Nowhere near as good as his Poker World. Looking for offline poker games and found Poker World and it was perfect! Player faces and personalities, good poker, options (head to head, tournaments to progress, ranked players to move up the ranks, etc. I played it for a long,long time and recently won the world championship. Looking for something new and decided to try this since same developer. But this is a disaster. Everything is WAY too small in the tournaments, hats instead of faces remove all personality, lots of “stuff”’that really doesn’t add to the poker, etc. The tiny cards and table make it more a drudge to play. Would love and would pay for a Poker World 2.

Very good. I would like to thank the developers of this game. It has given me many hours of enjoyment and helped my game. I am aware that it may appear that the game thwarts my grand expectations and/or awards a win to lesser hand...but I think the game is solid and can process a bit quicker than me. Good job guys... I guess the guys that post bad reviews for the game...don’t know what they’re doing.😂

Wish I could give it a zero. Paid to get rid of ads, and thought the game was fun, until I learned it wasn’t free at all and I was going to have to pay money frequently to keep playing. What a scam. Only an idiot would keep paying to play a game of chance they can never win any money on. I mean, it’s fun, but there are plenty of games that are more fun that you don’t have to pay for continuously. Stay away. Save your dough. I feel misled. Next Poker app I find, I’ll read the negative reviews first.

Game is programmed to get in you're wallet... I love to play poker and i am a big fan... I play several online poker games including for cash no limit... But i have to say this game is a disgrace for the game of poker... when you start off the game you have fair luck and playing tight aggressive wins you pretty much all up until Fort Stockton... were you start going threw 25 & 30 straight flops without a single pair or hope of pocket pair!!!! & when you do actually finally get a pair almost everyone folds... and if you buy chips all of a sudden luck changes SMH 🤦🏻‍♂️FOH Lol absolutely garbage this game is simply Spam!!! Only if apple had some kind of scam proof system or something & this apps wouldn't slip in & be able to spam loyal users this is the new modern way of theft!!! game should be illegal!!!

The odds are simply not realistic. I loved the pc version of this game. I purchased it here. But, it’s quite different from the pc one. First, I paid for this game, but it asks me to pay again to remove the ads. Well, it’s not a free game, so the developers should behave as it is. Second, the the game has been made harder to the point that I don’t get anything higher than a jack at least for fifteen turns straight when play a hard game. So, it’s not the AI getting smarter, they play with the usual luck factor to make the game harder. Do not buy this beautiful game here. Go buy pc/steam version.

Seriously. This game is designed to make you buy in game chips. EXTREMELY unrealistic, not even close to what would really happen at a poker table. If you want to be mad half the time or spend real money to buy fake chips the other half the time, then this game is for you. Developers need to give a little more thought to the coding and actually add a real poker algorithm. Nothing more then a scam to make you feel like your playing poker.

Pay to play. I hardly ever give reviews for apps in the App Store but I’m so disappointed I wanted to give a warning. I’m a firm believer in paying for applications you enjoy playing. So after a few days, I paid for this application. It was only after that I realized at some point you will need to continue paying in order to progress in this game. I’m okay for paying once but I’ll delete this app when I get to the point that I have to pay more money to continue playing. As you progress from city to city the entry fees get more expensive and there are more players in each game. In some games you can get third place and still loose your entire entry fee. If you follow that logically you will end up with 0 in the player account and will be forced to pay real money to continue to play this game. I’m a pay once kind of player. I want all of the features of the game after I pay for it in the App Store. I don’t want to have to pay again and again.

Good. This is a good game but, there are a few problems. How about when you see that you have the winning hand but, they still give it to someone second to your hand. It also keeps freezing up and then brings you back into a game you didn’t even start. Then, you lose. Sorry but, this game needs work.

Great casual offline poker game. Fun game. Haven’t seen the bugs that others talk about. Well worth the $3.99 upgrade to access the other towns and remove ads. Great graphics. Fun to play different levels of games. Challenging enough for a novice poker player like me. And fun to navigate the game map visiting stores and towns. I have not needed to buy chips (well, don’t play poker recklessly, so there will be no need to spend more money).

