Love it! Wish I could go further.. Great game. Very addicting. One issue I'm running into is collecting the Trophy for building many Gallerias. I have bought entire board out, built all the Gallerias and it still won't credit this Trophy. Which makes it impossible to complete all the skill tests. Game makes you start talking to the opponents! It's great! Just wish I could go further.

Great Game, Fortune Street on the go!. Love the Fortune Street series, and this game does not disappoint. Took me two games to get used to the controls, but I'm having a blast now. Edit: Landscape is fixed now and the game is now iPhone 5 optimized! 5-Star game!

Great game but flawed.. Very fun game just like the WII version…. But it has its issues. I don’t think the NPC’s will accept any amount of cash to sell their shops and it would help if the challenges had a description of what you need to do to beat them.

Love it to this day!. I’ve been playing this game for almost 4 years and just now realized it works with iOS 11. Originally I assumed it didn’t, but when I was scrolling through my purchases I saw the download icon was available. This works on iOS 11! Anyways, like what must people are saying, the game is a blend of monopoly mixed with some cheery joyful humor and dialogue. If you prefer to speed up the game without dialogue, then there’s a option to turn off. The game is fun and challenging, but not going to lie that I feel the computer tries to screw me in dice rolls sometimes. That aside I say the game is worth the look for that’s how I first played, then bought the full game. I also purchased a few DLC’s and while they’re bit pricey, overall I say it’s worth it. Yes people there is multiplayer. Not going to lie, I love the game 👍🏾

Amazing Port of Super Famicom Classic. Ok so a few weeks before this game came out I was trying to find an English patch for the 1991 super Famicom version of itadaki street (the Japanese title of this series) and was having no luck. Then Square Enix releases this port, and it is FANTASTIC! Basically everything I could have asked for, and only 20 dollars for the whole package, seems like a great deal. This game is HARD though, do not get it if you're afraid of losing to the CPU players, because you will. Finally, while no online multiplayer is a minor bummer, it's a port of a Super Famicom (SNES) game that needed a lot of graphical tweaks already, I'm fine with them not trying to affix a subpar multiplayer component to it. The local multi option is still intact though if you really need to play against humans, will just require you to pass device around.

Review. If you like monopoly, then you'll love this game. The game is base on spade, diamond, heart and clover. If you get them all then you go to the bank and then that's one full turn and you get your salary. The maps in this game are pretty weird/awesome. You can choose to collect the 4 items (spade, diamon, heart and clover) or just go in which ever direction you choose and let the other players land on your land. The down side to that is, they can also do the same. In monopoly you have to trade in order to get whatever pieces you can get but in this game, if they won't trade with you at all and you have the money, you can just buy their property out and own their land. If you decide to buy out their property, that's 5x what they paided for it and with their upgrades. You can upgrade two things in this game, the land which makes houses and also upgrade your stocks which makes your value's worth even higher. There's a bunch of twist with the cards, good ones and bad ones. Full version gives you more maps and more opponents if you unlock them, excluding the DLC. Opponents are based on ranks C and up. Even C ranked opponents are pretty tough to beat. They're extremely smart. The only downside to this game is that it's all against AI and you can't play against other real players. Overall, great game, better than what I was expecting.

Missing a key feature. The game runs really well but is missing one of the biggest features, the ability to play with friends. It has no way, i.e. pass-and-play, local wireless, or online, to enjoy the game with another human player. Other than that it is a great game, five stars if they add multiplayer.

Awesome. Have been playing this a while now and it hasn't gotten old. Bought all expansions, and I usually don't make in game purchases. Love itadaki street games. For updates: This game really needs to do the spheres that you get when you land on opponents. Those are so much fun! Also could use more variety of cards to draw on bingo. Also for the love of all that is good let us skip the opponents' casino time! High or low is soooo slow. Finally, online play would be awesome, but I understand that would be difficult. Just an update every now and then would be nice. More game packs please!

Helping multiplayer wanter’s. This game DOES have multiplayer, it’s just on the opponent selection screen! Up to 4 players!

