One of the best apps I have ever bought. This hit all the pain points I had while trying to play a song and learn it in stretches. Particularly brilliantly done is the ability to manual track back and forth without losing pitch. Love it, love it!

Incredible. A great app, works just as intended. A lot better then I expected, I recommend this to anyone, I bought the full version and it’s well worth it

Awesome helper for signers. Virtual choir rehearsals stink. But going over rehearsal tracks later with Stretch really helps. I like being able to set A-B sections to repeat tricky spots, easy scrub to anywhere. Slowing tempo without changing the pitch (unless I want to). Really nicely done! My only request would be to allow adding annotations, both text and simple “pencil”markings ideally. Probably harder than I think to do well, but I’d pay a couple dollars for that feature.

So Easy to use!. Hands down my favorite transcribing app—everything is intuitive and uncomplicated. I love that you can hold on a note with your finger too.

Best transcription tool ever.. I use this app every time I need to transcribe a song. It’s become such a part of my toolkit, and if any musician asked me my favorite apps for professional level musicians - this would be number 1. You can slow down, loops sections, transcribe, scrub, and the keyboard even shows you what notes are being played at any given time. Additionally you can import many formats, so your not stuck with your iTunes library, just airdrop yourself an .mp3 and start transcribing. I can’t speak highly enough of this app, best value in the AppStore. Fora serious musician, This app is reason enough to buy a smart phone. I’d give it ten stars if I could.

Great interface, needs “recent items”. This is *almost* the slow downer I’ve been looking for! Great clean interface (i really don’t know why most are so incredibly ugly) and it can read from the local library and my cloud services. The one thing that seems obvious and is missing is a “recent items” section in the file open dialog. I tend to be working on a few songs at once, so why not have the top item on the + menu be “recents >” that opens up a submenu list of the last twenty files, sortable by most recent or name, and then opens them with their last pitch/time settings, markers, and loop. Then it would be perfect! (Left the same review on the lite version and then immediately upgraded :)

Great App Overall. I’m not paid to write this review, idk if there are other good reviews that were paid for out there but I kinda doubt it cuz the app is genuinly a good one. it costs $10, but if u often transpose music, this is a great investment. App has a great interface and it’s and it’s transposing software sounds great as well and maintains the timbre/formant of the sound well (which can be difficult at times) Although, one thing that I’d like to see as an added feature, if it doesn’t exist already, is the option to transpose audio by however many cents you want. The only intervals I can transpose by are 100 cent intervals, but some old recordings are tuned down a bit and in between half steps, which can make things a bit more difficult depending on how you transpose recordings.

Won’t play?. I downloaded the app a few days ago and it worked fine. Now when I import my file it won’t play? I can still change the key and save it on another app and it will play there. Any help would be appreciated. I paid for the full version. Thanks

Dark Mode and AUv3 Please. Love the app but it’s super bright when your working in a dark room. It’d be great to have a Dark Mode option! And while your at it... how about turning it into an AUv3 ? You know we all want it.

Like it but needs better bookmarking of positions & loops. Love the video support, ease of movement on the timeline & note pause auditioning. It has only very rudimentary bookmarking which is a hassle when keeping track of parts you need to revisit. Would pay more if it had a bookmarking of positions and loops that I could name & switch between quickly.

One of my best purchases!. This app has been so incredibly useful for me. Find myself coming back to this when even an expensive DAW can’t handle pitch shifting as effortlessly as this.

Very useful!. I like to play with pre recorded duets. This does a great job of slowing the music while maintaining pitch. Lots of other good tools and settings make it possible to easily control master volume and left/right volumes quickly.

Great app!. This app was suggested in a Facebook group and happened to get some great comments and the price was great! I went ahead and purchased the full version and have no regrets! In fact, just yesterday I recorded a bass line in a higher octave that was triggering a synth app. I decided I wanted a low octave to synch with it, but playing the bass line over exactly like the original would be virtually impossible! I exported the original bass line into the AudioStretch app and lowered the pitch down a full octave without slowing the file and there was very little sound degradation! I then exported back to my DAW and it was perfect! Another great feature is this app will change video audio without changing the video itself...just the audio. It really saves some steps if you are editing a video! I highly recommend this app! 😊💖✨

Needs previous tabs menu. I really enjoy the app and really have no problems except for when I would like to look at my previous projects it’s really annoying having to go back a look for them.

Great app but I want to request one thing. I’m a huge fan of the app, it truly is amazing, but this would be probably the greatest music app ever if you added a center channel filter. Similar to the left minus right option but it’s the center channel (meaning main vocals bass lead guitars). If you could make this possible I’d truly be grateful!!

