Apps Deny/Approve buttons stuck lately. This app would be adequate when it works. Sadly, as of late the buttons to approve a push notification don’t work, meaning the app is now both in a hanging state and I can’t get in to Forticloud, which is very frustrating.

It works. It works. I can't say anything more than that. It is easy to read, and it beats having to carry around a fob. One less piece of gear to forget or misplace.

Works good. I use this app everyday, it works pretty good!

It just works. Love it. It does exactly what a soft-token should do. Simple and easy to manage.

Annoying behavior. Why can't you make the app auto-focus on the only text field on the screen at app launch?

Token works half of the time. Since the update the tokens have been out of sync and only work half of the time. Sad #MakeFortiTokenGreatAgain

Fortigate forces you to use this app. No option available other than to use this Authenticator. Good app. But just another in a large sea of apps that companies think is the only option.

Needs limitations. Works fine but limit who can buy tokens. If I set up my VPN users and have them use the app I don’t want them to accidentally buying tokens. It’s convenient but not practical.

Pointless and irritating. There's no reason users should have to use this app instead of a standard TOTP/HOTP app like Authy or Google Authenticator. And it nags you to review it in the App Store. Why?! No one buys a firewall based on the mobile Authenticator app's rating. Seriously?

Make a watch app. Is it really that hard?

Good and priced right. I've found Fortinet equipment easy to admin and a great value compared to other UTM devices. FortiToken is a one time license! It has enabled our global operations to deploy OTP at half the price of others. It works, no out of phase sync issues so far. Deploying around 500 tokens in U.S.,EU, and China.

What were you thinking?. Why would they put the eye icon and the timer icon RIGHT TO EACH OTHER!?? Guaranteeing we’re gonna click the wrong one constantly. Just move it over a little!!!

Love this app!. This is used by all remote users at my job.

Works great!. I use it every day. Works find for me.

Makes it easy. With now being able to have more then one token on the screen it makes my job slightly easier.

Very handy. Works well and is easy to bring up. I like the improvements to the countdown graphic. Might be easier to read with a full pie instead of just the pie borders.

It works.. Allows fingerprint authentication and is easy for end users. Requires little to no training. Enough said.

Does its job. Does what you expect it to but needs an aesthetic makeover. Looks very dated. Im literally having to deploy azure mfa even though we have fortiauthenticator because none of leadership like the look of this app.

You're kidding me. Forced to used the app due to work, and then it has the gall to ask for a rating on the App Store? I wish they would give me a physical token instead so I could delete this app.

Unnecessary. A normal 2FA implementation that lets a standard authentication app be used would be preferable. Requiring a custom all for this is unnecessary and only fragments and confuses things for users.

Great App. This app and the corresponding next generation firewall is absolutely superb. Works as advertised. Would love to have an Apple Watch version.

Getting Better but not yet. Key dates (last updates) need to be displayed. Ability to delete old keys is important. Multiple site access would be a future requirement; how would I know which is which? App works well for enterprise use; however, this app needs to mature quickly. First time use, had to remove app to remove an old key. Display needs to do something like captcha text so that no over the shoulder keys are taken

No Apple Watch option?. Really need an Apple Watch option to increase ease of use since my watch is always on my wrist and my phone is not always right on me.

Does the job. Not the easiest in the world to setup but once you do it works well, especially with the newer gui updates. This app is SCREAMING for Apple watch support.

Requires a pin now!. Latest app update requires you to create and then enter a pin in order to get your token pin. Extra unnecessary step. Really stupid!

Good app, needs an Apple Watch version!!!. App works perfectly for my OTP logins. But this functionality would be so much better on apple watch. The watch is much more akin to a physical token and a natural for this app. Please develop!

Requires purchase of token license. This is basic security functionality that should be included for free in fortigate. Totp requires absolutely no maintenance costs on fortinet's side so this is an embarrassing cash grab that puts customers at risk.

WASTE OF TIME. Please do not get this for your business. It’s a complete waste of time and such an extra hassle for no reason. Just create a password in your windows or max and that is good. This is so very annoying especially if you’re sharing computer with coworker or get a new phone it is the dumbest thing invented.

Please remove the key password. The product is good, but never received a message with an update coming soon with readme notes. The store pushed the change and forced me to creat key password. Everything things seems to be now password after password. It is annoying. iPhone password, login password can this be more easy to use. The password prompt time out every 30seconds. Please remove

It needs Apple Watch Support as well. It would be great to see this app support the Apple Watch to get the token right on the watch! Thanks!

Watch version cannot approve token. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but when your notifications appear on my Apple watch, I select “Approve” but it does not validate my login. Can you fix?

Bypass App PIN. Can we still require Touch ID to access TokenApp? Why remove security from app because the user has unlocked their phone via PIN or Touch ID? I feel less secure now.

Great at providing token. It does exactly what I need it to do, provide a token on my iPhone.

Push notifications. The Push Approve and Deny Button fails often.

DOES work with iOS 8. Works great with iOS 8, not sure what other reviewers problem is. Works great for me, awesome tool!

Nice improvement. New version allows you to see multiple tokens on the screen. Only 4 stars bc I keep getting a warning popup since i changed phones: If you are attempting to restore FortiToken on a new device, for your protection you must delete and reinstall tokens I deleted and reinstalled my tokens and they are working well. Now pls make this annoying popup go away.

Frustrating to use. The app freezes most of the time when the push notification goes out so that I can't click approve/deny to log in.

Push Notifications not working. Since latest update push notifications are not working

It used to work on MacOS, but no more. iOS app worked great on my MacMini M1. When I tried it on MBP M2 it was hopelessly confused. Now doomed to using a secondary device. Zero cheers. Two cheers for SonicWall; slightly less persnickety. Three cheers for VPN settings that work with macOS network utility. ∞ cheers for a properly configured FQDN!

