Really disappointed. I’ve had this app for years and loved it because there was so good material to read. I even bought the premium subscription because it was awesome at the time. I used to read anything I wanted for free because of the premium subscription. Except of course the newer chapters that required gems or coins. I had stopped using the app for a great while and decided to start using it again. Little did I know that there was a lot that has changed and new updates were implemented. Now even with my premium subscription I feel like a regular user because I’m having to pay in gems really early in the chapters. Like I might as well not have a premium subscription. And my biggest disappointment would have to be that before I stop using the app for a while I had read some major comics that had 200+ chapters and thats where i left off on some of them. When I started previously using the app again I wanted to refresh on some of the comics that I have already read up to 200+ but only found great dissatisfaction when i had to buy all previous chapters that i have already read! I understand that authors need to get paid for the work and I respect that. But I just want to know why I have to pay for material that I have already read before.

This app is a ripoff. As an artist I understand wanted to get paid for their work but I would never rip off my audience. If I am making a comic that has always been free but then I want to start making money off of it, I would have still made sure that there was a way for my audience who have been there from the beginning a way to still read it without ripping them off of their money. The app doesn’t even make it worth it to spend your money, whereas on Webtoon I can say that spending some of the money that I work for is worth spending for those amazing stories. But Webcomics does not make it worth it ALL. It’s a shame how good this app used to be and how good the stories used to be but if there isn’t a solution to this problem then I will be deleting this app soon. Even though I wish I could finish some comics that I’ve already started, I hate being ripped off for no reason. Also don’t give me that same response on how the authors want to be paid, you should make sure that the authors actually has an actual reliable payment method that’s also fair to the readers, since you keep saying that it’s the authors that require these payments then control the authors. Make sure that they are actually using reliable payment methods or at the very least have ways where we can earn gems so that we can read those stories that are just that’s making us pay for a comic all of a sudden that I’ve reason for years news.

Rushing the artists!. First off, I love this app. Amazing stories and the interface is really clean and easy to use. I pay for plus and the cost isn’t unreasonable. Cons: I frequently can tell that the authors have been rushed to pump out chapters and to complete their series. The story starts amazing, then you force an up spree or ending and the quality of the stories drops tremendously. I understand that people are impatient and you want to please the paying customers but this is a huge issue. I have read so many stories that have been ruined by forcing them to produce faster than their creative minds naturally produce material. It isn’t something that can be rushed so hastily. You aren’t giving the authors time to really make sure the stories are where they should be. This sacrifices the quality of the stories. It’s infuriating and I’m sure you are also damaging the authors mental stability. Please give the authors the time they need. This is a toxic situation for all the employees and the readers are left with a rushed and uncomfortable ending.

the gems.... This is the SECOND time i wrote a review! I usually never write them but i really was bummed after knowing of the gems.. I have been using this app ever since it came out! I was so excited to be able to read FREE mangas.. I use to read on my iPad but my iPad broke and i hated reading it on my phone because it had a bigger screen but i tried to adjust to it..but then I deleted it because I didn’t use it that much as time went by! I downloaded the app again excited to read some manga but i was a lil disappointed about the gems! I would buy it from time to time but I’m a underage girl who doesn’t have a job.. so it was frustrating when I ran out of gems and had to read the free chapters until i had enough money from family members to buy more gems.. I know authors need money but its really hard for us underage people to buy gems when we have no job and we will lose interest into the app and go to another one. I will continue using this app but i really hope you guys will do something about this! I really do love this app! And i know there is a other way to get gems but for some reason it’s not working for me, but it always says its failed to load! Please fix this if you can and thank you!ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

Not accessible to readers. I’ve very recently downloaded this app in hopes to expand my library of webtoons and was very excited when I first started using it. Similar to webtoon, webcomics has a daily pass for long completed works but that’s where the similarities end. I understand and encourage supporting authors with things like fast pass and early access but this app is ONLY accessible for people who have money. No matter that completion status of the series, it gives you a preview of the first few chapters and traps the rest behind a paywall. It’s terrible for those of us who don’t have to funds to pay for every individual chapter we read. I love and respect all of the authors who have uploaded their hard work onto this app but how can I enjoy your series when I don’t have the money for it?? I won’t be using this app for the time being and will be switching to webtoons and other webcomic apps that know how to support both the readers AND the series authors. I really hope this app can be accessible to everyone, I really did like it.

Missing, But Needed Tags. I reviewed this app a couple of times now, and so far, everything that I previously had an issue with has been resolved! Thank you so much for that! However, there was an issue that I wanted to address when it comes to the comics. Usually, authors may omit or forget to add certain tags that need to be posted on the summary section of a comic, though as of right now the only tag that I have noticed to be overlooked is the harem tag. I’ve noticed a lot of comics tend to go this route, yet the authors fail to let readers know beforehand—when they read the summary. This is an issue because some readers, such as myself, do not prefer this type of comic. I like to read the summary before adding it to my downloads so I know for sure that what I’m about to read is within my preferences, but I feel that it’s misleading to not add a tag to the story when it’s clearly one that the story will follow. I know the authors are allowed to add as many tags as they want to, so I think there’s no reason for one to be missing when it could have been added. I’ve read a few comics now that have been examples of this issue, and I’ve noticed some readers will argue in the comic’s comment section whether or not the comic will be a harem; the ones who are against it pointing out that there was no harem tag in the summary, but the ones for it pointing out the one male lead and the multiple women surrounding him who all want to be with him. If the authors of these comics would put every tag their comic will follow in the summary then this wouldn’t be an issue.

New Update ruined everything!. I love this app and have been using it for a very long time with no issues. I was able to get a sufficient amount of coins each day so that I could read my favorite comics. The stories are great and there is tons of content. Usually I would check in and be able to get at least 100 coins, but now check in is only 30 coins. How do you expect me to read my comics with that kind of currency? Some comics are 20 to 30 coins per chapter. This actually is making me stop using the app and just use WEBTOON instead. Also don’t get me started on gems. I have no problem with gems because I understand that they help to support the artist, but like other artists on here have said creating content on here, your ripping off the readers with how much we have to pay to read. I’m sad to see this app change and now I will most likely delete it because of this new update. Your losing people here that don’t want to pay boat loads of money to read comics. I would rather put my money towards something more beneficial .

Edit. I love this app I don’t have to worry about not getting to finish a book because I have to pay. It has so many endless suggestions to read and talented artists. Overall I recommend this app to anyone who loves to read. Edit: I have been using this app for a couple years now and yes I did love this app but this newest update I absolutely despise. The previous subscription it made sense to pay a fee and then you got to read everything for free still getting to pay the artist for their hard work, but this new subscription plan that they have I hate it. I can’t freely read as much and as many chapters as I want and if I finish all my gems which all the books apparently require nowThen I have to spend even more money to try and enjoy the books that I read. To be honest I’m very disappointed because I used to rave about how all the other reading Apps need to look at what web comics is doing and follow their subscription plan idea but now I am not happy at all.

Annoying.. I got on the app to read Cherry Blossoms in Winter and there was a promotion to get 8 hours reading time for $2.99. So I did that and finished the comic. Then my eight hours was up and I discovered the gem system. Developers, this is absolutely miserable. There's no straightforward way to understand how any of it works. Too many currencies (various tickets, coins, gems, and the descriptions of what they do are confusing). It seems that to read 60 chapters I'd need to spend $20 in gems. And some of these comics are 300 chapters long. Then you have to keep reloading the gems to keep reading, which takes you out of the comic to do. No way to see how many gems or tickets you have left as you read when they automatically deduct from your account. Very annoying. I'd rather buy access to a comic with an upfront cost or pay for a subscription that allows me unlimited reading. The gem system is putting me off. I will not be continuing to use the app. Edit: got a response from the developer but it doesn't address my issue. I would rather buy a comic outright than buy gems. I would love to support the author, I would just prefer the most straightforward way to do it. Keep in mind that literally no one wants to pay $600 a year for a subscription and clearly a ton of reviews here mention that they hate the system you have now. Please reconsider a subscription service that people can afford. If you make the costs accessible, more people will join a subscription. If more people join, you make more money. If you make more money, people will support the authors. What I want is a chance to buy the comic outright or to pay for unlimited reading via a subscription. It's not hard. Until these options are available I don't want any part of this app.

Coins. I absolutely love this app! Though, I’m not a fan of the coin thing, I would still recommend this app to people who don’t mind it. For those of you who don’t know what coins are..For each chapter I believe you have to use coins. Coins do not cost real life money. For example, every 5 minutes you get 5 coins and each day you get coins. To read a chapter ( when I say chapter I mean like an episode of a show) you have to use 20 coins which I don’t think is very smart. Dear creators I sincerely love this app but I think you’ll get more love and better ratings if you just take away the coin feature. So not only us readers will be happy but you will too (ratings) I would’ve given this app a 5/5 if the coin feature wasn’t there. Overall, I enjoy using this app, but the coin feature. If you don’t mind waiting to read for more coins, I suggest this app for you! REMEMBER COINS DO NOT COST REAL LIFE MONEY!!! In conclusion, I think this app would be EVEN BETTER if the coin feature wasn’t there. I hope you consider removing the coin feature for us readers to enjoy reading and not having to wait and to have better ratings which will cause more people to join Webcomics! Comparing this to Webtoons I enjoy Webtoons more because of the coin feature. Thanks for reading and please respond!

Good but the coins system thing is not good at all. I get that the authors of the comics want to get paid but sometimes the reader are paying for “ amazing content of the comic.” Basically on some chapters we are paying for short, rush, something that does not go with the story line, or very poor content. This is not a good thing and The description of the app says “free comics when you want them” this is a huge lie. The lie being that the comics are not free and we have to spend coins to read them. The daily or free coins give such a small amount of coins and just to read 1 chapter that is like 3 panels is so expensive and uses up so may of the coins. And because your paying coins to read the comics, what happens when you use all of them? You can’t get the content when you want because you broke in coins. Not only that, when you pay REAL MONEY to get more coins half the time IT DOESN'T WORK. You can’t get refunds on the money you just spent for nothing and plus it gives you such a small amount of coins that you only have enough to read like 10 chapters and if you are like me then you like to read a lot of them. It’s really a waste of coins and a complete lie and the small events they hold to get coins is not worth it. You get like 5 coins when you read for five minutes. That not even enough to read another chapter. You will have to read like 20-30 minutes just to read one chapter. Most people or people that read fast have to wait and waste time to read the comics. Some of the comics also come from WEBTOON.

