GREAT SUPPORT. If your NFC is a success you must keep the device away from your phone in order to connect to network without an error when restoring the wallet. Thanks a lot to support I had no idea and they were supper helpful, definitely recommend this wallet!

could not send my money. the app keeps giving the error below and so far I’m unable to send my money out of bitkey. Here is the error: “We couldn't send this transaction. We are looking into this. Please try again later.” Who is looking into this? It’s my money! Why can’t I send my money? Who is we???????

Can’t open the app. Used to be able to and set it all up but now when I open the app it closes before even showing anything. There is currently no update either? Feels like I’m completely locked out of my crypto

Hardware Failed AVOID!. The hardware failed. Support was useless. Would have been better off using anything but Bitkey. If you want to protect your crypto assets, AVOID Bitkey.

The future of self-custody. There will always be a trade off between convenience and security. The masses will never be locking up pieces of paper in geographically distributed safes. Block has created a revolutionary, user friendly, well contemplated product enabling the masses to get their bitcoin off exchanges. I’m all in on Bitkey.

Really simple, powerful self custody. Tried this out with a test device and i’m really impressed with how well the recovery features work. It seems like this would be a safe and easy way to hold onto a lot of my own bitcoin. Easy to use and hard to lose indeed!

Most secure and simple!. Bitkey is the only super secure and simple way that ANYONE can secure their bitcoin. Every other alternative is too complex.

Great app. But buggy.. The app is great. I love the simplicity and the minimalist feel and look to it. Unfortunately, mine keeps on bugging out. The toggles don’t work on some of the settings, it does not allow me to generate more than one receive address, or I have to close out of the app and reload it in order to generate another one. Thought it would be better with Jack Dorsey at the helm of this. Overall fantastic app, just need to fix the bugs and make it smooth.

Good but could be better. Great app but needs the following improvement(s): - xPub export (for taxes this is non-negotiable) - Dark mode - FaceID for app unlock - Needs a built-in estate planning feature — who does the seed go to if the app is not used in X amount of days / years & remains inactive (such as in the death of the owner).

Amazing Bitcoin Wallet!. Bitkey made everything so simple for setting up and purchasing Bitcoin. All the features packed within the app allow you to take your Bitcoin savings to no limit. The big bonus is not needing the long seed phase to access your Bitcoin and even has a backup if anything happens. One thing I would like to see maybe a live chart or faster updates of BTC price. 5 stars

Dark Mode PLEASE. It would be a five if you had a dark mode. Going from cash app, which is pitch black, to this bright white UI, is off putting. Lightning would be nice as well, so I can move funds directly to my wallet rather than send it to cash app first.

Simple Self Custody. Love the simple design and setup, iCloud backup, trusted contacts, and CashApp and Coinbase integration. My only major issue at the moment is there’s no way to lock the app, which is one of three keys in the multisig setup. This allows anyone with access to my phone the ability to freely send bitcoin up to my daily limit ($200 max set by the app) and also see my trusted contact names. I could turn the daily spend off, but would rather developer add passcode / biometric login to the app.

Great Self Custody Option. I love this self custody wallet. It’s secure and easy to use. I’ve had it since December 2024 and so glad I got it. I recommend it to everyone i know in the bitcoin community.

Traditional or Roth. Would love to see the addition of multi custodial option for tax deferred IRA’s Another great option be to have the ability to consolidate UTXO’s into manageable amounts for those periods of time when fees are inflated beyond the value of the UTXO And to defend against receivers knowing how much bitcoin you have

I’m All In. App design is very similar to Cash App. At this point, I’m sold and have bought into Bitkey and the team that built Bitkey. Especially after reading the technical whitepapers outlining the overall solution. I am also very interested where they will take this solution moving forward. Such as future partners, advanced user settings, or a danger zone section like Coldcard. I decided to opt out of the other hardware wallets and custodial solutions in the market. I do have a backup in case things go south with Bitkey, but I think they are going the right direction. One feature I would love is the ability to export seeds.

Clean app, nice UI, easy to set up. Not much to complain about. The app is minimalist without compromising on security. It’s 2/3 multisig at the end of the day, and a significant step up over holding bitcoin with an exchange or even single self-custody hot wallet. Nice app!

