Great App - would love for it to sync across devices. I really like this app. I have the free version and would consider the paid version if that would allow me to sync across devices. Unless I’m missing a feature, I think I would need to create events both on my iPad and iPhone instead of just syncing the two together. That would be a great feature. And if it already exists, please let me know. Thanks!

Set it & forget it! Love this app!!. Nothing better than being the the limo on the way to our daughters wedding and hearing the most “celebratory alarm” ever and wondering what is that sound! The moment I’d been waiting for for over a year was happening now and the COUNTDOWN app made me smile and reflex on how long I’d been wait for this very moment! I love this app. I’ve got it set for my retirement in 4 yrs and look at it often. The countdown adds to the anticipation of my upcoming “great events.”

Really great but wish.... It’s really easy to use and I love that I can customize it with my own pictures. My only request, I wish it had a small percentage complete/remaining bar/pie chart in the corner as well. We use this for everything and having young kids, they love to see in a visual how much time is left as they don’t grasp how long weeks/months/years are :) . I have two apps for countdowns because of this, I look at this one and I show my kids a “pie chart” visual percentage one.

Useful app. I mostly like this app, however, there are a few annoyances that really get under my skin. The count-up/down screen defaults to only looking at days, where it would be more convenient for me to set my own default... not everything should be counted in days. Another thing that would be nice is the capability to add my own photo to the count-up/down screen. Lastly, the app crashes on me about once per week, even though I update the app when required and am running the latest iOS on my 6s. Other than those, app is great!

Very helpful in my case!. So I was constantly struggling to find an effective and efficient way to keep track of my busy recovery schedule especially since it was stuff with tons of appointments and just family activities... The fact that I am recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury my memory has been a bit weaker than before. I lost big portions of memory due to the fact that pieces of my brain were damaged resulting in these pieces getting removed! In this case I was looking for a great way to Lee track of my schedule! Thank God that this app was free and so good! Can’t complain because I tried multiple others which always lacked an aspect this one presents! Let’s just say this app is “in it to win it”! Give it a shot! 👌😁

Amazing. I got this app looking for a way to countdown the days until a game comes out. It does that and so much more. I went around putting in everyone’s birthdays and telling them how many seconds old they are, and how many seconds until their next one! For some reason that’s super interesting to me and I show everyone (to the point where they get annoyed because I’m showing them too much). The only downsides I’ve found is that the wallpapers you add are “zoomed in” to fit on your phones display. You cannot add a widescreen picture and just have black boxes on the top and bottom. And the other “problem” is that the app starts acting a bit weird if you add too many events in one sitting (but it fixes itself pretty quickly). There is also nowhere to provide feedback in the app, so I have to write a review to suggest a feature. I think it would be cool to swipe up or down while in an event to quickly switch events, instead of opening the menu and then clicking the next one. And adding a widescreen mode when you tilt your phone sideways would be nice too. Great app! It’s good enough to make me want to buy the no adds version, even though the adds are barely noticeable which is this apps best quality!!

Very useful and exciting. I have/had a trip coming up and thought why not, let’s make it more exciting. Sure a countdown is fun but always having the exact times (especially when it goes down to the exact minute the event happens). This app made it much more fun to spend times everyday just peeking at it and getting more excited about it each time. It also is very fun because you can change backgrounds for the event, and have multiple at a time! I recommend this app greatly!!

What the heck? *edited*. I downloaded this app today to replace one that no longer works with the new IOS. I thought it was going to be a good replacement, but after downloading and adding about 12 events with personalized wallpaper (from photos on my iPad) I went in later in the day and all the photos that I chose to add as wall paper on my events were gone! They were not in the new events nor were they in the wall paper choice area of the app! Not a good start, what the heck is going on? **edited to add - fast response from the developer. Fixed the problem with an update to the app. The library works fine now. My added wallpaper is showing up and staying in the library. Thanks for the assistance!

It’s ok but not entirely accurate. This countdown clock sometimes returns to the previous date instead of counting down after midnight. For example, say you have 9 months 7 days until an event. After midnight it should say 9 months 6 days etc. Towards the end of some month it may return to the 9 months 7 days for a couple days until the month changes and then continue counting down again. Obviously, some months have more days than others. Perhaps this is an issue with this app.

Great features but.... So I have been using this app for less than a week and I have found at least 2 bugs in the app that are starting to bug me. First one, I have been trying to use my own photo as a wallpaper. Whenever I go on the app after not using it for a while, the photo I was using as a wallpaper is gone and replaced by a boring grey background. Second bug, I have a couple things that I want to count-up or countdown on that are based on other time zones. I keep trying to change the time zone, but it won’t let me change the time zone. If it weren’t for these bugs the app would get a 5/5, but these are too big of bugs for me to dismiss. Also, the app is by far one of the best designed app, minus the bugs, for countdowns/count-ups.

Great Countdown App. It’s a great app that does exactly what you’d want it to! I like the design and the available functions. My only wish would be to actively share events with others who have the app as well. For example, my partner and I are currently long distance and we both use the app separately to count down the days until we next see each other. It would be cool if one of us could make an event to share and use on each of our apps as opposed to the current share feature which simply just sends a screenshot of the event to someone via email or text. Otherwise, I love the app and will continue to use it. I appreciate the ability to add this to my widget bar.

