Most useful app I use. I have used Account Tracker for over 5 years. I've looked but cannot find a better, more useful account app. I add entries whenever I go shopping or at the end of the day. A few times a week I reconcile my expenses with my online bank and I've never been caught off guard. It's a great tool for budgeting and works better, for me, for any total money makeover type budgets. I cannot recommend this enough. Keep up the good work, Mr. Haley!

Finally! A wonderful replacement for ireconcile!!. My husband and I used ireconcile for several years and were very disappointed by the suggested replacements, until we found Accounts Pro! It syncs, looks ahead, and manages several accounts! I love that it shows you redundant transactions in the month. I get paid weekly, and we have redundant transactions to balance in the month, this app shows everything! (Unlike some other apps). Great app! Highly recommend!

Great app. I would recommend anyone wanting to track your spending finances. This app works as advertised 100%. It syncs beautifully across multiple devices. It also shows your finances on Apple Watch which save some time. I used to be and I reconcile user and this works far better and is 10 times more flexible. Would highly recommend this app to anyone wanting to keep track of spending.

Flawless app. This is what I’ve been looking for!! I’ve been using this app for about a year now… I wanted a app that has “look ahead” When ireconcile was gone I started looking for an app with the same features This is it!! I haven’t been disappointed either This app works a little different but it gives me the results I was looking for There’s only one other with the “look ahead” option now I have 2 apps running side by side I highly recommend works well and I’ve had not one problem

Love it!. This is a fantastic app! I have tried about 90% of checkbook apps from the App Store. No other program stands up to it! Not even close! One feature I would like to see added involves the notes sectional. It lets you scan a receipt, which is difficult to be accurate. I would like to be able to add a photo from camera and insert in notes. Picture in notes is my only request. Besides that, it is a very good investment.

Can’t sync to another device. Since other reviews report the ease of syncing the primary and secondary devices, I’ll assume that my inability to sync owes to operator error. And yet I can read, and I did meticulously follow the sync instructions. So maybe my inability to sync owes partly to operator error and partly to incomplete instructions???

Perfect for expats. This up is awesome for expats trying to manage finances in a few countries at the same time. I was trying to mock something similar in excel but then tried this app and it is the best spend few dollars in a AppStore for me. Not sure exactly how it is pulling currency exchange rates but reconciliation of all currencies in one currency of your choice is great way to know roughly your current overall balance. Love it! Perfect for perfectionists!

STILL THE BEST!. Question: any plans to add a receipt feature so we can add a receipt image?

A Must-Have App!!. I actually believe Account Tracker Pro is the best kept secret in the App Store for a Checkbook/ Personal Finance app! It has everything you would ever need to reconcile your account balances. An easy to use User Interface, Manual & Automatic transaction reconciliation, the ability to make Split Category (and subcategory) transactions for Daily and Recurring formats, Budget & Detail reports, the ability to make multiple accounts in multiple currencies, iCloud & Dropbox Back-up/Syncing for multiple devices all free for the cost of this very inexpensive app. But best of all, it offers the ability to look ahead on your recurring transactions to alert you if you're running short before the end of the month. Oh, and one more thing, it also supports Apple Watch! The developer is very fast at responding to any issue you have with the app when reporting it to him by email.

All I use. I've been using this app since 2015 and it simply works. I've tried other financial apps but none of them fit my brain the way this one does. Budgeting is so simple with this. Every account from every bank or other financial institution is all in one place. I can watch my debts (car, house) go down month by month, and when they are paid off, simply delete the whole thing while records of payments are still kept in my checking account section. And when (as I often do) I decide to change a category or detail group and delete the old, it does NOT delete previous transactions and screw up the balance. It merely puts a blank space in the old transactions. For several years I kept a backup, paper checkbook, but once I needed to wipe my phone and reinstall this from a backup I had emailed myself and realized how simple it was, I tossed out the checkbook. I sincerely hope this app never goes away, it is all I use for ALL my financial records!

