Never ever works. I've been patient with this app for a couple years. I have several restaurant apps. I get that food people are not always the best app makers. But this app has just one job and it functions maybe 5% of the time. So frustrating because it could save me a lot of time of it just worked.

Not customer friendly. Would not accept the coupon when I came into the store to pick up my order. Said I would have had to place my order in the store and wait for it to be prepared. Rude!

New app is so buggy it’s basically unusable. You can’t you gift cards or rewards in app. It causes the screen to go all white and unusable. You have force close the app and only way it works is if you don’t use any promotions or rewards. This app was not even close to being ready to launch when they switched over design

App crashes. Doesnt even let me login guess they dont care enough about it

App doesn’t work. Tried multiple times to create an account, will not recognize any email I enter. Waste of time!!!

Broken!. Terrible app - unable to sign into my account even after resetting my password. So then I ttied creating a new account with a different email and ‘submit’ doesn’t work. Just takes me in circles.

Don’t allow “curbside pickup” if it’s not an option. Waited 10 minutes after order said it would be ready. Finally went in the store and my order had been sitting there getting cold while employees were sitting at a table.

Location. It won’t let me choose a location. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it still doesn’t work.

Latest update made things worse!. UPDATE: You can now reorder. Other issues - can’t use promo codes or your rewards points - screen just goes white and nothing happens. You no longer have the ability to ‘reorder’ even though there is a button for it - you get a ‘Signature is not valid for this request’ message. You can’t even VIEW your previous orders, and you no longer have the ‘favorites’ section. You also can no longer split the check between two cards which is a huge drag. My sister and I used to split the check all the time. Also, you can only order one of something at a time. If you want 2 tacos you have to update the number in the cart - and - if you put a special note on your order - like corn tortillas instead of flour- you lose that note when you add the additional taco and have to put it in again! You still can’t order refill drinks, which is a pain. Overall the new app takes ten times longer to order anything so it’s not convenient to use when you’re in a hurry and just want to grab something. I end up going less now, which is probably a good thing.

Food is good application is horrendous. The absolute WORST app I’ve used for ordering food. Just refuses to work I don’t think I’ve ever successfully ordered through the app. Today I ordered and it said my order didn’t go through so I went and ordered through the website and surprise surprise it doubled my order. Absolutely ridiculous, you can tell how cheap this corporate is by how little money and effort they put into their app. Some people don’t have the money to waste 30 extra dollars on food that they don’t need.

Missing Warwick Rhode Island. It’s been more than a month now and you still don’t have Warwick location in your app. 🤦‍♂️

Improvement needed. I tried to use a coupon but it charged my card instead. It didn’t say that the coupon had a minimum spend amount and that amount must be met before tax. I immediately went to the restaurant to clear things up, and they said that can’t do anything with orders through the app. It has to go through somewhere else. I ended up getting charged, not getting food, seeing the food that was made for me get thrown away, and leaving hungry. Need to improve the communication of the terms of coupons in the app.

App never allows you to claim offers. Foods normally alright. App always offers deals but you can never claim them. Just a waste of your time adding the items to claim the coupon but then at payment you can’t apply it. There’s no actual reward. It’s almost a waste of your time unless your ordering. The claiming points thing works but not the my rewards.

Bring your family. Brought my Spanish speaking family an they loved it. Dora, our cashier was so helpful speaking both languages an making our visit easy an enjoyable. Food was 10/10 hot and delicious.

Terrible app. The update will not allow me to log into my account. I can log in on the website but doesn’t work on the app. What is the point of having the app if you can not place orders?

Password problems. The app does not allow special characters in passwords, but the web site does. I locked myself out of the app and it was difficult to resolve!

Food order. Great service!

Keeps crashing. Keeps crashing and won’t let me use my rewards. Needs to be fixed

Cannot login.. I’ve deleted and reinstalled 5x. It says my password has to be 8 characters but it’s over 10. I can login online but not on the app. Terrible.

It’s 2023! Add ApplePay!. I don’t want to share my card info, I don’t want to type my card info. I just want to give you money for food.

Great food, great managment. We enjoy the Baja Fresh menu and our local Baja Fresh is under the BEST management by Eric! Thank you!

App doesn’t work :/. Signed up twice with two different emails but never got a confirmation email on either. Therefore the app is useless.