Overall Fun App BUT!. I've been using this for a few months now and it is quite easy to use on my iPhone with many customizable options. I also enjoy that I can see some of my countdowns on my Apple watch! BUT I WOULD RATE THIS 5/5 If you allowed complications with the Apple watch😰I use the app for counting down the days to Disney trips, birthdays, holidays etc. It was a real bummer when I wanted the make a buzz lightyear watch face and put my countdown app for my upcoming Disney trip as a complication, only to discover it doesn't have one😡 So now, I'm going to install a whole new app just so I can create and have that. PLEASE DEVELOPERS, ADD THIS LITTLE FEATURE, It makes your app in the watch that much more convenient and useful🙏🏼

Excellent App. This app is amazing. I love that you can see the countdown through the widget display without even opening the app. It makes counting down the days way more fun than trying to open up the app every time you want to view the days. This is an excellent developed app. I experienced a crash just now but I am still going to rate this 5 stars because other than that one small crash this app is amazing. Good job to all the developers working on this app.

Does everything it needs to, and nothing it doesn’t. A very simple app that is designed very well, is very user friendly, and has all the features that a countdown tool should have, without adding any fluff or padding to try and add selling points that get in your way. Speaking of selling points, this is one of the few tools of this kind, or any tool app for that matter, that demands no more than a small section of your screen for a banner ad for their revenue. Well done. Perfect. 5 stars without a doubt.

Great app, but... This is a great app, but I don’t get any notifications! I have all of them turned on, so I am very confused as to why I’m not getting any? If you could fix this, that would be amazing, because I have so many birthdays on here and it’s very annoying to have to look everyday to see whose birthday it is. Also, it would be very nice to have a choice for it to be annual or not annual, like I said I have many birthdays and it takes time to put them all in over and over again. Handy to have for instant event tracking but.... ... it’s always off by one day in my book. When I set Christmas for example on Dec 25, on Dec 9 it tells me there are 10 days left. When it gets to Dec 24, it says 0 days left. There is still one day to go! I can “fix” this by adding a day to each date but it’s just frustrating it to have it be inaccurate. Perhaps there should be a setting that can be changed by the user foe this? Then folks could have it the way that makes sense to them. Just a thought...

Glitchy. I’ve been using this app for 2 1/2 years and loving it, but recently it won’t keep an imported picture as the wallpaper. It keeps kicking it out and having a blank, grey background. Also, the app now crashes regularly. And like a previous reviewer stated, an Apple Watch complication would be a great addition! 5 Stars when the app stops crashing and leaves my background alone! UPDATE: the developer reached out to me personally and let me know they just released an update. Back to 5 stars.

Perfect for long distance relationships. I use this app to count down the to second until I get to go pick up my boyfriend from the airport. It’s made the transition into long distance a hundred times better. Any time I’m missing him, I just swipe left to the message center to be reminded of the days going down until I see him. And the format of the app almost makes it seem like even the long time periods aren’t too long. Bless whoever developed this app.

Solid and simple. I use this to track time until trips or other important dates (like my anniversary which I missed last year😬 - now it’s in the app👍). I haven’t had any wallpaper issues like other users, it’s been a solid and very helpful app for me. The interface is simple and and easy to use. I look at the app every morning while I’m having my coffee so I can plan for what’s coming up in my life! It also counts from dates in the past so you can see how long you’ve been successful at something...diet, milestone dates, etc. I recommend this app highly. Have fun counting!!

Fun, user friendly, and convenient. The days leading up to our trips always seem to go by slowly until the last month or two. Then it goes by too quickly while we try to gather items we will need and tie up loose ends like pet care and shopping. This countdown takes away that last minute panic. It’s also a fun way to keep everyone excited about the trip. I send my friends and family screen shots to remind them how many days we have left until we are on a beach somewhere or celebrating together.

Wallpaper option is broken. It's not a bug. It's just horribly designed. I use this app to countdown for upcoming video-game related things, and opening this app and seeing how much time is left gets me hyped. It would get me even more hyped with a wallpaper... that is if the option wasn't broken. I have to crop the picture into a square shape, and when I apply it the image is all zoomed in or something. I know, this review I'm writing sounds unprofessional. But I would appreciate it if this wallpaper issue was fixed. Other than that, everything is actually really useful. It's fun seeing what "2 weeks 1 day 11 hours 3 minutes 50 seconds" equates to in just seconds. Overall, if you don't care for wallpaper, then it's a perfect app to use.

It’s great, minor issues. Overall, I really enjoy this app. But could you please add an annual/not annual button? This might sound crazy, but I put all my Beanie Boo’s birthdays in this app because I am a Beanie Boo addict! If I want my Beanie Boo’s birthday to be exactly next year, I have to add another event for the next year. It becomes really annoying because I have close to 60 Beanie Boo’s and I don’t want to create another whole event for just that one. You can add an annual button and if you click it, you and say every day, week, month, and year. If it is not annual you simply just press the not annual button. That would be very handy to me! I really don’t want to set up 60 events for every year because that takes up time, and time is important. Please add this handy addition because I think it would benefit me and all who downloaded Countdown Star. Sorry if my review didn’t make much sense and if you thought my addition was redundant. Personally, for a ten year old, I can come up with great ideas and solutions. I am very mature and intelligent, not to brag, but it’s true. So please add the annual/ not annual button to the app! Love the app... Hate the broken photo issues. Have had the app for a few years and love it. It’s fun to see my anticipated events getting closer. One of the things I always liked was being able to personalize a countdown event with my own pictures and share it with those people involved. Over the last few months the option for taking or uploading my own picture does nothing. Also, other countdown apps offer the options of font and color to further personalize an event which is nice. PLEASE fix the photo issues! I don’t want to change to a different app, but will have to if I can’t personalize events anymore.