Can there be a slit change. Can the people buy gems with their coins. Because now the app is not as fun as it used to be and sometimes I don’t want to read because of the gem authors request like I get the author trying to get something out of but it’s really getting out of hand. It’s really disappointing when your favorite chapter switched from coins to gems . And I’ve been a supporter for the app for a long time and now I have all these coins that I can’t spend when gems are taking over. I miss the old day where you can pay gems or coins. And what really makes this sad is the lucky wheel isn’t gonna be there forever. I’m now switching to webtoon because of this and it’s sad cause I used to love this app. Guys if you don’t want to pay gems some of the comics are on webtoons so you might wanna search up there for some of your favorite comics you find on webcomics. Please consider having people pay with their coins to get gems to instead of wasting money all the time. Please I hope your answer this cause this really ruing the fun out of the app

Everything was great, until it wasn’t. I originally wanted to give this app five stars because not only was it free, it was also reasonable and reliable. I could count on my next chapter being there when it’s supposed to be updated. Hell, I could read what I wanted for free and all I had to do was wait for the next chapter, or let them build up so I could binge read. But that was before all of the updates for the app. Now update dates for the chapters in the app keep changing, I’m paying for unreliable authors and authors who call their 5 panels an up-spree. Did your standards change with every update? And the coin and gem system is so botched! Why don’t half of them work? (Despite all the bad feedback I read, I made an account so I could get freaking coins!) Why are they so few coins to be offered? What about readers like me who wait until the chapters build up? Those little coins won’t mean a thing then. Sure, I understand that the authors want to get paid for their content. And there are some that really desert it because you see the effort they put into it, but why am I paying for someone who barely uploaded any content?

Completely Free Best Reading App!!!. I love this app so much!! You can read an endless supply of manhwas completely free. Unlike a lot of other apps that make you pay after the first few chapters, this app is so great because you can read sometimes up to 25+ chapters or even 50+ completely free without ads depending on how new and popular they are. And after that point, you use coins to unlock new chapters. You’re given a pretty good amount of coins daily and if you run out you can watch short ads to gain more. I read for hours on this app!! The ONLY con I have is several Chinese manhwas are incomplete, and you don’t find out until you’ve already read everything because they are uploaded once a week or daily until there are no more chapters available. I don’t think it’s the app’s fault but it definitely can be annoying if you read a good one and realize it’s discontinued.

Coins expiring and new update. First I love this comic. I’ve had it for a few years now. So in those years I’ve accumulated a lot of free coins by watching videos. Over 14,000 coins to be more precise. I worked hard at saving them so that when I found a new comic or one of my favorites I’d an upspree, I could binge read with no problem. I just so happens that I came to the reviews to see if anyone else was having problems seeing which comics were updated for the day (since they’re not moved to the top when they’ve been updated anymore) and I saw reviews about the coins having an expiration date. So all the coins that I’ve worked hard to accumulate by watching videos over the years are going to go to waste because there’s no way I could use that many coins in 90 days. I love to read but I also have a job and a family that takes up my time. And now it’s going to take more time to even find which comics were updated for the day. I get things have to change to improve but this is still kind of drastic.

It’s good but.... All of the recent one star reviews for this app are a bit extreme, but I get where they are coming from. Most of the comics used to take coins to unlock a chapter and you can get coins daily for free. Recently I’ve seen many comics switch from coins to gems. I didn’t have a problem with this because I could just watch a 30 second ad and continue reading. I do have a problem with this now because I have seen on some comics, you don’t have any option to watch an ad instead of paying for gems. Let me say that authors definitely need more money for what they are doing and I’m glad that they recently started using a support option which is just giving coins to the author, instead of just a “thumbs up” on a chapter. But instead of getting rid of the option to watch an ad in place of gems, I think a better option is to anyone who can’t spend money on gems, is to just have multiple short ads that would equal the amount of money gems would pay the author. I’m just assuming that the 30 second ad didn’t pay the author the same amount as gems do, so sorry if I’m wrong because that’s the only reason besides people don’t want to watch ads that I can come up with for why you can’t watch ads instead of using gems. I don’t get what people’s problems are with SHORT ads but I still want to read these comics while supporting the author by watching ads. Besides that, I love everything else about the app, so the one star reviews are unnecessary and way to harsh. Please consider the ads equivalent to gems idea and sorry if it didn’t make much sense, it is hard to put into words.

The app has changed for the worst. I have been using this app since it came out but I am a underage girl I am in high school. This app makes you pay for everything now but before if you earned enough coins you could read as much as you wanted. But now you need to to buy gems for you to read. There are many other apps just like the system now . Where you have to pay for everything. And I didn’t download any of them. I can tell you the most of your readers are underage girls like me and because we are underage we can’t work so we don’t have any money and our parents wouldn’t pay. So now I have about 1M coins for nothing I can’t use it on anything. I hate apps like this where I have to pay for everything. When I found this app at the age of 12 I was so happy I would be reading all night long without sleeping. But now I can only read the free chapters. In conclusion the app that used to be my favorite is now the worst app. I know that the creators need to earn money but how will they be able to earn money if most of their reader are underage children. I know that some adults or people that have money are also using this app but if this update takes place then people like me will have to delete this app and go on a search again to find a new good app. And you will lose most of your readers.

Horrible. I miss old Webcomics.. I used to be able to read from night all the way to morning if I had enough coins. Now u have to pay 2+ gems FOR INDIVIDUAL EPISODES. The game system is already terrible and the spin the wheel gives u hope. U think you’d’ get a break but guess what? NO! I CARE ABOUT AUTHORS NEEDING MONEY. But it’s a different story when Webcomics has went from an all you can read! To a money farm! The coin system is just not enough! You could have 11,000 coins and redeem it to only get 0.53 gems! LIKE WHAT THE FREAK. Please fix this. I don’t wanna hav e to delete this app. You guys are still my favorite!🫶🏾 but please fix this! With the spin the wheel, it says either read free for one day or read free for 3 days! But guess what? It’s a scam? Every time you spin you will only land on coins! It’s impossible to land on the read free days! Like. I’m literally a minor! I’m an underage boy who just wants to read my BL (Boys love or love between boys) you guys are still my favorite app but please change the app back. I understand the authors need money but you guys have to understand that most people who have downloaded Webcomics are Minors and don’t have any money. Or have a similar system to Webtoons where you can have access to an episode after a certain number of days and if you don’t wanna wait you can pay to get coins to have early access. Either way, you do you. But I’m begging for you to fix this.

Every update is worse. I come back to this app thinking it’s gotten better with its coins and what not. It’s system used to be alright. It was never as good as WEBTOON (shout out to webtoon go check em out) even when this app was new it was still ripping people off. The fact that now you have to use tickets? What’s the point in borrowing tickets? Then having a suggestion to buy those same tickets at the “mall” for way more 😂 the devs really messed up big time. Shut this app down, fix your payment methods, or just stop ripping people off. Seriously. I understand paying the authors, but come on now. It’s dam near impossible to read 20 chapters at this point. How is it suppose to have free stories when earning the coins and what not and gems and tickets aren’t even available? Oh and, stop using bots to write “good” reviews💀 Once again, I have no problem in the authors being paid. It’s the devs who keep making this more and more complicated with every other update. Horrible devs btw, I could make a better app than this, it’s embarrassing lol

I don’t mind paying but this is ridiculous. I will start by saying I have no problems paying for comics I have six different comic apps and have literally put in hundreds of dollars to read them. I really don’t understand why people think everything should be free, but this one is way too expensive. I paid $20 for 200 gems + 600 coins and was reading for less than two hours and already ran out. On my other apps I usually pay about $60 at a time on coins and don’t run out for at least a month (usually a lot longer but it depends on how hard I binge) I thought about trying the subscription but that’s not any better you only get 60 Gems for the whole month? If 200 gems didn’t get me anywhere 60 would be useless. If I’m going to pay a monthly fee there shouldn’t be a limit on how much can I read as I will have to continue paying for the app because new episodes are released weekly. With the exception of the prices the app itself is good and I was really enjoying the stories.

Coin problem (You might really want to read this). This app would be great if we didn’t have use coins to read the comics. I don’t like the coins because you run out so easy and you get them slowly. You have to use a lot of coins just for one comics and can’t have enough coins for the next one. Some of them don’t do coins but most of them do and makes it hard to read your favorite comics. If I were Web Comics I would get rid of the coins. I truly do love this app but thanks to the coins I had unfavorite some comics because I didn’t have enough coins for it. The app would be better without the coins. You get up to 5 coins every 5 minuets and on the day you go on the app you get up to about 20 coins. Just to read a chapter of a comic you have to use 20 coins which is basically using all the coins you just got. You can also watch ads to get coins but then wait at least 5 minuets for another ad to watch. If you do want to do the 5 minuet get coins can it be to where they atomically get sent with the rest of the coins the reader has because it will start the timer over and the reader has wait to get coins. I also use WEBTOON and like more because they don’t do the whole coin feature. It would be nice if you lowered the coins you use to read the chapters to 5-10 coins instead of up to 20. I would do a 5/5 rating but the coin feature kind of ruins the whole app for me. Creator(s) of Web Comics please take this into consideration about the coin feature. I do still love the app so please keep that in mind that I am going to keep the app.

Get the app! ❤️❤️❤️. This app is the best app ever! I would use this app 24/7 if I were something else (why dose that matter) you should get the app it has so many different choices of comics, chit-chat, calendar with wallpapers it’s great! 🤩🤩🤩 But for some comics you have to pay for with the coins they give you. You get coins everyday when you check in (100 or 120 coins) also when your on the app for five minutes, you get 10 coins! Isn’t that great? You get “paid” to read. No ads! BUT only if your in need of coins you can watch ads for 30 coins. Most comics cost 30 coins or less. They also have something called the “PLUS Center” were you can pay $6.77 a month for free comics and a avatar frame. I recommend this app 110% so if you’re reading my review stop drop and roll. Just kidding 🤣😂 stop and download this app. You won’t regret. Bye~ I didn’t realize how much I wrote...wow I need to show my ELA teacher.

Webcomics. It’s a really great app for people who love reading comics of all genres. However, I do have to say besides all the great comics, artwork and authors, it’s how many coins you earn everyday for going onto the app. For example, it used to be 100 coins on some days and on other days you earn 150. Now it’s 80 coins on some days and 100 coins on other days. I’m not saying that this is a huge problem, I’m just saying that it’s quite troublesome considering the fact that some comics cost 30 coins. Furthermore, not only that but the amount of coins you get for being on the app has also lowered. If you were on the app for 5 minutes, you would earn 10 coins, but now if your on the app for 5 minutes you would earn 5 coins. I still think that 10 coins is worth waiting 5 minutes. So my suggestion is that maybe you can raise the 80 a bit higher just so we have a chance to read more comics and chapters that cost coins. Also maybe you can raise the 5 coins to 10 coins again. Other than that this app is amazing, couldn’t have come up with something like this, and you earned 5 stars from me.

Don’t give rewards you pay for threw offers…. So I love this app let’s start their because there is some really good stories on this app. But that’s where the problem come in for me… The fact that the stories are so good I’m willing to pay for what I like but why have offers for us to complete to get more gems to read more if your not going to give us the reward after we complete the task… I have paid for gems plenty of times but I saw a opportunity to pay $20 a month for animals and get 567 gems to read with for a while since that’s all I do with my time anyway. But after I complete everything and paid my money I have yet to get my reward and it’s been almost a week… I have went threw the support team and send screenshots of proof I did everything and they put on my account the issue was resolved and the 567 gems were rewarded but I still have not got them and they made me do all this twice now… I honestly don’t know how I feel now because I still want to use the app and read but I feel cheated so just a little heads up you guys don’t do the offers…

So expensive. Used to be such a great app with amazing comics and then in a couple updates I could barely read anything I could understand if they only used one of the updates but when they made it impossible to read more than 50% (personal estimate) of the comics without paying I found it very annoying and switched to several other apps to continuing reading the series. Most of the really good/popular comics used to just have a higher coin price or used gems which you could watch adds for but now they took away watching adds for most of them and for a couple of gem comics you can watch a limited amount of adds to unlock new comics . Also the amount of comics that are unlocked with gems (and you can’t use videos to unlock) has increased to a point where I can only read a few comics on there that used to be available to me. It’s a shame since it used to be so great and had so many available comics to read and explore but now I don’t think that anymore.

