Beautiful artwork!. My 3yr old nephew loved the story, simple enough to keep his attention. He also kept looking at every page's drawing and "reading" what happened next. His 6 yr old brother read along with us and liked the pictures, but said the story was for babies :) Be aware this is more an ebook than an app, does not include games, but worth it anyway for the artwork and story.

Love it!. my 2 year old loves this book! We use the read to me! The illustrations are so vivid & it holds his interest! It is short & sweet & relatable. He is just the perfect age for this book. He got a sad face when the frog cried & liked when the frogs played cars! Lol I would definitely recommend this book.

Not interactive. There is nothing for a child to interact with. Kiddo touches all over the screen and nothing happens except for a page turn. This is an ebook, not an interactive book.

Cute, but overpriced. Got the book for my 4 yr old grandson. While he liked the story, he even commented on how short it was. Good illustrations, but there are better choices.

My 4 yr old enjoys this book. This is our first electronic book. He loves being read to in this one. The reading voice is perfect. The back ground noise made it more interesting. Yes there were a few issues BUT I don't think this will stop his intellectual growth. He even drew a picture of the frogs playing afterwards. And at our house...we play with cars and tracks! So even though I wondered if it was a mistake, my child did not. Thanks for a good book!

Purple frog great story. My girls and I love the story. I like how it is to the point about differences being okay. Pictures were cute. My 6 year old daughters love the story and my 3 yr old daughter loves it too and can activate story by herself.

Ok. The story reminds me of the ugly duckling. This app is just a short children's book. I think it really needs to have more content for the price. Some games or puzzle would add value.

Needs QA. Punctuation and grammatical errors. Cars and tracks sounds weird; no one plays with tracks anymore.

Great learning tool. for kids that is, it is great for my kids, they love it, the graphic and the great narration on spelling and stuff, although it is a bit short and it is finised rather quickly

Good job. This book and features are fantastic. My grandson loves to read this book over and over again. His reading has greatly improved. I need to find more books just like it.

Pretty Good But Needs More. This is a bit of a tough call. On one hand, the illustration is extremely well done, the sentiment/moral of the story is good, and voice talent is refreshingly different and not condescending. But the only interactivity provided is the story words. There is nothing to explore in the wonderful art, and given other digital book offerings available, the story may be engaging for only the youngest of readers. Still, a nice little story with an appropriate message.

Purple Frog. This is a charming story about differences, acceptance and friendship. I love that it uses simple words for the beginning reader and it doesn't have all the distractions as the interactive stories do. I wish there were more apps out there like this one!

Must have App. I would have to say when I got this app it was free but I don't know if it still is. I have a 2 and 3 yr old they love it! They take turns turning the page as it reads to them. Every night they ask " daddy can you read purple frog?" I wish they had more books or a collection. My kids even tap the word to hear it spell it to them love it!

Very good👍. Very good storyline and message for the little ones. Artwork is great and the narrators voice is soothing. It's overall a relaxing experience to have the book read for u by the guy :)

Purple Frog. We need proper English in our children's books. Page 8 should read, "I wish I were purple."

A simply beautiful story. The story is quite simple but very nicely done. The music and narrations are relaxing and better than so many other narrated stories. The illustrations are lush and colorful. I also liked the option to touch each word and hear the word spoken. The word can also spelled out loud if you wish. The story is short enough that those with short attention spans will stay engaged.

Great. Super artwork!! I have a frog theme in my classroom so this will be a perfect story to share. As for the people complaining about the "cars and tracks" did you look at the pictures? That is all that is pictured, cars and tracks. There are not any trucks. Keep up the good work!

Had to delete. The artwork was beautiful, but the grammatical errors ruined this app for me. Also, it DOES NOT teach punctuation, as advertised.

Wonderful. I don't normally write reviews but I have to say this is such a cute story. The sound quality and illustration is top notch. The moral is fantastic. Length is not too long great for holding a preschoolers attention.

Letter By Letter. Great story, gorgeous illustrations. Being able to tap on any word to see it spelled out letter by letter helped my Son (4 yrs.) learn how to read. Now 5, he's reading level 3 books already.

Purple frog. This is a great program. My granddaughter just loves this and watches it many times a day and she is only 1. I know she does not understand the message but she follows the words and loves the great pictures. Wish you would come out with more read to me books with such great messages.

Wow!!! Top notch quality. I can't believe the quality of this book. My little boy has loved the purple frog from 3 to 11 months and I really want to thank the creator for the top notch effort. Purple frog has bright pictures, crisp music, subtle ambience and hey guess what no glitches ever on my ipad 4. I've purchased about 60 dollars worth of Disney and the dr. Seuss books. They are boring and long with poor narration, not to mention my son doesn't care about them at all. When purple frog comes on it is a treat. My son lights up and is 100% engaged in the story. The learning features this book provides should be mentioned as well. You can touch the words and individual letters to help your child learn to read and for me (a home schooling parent) That is priceless.Oh and the narrator has a wonderful kids book voice and very expressive reading techniques. Parents! this is where you start. Buy this before the Disney stories you like because this app was made to educate and engage your child's creative side not a book put into a digital format. To the creator, Please invest time in other books if at all possible and if you are a small operation open a donation link. I have wasted money on app books for my son so many times I would love to see more content of this caliber. Thank you!

Nice lesson. I am a kindergarten teacher and I think the lesson in the story is very appropriate for the children. The pictures, as well as the language, are wonderful, too. I would love to see more stories like this one!

Highly recommend. I love the story and how it is presented. The voice for the read to me story is so easy to listen to. I like how when you read it yourself and come across a new or difficult world, when tapped, says the word, spells the word and repeats the word again. The children love having this story over and over again. Now to find more like it please.

Cute simple story.. Not terribly impressed with the audio syncing. Nice graphics & story. Best in the "read it myself" part where you can tap on a word to hear it & have it spelt out.

Wonderful little book, excellent message!. I highly recommend this book. It's a very nice little short story with a great message! There needs to be more books like this with these types of messages. I like the narrator's voice too ...it's clear, calm & he embodies the frog. I also like that when my 4 year old reads it by himself the words highlight as he taps along....this is a great technique for them to visually see the word that is being spoken & embeds in their minds. The only thing I don't like about the "read by yourself" section is that the words spell out far too quickly. It's a great concept, but a bit more delay is needed because little fingers are not always so quick to tap the next word - especially when they're showing Mum a beetle on the page. But this is a minor peeve. That said, I really do hope the maker does more books like this & that the narrator gets to do more too. I will be watching out for it. Thank you for making this book.