PERPETUITY. I’ve enjoyed having the honor of this consanguineous app. Every time I get too busy to enjoy what’s really important in this world, a reminder stays a memory or a new plan to return to moral sovereignty. Everything from the normal shortcomingsof menial repeats like a hair cut to more important date night for my favorite squeeze, I can always rely on some ticket to help out. One of the best and easiest apps to use. I’ve used a lot of apps since apps became associated with cellphones but this app is amazing. It took me literally seconds to enter relevant information the first time and now it’s even quicker as I move from count down to count down. The first time I used this app to track my 50 day 20hour per day fast I thought to myself “49 days - 23hours -58min - 46sec” NO CHEATING. But my celebration came when I got to 10days left. I’d recommend this app for people serious on tracking valuable events including project management. Madiro

Five star. I originally found this app when my mom got it and an event came up that I wanted to keep track of and so I got it and it is soooooooooo cool!!! It shows you how many years, months, days, hours, minuets, and seconds away your event is!!!😱 Depending on how far away your event is say it is June 5,2025, you can tell how many years away or you can like not show the years but show the months or degrade to days then hours then seconds!!!!!!! Plus it is SUPER easy to use! 😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Fun... But Share button doesn’t work.. I downloaded this app a few days ago, and I’ve already made numerous countdowns. They all look great, and I love that you can view how many days, months, years, where seconds, etc. since you were born or until an event. The only thing I don’t like is that when I try to hit the share button, it doesn’t work. If the developer could please fix that then I would give it a five star rating! If you don’t care about if you can share with your friends, then this is an amazing app for you!

Best Countdown App. I have this app for Disneyland, but will keep it. Why? I can connect it to other things if I had them like Applewatch. Does not add advertisements to the photo of the count down. Can take screen shots through txt to share. Doesn’t ask for 99 cents for everything. Can switch over showing months minutes ect. Just on the screen with the scrolling bar. Choose where to position the time showing on image added. Have it up down or centered. Shows images beautifully too. No wander it rates high, it can work with any event. Thank You so much making something actually worth while!

A great app. I love this app because I can have multiple events with reminders. I have reminders for birthdays, trips, special days for celebration. It was not complicated to figure out which was fantastic. There was even a brief overview of the features in settings. Some apps are so complicated I just have to delete. I do wish there were more wallpapers to use but other than that I can’t think of any improvements. Great job on the app.

Won’t let me pick my own images. I’ve been using this app for well over a year now. It has been great for my long-distance relationship by allowing me to countdown down the days until I see my partner. But, recently the app has stopped allowing me to access my camera or camera roll, so I cannot pick my own backgrounds for whatever event I am counting down to. It’s very annoying because this app has otherwise been totally fine to use. One critique I have as well is that it would be nice if the app would notify on my home screen how many days/hours I have left until an event is complete. But, it’s not that big of a deal to pull up the app to view it.

Helpful. I like the app but I can’t find a way to delete an event. It counts down then continues in reverse. We bought a house and I created the event to count down until we move in. When the date came it should end or have a delete option but I can’t find one. So it stays there for no reason and continues counting, so now it shows me how long we’ve lived in the house. It’s very annoying so I’m deleting the app. Otherwise it works well and I would have kept it but that’s a big issue for me.

Very useful and easy. Getting this app was a big sigh of relief. I have so many things in my life that I want to know how long till there happening. When I first got this app I was a total noob at all phone stuff cause I just got a phone and it took about 2 minutes to get the hang of it. After that I could fully care at and customize my countdowns. Also it is great how you don’t only have to use the standard backgrounds you can downloaded you own and that you can get how many seconds and minutes.

Love it, but..... I really like this app! You can add many dates and count down by years, months, days, etc. The setup looks really nice and is user friendly. Though the only thing not working is the wallpaper function. When trying to add your own photo, it doesn’t not let you take or chose a photo, even though the function is there! It had worked before, but now it doesn’t and not sure what happened. I emailed them directly from their website to ask for help, but no response so far. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Good but could be better. I find that a lot of the buttons are really annoying and confusing. They are also in really weird spots and the icon doesn't describe it well. I would also like if they had more pictures for the background or at least let you add your own photos. Having little notes or something would also help. Over all it's just a countdown calendar app. That's basically it. I do like that you can control how it counts down, (months, hours, seconds, etc.) and other things but there are times where I honestly feel like just deleting the app.

Time Zone completely off. The design and widget aspect of this app is amazing. However, the time zones don’t match up the count down... which is the sole purpose for an app like this one. For example, if you set a countdown for a date that already passed it’ll still say it’s 3 days until- even after adjusting the time to different time zones. I noticed because I had a countdown on the app that never reached zero even after the date and time had already passed. Disappointing!