Charged for fish salsa. I’ve been eating/ordering from Baja Fresh for decades and it is the first time I’ve been charged for extra fish salsa with a combo. When I asked if it was a new thing - the employee said they always do. Which I know isn’t the case!

Bad customer service. I ordered food right before they closed and I didn’t get there in time before they closed. The next day I called and the guy I spoke with there was so rude and yelling at me saying it was my fault and I’m not getting anything. Asked to talk to boss and said no I can’t and continued to yell at me. Such a horrible place. Will never go there again. I ended up loosing $40, such a bad customer service.

Does not apply reward. The app goes blank when I try to apply an award. I’ve reinstalled so many times and still I get a blank screen.

Kinda works. The app work well enough but my rewards/coupons disappear well before the expiration dates.

The worst app on the Web!. They keep sending me email I can’t use. Every time I try. I have to reset my password or they don’t recognize my my email. ( Which they send me emails too. Dumber than dumb.)

Come on man!. This is the 2 nd time in a row they have screwed our order up! It was a online order, so all they had to do was read it! Too many choice out there for this to have a chance of 3 in a roll!

Can’t add payment method. Unable to add a payment method to the account. Keep running across an error that says my cards tip has to match the total of the order(?). Cancelled my order after a few attempts.

Baja Fresh App. The new released version of the Baja Fresh app does not work. It crashes when you place your order.

Apple Pay literally doesn’t even work. Apps buggy

Technical Issues. Food is great but every time I try signing in I get “error undefined” order message.

Salsa issue. The food is good but we are very disappointed that your only allowed three very small containers of salsa. Open back up the salsa bar just like Rubio’s did

Could be 5 stars. I love Baja Fresh as a restaurant. Great food, great salsa, quality ingredients. The previous versions of this app were generally great, however there’s some issues with the latest version that are rather large peeves of mine: I would knock off a star for this, but I understand transient failures happen. The app is oddly sluggish, and the biggest issue is when submitting my order tonight, it gave me an error after attempting Apple Pay. I *almost* tried again before I luckily got an email and text confirming my order (the app still doesn’t thing I submitted an order). Maybe an internet burp tonight, maybe an app issue, idk. The names of some of the salsas changed and I literally have no idea what hot salsa I’m getting with my order. My favorite used to be called 6-chili, and now there isn’t one as an option. 50/50 gamble if I’m getting my favorite with my order tonight. Changing from pickup to delivery is very much *not* intuitive, and wiped my cart to boot. I didn’t change locations, just order type, so there was no reason to wipe my cart. Probably my biggest frustration with the app so far.

Where are all my Salsas!!!. Very very upset that I have no salsa in my bag. which I selected diring online order and pick up at store. 2 orders in this transaction and both requested for 3 salsas, but I end it up with none in my bag. Very very upset!!! The meals are not cheap and now with no salsa to go with my chips😡😡😡😡😡

Wrong items. I ordered a Baja chicken burrito and a Baja shrimp burrito and they were even labeled properly but when I got home, I had a Baja shrimp burrito and a Baja steak burrito

Wrong order can’t reach driver!. We got the wrong order! The delivery guy isn’t answering his phone. I texted and he hasn’t responded. We’re so hungry and now we have to go find something else to eat. That also means someone else will be getting the wrong food. AWFUL! Just awful.

Can’t order online. Gives a “token” error message when I try to place an online order, tried different cards and Apple Pay, see no sense in the app that doesn’t allow to order online

So many problems. This app is bad…really bad. Doesn’t save my login so I have to login in every single time I want to order doesn’t remember my previous orders, doesn’t remember my card info, and on multiple occasions I’ve ordered and the store never received my order and I was charged and had to order at the store and contact support to have a refund issued which takes almost 48 hours.

The old app was better. The old app was so much better. You could order and save it. Put under your favorites. Also there’s is nothing enough room to write instructions to tell them to make it a certain way. HATE this new app. Make it like the old one

The app doesn’t work. You can sign in with your phone number online but on the app you can’t. No matter what you do you can’t sign in.

Can’t change location. After downloading your “new” app and resetting my password, I find there’s no way to change the location you are trying to order from. The map comes up but no locations are clickable. I’m using an iPhone 13 on the latest version of iOS. Tried restarting my phone, restarting the app - nothing. Lame

Rubbish. This version of the app is useless. Won’t let me order anonymously, just fails without an error. Won’t let me create an account, also fails without an error.

