nice. it would be great if we could change the sizes of the shapes, and can pick the color (by color and not only by group). Wish we could really tweak its opacity levels too but so far so good guess it was worth my .99 cents

Good but.... I would like to be able to change the size of the effects. And also when you tap the screen the Bokeh doesn't go where I tap it, please fix this. Other than that the app is good.

It's a Good Start.. I'm very pleased with this app, and I hope to be able to provide a 5-star rating one day. Here's what it does well already: 1) you can adjust opacity in 3 grades 2) you can choose color palettes and adjust the gradient order 3) you can select four bokeh types 4) you can save in full resolution Here's what it needs to do: 1) I would prefer to adjust opacity with a slider for full control 2) I would insist on being able to create my own color palettes 3) I would like to be able to control the size of the bokeh effects 4) I would like an eraser tool so I am able to erase a single bokeh element from one of my swipes The foundation of this app is strong, which I hope is a reflection of things to come. I will be happy I spent 99 cents if the above items are addressed. Would even be willing to spend an extra buck for an app that provides all of the above and maybe a little more. ----- I left the above review when the app was released. The developer has not addressed any of the recommendations made by myself and numerous others. This is very disappointing, and has reduced my rating to 2 stars. Developers ought to listen to their paying customers.

Let there be Light!. Fun little app with an adorable, easy to use interface. Choose color pallete by swiping around the wheel on the left hand side. Swipe up, down, and diagonal along the right hand rectangle to change the gradient. Hit the "sun" button to increase the vibrancy or opacity of the bokeh dots. Swipe your finger around the photo to place the bokeh. A simple app to mimic DSLR results. Works every time!

Cute & Nifty. Useful app that allows u to add a little extra cuteness to ur pics. And yes it would be nice to have an eraser tool...but I'm making do without it. Highly recommend this one.

Like it!. I really like it and think it gives pics an extra cool look. Would really like it though if it had like more shapes to use.

Simple could be add on. This app does what advetise but could be add on feature/filter in full foto app rather then stand alone but still good attempt.

Colorful. Maybe I'm missing it, but I would like to be able to make my own size. Maybe different shapes too. Other than that I love the color palette options.

Okay. You should be able to make your own colors to use for the Bokeh because sometimes you want colors that you can't pick from. Also you should be able to make the Bokeh bigger or smaller. After that it would be a 5 star app.

Good start. This app has a solid foundation, 3 opacities, 4 shapes, and several color palettes. I love the random placement - it makes it quite natural. For 5 stars (and because it is a purchased app) I think it should have customizable color palettes, an opacity slider, a sizing tool, and an eraser to remove single bokeh dots. I am disappointed that the developers do not seem to be making any updates, however I still think it is worth .99 and does a better job than other apps where you draw your own bokeh.

Love it!. I saw a photo on Instgram that used this app and it was amazing. I got it immediately and I love it. My only two issues are: I wish there were more shapes to use and the post to Instagram feature doesn't work for me. But the app is still great!

Good for a free app. I love this app and I've used it quite a few times since I've downloaded it. The only thing that is preventing this app from 5 stars is not being able to make my own color scheme. Other than that this app is very effective.

Simple & Beautiful. I had been looking for an app with the bokeh effect and this is GREAT. This allows you to create your own with 4 different shapes and nice color combinations. All it's missing is a feature that lets you choose the colors for the gradient yourself.

Make it better!. This app is pretty good, but it's missing a couple of things. I would LOVE the option of just white, or natural sunlight color to put onto a photo. Also, the size of the bokeh would be great if it were customizable. It's a cool app though, as is! I'm just not sure how often I'll use it without these added features 😉

Lovely!. Everything is great, just wish there was a button that would delete certain dots and not just recent dots.

Super like. I like this app. I find it annoying though that I can't place a bokeh on a specific spot I wanna place a bokeh on, but I still like this app. Maybe you can add that option? I like its randomness, but, still, woulda given 5 stars if I can place a bokeh on a specific spot I like to have a bokeh on.

Great app!. Love how this app allows you to place each Bokeh just where you want it to be and remove and mistakes!! Would love it being a bit more precise, but it's awesome at its job now. Please think about the option of a color pallet of all creme or all white too, along with the colors.

Great but..... The app is brilliant... Only thing I wish it had was the option to change the opacity of the bokeh... Then this thing would be so perfect I'd pay for it.

Great!. I wanted an app specifically for bokeh, and this is perfect! Easy to use, and I love that you can draw right onto the photos. You can also change the direction and size of the gradient, and there are lots of great color combinations to choose from. Wonderful overall!

I really like it. I have the app for my iPhone 4 and it works pretty great. The only thing I would change is being able to delete more than just the most recent 4-5 bokeh, but that's not a big deal. Color pallets easy to work with, can adjust the opacity. If you don't like the size of the bokeh you get just delete it and try again since it seems to be random, but maybe they'll have size options one day. I had to pay for the app but I think it's worth it :)

Must have!. So glad I got this app when it was free! Even if I had to buy it for a dollar it is definitely worth it!

Great but add a move option!. I love this app, it's the only bokeh app I use. The colors are fantastic, though it'd be nice to add a few more strips in an update! Also, it would be awesome if a "move bokeh" option, or an exact placement option. But don't get rid of the random effect, just make it so there are two options. Anyway the effect is lovely, definitely worth it to get this app!