Crashes often. Great app when it works. The interface is super simple and intuitive. Sadly, it crashes sometimes but seems to be pretty stable recently.

Audiostretch is a awesome.. Audiostretch is a awesome. I have been looking for a video slow-downer for practicing my new and previously recorded fiddle tunes. The scrubbing is buttery smooth and the waveform/repeat region is easy to set. I like that I can access the audio library and the camera roll and browse iCloud. However, I notice if I capture a video through AudioStretch and then export it to iCloud, it only saves the audio. Am I missing something, is there a way to save the captured video file to iCloud? Also, a way to rename the file as it is saved to iCloud would be nice as well. I can rename it in the Files app, but it’s just an extra step. Well done!

Super solid app, except for state management. Just to start, this app is awesome. It’s super fun to play with and it’s also a legitimately useful tool. I appreciate the attention to detail and the UX is very good… except: Sometimes when i return to the app, the track/video I had been working with in the timeline disappears, erasing all of the precise time markers and adjustments I had from my last session. Most of the time when the app is relaunched, this data persists, but every once and a while it will just be gone. This is especially annoying because there is no way to save a project or snapshot of your workspace in the app. Every time a track is loaded, it’s treated as a clean slate. Developer, I would appreciate a way to save the app’s configuration relative to a track in some way.

I've been waiting for an app just like this!. Time and pitch are fully independent, and it sounds great! I can't wait to try with AudioBus. Simple and straightforward. Update: The Keyboard and Spectrum view is really instructive, and there are many other great options in the settings from which to choose. It’s likely years after my initial review, and I still use this app constantly — absolutely one of my favorite, most-used apps of all time. The only feature I would like added would be a Dark Mode (an in-app purchase to add this feature would be fine with me).

Great app. I really like this app. I started using it in 2022 on my older phone, nearing my one year veteran mark. I’d like it better if it had more audio tweaking options like changing tempo and maybe some features like audacity has (e.g. some audio filters, reverb, etc.)

Wonderful. Thank you,Thank You I had an old program and the developers did not update. This is tremendously helpful for me when learning difficult guitar songs. Thanks again. Buy it. You won’t be disappointed

This is the best music transcription app out there right now. As the title says, this is hands down the best transcription tool out there on the market right now, not only on smart phones. However, I would love to see an equalizer feature added to boost certain hard to hear instruments/frequencies. It can sometimes be quite difficult to hear some instruments, due to how they were recorded. It could also be really beneficial to have it so you can isolate 1 or more frequencies to better hone in to the more buried instruments. 👍🏻

Worth the price 100%. I’ve been using this app to slow and pitch down some of my favorite songs and this is absolutely perfect. Not only that, but I can also use this to play the songs normally ad-free and I can loop it for as long as I want. I originally got it for the memes but I’ve been using it for about a year now and it hasn’t lost its value.

Language learning. This is an absolutely amazing App for language learning. Using the Split Screen mode on the iPad, which I was unable to do with other audio apps, I can see the text and easily loop the phrases, which has really helped me with my pronunciation.

More than I need!. I really like this app! I'm listening to long educational content, and I needed to speed things up. This app not only speeds or slows the content, but gives precise control of pitch, shows frequencies & BPM, even lets you backmask if you drag to the right. It saves and posts what you make to a choice of several destinations. Only thing I can think of for improvement would be to add selection of entire directories for play, or make playlists. Great app, though. Worth the money.

super helpful. I often need to work on tunes in a different key than the recording, and this is my go-to helper app. The key can be changed without affecting the speed of the song, and the speed can be changed without affecting the key. Of course any vocals will sound a bit odd depending on how much the key is changed, but that is not a glitch with the app at all. You can also slow down the speed of a song to hear details or play along at a slower pace without changing the key, until you get familiar enough with the song to play at normal speed. I play lots of musical genres. One way that I use this: I find instrumental versions of fav rap songs and rewrite the lyrics. Sometimes I just need to backing tracks 5-10% slower so I can keep up with the bpm's. Highly recommended!

