Sub-Standard Translations. The databases that accompany this app appear to be the last generation of translators, which were known for "pidginizing" translations into utter nonsense. When I tested standard LonelyPlanet phrase translations from English into Spanish, hilarity and non-comprehension ensued. There is no excuse for fouling-up traveller's phrases anymore. Please consider downloading Google Translate's offline database, which does a decent job with traveller's phrases thus far, and save yourself the $2.

Terrible.. The app is very confusing, and after paying, it wants you to pay another $5 for the picture photo thing. It doesn't allow you to change languages, and this app is just terrible. Do not buy.

impressive. Very professional touch and feel. Better than anything else in the Appstore. Good translation quality and a bunch of translation options, including translation of photos makes this really easy to use and very useful.

Very handy tool for travel. Many features are accessible offline, which makes this very handy when traveling in foreign countries. Some translations are nonsensical, of course, and many menu items will not be translatable or "de-coded". I have the Spanish/English version

This app does not work --please read. I just bought the paid version of this offline Eng.- to- Spanish translator app. As we are planning to travel to Spain, I thought this would be very handy to have. It has a major flaw: it launches OK, but when I touch the mic icon to speak a phrase, the app brings up my photos instead and will not allow me to access the speaking function. This difficulty occurs with my iPad 2 as well as with my iPhone 6. I am running the latest up-to-date iOS system software versions on each. I have also tried turning off both my photos and camera options in the privacy settings, t see if that would help, but to no avail. When I touch the mic icon within the app, it always just launches my photos instead. This occurs on both the unpaid and paid versions. I have requested support from Apple and from the developer and have heard nothing back. Has anyone else experienced this problem? What can I do? Please fix. Thank you.

it's good. The best app, it is easy, free and accurate! I was looking for these three qualities and I finally found them here, on this app. Gives the right translator for Spanish

Not great. When offline the microphone is turned off. Makes it very difficult when you have to type everything. There's no way to change speed of voice. No feature to copy and paste into another app. This could be a great app, but needs lots of work.

mr. very unintuitive. voice recognition is really potluck. photo text recognition is gobbledegook. these were the two main selling points - there are plenty of straight mobile dictionaries on the market.

50% of words don't translate. Annoying to use in a foreign country as only 50% of words are translated. Unreliable.

This product is crap.. This uses a horrible computer generated text to speech generator. The translation it did was poor. An example of the sheer badness if this waste of 2$ is I said "one day at a time" which it spoke as "windy at a teem"

More miss than hit. Loaded the app to help when travelling. Would only translate one phrase before locking up and shutting down. Gave it 2 stars because when my partner loaded the same app onto his phone (we both have iPhone 4), it worked... most of the time and except for the voice. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I try it in practice on Cuba!. To be honest it is totally away from what it claim. I could not explain people simple things as this translator copy half of the english words and paste it as they belowe as translated in to Spanish. This is unknowing and confusing. I not recommend this software until it improoves.