Simple Concept, Tough to Master. Think Monopoly strategy with a Mario Party board/menu setup, minus mini games. The main rules are simple: purchase shops, collect money when a player lands on your shops, earn enough money to win. Seems simple enough. But the placement of your shops and the way you invest in them is how things get really strategic -- and fun! I've played through several rounds and have had a blast! The full version has plenty boards to keep a me going for quite some time, and DLC will ensure that I'll be playing this for years to come. In-game trophies also keep me striving to master my strategic skills. Overall, this is a great game. But there is one drawback: no online play. Here's hoping that will come in a future update! If you're not a big fan of board games already, there's little new here that would likely change your mind. But the basic game is free, so at least give it a chance if you're a strategy fan. You might be surprised! My friend forced me to try it, now I'm hooked!

Overall good. Overall good game but you need to buy additional packs to get all the maps and the skill test become repetitive. The game designers were very in imaginative here.

Fun and addicting!. Like others have said, it's like Monopoly, but better! The gameplay is fun and I constantly want to play just "one" more game. The AI can be tough, but not so that you can't regularly beat them. It has a cute look, but I personally wish they would have kept the original's pixel art. Oh well.

Add multiplayer. Guys! Love the app version of the cool wii game, but it lack value for me since there is no multiplayer feature.😢

Panda Award = Fully invested (3x) Zoo & Win. I waited 2 years for someone on gamefaqs to figure out and post this as the game gave no explanation on how to win the Panda Award. Just gotta win with a zoo that has been invested in fully so that is shows the icon of a “PANDA”! Sharing this for all the other stuck Fortune/Itadaki Street fans.

I love it!. I thought it was going to make me pay for everything again for my iPhone when I already bought it on my ipad, but it didn't! I love this game!

There is multiplayer, no one is looking. Prior to downloading, I read every review carefully and was sad to hear it was apparently missing a key feature. However, that key feature is already there. Start up a game and as you select the computers to play, look at the bottom left corner and there is a button titled guest. Each guest can be a boy or girl and individually named and controlled. There lies the feature that everyone is complaining is not there.

Love!. I love this game so much! Extremely well made and fun! I've never payed more than .99 for a game but just had to have the full version of this and I'm glad I bought it!

Monopoly made better. If you thought Monopoly is a great game, you need to check fortune street out. Its much more engaging, uses stocks and is overall super fun.

Great Game. If you love Monopoly or played Fortune Street on the Wii then get this game. It's amazingly addictive. Just having this game on my phone is a great addition to my collection. Highly recommend this game it's very engaging and FUN!!!!!

A rediscovered classic. From the creator of the renowned Dragon Quest series, the Fortune Street series has been an institution in Japan but has been virtually unknown in the US. A must-buy for all board game fans.

It's A Breath of Fresh Air. I bet Square is making a fortune on the DLC available for this game. This game is very easy to pick up but tough to master. I have had a blast playing it and I don't feel like making all the extra maps cost more money because the ones that come with the full app are enough to keep me occupied for a long time.

Their is some flaws. This is a great game that I love but I noticed after winning about 10 games the dice began to give me worse and worse roles and all of the cpus where getting so lucky it wasn't fair. Then I tested it with 2 real people me and my friend and we got creamed. This is a good game but it slowly gets more and more rigged and makes the odds less in your favor.

Fantastic. Great game should play if you like monopoly. It takes skill and knowing how to use the stock market as well as maintains your stores.

Give us more fortune street!. I love this game and I wish there was more fortune street in my life

Poor version of the game. Sadly you pay $5 to unlock only the opportunity to pay $5 more for half a dozen add-ons. Which you'll want to do because it doesn't unlock that much content. On top of that it's simply not a great version of the game. The basic, classic gameplay is there, like Monopoly but fun. Except not that fun because the computer players are poor, multiplayer is only pass-and-play, and the touch controls are awful. (For example the game is almost unplayable at the fastest speed because, inexplicably, touch sensitivity is tied to game speed, so you scroll faster than you can see.) If the game was a true modern version of Itadaki Street and wants trying to nickle-and-dime me I'd give it a much higher rating. Previous versions of the game are tons of fun.

Great. Is complicated. Very very fun and is challenging. Computer does not cheat, ignore comments thst says it does. If you know what you're doing can win a high percentage of the time. I will most of the time, but it takes difference skills strategy and stragies depending on the type of game I am playing. Ths is not for the light hearted. Math geeks will love it, others will hate it, and say it cannot be won. i have played over 50 games and am not remotely bored of it.

