needs more instruction. it seems to have Mind of its own couldnt make it drop pins where i wanted wish i knew how others made it work as they seemed to like it I installed and removed it twice since thought i was just missi g something. but still couldnt get the distance between the cities I wanted.

Great App!. This app does exactly what I want and what it says. A few things for the developer to make it 5/5: - When trying to save an image, the app crashes. I have to text a pucture of it to myself to save - Have the ability to switch on/off the blue auto-locator, and the pinpoint vertical/horizontal lines - Have the ability to rename saved paths I still really like this and is very useful. I can live without a search area, but would definitely enjoy having it available.

Useless. Only shows distance the way a crow flies. Doesn't show driving distance.

New update is HORRIBLE. New update had a poor layout. -why can't we turn off the dumb "auto locate" feature? -why can't we lock "north up" feature? Please have someone that actually uses this app do the next update. Can't wait to finish this review and then delete the app. Peace.

Good App. All this app needs is the ability to print.

Adverts. Is there a paid version? Adverts are quite annoying.

Not functional. Why can't I search an address and then pin it from there? You're expected to know where on the map you want to pin and then drop it there, which makes no sense since if you're like me, you haven't memorized the world's Atlas. Like another user said, you have to know the lat/lon to edit. Not a functional app at all!

Great simple distance calculator. Easily calculate the distance between two locations on a map instantly, or find the distance along a custom route which you can create with multiple line segments. Great, elegant, and simple

Constant crashes. Crashes every time I try to export my map as an image. Thanks for wasting 2 hours of my time since that’s how long it took for me to make my route on the map.

Great app, perfect!. This is perfect if you want to drop multiple pins along a route to measure out the distance. I figured out exactly what my run distance was (1.95 mi, I was guessing 2). Long story short, great map, easy to use features, multiple plotting pins. Couldn't ask for more.

Point to point. Great app because u can hit the + at each turn to get a very accurate measurement.

Completely useless app. This app is completely useless. Cannot search with it. You are expected to know exactly where to drop your pin. If the location is unknown to you, then you have some homework to do in Google Earth or Maps so you can come back to this app and drop your pin in the desired location. When it does give an estimate, it is straight line only, completely ignoring road routes. This might be better suited for pilots if it didn't frequently crash. It also saves coordinates to a list that you cannot rename for convenience sake. Just a big list of coordinates......until it crashes and wipes out minutes or hours worth of saved data. Don't waste your time on this one.

Two Major Flaws. This app does what it says it will do. The two problems I found are 1) The only way to enter a position is to scroll the map. You can't enter coordinates nor can you search for a location by name. 2) You can't measure distances across the Pacific, such as between California and Japan, because you can't scroll the map much farther than Hawaii.

Do not get it!. It does not save your distances.

Top Notch Tool. I use this all the time. Does what is says for a few puny ads. If you have seen my other reviews elsewhere, you know I don't give this praise easily.

Great tool!!. I love this app and use it often. A great measuring tool. I use it to get a comparison of my local airstrip to one else where, where the landing area is not published by the FAA. I've used it to set boundaries for a search and rescue of our lost grandchild. Some of the other reviews i read are trying to use it like a map app. IT MEASURES STRAIGHT LINES OR MULTIPLE LINES! I love the undo more than the trash can (remove all) to only remove the last or last two or three pins to realign them or to hone in on the extract distance from start. Lots of uses as a measuring tool!

Please fix this ASAP. I cannot put more than a few pins down before it switches off. And it's not my phone because the other applications don't do that. Please contact me and explain why this is happening. But also fix it ASAP. It "would be" a great application if it didn't do this but I can't really give it a favorable rating as long as I'm unable to use it. Matt

Don't like this one. Pinning not accurate. Can change the pin only if you have longitude/latitude , etc. need something easier to use.

Traffic management. Working in traffic management this app is great for when I have to set up a site on the fly for emergency works or a rolling taper that's moved to far from the lane stats. Thanks for the great app.

Just what I needed!. Love this app for tracking distances. I can see how far it is to get where I need to go or keep track of how far I am walking and biking. I live the ability to save my routes. I would give it 5 stars if I could rename the routes that I have saved an give them names. Thanks for the help with tracking my fitness!

Exactly what I looked for. A detailed way of measuring the distance of a prospective route. Simple and to the point. Now where is the paid version to get rid of the ads? I'd be more than happy to pay (a reasonable amount).