Check on it. First off I like the game but there has been a few hands that the better had hand has lost an 8 out of 10 pocket pairs the others fold on like they know or can see just awful funny that it happens so often mean it’s just a game not real money but seem a little off and like I said there’s been a few hands that the better hand has lost somehow or another

Many errors, worst ads and ridiculous play. I routinely see pairs beating three of a kind and other similar unforgivable errors. This has happened in my favor also, but still. The ads are also ridiculous and half of them cover almost the entire screen. The rest cover up the controls but disappear when you try to select the reason for not wanting to see the ad so that you often hit a control that you did not want to. For example, when trying to select “ad covered content” as the reason for trying to turn a particular ad off, when you try to select it the ad will go away and you might hit “fold” or “all in”. Just a poorly thought out experience that puts the player last and makes the experience miserable with hopes of driving the player to the paid version.

Rigged beyond belief. To many ads. Lost all my starting money after ten rounds of poker. I consider myself a pretty good player but pc players are rigged to drain you money to the point where you have no choice by to spend real money to keep going. It is like a demo. Once you run out of your starting money your screwed. The pc players hands are rigged. Always seem to have a hand better then mine. One pc player had like five hands of straights every time which is totally unfair and impossible odds. Then when I get a straight, I am beaten with a royal flush. Also the ads always interrupt your gameplay and pop up and you can’t see what is happening until ad is over. Don’t bother downloading.

Very disappointed. I notice several times that I had a winning hand and the pot was given to a losing hand. I thought okay I’ll keep playing since it’s free but then I conquered Amarillo and the coal mine and now if I want to play any further I have to pay. I don’t mind paying once for the app but they want me to pay for every city that I go to sorry but I am out I’m deleting this app I only gave it a one star because it was fun while it was free.

Sneaky trick to get more of your real $. UPDATED : developers responded promptly to my concerns and made things right. For that, I’ve change my rating to 5 stars. — There are lots of IAPs in this game. But the only place that you will learn that you have to buy a specific IAP to play past the first city is at the BOTTOM of the App Store description. Nothing inside the game warns you. In fact, the IAP you need to buy says “to unlock ALL the cities”. I didn’t need to unlock all the cities. I won a tournament, was given a horse, told I could go to the next city, which is basically saying “you’ve unlocked the next city”. Turns out I COULDN’T unless I purchased the specific IAP. (Why am I particularly upset? Because I actually purchased the first time-limited special IAP that was offered to me, which was just more chips. It wasn’t to unlock the game, which I would have done!)

Gov of Poker 1. I enjoy playing this version but i really wish it would have an option to stop the play after the last card so one could actually see what the other players cards were. That might help to figure out if they were bluffing or had the best hand. If there are more than 3 players it is almost impossible to scan the others cards before they are collected and a new hand is dealt. With that extra feature it would be a great poker training game for someone that wanted to practice before heading to Las Vegas.

Horrible ads. The poker is fine and the game is fun, but google places ads across the bottom of the screen while playing and it covers the buttons to act. You can x it out but then google leaves a blank box the same size for the rest of the game anyway. Very frustrating. The ads in between games trick you too. I know free games come with ads, but cmon. Theres a fake x that makes you go to the game in the ad as if someone trying to x it out is gonna download said game. Doesnt make sense to me. Im done with this game.

Cheats?. Thought I must have seen the hands incorrectly at first, but sure enough I’ve caught three or five hands that should have won but didn’t, or that won but didn’t pay out - I should have placed first in a tournament when the other player went all in (at around $1k) and I won the hand. Instead, I was given less than $200 for the winning hand and the other player was given back the rest of their money and allowed to keep playing!! Zero sense. I paid for the app and don’t mind supporting and paying for games I enjoy, but not when they’re designed to cheat and scam. Also, I’ve NEVER had the same level of HORRIBLE luck/hands in real life that I’m constantly being dealt in this game. This would be a phenomenal and insanely popular game if they would play by the rules and/or work out these “bugs.”

Unfair game. This game is very frustrating! I see many times hands that are losing hands win over hands that should take the entire pot. For example, I had a flush and my opponent had a pair of jacks, the pot was something like 6000. I clearly won the hand yet the pot is split and I end up with 2000 and my opponent gets 4000 even though they lost! This is ridiculous and is not actual poker. Play by the rules and stop the unfairness just so people have to pay money for more chips or the better version of the game. It’s a game. It’s supposed to be fun. Your supposed to win. When you take that away by making it unfair to make money off of your users shows that you just are in it for the money. Fix these problems and make this game fair and user friendly. This game could be fantastic if this are drastically changed for the user experience.

Stacked Against You. I had the first version in which I loved and would still be playing that version if it would play on my newer iPad (it doesn’t). This second version is a mess and seemed to get worse and worse with each update. If you’re looking for random card deals, this game is not for you. The computer will always one-up you regardless of what type of hand you have. No matter how good you think your hand is, the algorithm of this game will always produce a better hand to beat you. Probably has something to do with purchasing chips but I’m speculating. This game will frustrate the hell out of you so be prepared.