No way to update email.. Once you register with this app, there is no way to update your email address and absolutely no way to contact anyone. And if you create a new account, it won’t let you add your phone number because is already in the other account.

This app is terrible. For one it doesn't let me select the Baja Fresh that is closest to my job. When I try to scroll down the list locations, it's buggy and will not scroll beyond the first two options. I've allowed it to log my location to give me Baja Fresh locations closest to me but low and behold I'm getting options about that go out of my way when there is a Baja Fresh close to where I work. That might sound lazy, and you can say just walk but when I'm busy and work and want to put in an order and have it done before I get there because I don't want to go to the restaurant order there and have to wait any longer and take time off of my break, it's a real inconvenience. Please fix this app. It also had issue with my using my primary email to sign up, some character issue that no other site or app seems to have with that email. Please fix this app.

Worst food app ever!!. Did you have a 5 year old develop this app? This is the worst of all the food apps out there. Why bother to have it!! I could write a better app in a few hours. The head of this project needs to be canned. Where’s the rewards point on the app?? You ask people to sign up but there’s no reference to the points within the app. This is a big oversight!

Fast, fresh and a healthy portion. Placed my order on the app while sitting in my car, and they had it ready within 2 minutes. I ordered a Baja bowl chicken bowl without rice, and they put tons of veggies and back beans instead. The bowls can be large enough for 2 people. Great value for quality food. 5 stars

Works great. Not sure why the negative reviews. I've had no problems with the app. For the stores that deliver this is just so easy to use and before you know it you have your food.

Worthless App. This app is worthless. When trying to order food you get multiple errors that never allow you to finish your order.

Unusable embarrassment.. Completely unusable except to get a phone number to call the store to place an order. Can't choose wheat tortillas and even if you could, you can't checkout because your order expires. Use the website on your phone, that will work.

Never accepts payment. This app is not finished. It has no quality checking throughout. For instance, it wants to know what kind of tortillas I want my fountain drink wrapped in. Then there's the problem with not being able to complete an order at all because it will not accept any credit card entered. Just go into the store, or call the order in, because the app does not work at all.

Asleep at the switch. BF is closer than Chipotle or we’d order from their super easy to use ap. Why can you hold on to a credit card #. Why doesn’t this thing remember orders? Was this ap built in Albania? Almost rather starve

Horrible App. Downloaded app -- entered personal information, credit cart, etc. -- selected time of pickup -- selected items ordered -- paid --waited for confirmation. Then, NOTHING. Called the store 15 min later and they got NOTHING. Pure vaporware --waste of time.

Time stamp. I've tried to order food twice using this app, and it doesn't work because it tells me that the pickup time for my order has expired and wants me to pick a new one. Your app should automatically update me to the next pickup time if it's taken me so long to enter the order that it can't be ready when promised. Fix this, please!

Crash crash crash. Downloaded, created account, tried to order through the app several times and it crashed again and again. Total waste of time. Wouldn't have downloaded if I had known it would be such a waste.

Doesn't work properly. First, the menu is lacking options available at the restaurant (for example, black beans instead of pinto ). Second, it transmits the order wrong. I ordered no pico de gallo but it sent my order as WITH pico de gallo. Awful experience.

Please fix!. The app is currently useless due to a bug that prevents users from placing orders due to the pick up time. It's been over a month. You should have been able to get a fix out by now, seriously. I usually give app devs a bit of a break because I work on an app myself, and I know that some things can slip through, but this seems like nobody even tested it at all before it was released. And I won't even get into the UI issues, as they're made moot by the fact that the app is unusable anyhow.

Crash City. Downloaded app and was able to create an account. Then any time I go to the first step of selecting a location and starting to order, it crashes.

Got my order wrong. Changed a Baja burrito to an Ultimo burrito

App is useless. And it doesn't seem like anyone is doing anything about it. After putting my order through it told me I was after the time for my order. My order pick up time was 7:30pm and it was 6pm when I ordered. Is anyone even paying attention to this app. I would also like a section to modify orders, add or delete certain things that aren't on the drop downs. Fix or I'm deleting.

Zero stars-doesn't work. For such a large chain, the app is horrible. I press order and the app closes out. Can't even get past the first screen. Zero stars if that were possible.

Doesn't work properly. Can add items to cart, but get an error about breeding to enter a credit card every time... tried multiple cards..

