Not a good app!. This app is absolutely horrible. Constantly disconnects and when you try to reconnect, you can’t. What a complete waste of money. Too bad I purchased the lifetime membership. And, when I try to restore my purchase, it says “No previous purchase found.” What a bloody rip-off! Big time regrets getting this useless app.

Please allow AirPods to control the video player. I am loving the app so far, but when I am driving or I cannot look down at my watch I think it would be nice to have the ability to pause the video with my AirPods or skip to the next video as i primarily use this to find a video quickly and play it, not necessarily watching on my wrist

Great except... Really great app, works well on my SE2. Only thing that’s missing is ability to zoom in on the video to make it full screen instead of widescreen to use all the available real estate. Would rather miss what’s happening on the left and right edge than have to squint. Or at least have the option to choose per video which view makes the most sense.

Amazing just drowns battery fast. The fact that you can watch all those videos is crazy, but it does drown battery like really fast

100% 4 star. i say 4 star because the videos are amazing tou can watch anything you want but the only thing is ,is that they take a min to load the video. If you want your videos to load faster you have to pay for it but i think it should be free but this is a really good app definitely download !!!!

Help please. Everything worked ok at first, but the next day, when I tried to turn on the video again, the rewind was happening and I couldn't turn on the video. It just unwinds the tape.

Fills the need. Thanks for providing this app. I like the high-quality video and quick playback under WiFi. Will you please come out with fast forward and reverse please so not functions backwards, forwards, freeze-frame, etc? the pause is a nice touch. Keep working on it, you’ve got a winner here!

Iraq. Hi i hope your reading this but i don’t know if the is intentional or not but when i watch a video then exit it then try to watch agin it says that the data couldn’t be found and the video closes after 3sec and sometimes when i click on another video that i didnt watch it says the same thing pls fix

App is very promising already!. Update: Not even a week later, and the dev added in the various playback speed options. This app is awesome on an Ultra 2! Updating to 5 stars, now! Thanks, Dev! Very impressed so far! I will add that it performs worlds better at standard quality and that’s just fine on a tiny screen it still looks great. Biggest feature I want to see added is ability to set default playback speed to something like 1.2x. Can this be added to the list of updates? :) thanks!

Autoplay. I was very happy to have the songs I love in my watch but was very disappointed after paying 4.99 the I have to manually pick each song after another as this app seem to have no autoplay which is like the how point of having your playlist play. I wish I could get my money back and will recommend the developer to add the feature

I love it. I love this app because I can use it on the bus when bored because I don’t bring my phone so this gets a 5 star

Slow, but works better than other apps.. The “account” section of the app is extremely slow. App also does not allow me to link my second account under the same email, which is annoying.

Needs an update. I really like the app and I’d give it a higher rating although. It needs to be updated. I purchased the lifetime edition. And it keeps bringing up that I need premium and it causes problems. With loading up videos. Fix that and I’ll write up a better review with a higher rating. I did as they said and still same thing problems with loading my favorites that I selected every time I go into it it brings up I need to purchase premium. Then when I exit and go back in to my favorites that I liked. It goes back to working just fine.

Great. This is the best app I’ve used and it’s great I just can’t get it to redownload but that’s a me issue. I would get again tho.

Favorite Watch App. I love this app so much! I watch so many videos on the watch when I work, looking at my wrist here and there. The only thing that I think would make it even better is the ability to choose if you want the screen to turn off when you lower your wrist or if you want it to stay on. Also it would be amazing if the progress bar could be controlled with the crown

Genius. The app all runners wanted. I am a daily exercise junkie and I hate taking my phone when my watch would do just fine. The wrist watch for $8 lifetime is the bargain of the century. Thanks guys this is a genius app👍🏻😇

Nice app. Saved me money from buying an Ultra 2 watch because Ultra one description says it can't play videos. This app works great

Can you please add a feature to zoom in please?. You could zoom in with two fingers or have a setting that fills the video screen onto the Apple Watch screen, please

Almost there. The concept is there, but the button layout is frustrating. I do not need a skip video feature. I need a scrub/fast forward button or use the crown to scrub. I also need audio output like Bluetooth headphones option. Also, it never saves my place. Every time it kicks me out of app my video progress is lost - even though I’m logged into my account?!