Very buggy; $$$. Beware, they will get you in a spot where you can’t play anymore without buying extra chips. Game says I must sleep before getting paid, but must play game of poker before sleeping, and I don’t have the chips to play another game of poker without paying *real dollars*, which I refuse to do. Not only that, but very buggy. Freezes up and you lose your game. Disappointing.

Horrible AI. The AI is beyond terrible. Check raise pre-flop with 3-8 off suit? Then continue betting the entire way with absolutely no hand when you are not the dominant stack at the table? I also find it interesting that more than half of the time when you fold a junk hand, somehow your 2-7 off suit would have miraculously become two pair or three of a kind. The only good things I can say are it’s free and the graphics are nice.

Don’t bother. I was liking the game despite the total lack of any instruction on how to move from place to place and what buying houses does (you would think you get money from rent but not so). Then, I was low on chips so I was following the prompt to watch a video for 80 chips and guess what? No chips were added. I watched several more and still nothing so I contacted customer service. Andy was right on top of it responding several days later with “Did you watch it until the end?” Well, yeah. Several more days go by before he responded again with “Sometimes there’s a limit on how many chips you can get per day by watching a video.” Really? Then why is it available? Are you going to do ANYTHING? Nope. Delete.

It’s a fun app. This free app is perfect for mindless fun on my iPad. I win mostly 1 out of 4 games, no matter how I play, sometimes conservatively or wildly. I think the computer cheats lol but I still try. I don’t lose any money. The only thing, I can’t use it on my iPhone. It won’t change the date and keeps asking for rating and therefore you can’t continue to play.

Buggy money sucking app. The bugs and game freezes drove me away. This is the first review I have ever written, that’s how upset I am with this app... Several times would be in the final three people at a table and the entire game would freeze. I would have to back out of app and come back in and start the poker game over completely, with no credit for chips. K with their support would say sorry... It was fun until the problems started showing up, then it became frustrating and annoying. Waste of time and money...

Crashed but good. I’ve been playing this game a lot lately. It is a fun poker game. There is just enough non-poker stuff to keep it fun. The reason for three stars is it crashed today while playing it and after closing it, it won’t reopen. I deleted the app and fired it up again, nothing. Even a great game is worthless if it is unplayable. I’ll try again for a few days. If it doesn’t come back, I’ll delete the app.

AI ruins it. There are some fun things to this game. I like the RPG elements to go along with the poker. But unfortunately the AI makes the game near unplayable. Nobody ever folds pre-flop. You can raise a quarter of the starting chip stack on the first hand and every hand after, and you will almost always be playing five or six handed on the flop. Consequently it turns into chutes and ladders because the AI players don’t lose anything when they bust out, but you do. They can play super recklessly, and you never have any idea what they might have because they will call half their stack pre-flop with a J/6 offsuit. The prize money is also not fair. You pay 3K to buy in to a 24 player tourney that pays out top three, and you get like 8k if you win. So you either buy chips with real money or grind the “cash” games that are more predictable but don’t let you win much each day. Disappointing.

Needs improvements. I like the AI. It seems like there are several different playing styles programmed into the different characters. Fun and quick poker games. The game outside of the poker game is a good concept- buying towns, traveling, and eventually becoming the governor of Texas. If you buy a new hat it only stays on you until you quit playing. When you start the game again you’re back in your default hat until you go to the hat store again to change it. Very annoying to me. I wish there was an option to change my character’s voice. I also wish that when you win a horse, carriage, or car that you could actually see it. Spoiler alert!!! When you win the whole game by owning all the towns and defeating the governor nothing much happens. Huge disappointment. A little blurb pops up saying “congratulations you’ve defeated the governor”. You don’t even get a newspaper flash like you do when you win a town. A little more celebration or story line sure would be nice after so many hours of play. If part of your motivation to win poker games is to see what happens next in the game you will be sorely let down at the end.

Good for Novice. Fun distraction while getting over my covid booster. Fun for a beginner. Love that you can slow down the plays in settings, easily pull up the rankings chart, & hit the info button to see how a hand was won. Ads covering up buttons is annoying. No idea how realistic AI is bc I’m a novice. Wish there was a TX holdem version.

