How do you pay to access all letters??. I can’t figure out on my iPad how to pay for the app so my daughter can access all the letters... The website for the app creator doesn’t seem to work either. Too bad because we enjoy this activity. It should be way more straightforward if you want my money!

Disappointed. My 4 year old was so excited for this game and even saved up her money to buy it. It was a complete dud. One portion of the game requires you to trace letters by connecting the dots of play doh. This thing was so finicky that it would never approve the trace - even after I did it. All we heard was "try again" ... Over and over. My daughter got so frustrated and no longer wanted to play it after a few minutes. A complete waste of $2.99!!

OMG What a Fun App. My kids are very hard to please but this app does the trick and more. Bright colors, fun songs, and all the letters of the alphabet. Playdoh, Playdoh, Playdoh we love you!!!

Playdoh Crash. Seems like a potentially good app, but since it doesn't open, even after restart/reinstall/etc., there's no way to tell. Don't spend your money until the crash is fixed. In the meantime...hey Playdoh folks, can I get a refund?

Fabulous!! Great fun and educational!. My lil son loved seeing the colors! And as he gets older, it'll be a fabulous learning tool for him!!! I absolutely love this app!!!

Game doesn't work. Game won't even download!! What kinda scam is that?! $2.99 for a game that doesn't even finish downloading??? So sick of these apps that do this an get away with it!!!

Love it!. This app is perfect for me. I love everything about it. The only problem is, when you choose the letter you want to make or match, the U is red when it's supposed to be white. And can we have lowercase letters in the Create and Share, to?

Great basic spelling skills app. This is great for letter recognition and early phonics. My daughter loves creating dough characters that she can squish! Lots of fun and educational too!

Cute Game for Kids!. My daughter loves Play-Doh so I downloaded the game for her. She loves creating different animals and it teaches her colors and ABCs nicely. Really happy with it!

Too big. The size of this app alone makes it a bad experience. Why does an app have to be 1.59GB in size? I understand that children want everything all the time, but user experience is everything and that falls short.

Entertaining AND educational!. My toddler loves playing with Playdoh, but when he came down with a cold that left him too exhausted to get off the couch, I downloaded this app. It's so entertaining, and I love that this is feeding his interest in the ABCs. There's enough variety (multiple shades of his favorite color - blue! Different objects to make and squish!) that it can keep kids entertained for long stretches, and can work for young toddlers as well as those learning to read/write.

Great app but freezes. My son loves playing on the app but it freezes often.

Waste of money. Junk app. Can't believe they actually made this. My daughter almost they the iPad through the window after 2 minutes. Not user friendly at all.

Why do I now have to pay for more letters?. Honestly, my kid loved this game. When this game updated, I didn’t know that you had pay for more letters, until my kid came up to me asking, “Mommy, what happened?” Then it showed that I ha TO BUY more letters. I loved this game at first, but now I’m not a big fan.

Playdoh ABCs. Downloaded this game for my 3 year old grandson. He can't get enough of it. Fun game and a great learning experience. I would highly recommend it.

Play-Dough create ABCs. Found myself playing on this for over an hour!!! Super creative and fun! The kids I babysit love it too and are begging their parents to buy it for them for when their "nanny" isn't around. Good price too. Lots of inventive visual effects!!! PlayDoh at its BEST!!!. We love this app! All the benefits of Playdoh without the mess! My daughter spends hours tracing her letters and making playdoh pictures in the create and share area. The cute rhymes for each letter and the matching game is a nice added touch.

FABULOUS EARLY LEARNING TOOL!. This is just perfect for kids no matter what country they are from and is so much fun. It is super way to learn using great characters and technology. Very creative. Great job and please launch more!

Once again unable to play. This is the second time upon downloading an update we have been unable to play this game. It's been over a month of downtime as was the last time. My four year old is very unhappy, as this was one of his favorite apps...when it works.

My kids love it!. This is a great app! Both my kids are having fun and learning at the same time. Even my youngest (4 y.o.) can follow the instructions. I'm glad you can have multiple users and track their progress! Definitely recommended.

Won't open!. I PAID for this APP and it won't open up plus crashes every time I click on it! I want my money back! :( I have a VERY disappointed 4 year old!

Date Problem. The app is great and all, but to get more letters, it says to enter the birth year. I put it in and when I click enter, in doesn’t work. Could you please fix this.

Great app!! Highly recommend it.. Both my kids love this app. My 2 year old loves the colors, the music and the animation. My 5 year old gets a real sense of achievement from writing his ABCs and creating his own Play Doh pictures. I love it because it keeps them amused for hours and they learn multiple skills while they play. Awesome app. Makes a great gift too!

Good idea in theory. I think the idea of this app is a great one - it teaches children the fundamentals of writing, spelling and other productive things; However, the execution is poor. The portion that teaches kids to "write" with dotted letters is so sensitive that unless the child draws exactly as it suggests and follows the dots perfectly, it tells them they're doing it wrong (and in a very loud and negative way, which actually discourages my child: "NO! That's not where you're supposed to start!") Maybe for older children it's good, but not so much for preschoolers just learning to write and building confidence.

Love Play-Doh!. This is a really great app to take on the go. It has so much to do and our kids love the different activities and writing elements. The fun little play doh guys are also pretty funny.

