Bad. Does not work

How it works?. I spoke. I pulled guitar strings. I put in earphone. This app does not respond. A waste of money? A fraud - do not know yet.

There are no instructions. You open the app, there's a picture of a piano, the keys are all lighting up, back-and-forth very quickly there's no sound. When you talk the pitch detector goes up and down but there are no instructions on how to use this app. Am I supposed to play the radio and sing along with it? I don't understand. right now I feel like I wasted 2 dollars

Newbie review. Okay! I have no real business reviewing this app as I am a brand new student to music (I played trumpet years ago but have forgotten everything, so I had to start over from scratch). I gave the app 3 stars because it definitely analyzes pitch (and seems to do so very well), but there is no way to review a session, current or past, so I'm struggling with understanding how to make this a helpful app. I need to be able to look at the whole picture (combining acoustic guitar and my singing) in order to figure out where I need to do some work. It is impossible for me to pay attention to playing, singing, and watching the analyzer all at the same time.

Didn't meet my needs. I assumed that the line behind the note indicator was showing the pitch relative to the nearest note but it doesn't.It is just the waveform of what the microphone currently hears. I bought the app to show my wife that she is singing off key and that many of her notes are sharp or flat but this app isn't cutting it.

Works well enough. Works well enough but some obvious improvements such as the ability to clear, add markers, infinitely scroll, playback audio, save, export midi (+ maybe a little ui cleanup) would make it perfect. I think the first three are top priority. I hope the developer considers them.

Notes WELL!. As a non pro musician & instrument owner, this app does work to tell you exactly what pitch or note is sung or played & performs that duty well! I wish there were more options like, recording a longer stream of notes. I can use it as is for many things like tuning guitar & violin, testing the trueness of my singing tho. It's worth 2 bucks!

Not good for music analysis. I got this app to try and figure out exact notes for a piano part in a song. Even when the piano part is isolated and I have silenced every other source of sound, the app was too unreliable in telling me what piano notes were being played.

Works well. I agree with Brian. It works well but if you added a few more things it would be excellent, like some tuning, playback. I guess there's more room for that. It could be great, but actually I paid for,this and I got what I was expecting according to the description.

Fraud. Just shows random notes before you even make a sound app doesn’t work whatsoever

Cool. Pretty cool! Simple, but effective. If I was going to add anything it would be some sort of indicator to show that your tone is weakening to help with breath support.

Perfect!. I love this app! I always come back to it! I use it for testing my range - and my friends’ ranges - seeing how low and how high I can go - and for producing music. If I have a note in my head, I sing it, find the name of the note (cuz I don’t have perfect pitch but I can come up with melodies) and then play it on the virtual piano or synth! Thanks for creating this

Music analyzer. Purchased this yesterday and IT WILL NOT WORK! Very disappointing!!!!

Does not work as intended. This app does not work and I t displays notes being triggered randomly before I sing ! I will demand my money back for this swindle

Just what I needed!. I sing fairly badly and play recorders moderately well. I wanted a pitch analyser to help me improve my singing and check the tuning of my recorders. Pitch Analyser does both things brilliantly and easily. I love they way it displays pitch by note names (C, D etc.), by notes on a keyboard graphic, by frequency (Hertz) and by deviation in cents. I use it all the time. I also interested in bird calls and have used it to compare the calls of closely related species of Bronze-Cuckoos. I hope a future version permits one to capture a time-line of the sound values for graphing or further analysis. I recommend it highly. Charged.. Hi. I’ve been enjoying this app just to test out the notes my singing bowls were. Nowhere on the app does it mention a $2.99 fee being charged after a week. Is this an ongoing payment or just a one off? I don’t mind but it wasn’t stipulated anywhere, and will not be continuing with app if this is a subscription.

Useless. Would get my money back if I could. It was no help at all, just a screen with 0 information for feedback.

a very good one. Everything is perfect except it freeze if i tap home key and return ,which means i need to reopen the app every time. A bit annoying
