Stopped tagging movies, sorting function dead. One of the highlights of this app was its ability to filter and sort according to release date, tomatometer, genre, etc. Suddenly late last year either new movies just stopped being updated or someone just grew tired of tagging the movies and shows by genre or release date. The entire sort-by function is useless for me.

False info and lags. I only downloaded this so I can find what stream service has whatever show/movie I’m looking for. This app works sometimes but gives false info saying certain stream services has what I’m looking for but then when I go look it’s not there. It’s also lags and delays when trying to search. Don’t bother there are way better apps to do this. Update: I deleted this app when I wrote the review and have since found an app that works fantastic and does what it says it does.

Still unable to launch. This used to be a great app that I used all the time to locate and watch the shows and movies that I want it. Recently something has happened where the app has been unable to launch ! even with a couple of app updates the app still does not launch ! what is going on

Down the Drain…. What used to be my ‘Go-to’ app for up to date info on any film or TV series anywhere on the Web, has become a useless piece of trash. It was THE app to locate and watch anything and everything I ever wanted, a Search Engine for Entertainment. … All gone. It isn’t even worth the space it uses to keep it on my devices. I was practically begging them to develop a version for Apple TV. Now it’s not even staying on my iPod. Goodby old friend. Whoever is responsible should be drawn and quartered!

Nice idea.... Needs work. I wanted a place to see all the streaming I already have and pay for in one place so I don't have to search each site individually. This had that option but there are no options too filter by MPAA rating and really it is pretty slow. I can usually search in all the other apps faster. I'll still use this and hope it improves.

There it is. Thousands of movies and shows to find . There are what.. maybe just under a million ways to stream them. Finally a smart app to get it going. Thank you Yidio.

Love this app... Anytime I wanna watch something beyond random, the only way to figure out where it will be playing is Yidio. Whatever app it’s on, yidio will find it. Also just fun as a movie/tv fan

Makes no sense. This doesn’t make any sense, the point of this is to be able to watch whatever show no matter when they broadcast. Very Upset because instead of being able too view my show what I get is a pop up directing me to sign up foro sling. What? I just enrolled on you membership.

Pretty Good. I used this app for a while to find out where I could watch certain shows. They seem to have moved away from that convenience feature in recent updates. Also, the app is very slow, and always has been. I’ve since switched to JustWatch and I like it much better.

Waste of time. Do not bother.. This is not a tv show and movie streaming service. This is a referral service that tells you which apps that your shows / movies and playing on. Even if you sign up for their free trial subscription where you pay later it doesn’t play shows for you. Total scam. False advertising. Waste of time. Thanks for nothing.

Great app but needs some work. Here’s what I think should be changed: 1) Although load times have improved with recent updates, the app still takes a little too long to load initially. 2) The biggest bug is that the app will not restore to the original position in a list after viewing an entry. For example, if I search movies by a set of MyApps and start scrolling, I may scroll through 5 pages worth of movies, find one I like, and then click it to view details. Everything is fine till this point—now here’s the problem—when I click back to return to the list, I start back at the beginning of the original list! There should be a way for the app to “remember” where I left off and return to that spot. Web browsers have been able to do this sorta thing since their beginning. It shouldn’t be that much more coding to add this small feature. Without fixing this bug, it makes practical use of the app very limited.

Has a problem. Edit: The new layout seems to mean that this app now only works in portrait orientation on an iPad? I am not going to pick up my device off its stand and flap it around (kinking and shortening the life of my cord), check the app, and then flap it around some more and get it settled again between shows. Not over and over as a daily thing, for sure. I never use portrait for anything on my iPad unless it is unavoidable, and certainly not when consuming videos. I used to like this app a lot, and hung in through the no-saves phases, and the slow-loading era, but ... this orientation thing doesn't look like a bug ... I think the developers chose to do this on purpose. If so, it's time for me to move on. —— Previous comment: The app has a nice interface and is great for keeping track of what I have watched across platforms. While it is pretty good for checking availability on various services, the prices aren’t always accurate. Unfortunately it has a problem now where it has stopped saving data recording what shows I have checked off. It had this problem for a while not long ago and it was fixed or resolved itself, and now it is doing it again. I hope it is fixed soon, and doesn’t happen again, because it has almost gotten annoying enough to go set up all my shows and etc on a different app.