Fortune Street Smart on the go is great. I'm having so much fun with this game. I've been playing it every little chance i get. The reason i only gave it 4 out of 5 stars was because it doesnt have online play which would of made this nice game shine even more. You can however play a hotseat game 4 player style with family or friends.

What Drelbs said. I found myself losing... A LOT. But that's probably just me. As it is, I might buy the full version if I get an iPad and a version becomes available, and I'm not required to pay more than 5 dollars, and I can play online.

A good game but the computer cheats. It's a great game with a poorly programmed AI. It's designed to have them roll the die to the exact spaces they want. You can own one side of the board and they will almost always find a way to avoid shops and land on venture events. In the end, it's often not worth the trouble and frustration. Certainly not worth the money if you like to even have a chance at winning. Worse yet, the dice has a strong tendency to put you at a disadvantage with your roll. If you can just steal the game if you're jailbroken. Then you won't have as much regret once the frustration of this game sets it. It really is NOT worth your money to give the money grubbing lazy folks at Square-Enix.

best game of year ^^. Thx square enix for release this game I still waiting game like this for a long time. I hope you will release Dragon quest and finalfantasy in itadaki for iphone soon and I will buy it certainly ^_^ This is the best board game of my life and best game of year for me and everybody in the world want to buy it certainly.

No panda award info. I’m skills test there are no instructions on how to get the panda award…

Breaks my heart.. I love this game. There are many different memories I have of playing this game with close friends and enjoying some drinks. I was really hoping for online multiplayer, but this game does not support that. Only local. Second, it isn't a universal app. If these two things could be changed, I'd gladly pay whatever cost. I'd be incredibly happy!

Decent, but lacking.. The game is great. A very good addition to the Top Street series. The only complaint I have is the poorly designed AI. If this game supported either Bluetooth, local, or online, I would like that. But the game just isn't the same against an all A.I. Game.

Great game!. Okay, I was at first intimidated by Fortune Street when a game like that came out for the Wii and critics said it was extremely confusing (so I thought this would be too). But after a few rounds it's actually pretty easy to understand and a fun alternative take on Monopoly. You can buy properties and opponents have to pay you if they land on them just like Monopoly, but you can gain the opportunity to "invest" in those properties and make them cost more, buy out properties from under people, buy stock in areas to make even more money. Then you have "Venture" cards, kinda like Chance and Community Chest, where they can either help or hurt your gameplay. Playing unlocks more maps and opponents, and the DLC is nice. It's pretty fun, definitely worth the download.

It was fun. Like many people I loved the version on wii. So after playing the demo map, I figured that I could just buy the game. Little did they say you pay $4.99 and then you would have to pay $2.99 for the DLC’s and you don’t even get any new maps or characters to play against.

Oh wow. I've hit a real gem here. I highly encourage you to buy some of the extra packs, especially the last one. Hattori is adorable, and the map is really fun!

Not the same as the Wii version, BUT..... Although it lacks the character from the Wii version, it certainly has more or less the same gameplay. If you’re a fan of the gameplay itself, I’d say it’s definitely worth it. If you’re unsure, just download it and try the trial board out! 💗 And it surprisingly works well on even the latest firmware and models! Do wish Square-Enix would allow the devs to create DLC for this, though... even more boards and maybe some added similarity (or even better than) the Wii version. iPhones can certainly more than handle the upgrades! (Even if they’re graphical!)

Love the game! But.... Absolutely LOVE this game!!! Please add online multiplayer!