This app is my valentine. Most reviews I’ve been reading revolve around the coin feature and the fact that it seems like a paywall. You see, I guess it’s kind of annoying, but it’s appears to be necessary for some comics and (coins) are easily obtainable nevertheless. There are authors out there who need a stable income, meaning that they possibly don’t want to rely on donators or patrons in their salaries entirety. Hmm, the coins which are needed to unlock a chapter don’t seem too bad if you have a reasonable amount. If I recall, at some point, they gave out 10k coins after the update and with all the reading i’ve been doing, I’m still at 9k. 200 chapters of this one comic which got upspreed only cost me 1.7k (10c a chapter) and i’m almost at 10k again since it’s reasonably easy to build up how much coins i have. I love this app and how consistent the updates are, the wide variety of selections, and it’s upsprees with some comics. If you are too broke and dont wanna spend money, okay— sorry for the inconvenience, I guess.. just don’t read those comics. I’m also broke too and don’t even have a job jet, but I’m extremely grateful for being able to access comics like these which can be unlocked with the generous amount of currency the users of this app receive. I understand that some people wait a long time to read a specific story in order to enjoy it, but if you’re active in this app, it’s possible to obtain 100+ coins a day. (700+ a week) If i’m doing the math correctly that could result in 35 chapters which cost 20 coins a week. Most comics update 1-3 times a week which leaves you 11 comics which cost 20 coins a chapter and updates 3x a week. That seems bountiful enough in it’s entirety and the thing is, some comics cost 10 coins or less a chapter, and some are even free. I wish the complaining would stop, but I kind of understand the annoyance as well. I’m content with what this app allows me to do, though, and hope that one day I can upload a comic of my own. I’m only 14, so I have a long way to ago and many more happy years ahead of me reading the stories within WebComics~

I Like it But....... I don’t have much to say I really like this app its easy to get coins and thats what I love because a lot of apps you have to but coins they have a really good variety of books but now more of the comics(Mainly BL) are starting to use gems and you have to buy those what a lot if manga/anime apps are not realizing is most users are students so we can’t afford to buy any plans/premium I don’t really understand how the paying works on this app if they pay at all but I think they pay them for how many people unlock there chapters/how many people read and show support I don’t understand why authors are turning to gems maybe they get payed more for it but I’ve lost a lot of hope for this mainly because the books I end up interested in are all slowly turning to costing gems they used to have it where we could watch videos to go to the next chapter if we didn’t have enough gems/coins but now I don’t even get video options I hope they put add in something where we can change coins to gems

Incredibly disappointing coin and gem system with underwhelming subscription benefits.. Believe me when I say that I’m not one to leave reviews when it comes to apps or services, let alone negative ones. I’ve been using this app ever since 2018, I loved it. You could read multiple comics with little expense and more often than not, it was free. For many ‘youngsters’ like me, it was perfectly reasonable. To my dismay, I signed in after a year of being inactive and was absolutely shocked at just the audacity. A standard completed comic is ~150 chapters, each chapter containing ~30 panels worth of content. For those paying the monthly subscription, the gems and coins only last perhaps ~70 chapters if not less. I recall when I first joined this app coins were easy to come across and chapters only costed about 10-20 coins each. Now, if the comic restricts coin transactions then the only option is a “general red ticket.” Which is essentially a 200 coin TEMPORARY pass to read a SINGLE chapter. What was also incredibly infuriating was them promoting/advertising individuals to engage with third party companies subscription plans, discounts, surveys for gems. This often includes buying a three month subscription plan for 200 gems, or filling out a 30 question survey for 1 gem. I think that this is completely outrageous for an app designated for younger individuals. For those seeking comfort in reading comics, I advise you to search them elsewhere where it’s most likely available completely for free and with little restrictions. I hope the developers of this app can adjust this system to make it more reasonable and enjoyable for their consumers.

Great Comic app/Pros and Cons. So far this is a good app. There’s a lot to of different options to read and there is way for people to read without buying anything which is great. This app has many stories that will just blow your mind. There are always going to be pros and cons and here are all the pros. The good things is that there are free/preview chapters which are great because no one wants to read like other comic apps like you can read only two or three which is what I never liked because how are two to three pages are going to help me want to read something. Another good pro was that there was a way to read the comic without paying for it like the coins or videos which is great!👌because not everyone got money right now especially in this quarantine time. Another pro was the fact that they have favorite ❤️ or your file where you can have the stuff you like or want to read just by “favoriting” it. Which is great because I like to keep things organized. Now the cons, first con was when they had the free trial thing for beginners and it never saved the stuff that I read which is kind of annoying but it fine whatever. Second con was the fact that you have to pay gems 💎 to get certain comics which I don’t care but it’s the fact that we can even use coins or convert coins to gems. Like I feel like I can’t read a lot of things because of that. Other than that there isn’t anything else. Also thanks for actually reading people responses and sending one back because that actually shows that you care about your app and the people using it🤗👍.

I miss the way it used to be. I had been using this app for almost four years. I always found joy in downloading comics to read offline without the worry of it requiring me to pay. Then months after my first use of the app, it introduced coins and gems—to which I didn’t have a problem with it at first. Collecting coins was pretty easy since you could use gems or coins to unlock a new chapter, even watching a short ad. But then things began to go downhill. The frequent use of gems overruled coins, making readers be required to pay to read the stories they liked. I do understand authors wanting to be paid for the work they put into creating these stories, but it’s difficult for customers who want to find affordable reading applications. To add on, the prices are very over the top. I cannot fathom how a person could spend so much money just to read a single chapter. I do wish that the app can bring back the option of using coins alongside gems, or watching ads. But alas, my words wouldn’t be taken into account due to how people worship money. It’ll be brushed over just as all the rest of the low-starred reviews have been. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

system. I’ve had this app for multiple years already and there were so many great manhwas. I really loved this app back then but as of now, it’s getting worse and worse. The manhwas are still interesting. However, it is extremely difficult to even read anymore. In the past, you could use coins to unlock chapters, which was actually pretty nice. However, recently there was an addition of gems which made it more difficult to read some of the best manhwas without having to spend money. I understand that the arthurs need money and this will most likely be their only source. I had no complaints because I understood that they probably want to earn money. However, now it is completely impossible to even read without spending money. The app has added something called a “mall” where you will need to spend your coins for reading tickets. You won’t be able to read much at all because of how expensive the reading tickets cost. Literally, the only way to read any of the manhwas now is to spend money which I don’t have because i’m still a student. I believe a lot of other readers can relate to this. I truly used to adore this app. I spent hours and hours reading on it. But now I can’t even spend 15 minutes on it because I can’t read anything at all.

The Gem System. Hello, I hope you decide to read this whole review, I actually checked my spelling 😆! Anyway, I really love the app and there are so many talented artists making amazing comics! But in order to read those comics we need to pay for gems. I liked the option to either pay coins or gems, it was really helpful for when you couldn’t afford gems. I understand the creators need to be paid and having readers pay for gems gets them more money than the coin system. Although having readers watch ads also gets them money, so giving an option to watch an ad every chapter would be nice! Or better yet have authors promote their other comics, or even merchandise (if they have any) on those ads! As someone who watches Crunchyroll, they always self-promote other anime’s/anime figures on there, so why not do the same for your comics? It would be an easier way to get readers interested in more comics and possibly paying for subscriptions!

Gem disaster. I have never wrote a review before and wasn’t planning to but I was just shocked by how Webcomics has changed. I have used it for a year now and I didn’t think anything bad of the coins system before. Yes, it is annoying but the ads were necessary for the authors to be paid. But now they had a sudden update and people needed to give gems in order to unlock chapters. I don’t know if this helped authors gain more money but I do know that there were many comments about this system. There was a lot of negative feedback because there was now no way to read the comics without paying with real money. Many readers can not afford the gems. Also, the coins that are given for free are useless. The coin system should be at least replaced if not used. You are leading the readers on because they probably are trying to search for a way to use it but instead are left with disappointment. They saved up the coins day by day for the comics only to see it rendered useless. This is my honest opinion: I do believe the comics are very good and fun to read. But for the readers who are looking for a place to read with more freedom and not having to pay every single time a new chapter comes out; I would say this is not the best app for young readers or people who prefer not to spend money on apps.

Becoming More Like Manga Toons. So now there are expiration dates on the coins. It’s 90 days now, but I wonder if it will get worse. I dropped Manga Toon because their “tickets” would expire in less than about 2 weeks, free tickets were difficult to acquire, and you’d have to purchase tickets if you wanted to read very much. I wonder what’s going to happen with the next update...will the time to keep your coins be reduced? Will it cost more coins per chapter? Will the opportunity to watch an add to read a chapter for free no longer be offered? I’ve been using coins for every other chapter. Please don’t go the way of Manga Toon. I understand that the artists and writers should be compensated for there efforts but on the other hand, many of the readers are younger(students perhaps) and can’t afford even a small subscription charge. Some aren’t able to read every day, but don’t want their coins to expire. The system you had seemed to be working pretty well. Are the advertisers being stingy? I suppose this Covid thing may be partly to blame. Even with the recent changes, this is still much better than Manga Toon, hence the 4 stars. Please don’t make things worse.

Great App! Give it a try!. So far, I really love this app. I have been using it for the past couple months now. You can favorite comics, look up comics, look at genres and more. The organization of it makes the app easy to navigate through. I have been looking for other apps like this one, but this app has been the only webcomic that includes the features listed above and actually updates their stuff frequently. Also! The company seems to listen to other’s concerns too so that’s a plus. I’m not going to speak for everyone, but with my experience, the app has NOT been crashing me out the app. That is not to say that it isn’t happening for others though. I’m just speaking from my experience. There have been a couple times where I get new chapter notifications and it hasn’t been updated, but that’s not a deal breaker for me to go and delete the app. I enjoy the translations and the art. This app and their company service has so much potential if they continue to keep this up :) The other best part of this app is that it’s free too! I hope this app sticks around, I really do enjoy the entertaining reads! If I had to say 1 thing for the company to think about, I did notice one of my favorite comics I could not access today (holding me tightly, ghost sama). When clicked on, it gives me a blank page and sends me back to my favorites. I’m hoping it’s just a bug and not because the comic will stop updating all together. However, if it is the case the comic is gone, it would be nice to get a notification that the comic has been taken off for whatever reason. I’m not sure how that works behind the scenes, but as a reader, it would be nice to know so I’m not kept wondering what happened. Thanks! Keep it up ❤️

Used to be great... now not so great.. I was a plus subscriber for probably almost a year. I ended my subscription back on April because I wasn’t reading as much.. the old subscription I was able to read everything and anything. I come back this week i spent alll my coins that I collected before I ended my subscription (between 3k - 5k on coins, took me 1 DAY to spend it on ONE comic) So, I decided to re-subscribe again, for nothing. Like I understand support the creators and I love doing that but whats the point of paying a monthly subscription if I can’t have the same benefits as before. You still can’t read anything unless is with gems or coins. It says no ads but hey still watch some adds so you can unlock an episode for free... get 1,800 coins and 60 gems for one month? I feel like I’m paying for a budget. 1,800 is like 60 chapters... like ummm with so many shorts chapters that is nothing. I want the old subscription plus back.. it ain’t no premium If they going to limit your reading. I reached out to them see if there was something wrong with my acct. they didn’t even reply after a week. They still haven’t ... I’ll stick with reading what I can read. All creators are great novels and comics my serious 100 stars to all of them. The app not so much after this so call “upgrade” subscription.

