Misleading Subscription Model and Poor Quality. I regret giving AI Clone even 1 star. The generated images were extremely disappointing and didn’t remotely resemble the photos they were based on. The quality was far below expectations, which was frustrating, considering I was tricked into purchasing a yearly subscription right from the start. The app presented the annual plan as the most cost-effective option, but had I known how poor the results would be, I would never have committed to it. If you're considering this app, I recommend being cautious about the subscription options and managing expectations on the quality.

A decent app but needs some work. I’d love to rate this app higher but there are some issues. I pay for the monthly subscription (it was 50 generations a month, you now get 6,000 credits), the credits renew monthly. The server often gets overloaded and your generation fails, when this occurs you will be charged credits regardless. I don’t think you should lose credits for failed projects. I enjoy making videos but I don’t enjoy paying for something I didn’t get. I know it isn’t the videos I use as after trying again, the generation will work. Please fix this issue and don’t charge for failed projects. This app is otherwise a fun app that functions well and the monthly subscription fee is quite affordable for what you get.

You only get 2000 credits per month, vids cost 400, so have fun only making 5 of them for an entire month. It doesn’t let you rework them if it looks ridiculous, you have to use another 400 credits. Nope. I wouldn't waste your money. The images change to filtered faces. The images get distorted and thr feces become distorted therefore wasting your credits. Not only do you pay a monthly subscription but you have to buy credits which I feel is fraudulent. This app has connection issues. Takes way to long to load. Won't be using this app again.

It changes the faces totally in the animation. Before it animates it totally changes the faces into completely different faces, then it animates, so it doesn’t do what a example animation shows and other animations I’ve seen on social media are much better

When you pay subscription it’s not unlimited. You cannot make unlimited videos after purchasing the subscription. You will only get 40 credits per month. After that you have to pay more. The app isn’t all that. There is another way to have these effects called deforum stabilization (run on pc) which is much more customizable as well. This isn’t that customizable & honestly the only reason I went past 40 credits is because even after following there guidelines on what types of vid will work it still didn’t provide that good of results for me. If you’re anything other than Asian ethnicity it doesn’t register & in all the videos you just look Asian/anime with a white complexion even if you’re black. A let down to say the least. I came here after seeing a tik tok video only to find out the guy didn’t use this app cloneai just spammed his comment section claiming that’s how he did it.

Not there yet. Cool concept but the app locks up or spins and spins without explaining what’s happening. I’ve managed to get one video processed in a few days and the rest I’ve tried have failed but I have no clue why. Once their product team gets this stuff worked out and better communication with the user, I think this will become a really fun app.

Videos stuck??. All my videos are stuck as “almost done”. What’s going on??? I paid for the subscription and additional credits and all 4 videos are stuck. Don’t buy this app unless you want to go through the pain of having to charge back the purchases because the app literally doesn’t work.

Quite possibly the worst app. It was terrifying the way it did the edits, literally scared me so bad. It morphs the faces into scary looking creatures. Also it makes you pay for no reason, no free trial- nothing. So you have no idea what kind of quality you will get before it even lets you see a demo. Bad. Already deleted after 10 minutes. Your commercial your advertising all show how perfect these photos are when you integrate them through AI. That is false and misleading. New animations not as good. This app used to have some pretty cool animations, especially that would work with videos for men. New animations or mostly female and. or as interesting. Maybe with the next update there will be more male options with cool animations. As of right now I have no use for this app. The only cool animation I would use is the fire/devil one, but even that changes a male video to female

Pay trapped. I realized a problem. I first wanted to back out not paying for a subscription. Then I was offered 0.88/week for 1 week then when I went to click that to try the app it brought me over. And charged me for a year $50+.

No trial whatsoever. Don't waste your time.. The samples look great, but the fact that it's impossible to test the app is suspect and irritating. If they actually want people to download and keep this app, the developers should let prospective customers mess around with it. As it is, it was an app I installed and deleted almost immediately.