Missing features. I really love the fact that you can customize the countdown so much. The ability to use any picture and move the countdown is awesome. This app is missing a couple key things though. First when selecting the date it would be helpful to have a calendar pop up to make it easier. Most importantly though the feature I wish this app had was an option to select multiple dates or have it repeat on certain days. I use this app to keep track of days till holidays/ birthdays which only come once a year but I’d also like to be able to keep track of when my next pay day is. If this app had those features it would be the best countdown app no contest!

very 😄 pleased. this app is pretty cool , can’t wait to go on vacation in 19 days 3 hrs 28 minuets and 8 seconds. wish you had an option to change the apps icon to whatever , instead of looking at your phone and seeing a picture of a star with a clock in a blue background that says Countdown , the user could change it to a recent selfie or a picture of the ocean 🌊 to indicate vacation or holiday and click on the myVacationcountdown app (you should be able to change the name too). i know it is a challenge but i think that it would make your rates and reviews higher and then more people will download the app. But that’s my opinion i don’t think you can actually do that but it’s ok . over all the app is pretty great.

Wallpaper Bug. Overall I really like this app but recently I haven’t been able to add or delete wallpapers. I tried contacting the creator to ask about the bug but I was never emailed back. I use this app to countdown to movie premieres and the photos included don’t really help me to differentiate my events. I don’t want to find another app because when I looked, none were quite contendable but I also need the wallpaper feature to work. Hopefully this review will catch their attention and they can fix it. :)

Simple Countdown. I like that you can change it from years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, and seconds with a simple slider. The app allows you to easily put multiple countdowns, and favorite one. It works in the notification screen so I don't have to open the app just to see how many days. If iPhones can support this, it would be great for a selected countdown to operate as a live background and/or lock screen.

Disappointing Wallpaper Function. Great app! The free app was probably better because I didn’t expect much from it. However, diving in for a buck thinking it would be the key to get the wallpaper fully functional (as in an in-app purchase for more features); yet, still no wallpaper function and there is really nothing more than what the free version of this app gave... Disappointing. Other than that, great app with lots of potential! Moreover, there were complaints about the wallpaper app not working based on a review 1-2 years ago also... so don’t expect much from this app or else you’ll feel disappointed. I tried looking through my iPhone’s settings trying to get the wallpaper function to work... namely: getting the app to access your camera and photos. I went through all the usual places and more to tweak settings to get the app to add custom wallpaper... no success. The developer should get this fixed. If it was fixed and fixed right, this app would be worth than its current value (free-$1) and perhaps the developer could make a bit more off this creation... After all, 5 countdown apps in... this one is the best that I have found at this value! Hoping the next update resolves the on-going wallpaper issue.

Fix Widget Please. The app works really well! It isn’t the fanciest looking app, but It’s nice to be able to pick the countdown type (years, months, days, etc) and it’s nice to be able to chose the wallpaper. It does what it says and I have no issue with the wallpapers like others have mentioned. Unfortunately, the widget doesn’t work which is kinda a bummer since I would love to quickly swipe to see all my countdowns in my menu screen. The widget shows up, but the numbers are glitched off the screen. I hope they can fix this so that I can use it to it’s full potential.

Countdown Made Simple and Fun. Easy to use and fun to use and share! It can help motivation with goals setting. Select from a number of backgrounds available in the app, take your own picture, or use your own photos library. You can share your Countdowns with others by a simple click on the top menu: iMessages, email, Facebook, Twitter, Messenger, et al. With a simple slider you can to set the Countdown to years, months, weeks, days, hours and second. The free version has really unobtrusive ads at the bottom, unlike other free apps with annoying and incessant advertisements. For 99¢ you can get rid of the ads, which I did, not because the ads were bothersome, but rather because I wanted to make a contribution to the developers for such a fine app. Get the app and delight your friends with a personal countdown. ....................................... Issue with upgrading: It erased my Countdowns so I had to re-enter them in the upgraded app. Also my review of the original app did not transfer. .......................................

I’ve only had it for a little while but. I was looking at apps for Christmas countdowns but they all were filled to the brim with ads, hard to navigate, and had many features locked off unless you bought a premium thing. This app lets you make a countdown for whatever event you need without ads flooding your screen every time you hit a button. The interface is pretty user friendly and pretty customizable.

Really good but.... I’d love to give this app 5 stars. If it allowed you to view more than one countdown at a time I would. There’s a ton of unused screen real estate so there’s no reason not to display multiple timers. Otherwise I like the flexibility to display weeks, months and years. (Countdown to graduation!) I’d like the option to turn off minutes and seconds. I love seeing the timers on my watch but having everything displayed in days rather than years/months/days on the watch is a bummer. Very nice app overall.

Can’t see any benefit to this app. I downloaded this to track my son’s due date. You can have multiple events, but there’s no home page for all your events. If I have 5, or say 15 events, I don’t want to have to swipe through them all. I want them all right there on the first page when I open the app. I’ll be happy to swipe after that. Also, the app won’t let you delete an old count down if you don’t have any other events. It wants you to edit the existing one. Ok no big. But why make me do this? Let me delete the old and create the new. Also, I’d like to see an option where I can upload my own picture for an event. That would make it worth it to swipe through every event I have in order to get to a specific one. At least then I can take joy in swiping through them.