3rd party tracking. They force you to allow a third-party track you’re spending to sign up. Not only will I stop using the app,But I will stop eating there.

Poor ap. Works occasionally. I cannot use gift cards on the ap. Sometimes unable to select protein on orders. Like the restaurant, would like a usable ap.

Please fix. I used to love this app until this new release which has a bug. When placing an order for pick up, it automatically displays the pick up time with the current date and time. When you check out it tells you the pick up time has already expired. I go back, clear it, and start over. This time I change the time for a pick up in 1 hour. I go to check out again and get the same error message. Until this bug is fixed, the app is not usable

Crashes at Checkout. Tried placing an order, was all ready to go. Then went to checkout, and the app crashed. No, it will not remember everything you put in your cart. I picked up the phone and placed an order directly. It was faster than using the app and the person on the other end of the phone didn't hang up on me when it came time to finish my order.

Can't pay in app- CRASHES. Needs to offer a pay-in-store option because the app declines all payment types. Fix the app or give us another way to order online.

Makes no sense. When you order a taco, u get to choose a salsa. Next step is for no onions/cilantro... Only there's no choice of yes or no there. You have to click no onions/cilantro to continue to the next page otherwise you get an error that says you made no choice 👎🏼

Poorly designed app. The developer of this app has failed to consider how people order food. When using the build your own burrito section the wizard requires you to choose a sauce. What if you DONT WANT SAUCE. Is it that hard to add an option that says NO SAUCE. What if you want to add rice to your burrito as I do in-store? Unusable as written.

Can’t use a Baja Fresh gift card to pay- how stupid is that?. Why wouldn’t you design an online ordering app for your fast food business which doesn’t allow customers to use gift cards purchased from your business??? How stupid is that??

Can’t order food. I’m trying to check out for a p/u order and it keeps going to the main page when I select checkout! This app is useless.

Reward status?. I haven’t been able to find my rewards. Placing and picking up my order was smooth.

Terrible app. Does keep track any track of points. No way to add orders after purchasing in store. And no redemption after signing up.

🌮. good app & good food

Great app. I just finished ordering and was very pleased with the app! It allows you to order ahead by stating the time you want to pick up and allows plenty of characters to leave custom requests as well! I found if I selected curbside and the store I was wanted was not on the list then that option is not available at that store. I went back and selected pickup. Works great.

Can't Order. When I place my order it says the time has expired and to change the time. Did that but no luck. From the other reviews that I read it seems that this problem has been going on for several months without a resolution.

HORRIBLE. I wish I could give it negative stars. It shuts down every time I open it. I can't even get past picking a location to order. Ugh. Wish it is actually worked.

Needs to be more reliable and take Apple Pay. The app crashes a lot and doesn’t even integrate Apple Pay or add my receipt for points. Take notes from chipotle if you need to

Still broken. The time bug is preventing me from ordering, too. I also could not figure out how to add an item once I had started with a saved order. This app worked well before this update. Go back to the old version! Do you really not want my business?

Great!. I don't understand the bad reviews but I got the app and ordered and picked up my order 20 minutes later no issues at all. Only thing I didn't like was no option that I could find for drinks or an order of extra chips, also it didn't say that my order would have a small bag of chips so maybe that could be added to the order info so people know it comes with them. Good app though.

APP doesn't work menu doesn't work. I just downloaded this app to try it and very disappointed that I can't pull up the menu to place an order please fix! Will be deleting I can't use it

Easy to use. Finally an easy to use food app. It automatically found my closest store. Nice photos of food. And my lunch was ready when I got there.

Menu missing (Broken and outdated). All: I have the sads. I love their food. Being able to order from my phone seemed incredible. Then it happened. The app has the not-gonna-work syndrome. No menu displays. No menu means no order.I was at least able to complete the registration (assuming that it sent properly). To Baja Fresh: Ok, first you should have an app. (One star for that.) You should not let Chipotle best you in this. You should know that apps require upkeep. I just saw that this hasn't been updated since 2014. It is suffering from the digital equivalent of mold. If you outsourced it, such should have been explained to you. If it is in-house, you may want to budget for an app developer or two, and some UX testing. Update: The menu doesn't display for the closest store to me; others appear. That's another ui/ux issue. If online ordering isn't available for a location, give some indication of such (either an icon or message would do great).