Scams. Starts of seeming pretty fair with real world odd for any given card. Then once you’ve played and progressed long enough the odds per card drastically change. I’ve lost all of my last 43 games and tournament’s. Struggling even to win one hand. The government seriously needs to regulate these apps as they are essentially scams. I despise these software engineers and companies. They should be classified as thieves and criminals.

Ai poker with profits in mind. I’ve played this game on the pc, much better and no real money needed. The problem with this type of game is that it is in their best interest that you lose, so that you may pay real money for chips. First town is ok, to get you hooked. Then you pay for the game which is reasonable. After that the gameplay is fraudulent and fixed. You will lose winning hands. You will lose to astronomical odds, and often. In order to really keep playing you will need t spend real money to buy chips. Once you realize that they want you to lose and they are totally in control of that, you know that it is rigged. Stick with real player poker games and pass on this one.

Frustrating. It’s really hard to win even on normal difficulty due to the CPU getting the card they need on the river 50% of the time. For example, I had an ace high straight after the turn and forced the CPU to go all in if they wanted to call, which they did. They had 4 spades at the time and nothing else. The river was their 5th spade. I know poker is a game of luck and these things happen, but at the rate that the CPU makes terrible calls only to be bailed out on the river is frustrating. This is just one example and I felt like I was playing behind the 8 ball in every game.

Fun game with issues. This game is fun but it has issues. Tournaments cost too much to get into and if you win one the payoffs are low. Buildings are too expensive and the rents are low after you buy them. Cash games are played like tournaments because you can’t buy in again. I guess this is the way the developers get you spend real $$.

Well done lots of fun. It takes a lot to get me excited but I can’t wait to get off work and play this one. I’ve only been playing it for a few days and have not gotten it down pat yet, but that’s okay. This game is easy to figure out even if your not a avid gamer or card player. It’s simple, it’s fun and it helps you build your card playing skills. Most places you would have to pay for that. So I say GOOD JOB, keep it up. Sincerely, Charles Blalock

Wasted my money. I had the first version on my iPhone, but it won’t work with the new iOS. I downloaded the second... then paid for the full version to avoid all the annoying ads. I wanted a game to help me learn the strategy in playing. I did NOT want an AI that does not bet based on the cards dealt pre-flop. It is not realistic to go all in on a 2 and 3 off suit. I find myself just folding every hand instead of playing a game that I paid for. I wasted my money on this game!

Don’t trust the AI. As others have pointed out the other robot players play suspiciously. I also think the game rigs the deals. When I first started with the evaluation version I was seeing 4-of-a-kinds a lot. Then the game bleeds you dry trying to get you to buy chips. I’d like a legit game to learn to play with in a fun setting but this isn’t it. EDIT: reinstalled recently to give it another go, omg the game is so obviously rigged in the last round. I guess rather than make the AI smarter they elected to fix hands more. Opponents had FOUR 4-of-a kinds during a 2-day stretch when I had great hands. And, two were in the same game! Jokes on them I’m not paying for chips.

Awful just awful. Where do I even start this game on the computer wasn't that bad but here it just wants you to buy chips and lose causeing you to buy more chips even you wonder how it makes you lose just look at the other 1 star reviews an awful review for an awful game

Respond to unfair game. Well one, did you have a lot of chips in the pot contributed ? The game goes if you don’t have the amount to match the other opponent and you win the hand against them you don’t get the entire pot. You get a portion. It’s like saying you put in 50 in the call and he went all in with 5000. If you won you would only get a lump sum not all of it. That’s how it is. Unless you called the amount he or she put in then you’d get the entire pot.

Bugs. I enjoy playing the game a lot but I’m getting really frustrated with the game freezing. It forces me to leave the table sometimes because it won’t continue and it’s been getting stuck on the loading screen. Without these issues, I would absolutely love it.

Not worth your time. In this game, the CPU bets right away to the ~50s in just the first town and before the flop. I either fold or end up losing because I can't tell if my cards are good enough to win. Even if I do have a good enough hand, such as a three of a kind with 10s, the computer with the same exact hand (three of a kind 10s) wins and takes all the money that I should have gotten some of. This game isn't worth your time, and I didn't even mention the ads before every single tournament.