Search all the Legal Movie Galleries!. This is exactly the app I was needing. I was so fed up with all the loading times associated with opening and searching each app only to find the movie I was hoping to watch isn’t available on any of my paid streaming services. Now I can locate any movie or show from all my legal streaming services in one place! I love this app!

A must.. Stops me forgetting that I have more time to waste watching more shows that I could have potentially forgotten about. This is serious stuff. And I love it. It’s like a personal assistant. JKJKJKJK

ipad pro issues , ipad mini 4. this app is not working with ipad pro 12 in. After starting app it freezes. If you close the app and restart it starts to work, but is very jerky with the display. Tried it also on ipad mini 4 same results. Too bad would be nice to use since FanTV app closed operations

Greatly Improved. Virtually all of the speed problems have been resolved. The app makes it easy to find streaming sources for specific TV shows and movies. The last year of updates has made a huge difference in usability. The UI is basic, without a lot of clutter. Search results are accurate , but not always complete - it may miss a source on occasion. Given the sheer number of TV and movie sources and stream available, it does a very good job of locating my requests. I’d like to see a lower price for the annual upgrade, however the free version does a good job. I’ll kick my review up to 5 stars if the upgrade is worth the price - just signed up today.

Complete trash. Your app is garbage. I literally just purchased a subscription to Showtime because your app said the only place to watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was on Showtime and guess what, it’s not available on here. So thanks for wasting my time and money, you useless piece of trash-excuse for an app. Also, BTW, almost all the prices of your movies are wrong for every single service. For SD they’re less, and for HD they’re more.

Slow. I always seem to experience a slow response when using the app. Trying to search a show - sometimes I have to type the entire name before if gives me the show (even though the suggested show up until that moment sometimes seem random and I’m wondering why the entire name had to be type before the one I was looking for appeared on the list). -Try to click on search and I have to tap it a couple of times before I get the keyboard to type. -After selecting a show, I can get just a blank screen with the spinning wait dial for over a minute. That’s toooo long. Other times the graphic will come up but no words or app listing. I find myself relying less upon the app the find information. Don’t know what happened but it been like this for a while now.

Not loading properly. This app used to be fantastic and would have received 5 stars, but for quite some time the app freezes after loading. After several retries, it will load correctly.

Why did they remove the feed?. The new version of the app removes your tv feed :( Very disappointing as that was my main use of the app. Also, if I accidentally click the remote icon for the Roku, the Yidio app is stuck in the remote screen and I have to quit the app to use it again.

Doesn’t save what I added to watchlist. I decided to change my password. Than resigned into app after changing password through the email reset. Now my watchlist is all gone. Decided to reattach my shows but nothing shows up in my watchlist. I even deleted the app and downloaded it again. Very disappointed.

Worked perfectly until updated. This was my go to app to track episodes of TV shows I watched as well as movies. However, since the update, things I add to watch list on one screen do not show up on the designated watch list screen. I’m very sad because the app is essentially worthless now and no other app worked as well for this purpose.

Needs fixing. This App has been defective for years. You have to open and close the app 3 to 4 times to use it because it freezes on the first and second opening of the app. Other than the that the app is good. PLEASE FIX!!!!

Consistently useful. I’ve been a satisfied user for years. I’ll happily pay for the premium subscription when it’s priced right.

Total rip-off. First of all they advertise a free trial for a few days to try out before you’re charged the $4.99 but nope that charge is coming immediately. Even when you put in the apps you have it wants to show you all the platforms you don’t have so you can clearly see where their checks are coming from. It’s a nice concept executed very poorly guess I’ll continue with IMDB.

Extremely slow and it keeps crashing.... I wish this app would work because it has a great format but it’s extremely slow, it continues to crash, and it’s difficult to make changes to my watch list.