Don’t forget to cancel your free trial after you purchase the full app.. I thought I was doing the right thing and being supportive by purchasing this app in full, but apparently they will continue charging a weekly fee if you don’t cancel in the App Store. According to their Support and feedback left by others who ran into this, they feel that leaving an in-app message is enough to “remind” you to cancel your subscription. That’s their opinion, so now I’m expressing mine. I’m a simple guy, I support your business, you make it easy for me to. Wristtube has not made it easy, and now I’m having to go through hoops to get $2.15 back after paying them for the full service. Great app, bad payment handling.

Wish I could give it 5 stars. I was ready for o give this app 5 stars because it was letting me play videos on my watch and it was great but that was only for about 15 minutes and now it wont work. All I get is a loading black screen forever. I’ve tried restarting my watch the app etc. and it still is not working.

Lifetime?🤔. If u have a 1 time payment to use this and it will charge u again instead of the 1 time payment they said it would be and it only works if you pay 10 a week witch is messed up I paid fore a lifetime and had to pay by week not month and it’s said for the lifetime that it’s only a 1 time payment and that’s a lie

NEVER WORKS! Even after purchase…. I started with the free versions with limited videos a day and there was zero issue. I purchased the lifetime subscription to add my account, unlimited videos, and an ad free experience, but now the app is completely broken! 90% of the time a video will never start, just sits in the buffering wheel. And if a video does begin to play, it will always cut out after about 4 mins of playback. This is completely unacceptable and I’m very disappointed in my decision to purchase this app. WARNING TO ANYONE ALSE: LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE!

Just buy it!. One of the best watch apps I’ve ever used! Premium is absolutely worth it and can’t recommend this app enough. You can even login to your account so you get your history and subscriptions. Game changer!

Repeat charging every month even though I have purchased “Lifetime”! And zero response to my contact. I purchased Lifetime on day one and from day two they start to repeatly charge me every week! And the account stopped connecting with my watch and no one provided any response when I ask them through email! Don’t purchase this service!

Better than Watchtube. Watchtube doesn’t play videos and this app does recommended for Apple Watch

Great app with a few minor issues. Hello, just want to start off by saying i absolutely love this app. Im unable to bring my phone into work so i use my apple watch with cellular to watch videos throughout the day. Usually works amazingly. Today I've been trying to use it but when i try and load videos it says “Connection error. please check your internet connection and try again”. (See picture below). I’ve tried uninstalling the app, restarting the apple watch, and switching my data on and off. Even when it’s connected with my phone it says the same thing so I'm almost positive it’s some sort of bug. Thanks!

Well designed app. Beware that this app will drainnn your watches battery and videos take some time to load. This isn’t the apps fault though it’s just how Apple Watches were designed. 8 dollars for a full time use but honestly worth it considering how I can’t have my phone in school lol. Well designed app just wish Apple made their watches more powerful

What a scam. I downloaded this on my Apple Watch SE and I wish I could give this no stars and my watch started to act weird and I turned it off and I turned it back on and the Apple logo popped up and it was stuck on the screen for a minute and it turned off and I had to force restart it about three times DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP FOR YOUR APPLE WATCH

Really good but…. WristTube is a really good app but when ever I enter the app it says “join premium” and some times I will try to watch a video and it will not work so I will try a different video but it won’t work so I have to shut down my watch for it to work.

Video Issue. The app is amazing but the only problem is the i can no longer watch videos because it will only appear as “ something if went wrong try again later “ and it has been days, i tried i reseting my watch and uninstalling the app nothing works. please fix this

Rating. Can you please change the age thing to under 18!! Please I’m begging you, I need this app to fall asleep, but apart from that it’s pretty good

No Video Will Play. Immediately purchased Lifetime version w/o testing the product—wasn’t a smart move. I have not been able to watch one video yet. The gear-like wheel just turn and turns until it times out. I’ve deleted and uninstalled the app and no reset occurred to fix the reoccurring software glitch. Seeking a resolution from the Developer.

Great. This is a great app, I can finally go phone less and less to certain music not available on Apple Music

Video stop playing. The app is clean and I like it. The only problem I am having is that the video stops playing after 5 minutes. I also have a lifetime premium subscription, which should give me faster connection speeds.

No captions. For some reason the only issue is the video isn’t playing but the audio is just fine I can not figure out what the issue is but just wanted to see if maybe something is wrong with the app

Stopped working. Was working great until it wasn’t, I’m not able to play videos any more they pop up in the search but when I click I get the option to play the video but it’s like a picture it doesn’t play.

Full-featured. This dev is awesome. There's a spit-shine on this app that is rare and perfect. The app is full featured with smart options like audio-only mode, full-screen support, and all your recent videos from subscribed channels one tap away. It prevents me from picking up my phone and getting lost in its glow for hours. Same gestures as the official yt app, so doubled tap to advance, tap and hold for 2x speed, all the good stuff. It isn't missing anything!