Unfair. So I know that a full house beats a three of a kind by far but it’s the simple fact that had I been the one with the full house I wouldn’t have gotten the full pot and won. It seems every time I’m sure to work the game magically helps the AI win and I can tell that it does. It seems to me that the AI knows what you have weather they something good or not which an AI can b they are apart of the same program but it also seems that player AI and the Dealer AI use a co strategy to make you loose and this in real poker is unreal. I can understand the need to make money for a free app but to do so unfairly isn’t the way to go and it’s really low. So unless you want to watch yourself loose money pointlessly don’t get this game and that’s the truth. 💯💯💯

Great Offline 1 Player Texas Hold’em. If you’re looking for a poker game without playing with other online players, this is a good choice. This game allows you to play and resume at your will. Don’t quite care for the in game story line but it’s not annoying. Buy all the house at each stage to collect rent and this will minimize your losses on the day you ain’t so lucky.

BS designed to drain your wallet. I’m well aware that gambling, online or at a casino, is designed to drain your wallet. Poker is one of the very few games where you have a good chance at winning. I’ve barely EVER had a good chance winning in this app. I paid the price for the full app. I bought houses and traveled. Did the things you would expect to do and win a role playing game. Bought houses and a whole town. Bought a fancy hat that wouldn’t stay on for whatever reason. Never got any returns on the whole entire town I bought and had to keep going back to the hat store to put on my hat. I didn’t have to rebuy the hat, but it should stay on, right? The biggest issue is there are some serious bugs with the poker hands. I have clearly had a better hand than the opponents and still lost. Also, the dialogue from the opponents is beyond annoying. “Give me the chips! C’mon!” It made me want to destroy my device. This game is all levels of wrong and rigged. I’m out. Deleted. Glad I only paid a few bucks to access the full game and see how terrible it was before dumping more money on chips. Stick to WSOP, or whatever.

Teaching tool. Kid friendly poker. Avoid the adult stuff on online sites. I can slow things down in order to "coach" my granddaughter . We never have to wait for the other players, but we can take as much time as we want on each turn. I'm lovin' it! By the way, at the coal mine, they make up this own the rules!

I want it to be good. Decent play, fun premise. However it’s glitchy. I won a tournament then had it lock up and not given me credit. Worse yet, I can’t play the tournament again now (game must think I won) so I can’t proceed further in the game (which I paid for…). This is just the worst example but there were many other small examples. App hasn’t had a version update in three years so assume these type of glitches are permanent and go find a better poker game.

Duped Me Out Of $$$. SHAME ON YOU FOR BLAMING ANYONE BUT YOU!!! Wanted to make a buy for a certain $$ and was charged more than double the advertised price. When I wrote in the only said sorry it was Apples fault because they are the ones that billed me. BS!!! The charge came before Apple ever got involved. Shady and dishonest. Then got follow up email like they had done something good. STUPID AND OBNOXIOUS!!! Not worth it! Go for another poker game. I’ve tried others, even with online players that are better than this and you can actually learn the game and not get ripped off. Some of the plays seem rigged as well on the side of the computer. Needless to say I deleted the app.

Buggy, wrong hands and cheats. App has bugs freezes a lot. Miscalculated hands especiallly when the hole cards break a tie, I’ve seen it several times. Haven’t gotten into it far the but the guys in the coal mine, particularly the second guy, get miraculous hands... straight flush, seen four of a kind many many times for the number of times I’ve played (I’ve had none). I think this one is engineered to get you to buy, like all these games are. Glad I only spent a couple bucks I doubt I’ll play it anymore.

Set up to lose. I’ve played many poker games with the understanding that there’s a risk when playing. Yet this game is filled with bugs and clearly rigged to make you lose. I’ve played enough to see the signs that I have a winning hand, only to be outdone. For example. I’ll have a straight to Jack and someone has a straight to queen. The problem is it happens ALOT! Just when I truly set it up to have a win I lose. This game is meant to take your money and no matter how you try to “play” the game the odds are completely against you. Sadly,I paid for the game and oh the open map it claims you get, is not open at all. It’s just a way to make you think you get something when all you get is ripped off. Don’t waste your money.

If you like bad beats this is your game!. There is no way the AI in this game is not rigged against the player. Statistically I’ve gotten more bad beats than is probable. Not just bad beats HORRIBLE BEATS - Computer Will have something like 7-2 off and will go all in against my pocket aces . Surprise surprise the computer pulls off the win on the river. The computer will flop 7-7-2 or something completely outrageous and beat you. you could have the best of it throughout until the river card hits and gives them either a straight, a flush or full house. I agree with others who have posted that this is just a scam game to get you to buy chips. It’s just not possible to lose this much on a game. I mistakenly paid for it and I’m paying the price. I hope you read this and don’t make the same mistake.