Lots to do!. This app is packed full of fun activities! It's educational and entertaining. I can't recommend it enough for kids!

3 year-old loves it. My son received a gift card for Christmas and was very excited to download this app. He's at the phase where he has a strong interest in learning to write and this app capitalizes on this. He's really enjoyed it the last few days and I've had lots of fun watching him be excited about his success. I highly recommend it As an aside, I had some minor issues with the download process and the customer service team was very responsive and extremely helpful- the day after Christmas when I'm sure they had family things to attend to. That was appreciated as well.

As fun as (and less messy than) the real thing. Wasn't sure how play-doh could translate into 2-dimensions but this app does a great job engaging (and educating) my 3-year-old. Multiple games included, all cheered on by cute play-doh tubs come to life. Kids can build virtual play-doh letters and creations starting with each letter (i.e. an alligator for A) or create their own masterpieces. Easier to swap out colors (and no mess to clean) than in real life, also can be used as inspiration and pre-planning for 3-D molding. My son especially liked the letter matching game.

Beware - Misleading. The Details screen says this is a 243 megabyte app, however when installed on an iPad 1 it ballooned to 1.4 GIGAbytes and wouldn't install. I had to connect the iPad to iTunes on the computer and delete other content before it could be installed. If you have a basic i-device with only 16 gigabytes of storage be aware that this takes up more than 10% of the available storage.

Rip off. Paid to unlock game but game is still locked. Paid for nothing. Complete rip off.

The letter tracing is terrible. My 3 year old likes to play with it, but he gets very frustrated with the letter tracing. The app forces you to make letters in a single stroke, like you would in cursive writing. A much better approach would be to split the strokes into multiple strokes, like a line and then a half circle for a D. The letter writing also forces you to draw the letter in the same direction as the example, but if you miss the opening animation that shows the path, you can't complete it. Some visual cues on the screen would be in order. As an adult I couldn't get it to recognize my letter p, and I know how to write, thank you. Refining the letter writing would definitely make me rate this higher, but it's a huge problem right now.

1.5 gigs. The letter tracing does not work as well as Writing Wizard by L'Escapadou, and it is almost as big as Barefoot World Atlas. Not worth it even for free, both in educational value and in space taken up.

Terrific app for kids. This is a great app for little kids. It is wonderfully designed and combines a very exciting and practical user experience with high quality content. My little daughter loves it and I recommend it highly to any parent.

Crash app. This app crashes every time it is installed just like everyone who bought it. Why isn't App Store taking it out? We want our money back

Over 1.5GB is ridiculous for a children's app. The developers need to find another method of getting content into the app without requiring users to download it all at once. Other than large games with high levels of graphic detail, there is almost no reason that any app should be 1.5GB in size. It just eats up people's space on their devices.

1.59Gb's !!!!. This app is 3 times bigger than any other app I have. Even MS Word is only 433Mb. Surely some of the audio & graphics could have been optimised. If you are like me with only a few hundred Mb's available at any time on a 32Gb iPad, you may need to think twice about the resource requirements before purchasing. The app isn't all that great for the size.

Excellent App for Preschool and Kindergarten!. I am a reading teacher who works with toddlers and elementary children and this is one of the BEST apps I have seen. There are so many things that this app does right to develop the prerequisite skills needed to learn phonics and reading. Along with letter recognition, it teaches letter sound and letter formation. In the matching section, it teaches left to right progression. The multi-sensory approach to learning the letters -i.e. visual, auditory and kinesthetic - is the best way to learn and this app does better than most in that regard. Since rhyme is a critical component to phonemic awareness, I especially liked the poems they have after the child learns a letter. Funny and brilliant! The graphics are refreshing and the animation is delightful. The pace is just right and the voice is pleasing and encouraging. The creativity aspect where kids can create their own masterpieces makes this a superb app for creative development. Also, the ability for the child to save and send their creation to friends, parents and grandparents makes it a hit for everyone. There are a few drawbacks that I would like to see changed. First, it takes up too much space on my 16 GB ipad. Second, I found that although some 3 ad 4-year-olds enjoy and learn from this app, their short attention span had them skipping the poems and creation parts of the program. They mostly enjoyed writing the letters and then "squishing" the picture which you'll have to understand is fine for their level and still worth buying the app. I would just like to see a "back" button on the pages (instead of just a "home" button) so they can go back to choosing a new letter. However, the entire program is very well-suited for kindergarten or advanced preschool children who will listen and engage more readily in all the fun activities. Third, while most letter formations are correct, some lowercase letters are taught to be written in one stroke which is not the preferred technique for many schools, including mine (p,g,d,b). Some kids seem to forget how to make these letters after the app demonstrates the sample letter.To make it easier for kids, I would like to see directional arrows or the letter strokes broken down into more steps. When a child makes the wrong stroke, I'd like the app to say, "Go back to the top", instead of go to the "beginning" or "first dot." What a perfect time to teach directional words. All in all, I would highly recommend this app. It is very well done, and I hope with such a smart and well-developed app, it will continue to improve and make updates. Thank you for focusing on critical pre-reading skills that preschoolers and kindergartners need to know!

Took my money and ran!. The app won't even open at all. How do I get my money back?

App will not work. iPad is up to dated I have tried his app on two separate apple devices and it will not work. So not worth $2.99!