Chromecast. Dear Yidio developer,the app overall is great but it will be much better if it had a chromecast option available which would make it perfect.

Update Fail. Ever since the latest updates the “watchlist only” filter is not working which basically makes this app almost useless.

BACK TO 5 STAR APP. IPad landscape mode has been restored in this update so I have updated my review to reflect that. I have no idea why after so many years they would else an update that no longer supported landscape mode on the iPad but they have quickly resolved the issue so I have updated my updated my review to reflect the 5 stars that this excellent app deserves when the iPad is fully supported. Please fix !!. This app was awesome. Kept track of things I’ve watched and searched for. Now I can’t even get anything to load on the app. It’s always loading. And if I search for a movie title I sit there waiting for it to load. It’s been going on for a while but I was hoping they’d fix it. If not I’m just gonna delete the app.

Don’t download. Do not download if you’re hoping to watch stuff it will redirect you to other apps where you have to pay to watch stuff. It just shows what app to watch the show on. Not recommended. I added a whole bunch of shows to my watch list and found out I can’t even watch it.

Not loading. For some reason since the last update I can not get the app to load. Before it was brilliant. I was able to keep track of what episodes I watched since I watch everyone from streaming apps or devices. Now I can’t even get the app to load. I’ll open it and let it try and do its thing, and then it closes on its own, never loading the app itself. Very frustrating. It has 2 stars because up until now, it was a 5 star app.

Missing key features for me. This is a decent app with regular releases, but it’s missing some key features for me. 1. The ability to sort my watch list by more than just alpha and recently added is tar stakes. I’d like the ability to sort by unwatched and IMDb ratings would be great. 2. There’s too many good shows to watch these days. I need some sort of parking lot (other apps call it an archive) for shows on my watch list that I’m not currently viewing. This way I can quickly see what’s next. 3. Sync across devices. iCloud would work, Trakt tv would be better.

Love this app. No other app that I know of helps you figure out the best way to watch a movie for free or at the lowest costs! Brilliant in an age of chromesticks, fire tv, apple tvs and various apps.

Amazing but..... Is App is great. It has all the show I want to see. I love that it’s free too. But the thing is that when I put a movie to my watchlist it doesn’t go there so I have to search it up. The other thing is that how do I watch the shows I want to watch. I press on the episode that I want to watch but then I don’t know what to press because it for say anything else. So I don’t know what to do. I want to watch the shows but I don’t want to pay anything. Thank you for taking your time and reading my review. Hopefully I get a reply to see what I can do.

Disappointment. The app doesn’t let me watch anything. I was expecting an app which would let the user watch various different shows for free. Instead I was disappointed to find out all you could do in this app is create playlists of shows and check them off once you have watched them.

Hey, what’s up?. I guess, as a senior citizen, I just don’t understand a lot of these newer things. I got several months behind on Days of Our Lives and noticed that this app has the show all the way back to 1965. I saw I could pay $4.99 a month. That’s a good price. Found the first episode I needed and WHAT? I have to pay $1.99 an episode?? This is no good deal. It would cost me $600 to catch up!! I’m outta here.

Been using for years. I’ve been using this app for years and I love it but with the new updates that started about three months ago, the app just hasn’t been working great. I use this app to keep track of where I am in shows and to know where shows/movies are available but every time I check off an episode as watched it will exit out of the show and then when I click on it again there are episodes that I haven’t even seen checked off as watched. It’s kind of irritating because I am a very organized person and now with this glitch it just scrambles everything and then I don’t even remember what I have seen and what I haven’t. I love this app and I would hate to stop using it but it is getting really tiresome and with each new update I figure they fixed the problem but nothing ever changes.

False advertising. So when your not logged in, it shows u that they have certain shows available to watch but then when I actually signed up. Every single episode and every season of that show said it wasn’t added on yet. False advertising.

Works great for a tv/movie app. If your used to watching torrent movies, then you might get bored with the free style movies there. Good find but I’ve seen 90% of it. Interface is great!!! Hands down! Definitely worth it.