Not worth it. You WILL get screwed.. This play starts out good but as you move up through new town levels it gets stupid. You have a high pair... plan to get beat. You have full house, plan to get beat, three of a kind.. again you will be beat. Hell I had a straight flush and was beat. The odds of this happening is like one in never. This game becomes heavily stacked against you as you move up. My advise...play within first level only. Don’t spend any money.

A joke. I find this game no different than any other. The basic function of the game is to sell. Sell maps and sell chips. When a game allows fare play to come before selling then it would be worth sharing with friends . Phone cost enough on my monthly budget , will not spend any extra on games . So I must look for games that are fare and entertaining , and don’t require additional monies to play. This one won’t work . I’ll get tiered of it soon and delete it , being I can only play in limited area.

Really enjoy playing this one. I was hooked on the first Gov of Poker, this one is a bit harder but couldn't stop til i won.

Needs Improvements/ Fixes. I loved the first version but this one crashes on me intermittently. Also, when you bust in a town you can't get back to a town you own to sell houses for money- it makes you play a game before the "next day", when 'transport' will be ready- so it forces you to purchase game money with real life dollars. Disappointing because I really love all other aspects of this game.

Annoying. Get the first version. A bit glitchy but better design and no ads. They took a great game and killed it.

Not free. Fun game, good for learning the basics but definitely not free if you want to continue to play. Seems to be programmed to eventually make you lose and ultimately pay once all your chips are gone.

Still not working.. Keeps crashing on the youda loading screen can't even get to the main menu

Polished, nice tutorial, but frustrating in parts.. You get to the point of loosing and you almost need to take a screen shot to see the results of your players winning hands. Add a leave the building button instead of shutting down that game and booting you to the street. I'm not an expert player so it would be nice to see what you were betting against.

Too many ads. The ads are the most ridiculous I've seen in an app. The play is ridiculously bad, it might get better with the higher levels.

ADS!!! 👿👿👿. The game on it's on, is alright at best! But the ads make it one of the most annoying experiences anyone could ever encounter! While playing, at the bottom of the screen where the buttons (fold, call, raise, skip etc) are portrayed, constant ads appear over them. The other robotic players take their turns basically in the time frame of a second, while your page is covered and you are distracted by annoying ads. They disappear as soon as it is your turn, then quickly reappear. The game is too fast while having the ads, and it is nothing like how a game would usually go if you were actually playing. I've stopped playing it after a few times. Wouldn't recommend it...

Poker game doesn't know how to play poker. Clearly had multiple winning hands that it awarded to other players. This game keeps you from winning to show you more ads. Weak

Same old game play & just as fun.. Enjoyable and a good game to help learn poker. #2 has the same game structure as the others although this one forces you to be more focused on the money which is a shame. I liked the old option to get a bank loan or bank your winnings & earn interest as was available on the PC version, but I guess there's no profit in doing it that way. If you loose your chips in a moment of distraction & haven't yet bought any properties, that's about it for the game unless you want to pay real $$$. Otherwise, this is a great little poker game.

Dodgy. Good poker game but got ripped off 10,000 chips in game 32 player tournament need to fix a few bugs in it since when does a straight beat a flush :/

Disappointing Update. I was excited when I saw there was a new update but have been extremely disappointed. It is now very slow and clunky and frustrating at times when you can't even select the guy standing on the street hosting a game. There are long pauses in the middle of games and response time is maddeningly slow. Hardly worth playing now!

Too many crashes. This app always crashes in tournaments when you have just won a big hand. The only way to continue is to leave the table and forfeit your winnings which is really annoying.

Love it so far..... Was looking for an enjoyable Texas Hold’em single player game. What a great little game. Fun idea to move through towns and play poker, to win enough to buy out the town, before moving on. The first town’s difficulty level is set pretty easily. But it doesn’t seem to be based on you receiving lucky draws, but rather, low quality play by the AI players in the first town. If you are an experienced player, you will appreciate this. If not, you can practice till you get better. After the bets are in, the game play moves very quickly, and often too fast for me to keep track, but if it was slowed down, it would damage the experience. One change I would very much like to see is cards shown face up, once all bets are in. During showdowns in Texas Hold’em, you really want to know whether you have outplayed the other player during the betting stages. It’s satisfying if you outplayed the others and get rewarded. And it’s fun if you got outplayed, but get lucky.

A great way to learn poker. Not knowing how to play poker only a few months ago, a colleague put me on to this app. I have practiced and learnt so much in a relatively short space of time that I can confidently play cash games at our nearby casino. I haven't won much money yet but, by the same token, I haven't lost ANY money at the casino poker tables (I do only play at the cheapest entry poker tables though). A most enjoyable card game.