Great but waiting for a tweak. Still the best app of its kind, but I have been asking them for years to make double tapping on the tempo set to 1X (which is helpful) rather than zero (which creates a terrible noise)

This app is a game changer!!!!!. One of my hobbies is that I sing 4-part barbershop music. The most conventional way to learn our music is that we get learning tracks with your part in one ear(channel) and the 3 other parts in the other ear. I have had other apps that also have the ability to slow down, change keys, block off sections to work but the biggest change with AudioStretch is that you can listen to a note or chord as long as you wish as long as your finger is on the screen. The feature is awesome when something is really fast or hard to hear. You can also load your own video and do the same thing there. The other feature that is different is that you cal load a piano bar at the top of the screen. It shows which notes are being sung and the overtones that are produced. If you learn your notes visually, this will help. This is the best out there to learn music. It might cost a little it is so worth it!!!!! ***Addendum*** As I mentioned earlier, I do have another similar app that has a lot of the same features. The one thing it has that AudioStretch does not have currently is the ability to keep a list of files that have been uploaded previously. It makes it easier to go back and forth to different files. If that feature were to be added, it would have everything I need. Thank you again for a great app!!!!!!

I Love Auto Stretch. so my brother got this game and it’s so funny so I asked my brother what’s the name of the app and he said Auto Stretch so I got it and I test it out with Justin Bieber Baby it was so funny and stuff I’m still learning how to work it and stuff so yeah and I play it 247 it’s so fun for boredom and on car rides I love this game so much

Urgent. I really like this app as soon as I seen it I bought it because I need this. For some reason the app does not let me hear any sounds I put on track.... any reason why?

Salut D’Amour by Elgar in in c# minor, finally. Enamored by Edwardian parlor musing. I have a recording of this piece in b minor. I am a pianist, and I recently I found a violinist that can play the solo in the original key, c#. With your Audiostretch I was able to transpose my recording to c# minor, and have a fighting chance to practice the accompaniment in the required key. Bought the full version, and it is awesome. Thank you for fulfilling my dream of playing this shamelessly romantic piece with a violinist.

5 stars IF -------. Can you "Add a display" option to the browse function so it is not the large tile view only and add the "List" style or "Detail" style list option as seen/used in Windows OS, for example? Really easy to use app with good speed and pitch modulation down to the one hundredth of a decimal note/speed. Exports a converted WAV file pretty fast. And exports the original files type with high quality to its original with adjustments. Thanks

Amazing, just one suggestion. This app is the best. I am a musician & use it every day. I think it would be nice if there was a way to queue files (like a playlist) and set each tempo & pitch interval individually. Other than that, 11/10!

Whaddya want for .99?. Been looking for an app like this for a long time. Had an old Tasco cd unit that would change speed & pitch, but it got markedly grainy when slowed down. This thing works great. I am not a Millennial, so I’m not too demanding. It gives me everything I need, and a little bit more, to woodshed the p*ss outta whatever is in my library. Good job, Matey!

Almost perfect. This app is good if you want to mix two songs together, but I request only ONE THING. When changing the tempo of a song, you make it so not only can you change the tempo in a 1s or the 0.00s but ALSO make it so we can change the 0.000s place. Because when I’m mixing a song the tempo is ALMOST perfect but it’s slightly off.

They’ve thought of everything.. Excellent to loop a section and drill it, play along with it, get to know very very well. Markers get saved even for video files. Quality of time stretch is good enough for intended use, certainly not poor. Very glad I got this.

You will lose your loop marks!. Upgraded my phone again of course lost all a-b loop marks in all songs! Without a cloud backup solution that also syncs to all your devices, don’t waste your time. If you have to reload your library on your phone beware that you will lose all the loop marks you have created, which over time was substantial for me, for all your songs. Even if you see the cloud has “backed up” this app. Great program but all my long tedious months and months of work - wasted! Other similar music apps I use were not affected and pointers to the same music files held their data marks. This app then is only good for on-the-fly transcription issues. DO NOT rely on it for a historical reference A-B looping library.

Recent Bug! Fixed!. Recently I have encountered issues importing tracks from my iCloud. Sometimes, the same track would download and other times it won’t. I have no issues with internet connection. This has happened frequently with different tracks (MP3’s). I emailed Support a few weeks ago but hasn’t received a response. This is just a recent issue because I have been using the app for many years with no problem. I will upgrade the one star to 5 once I get a response and a resolution. BTW, I deleted the app and installed it several times. I’m using iPhone 11 Pro Max. When I restarted my phone the app worked fine. I’ll give back the 5 stars to my favorite app.