How do unsubscribe. I down loaded this an used it once but many months thereafter I am automatically been debited. Please assist with instructions how to stop this

Forcing upgrade!. Every time I open this app and try to use it, it signs me up for the paid version with the 7 day free trial (which of course if you don’t cancel the free trial, it automatically charges your account) and then tells you that it has signed you up, and the only option you have to click to clear the screen is “OK” then when I go in to try to find it in iTunes to cancel, it’s not there. I do not trust this app anymore. I used to absolutely love it, but since this has happened every time I open the app I am now deleting it and will never download it again! Very shady Yidio! Shame on you!

It used to be great...hangS now.. New One: just downloaded new update. Had hopes it would start to work again. Still just hangs on startup, and keeps hung. This app has not worked for me for quite some time, and there seems to be no awareness there’s an issue. Is this a problem on the big iPad? Nope, hangs on both iPads. Cannot recommend any longer. Btw, I am forced to use the review to report the issue since neither the app nor the so-called site provides actual support. OLD Review: Absolutely my go-to app to find out whether there is a streaming video available for a show that I'm thinking about. It also shows me alternative sources of videos apps that I can explore. Very nice. Recommended.

Deception / Not The Original Yidio. Yidio gave access to promised/available content for a price up until 2-years ago. The only downside was having to wait for currently airing shows to wrap-up and appear on Yidio’s servers. Now you pay more than before only to be presented with content that must be accessed through a different provider and thus a paid subscription with that provider. The point of Yidio was to do away with multiple, excessive subscriptions and cable fail-to-providers. Why exactly would anyone pay a subscription just to be presented with another subscription? This is beyond ridiculous. This is just moronic. This is deceptive.

So bad. Sometimes search can find a show, and sometimes it can’t, with the same search criteria. Once you do find the show you have to click into an episode to find out what services it is on. Lacks any attempt at a user friendly UI.

5star movies. So far I like what I see in the information I receive from this app but once I actually get to watch a movie or show that I Save and added to my watchlist this app would become the best movie app I came across by four but until then it’s pretty much the same as any other movie app I mean I wish at least once a month or once a week I would be able to watch a new movie for free if not just any movie but a top rating most popular movie in theaters from this movie app a movie I chosen from my watchlist but overall I gave this app five stars

So convenient!. I love and recommend this app. I subscribe to many different streaming platforms and hated searching each one for a particular title. My only question to the developers is: I see you have Disney Now, but when will Disney+ be included?

Slow. Love that I can keep track of what shows I'm on and what episode of each show in on. Also love that I can find what streaming device each show is on. But most of the time it's so slow and it buffers and doesn't bring what you have clicked on up at all, it will keep spinning/buffering even after a few minutes. I try to force close the app often, restart my phone sometimes even, but always the same issue. I have been using this app for over 3 years. I love its features but Hate the constant buffering and slowness of the app. They really need to fix that! Seems like it's been getting worse over the years happening more often and for longer wait times.

I can’t get in to the shows. No password accepted. I need a live person to help me set up. I can’t move forward without a password.

Pinwheels. Every screen change results in more spinning pinwheels. This was a great app but has fallen on hard times in all formats.

Speed it up!. It takes a painfully long time for the results to show!

Oops - something went wrong. Seems to work for TV shows but keeps failing on movies. Says “received crash report” but has been broken for weeks. App also seems slow.

Disappointing. While I like the concept the app itself does not work well upon opening. It stalls out and I have to swipe up and reopen 2-3 times to get it to work. I look forward to this bug fix every update and every update I’m disappointed.

Disappointed 😢. I googled an old show I wanted to watch and this is one of the few ways to watch it that came up. I searched it and added it to playlist and bought the app. Now it’s saying sorry we don’t actually have that show! REALLY!!! I just spent 20 min. Dealing with this for NOTHING! Liars!!!

Doesn’t work at all anymore. This app was my go to, to find out where I could stream entertainment. It hasn’t worked at all for the last few months. I open it and it’s just a gray screen. I can’t seem To find a place to get support either.