Not loving this update.. The interface went from elegant and clean to bunchy and busy. Make "weeks" an option instead of a default, please, and make the app beautiful again. UPDATE: emailed developer in April and he said the "weeks" would become optional soon, on an updated release. Four months later and only 100 days to my goal, still no change. UPDATE: Sorry, Joe. I’m glad the weeks are gone but now the icon badge is gone, too. This was sad as I LOVED looking at my phone and telling everyone how many days were left. Fix this before my event in December and I’ll upgrade. I know it’s not a lot of money but it’s all the leverage I have here.

great update! HOWEVER..... okay this update is great, weeks are finally included, there's more space for the long titles of the events... i love it! but honestly what the hell were you guys thinking with the wallpaper library...? when uploading a new photo for an event wallpaper, we're forced to crop it into a square and so the picture will be all zoomed and messy... i know i know, the pictures automatically got cropped into 9:16 aspect ratio to fit the phone screen in the previous version but that was good. this is not. just.. why? that's my only question. a great 5/5 update lowered to 3/5.

Reminds me I have things to look forward to. I downloaded this app when I was depressed and needed to remind myself I had things to look forward to. Since then I’ve counted down everything from trips and birthdays to the season premiere of my favorite series. It’s helped me feel happier and more positive and hopeful. I also really like the count up feature, which lets you see how long it’s been since your events happened. It’s a simple app, but I can’t recommend it enough. Currently counting up from my daughters birthday four months ago 😊.

Generic stock photos only and no support. When I first downloaded app I could add and delete personal photos to and from wallpaper library. It suddenly stopped working. I click on add photo the option to take or upload from library appears but nothing happens when I click on it. Same when I try to delete my personal photos that were added initially. I have tried removing app and reinstalling but now I lost all personal photos from wallpaper library and still cannot add any photos. Tried emailing support twice with no response. Using personal wallpaper is what makes this app so special it not working and only having those generic stock photos make it not worth having. Just want to know how to fix this.

Love it BUT. So the app works really well and it’s super helpful in my case, but whenever I try to apply it to my widgets it doesn’t show any events, when on the actual app I have all the events down. It would be very helpful if the events were on the widgets so I don’t have to keep clicking on the app to see how many more days until that specific event would occur. But this is a great app and I wouldn’t change it for any other. Please read, it would be very helpful. Thank you, have a nice day!

Great App. I love the option to have multiple countdowns at the same time but wish there was an option to have the countdown as my home screen... so I can be excited every time I open my phone!

Seriously. It won’t let me save my events it keeps going back to my birthday which is the wrong date so I try to edit it but it won’t save it’s sooo frustrating it’s really annoying it’s meant to be a countdown app but you can’t even choose what date you want to count down!

Unfortunately widget problems. You can't select which countdown you want on the widget. I ended up deleting all but 1 countdown just so it would show up on the widget and now the widget incorrectly says there are 'no events'. So useless for my purposes. No support email address listed either. What a shame.

Won't keep photos. The format is ok. I keep assigning my own photos from my camera roll and each time I go into the app the photo is no longer there. It would also be good if you could have multiple timers in one screen so you done have to flip between the count down timers, but could see them all at once.

Good. This app is really helpful sometimes especially when you are very exited and want to know how long exactly is really cool. I do recommend this app to anyone. But the only thing that they could do is set the app out better also sometimes the app will randomly kick me off!!

Share to Social Media??. Testing out the app, looks great except the lack of ability to share via Social Media apps (no Instagram or Snapchat to name a couple)

This app doesn’t work. You have to choose a lee elevated event with ore elevated wall paper. I tired selecting myself own wall Paper to start but it just chose something entirely different to what it was originally and what I had chosen. And when I click on edit all I can do is delete pre selected timers until it’s down to one then it says it says you need at least one edit instead of delete. except you can’t iOS 13

Bad wallpaper options. Very little wallpaper options and if you used one from the internet it stretched it and made it blurry. Deleting app and downloading another

Does what it says!. Nice, simple app, minimal ad intrusion. Mild customising settings. Needs to fix minor updating error, where favourite event doesn't accurately update the countdown number on the button. UPDATE: So I seemed to have lost the button notifications altogether. Boo.

Countdown star. Countdown star is really good. It’s one of my best apps on my phone! I love countdown star because u can put events like Christmas, your birthday, Easter, holidays ect, on there end it counts down the days until that event happens and then alerts you on the day. Buggy Widget. The iOS widget displays a past event that has been deleted from the app. General user-interface for the app is not exactly user-friendly but workable.

COUNTDOWN STAR!!. The app is amazing of course every time I want to know my birthday I go straight on to the app. I’ve had no problems so far in the app, one of my favourite features is in the settings on the top right corner you can add weeks to it. Overall I think it’s amazing I would defiantly recommend getting it right now.

Sobriety and Good Eating. Wonderful App! I can have a count up going since I entered recovery. Another count up since my last bout/slip/lapse/relapse. That way I can give myself credit for sticking to recovery, and work on getting this period into double figures and beyond. All with wall paper That helps, and with having the count I want as the priority. WOW - great!

Countdown Star. I personally think that Countdown Star is great. I have been wanting an app that allowed me to have more then 1 event counting down and also that has the years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds all at the same time and countdown Star has this. Countdown Star also allows me to count how many days has been past since the event has started and it is fabulous. I would recommend this to anyone that can’t wait for birthdays or any other events. I am so exited for my daughters 1st birthday and I put it into countdown Star now I can know how many days it is until by daughters birthday.