Bad. Game is an exercise in frustration. The hands feel pre-determined, somehow every time I flop the nuts I get runner runnered, the ai is hitting 2 outers at a 90% rate when I’m missing 15 outers on 2 cards at the same rate. Was entertaining at first but got old very quickly when I began to feel the imbalance. 2/10 river monster simulator.

Great gameplay, but . . .. A lot of fun, especially since the AI is pretty smart, which makes for a more realistic experience that is always different and keeps things interesting. However, it’s difficult to finish the game without making a good number of purchases, unless you win all the time. After a certain point, you need to start over and try again. That’s not a deal-breaker given that it is fairly priced and the gameplay is enjoyable.

This is this most frustrating game I have played in my life in one of the games i went around 50 hands and hand 4 good hands one of the three of a kinds I got I ended up earning a total of 8 chips the other three of a kind lost me 160 because the guy somehow went from a pair to a full house, the straight I got lost me chips because the guy somehow had another straight and the full house i got was beaten by a straight flush. Any time in the whole game I get a pair it’s either for nothing or beaten by the same pair but the persons second card is higher than mine

Rigged as hell. In the beginning its easy to win. Then I understand I can’t win every time but the npc seems to be cheating or cheated. They always have high cards in their hands and have three of a kind or straight or 2 pairs way too often to not be rigged. The only time they have nothing in their hands its when I have a pair of A in my hands or a high hand, the moment I bet they fold. I’m sorry but there’s no way someone can win 45 hands in a row without cheating

The app hasn’t been updated in 3 years.. It doesn’t display properly on my phone but somehow the deals for getting money from us works perfectly. It’s not that hard to update the game so it at least shows properly on newer phones.

Cheats. Does not throw you random cards you get bed cards while the computer gets pairs flush’s and straights do yourselves a favour reed some reviews before downloading

All around good passive poker playing. Love this app for passive play. I can start a game and walk away from it not being rushed to play my hand. It’s nice to be able to just put it in expert mode and practice throughout the day playing a few mins here and there when I can keeps me sharp for my online play

Heavy Tilt on this table?. Not many decent hands, even when on normal mode. Not many opportunities to raise when you do get a hand, all others just fold when you're loaded. Computer players come up with some of worst bad beats you will ever see and this game is full of hands designed to make you lose chips so you will buy more in their in app purchases.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. It become extremely unfair once you start playing later in the game. I should’ve never bought this. You’ll get absolutely terrible hands every tournament you play and the AI will always have the nuts. The AI will bet extremely unrealistic amount for what they have then win by the River.

I want to give it a 5 but …... I’ve noticed as of late winning hands have been declared as losing cards. This was not the case before. The game is amazing and fun for the average poker player.

Rigged. You win a few good hands but after that no luck. I would never buy anything from this rigged up system. Game is definitely rigged, had 450 against 40. Had crappy hands and lost. Had to delete the game, the algorithm blows hard. If you want to get frustrated this is the perfect game. Waste of time.

This game is straight crap. This game is an offline game and yet it gives players such a hard time to win, I call so much BS on this game. It’s ridiculous, wished this game was never made. Needs fixin. Needs to be fixed. I had a full house and lost to two pair. It is fun to play though. Update, dropped to one star. When you run out of game money you can’t play anymore unless you purchase game money. There is no way to make game money within the game. Nope now I am done, it is just a junk app that I can’t use. Didn’t get to play poker. Opened up the game and the ai had a little exclamation marker wanting me to do an in ap purchase. I’m a gamer by nature and know how to figure most games out. But i clicked everything in the town and scrolled around and was getting no response. I was in el paso. Clicked on all buildings. The only thing that responded was the in app purchases thing. Game deleted.

Glitches. Game glitches out from time to time… doesn’t see a card in your hand and you go from a 2 pair or full house to a single pair… Didn’t get paid out on a split pot… things like that.

Make you pay to continue. I’ve beat this game before and it was super fun. I downloaded it again and suddenly I have to pay to continue beyond the first town??? How do you go back to an old game and change it to make people pay?? Plus you gotta watch ads. Such a shame. Delete...

Not what it used to be.. I played an earlier version where advertisements didn't pop in and out during the game blocking part of the game. It also glitches on my iPhone 6. I used to play in my iPhone 4 with no problems and it was a good pastime now it's more aggravating than it's worth.