Keeps hiding apps & not accurate. I keep unhiding streaming sources & Yidio keeps re-hiding them! Stop it!!! Also, it’s not accurate: says Cumberbatch Sherlock is on Netflix - it hasn’t been since May 2021… so only 11 months behind.

Subscription. They should have it to where when you pay a subscription you can watch al thing movies and tv shows

Watch next does not work. I’ve tried to add shows to the up next section and nothing will add. I’ve tried within the browse section and in the watch section. The whole point of the app and it doesn’t work, sad.

Big Fudging Problem fix it now. I just downloaded the app started my free trail even though it changed me already but my problem is I CANNOT WATCH ANY SHOW FOR SOME REASON I tap on the show and episode I want to watch but when I tap on the watch now button it does nothing. What a scam

Where the Heck is my Watchlist?. I keep adding things to my Watchlist, but I have no clue how to access it! U just keep getting shown more things to add to it, but can’t see what I’ve put in it. Kind of a waste to bother to create a Watchlist!

Freezes and lags. App freezes after you open. When data finally shows up, it is very laggy afterward. It is pretty much useless to search and navigate because of those issues.

Easy to search. Yidio helps me know exactly where to watch my faves. Thank you!

Big let down. I was hoping this was an app where I could actually WATCH the shows on it and not just see where they were and then pay for the shows :/ I’ve been dying to watch Good Omens and I don’t have prime and I’m to young to own a credit card.

Disappointed. I was really hopeful that this app would include the criterion channel. This is not the case, they basically search the same services every other search engine like this does.

SCAM. I downloaded this add thinking I could watch shows on it and everything. So I purchased a trial membership. When I realized it was just a media player I cancelled the meme we ship on 06/23 yet 07/07 I was still charged for something I didn’t want.

It’s crap. If your reading this, DONT GET IT. It’s way too slow and unresponsive and it keeps popping up things asking you to get premium. Not worth it.

They’ve screwed it up. All of my channels and my watch list have been deleted with this latest up date. If I’d know beforehand, I never would have used this app.

Graphics will not load. Have uninstalled and reinstalled 2x. Cannot find any help information. App worked fine until approx 6 months ago.

Search. The app has an issue with search. Search gets stuck, or sometimes takes 30 seconds to catch up. If they rewrote search, the app would be much better!

Too long to load. Takes way too long to load before being able to search for a movie. I have an iPad Pro. Takes almost a minute to load.

No App for TV. Why isn’t there an app for my TV when I search for it.. otherwise it’s a great app.

Used to be able to find movies elsewhere. When Yidio first was released, I used it to find movies on the different cable and online channels. Now, it seems to be a shill for YouTube’s pay movie channel. Even in unhiding the other apps doesn’t do anything. A useless app.

Terrible. This app used to work but the only thing I can do on my iPhone 6s since the last update, is add to my the watch list. Can’t search, can’t find anything on my account. It is useless!!! Don’t waste your time downloading this app.

deleted after an hour. I only got this app because it claimed to have info on how i could stream a movie I have only before ever found in disk. I was wrong. the app simply had IMDB info but no streaming info. Waste.

I’d stay away from. Say you want to find a streaming app that’s free and kinda like Netflix, Yidio is not the app. You need some directv subscription to watch videos, most of the episodes and movies you have to pay for, and it’s a huge mess. If you want a free streaming site that’s legal, I’d suggest Tubi TV or Popcornflix, 100% better than this garbage

New update crashes app. Wish I never updated the app because now it’s crashes all the time, you can’t adjust the presets or open the watchlist which is the only reason I use it so I know which one of my shows recently aired.

What?. So I see all these reviews and I’m pretty sure their fake because when I try and make a new account it doesn't load I even left it on over night and was still loading devs help?

It won’t load. If you enjoy spinning pinwheels, blank screens, and waiting forever for nothing to load, then this app is for you. Why Yideo? Why won’t literally anything work for me? I’ve driven this over a month but now I’m thinking about giving up on this and just deleting. So disappointing!
