Great app!!!!. Used this when traveling to Tokyo. Great for figuring out which rail to get on. Still needed a city map, but definitely a useful addition. Plus it's free and it stores all on the phone so no need for Internet. Doesn't have a schedule which would make it perfect.

Excellent Tokyo Rail/Metro Map. Comprehensive and free!

If you are going to Tokyo you NEED this app!. This app has made navigating Tokyo a breeze! I'm exploring the city on my own and have full confidence thanks to this app. I just refer to it in my hotel, write down which lines to take and stops to get off at and off I go!

invaluable app for travellers. not a day of our trip to Tokyo has gone by that we haven't used this nifty little app on our ipad mini. zero complaints. never crashes. extremely handy. if you're going to Tokyo with an ipad you're crazy not to get it.

Bait & Switch. At the time it possibly was a good app. Now it says support for Tokyo is discontinued and forces you to install a different app which has fewer features unless you purchase maps & miles. Maybe other cities have better luck than Tokyo

Good map. Very good and useful map

Nice. Simple and nice but I wish that it would let you zoom in more. The Japanese characters are too small and even the English isn't all that much better. Overall, though, I think it's very good.

Very hard to use. This is a basic map of Tokyo rail lines but it does not have a key to the different lines by color and letter so is virtually impossible to use. I did use it as an adjunct to another map that did have the key as this shows the lines fairly clearly once you can figure out which is which. If you only want one map, don't bother with this one.

Useful free app. Useful for navigating the Tokyo railways. An improvement would be to enable clicking directly on the map for subway or train line information. The clean interface is a plus

Keeps Crashing.. Reviews seems good however every time I open the app it crashes. So it doesn't me no good.

My Favorite Nav App For Tokyo. This app does exactly what it says it does. I've been in Tokyo for three months now and I'd be lost without it. The colors all correspond with the trains making it easier to find your line, especially in the larger stations like Shinjuku. The search feature is simple and awesome. Launches quickly, never crashes, does its job and does it well. Definitely recommend it to anyone new to Tokyo.

Crash city. This app crashes just seconds after opening. I deleted it and uploaded it again and it still crashes. I cannot even give it a proper review because of the crashing problem.

Excellent. Very useful. Would be perfect with a route finder but otherwise an excellent product.

DOES NOT INCLUDE NARITA/AIRPORT. Great app. Ads super annoying, but a very useful app if you have a solid internet connection. Downloaded the pay one and was even better w/or internet connection.

This App is awesome. Do not change anything! :). After looking through the other Apps, I finally found this one. I could not ask for more. Toggle-able Japanese characters/names, landscape mode without advertising for a larger view, searching by metro line... Includes JR, Perfect!!

Awesome. The best app!

Shows not only the subway map. This is the fourth app I downloaded to help navigate my way the Tokyo metro transportation system. I deleted the rest and kept this one because it does show only the subway lines and stops but also shows the JR lines. This made it a lot easier to find my way without having to bug other commuters to ask for help. I couldn't find some stops with the other apps.

So useful. This app is the best thing I brought with me to Japan. It was unbelievably helpful for getting around. And an Internet connection isn't even necessary. I can't give it enough stars.

Useful app for free. Great overview to navigate all the train systems. Would be better if you could zoom to more detail in the app and if the station lists had both English and Japanese names.

Good but could easily be great. quite a good little app for simply knowing how to get from A to B on Tokyo's rail network. It has the stops listed for each rail line, it would be so easy to add the travel time next to each stop like they do on the maps the railways give out. it would seem a simple thing to add a function whereby you could enter a start point and a destination and it could tell you the quickest way by rail to get there, and where you need to change trains. Another thing lacking from all rail apps and map apps for Japan is the station map with the exits marked. In Japan if you pop up out of the wrong exit you can get yourself totally lost so a map listing the exit numbers is a real necessity. I'd pay up to $5 for this kind of app so get working developers!!

Fab map. Great map - well done! Would benefit from a "trip planner" where I could enter "from" station and "arrival" station and have it map the lines and change stations for me.