So many fantastic titles. Great layout. I love this app. I love the comic on here is like 2x more then the other comic apps. I’m so happy they have this $50 for the year and I’m able to read all the comics without having to worry about extra payments and I love that. Even though the coins are free I am very impatient and very eager to read the next chapter then and there so being able to purchase for the whole year is a god sent and all the other comics should adapt to that. The layout and the first page advertisement for the comics makes it easy to pick out new engaging comics especially the ones your interested. In the top left corner of the app they have this switch between romance titles and action & fantasy. Which is genius and makes it easier for readers. The app is great the only thing I WISH they had was folders for read, unread, & completed comics. So I can attack the comics I have read (I’m currently reading 114 comics) so it can be difficult to find the comics I haven’t read because there mixes with the comics I have read. Even if the folder idea isn’t the greatest they should organize it as completed comics 1st (completed series are always probably the first ones I want to read becaus I don’t have to wait), most read on the top, read comics, unread comics, & comics that’s have completed the series and you finished reading last. I love organization it makes reading easier and more fun for me! It’s just an opinion hopefully that will be considered thank you!

Great app. I love this app. It’s easy to use and there are many great stories. The coins used to unlock chapters are easy to get and that’s great for those who use this app nonstop without going plus. I love how they allow you to test out chapters before using coins almost as a preread to see if you like the book and that you have a three day free trial. I do have minor complaints though. 1, after the three day free trial, if you are finished with a book and want to read it again you still have to pay to unlock it. I wish it wasn’t like that especially since some of the books can only be unlocked with gems. Speaking of gems, my second problem is the way to get them. The only way to get them is through purchasing them through the app. Not a problem if you’re old enough but what about those kids who have their parents permission for the app and aren’t allowed to make online purchases. A way to fix this problem is maybe doing an exchange of coins for gems. Like 100 or so coins for 1 or 2 gems. Other then those two things this app is amazing.

Some suggestions and ratings Nickname :IRemember. Over all I think the app is great but I’m not really a fan of the coin thing maybe you can actually change the special part more frequently. Also I think that for five min we can get rewarded more than 10 coins so like 20 or 30 might be my favorite number that you can change to. Also something that is quite stressful is that can you make the app a wireless because when I want to use the app it allows wouldn’t let me use it. So far I have used the app for about 4 days the Second that I downloaded it it was the best decision that I have ever made it free and also pretty fun. Ps. I really recommend this app just because you will never regret the decision it not like other apps where they need money to actually read comics webcomic is absolutely free it so amazing and it waiting for you too discover.

To have a paid system, it needs to make sense.. So I did start on this app when the comics were free and as they transitioned into the coin and gem system. The problem I have is that there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to what defines the practice of making things available to be coin bought or to be gem only. The coin prices are different pending on the comic and there is nothing defining the line there. I’ve seen that there has been argument of artist pay but then why would that make the pricing different? Does that mean some artists are being prioritized over others? And if you have a currency that can be “bought” by the user watching ads, that should then compensate for the profit that would be lost by people not purchasing the comic by chapter. In which case they should have a flat rate across the board? It makes me question the legitimacy of the artist contracts to have these rates per comic that don’t make sense. I’ve seen in the comics responses that the artists are the ones who dictate those rates but I have found the same comics on different apps that do not have these inconsistent prices. I am all for paying artists but there has to be some kind of sense to it. Rates vary in printed versions because there are variations in the quality of items used: paper, pages, etc. But that doesn’t make as much sense for an online only product. My other issue is a lot of the comics translated end up with westernized and out of place names which throw me completely off. There is no standardized way things are being translated and it feels like trying to localize a part of the story that really didn’t need it.

Love it!! But(;¬_¬).... Okay so this is my FiRsT time writing a review. I love the app it is indeed amazing and awesome I will list the Pros&Cons......... Pros: Its has amazing comic's and it always have your type; It also have ways to earn money and you don't have to buy coins with real $$$; It also have animation of the comic's so you can watch them( con of this:only the popular comic's not all of them)and can read the original comic. My opinion you can disagree with my review... Cons: you have to pay coins ( fake coins) to get a chapter and it isn't always the same price, it depends on the comic weather its popular or not, the app also post free comic's every day on the free chart but it's only temporary and it's always a different comic's.; You have to watch ads to get the page of a comic for free if you don't or just don't want to use you coins(☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞ That's a lot to read I know but if possible ( probably not) can you tell me the purpose of paying coins? And same if possible ( probably not) can you remove the coins, but if you have to do it can you do it for something else but if you can't it fine it's just that I want to read the comics and I'm am 11 yrs old so this sounds cheesy(¬‿¬)

Disappointed😔. I use to love this app so much❤️ it was (for me) the best app to read comics, it was easy to work with and to read the comics were so easy, and overall just loved it so much.😋 But now this app is really just unusable, like for real. You can’t read basically NOTHING on This app, everything cost gems now, like understand that it’s gems so that it can support the author so that they can make “money” or whatever😂 but how are they making money? Cause if you look at the reviews a good amount of people don’t like this app anymore and people especially younger people say they can’t use the app anymore because they can’t read basically nothing and can’t pay for the subscriptions to get premium , so they delete the app. Like it would be so much easier if coins were the Main support because I can’t get gems at all, that offer wall or whatever it’s called to get free gems legit doesn’t work😂 I tried multiple times and does not work. Like the only way I can read story’s is if I get three days for free or one day for free to read story’s, which is sad because I remember being able to read so much story’s in one day and now I read like basically once a week or once every 2 to three weeks because I can’t get the 3 or 1 day for free. I won’t ever delete the app because I have some story’s that I really like and I like to reread them (when I get 1 or 3 days for free) but PLEASE change the way the app works because if not I’ll just delete the app then🙁 and then get webtoons instead😔.

Scam. It was great up until they made it so the only way to unlock episodes is to use gems. The app has a system of currency called coins which you collect daily (around 80 a day) which can be used to read about four chapters. Gems on the other hand can only be obtained through spending money, a lot of money. It’s $.99 for ten and you can get maybe 8 chapters out of it or you can pay the price of a Disney+ (6.99 a month) subscription and get premium which unlocks chapters. What’s worse is that they do this on comics that already have an active fanbase. Take Lily for example, it had over 500 chapters that can be unlocked with coins and a dedicated number of people reading it, then one day you go on the app and find that new and old chapters can’t be read unless you spend money. I’ve been following this comic for a while and now I can’t read it because as a teenager, I don’t have that kind of money. Webcomics is tricking their fans for money, getting them addicted to a free comic then making it unavailable unless you pay.

Maybe it’s time to find something new :(. I’ve been using WebComics for about 2-3 years. When I first got the app, it was absolutely amazing. Back then I would have rated it 5 stars. I understand that the authors who make the comics started to charge gems for their comics and that was totally fine. Comics would usually cost a couple coins or a couple of gems. They were pretty easy to get with the daily spin. The best part was that the daily spin seemed to have equal odds of landing on 10 coins or a 3 day free read. However, now you unlock chapters with red or green tickets and that cost quite a bit coins or gems. The daily spin seems off now also. It feels like they odds aren’t equal anymore. Honestly the premium membership doesn’t seem like it’s worth it either. I guess I just miss the old days where I could read for hours on end and enjoy the comics. And the comics now, they all feel the same, it’s hard to find a good and unique comic that doesn’t follow the same story line with semi different ml and fl. It was good while it lasted but I guess it’s time to move on (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞

😍👍. I wrote a review on this like a year ago or so when the manga were still ALL free. I mean I had a feeling they were gonna add the locking ch later on which they did and I think it’s annoying, BUT still! It’s so worth it at the same time. I love how they have a little section for a few manga that’s free for like 2 days or they give discounts when using coins. Better yet everyday you log in you get daily coins 100+. Every 5 min on app, you can get 10 coins and every 15 min I think you can watch an ad for 30 coins. If you don’t have coins, you can always watch an ad to unlock instead as well which is nice too. One last thing I want to add, the authors tend to do an up-spree and that’s always great which is also a reason why I don’t mind spending coins or watching ads to read. This app is just amazing and I’m always opening it daily. xD

It WAS great. I suggest having a section of books that are free and a section for books that you have to pay for. I truly loved this app until they started the coin thing. I usually like to let the chapters build up so i could read a bunch at once but with this coin thing i can’t read my favorite stories. Although it’s possible to get free coins i can’t seem to get enough to read all of the stories that i love to read and it really upsets me because i love reading these stories it’s like an escape for me and the ones that i started off reading i can no longer read because there isn’t enough coins because when i click to read it make me pay to read an episode that i hade already read thus making me run out of coins quicker. All of the books in my library are pay to read. That is why this app is no longer great to me now it is just good. I wish the could go back to where ALL the comics were free to read and the coins were just for gift exchanges.

The new update. I’ve had this app for years and I was fine with paying with coins and waiting until I got more to continue but now with the new update it’s turning into Tappytoon where there’s going to be barely any that you will be able to read for free and it’s honestly disheartening that you took this rout. I’d hate to only have Webtoon’s selection and stop supporting the people I had grown to like on this platform because I don’t have the money to pay for gems or at least give an ad (or multiple) option for gem ones, or just do what Webtoon does and have a couple that you have to wait until a certain time to unlock. My main problem is it doesn’t even say that it’s going to cost gems you have to get like 20+ chapters in to find out, there’s even one I’m 70 chapters in and it suddenly turned to gem I feel like this is unfair to readers and writers because the readers have to stop supporting the artist because they don’t have the money to support the artist and the artist loses money because they won’t even get coins or ad watches, people will just not read on and support people who have it not for gems.