Pretty good. Mostly pretty good. Like that I can choose the measure of time to count down. Widget doesn’t work well at all though. Doesn’t display all digits - for 803 days, it only shows 03 because of poor formatting.

Zero Apple Watch Functionality. No events show up in Apple Watch no matter how many times you try to reload

Date is wrong. I've download this app and like it to others because it shows weeks as well. However only issue I have is that the countdown is wrong. It counts the week that you're in in the countdown. So technically it's off by a week. For eg today is 18 Nov 2022 and Christmas is in 5 weeks but on the app it says Christmas is in 4 weeks. Please fix this flaw!

Quite Good, A Few Glitches. I think it’s been like this since I updated the app a while back, but listings in the Today Widget don’t show properly, like the text is above or below the widget it’s supposed to be displayed in, and the number of days on the end don’t appear as they should, either. When the number of days is over 2 digits in length, the digits stack on top of each other. Please fix! Also, it would be nice that if, when you’re adding a new picture from your device to make the background, photos uploaded into the app to choose the background would be able to be deleted from the possible array of picture choices. Other than that, pretty good app.

Best of 10. So I wanted a Retirement tracker and downloaded 10 apps with 4 or more stars. This was the easiest to use, with the nicest interface and showed years. It hasn’t asked for money (yet), but I would certainly pay a few bucks as it is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks....3 years, 2 months, 13 days!

Adding pictures now blocked. I really enjoy the easy and convenience and reminders. But now when I’m adding a new event it is no longer letting me put in a new picture. Nothing happens when I click on the photos. Hope that gets fixed soon.

Widget feature does not work. I downloaded this countdown app specifically for the widget functionality and even with three countdowns going the widget says I don’t have any countdowns. Feels like a waste of time.

Exactly what I wanted, but…. Very good, almost perfect, but the small ad at the bottom is a bit of an eye sore. I understand the app needs its income, but even when I click the “x” to get rid of it, it leaves that infuriating grey “ads by Google” box in its place. This is very small, and a bit of a nitpick, but I would much prefer it if the ad would actually go away when I wanted it to.

Great App!. I do love using this app! If I had to make any changes, it would be to be able to adjust/centre the picture I choose to use as the wallpaper. I find I have to go thro multiple pics, edit them to what I think will fit and then find out part of it still gets cut off and the ones that are not good, I cannot delete them out of the Apps Library. I love that you can also count up but that should be a feature to turn on it you want to count up when a timer goes to zero.

Fun excitement builder. I use this app all the time. I upload a picture of my kids or places and the date I expect it to happen. Then I take quick screenshots every now and then leading up to the event showing how much time before we get together. So easy.

Great free app. Overall the app is pretty good and I have no complaints. The only feature I would like to see added is a toggle option to “round up” the hours/minutes/seconds to account for another day in the widget. Currently it only displays how many days until an event, so if an event is 30 days and 8 hours away it’ll say 30 days but normally we would count that 8 hours as another day if we were just to count how many days until the event.

I’m just so excited however, I’ve been trying to find a countdown app that allows it to be a widget in my home screen of my phone. This app doesn’t allow widgets. Great! But I have a suggestion. When the countdown is checked to display as a widget, we should be allowed to choose how we want to view it, right on down to hours or minutes. I hate swiping over and seeing a zero because there are no more days left however in order to see the hours, I have to open the app. I think we should be able to see it ticking down in the widgets.

overall great!. the app is almost perfect but i have some suggestions to make it a little better. i originally got the app for a countdown to getting my new phone a while ago and i was trying to look for a background that would work for it but i couldn’t find anything. i also use this app for my trips to disney, and there are more options than my last one but still nothing fits perfectly with the event. i believe that the app would be so much better if they went the extra mile and let us have the option to find an image from our camera roll and place it in as the background

good app but the widget is really glitchy. the app is good at serving its purpose, but i mostly interact with it via widget. with that being said, the widget needs a lot of work. sometimes i’ll delete an event that was showing on the widget, and it’s gone in the app, but still in the widget and i can’t get rid of it. i don’t know why this happens but it’s frustrating. i also find that the widget will visually glitch out a lot; for example it will stretch really far down my screen when it’s only supposed to be showing two events maximum. so it’s taking up a ton of extra space. i can fix it by toggling the arrow on the corner of the box, but it’s annoying that i have to do that😞 i don’t have any complaints otherwise, though.

This is the best app in the world. If something feels like it is so far away I would suggest this app. “Countdown Star” counts down to something on your schedule. You can put a wallpaper on the background for the event and everything. It counts down by Years, Months, Days, Hours, Minutes, And Seconds. (If you would like you can add weeks) This makes it exciting to wait.

Works Well!. Enjoying three different countdowns on this app (two different s vacations and retirement). Easy to use, edit and follow. Too bad they had to remove the counting notice from the icon. That used to be nice because I didn’t have to open the app to see my favorite event countdown. Now you do but really just one more step so easy enough.

Help... confused. I don't get share with screen shot'. What does that mean? What does it do? Not very clear, nor helpful since you can screen shot anything on your screen. And sharing to social media doesn't do anything either but take a person to the app. It does not display the days until the selected event. :/ 5 star review if I get an answer to my questions/concerns. Until then only a 3 star review. Also, since new update I can't do anything! Probably have to delete and find something less.

