Nice. This is a very helpful edition. I've subscribed to several Hazelton's books and this is my favorite!

Remarkable. Somehow these daily meditations always seem to speak directly to me. They speak hope and reassurance constantly.

Everyday enrichment for the spirit!!!. Love the app! Worn out my paperback copy since June of 2008 when I got sober. I buy the book for all my sponsees. It is a great daily reading for any man in recovery.

Touchstones. I have been using Touchstones for 20+ years. It remains a corner stone of my daily contemplative readings. I frequently give the hard copy as a gift. I am really enjoying the electronic version.

I love the daily readings, more features would be appreciated. I love checking out the readings daily. It definitely helps me keep mindful about how I frame my life in my mind. It’s easy to fall off the wagon of reading it daily. I would love it if it was possible to push a button and have it read out loud to me either by an author, another reader, or minimally Siri, Although she does not seem to understand what she’s reading. Sometimes it’s nice just to hear it and reflect on it. Also I find when I hear other people reading, it helps me view things in a new light.

Almost Perfect. Touchstones has been my lifeline for 20 years. I have been waiting for it to come out in this format, very much appreciated and grateful. It would be wonderful if you could add the feature to highlight text and type in notes. Touchstones has taught me it is not a perfect world.

It’s a great way to start my day. I use this as part of my morning prayer and meditation routine. It’s been very helpful and beneficial.

This is a great app!. This is the first review I've written for any app. This is a great book, and the ability to have this with me on my iPhone and iPad is just plain great. I love that I can easily email family/friends with some of the great daily readings.

I don't start my day without Touchstones. It took me a while to start "book ending" as part of my 12-Step Recovery. I read Touchstones and three other Hazelden books every day! If my day isn't going great, I read them again! They help to shift my thinking about life and people.

Recovery. Positive vibes help keep me moving in direction of recovery and spiritual aid to achieve my daily goal.

Thank you. I am a recovering alcoholic as well as food addict. And this is of course coincidence, but it seems on my weakest days this app sends me the exact Reading and meditation at just the right time that I require. Thank you.

Long time reader. I've had a print copy for many years and now like having a copy close by at all times.

So great!. So much easier to read an iPhone app during workday than a small book. The book itself is a classic! Have gifted it to several friends. They love it too. Perfect pricing too.

Gives me an intention for the day. Puts me in a good frame of mind in the morning. It could use some technical updating though, like notifications. Sometimes I get out of my routine and forget to read. A little red 1 on the icon would be a great reminder!

DTM. The most helpful and amazing tool for building and maintaining ones spirit. Having this app @ my fingertips gives me the chance to center myself and remain focused. A real blessing!!!

Touchstones. Great app. I've bought two hard copies of the book and lost track of both, so it's great to have the app and I refer to it frequently.

Book review. I have used this book daily for the last 24 years and delight in the fact that each day I get to get more insight and support. The Iphone edition is so easy to use and lets not have to carry the book. Thanks!

A must for recovering men!. Not a scientific poll, but it seems most men in AA use Touchstones as a part of their daily spiritual meditations. This app is easy to use and worth the typical Hazelden price.

Mikeymd. Great stuff. I too would like a little more flexibility in the interaction with the software. Particularly on mobile devices. Ability to send a page to a sponcee on the road etc.

My morning go to meditation. Each day this is my first in a series on daily reading and meditation. For a recovering person this is a great app.

Just right!. This devotional is good for men in general. The focus is on sex addiction recovery, and it is EXCELLENT for that use, but the content is good for all men. Just like the 12 steps are just a good way for anyone to live by, this devotional book can easily be used more broadly.

A must read. I have been reading Touchstones faithfully for my entire sobriety and still learn something new everyday.

Great Daily. Incredibly convenient way to keep a daily meditation with me, every day. I love the book and love the app even more. It is great to share with friends.