It go worse tbh. I used to LOVE this app so much I’d get so excited to get of school and read some of the amazing comics but now I don’t even like the app all that much anymore it just got worse. I mean the authors are totally out of hand with the gems where they’ll only make it gems and u cant read any other way where someone like me isn’t paying money for gems just to read a story that’s no where like Webtoons unless it’s the comics that are there from the og days where I actually had a nice time reading these comics like “The expensive ex wife of a wealthy family” which now I can no longer read because the author decided to go from coins or gems to just gems which like I said I’m not paying for. I really used to love these comics and now when I read a new one I get hooked for me to be let down because the author wants to go and make it gems. This app is about to get deleted ngl cause I can’t just keep getting hooked into a comic only for my heart to be broken because they made it at a stupid price 😔😐

Was Good Now It’s Just Barely Okay. Just like most of the recent reviewers, I used to use this app very often. When it was just a coin system, it was relatively hassle free to unlock new chapters. I understand the need to pay their artists more but the new system of gems and tickets is severely broken. I would almost rather that they make a certain number of chapters available for free and then flat out ask you to pay instead of creating the illusion that you can easily earn gems/coins/tickets to unlock them. Also, at this point the ratio of gems/tickets to coins is so off that coins are basically useless. You need something like 200 coins for one red ticket which gets you one chapter, but you can get maybe 100 coins from the promotions that don’t require personal information and like 10 coins per ad that only unlocks after a certain amount of time. Basically if you read more than 3 comics, you’ll be short every time.

Used to be better. I’ve been using the app for almost 2 years now. I’m even subscribed as a plus member. The comics uploaded are always good, and I enjoy them. But since each chapter is so expensive, I went from reading around 20 comics a day to 3 a week. I’m not willing to spend $100 for a comic that stopped uploading. Which is sadly what happened to a lot of the ones I used to read. Another thing that bothers me, is the lack of free comics. They used to make a comic for free for promotion purposes. I liked the free comics since it allowed me to see if I enjoyed reading before purchasing more chapters. I also used this method for finding new comics to read, but since it was taken away, I’ve stopped finding new ones. Lastly, the user interface has gotten extremely messy. Before, it was easy to find new comics and it was a simpler home page. Upsprees at the top, recommend comics, and new releases. Now, the home page never ends and has so many comics on it. The new homepage is unpleasant to scroll and I have buyers dilemma when looking at it. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because this app used to be my favorite. I’d rather support other apps now since the money you pay toward the development of the app has made it worst. This app lacks pro features, other than reading in advance. There are often untranslated panels as well, so it’s not worth the money spent to unlock a chapter.

Hi the app is great but somehow my webcomics money has been decreasing every time I leave the app and it’s like someone is stealing it it probably a thousand or hundreds and also I haven’t had any free comics in months now and wou,d really wan to it makes me needing to go online but can’t find it beccasse it’s locked chapters so I need the free comics thanks

Webcomics. This app is really good the only think I don’t like is when you don’t have enough coins you have to watch the adds and it take about 30 secs which is quite long and annoying I hope you make the adds like around 10 secs

This app is amazing !!!!!. I highly recommend this app for anyone honestly the comics are absolutely phenomenal. But beware that you must unlock some chapters by inviting friends other than that it’s beyond amazing words can’t even describe. I personally love this app.❤️❤️❤️

Why am I paying a monthly membership?!. I just don’t understand the point of paying a monthly membership if I still have to pay gems to read some comics??? I think it’s totally unfair especially since they changed it out of nowhere this used to be my go to app but ig not anymore! You can find pretty much all their comics they have on the internet for free AND more chapters out than they do. It’s not worth getting this app, I didn’t mind paying membership before we had to buy gems on top of the membership you had a good thing going and now you just got greedy.

Suggestions and complaints!!!. Complaining that you guys don’t have solutions for our complaints on the gem issue. Many people don’t have time to do the activities on Webcomics to earn gems because we readers seek entertainment from reading comics. We can’t spare about 15 minutes or more just to earn gems; it could have been our break time after work hours and we’d be wasting that time to earn gems instead of relaxing! While I’m receiving free coins for every check-in, it’s the same as tasteless desserts because it can’t be used for chapters that requires gems to unlock. In response to this, the only way is to buy gems or do surveys—very time consuming ah! Every time I look at my empty gem wallet and the chapters that I want to read, I get crazy and think—Why can’t I just exchange the coins in my wallet for some gems?! Literally, I’m here to suggest that you developers should try consider making some kind of system on Webcomics that can exchange a certain amount of coins for a number of gems. Our entertainment life would be much easier if this thing works. We aren’t complaining that we have less gems, we are complaining that our only way to unlock chapters are gems and gems require us to either buy it or waste time on 5min activities for a single gem! Lost all favourited comics. Love this app. But after the most recent update, I’ve lost all my favourited comics, and upon finding them again, saw that I’ve also lost the listed chapter I was up to in each (they all start from the beginning again).

THIS APP IS THE BEST. My friend told me about this app and I decided I would check it out. I’m always looking for new mangas to red but I can never find the write platform, but then when I got this app I was so surprised at all the great mangas. Well technically there more like comics but there in the manga style , all the comics are made by people that use this app, you can comment and support the creators as well AND ITS 100% FREE. This is a great way to read mangas and there also lots of variety. Plus there’s like a million BLs to choose from its AMAZING. All in all just get this app you won’t be disappointed. 😀😀❤️❤️

Enjoyed my time but no longer. This was a pretty good app for me, in the beginning. However it is now that many comics use Gems to release chapters and they are virtually impossible to gain by ad watching, rather they need to be purchased. A few are still coin purchase but the numbers are dwindling. Through ad watching you can make a number of coins pretty easy buy using them, not so much. I have seen one offer to get gems, but it has never worked since becoming a premium member 4 months ago, hence I cancelled my subscription today. Thanks for the memories.

Subscription question. I love the app and the stories, just wondering why change the subscription to buying gem? I paid my subscription for a month but now I have to buy gems to read more chapters. Payment on top of payment, also I have read some comics and finish it. But because of the good story I read it again, now I have to unlock the chapters with gems. I’m sad that I need to keep paying to read comics here now even though I have paid my subscription.

Love WebComics ❤️. When I go to the library to check out books I always go to the manga/anime section but I usually don’t find much. But here I find everything I want and I feel blessed that such an app exists

Amazing! By there is a little complaint….. So this app is really good in fact one of the best manga apps I own! But it’s really quite annoying how I have to wait a day to read a new chapter, and I don’t have the money to buy gems so yeah I just wanted to know why you can’t just limit a certain few mangas for premium only and not have everyone have to wait a day to read a new chapter of there manga.

Wish I could login. I love this app and the comics but now I can’t login and when I was login the app couldn’t find my saved comics I have tried reinstalling the app but nothing is working so I am just going to have to remove the app a reinstall it in a month or so I hope it works then if not I will just remove the app all together

Greedy. I am new to the app however I have used many subscription based manga apps before. This app literally takes a lot of money, I found out that they make each chapters so short compared to the original length of the chapter. For example the original chapter would have 17 pages worth of storyline however, webcomics cuts the pages into 5 pages instead and making us pay and use the gems to unlock the little pages we get. I feel really disappointed. I do not mind paying a worthwhile subscription.

Please listen!. This app is amazing I love it better than WEBTOON to be honest but on the website it gets annoying because you HAVE to download the app to see more comics... I hate it really! So please is there any other way to read the comics on the website instead of downloading it all the time?

Great app but using gems is an issue. I really love this app, I could go hours of reading these comics, but now I can not read any of the comics anymore because I have to pay and I think there are no use in collecting coins either. Now I can no longer read any of the comics nor use the app. I would really like most of the app to stay how it was. Hope I can read comics on this app again one day. Overall whoever created the app is brilliant and give them all my appreciation. Thank you, from me😄.

This app is great. I really did love this app bc it had many good manga and such but now that there was a new update, i kinda dislike it. if u ever want to read back a chapter that cost money you have re-pay again even though you’ve already did. I wish they can change it back :(

uwu. I like that you can support the owners by watching ads, and coins are not too hard to obtain. although you use them really quickly if you want to skip ads for short chapters rather than spending 10-30 coins per chapter. i also recommend pharaoh’s concubine if you’re into historical drama and amazing art, and star crossed lovers for a simple sweet storyline.

Just a good playform. This is honestly just a great place to read manga, and comics, it has Nono-toxic people and is just a great platform, I would recommend it to anyone who asked

most comics must be bought with gems. I had the app and was a fan of it for around 8 months. It was so enjoyable and such a stress reliever from my school work. However, recently a few comics that now has better recognition then a few months ago, started making people pay gems to read. It used to be free or paid with coins(which you can earn off watching ads) three of my favorite comics which I’ve been following for months now suddenly makes me pay to read. I’m not saying it’s wrong or whatsoever but to just suddenly cancel out so many comics at a time is just too upsetting. I know there are lots of more readers like myself who enjoys reading the amazing comics on here and shares it with their friends but are unable to pay. So further into the future, if this situation gets worst and more people are force to pay more money, it’s likely that the app will start to lose its users. I’m saying this as an opinion, not to discriminate anyone in any way. If this keeps carrying on to the point where there are no longer a decent amount of free comics, I would probably give on the app and leave as well. I enjoyed this app so much while it was still fun and was just a platform for readings to enjoy, share and discuss with each other.

They should stop making people pay money to read books. They should make you watch and ad per every five chapters you read and make people pay for premium so that they don’t get adds and can download

Very good App. This is a very good app for manga that are very hard to find but can u please put more opportunity where we can get free coins like doing Challenge or u have to do something for the coins. Because it will make it more easier for readers. But the app overall is very good and the app is so easy to use. Thank u for the hard work 💖💖

It’s okay just a few complaints about devices. It’s good to find some comics here and it’s fair with the coins and all, just one complaint. When you download it on 2 different devices but log into the same account, the comics you save are on device a don’t transfer to device b. If I read 20 chapters of a comic, the other device will say I haven’t read any of it. It’s hard to constantly try to remember where your up to all the time.

Excellent customer service and great selection of comics. Firstly, let me start by saying that I don’t mind paying for pass cards, gems, or premium subscriptions. I think it’s very fair since the artists/authors also need to make a living so of course not everything can be free. In that respect, I love how we can “rent”two free comics every 7 days as a premium member. It definitely helps you get your money’s worth and there’s a huge selection of free comics within that range as well. Moreover, I had an issue when I couldn’t access the 7-day free comics benefit but customer service resolved the issue very quickly. So if you’re looking for good deals on nice comics then I’d definitely recommend giving this app a go.

Needs more variety. Could not load the app before. I’ve had this problem before as well. Glad I was able to go on it again. I tried updating it before but it wouldn’t and I kept trying, afterwards it finally really updated and I got in. Overall it’s a good app but doesn’t have much variety in the stories. A lot of them are of the same plot or at least similar. Ofc I’m a fan of revenge plot though. But it does get boring when you see the weak girl falling for some CEO over and over again. I wish there were more variety to choose from.

Tokens and Gems. When I was using this app, 5 years ago, we could access or unlock the comics for free or use little amount of tokens gained from watching adds. However now we need to gain gems to unlock chapters which takes forever to get. I had to redeem thousands of tokens to get less than one gem. The manga on this app is amazing though so I really want to get back to reading on this app. Is there any easier faster way to unlock chapters other than getting the premium?

Good but some stuff is less then usual. Honestly this is a good app but when u have 3 days free they don’t give u 1 or 2 full days so don’t get ur hopes up! Also they keep changing it all the time like stop it please we like the way it is just stop changing it gets in the way of stuff.