Best in class!!!. I have been a long-time customer for years & use this app daily! It is indispensable. I replaced an app that was no longer supported years ago & am so glad that I found this app. The developer is truly dedicated & supportive. He has quickly responded to questions that I have, and continues to update this app on a regular basis. It is very customizable & full featured; I have the Pro version! Best checking account app I've ever used, and developer is very responsive!. I've been using this app for a number of years. It replaced Splash Money, and I've never been sorry to have started using it. The "look ahead" or "future" feature is a great way to tell at a glance if there's enough in the account to pay bills for the next month or three. Recently I had a suggestion for the developer, based on my poor eyesight. After he responded (same day, and he's across an ocean from me!) I discovered thay he had already implemented a tool that allowed me to see what I needed. But he implemented my suggestion anyway. Wow, I am very impressed! Kudos, Graham, and thank you so much for this great app and for all your hard work on it!

Great App exactly what I needed. I wanted an app to track all my spending and income into separate groups and this app works great for groups and accurate tracking down to as much detail as u want or just a general expense perfect for categorizing budget and things like that...the back up feature saved me too cuz my phone crashed and all i had to do was install the app and click on my last back up that was done automatically

Best Replacement for iBank. Was a long time user of iBank (now Banktivity). I stopped using it for personal reasons and because the upgrade path didn't seem reasonable and too expensive. Forward to today, I now need to have something to keep track of a small business I have and I thought the old iBank would be just the thing. But I found the old 32bit app was no longer supported so I started looking for an alternative. The latest Banktivity was way too featured for what I needed and it would have cost me way too much. Then I found Account Tracker. It was perfect for what I needed to do and once I got used to its data entry, i liked it better than iBank. Let's just say that AT is simple but effective. It didn't come with a bunch of predefined categories I never used, it simply built up a list as I added transactions. I thought I would miss having a desktop app (it's coming) but the desktop viewer is actually all I need. And the price and support can't be beat. So if you don't need all the online banking (I find those to be counterproductive and confusing) or investment tracking but want a solid way to keep track of your spending, Account. Tracker is for you (and me). Update: I’ve been using this app for several years now and am now even more impressed with its capabilities and simplicity. It now has a supporting desktop app which is an adjunct to the iPhone app which is great in that I can now review transactions on my desktop and make changes as necessary and then sync back to my iPhone. Of the financial tracking software I’ve used, this is by far my favorite. It doesn’t have the fancy graphics based UI of the many competitive apps but in my mind, this is what makes this app so powerful. Where it shines is the simplicity with which I can enter transactions and then edit them if needed. And the handling of foreign currency transactions are far better than what I was used to. Highly recommend for daily personal use. Highly recommended.

Great, straightforward app. Easy, simple to use, customizable, account manager. I sue it for my bank accounts and credit cards. With auto sync between iPhone & iPad using iCloud, I can enter transactions on one and see them on the other instantly. Auto backup as well. I’ve been using for several years now, and love it!

Loving this app. I used Pocket Money for years and loved it. Then new owners bought it and totally changed it. Terrible. I contacted using the old version while searching for something I liked. I can’t tell you how many I bought only to delete them after a short while. Then finally I saw someone post about buying account tracker pro. I knew at some point my old app would be obsolete so I decided to try it. Omg, finally! My last ios update killed my old app on my iPad but I’m okay since I bought Account Tracker Pro. It’s fantastic and you couldn’t ask for better support. Practically an instant response when you email support. He helped me move years of my data from the old app. This was my second contact and both times instant responses. If you want to track your accounts you must try this app. Sooooo happy with it. 👍🏻 I just have to add to my previous review. I’ve used this app since May and continue to be thrilled with it. I’ve seen a few negative comments about syncing but I have never had an issue. Maybe it was an early problem that was fixed long ago. Anyway, after using it for eight months I couldn’t be happier. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good money app that’s easy to use and actually works. 🥰

I lost all may category and details. I lost all may categories and details after the update. I found out in the website that this is a known bug due to night mode. Other than that this app is awesome!!!

Best App In Existance. This honestly may be the best app that exists. It’s absolutely incredible at tracking finances and syncing with other users. This allows me and my wife to track all of our spending, including recurring expenses and even gives reports. Most importantly it’s seamless in operation and I have yet to find a bug. The developer is a bit of a genius in my opinion and I’m extremely grateful for what they’ve created. The built in user guide is simple, concise and answers every question you have and don’t have. Can’t recommend more. It’s my favorite financing app.