Amazing app. This app has done more for me than the developer could ever know. I always have loved the readings out of the actual book but having this app on hand gives the ability to take time out at any point of the day to take myself out of my own head. My favorite daily reader. Dreading this book for years now. Never disappoints. It’s my favorite daily reader! The app is straight forward, I wish it had a little more functions, like creating your own multiple subfolders and saving certain days in them vs to just having one “favorite” bookmark option. Inspirational. What better way to start your mornings than with some positive meditations to reflect on. It often carries me through my day.

1st Rodeo. This is my first ride in sobriety. This book was a daily tool in rehab and remains a part of my everyday routine.

Hazelden Touchstones. I obtained my first copy of this book in 1986. At that time Hazelden offered a very well produced audio tape of selections read from the text. I am not certain whether the tape is still in publication but I highly recommend it. This may be the best written book in the meditations series and is the first such book that is not pop psychology nor positive thinking/secrets of success promises. (All of the Hazelden Meditation Series books have earned this distinction.) I have always wondered who this talented and thoughtful writer was, however, since it is written for recovering addicts I assume that the author maintains anonymity according to the tradition of the Twelve Step programs. I heartily recommend this book for all who desire to grow emotionally and spiritually. It is also an excellent companion to carry when traversing rocky periods in one's life.

Great daily reflections book. I was delighted to find this app. I love the book and reading it everyday is a great way to go through each day. As previously mentioned, it would be great to see features that allow the reader to highlight, make bookmarks and add notes. Hopefully an update with these features.

Great stuff!. This is a wonderful publication! It's amazing to me how much good it does to start my day off with a quick, positive message. It would be a nice additional feature if I could search the book for a certain topic.

Excellent Tool!. Excellent App! Only complaint is you can't highlight passages for review later. Maybe in a future update? Otherwise it's great to not have to lug another book around.

Program Manager. This is a wonderful source of calming, thoughtful and relevant meditations. I find that nearly every entry resonates with me. It has been "just what I needed to hear" more often than not. I highly recommend it to anyone, including those not "in recovery."

Daily reader!. Touchstones has been a daily part of my recovery from addiction. I love it!

Speaks to my heart. A meditation that I can identify with. Much better than most and even better than some of the "conference approved" books. And I always have it with me. I can start my day over whenever and where ever I want.

Read it almost every day. Readings often contain something that I really need to hear that day.

Awesome App for Recovery. I start every morning reading the daily reflection in this App. It helps ground me for the day and is helping me stay sober. I highly recommend adding this to your daily routine. Prayer, meditation, gratitude list, pages 86-88 and these passages. Then jump into a morning meeting! God bless.

Impressed. This app is very important to my sobriety. Every morning when I wake up it is the first thing that I pick up. It is a pivotal part of my morning routine and it always seems to fit in the scheme of my day. Thanks for a great tool.

Great for the on-the-go person. I love having this on my phone. I've always forgot my hardcopy and this has enabled to to keep it with me all to time so I can read and re-read the days meditation as needed.

A BETTER PERSON. This book has helped me to become a better person on a daily basis. All you have to do is listen to its wise words from so many. I'm a captain on an offshore supply vessel and read a verse to my crew daily in hopes that it will make us all become better people and remind us not only where we've come from but more importantly, where we are going in life... Mr.. Touch-stones is a sound self-help study. A great companion to a 12-step program. Perfect for men because it talks about topics we encounter on a daily basis.

Recover. Even though I have read the Touchstones in print for many years it is great to know that I have it with me on my ipad when needed.

Valuable. No app provides me with more useful fuel in my daily life.

Take it with you. Can always have my meditation with me and can email meditation to a friend with a note. Great app!!

As an app, it's OK. Irritating self-promoting splash screen. Just get to the thought of the day, already! Other than that, it works fine.

First is the AA daily meditation, then to 24 Hours (Hazelden) and then last, but not least, to Touchstones. Often I send it along to sponsee and my son in the program. iOS 10 problem. Love the app but when I upgraded to iOS 10 the type shrunk to a size that is almost illegible and I have it on the highest type setting. PLEASE FIX MY FAVORITE APP.