AHHHHHH. This app is the reason I’m obsessed with comics, however, there is one thing that really annoys me. I’ve been spinning the daily wheel every day for the past month in hopes of getting a daily free ticket, because a lot of the comics need gems to unlock them. But everything time I spin and watch ads, it always lands on the one next to the free ticket. I really love this app, but please make the probability of getting free tickets higher.

Im already paying $9.00 for premium but still paying diamonds?. Im already a subscriber before and then recently i did resubscribe again, why is it every chapter towards to end i need to pay diamonds? So whats the point of subscription if i need to pay more. Explaining what an amazing APP it is. Personally this is on of my favourite app for reading online comics. Updates are amazing, comics are wonderful (especially the storylines and the outstanding art) and having the opportunity to read them is easy as there is a bundle of new comics everyday, waiting for people to read them. The comics are well plotted and each have a unique storyline and include different characters with amazing personalities, which make it so easy to be attracted to. Love this app so much!!! Why did u add diamond which u had to purchased with actual money?. I remember when I used to download webcomic 3 years ago I think and u didn’t have to pay with this dumb diamond thing it was just coins but now this year I downloaded it again and now we have to pay with purchases diamonds? And now most of the comics u read or h could say every comic u read u have to basically pay with actually money(diamonds) so webcomic isn’t as affordable or fun to go on anymore sorry

GREAT APP👍 (edit). This is simply put one of the greatest web comic apps out there however a few of the genres have disappeared such as romance and BL which has been bothering me since those are genres that I do read once in while and I am confused as to why I cannot find them at all in the genre location. Life saver app. Recently I ran out of mangas and webtoons to read which have been translated to English but this app has an endless amount of translated comics and the art is really pretty. Some of the stories are also amazing. So glad I found this app!

Glitch. When I unlock a chapter the screen freezes and it happens every single time when I try to unlock a comic chapter. When ever I go to daily coins and watch an ad or try to the screen freezes again. I hope webcomics can fix it and hear my prayers. Ps there are a lot of diamonds to unlock chapter hope we can use coin for it. Hear my regards and please reply if u had the same problems

Excellent app with great resources and comics. This app is honestly one of the most used apps I use. It has amazing comics. Reading comics authors made are enjoyable and it’s the best app to use when you have nothing to do. Thank you to whom ever made this app it’s honestly really great.

LOVE IT BUT..... I love this app but there is just one thing I hate! You have to pay to continue reading the comics, it only allows you to read free for 3 days, unlike Webtoon which allows you to watch it for free, but other than that it really is a great app to go to if you love mangas.

Too many chinese manhuas. I am very disappointed, they advertised that the app have many different authors from different parts of the world, but I can only see too many chinese manhuas!!! I can’t find japanese and korean manhwas! I am very dissatisfied. And what’s worst is the chinese comics are full of main male leads that leads to raping female leads! Too cliche stories and not worth the money at all. I demand more varieties of comics not just chinese comics alone!!! Or give me a refund :/

Constantly crashes. I like the app, it’s easy to use and has some really good comics. But it has huge problem; it constantly crashes. And I want to say it’s my phone's fault but no other app crashes so I really I can only blame the app. It’s really frustrating to have to continuously swipe and load the app because mid-chapter it crashes. I mean I don’t know if this happens to anybody else but it does happen to me. Other than that I think it’s pretty good app, so I would say to give it a try.

What’s with the new paying methods. I don’t know what has happened but the new paying method is literally RIDICULOUS. I know there’s nothin wrong with wanting more premiums however I myself was willing to watch tons of ads for chapters But no the tickets and their prize are out of this world. 950 coins for only 3 chapters?? That’s literally cruelty. I might stop reading really soon just because of the time I have to spend to earn 30 coins. But as always your comics are amazing and please do keep up the good work and try changing your new paying rules and ways cause it’ll cause you damage in the long run

Bad service. I had an issue previously where I was charged but did not receive the subscription content access. At the time I reached through the app for support and they fobed me off to apple to request the refund. I let it go at the time because it was just to much hassle to have to go through. I manually cancelled the payments through my bank and App Store. So that was fun. I really love manga and all the content the creators are bring out so I just signed back up tonight to find out that the subscription they have running is worth less than 9 chapters of reading. Literally all the content I want to read requires diamonds (subscription or not) you receive what they call a wallet of diamonds but it is no more than 9 chapters on 4 diamonds a piece. I want to support creators and more content but I’d rather not use this service again it’s useless and rather insulting. Don’t subscribe to this app. It’s not worth the hassle.

It’s great but...... The app is great with many many webtoon and manhua which I love love loveeeer and can’t get enough of!!!!! But the amount of coins given are very small now so I can’t read anything anymore... It saddens me so much..... I hope in the next update there will be more opportunities to get a lot more coins...... My friends are also trying to save coins but not reading but it isn’t working.... I really hope we can be given more coins!!!! But overall it’s a good app

All free stories + minor issue. From my experience so far all the stories are free and very engaging. And the support of reading them goes straight to the author. As well as regular updates depending on the authors schedule. However with every good app there is always comes criticism, but it is nothing major In some of the stories the translation from their written language to English is very poor and in some cases unreadable. This only counts for a minority of the stories however. Still would recommend to anyone that wants short little stories that stop your heart 😊

Possible app updates?. Is there a way to change the reading orientation? If not, I hope landscape reading is possible since words sometimes are a little small. Also I hope we can search by tags too eg. Love triangle, wealthy protagonist etc. Cheers

Great app. This is such a great app. I can read all the chapters without using any money to unlock them. Other apps require you to pay money to unlock the rest of the manga. I was glad to find this app. Totally recommend them.

Good Stories but messy. There are good stories, i really like reading comics ‘cuz they bring life even though for non-animated stories, I love it but its just that its a little bit messy to say. I dont how to explain it but i got really confused for which the text bubbles were even part of a box or for two boxes, its just a mess. Or maybe its just me.

Gems. I used to really like this app, only because my favourite webcomic on there was exclusive to the app, and I couldn’t read it anywhere else. And I had saved up over 30,000 coins over the span of a year or so, but suddenly I can’t read my comic anymore because I don’t have gems. My coins are useless! The only way to get gems is to spend real money on it. It’s ridiculous. Why couldn’t I exchange coins for gems?

Suggestion!. Hi dev, can we add in a “token” coin system where we purchase tokens and redeem the token for gems? I think that might be better and probably affordable for people who can support the authors/ Artist etc

Amazing app but i can’t spin the wheel or get 150% of the daily check in. Web Comics is my favourite reading app because it’s really easy to get coins. I got a lot of free readings so i could read the ones that required diamonds but now unfortunately the wheel doesn’t give me any ads to watch so i could spin. I updated multiple times but it doesn’t work. I wonder if its something that other users are facing too.

Costs waaaay too much. Price to pay to read a few chapters is ridiculous. Only 60 gems, how long will that last, a few hours?what a scam. You get maybe 10 free chapters of comics you’re not interested in/ Spend the money on physical copies instead of some virtual thing you can read temporarily. Kinda confused with something, so i have an Account on my other device and it has no email or anything, so I can’t sign in on my phone since there’s no email along with no option to sign in with username. I don’t really know what to do since I’ve payed so much money on the app but can’t use it if it’s on my other device. Any help?

Cost. The app kind of sucks now, before it was more fun we earned coins and used them to read, now we have to spend gems or can’t at all continue the stories we used to read. The only way is to win the lucky wheel, before you could get lucky easily and win every once in a while to read expensive stories, now it happens less. We can only earn tickets and you can’t read most things with them.

Completely changed. I began using this app around 2016 and fell in love with the comics on there, but i stopped using for a few years and decided to return again this year only to notice that everything is all about money. It’s not the same as before when I would purchase the membership and read unlimited amount of chapters compared to now where I need tickets/spend gems just to read chapters. I hope something can be done about this change because I don’t like it at all.

Do not download it is not worth it. This app is bad. I have been on it for so long and for some reason son august of 2021 I have not been able to receive any rewards. I can’t afford gems so how is it fair. What will I be able to read if I don’t have the 1-3 day free reward. This is basically making this app useless.

Scam app. This app is a scam, do not buy their membership as there are no benefits and the free comics coupons are useless as you cannot unlock your favourite comic. Every new chapter, you need those expensive gems to unlock or watch those stupid videos. The gem earning mechanism is so bad that you won’t be able to earn three in a whole day. I never rated any app so low but this app is worthless. So again don’t download it or spend money on.

Kicks me. Every time I am reading on this app, it will maybe let me read for a minute straight, and then it will kick me out the app, but I have to reset it and then go right back into it to start leading again.

not working…. I love this app so much but after I updated it, it won’t open at all.. it’s a shame because I used to use this app all the time but now I can’t even open it. All I see is a black screen with the logo.

Disappointed. I truly love all the great manga’s and I would spend hours on the app but now I can barely read 10 chapters. You have to pay to read and it’s definitely not cheap especially if you read as much as I do. I rather pay more on a premium that allows unlimited reading like you used to have.

Pay To Read Now. Almost all of my favorite comics now require gems to read them. As much as I like these comics, i’m not going to pay to read them. I loved this app so much and I was happy with being able to read using coins and ads but now thats barely even possible. Edit: Since the authors choose to make them cost gems I’ll change my rating since the app itself is really good.

Spin wheels. I kept watching ads to spin and get the reward that I want but until now I’m not receiving “free read” instead I get the coins that I barely use. . They’re using the spin to watch more ads and not giving the readers a good rewards,,it’s unfair

Removed Plus Subscription for something worse. Wow, the most recent update not only made my entire coin collection worthless, but the plus subscription that let's you read unlimited amount of chapters, is now going to be removed if your membership lapses. The new membership costs close to the same, and all you get it 60 gems (30 chapters) and 1800 coins which are basically useless now. Compared to being able to read as much as you wanted before. Pretty greedy. I'm done with this app.

Love it!. So impressed with this manga reader! I can pay a subscription or earn coins if I want to read for free and it’s by far the most user friendly app I have used yet! 5 stars all the way it’s awesome!

Expensive. I signed up for the premium membership and have found it gives very few benefits. The ads you can watch for tokens give very little reward for time spent. Would love to see some changes made especially with the bulk unlock. 40% when you unlock the whole book is great but there is no in between. Maybe consider adding a 20% off of 20 chapters feature and giving your VIP’s a few more perks would go a long way. These few things would bring my rating of the app up greatly

Poor translations, overly censored. The interface is nice, and there seems to be a decent selection. However, I tried a half dozen manga comics and found each one to have quite poor English translations, be overly censored anything remotely sexual or violent. This included cleavage, blood, let alone any actual nudity or weapons. Considering much of their content is either romance or action, this leaves very many panels with big splashes of white. If you don’t mind the above limitations, then this is a decent app. But for me, I prefer something I can read in English and enjoy the full extent of the art.