Still playing in 2019!. Along side the Wii Fortune Street title! Still hoping Itadaki Street Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary will be localized! 😭

Luv it. Miss a bit of the MARIO version on the wii but love all the extra awesome worlds wish we could get a new gen version on consoles

Addictive fun!. After playing a similar board game over the holidays, I was wanting to play something a little more sophisticated. The free demo was enough to convince me that Fortune Street was the game for me, so I purchased the full version. Having it on my phone is the perfect way to pass time when I'm out. Some improvements would be nice for future versions: *Online multiplayer (like the Wii version!) *Map editor (I would pay extra for a map editor!) *Universal iPad version (it looks OK on the iPad, but full screen would be nice. The iPad would better suit playing a board game with friends.) *Re-translate some dialogue/menus (some things are worded too vaguely, i.e. I was nervous about "buying" it again on the iPad, but it eventually said the purchase was free because I already bought it... some people may be hesitant to click Buy without explanation!) *Less sexy or "moe" characters (It seems like a family game, it needs more family friendly character design for Western sensibilities... so I don't feel weird playing this with family. i.e. bunny suit or maid girls) The Wii version seems to address some of these complaints, so I bought it online. Thanks for bringing these games overseas to an English speaking audience!

Fantastic!. I grew up with Monopoly, but I find Fortune Street WAY more exciting and entertaining! There are different street maps to play on with varying styles, and the characters you play against have personalities that help keep the excitement going with the funny things they say. Buying shops and trying to dominate a street can be challenging, but don't give up so easily because one good roll of the die can turn the tide of the game. Square did a great job bringing this to iOS. The music is lively, the art is great and there is plenty of street maps and characters to add even more fun as. IAP or when you win in the full version. IMHO, this is a must-buy for those who live board games.

Stupid. Removed what made it fun, Multiplayer. Plus the digital die is weighted.

Remake!!. Love this game but it needs a visual update!!

Offensive. This is the first game I ever felt was bad enough to offend me. After the amazing console versions, the makers of this game should be ashamed. Just awful. I hope someone will make an alternative clone that’s actually playable. I get so frustrated trying to squeeze enjoyment out of this mess.

Fortune Street. I love it yet I want to play as Mario and Dragon Quest characters just like the Wii version. Also I want some online multiplayer.

Awesome Game!!!. I can't begin to describe how fun and intense this game is. At first, I played it once or twice and it was pretty good, but then I started doing skill mode and quest mode and oh man. Fantastic game! It's definitely got awesome replay value. I would pay money for final fantasy characters or dragon quest characters in future DLC packs :( Square Enix always has the best games :)

I can not buy dlc. I buy full version and dlc pack 1 is ok but when i buy dlc 2,3,4,5 it show me please contact itune support to complete this transaction i use iphone4s please help thx very much i want to dq and ff in itadaki street in iphone i will buy it

Horrendously out-of-date visuals. The fonts and font sizes are all super-weird for English. I can see that style working for Japanese, but people who read the Latin alphabet have to make too many mental adjustments between fonts and font sizes.

Needs wifi connectivity.. See above title. Needs wifi play. Also why am I not getting all the maps, if i bought the full version, but now I have to buy so-called "DLC". Especially if I bought the full version? Nice game otherwise.

Fun!!. Such a fun app. It's like the anime version of monopoly mixed with some other interesting gameplay elements and twists. The music and visual of the game is really relaxing like a Sunday morning breeze. Looking forward to multiplayer options and such. Get this game folks!

As good as the Wii version!. Apart from not having Mario and Dragon Quest characters and themes, this is a fun, addictive pocket version of the well received Itadaki Street / Fortune Street series, with high quality graphics, sounds, and gameplay. It's a more advanced skill based version of Monopoly. (I recommend googling the basics of how to play/strategise).

Classic. I am a big fan of itadaki street. I was playing since ps1. It still awesome. If you could put final fantasy and dragon quest char., it will be more fun.

great :D. It's an extremely fun board game! While the tutorial explained most of the concepts the whole thing about stocks and what not did take a while to sink in and get the hang of. Once you understand everything though. Top notch :D

Wonderful!!. Truly the first time I've ever been addicted to something on my phone. The quest mode is brilliant and the various maps help keep it fresh with me. I wonder if there's a multiplayer aspect that can be explored with this.

Monopoly-like. Creative idea. Is a combination of monopoly with the added incentive of the stock exchange. Unfortunately very little risk, but a lot of luck involved. Takes a while to master the techniques involved. I dislike the Hiro character inside... Such a sly foe....

Fun!. A lot like the wii game but since the in app purchases aren't working for me, it's a really big shame...

Great!👍. It's an awesome time killer!!

Fun but difficult. This game is really fun even though it is hard but that is probably because I’m not very good at it and if you want to play multiplayer when you are selecting characters click guest, choose your icon and invite a friend to play!!!