Excellent Interface. Audio Stretch is quite an amazing app that makes the technical part of transcribing easy. The tempo and pitch controls are easily changed by whatever amount you desire (by either sliding them or scaling up/down. You can play a small part of a recording ‘by hand’ in the style of moving old r/r tape slightly, or even hold a sound to listen to a certain moment of your choice. Loops are easy to use. There is a keyboard picture which indicates the pitches/overtones that the app hears at a certain spot; this is helpful to verify what you are hearing (used by itself only visually, the results might seem a bit jumbled). Start/stop is very easy with a tap on the screen. One note: you must own (i.e. purchase) a copy of the music (via the itunes store, for example) you are working on for the app to access it. You may not just import a stream into the app. If you have any appreciation of musicians’ relationship to their recordings and copyright, you will understand why this is. Do not expect to use/manipulate/etc. streamed recordings for free.

This could be a great app. If they added even a basic EQ to this, it would be much easier on the ear to hear notes more clearly and filter out cymbals and other noise. I see this as an oversight. It would be nice to see this fixed. The app does work well to slow down and also loop audio and video.

Great app!. I have been using this app for a few years now, and it’s really cool to listen to music with different speeds and pitches. The one thing that sets this app apart is the lossless quality of pitching i.e., no audio distortion when pitching up or down. One thing I would like to see is audio scrubbing on the lock screen or control center. I believe it was implemented in a previous update, but gone now. Still a great app!

The most valuable app on my phone. Transcription is part of how I earn my living as a full time musician. I’ve been using this app every single day for quite a while now and am thrilled with its functionality. Really easy to navigate, rewind, and change pitch. The only small gripe I have is that adjusting the pitch cents can be kind of a pain, but it’s still doable. Very well done overall.

Had app for Five Minutes. Wow. This is the only slow down app to by period. I have had them all and have been battling the slow down challenge for 55 years. Cassette tapes you name it but this is SO Easy to use already The scrub feature and the in app reminders are a blessing. Other apps I have used are a maze of settings but not this one although in the Settings section I noticed a bunch of useful shortcuts. I wish Ableton had the scrub feature. Thanks so much guys.

Practically Perfect. This is exactly what I needed for my playlist. Sometimes I want to listen but don’t have time so I had to speed things up and also definitely helps me memorize things with the A B labels & loop. The ONLY issue I have so far on ios 12, sometimes it neither will let me do the shortcut swipe on top to change to next track on my playlist nor change it manually below even with the next track feature button enabled, happens randomly.

Variable speed shift feature request. This app is great; but it’d be even better if it had the option to snap the speed and pitch together; so that variable seed shift would be available!

Try It, YOU WILL BUY IT!. AnytunePro+ was my go-to prior to finding this app. Ability to operate in reverse with modified pitch and/or speed, exports in wav, can manually control playback by touch, etc. This program is AMAZING! Only way they could make this better is to allow live recording if you were so inclined to toy around. But that's an unnecessary geek request. Just try it, you will buy it.

Well done!. I really like the app. So far so good. One thing I would like to see is possibly detecting the bpm of the beat and translating it to actually number values. Since I produce, I know the bpm and key my songs are in so I can still figure what I’m changing it to but for songs I haven’t produced, it’d be a little more difficult to figure out without this.

Dropbox connect not reliable. I love this app and would absolutely give it 5 stars except for the problems loading songs from Dropbox. It will typically work well for several song loads and them when I go to load another song, it hangs and hangs and hangs, sometimes finally displaying a file list after several minutes and sometimes never, requiring the app to be killed off, and sometimes that doesn’t even resolve the problem for some period of time. I have another similar app that can load songs from Dropbox very reliably so it’s not an iPad, network or Dropbox issue.

App won’t work with Garage Band. I am attempting to mess around with some songs I have created and saved in Garage Band but when I go to import the files, the app tells me the song isn’t available on the device. Help?

I’m a professional jazz musician this app is excellent!. One of my favorite apps I used to use to transcribe music was discontinued, and I could not reinstall it on my new iPad, so I was looking for a good transcribing app to replace it, and was not impressed with most other ones I found, until I found this app, the slow down works excellently, and does not distort pitch the way other inferior apps do that I found on the App Store. It’s easy to use and totally worth the $10 highly recommend for serious professionals trying to transcribe complicated music!

Great for language learning. Lets you slow down audio and scrub it. Perfect for learning speech in another language.

Video disappears app switching. The full screen video still disappears when app switching then coming back to this app. Unfortunately this update hasn’t fixed that problem and the app is still frustrating to use because of it. Otherwise it’s a excellent app and very well made.

Cool. Nice app. Very handy for playing backing songs in the key I like.

Add more share options. Add more share options such as Google drive, iCloud Drive, and other cloud storages. The rest is just brilliant.

Fantastic app. Works really well. A big help for anyone learning a musical instrument. Highly recommend it.