Great app but…... I love the app, but where I started reading online, and bought some gem, when I got the app and sync my account it didn’t want to transfer the chapters I have already unlock or the gem I have. Other then that I love it

Trash. Absolute garbage, If I’m paying for subscription, I expect to access to all manga , manhua without having to pay again. Subscription and I was only give few coins to read , once the coins where exhausted, I was required to buy more to continue reading , what’s the point of subscription if you still need to pay to read. Dissapointed. used to really enjoy this app and then they made all comics pay per chapter (currency of the app not real) for each chapter its either coins or gems, the coins isnt a big issue but every single comic i read is gems, i havent been able to read anything for weeks now despite having premium, having premium isnt worth it you still need to pay for every chapter.

So bad!. It is much worse than you think it is! After reading a number of episodes from a specific comic you have to use “coins” to unlock them! Which means you either have to buy them, or watch videos to unlock the comic! So bad!

Choices. There are a lot of great choices of books to read but there are not ones that I like, like Demon Slayer or Irina Vampire Cosmonaut (which is okay) but could you possibly add more to the app please

Uh... I'm broke. So... I love the app, great stories and BLs you know, all good and stuff but I hate having pay and do a bunch of stuff for gems... Like doing those surveys for gems, I did two and didn't receive anything whatsoever. I also got taken to a bunch of unrelated websites trying to do the surveys. And I get it, I may not be reasonable I'm just saying how it's kind of annoying, plus I hate having to work for such little gems to read one chapter which uses up all my gems. Horrible, do NOT recommend. I used to be able to read all comics with the monthly subscription but now it’s literally useless to even pay for it. You can’t read all comics and you have to pay gems for certain ones. It’s completely ludicrous, if I’m paying for a subscription I don’t want to have to pay extra money to buy gems just to read. It’s greedy and it’s such a shame because the app itself is so good. I definitely don’t recommend getting this app when there are other more sustainable options.

I don’t know why but.... So here I was subscribed monthly to read unlimited comics and they changed it! Without so much of a warning. I mean maybe they did but I didn’t notice anywhere it saying sooo no more unlimited, now you have to pay for each chapter like the rest of the apps. This was my favorite app among them all. So this morning I was reading this comic and now it’s locked. Sooo disappointed. I don’t know why they would change it. I would rather pay more a month to help them out the. Have to pay all this extra money and it turning out to be a crappy comic. Sometimes I only read half the comic and not liking it. Or maybe just a few more chapters then what they give free because honestly it’s not much. All I’m saying is I’ll probably delete this app as it’s pointless now😩 they hardly have sales or deals and now they just want all your money plus some. Not worth it!

Says free but isn’t free, cheats it’s customers!. I used to love this app and I was so far ahead in some of these stories! Now that it has updated I can’t read any good stories at all due to the gems now being demanded of the readers! I’m hello, nobody can afford to pay for anything anymore let alone small luxuries like this, this was supposed to be a FREE comic app not ‘free* now here’s the catch’ app!!! I was very far in some of the stories and now it’s saying I have to rebuy the chapters I’ve already read even though I’ve payed for them in coins before they made these changes! Hi scamming app! How are you? I understand you want the artist to be paid but how about YOU pay them on there popularity instead of making us pay for it! This app was advertising as a free app so keep it free! Will make sure other people know what you are doing when they think about downloading this app!

Greed ruined the app. New: I decided to go on the app after not using it for a while— and I regret updating it. Chapters are locked and can only be read if you buy gems or watch ads. Coins are practically useless now especially since they expire. I understand that the creators and translators need to earn a living, however, it’s getting to be too much. I’m just glad I never paid for Premium. I know things aren’t going to get better, sadly, so I don’t see a solution other than deleting the app. Old: Lots to choose from! In fact, there are so many that I can’t keep up with them haha. I’ve been using this app for a while now. I’ve used Webtoons first but then I got Webcomics as well. There are a ton of romance comics and they are usually the most popular ones. A lot of them are repetitive and cliche though. And like some people mentioned there are toxic relationships. You can also search things up by genre or add things to your favorites. And they have this nice feature called Weekly Review which informs you about new and completed comics. Some of the web comics require coins to read the chapters, but you can earn them by logging in the app daily, watching ads, or by getting the premium version Plus. Overall, it a good web comics app, but it could definitely improve.

UPDATE: Broken PLUS membership. UPDATE: Today with no explanation my PLUS membership was fixed. I am guessing the support team saw my messages and restored it. While I’m not happy with having 2 days gone with no explanation, I am happy to have my PLUS back. Hopefully it will stay. ——— I LOVED this app for the PLUS membership. Yesterday out of the blue my PLUS was removed from my account even though I am still on autopay subscription. I tried reaching out to support team and they were no help. They are telling me to get Premium now... but I was told previously that PLUS members could remain on plus as long as they do not cancel. I feel like I was lied to and my money is wasted for this month, paid for PLUS with no PLUS access. Very disappointing.

Not a fan of new premium membership.. The app is decent. I aways paid for the premium membership so being able to read anything and everything without ads was my favorite part of the membership. When they added early access it was even better. Now I re-activated my premium membership and I think it defeats the purpose of paying for it if I still have to pay to unlock/read chapters. And even at a discounted rate I used all my gems unlocked 3 out of the 100s of things I read. If premium only offers early access I’d rather not pay $5.99 a month to still have to pay for gems. If would’ve known prior to re-activating premium membership I wouldn’t even have wasted my money. There’s a lot of free sites/apps where you can ready the same stories.

Sigh. Is 2.5 an option?. Is it really even worth the download anymore? The app was amazing at first. Most comics require that you pay coins that you can earn by coming on everyday along with watching ads and spending 5-10 minutes on the app. Now, it seems like all the webcomics can only be read when you pay gems Gems COST MONEY. Actual, physical, money. I know I personally don’t have the money to be spending right now on gems for a comic. I love some of the amazing creators on this app, but WebComics, if you’re going to make us pay gems and money to read our favorite author’s work, at least have ads or something we can watch to be able to get gems without paying a penny. Don’t you guys make a profit from ads? Sigh. Anyway, I just wanted to express my honest feelings on this review area since no one on the staff team seems to care when we mention our inability to pay gems until he comments of our favorite webcomics.

Gems?!? ;(. I love this app so so so much! when all my favorite comics started changing to gems only i cried. i can’t afford to pay a bunch of money to read these. i really wish it was coins to read because i love these comics with all my heart. it’s a shame i won’t be able to continue to read them. if i can’t read my favorite comics anymore i don’t see the point to continue to have this app. i’m so upset and will continue to cry over this change! i spent so much time reading and getting involved in the story of these comics all for it to get ruined... AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE there’s an option where you can read the comic for free after watching an ad. however after watching the ad a small page pops up that says “tap to refresh for your reward” and keeps popping up and never loads the comic. it’s just mean and feels like teasing. PLEASE make a way we can read the comics for free without any setbacks. i love this app but i can no longer use it with this new feature....

Awwwsome. The romantic comics are so heartfelt and it makes you get involved in the story and characters so much that you want them to be happy and you can feel your heart just POP out of your chest. And you can tell that the artist works hard to make it look so cute. I’m in love with these comics. My fave right naw is a Boy Love called ‘become the big bosses man’ It’s about a gang and the old boss gave his spot to his boyfriend who at the time isn’t his bf. It’s safe to read, and I’m in love with this story and the characters. Pizza give this app a shot I promise it won’t disappoint, and if u wanna read ofline like me this app slaws you to download the comics. Byeee From keirstyn T

Upset. I’ve been using this app for about a year now and I love all the comics. However, I’m currently upset with the change in currency. I get it some authors need to make money and changed it to gems but the fact that I’ve been following many comics with 100+ chapters waiting every day or week for a new chapter to come out and now in the middle of the comic they change it from coins to gems is very frustrating. They wrote many chapters already without charging us for gems which means that they had some type of income, why are they starting to ask for money now. I get that they do it with new comics but why comics that are way into the story?? I also hope that you guys maybe provide a way for us to get/earn gems without paying anything just like how we get daily coins.

Fabulous App!. Total five stars! The coin system was a little off, but take this as the real review, THEY ACTUALLY TAKE AND READ TOUR REVEIWS ON THE APP!!! I filled out u form just for free coins because I was running quite low, in that review for the detail thing I said “more coins” a week later everything doubled! The max amount of coins you could get from inviting friends went from 10,000 to 20,000. Not just that, the online time span for 5 min went from 5 coins to 10! And even better 👌👌👌👌😍 The other online timespan turned from 30 to 60 coins! Of course the ad coins didn’t change but I’m fine with that! I am just really pleased that they actually took our opinions and interests into consideration. Please download this app, it is very well designed and fabulous.

Translations. Comics?. Overall, the app is easy to use and I don’t really mind the coin system. It is what it is. What’s preventing me from really loving this app the way I love WebToon is the quality, translations and consistency. First to start with the quality. The art styles are not all that great, but that is a personal preference. Second, the translations. They’re not so bad that you can’t understand but there are rare occasions when a panel is completely in Chinese (?). Lastly, the uploading consistency. I started reading a few comics and then suddenly, authors stop uploading new chapters. Like there’s a comic I favorited on there that hasn’t been updated for literally months, almost a year. There is zero communication between followers and the author so it’s a mystery as to what really caused the break. For example, in a lot of WEBTOON comics, authors will stare they’re taking a short break and the app itself will show that a comic is paused. Is there really no accountability for authors to post at regularly scheduled times? I wish this would be better but these are some really huge issues that’s preventing me from being an avid user of the app.

Bad romantic storylines. When I first saw this app I thought it was really great and I don’t mind the coins. I think the pure action comics are great but I have a problem with the romantic ones. A lot of the romantic comics have the same formula of the female protagonist being taken advantages of/raped but then keeping the narrative as the idea that it’s her fault, and that the lady is happy in the end because she falls in love with her rapist. I find that quite disgusting and unsettling but if ppl prefer that then I guess so? But can we get a good romantic story that doesn’t have a protagonist being raped. The problem with a lot of these stories is that mostly young women get an idea that 1) being raped isn’t terrible because the main character ends up with a hot guy and always moves on in her life 2) raping isn’t worthy of punishment because many of the rapists in the stories aren’t punished 3) because you drank it’s your fault that you’ve been raped. This is 100% untrue. Yes someone is putting themselves in a more vulnerable state but that doesn’t mean that just because you put yourself in a vulnerable state means you SHOULD be raped. Anyways my main point is that I want a romantic story with a healthy relationship, a stronger female lead, and less subservient too

Disgruntled: bad handling of update and coin system.. I loved this app until the most recent update. The problem for me is that with the update came a coin system to read chapters, including the last chapter you already read. The update did not mention the coin system, there was no explanation (that I can find) in the app or online regarding the coin system. The prices per chapter I’ve seen so far varies from 0-30 coins. And it is set to Auto Unlock so you when goin to the next chapter you automatically use coins. This can be turned off but you have to in check the option. With no explanation and no mention of a “wait to unlock” feature I feel I will be deleting this app very shortly. I am trying to wait for an explanation or further update however I am not hopeful. I do love the webcomics themselves there are so many I want to continue however, the way this was handled leaves much to be desired.