Should have live countdown list. It’d be great to have a function where you can view all of the countdowns and Count ups while viewing the duration at the same time. Like a list with the time below the event. With that, you’d be able to view which events are going to occur in what linear order. That’s my take away star. Other than that it’s a great app I’d recommend that’s available.

I’m happy to have it!. I would be happy to recommend this app. It does what it says. It would be nice to have more wallpapers to choose from. My reason for only four stars is that it used to show the count of your favorite event on the icon on the screen but it no longer does. I’ve tried all of the options but it will not show up any more. Amazing App. This has countdowns for any year between this year and the year 10,000 eighty centuries into the future. I like its streamlined look and ability to select a count up as well as a countdown. One is allowed to select one favorite event and there is a beautiful background with candles for birthdays a cloud and beach background among 10 backgrounds approximately. I like this app.

Almost perfect but ...almost is never enough. It's a very nice countdown app!! One of the best out there. Although, it doesn't seem to work on my Apple watch ⌚️ When you open this app on the watch it just shows "No event", even though there are events saved at my iPhone. It would also be better if there is an option there in the settings where you can edit the font, color or the theme.

Happy. I love using this app for when my boyfriend is out to sea and I had to stay back so I can countdown the days to see him pull back in or to countdown the days till I can hop on a plane to surprise my family after almost a year of not being able to go home.

A piece of work!. This app is not self explanatory, it’s a pain in the behind to delete or change an event it doesn’t even come with an alarm to tell you the count down is done it gives a lame text notification, there’s so much that they could’ve done and they choose that? YAWN! It doesn’t even automatically go to days left it goes to weeks which doesn’t make sense this app can be better to do so it needs to make the functions easier to figure out and maybe have a fun ringtone to tell you the countdown is over and make it easier to change or edit events

The app does what it says. Counts down to events. It would be 5 stars if there was a way to see all my events at once (like all the countdowns on the same screen in the app the way you can in the app) maybe I’m an idiot and missed this feature. In which case I’ll change it to 5. It would also be nice to have a way to have an easier way to change which countdown I’m looking at in the app.

Days Wrong. I really like this app, the UI is so easy. It looks really nice and the wallpapers work nice, the only reason I can’t give it a 5 star is because the count is off! It’s telling me I have 15 days until my event but I actually have 16 days until my event. I tried going in to see how to fix this but I’m not sure how I can, I guess I’ll just change the date so it can be an accurate countdown but then my event date is off. Please fix this because I like everything else about the app!

Not bad, but needs improvement. This app certainly does the trick. I would love if you could view all your events on one screen, in app and not just in the today’s widget. Acceptance criteria would be to have it drag on that same “home” page. Pictures would be condensed down for each countdown and also the coloring is a bit off. Sometime washes the top buttons out, so would be best if the mood changed with the background. With time, I’m sure it will improve.

Count down app. This is the best app ever! It is a true lifesaver. I almost forgot some important family birthdays. Then the countdown app saved me by remembering to text them. I know there is a reminder app that comes with the phone but that is plain and boring. That is why I rated this app 5 stars it's the opposite of the dull and boring reminders app. I recommend this for fun and non dull people. Thank you for creating this app!

The best one. I downloaded about 5 different countdown apps and ended up deleting all of them and then I found this one and it’s been perfect. I am counting down until my child is born and also counting down til Election Day. The app also lets you count up too. And it’s not always asking for money to unlock other features. It would be cool if it did weeks too but not a big deal.

Great Countdown App!. I love this app because it allows me to easily keep up with the events in my life. It’s very quick and easy to add or delete events, and you can customize the background picture of each event in the app. It also lets you choose which events you want to be visible on your Apple Watch and on the live widget on your phone. Easy to use. Overall it's a good program. Loading your important dates is intuitive and pretty simple. Although, the wallpaper library provides limited options. I am very pleased that I can check in on events that I am tracking. No, it does not have many bells & whistles, but it is an excellent app to track important dates. Nice job!

Nice app... but. I really like this app. However, I have one problem. I wish they had a time option for weeks between days and months. Looking at weeks, idk, it just makes me feel more pumped up. Does what I want it to. This app is easy to use and has the features I want without a lot of extraneous stuff. Small advertising banner at the bottom. You can use your own pictures as a background. I used it to countdown to our granddaughter’s birth, and now it counts up so I know how many weeks and months she is.

Good but flawed. This app is helpful and extremely easy to use. It truly could be perfect except for one major flaw that ruins the whole thing. The app has a feature that lets you use custom wall papers for each special event. Unfortunately when you return to the app after not using it your image is gone, replaced by a gray screen. Not only that the image you have added to your wallpaper library in the app is also gone, and you must add it again. Until this problem is fixed I will be using a different countdown app.

Good for Counting Days Passed. I got this for the count up function so that I could keep track of how many days had passed since I set a goal. I like that it has a widget but for some reason, the widget seems to be counting one day short. I can't figure out why. For example, in the app, my count says 5 full days have passed, but the widget says only 4 days have passed. I can work around it but I just wish it was accurate. Other than that, no complaints. The app does just what I need it to do.