Great!. Had Quicken multi platform until they stopped supporting their non subscription app. Found this app and thought I would give it a try. It does everything that I wanted and guess what? Was able to transfer my files to this app fairly easy. Keep all my banking accounts and iras. As an 89 year old I had very few questions that I had to seek help with. Support was outstanding. Email was answered in a few minutes. You can’t go wrong with this app and support. PS. The sync system with ICloud works great.

Brilliant app... Easy upgrade/data migration. My first ever app review: I love the simplicity of this app, and it has helped me stay on top of my accounts for years now. I was a little nervous about migrating my data, but it was a doddle, as per instructions in user guide. Doubtless, there’s a huge amount the app is capable of that I don’t take advantage of. Maybe 2021 will be the year I attempt to further my knowledge!

Best App replacement for ireconcile. The app is awesome! It contains my favorite feature of being able to “look ahead”. So I can see how my monthly budget will play out! It’s so easy to use! Can’t live without it!

Serious personal accounting. If you want a great ledger type accounting app without all the ridiculous graphics this is the one to have. Good graphics to track spending, pie and bar graphs they are there. But the nuts and bolts of the app are much like the quicken software I used to use on a PC. Anymore I just use iOS devices so this one is the best one I found after using several others.

Replace your paper register.. Account Tracker Pro adds a few features over the original paid version. I bought this primarily because I want to support the developer and his development and support of the app. And the 3D Touch addition to easily add a new transaction from the app icon is gold. Account Tracker can be simple or detailed. I mainly use it as my checkbook register and to keep track of a few other savings and credit accounts. Lots of great features make this a great standalone (as in not web-connected to your accounts) solution for keeping tabs on your spending and finances.

Very Productive Use for Tracking Budgets.... We've been using this app. for over a year, and it's really helped us get more organized about our money. It checked off the main box of what we wanted it to do -- 1 app. to work as an on-the-go Budgets' tracker and Checking/Savings accounts' ledger for all our banking accounts. In conjunction with our main budget app., we use this almost daily to input debits and view the balances on our banking accounts with different institutions, plus the budgets we created within those accounts (e.g., Vacation Planning in Savings). Mentally speaking, it's really helped in visually seeing financial goals be met or on the way of being met and definitively understanding how much cash money we have across the board, can or should not spend, and where it gets allocated. We also love the syncing option, like w/ Dropbox, for us. Thank you to the developer for his routine updates too!

Indispensable. I’ve been using account tracker for 3 years now. I track every cent I spend or earn. Since I’m an ex pat, the seamless integration of multiple currencies is its best feature. In 3 years, I’ve not had a glitch. Highly recommended!

Exceptional iReconcile replacement. I had been reluctant to upgrade my iPhone to the latest version of iOS because iReconcile was no longer supported. After much searching for a replacement I certainly found it in this app. Easy to import all my old data from the bank and get up and running quickly. The ability to use my Dropbox instead of having to pay a yearly subscription to backup and sync with my wife is wonderful! So far I have only used the backup but soon I will setup the syncing as well. On top of it being the perfect replacement for the other app, I emailed the developer about some things I wanted changed to make it easier for me to read not thinking anything would come of the request because who am I to ask for changes to the program. Low and behold, I immediately got a reply to my email. The developer understood exactly what I was asking for and in the update that came out just now the options I wanted are now included. I’m happily astounded and I am so glad I found a perfect replacement for a now unsupported app that I had used for years. I can see using this app for years to come.

Mixed Emotions. This app is fine on the primary device but useless trying to get it synced up with a secondary device. Constant, constant issues!! Thought for a paid app this would be better but it’s not, flushing more money down the toilet with this one.

Accounting Pro is the best. This is the most complete Checkbook or accounting application for Apple iPhone, ipad and MacBook. All data syncs to these devices. I Keep multiple accounts in this program and the grouping function really allows you to organize how accounts are totaled and presented. I have used about all the checkbook apps in the App Store and i think this is the best!

Good app, needs just a tweak or two. I had been a user of iReconcile for several years until the lack of updates made it impossible to use. I have tried several other checkbook type apps. I’m not interested in a Mint type app. My investments and longer term finances are all covered elsewhere. I just want to track day to day spending and sync with different users/devices. Perhaps because I had used the same app previously, I didn’t really take to any of the others I tried but after a couple of weeks I really like Account Tracker Pro. First, the Dropbox sync works really well, it is easy to set up and syncs quickly. Next, transaction entries are pretty easy, although you have to save a couple extra times while entering a transaction if what you are entering hasn’t been previously entered. Also, it would be nice if you could re-order transactions on the same date. Overall just minor annoyances. Everything else seems pretty intuitive. Lastly, I emailed the developer, Graham Haley a couple times with questions early on. He responded quickly and has put out an update in the couple of weeks I’ve been using the app. Hopefully this bodes well going forward. Overall, a good app!