Works as it should. I’ve been using this for years ... works as advertised, a rare occurrence with these apps Thanks

Excellent. Excellent App for time and pitch stretching plus so many other useful features.

Really useful!. So useful for transcribing and practising difficult parts, as well as shifting pitch for different instruments. Only complaint would be it would be good to have a recent or favourites list to access frequently used tracks quickly.

Great app. I love this app. I really hope it will be maintained because it is very useful and easy to use. I have used the classic Amazing Slow Downer on my desktop and laptops for years but I think AudioStretch is even better in some ways. I love the capacity to manually scroll through the waveform via touchscreen; this reminds me of cueing tracks on an LP record and works better for me at times than just having an auto play loop on repeat.

An incredible surprise. AudioStretch is great for working out chords for songs. The keyboard at the top is indispensable. A great find!

Great audio app!. Wonderful app. Import audio clip and manipulate like mad. Export to your fav DAW. Really fun and useful app.

No Save. Very handy for on-the-go transposition - wish there was a 'save as' feature.

Killer app. Audiostretch is beautiful, fun, supported(!!), and best of all, works as advertised. Fave app to mess around with

A must-have tool.. Elegant and uncluttered UI, a simplicity that just works. Still the best of its type.

Excellent App for teachers, musicians, students to practice with. After buying so many Apps to slow and speed up music, changing keys etc., this is the best App I've found today to be useful but more importantly, the sound quality is maintained throughout all the changes made. I shall recommend this App for my students and musician friends. The cost is very reasonable too. Great App! Highly recommended! Thank you to the creators...well done Andrew

The best. Easily the best app for changing audio tempo and key. Extremely easy to use and very good quality playback for slow tempos. Looping is accurate - ideal for the practice room and the Music classroom. Please add a record audio (without video) and export function!

Super useful. My daughter just used this to quickly learn the sax part of Careless Whisper. Way faster than manually going back and replaying each part. Btw it has a great Latin vibe when played at 160% speed. :-)

Amazing. Haven’t found anything like it. Distinctive feature: import from recorded video 👌

Great App !. Fantastic app until today...latest update and now it won’t load any mp3 or video files.

Great for learning to play along songs. This app is great to learn to play along your favourite song. It can slow down the song without changing the pitch. The speed can be adjusted so one can learn at their own speed. You can also put markers in the song and let it loop within the markers in order to practice a specific part of the song without having to stop and rewind manually. Overall, it's a great learning tool to help you play your favourite song!

Cool app! Does everything it claims.. Title says it all. I'm using an iPhone 4 and iOS 6.

Great app. This app does exactly what it claims: it takes any song in your itunes library and allows you to adjust the speed (slower and faster) of any song. There really isn't any issue with the pitch at all, almost like it was originally recorded at that speed. There is a rudimentary loop function you can use too, to help focus on certain passages

The only app you need for figuring out solos...period!. I don't usually write reviews, but I have been using AudioStretch for only a few days and I have to say this is the single most powerful tool for figuring out solos and fast/complex passages I have ever used! As of this writing, the guys at AudioStretch just added markers and I can now say this app is as close to simple perfection as you can get. No matter how much "better" technology gets, this app will remain a important piece in my toolbox for this purpose. If you pride yourself as the type of person that learns songs, solos and riffs by ear, you need this app!!

Perfect for practicing. I use it a lot to practice choir scores, learn guitar solos, etc. It’s a perfect piece of software.

Perfection of the Infinite Technique Chromium Squared. This app is perfect for learning songs note for note and more! It has many functions and controls that serve a variety of needs and capabilities. In all honesty this is a well thought out app and you’ll agree when you download and use it. Simple Beautiful and Works Perfect! This app is one that deserves a review. :)

Merci. Très bon pour trouver les notes exact

It doesn’t work anymore on iPadOS 14. Please fix this

Awesome app. Great tool for learning to play music by ear, slows down the music without unwanted noise

A marvelus app but with a silver line. i can say that this is the best app for changing playback speed.I've been searching such an app since long a go. But it has two big weak points: 1-after it reaches the 3th minute of each song, it stop playing and want you to buy it otherwize you can not listen to the rest of the song or audio. Tha means it is not a free app. 2-all the time when you have finished listening to an audio, it brings you back to all songs; not the playlist.

Yum. It’s good very yummy food 😋

Perfect!. Does exactly what it says. Super responsive playback. Quality at slow speed is great for transcription. Nice one!