Hmm. Okay game, but not everyone likes manga. And if the device is a family thing, we should be able to choose the character and name each time. Good game to sum it up, but I would probably like the Nintendo version better.

Boring. Like Culdcept with no monsters or spells

GREAT game!!. GREAT game!! You guys need to release a version for the iPad! Hours of fun :)

iPad?. I'd buy it if it was optimized for the iPad as well. Only in iTouch/iPhone quality

Not updated. Can’t buy full version. Aside a weird trade glitch that makes aí unable to trade it’s good. Needs multiplayer like other fortune street. But unfortunately only 1 map in free version.

Amazing but.... I am a huge fan of fortune street but I got in app purchases one one device and there is no restore in app purchases button. You guys at square need to make a restore in app purchases button.

Supercharged Monopoly. Stocks add a lot to the gameplay, making the game very fun and addictive. Highly recommended!

Best Board Game Ever. This is the best board game I’ve ever played! Imagine a better Monopoly that is skill based with so many more suspenseful and interesting dynamics! 11/10 would vote 6 stars if I could! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Do not uninstal!. I recently upgraded to a 5th gen iPod. When I reinstalled FSS, all my in-app purcases were no longer accessable. I spent good money, and can't get at my purchases any more. This is garbage.

Overall good. Overall good game but you need to buy additional packs to get all the maps and the skill test become repetitive. The game designers were very in imaginative here.

A. Imagine monopoly but more cheerful and more clever. That's Fortune Street!

Priced. Great but very overpriced. Great soundtrack

Crap. This game is sooooo bad. The AI cheats, there is no multiplayer, there is a trade feature but the AI WILL NOT TRADE. Overall it's a complete waste of time and money.

Wowow. Very fun game.

Sale price.. I'm considering buying the game but $3.99 is not 40% off. That's only 20%.

Aaaaw common guys!!!. I love the Wii version of this game and wanted to play it any time. So I was super exited wen i found this i saw oh look no mario caricatures oh well that's ok. I play it and BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! If u like the Wii version dont even waist your rime trying this one

Bad. Don't get this game

The AI cheats.. Seriously the AI in this game always roll exactly what they need. It's near impossible to win against them without just being plain lucky as the game takes no skill at all. Another garbage Square Enix game....

It's good. Yea it's a good game but could use some work

Multiplayer!. Fun Japanese-flavored alternative to Monopoly. This game screams for Bluetooth/wifi multiplayer though!

Can't buy full version?. Very fun but only one star till it lets me be able to buy the full version.

Multiplayer. It's a good game, but they should really add a "multiplayer mode" and you can choose other players in the game, like Skye or Hattori....

Don't get this. I know most of the reviews say this is so great but it's definitely NOT. I would give it zero stars if I could.👎👎👎it NEVER allows you to win

Review. Fortune street smart is based off of the original itadaki street and it's American version fortune street (wii). Fortune street pits you agents 3 others (you can't have more, you can't have less, and you can't play with a stranger over wifi but you can play with a friend using the guest option on the character selection screen) who range from skill levels d to a, d being the lowest and a being the highest. The game has you move throughout the map collecting suits and ventures and buying property. The bank is usually in the center of the map, and when you pass it, you are able to buy stocks and turn in your suits for your ever increasing salary. There is a goal, or total assets, that you or your opponents will hit, and once you reach that goal, you must race to the bank before your opponents reaches the same goal and beats you there or you dip below the goal. ( both have happen to me >.< and it doesn't matter if u had the most, it's whoever reaches the bank first with the money). If you or your opponent goes bankrupt (depending on the number of bankruptcies allowed in a game), the person with the most amount of total assets wins. It gets harder as the map changes and as you challenge different npc, and for those who can't beat the harder people or want an edge, there is a shop where you can spend coins, that you earn playing the game, to help you like, get a suit yourself card, increase/decrease max die number, and collecting coins as you move spaces. **Please note that in this game, unlike the wii version, you cannot let the computer play for you.**

Love it. This game is fun and addictive but lately it is closing randomly. It would also be better if you could earn stages like you do competitors

Messes up my menu!. I can't put it in a folder and when I try it messes up the menu!