Best Accounting App. This is the best accounting app out there that I have found. It has completely replaced my quicken software. Keep track of all your finances and syncs to all your iOS devices. Let's my wife and I keep track of all of our income and spending. Schedule upcoming payment reminders and income so that we know exactly what's going on. Safety of making backups, exporting data in csv formats to use in spreadsheets. In addition there is excellent support from the app developer. The most recent update added automatic backups. Fantastic feature!

Can’t live without this app. I have been using Account Tracker for more than 5 years. After you get your regular categories entered, it’s smooth sailing. I’m able to stick to my budget by using this app. It’s simple and always reliable. I also use the notes section of a blank transaction to log other information I might need to search for later. Great App. I’ve been looking for an IOS app to replace my Quicken software on my PC. I hit a grand slam by stumbling onto this app. It’s easy to understand and input your transactions. If you run into an issue that isn’t explained in the user’s guide you can email for support and the support response is almost immediate. I highly recommend this app for tracking your accounts.

Outstanding App. Hands down the best check registry app on the AppStore and a great personal finance app all around. Dropbox syncing makes it THE choice for sharing and reconciling a check registry with family or friends and it works flawlessly. Multiple account support, iCloud and Dropbox syncing, budgets, reporting, too many features to mention in detail. I’ve tried many apps that try to accomplish what this app provides and they all fall short of the mark.

Great checkbook and more. I had to reluctantly stop using a previous checkbook app due to it's incompatibility with recent iOS upgrades and total lack of developer support. This app is a great replacement that meets all my needs - recurring transactions with a look ahead feature that is great for budgeting and cash flow projections, budgets, reports, multi-device syncing AND GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Well worth the price; well worth treble the price. I have been using this app for some months now and it has never disappointed me. Just what I was looking for. This is just the app I was looking for. I have been using it for a few years now…It is straight forward, super useful and intuitive. If you are not sure that you can let go of spreadsheets on a laptop, then this is your app! I assure you it is worth it. No ads in the Pro version and not all of the useless features to navigate around like other apps I tried. Great job, Graham!

Many years of use!. This may sound crazy, but I have my life tied to this app! It’s allowed me to spend and budget all my finances over the last 10 years. I don’t know what I would do without it!

Great application with no subscription required!. This is the app I have been searching for over 1 year for! I had even gone so far as to purchase the Apple Developer license and begin to start learning to program myself because I have literally bought about 10 different checkbook apps searching for something like this. -Uses iCloud so that multiple devices can be used to enter data -Uses iCloud so that no subscription is required Those were the two main checkboxes I needed checked. I would advise anyone using it to Read The Freaking Manual (RTFM). It defaults to a reconciliation method I had not seen before (items today and in past are cleared) so that threw me off but the developer was very nice about it. Responded within minutes. You can create your own categories which is nice and I had seen this in other apps. I like how it memorized the payees and I can go in and edit the list. I like it also has a backup feature too which gives me peace of mind (especially after having 3 different apps lose all of my data after using them about 3 months). In order to use multiple devices make sure you read the pop ups which appear when turning SYNC on. They are very clear. From what I know about the iCloud sync, iOS can throttle the syncing so you will want to turn it on for your primary device and then wait a bit before turning it on for the second device. Hope this helps everyone out there!

Love this app!. I have been using account tracker for years and just upgraded to the pro version. It was so easy to migrate my data and there are new options I really like, particularly the ability to close and hide old accounts. I tried many apps when I first started using an app to keep up with my banking and they were all lacking in some major way. This app does everything I need and want it to do. Can’t recommend enough! I would now be lost without it. It’s worth way more than the modest price. The support is also fantastic! Thanks so much for continuing to support and develop this app!

After issues, corrected. This app is great!. Have used this app for a few years. Only issue, which is a real pain, is that synching is not reliable. In the past it would sync instantly between iPhones and iPads. Not anymore. Starting to look at other options. Update: After numerous times of deleting and reinstalling we determined it was an issue with the iPhones. Works great on the iPads. We actually tried other apps and came back to this. Best one we’ve used.