Inconsistency. It’s seem like only ever other video will play on my watch , or no video will play . The inconsistency video play is the biggest frustration I have with this app. If this could be fixed, if this could be fixed, it would be a good app.

It’s ok. It works great but for some reason there are videos that are blurred and some of the videos I play just glitch out and kick me out back to the menu so I can’t watch everything. So plz fix the for inappropriate videos that I can watch…

Idk. So how come i need a phone to download this, like all i want to do is watch videos on my watch since i dont have a phone. I downloaded it on my old watch through my ipad but this time it does not work. Can you fix this

Updates. They fixed a lot of the bugs, but I hope the login is more persistent now. It used to not really work and you would need to relogin every week. The update just happened, so I hope my account just stays logged in from now on.

Why is it always like this?. I know for a fact that this app is great but I just wish that there was a free alternative for this kind of thing. Everything on the Apple Watch costs money except for a few things. I just wish that there was a way for you to develop an app like this one that was free with no subscriptions with the exception of stuff like premium versions or whatever. I just really wish this was possible 😔. Devs if there is a free version pls let me now how to get it. By the way if there IS a free version I cannot use it unless it is 11+ or lower as I am 11 years old.

Almost a full solution. I was drawn to this as I want to use my Apple Watch alone more often as I pay for cellular Im not frequently using. I wanted YT music to run natively from the watch so I could leave my phone behind for workouts, etc. and avoid paying for Apple Music when YT Premium is ideal for me. The only issues I am seeing right now is auto playing next video not working, unless I interact with the watch. Like tapping the screen, flicking wrist to wake it, or pressing one of the buttons. And pressing the AirPods do not play/pause or skip songs. As seems to just be a YT client, to play my likes and supermix, I have been creating a playlist for that month for them, and imported all the songs to said playlists. It does a good job of keeping it in order that I added them initially on the YT Music app on the phone. A pretty manual process I know.

Ok. The app is fine but why do you have to pay for fast connection and high quality videos

This is the app I always wanted. One enhancement could make this perfect. When I tap the progress bar, which turns at red, can you make it so I can use the crown to go forward or backward? It’s pretty difficult to navigate using the touch control.

good app. When i first saw this app i was like "this is way too good to be true" bc i never knew there was a FREE youtube for watch app that ACTUALLY functions without being locked behind a paywall. I think most of the features that are locked behind a paywall are fair enough (mans gotta eat yk) one thing that annoys me to no end is not being able to log in without premium. Decent app and I love the frequent updates, and im glad there are no ads (although i wouldnt mind them if some features were unlocked. tldr great app with minor setbacks i look forward to new updates :)

Surprisingly this works. This works pretty good only thing they got work is the keyboard delay.

A feature that I think would make this app. I really appreciate this app, but as someone that views a lot of long form content, scrolling through videos accurately is pretty difficult. I think I would be great if there was some sort of button or means to have the video jump to a specific time. Like a triple tap on the time bar could bring up a number pad and let’s you type in say, “45:12” or something to that effect. This would make it much easier to pick up from my phone, iPad, or Mac, as video playback progress doesn’t sync. I imagine the syncing is just a limitation of YouTube rather than the app dev(s), but this is why keying in a timestamp would be so helpful! It would turn this from a once in a while app to a daily app for me.

Gotta love technology. A friend of mine told me she watched stuff on her watch and I’m like what!! So I searched and here I am purchased a lifetime subscription for $4.99 menn this is the best purchase ever haha 😆🥰, now I can enjoy my phone better while watching youtube on my watch.

Can't Shuffle My Playlists. I recently got this app and paid the lifetime fee so I could access all the features. I linked my YouTube account and was happy that I could get to my playlists from their that I like to workout too, I was able to do it the very first day I had the app but when I revisited the app I was no longer able to shuffle the playlist and cannot find a single control on the menu that allows me to do so. I have spent quite some time looking for some type of shuffle toggle and found nothing. If I let the playlist play through, it goes to some weird reccommended playlist. I'm not sure what is going on and normally would not be a problem and I would simply delete the app, only difference here is I paid for it. Please help locate these functions for me, fix the app, or i'd like to request a refund. Thank you. Wil happily change my rating once this is resolved.

YouTube For Apple Watch!!!. Man this YouTube app for Apple Watch is crazy! I had this watch for 2 years and never really used the features, but now oh man I use it everyday now just because I can actually look and hear videos from my watch!! So worth it!