The Wallpaper Thing. I started using not to long ago and I was wondering about the wallpaper mechanism and so I did an event that was not a real event, and then put a different wallpaper. When I checked my IPad the next day I did not change the wallpaper. This is saying I don’t understand if it is supposed to change the wallpaper or if It’s just an in game thing. Please respond and tell me, thanks! (P.S. if you tell me the wallpaper thing is only in game I will change to 5 stars)

Love this app, but I wish.... I think this app is awesome, it's very helpful and resourceful, but I wish that you could adjus the backgrounds of the events. What I mean by that is that I wish you could adjust where in the picture you could see for the background in case the picture is off-center, and I would really like to not have to find a picture I like and is on-center since that is usually really hard. But besides that, great app!

Love it but would like little more functionality. I am retiring 12/31 this year. I have 53 days left of which only 25 are working days times 8 hours a day which comes to 200 hours and so on. It would be exciting if there was configurations to control excluded or included times. Being a computer programmer for 30 years that’s the way my mind works!

Organized and Happy. I was trying to scroll through m calendar to remind myself of travel plans and big events. I tried another app to keep track and basically it was limited and lame. I saw the reviews on this app and gave it a try. I love it. Easy to use, keeps track and I can send these dates with great photos to friends and family!!!

Awesome and super helpful!. This app is amazing! It lets you create as many events as you want, choose any wallpaper, and it will save automatically. I have had this app for a while and it helps me keep track of the days until an event comes, and man does that make the anticipation even more fun! I love this app and DEFINITELY recommend it. So far.... I live this app. Wanted way to countdown important events. Little cumbersome in the beginning but was able to learn it quickly. Would like to organize my own preference instead of just date order and maybe creation. Some happen every year. Would like ability for birthdays to start over after current years bday so I don’t have to enter again. But for what I use it for, it is good app.

Best tracking ever. I absolutely love this timer. It is not too difficult to set up even for us “older folks” and there are so many options to personalize. I find myself adding events quite frequently as it makes it so much easier to keep track of things and I get instant results. Thank you

Great except time zone change & widget. Whenever I try to change the default time zone the app crashes. Also can’t seem to change the order of them when displayed in the Today Widget. Would love for the today widget to show more than days... when an event is over a year away it would be nice for it to say year and number of months to make it clearer.

A great app. One of my friends recommended this app to me. I decided to use it to count down the days to my next vacation. I’ve only been using this app of a little less than a month but I can already said that I love it. I’ve had no issues with it and I bet it can come in handy for test, important events etc. I would recommend this app to anyone who needs an app like this.

Awesome for LDRs. I'm using this to count down the days until next get to I see my girlfriend. I share screenshots with her all the time! One suggestion is to have an option to share to a specific person. I only use the share feature to send a message to the same person all the time, but every time I tap share I need to type in her name for the sender. If there's a way to automatically set that it'd be great!

Such an amazing app. I love this app. It allows me to make so many special event countdowns and then share them with others. I went through 3 different countdown apps before finding this one and I’m so glad that I kept looking. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think that they should have more background choices for when you make a countdown. Besides that, it’s a fantastic app

Great app. I have put days until Halloween my birth day my siblings birthdays even my cousins! I have not had any adds yet and absolutely to problem with the wall paper.i like the option of putting out own pics into the wall paper. Pretty good app, only one complaint.... This is a cool app that lets you set an event countdown timer and even pick background pictures/wallpaper to match the event. While this app lets you change the format of your countdown timer, it will not stay on the format you select. Every time you open the app it goes to a default view for the timer and you have to change it back to you liking every time.

This App Is FREAKIN AWESOME 🤩 👏 😎. I’ve never had any issues or problems with this app. I love that I can screen shot anything and use it as my background. I can also take a picture and use it as it too! Plus I can see how many years, months, Days, minutes and even seconds this is the best app ever 👏 - Sincerely the app tester

Good app but I have some suggestions. It’s a good app and I like how you can add list of different events. I could also choose what countdown I wanted to see (months, days, etc.) There are a few things I would want to add though. First, there should be a way to make it a Widget. It annoyed me that I couldn’t see it on my Home Screen. I also wish there were more background options. It is overall a great app.

Fan Freeking Tastick. I've been using this app to countdown Ball Python eggs till they hatch, it's been the most awesome and amazing app to keep me up to date and has worked flawlessly for me to the exact day.. and being able to use my own photos as a Wallpaper helps me personalize each mother and her clutch of eggs.. thanks for the great product much appreciated;)

Won’t stay open. Ever since the last update the app won’t stay open. It acts like it opens & then blinks off the screen. When I go to close apps, it shows its open, but when I click on it, it just flashes & blinks off screen. (App is still open, unable to look at anything or add/delete events). FRUSTRATING! Please fix fast.

Widget doesn’t work. I love this app. Used it for years and years so I have history with it. I wish I could upgrade to the paid version and not lose my history cause I do truly appreciate this app. However, there doesn’t appear to be dev support so I am just forced to leave a review. The app’s widget used to work. It would only work in the side screen’s widget pane but it did work! Now its janky/wonky and doesn’t display anything correctly if it displays anything at all. Probably cause the last update was 2 years ago so beware that things won’t display correctly on current iOS

Love but needs a way to backup to iCloud. I have been using this app for years and prefer it to the others out there, but when I upgraded my iPhone I had about 20 items the Countdown app, but it does not back the dates up. When I transferred it to the new phone, none of the dates were there. Now I have to manually recall what I had and add them back. It would be nice if there was a way for it to store those dates to the cloud so they stay when you migrate phones or devices.