Fine start but much to improve. The existing “utxo management” is a bit misleading. True utxo management would allow you to lock/tag specific utxo’s. I really can’t see this as a serious wallet until available.

Lightning Network coming?. Please add the lightning network

Made for the masses. The first device made for the average person not for a tech developer. Easy to use. A child can do it.

Good start, feels unfinished. Pros: Clean design. Buying bitcoin from a partner is simple once set up, looking forward to more partners. Con #1: Disappointed Lightning wasn’t put in at release. There were mentions of this early in the blog and could have been done considering CashApp (Block) also uses Lightning. Con #2: Buying bitcoin from a partner (Coinbase) is expensive because you’ll have to pay the network fee + an extra partner fee. Yes the process is easy but I thought there would be more integration not just an automated buy+send feature. I can only buy from coinbase now? No cashapp option. Con#3: No ability to view public address. Easy to track a public address for tax purposes but now have to view each transaction as a separate wallet

Nice App. Easy to use interface. Nice and clean. I would love it if the Bitcoin price would update live. If you don’t close the app down, when you open it again it will show the old price. We need live feed for pricing.

Just use coinbase. You have to use coinbase to use it anyway it’s basically pointless just another useless unnecessary step

Perfect BTC Self-Custody Starter. Bitkey makes it incredibly easy to take control of your own Bitcoin. The Bitkey hardware device feels solid in hand and the user interface is smooth and intuitive. Highly recommend for those new to their Bitcoin journey!

Please support more languages. The wallet is great and I’m trying to convert as much people I know from the cryptocurrency world into this wallet however, the app being only in English it’s a barrier that’s very important for the circle. I’m trying to change.

Inheritance feature has a bug. So far I really like Bitkey and it’s been way easier to use than other hardware wallets (I’m looking at you Ledger). However the new inheritance feature has a bug. When I click “Continue” to setup inheritance it takes me to the “How it works” page and there are no other buttons available to click other than the previous page button in the top left. So I’m essentially stuck in a loop. I understand bugs are going to happen but it makes me a bit nervous in an app that is protecting my BTC. Thanks.

Great device and slick app. Setup experience was easy. The device is beautiful. The app is functional enough for a v1. My one request is please allow me to swap the stored fingerprint or add multiple.

So far so good. Clean looking app. Fairly intuitive to use as well. So far I’m liking it and the associated hardware. What would make me rate 5 stars?? The addition of a PIN or Face ID integration to get into the app. An extra layer of security to even see how much BTC I hold would be a great addition.

Thoughts on Emergency Kit. This is the first review I’ve ever written on the App Store. Loving the app so far! I’ve been investing in Bitcoin since 2016. Transferred half of my holdings to the app after receiving my Bitkey hardware device today. I’m curious about one thing though: the Emergency Kit file saved to iCloud. I opened the file just to get an idea of what the Kit could do for me. The first thing I noticed in the first paragraph was, “If you ever need to recover without the Bitkey app, you’ll need: this document, your Bitkey hardware device, and an NFC enabled ***Android*** phone”. It should go without saying… I have an ***iPhone***. How does this Emergency Kit benefit me? Ultimately, I know I’ve been a very responsible handler of my Bitcoin over the years but just wanted to know how I’m supposed to use the Emergency Kit if it’s specific to Android users. Looking forward to a response!

I like it so far. I have used many hardware wallets in the past. Most are easy for me to understand and use but very difficult for my wife and kids who don’t study Bitcoin as I do. I feel like there are a couple trade offs with privacy but I know they are trying to address this. I like the roadmap and am excited for the future of Bitkey. Keep up the good work.

Bitkey won’t let me buy from the Bitkey app. Bitkey won’t recognise my Coinbase login details, it just keeps asking me to verify my account. I have already done this 3 times. I can log into my Coinbase account on the Coinbase app and it’s all good on that end. Not too impressed because I can’t buy bitcoin directly to my Bitkey.

Great app!. I would really prefer to hide the security hub tab bar like it wasn’t there before on the previous app versions so please give us a choice on that. Other than that, I have no complaints!