Incredibly poor. I put in toddler pics of my now teen kids and did an age progression for fun. The starting pic was altered so much that I couldn’t recognize either of them. Out of every option I tried, the only one worthwhile was the cartoon, which I’ve done for free for years. Kicking myself for spending $50.

SCAM. Save your money. So many of these new AI apps are taking advantage of people. Because like me you thought you would receive what you’d purchased. Instead you’re stuck in a buffering loop after you’ve given all the prompts. I’m not purchasing anymore apps until they can be proven that they work. I was just robbed.

Not the best AI App. I downloaded the App, I do have to admit that some videos are amazing but in many occasions, it really creates bad content. This content reduces your credits regardless of the outcome. Developer needs to improve this App. Credit should be issued back when content is of bad quality, distorted faces or gestures.

This is not for everyone. This app seems to be based on one ethnicity. I’ve tried all of the features and it keeps changing my whole look ex :facial features mainly , but skin tone as well This isn’t a bad app ,but it’s just not for me personally .

Waste of money. Submitted a picture for a transformation and after it finished loading, it turns out, it created an image of my image to create a video. It didn’t even use the picture I entered. Just Doesn’t Work. This app just doesn’t work and you have to subscribe to try it. Tried three different animations with different pictures and the AI performed nothing like advertised. In two cases, it significantly altered the appearance of the subjects so that they were unrecognizable with the generator struggling most with eye rendering. In one case, it simply shifted the picture slightly. Not worth it!

Dumb and waste of money. The yearly subscription sound too good of a deal. For that reason, I bought the 1 week subscription that $7.99 just to try it out. Whew!!!! I am glad I didn’t spend more than that. Once the picture are generating it pop out that it is at peak hour and can take 12 hours for it to generate. Really? Don’t buy. Waste of money and time! Dishonest. Would you like to see the price, then choose to download? No such courtesy. You must download the app first before they tell you that you have to pay to subscribe before you can even get past the opening splash pages. All you have downloaded is a non-functional advertisement. They’ll have your money first if you want to see more than the ads.

Hug thievery. You pay $7.99 a week and apparently the fine print is you can only TRY TO GENERATE a decent real looking hug video a couple times. Then they say you’re out of CREDITS and you have to wait till the following week to be charged another $7.99!! Do not waste your money!!! The quality is nothing like the ad… it does not work. Got rid of features. I was excited about their kissing and hugging generated videos as I’ve made plenty of videos for family and friends who have had family members who have passed. I paid for the year membership and now I don’t have those features…. So disappointed

Pay to subscribe then pay to use. Yeah so I bought the pro version several months ago. I'm now seeing that even though I paid for a subscription I now am limited to what I can do buy credits. If im already paying for a subscription why should I have to pay for credits to use the app. Not worth it

It won’t reset. It’s crap. Takes your money then doesn’t reset even though it is passed the reset date.

Not worth it. I had high hopes. The first pic I tried came out great and brought me to tears. I had bought a one week subscription . Meanwhile the next four came out increasingly creepy then boom it wanted more money. It takes more than 5 pics to figure something out especially at these prices! I’m out. $9.95 a week for one useable 5 sec video??

Fake reviews, slow rendering, misleading premium. DO NOT BUY & USE ANOTHER APP 1. read through the most recent reviews and look at the usernames of the 4 + 5 star reviews compared to the still frequent but offset lower ratings 2. Videos take 2-5min to render and sometimes they get stuck loading indefinitely so you have to close the app and try again (happens very often) 3. This app is pay to use, period. I don’t mind paying for something that does what it claims, but videos are capped to 10s and you have a low monthly video usage cap. Neither of which were disclosed at time of purchase.

Misleading. Bought it for the animate photo option. Pay my subscription just to have that and everyday during my subscription their service gave me an error to use the only took I was looking for. After my subscription was over they deleted all the credits I had left in my account.