EQ would be perfect. Great app. 5th star if you add an EQ

Audio Stretch. Wow! This is an elegant program. I’ve been publishing single line melody music books (fiddle music) for 40 years and have always used technology to assist my transcription process. First it was half speed using reel-to-reels which maintained pitch (albeit an octave down) but sound was abysmal at half spend. Next it was pitch control on cassettes which allowed less dramatic speed changes making it slight more musical - but you had to constantly retune your instrument. I became a Mac user in 1987 and for many years I used a Program called Transcribe which allowed creation of loop points and transposition of keys. Fidelity suffered and fine tuning was not an option. Eventually Transcriber appeared ... a full function Mac OS X program which I continue to use. By its simplicity Audio stretch takes it further .... now you can easily adjust the pitch and duration of a clip and email it to a friend/student without the use of another application. Stop-start by tapping the screen is a great part of the intuitive interface however, by reflex (from years of desktop use where the keyboard space bar acts as a toggle switch for pause-start (the universal audio keystroke (from Pro Tools to Transcribe) I’d like to be able to use my keyboard My iPad Pro uses a Smart Keyboard which also serves as its stand ...assuming Apple hasn’t blocked the possibility to make app specific keystrokes... then my request to use the space bar, should be an easy fix. This should work for all iPads (including ones using older Bluetooth keyboards) Thanks for a great stable app Paul Cranford cranfordpub.com

Awesome tool. This is a great way to analyse, transcribe, and practice music. Now that I've seen a what it can do I can't imagine being without it.

Very useful software. I use it frequently to practice guitar. Functionality and quatily is excellent.

Best music App in its class. Use it constantly to learn new vocal harmonies and retune and change speed of MP3 or wav. for performance.

Excellent!. Perfect for karaoke and backing tracks etc. We had to find a backing track for my daughter but the original wasn't in her vocal range. Now we can make any track work for her! Would love to have more options added for exporting the song, like saving it straight into the music library or Dropbox.

Great App. Fantastic app, works great with no bugs, very helpful in learning to play music!

Nice. Nice

Amazing. This is the best app (or program for that matter, I haven’t used anything better on a computer) I have found for transcribing jazz solos. Intuitive, easy to use, smooth interface, and very effective. You can actually ‘grab’ the sound and - for example - hear every note in a strummed guitar chord. Perfect. Could use a ‘favourites’ or ‘recent files’ button in a future update.

JimGood. Haven't been using it for long, but so far it's done everything I've needed it to do! Was looking for an iOS equivalent of Transcribe, this seems to fit the bill. Gerry was also very quick to get back to me with support. Only suggestion might be the ability to drag/slide the loop markers, but that's it so far.

It works and it also works. Simple app that promises certain features that it does as advertised. Isn't it strange that increasing the tempo of a recording in most other apps also raises the pitch. And raising the pitch involves an increase of tempo. I never got that. This app only does what you ask it to. Raising the tempo does just that, only. When increasing the pitch, the tempo stays as it was. There are a bunch of other cool settings. Excellent app! Handy for music makers who want to play around with sound and have control.

Fiddle studend. This app replaces audacity when away from my PC, and does its task very well.

Brilliant Utility App, and really, much more.... If you are a musician in need of an Audio Breakdown/Analysis Tool for Pitch and Phrasing and your Audio source is good enough to be worthy of this beast, then it is one of THE great bargains for musicians. It is also capable of doing so much more than that if connected to an Output Source in Audiobus...where it has the potential for exceedingly cool experimentation. Audio Artifacts are negligible, even at 5x sped up or slowed down, and the touch wav file play option is similarly perfectly implemented. If you are a musician working in OSX or PC and do not know about some of the things that are available to you in the iOS system, time to investigate and get over the idea that great Audio Production, Synthesis, Audio Processing, Instrumentation, Audio Tracking cannot be done on an iPad. Get yourself a copy of Audiobus, and start discovering the hundreds of fantastic value Audio tools available to you for a tenth of what you would pay for the Desktop Counterparts...

Great. Finally. everything you need. Slows down and loops. Worth every penny.

Useful!. This app does a utilitarian job at pitch shifting and time stretching for purposes like picking up lyrics and music transcription. It does not do high quality, as that's typically off line even on desktop computers. One negative: a $2.99 app becomes free, but time limited to 2 minutes, unlocked with a $3.99 IAP...

One of most useful apps for a musician that is out there!. If you are a musician and are looking for a tool to help you transcribe those really fast solos, look no further - this app is indispensable and is an amazing time saver. It works exactly as you would expect it to and has the functionality you need to slow down the speed of the music, which you may easily load from your music library, without changing the pitch, scrub back and forth or loop over difficult passages until you can get the notes. It also displays a piano keyboard that indicates the notes (frequencies) at a given point in time as the music is playing. Truly a phenomenally useful and well designed app! Thank you so much!