Normally I hate in app purchases, but for $5 to have my youtube account and curated vids, AS well as my playlists, liked vids, subscriptions, etc all in higher quality with faster connection speed?? Easily worth the 1 time purchase. You can fast forward and rewind with simple taps on the screen. This app is seriously a youtube for your watch. Very impressed and definitely satisfied with the quality of the app. Highly recommend!

Wrist tube. The app is fine but without premium it takes long to get ready and also the quality on the video is pretty mid. Other than that it’s fine but I don’t think that there should be a premium that cost money because it should be free just like YouTube.

Another Paywall, Limited Use. I’m gonna be blunt here, this is essentially a paywall… you lock the videos in SD, which is fine for the watch, but you say people need to pay for UHD… and might I let you know that UHD means 4K, and the watch’s screen isn’t even large enough to support 720p standard HD? UHD is four times the pixels of 1080p. If it can’t support Full HD, it absolutely cannot support 4K. Plus, let’s not leave out the payment thing… I have to pay just to bind my account. I already pay for YouTube Premium on my account. I can watch 2K videos on my phone. I can watch 2K videos on my Ultrawide monitor (I use 2K because 4K is stretched unevenly). I can watch 4K video on my QLED TV. And better? I get it all without ads with premium, and I get to look forward or hold my hands in a functional position instead of my wrist in front of my face, which isn’t all that practical. And the paywall for loading faster… what purpose does this even serve? The watch’s hardware is limited to begin with, making the videos take forever to load just to ultimately view them in SDR because the watch screen is tiny and the device not powerful is pointless when I can otherwise whip out my iPhone and pull up the video ad-free in seconds. As for why I gave the app two stars? … … …it doesn’t crash, unlike a third party browser I encountered the other day.

Cool but can’t connect. Can’t connect to my YouTube account. Nothing I do seems to make it connect. Payed the subscription to connect it and still doesn’t work. Cool app but kinda annoyed I wasted money and one of the main features don’t work.

YouTube but on Apple Watch. This is so amazing if I am out anywhere, I can just watch YouTube from my Apple Watch. This app is so amazing. Five stars. I would definitely recommend if you have an Apple Watch I would recommend getting this it makes it much better and premium isn’t even that expensive plus it makes the UI better and there is an option to get it permanently instead of having to pay every month thank you developers for making this app!

Works well. I like this app as it’s the only app that I know of that will let me stream YouTube on my LTE watch. Controls very much like the iPhone app. Few features I’d like to see. The ability to rotate the video to fill my watch screen and ability to zoom the video. Otherwise very cool. Add those features and I’ll buy a lifetime subscription and give a five star rating.

Im using the series 7 and this is amazing I’ve always wanted a good youtube app on my apple watch and unlike others this one actually works i love that it automatically connects to my AirPods as the other apps I’ve used cant do that i also LOVE that the audio keeps playing even if the apple watch isn’t facing up and when it is facing up the video plays again this app is literally perfect

Just buy it. Novelty to watch YouTube on your wrist? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely.

Don’t waste you money. I downloaded this app to listen to my fave’s on YouTube on my watch at the gym. It plays 2-3 minutes and stops. It’s so frustrating! I payed for the “premium “ thinking it would play better, but No! Going back to podcast I guess☹️

Idk. I got this app so I can watch vids on a road trip I took a while ago incase my phone dies. You have to pay to make an acc or sign into one!!!! Regular youtube don't even make you pay to make an account I do not suggest getting it you unless you want to have to pay for everything and waste your money. Very disappointed 🙄😕😒

pay to use. i’m only putting 5 stars so people see this. this app is horrible you literally have to pay money on this app to sign into your google account first of all. everything about this app is a paid feature. you want to resume a video you were watching ? you have to pay for it. did your apple watch turn off while you were watching a video? well it’s up to you to go and find that video and the exact time stamp you were at because guess what it’s a paid feature!!! everything about this app that is free on youtube is paid. it’s ridiculous, the only thing this app is good for is if you’re playing a video in your phone and want to transfer it to your watch, but even then you have to go search for that video yourself, because linking the two is guess what A PAID FEATURE!!!!!. you pay like what $5 when you could just use youtube for free? not to mention everytime you try using the app you risk accidentally clicking something that prompts you to pay for the subscription.

I LOVE THIS. This gives people with watches a chance to watch YouTube,You can even watch this on the phone. I love wrist tube because it’s the same as normal YouTube.