Best authenticator app. App is simple to use and extremely secure

For beginners. I just got a Fortigate Firewall, set everything up, was able to make credentials for users. Works like a charm documentation for my final for school very easy set up good for learning. Don’t get me wrong. I wish it had a push identification for Apple Watch that just means I need to set up an RSA authentication on server. 😊😆

No watch app ☹️ ☹️ ☹️. iPhone app: the hit box for the eye icon to see the number needs to be larger. Find my self tapping slightly off and it bringing me to an info page instead of showing me the numbers. Also no watch app. Make a watch app.

Cannot tap on “allow” request. I get a push notification to allow connection but fortitoken does not let me tap it does no do anything when try to tap on allow :(

App Crashes on when first open. Bug fix needed, app crashes on opening for the first time, every time. Open again and it works

Apple Watch. Can you add this to Apple Watch? That would be nice!

MFA options. If you are forcing MFA, you should allow alternative MFA applications, not just this one. I don’t want multiple MFA apps.

Apple watch. It would be nice if this would be available on an Apple watch. Now that would be convenient like the Microsoft Authenticator

UX improvement needed please. This app performs one simple task. Functionally it does so very satisfactorily (it's quick, accurate, doesn't crash, etc). But why is it, that with an app whose sole function is to disclose a token allowing VPN access, its default behaviour is to hide that token so that you have to perform an extra tap EVERY SINGLE TIME to reveal it???? It drives me mad.

Good for Remote Work. Seems to be working

Must build tap-copy. They must build a feature like other authenticators where you tap on the code and it copies it. Instead, you have to hard press and then click copy. Very bad use of my valuable time.

Does not work with 5.2. Product does not work with 5.2 FortiOS and IOS 8. Caution. You will get locked out and not get back in if you have this enabled. Setup backup admin account without 2 factor before testing.

Copy. Please change the copy mechanism so that you can tap to copy not long press it. Or even a shortcut in home page to copy it.

Doesn’t work on iOS.. I installed this app and it’s crap. It can’t find a token if there’s any text around it. If you download a token image and display it on a black or white background, the app recognizes the token, but tries to acquire it before the camera can focus, resulting in a blurry image that the app can’t read. The app prompts you to try again, and again immediately grabs the camera frame before the camera can focus. This is simply unusable.

Great App with a Suggestion. Update 2020-08: Thank you for adding the search feature! This is helping me every work day! I support 15+ sites (and growing). Scrolling through every one to find the site token I need has become more difficult. If a simple search feature was added allowing me to search for the custom label I’ve given the token it would help greatly. I’m thinking just after the app opens showing the tokens a light scroll up reveals a hidden search bar. This is similar to how the iPhone iMessage search works. Appreciate the attention to app development for our ease of use.

Can’t Approve Push. I’m not the only one with this issue where I get prompted by the app to approve the login request but can’t. The Approve or Deny window pops up in the app and selecting either option does nothing. The window simply hangs there and I have to close and reopen the FortiToken app to type in the code manually which defeats the purpose of the push. Same issue happened on iOS 16 and is still here on iOS 17

Apple Watch. The app does what is needed but I get tired of pulling out my phone to get the code. I wish there was an Apple Watch version as that would make it more convienent. Better yet, just have it prompt you on the Apple Watch to approve or not so you don't have to type in a code!

Tap to view - serial number? Seriously?. If you don’t tap EXACTLY on the eye icon you get redirected to a useless page that shows the serial number and issuing device. Why. Why would you even do this. Mayyybe once or twice in your life you’d need to see the token serial number. Literally the primary use of this app is to view the code. So why are you making it difficult? Also - the Fortinet logo across the bottom of the screen is blurry which is completely unacceptable. It’s 2021 not 1996. Please.

Closed source and exploitive.. Check out pfsense and openvpn instead. Fortinet nickel and dimes you for every checkbox you enable.

Works as expected. Just works, is reasonably easy to set up. It would be nice if the QR code reader could tap into the email client and see the png file. Otherwise you have to be sitting at work to provision. But it works great and is an excellent two factor authentication solution.

Solid app. Solid app that does what it’s supposed to. Prompt login doesn’t work great on Android.

App Crash. This app crashed after upgrading.....

FAIL. This app has one job - store and manage a token. Upgraded to iOS 7 and my token was deleted. Upgraded app for iOS 7 compatibility and my token was deleted again. Use google authenticate unless you need this for work.

Broken. App broken won't activate says Json error mobile hash Id when scanning or enter codes manually pointless app for now

Not compatible with iOS 8. After 5 months of being available as a beta and having been released publicly more than 6 weeks ago this app does still not work with iOS 8. Support says they have no planned release date for an update. Go figure why I am paying money for support, maintenance and the tokens themselves. There were no such issues with all the other two factor token apps used by Google, Amazon Facebook and others.

Not able to scan QR Code. App - does not crash but does not access camera to scan QR Code - instead I get a black square - tried uninstalling and installing again - the app does not ask for permission to use the camera - so you have to go find the app under settings and enable ACCESS TO CAMERA - works fine from there.

Not impressed. Buggy and annoying.

No capture screen for QR code. After granting access to my camera there is no capture box for the QR code. I’ve deleted the app 4 times now, allowed notifications to be on, and made sure the camera was toggled on. Nothing works, please fix.

Works Like A Champ. Installed the token app on my iPhone 6 Plus. Scanned the bar code and all works... Way easy.

Watch app please. Would be super helpful if your app worked with Apple Watch and or had a widget on home screen of iPhone. Annoying to have to unlock my phone and open the app every time I needed a code. Please help