Video slow downer!. This app is great for slowing down and looping videos. If you like Amazing Slow Downer for audio you’ll love this for videos.

BOY HOWDY!. This app has the goods. It is all that and a bag of chips. I've been an audio file for well over 50 years, and I've never seen The likes of this app. It is just something else. I can listen to foreign-language songs slowed down, so that I can get the correct pronunciation of words and phrases. Also, I can simply understand what it is they're saying so much better. It's really helping me in my quest to learn Korean. Also, it is truly amazingto listen to songs made into ballads – it's just wonderful & you just have to buy this app to understand what I mean. Listening to my music through this app has made my music library brand-new, especially the ballad tracks, and lush orchestrals. I seldom review an app without being asked to, but this one really merits the effort. I really love it, and I don't even know how to fully use it yet. A hearty thank you to the developers.

oooo. add an equalizer

Final Update. My bad....again. Seems my original PC's e-mail to this App's developer, Gerry Beauregard, got Mac-rejected, and thus somehow lost in the shuffle. Once it turned up, Gerry immediately contacted me, updating me on the history of the App, the revisions in progress, the newer applications for professional musicians, broadcasters, etc., etc. He was extremely responsive to my suggestions (all of which were already in the works to bring this incredible app to even broader appeal), and has many new additions planned. This has turned out to be a five star product from a five star developer.....it deserves a five star review. Dr. K.

Best app of its kind!. I've tried several of the slowdowner type apps on the app store, and this one is by far my favorite. The thing that really sets this one apart is the user-friendly interface. I am able to get this to do what I want with a minimum of button pushing. I also found out that you can open dropbox files with this app by opening the track in the dropbox app, and then pressing the "open with AudioStretch" button. This app is a really great bargain too!

Great Pitch Shifting. Beautifully designed with great pitch shifting ... highly recommended for anyone wanting to experiment with time and frequency manipulation.

Great app. This app was cool when they first released it, and they keep improving it. Great sound quality, very easy to use. It is good for learning songs or creating new sounds out of existing songs. But my favorite thing is just listening to favorite songs at different speeds or in different keys to experience them in a new way. Kind of like playing a vinyl at the wrong speed, but with more options. Another thing I like to do with it is listen to lectures (I download a lot of lectures and books on tape). Sometimes you have a teacher who talks to fast or too slow, and this was you can adjust the speed. Maybe you have a professor with a squeaky annoying voice-- pitch it down. Makes it easier for me to pay attention.

Volume?. Fun app until volume stopped working... no there is no sound. I hope they figure this bug out because I’m using the version that cost $$$

The ability to import ringtones.. The ability to import ringtones would be very nice

CAN YOU GUYS MAKE A REVERSE PLAY. Can you guys make it so I can play stuff backwards

H. Muy buen

No Videos. Again!!;!!;!

Reverse feature?. This is a great app, i’d really appreciate an added feature to be able to play the track and export in reverse

Legit. Hip and Handy tool. Used on each of my devices.

Really love this app. Great for transcribing and learning songs by ear. So useful!

endless around the world by daft punk. great app, created endless around the world by daft punk and haven’t slept in days

Amazing, easy to use!! Flawless. Wow, this app hands down crushed all the competition. It is the best at what it does and it is so helpful in transcribing, looping and learning music. It also has cloud support for Google Drive, Dropbox, one drive and others. It has so many other cool features and it has worked flawlessly for me every time I use it. I highly recommend getting this amazing app AudioStretch. To the developer, One thing I think would be a very useful addition to audiostretch. Is if it would display or spell out the root note and keep an active ledger or display of the root notes listed above the wave form. I realize the keyboard at the top has the note information, but I think to have it listed as well would be incredibly beneficial.

one fr gripe. make a dark mode its too bright when im in my studio

Missing features. Where is MIDI? Should have at least the ability to sync to an external MIDI sequencer app or actually have it's own built-in sequencer so that it can transcribe audio tracks into MIDI tracks. Without those features, this app is pretty limited for what it costs to buy.

Simple and yet. Awesome. Works perfectly

Drummer approved!. Love this app, as a drummer who sometimes plays complex covers it’s perfect for learning difficult parts and listen to the details by slowing it down!

Good. Uaoooo

Works great. Does exactly what it says. Slows audio down with out changing pitch unless you want. Very interesting and useful.