Sad 😭. This would have a five star review but all of sudden the game won't open without glitching and closing itself. I love the game and played it everyday and want the game to be fixed so I can continue to play.

Frequent mid-game freezes. I’m have lost thousands of chips due to freezes that occur during the middle of a poker match. At least five time this has happened and the only way to fix the freeze is to restart. When you do that, most of the time you loose everything you have gained.

Terrible Ai coding. The original governor of poker game was wonderful and I’ve played it for hours. The artificial intelligence in this game is insane. Even under easy mode players are going all in with a high card right when the game starts. I just hate that I paid for the full version based off of how wonderful the original was.

Fun & frustrating. The perfect game if you love to have fun and be frustrated. Sometimes everything works as it should. Sometimes you will lose when you’re holding a straight and the other player has two pair.

Hijack your iPhone home screen like a virus!. I was very displeased when the game just hog my screen, making it impossible to close off the game and return to iPhone home screen. This complete virus like behavior somehow gets unnoticed by Apple App Store. I have no choice but to completely erase this game. Thank you for the worst first experience.

To many ads involved!. I really like this game but lately there is to many ads in this.. every second there’s a new one popping up. Which is not necessary needed. Even if I put my phone on airplane mode they still manage to pop back up. This needs a serious fix and also the game has a bit errors that it makes. Fix this ASAP!

Great for beginners. The game has great tips along the way and can be slowed down for beginners. It’s fun that it’s also Poker + FarmVille with little tasks along the way.

Won’t work. This app was my favorite especially because it’s offline. I have been playing and now the app won’t get beyond the loading page. I have deleted and reloaded the app and still not able to play.

Major disappointment. Wasn’t aware that after you finish the 1st town and win at the coal mine you are forced to pay $3.99 in order to continue playing. With all of the free poker apps out there this was a waste of time. Deleted it immediately after only playing for an hour or less.

Can't anyone make a simple 1 player TH game?. This is not as horrible as some say it is. You have to be willing to play the role however. It is the closest thing I can find to a single player Texas Hold'em though.

Great learning experience. I was looking for a quick and easy way to gain a grasp of the poker concept, and it really helped me out.

Ads cover the controls. I actually got the pay version because I like the game and didn’t want to be hassled with the ads. Even on the pay version the ads pop up every time you want to do something and they cover the area that has all the controls. Do not waste your money on this game

Slow down!. Nice learning tool but I wish that at the conclusion of the hand it would slow down and let you see everyone’s hand so you could see the winners hand.

Absolutely Rigged. I’ll get what is supposed to be a great hand and the computers end up being the ones with pairs with lower cards. Almost every time I fold there comes a card in the river that would have made me win. I feel like the computers actually know my hand because it is impossible to bluff them.

Pay to Play. You start off winning fairly easily, but suddenly you continuously lose games and are dealt weaker hands. I restarted this game to check and ran into the same issue about 1hr into gameplay. This game could be great if you removed the predatory AI design and just charge $5 for the full app. This app is confused, it wants to be like a WOP disguised as a RPG.

Rip Off. I just paid to get to level 2 with the understanding it would unlock the the rest of the levels but when I finished level 2, I was again promoted to pay access the rest of the levels. I loved this game and feel so angry and tricked. I’m incredibly disgusted.

Unrealistic computer play!. While the game is cute and fun traveling town to town and buying up properties, etc, etc... the play of the computer avatar players is COMPLETELY unrealistic! You might as well play on a free poker all in fest site! All the tournaments turn is raise, re-raise, re-raise, like every hand! It’s ridiculous and makes the poker aspect of the game no fun! Sorry, true fact.

Horrible game!. This game lacks quality, I’m looking for a game that is just a fun poker game that you can play without worrying about progressing through, I had high hopes for this game because it looked fun and easy. Seems fun, but not for beginners. This game seems like a very fun way to play poker, but only if you already know how to play. I don't recommend for a person just learning the game.

App is for learning. The AI is so impossible, it trains you well to play actual poker. However, there are a lot of issues with hand rankings and pot splitting that wouldn’t happen in actual poker. Good for getting into Poker, horrible for continuing or having fun.

Fun game. Limited free play. I really enjoyed the game until I defeated the second area of play. The coal mine. At which point you receive a horse and it tells you that you have unlocked 2 more towns......which you have to pay 3.99 to go to. Very disappointed

Buggy. The game is okay- entertaining enough, easy to follow, beginner friendly, etc. BUT! There is a bug- twice now I’ve had a straight and “lost” to a pair. I won’t be playing again until that’s fixed.
