No sound. No volume on app. I looked for a way to change it in settings but couldn't find a way. Very disappointing. It works on my phone but not on my iPad.

Good. Awesome for kids

Awesome!!!. From my 2 yr. old to my 7 yr. old emery loves this wonderful game!

Babyish & text heavy. Activities are for ages 1-4 (maybe??). The text heavy prompts for parents are clunky to use. I explicated when it offered a URL, that it would be ‘clickable’ but in all of the resource pages, where the text suggests a video or outside content, the URL is not live. (Using iPhone 11, iOs 16.2).

It's ok. I've had this game as a two in a half year old but I got bored of doing the same thing over again updates can be bad mostly because they can be dumb so hopefully it is good 🙂it's an old game tho so please make update good AND FUN bye!🤗what did the update do?I just checked 😡you made me update that for no reason!

Excellent app. My preschooler loves it. They are continually updating the content with new educational and interactive games.

The Spanish version is a little glitchy. The game is basic and it seems to have potential but the Spanish is glitchy. For example when feeding the monkey it says i am feeding the Prairie dog or when finding Dell it mentions Dee instead. But it randomly does this Thats why i am saying it’s a glitch. I am trying to get my kid to learn Spanish so if these small glitches could be fix it would be great.

Did they even do user testing?. I'm all for parent participation but the unnecessary text is a barrier for children's natural instinct to explore, play and learn. iPad apps designed for preschoolers with or without parent participation should respect basic child development and this app doesn't do that. Parents should facilitate play and learning, not control it. If they did any sort of user testing they would have found out there are way too many steps a child has to take in order to play a game. The app defies all design advice from the Cooney center research. Why PBS why? Why associate your high-quality brand with such a horrible designed app that doesn't respect a child's right to explore and learn. I hate the god awful computer generated voice too. Deleting app immediately.

STOP CHANGING THE COLOR OF THE APP. Don't change the color of the app anymore! My little brother has been crying to me for days on end because he thinks his favorite game got deleted because it's no longer a blue color!

Disappointed. I am a speech language pathologist and have been using your app for years. This new version of ‘Playground’ only shows and tells the child player of spatial directions. In the earlier version of this app, the child was able to take a balloon and place it under , over, inside, etc. The earlier version provided more learning opportunities to identify and actually express directions. I’m disappointed you changed this part of the game.

Fun. Good ideas and fun little games for my 3 year old

Well A little confusing. How do I change the place in the stickers section?

Too "pushy". The app was fun for my daughter but I get alerts from it EVERY day. More alerts from this app than from the App Store with updates for every other app we have. And no way to opt out of them. It's so annoying I'm deleting the app and cutting my losses. Yes, it's a fun app with lots of variety but its like the cashier doing 50 different add-on sales. "Do you have our credit card?" "Would you like to hear about it?" "But it will save you 15%!" "Are you SURE?" They hook the children and use them to advertise to parents. No thanks.

Awesome!. 4 year old has loved this since he was 2! Awesome app!

Sound. Did anyone's app sound stop working? This was an awesome app until that happened. I even try to uninstall it

Learning WITH an adult. What the previous reviewer failed to realize is that this app is intended to be used by a child WITH a parent or other adult. Yes, there is text and steps, but if used with an adult, as intended, this is an excellent app. As an ELL teacher, I can use this app with my students and assess specific language knowledge, such as prepositions, shapes, following one step directions, etc.

Won't download. Newest update won't download. I have an iPad mini, update made app crash. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, but now won't download at all. Other apps will download but not this.

Ummmmm. It’s not a very good game 🙁

App has been dumbed down. This used to be my kids favourite app and it was suitable for both my toddler and preschooler to play as it featured different ability levels. Since the upgrade my toddler can no longer play it. The graphics now look terrible and the interface is far too complicated for a young child to navigate on their own. We will be deleting this one now

My daughter loves it but…. After so much time the back button doesn’t work. Which is a shame because my daughter really likes the games. Hopefully this can be fixed.

Toddler loves it but no sound?. It’s a nice fun app and my son loves it but the sound just doesn’t work which makes some of the games nearly impossible to execute properly. I have another pbs kids app with the same problem but no other app/games have sound issues so it’s clearly an pbs app issue on my iPad. Please fix this!

Do not waste your time. The sound never works which makes the app basically useless

Not a good design. Very hard to navigate. Unclear what to do. Hangs all the time. Slow app in general. Not very user friendly for kids.

The app is GREAT!. This will always and forever be my favorited app.