Finances complete. This very useful app offers over the base version unlocked syncing privileges (where one has multiple iDevices), is smarter looking (albeit rather austere), and will be supported with new features as they arrive. Along with the base version, Account Tracker Pro’s (ATP) special feature is displaying future balances. Most finance apps will give historical data and boast pretty reports (as an aside, ATP’s reports boast very useful average account balance/s) yet ATP is special with letting one find a way through future income cycles. When there is a shock to one’s income (as I write, we are affected by economic recession) the app is like a friend with pointing out the impact of financial decisions. ATP correctly categorises refunds as just that and not as income. The care with this product transcends the austere exterior, and setting up a budget to follow is much easier than most, too.

Best in Class. Account Tracker is easy to learn but full of useful ways to manage your money. It just gets better with each release. And you get real user support when you need to ask a question, which may not be very often as this app is also one of the most reliable apps I have ever used.

Still a brilliant app. Glad you fixed the tick button but I think it might be an improvement if the tick button was a seperate box on each entry to the left of the date box.

Best Budget / Account App. Tried many budget/account apps but this is the best. Like as well that I'm not forced to buy the pro version buy happy to support the developer.

Best personal finance app. I've been using this app for several years now to track my finances. Despite the thousands of transactions in my database, it still runs smoothly on an old iPod touch 5. The functionality and ease of use are unparalleled in this category. I bought the previous version plus the iCloud sync, and I got the new Pro version as well to support the continuous development. Keep up the good work. Some improvements to the iPad app to make use of the large screen would be great.

Gets better and better. Don't be fooled by the look of this app. It's been going for years now and the functionality keeps getting better and better. It's simple to use, but you need to spend time getting it set up right. The User Guides are very clear, and you always have access to Graham the developer if you're unsure of anything. This PRO version has support for the Apple Watch, and users are encouraged to suggest ways in which it can be enhanced. I am now using the app on my iPhone, my iPad and my Apple Watch, so I have confidence that my financial data is up to date and safe. There aren't many apps I rave about but this is certainly a great one and well worth the cost.

Best budgeting/finance tool around.. I've been using the Pro version of this app for a few years and I still love it. The design is simple and the app easy to use. As an accountant I knew exactly what I was looking for in a budgeting/finance tracking tool and this was the only one I found that did everything I wanted plus more. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to budget or track their finances.

This Program may not have all the visual bells and whistles you'll find on the other finance apps but this programs performs exceptionally well for what's its designed for. The best personal financial app. The best personal financial app just got even better with this new "pro" version. Now that it supports 3D Touch and Apple Watch, I can't think of anything other feature missing. I tried a few other personal finance apps and there's currently none that comes close to this one. Developer support is also excellent.

It’s quick and easy to use - I can enter a transaction in seconds after making a purchase. And it syncs over iCloud, so I’m always working with the latest data no matter what device I happen to be on at the time. My needs are simple so I’m only using a fraction of what this app can do. This is the perfect app for me!. I reviewed this app in 2017, but since I have now been using it continuously since 2013 (10 years) I feel obligated to the developer to submit another glowing review. It is the perfect finance app for me. I enter my expenses and income daily. It is quite simple and intuitive. It generates just enough reports to work for me. I use it at year's end to gather together all the information I'll need for my CPA to prepare my tax returns. I had occasion when I first began using the app to contact the developer for support and he was very accommodating and responsive. I can't say enough good about this app and how practical and valuable it has been to me over these past 10 years.

Horrible!. I have used this app for months once I switched to iPhone over android. It wasn't the most ideal app compared to what I had on android but it worked. Today I opened it up and all my stuff dating back to December is gone. GONE! I tried to use a back up to restore. It does nothing. If they fix this I will redo my review but I am livid

I would like to see the app expand and do bill reminders and maybe integrate a pay off schedule that would flow right from your transactions. I don't see any apps like it out there. But no complaints. Keep up the good work.

Best app this year. If you are looking for an income/expense management app, this is it. Since January I've tried several apps and found Account Tracker Pro to be the most superior...by a wide margin. Have been using it since April 2016. It has most of the features that I require, and I am pleased to see several features that I did not anticipate. I HIGHLY recommend this app.