Don't bother to download. It's a waste of time. :'(. I am sorry. But I am going to have to give this app a ONE star instead five or four. I would've but it crahes the second I want to edit my picture. I've retried a billion times but it still crashed. If you fix it I'll use it again. HOPEFULLY.. Fix it please! I was looking forward to use this! :)

Ok. I took a chance n got this bcuz 1. It was .99¢ n 2. Because I have an app called bokehflex that I love n thought they b similar. I was wrong. This app jus comes w different color palettes where u can put about 5 diff shapes on ur pics. That's it. Hopefully they will b an update in the near future with better features

In  Love!. Was skeptical for awhile. Finally gave in, and bought this app. Loooove it! Touching the color palette moves the colors around. So you're able to get preferred colors where you want them. 4 different shapes of Bokeh. Hope there's updates. In the meantime, the sky is the limit.

Great UI, needs a couple more features. I picked this one because I like the simple, pretty UI. Great at adding bokeh. Two most desired updates: more monotone color schemes (whites and yellows) and ability to focus blur within the app (or else need two apps to do it, what is bokeh without some blur?). Thanks!

Love it but.... This app is great, you get to choose the coloring and placement of Bokeh, I just wish they had an eraser tool instead of an undo button and I wish you could change the opacity of the Bokeh. But otherwise, this app is completely worth a dollar!

Pretty effects!. I use this app to add a little whimsy to my photos. It's very easy to use and does the trick every time. I would love to be able to MOVE the "bokeh dots" where ever I wanted them instead of having to erase and try again. Other than that, I like this app a whole bunch! :)

Can't change opacity. I love this bokeh app more than any other app with bokeh because you can choose a scheme of multiple colors, but I'm upset that you can't change the opacity. The default opacity is way to stark and bright for a lot of pictures.

Super like. I Finally found a bokeh app that is versatile I love everything about it but I feel like there needs minor improvements, with improvements it would be the BEST bokeh app. Overall, I really enjoy it!!!!!

Good, could be better. I love the way it works like a dream. It rarely has system bugs and is pretty easy to use. On the other hand, it could do with more color palettes and an easy gradient selector. I still havent figured out how to use the box thingy

This is NOT an iPad app. Although this app is featured as being universal – meaning, it's made for both iPhones and iPads – In reality is, there is no landscape orientation. Which means that this app can only be used while holding your iPad vertically, as if it were an iPhone. As anyone knows, this becomes tedious. Quickly. The concept is great, the results can be interesting. But I cannot envision using this app very often, as long as it is such a hassle for an iPad owner to use.

It is ok:). The app is ok, quite easy to use but offers no control over the sizes or transparency of the bokeh effects and there should be a 'clear all' button where you can start over in one click versus using an 'undo' button... Keep up the good work!:)

Meh. Wish there were presets. Unless you want a light flare in a specific place, it's just annoying. Wouldn't have paid for this app if I had known better.

Beautiful. Thank you for this lovely simple way of adding some subtle touches to a photograph. Taking me a while to get the hang of the subtleties (!) of colour and placement. It's worth doing a bit of research into this art form - there are some inspiring examples of what bokeh can do in the right (subtle :) hands. A visual haiku. Look fwd to any updates - but it's great value as it is. Encourage anyone new ( like me) to the adventures of picture editing to play with it. Lots of fun & i guarantee you'll end up with at least one treasure!

Does what it says, user friendly and good result. You can create great bokeh effects, quite precisely. Can choose colours and shapes, can undo if you don't like the placement of a particular dot. Very good when you want the effect in a particular place.

Good, but could use an update. It's a very nice app, first of all. Works nicely and I like the effects it gives photos. However, first of all, you should be able to take photos straight from the app, instead of only being allowed to use photos already taken from your camera roll. Second, it is hard finding a desirable colour when you want a specific colour in mind to use. Also, a few more different colours would make it even better. And third, i think it should have more different shapes to choose from. Maybe things like squares/rectangles, triangles etc would be a nice final touch. All-in-all, it could use an in-app camera, easier colour choosing controls & more colours to choose from, and more shapes. Even with these minor setbacks, it's still a very good app. Definitely worth trying! Get it while it's free. You shouldn't be disappointed.

Update!!. I like the app everything seems to work but I didn't realize until I bought the app that it isn't updated to fit the iPhone/iPod 5 screen.. Not that big of a deal but it would be great if in the next update it would be fit the screen:)

Great App!. This is a great app for adding customized bokeh to your photos. You can choose the colors & where to place the bokeh. Add a little or a lot. I love that it doesn't take your photos and shrink them to a smaller size. You can use the original size of your photos! Love this! Much better than the crappy free bokeh apps I've tried!

A good start but I was hoping for more. I really like the idea that I could determine the path of the bokeh with my finger, but the app puts the shapes around my finger as well so there is no precision to this implementation. Also, the size of the bokeh are larger than I need / want but there is no size control. If the devs allow for more control of the path and size then this would be at least 4 stars. I look forward to updates and a chance to give a better rating.

Great App!. This is a really great app, I have no problem with anything! 😊 The only thing I would suggest to add is the ability to: - resize bokeh instead of getting a random size each time - choose our own colour - allowing users to blur any part of the picture to give a realistic looking effect.

Eh. You can't choose the exact color you want for the effects, you have to choose from a pre selected color palette, and you can't adjust the bokeh size. I've used better apps :/

its ok. it would be so great if there was a size adjuster. sometimes the bokeh is too large for my tastes. another suggestion is to have more opacity control instead of just 3 choices. this app is alright overall, but with some changes, it would definitely be awesome. please take my ideas into consideration!!!!!!!

Confusing. I give this app a 2 star, because its hard to pick the color you want. And its hard to get the bokeh in the right places... I didnt like it.

Almost Perfect. My only suggestions are: -Add the ability to create own color palettes and save them. -Opacity and Fill Opacity sliders If these features were added it will be a 5 star review.
