Best I found. I tried out many free weather apps. This was my favorite. Show the useful info, clear to see and understand. Minimal less useful info to clutter the screen.

Better than most. I use this quite a bit gives a lot of data concisely. However lack of dew point and few current conditions shown keep from being what it should be. Would prefer per cent of sunshine rather than hours as you don’t typically know how many hours are in the day.

Classic Weather. I need more colorful list 7 days on colorful. I don’t like dark grey. Map is directions winding and speed show area.

GR8! + No subscription w/ $2 app. Excellent feature set. AND gets me my 2 most useful *hourly* infos: temp. & chance of precip. shown for the whole day. I’m NOT going to fall for the subscription deal that ~7 other weather apps I tested are doing. I went for this same developer’s paid app of the same name HD. Love it on my iPad, mini, too. #RECOMMEND: $2 PRO VERSION ...reliable in > year of use ...tested iPhone 8 & iPad, iOS 11 & 12

Great weather app. One of the first things I check in the morning and before bed. Very handy, accurate and let’s you have multiple locations.

Love it for years, but. Is it possible to have hourly time in 12 hour instead of military 24?

Simple and perfect. All I want is the basics, and that seemed impossible to find. I didn’t want any unnecessary information, just the basics. This app is perfect!

A go-to weather app. This is my go-to app for the big picture after Dark Sky. Classic Weather has everything you need in a simple easy-to-read GUI. Don't change a thing, guys.

Quick, easy to read, a ton of info on one screen. I’ve tried several weather apps and end up scrolling and tapping and scrolling some more to get the info I want. With Classic Weather, the temp, % chance of rain, wind speed, and amount of sunshine (I got the premium version) are all together in one place. It’s perfect to check before going out for a bike ride or other outdoor activity.

I compared 10 apps... tied for #1. UPDATE 2018: Still using this app after 3 years (after my initial review below). BTW, the tying app, "Weather On", has since been discontinued. ------- In my testing and comparisons, I gave points for streamlined, clear interfaces and discounted points for cluttered and "bloated" interfaces. The 2 finalists were *this* app and the "Weather On" app. This "Classic Weather" app has the quickest, clearest, and most streamlined interface. I've noticed the developer here is responsive to user feedback and has recently made some slight adjustments to the interface - making the app even better than before. The other (Weather On) app will better suit your needs, if you need additional information on less commonly referenced weather variables. That app however, IMO, starts to approach a cluttered/confusing feel (with all the extra info).

Most accurate. Have 5 different weather apps; this one more accurate than any of the others. Like having 10 days out and really like the hourly as our weather here has a way of changing rather quickly.

Best Weather App Ever. This is the very best weather app I have ever seen! Been using it for years. I wish there was a pc version. I love everything about this app. No ads, no clutter ...just the info you need.p ...logically displayed. Also allows choosing numerous cities to compare. I have family spread around the world and easily compare all of their cities' weather.

Cannot remove a location. There is NO WAY to delete a city/location once you have added it. I only needed it once and now I can't get rid of it. Ans there are ABSOLUTELY NO DIRECTIONS either. I've clicked on everything and there is no way. Unforgivable that the only possible way to do it is to uninstall the entire app and start all over again. This is stupidity and incompetence on steroids.

Nice but too small on iPad. I really like this app on an iPhone, but it is way too small on an iPad - it shows the same size as on the iPhone. Yes, the background fills the screen, but that is not what interests me. Also, I would like to be able to set 10 day view as the default view when opening. Add these changes and it is 5 stares.

Weather App. Great app, very fast and accurate too!

Classic Weather. I open this app before I'm out of bed to know how to dress. It's also helpful when traveling to know how to pack. Using this app is part of my daily routine.

Good App. This is a useful weather tool which I check several times a day. It has plenty of info and it is simple to use. I also keep locations of my kids in Seattle, LA and Austin TX, so I can see what their weather is doing.

Clean & Simple. Does what it says - just like the weather widget app for the iPhone unlike all the other "BLOATED" weather apps for the iPad (Weather Channel/ WeatherBug/ etc) The free version is limited to 3 locations, so if you need more, just get the paid full version.

Great. Functional. Informative. Innovative.. I really like bent able to display two locations on the same screen. Very convenient. Easy to use. Nice clean display. Reliable. Thank you very much for this app.

Perfect!. Just beautiful! This weather app is my favorite of all times. It’s simple, nice graphics, easy to read, not cluttered, you can choose from settings whatever weather parameters you want to see. One of my favorite parts of this app are the daily icons that show the sky conditions. You can have 1, 2 or 3 icons, depending on how detailed you want to see the sky conditions every day. I installed this in my phone a few years ago and I liked a lot the UI, the icons, the weather information given within the app, everything, except the weather source which didn’t seem to match the real conditions from my area. However, one of the more recent updates, the developer changed the source to AccuWeather which is a very reliable weather company and who’s app I had in my phone for “ages”, but didn’t really like the UI, so I wasn’t using it too often. But NOW, my favorite Classic Weather UI in combination with my favorite weather source...I can’t ask for more! Please do not ever stop updating this app!!! My favorite of all times! I also have it on my Mac. A suggestion to the developer, It’d be better the app would take the whole screen on the phone, I have the iPhone 8 plus and when I open the app, there’s a background showing the blue sky and only in a smaller rectangle in the middle of that background is the the actual weather showing.

Great!. This is my everyday weather app. I went through about ten and of all of them I chose this one for everyday quick weather check and another one for certain details. It is very easy to read and the main reason I love this app so much (it's uniqueness) is the fact that you can choose 3 times a day to see, at a glance, the temperatures and if it was going to rain or shine. I don't really have the patience to scroll down all those hours to see what the weather is going to be at certain times during one day. On this app, you have three icons every day and that says it all. You can choose the times: mine are 8am, 1pm and 6pm. Beautiful and fast!