Best App for Sampling and Manipulation. All it needs is dark mode!

great but cant import video files from my library and movies. great but cant import video files from my library and movies folder hope it can be read any types of video files for the next update

Best Game Ever!. It has different pitches!

Great App!. So, right of the bat. I love this app.

Doesn’t seem to work for me. Can’t seem to get any real help...$9.99 for nothing

unbelievable. just paid 9.99 for this app so i could hopefully screen record videos while i scrub because it’s hilarious but it still wont let you even after you pay for it. sad.

Incredible. The best tool I’ve ever used, mobile or otherwise, for learning songs on guitar/piano by ear, without a close second.

Very Cool App. I will admit, AudioStretch is a very cool app. But, I would like to see a reverb and/or bass/treble adjuster added on to the bar where the pitch and speed adjusters are. Other than that, this is a great app

Good app. Use it for editing. Works great!

I need this. Thanks Devs. Keep it up.

Great with learning tracks. We use CD audio learning tracks with our part dominant to learn our parts. AudioStretch is invaluable in slowing fast section and to easily repeat sections. Love it!!!

App does not play sound. The lite version played my audio files just fine. After wanting to play longer files I decided to upgrade for the 10 dollars. None of my audio files played on the upgraded version. I emailed customer support and did not receive a response.

Almost Perfect. I love this app! I wish we could use it in landscape mode with only video and keyboard showing. I don’t think the sound wave bar is needed in landscape mode. It is good for portrait mode though.

Simple and to the point. It took me a while to find this app, but it's just what I was looking for. This app allows you to select a song from your iphone and then select a section of the song and loop it at any tempo and at any pitch. It's free and without ads. I use it for improv practice. I record 1-bar snippets of some backup rythmn instrument on my computer, and then I loop it and practice improvising over the loop. I would suggest one small improvement: It would be nice if, by default, the app placed the A and B markers at the beginning and end of the file when you first open it. But, it's not too bad even without that feature because the app at least remembers where you put the markers the next time you open the song. Very nice!

Awesome love this app. This app is great I use with mp4juice and ifiles that’s how you do it

SaVaGELifE. If I knew how to work it id give it 5 stars star 🌟z

New update crash. Latest version causes the app to crash whenever I pause app in the background please fix.

Decent. It’s good. I just wish they wouldn’t do all the yo-yo pricing shenanigans.

Count this indispensable. Those essential apps for any iOS musician, everybody knows them: Audiobus, Audioshare, Midibridge. I'm here to say that that there's a new essential in town, and it's no other than Audiostretch! The quality of the pitch-shifting, and the artifact-free time-stretch is superb. As a utility that is its first caveat. As a creative tool, it can reveal a universe of beautiful sound you never would have expected in the short or long audio file you've loaded. The live scrubbing is a great joy, and it has phenomenal integration with Audiocopy and the bus, so there are no hassles or workarounds...almost. I've imported several bpm specific loops, and both transposed and shifted it. If there were a simple calculator that could indicate the new bpm (with the original bpm of course being known by the user), this would really be logical as further development. Audiostretch is the foremost shifting, pitching, and stretching tool for iOS, and as such would reward users tremendously with a bpm clock. I hope the developer will take this request into consideration :)

Mmm is ok. Idk

Meh.. Not quite Paulstretch (actually, not even close) but for simple, un-nuanced timestretches of mostly tonal/harmonic [not beats; think pads] content - THIS is the bomb!

Awesome App. Love it. Use it every day to learn and practice songs and guitar leads.

Quite possibly my favourite app.. As a musician, this is quite possibly my favourite app. The potential for transcribing and by-ear learning is nearly endless, and every update to the app improves both the functionality and aesthetic appeal. I would highly recommend this to any musician or audiophile. If the developers were to see this, one of my only suggestions would be this: it'd be fantastic if, when a video is open, there was a button to rotate the video horizontally (entering full screen,) giving you more viewing room. Depending on the video, it can be difficult to see certain things that you might be watching for. You could allow for rotation of the video (full-screen) with a tap-to-play/pause function, and double-tap or tap-and-hold to toggle the UI function.

It’s a real gem. Love it!. Being a musician, I have tried quite a number of music apps on iTunes. But it’s been a while since I have stumbled upon something that made me go “wow”. The AudioStretch is exactly what I’ve been looking for, and its simplicity makes it even more brilliant. I especially love the ability to drag the waveform back and forth, or even “freeze” it. It makes me feel like I have perfect control over the music I study. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Love this software. Use this all the time for slowing down a song to learn and moving key up or down for vocals.