Quick check. Whenever I want the outside temp, I open the app and it’s there.

Accurate. Free. Great.. I have a few weather apps. This one is the only one I check. The forecast is accurate. It gives a great long range forecast. And the ads are not too obnoxious. My iPad is very old and this one works on the older OS.

Best weather app. Best weather app by a million miles. It has everything you need. They even include the date! Amazing

THIS. O.K. I haven't used this all that long but it has been going really well for the time I have had it!!!!! If I ever would need to I would recommend this game to well who ever needed it.. the only reason I didn't give this game game 5 stars because it could have more designs on it and stick out more but everything else is great <3

Limit of three cities 🙁🙁🙁. Many weather apps exist but very few are good. This one seemed to be a nice exception, until it refused to add more than three cities without $ka-ching$. It still pushes ads in your face. So, a mixed bag here.

Great for travel. Use this app all the time. I have found it far better than others I've tried. If you stay in one place I'd get it anyway. Probably better than the local paper. At least it is here in Helsinki.

Ads and Nags. I used to love this app, but enough is enough. The constant nags and ads were few enough, but just now had to dismiss the same ad three times within 30 seconds. Uninstalling ClassicWeather now. Bye.

So far, so good. Even though I gave the app 5 stars, I’m saddened that you don’t have a radar. I SOMETIMES like to look at a radar to see the precipitation coming. But, I’ll get used to it.

Exactly what I need. I've tried out or owned a fair number of weather apps. This one suits me the best -- it's easy to set up (different locations, etc.), and it presents the data in a clear and easy-to-read fashion. Can't really think of how I might improve it!

Hate it. I hate it because it is snowing but it says it is sunny!

Sad to see this App slip. This used to be a great weather application. Since a recent "Upgrade" generic and free apps are as good or better. Don't know what happened, but it's an unfortunate loss.

Awesome at a glance. I'm so happy to have found this. The Weather Channel App had just put me through another greed-driven update, effectively shutting down an app I paid for, but as it turns out, this app's interface is even easier to understand and to access! Love the 3 icon snapshot and hourly precip forecast!

Awsome app!!. This weather app always tells me the right weather that's going to be for that day although you don't want to check the weather in a week in advance bc it will most likely be wrong but that's the only wrong thing about it everything else is amazing!!!😊😊😘👍😉😍

Reduced forecast after latest update. Used to love this app a lot but the latest update now doesn't provide sufficient forecasts further than 3 days in advance. Instead it keeps giving error forecast "Not available yet".

Downgrade!. The new update made it very difficult to read some of the numbers, which are now light gray on light blue. Need some contrast please!

Simple and to the point.. I really like just the "weather" facts hour by hour and day by day...helps me plan ahead...

The best. I looked at over 20 different weather apps. This is the best hands down. The simplest and most straight forward weather app available. I would easily pay $5-10 for this.

New update is terrible. The new update makes much of the information unreadable.

Best weather app on the iPad. Finally, FINALLY someone made an app that does exactly what I want it to do: show me the weather. And NOTHING else. No annoying gigantic clock or anything. It's exactly like the basic original weather app on the iPhone. It's perfect.

Help!. Where is the key so we know what all the symbols mean? For instance there are two little rings in bottom right corner, when you tape on them one disappears, what is this for? Then there are two different arrow symbols I figure one is for wind direction and knots, but the other in top right? Please send link for explanation of symbols! Thank you!

Good weather app. My favourite replacement weather app, simple and not too much info, but the upgrade doesn't work for me. It says "not found" when I press Restore.

It's always current. No lag in the info and good data including pop, temp, wind direction and 10 day forecast. It's the best weather app that I've seen so far. Graphics are easy on the eyes too!

Don’t buy this app!!!. For the last six months, the weather is very awkward: in May it was the weather of January, the app can’t find my location or my city even if I typed it in, all the cities entered previously disappeared with the last updates, etc. So don’t buy this app. And even some publicity pop up!

Ok but not great.. To change to fahrenheit go to settings and scroll down and you'll have option to change the temperature unit.

Daily Use. I have been in Europe for nine months. I use the free app daily for temps and forecasts. I can see 3 cities by scrolling and have had no problems adding any city. Greece, Spain,Italy, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Austria.

Not reflective of reality...or other apps.. Claimed weather was sunny, while my iPhone said it was cloudy and snowing. Looking out the window, I saw that in fact it was cloudy and snowing. The airport next door reported light snow with overcast skies at 1600'. Nice interface, but inaccurate info.

Excellent. This is the best weather app I came across. Excellent intuitive user interface. Includes great help screen that a lot of apps are missing these days.

What's not to like.. It works as advertised and it's nice to see ten days ahead, nice work guys.

Inaccurate. The interface is simple and clear, but the forecast information is inaccurate. Temperatures are about ten degrees too high and the propitiation forecast is inconsistent and unreliable compared to the standard iPhone weather app.

Nope. Small view and inability to add to notification center make it worthless. There are better weather apps if you want to open an app. Not what I was looking for.

Classic weather. I am noticing that the temperature forecast lately has been about 10 to 15 degrees warmer than actuals and also higher than local TV forecasted temps. Why so far off?

Does the job. App is easy to use though all the numbers are not self-explanatory and the presentation of the info could cleaner and easier on the eye. All that said, it does the job and I use it.

Climate control. An attractive, easy to use app.

Simple and Clean. I usually just want to see highs and lows and what is happening with precipitation. This does fine with no hassle.