Premium if not fair. I love the comics The only thing is If I’m paying each month for it why should I be limited on the comics I’m paying exactly to get the comics free but y’all thinking on your own benefits will making more premium customers needs to buy germs and stuff even if they have coins this is really ridiculous I love reading especially on webcomics but y’all need to make it fair premium doesn’t need to buy anything else if we’re premium and paying for reading y’all can’t lock them and saying we need to buy more stuff to read while we’re already paying for that is just for y’all benefit not ours.

Fantastic art, not many original stories. The art is always beautiful and I can tell the authors put a consistent amount of work into their stories. If the three comic apps I’ve tried this is my second favorite. Most stories I read have similar plots and many of them start out the same way. Many main characters have similar faces and hairstyles. Such as cute innocent girl face and skinny sexy vampire. Chapters need to have less coin usage. For non-premium users who can not pay but still love to read. I understand people need to make money but I often find thirty chapters in a row that are not free. Overall I enjoy this app but I would like a little more originality and less time commitment in order to get more coins.

Gems. Ive been using this app for over a year now and i loved it, but when they added gems everything went downhill. At first only a few people required them to pay for mangas. Now almost every story needs them. When they were first introduced I was able to get gems from the wheel pretty frequently but then something changed and i haven’t been able to get gems from the wheel since roughly September of 2021. I really want to read my stories but I’m underaged with no job to pay. I really hope this can be fixed because I’ve gotten to the point of reading a lot less often and every time i try the wheel i don’t even expect anything to happen. Please fix this the app was so great but it’s starting to become terrible.

Not able to read updated chapters. In my opinion, this is an amazing app and I am almost on it 24/7. I really love everything about it but just recently I have been experiencing a bug with my most favorite comic. It started when I went back in the chapter to read it again then when I tried to get to chapter 31 it would not let me. I have tried deleting the app and resetting my data but it wouldn’t let me. I thought then that it was just a temporary bug and everyone was experiencing it but then I saw today that a new chapter was released. I tried deleting everything again but when I went to another comic the same thing happened. The comic would not allow me to go on to chapter 31.

Very noice U-U. After a few chapters you have to pay coins but luckily you can get coins if you login each day which is great. There are a lot of choices to choose from but If your interested in yuri there are only a few mangas for that genre. There are mostly yaoi tho which is definitely nice. I honestly recommend this app it’s really good and I also notice they update the app to make sure it’s up too our liking. Oh! also there are gems which you use when there are multiple chapters. You don’t really get the gems for free tho. You have to pay. But it’s ok tho because there are multiple manga that don’t use gems which is great. It’s really easy to use too. So yeah definitely recommend this app :D)

Some comics only can be unlocked with that gems now. So, this app used to be my go to app for comics. I collected tons of coins, so I could read my favorite comics. Now the comics I was reading don't cost coins anymore, they just cost gems. Sure some of them you can watch a video to get them for free, but this was a really bad update, and lots of people will be upset with this. I suggest you go back to the way it was before. Maybe the app designer can add a link button for Patreon, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Ect. This could help the authors get out to the public more. This app will loose lots of users due to this update, some people are not willing to pay, or don't have to money, for gems. If they want to support the authors though, they should support them through Patreon or social media.

Used to love this app. I used to love this app and saved so many coins for chapters and be able to unlock all at once! But now they make them expire! 50k coins down to 7k! And all new chapters you have to have diamonds and no other way to read the comics. Now I can’t even unlock all the comics that I have waiting to unlock all new chapter, I get that you want us to get more coins from your events but some of us cant get on for awhile and to come back to coins GONE is dissapointing! Cause now we can’t even unlock all the comics we were reading since we don’t have enough coins due to you guys making them expire. Please do remember that not everyone has time to read and would like to keep their stuff. EDIT: THEY ALSO DONT USE THE REAL NAMES OF THE COMICS EITHER!!! So you can never find the actual comic

It’s okay but still disappointing. I like this app but the thing that we have to give gems and coins away to read a 5 minute chapter is really really annoying. I have to spend so much time getting gems and coins and all that work goes away in less than 30 minutes. 2 hours of work can go away in less than 30 minutes. I would like to get premium but premium also doesn’t offer as much as I would expect. I understand that you want to give credit to the authors but this is just straight out unfair. Due to this, you won’t have readers for too long so I suggest do something about it. Pretty disappointed by this

Amazing but two bugs. This app is amazing you have lots of options to pick from like romance or adventure. But I will keep this short, their is one bug when swiping to move the comics and novels it glitches out of the app and or moves you further from the spot you were in. And the second bug is the wheel, I noticed it is kind of rigged like a claw machine, it glitches when you almost get a really good one but then glitches you to get the one or two tickets. In my opinion these aren’t really that bad but still wish these will be fixed. But overall this app is amazing and you should really get it if you what!

Great app, but.... Honestly I really love reading especially comics and novels and mostly yaoi. One issue I have this this app is that you can download it free but you have to pay for almost every book separately. It’s a big issue for me and probably many others because not everyone has the money for that. A good idea would be to make some books cost premium or make it more easy to get free gems. Getting free coins is easy but for gems it does take a ton of effort and I have never been able to get free gems easily. If you don’t have an issue with paying *Tons* of money on this app then I highly suggest it but if your like me and don't have the money for this it’s probably not for you.

Best WEBTOON app ever!!!. Guys this app have many comics and let me tell you they are not playing they have so many comics to choose from. If you like romance and other story this is the app for you!!! But I am loving the revenge story because it have many drama and exciting part but there is not many revenge story!!! I wish they have more of revenge story because other app I use they don’t have revenge story like this app do so I hope they have more of revenge story!!! But with all that this app is still my favorite app!!! 100% recommend to anyone who looking for a good comics app!!! Hope in the future there will be many revenge story!!!🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️

Y'all mad for no reason.. I am also a starving artist. Meaning I can't pay to feed myself let alone other artists. This app still gives more opportunities to poor folk than most other comic apps. The chapters aren't expensive considering how short most are. The ones I'm reading are 10 to 30 coins and you can get 120 free coins just by opening the app. 50 by reading. 30 by watching an ad. This is much more than other apps give as far as free coins options go. Not to mention the amount of chapters you can read for free before having to unlock. Tens of chapters! Other apps give maybe 5 tops. Be grateful!!! This app is still as free as they come.

Love it but also hate it!. I’ve been using this app for more than 2 years i guess. Before the update, i wasn’t mind spending money for subscription because I could unlock all chapters & comics. But since the new update came out, us, readers need to pay for gems. It’s becoming unworthy to spend a lot of money for just a comic. Please and please bring back the old subscription feature. If you think the price we paid for subscription wasn’t enough, you could higher the cost a bit, but not with diamonds. Loyal readers will slowly delete this app, i will also soon delete this app after my first purchase of diamonds gone. Do think about the readers, not just the creators. Creators without readers also cannot survive. Just stop ripping off readers like this because we, readers, also want a win-win situation. Thank you.

Lots of variety!. I’ve used this app for about a year now, and I must say it is my favorite app to kill time when I’m bored. The only problem I have with this is that there are lots of repeated/blank/untranslated text bubbles and the translation quality is not as good as when I first used started using this app. I hope that they proof read and fix the translation errors over time and that there will be a author label that you could click on to see all of their works in one go. I also hope they start to show exactly all the panels without censoring them out anymore just like the original version because I don’t like the extreme censorship they have on the panels and comment section. Other than that I think this is a great app there’s so many genres to choose from and a lot of great romance comics to read.

Love this the most!. Out of all comic apps this one is honestly, to me, the best! I don’t usually write reviews but I love reading and these comics are truly ADDICTING. The coin system I don’t mind at all because they give you coins daily for checking in and you can save up every 5 minutes when they give 5 coins each time. I save up because I check in, check in during different periods of time, and I watch ads! It is actually more beneficial than the other comic apps and each time I read my comics I get to read it for free because there is always the Ad option to watch it for free, like I said I don’t mind that so I love it! I recommend to those who are interested in these types of comics!

Updated and Restarting at Ch. 1. I understand updates and the coin system and that doesn’t bother me. I check everyday to read and get my daily coins. I would have rated five stars if not for this. After an update all of my cache history is gone. I have to restart my entire list, all my comics are liked, but I have to restart all comics I’ve already started on at chapter one again. I have no idea if I still have to pay coins because once I noticed this I got angry and quit reading. I had over 9,000 coins and now I’m a little over 3,000 coins. I spent the rest on those comics, I won’t delete the app for now, but please fix this. It’s annoying, this hasn’t happened with all your other updates before and thank you.

Overly Censored Comics. I honestly wanted to love this app/site, I heard so many positive things about the stories available. Don’t get me wrong, the comics available are AMAZING, the authors/artists definitely deserve their flowers, but some comics are so heavily censored that you lose important plot points. I wouldn’t mind paying the annual subscription price if it meant I’d get the uncensored comics, but almost $70 for something you’d read on the “all ages” section of Tappytoon is just not worth it. I think adding age verification for “mature” comics (be it themes or content) would go a really long way in improving the user experience. I’m thinking about requesting a refund for the subscription I paid for because I’m not going to be using it or this app again until the excessive censorship/lack of age verification is taken care of.

Need Development. I’m a new user to WebComics and I have enjoyed the comics that’s offered on here so far. I do wish that there was more options to unlock comics besides only gems and tickets. I understand that the artists have worked hard to create these comics for the audience to enjoy, but it would be more accessible if we can utilize coins still or convert coins to gems. I appreciate that the team has added on the unlock feature with advertisement. Regarding the monthly Premium Membership, it is great, but please add more gems and coins to the package as I feel that it doesn’t feel enough for me to enjoy reading comics for a whole month. Please listen to your reviewers and those who have been dedicated to using WebComics. There are more improvements needed, but I look forward to them. Thank you.

Bookmarking. This is a great app with a lot of really good comics but what really irritates me is that whenever I exit a comic, it doesn’t save my progress. The library system is a little buggy, with comics I’ve never read popping up at random, but other than that it’s very entertaining. Some of the stories have major plot holes and the translations are of poor quality. The episodes themselves have weird cutoffs and some stories don’t seem to have a proper ending. The art is decent, and it’s an app that I use every once and awhile, but if you fixed the bookmarking issue I would defiantly use it more. It makes it difficult to read when you keep loosing your place all the time. If you read this, thank you for your time and please fix the bookmarking issue.

Gems. So I loved to read webcomics because it didn’t really matter for me because before you would unlock chapters using coins which was fine but now when I try to unlock chapters you need gems and even for the stories that are already completed... And the fact that u can’t even get gems without paying some people can’t afford to buy gems so it’s really hard to read your favorite webcomics... I understand that authors need to make money but it still isn’t fair that gems costs so much like 1 dollar for only 5 gems? The stories I wanted to read was 2 gems for 1 chapter.... If this doesn’t improve or you bring coins back your going to start loosing audience if I doesn’t change than I'm deleting webcomics... please make it easier for people to read comics rather than spend a lot of money and for the People who can’t afford gems...

FREAKIN COINS. I love this amazing app!! I love the comics and they are awsomeeee!! I would totally recommend this to everyone that love reading. The only issue is that I can’t read what I want with out paying 10 coins per chapter and let me tell you these chapters are short and it is not easy getting coins. Yea they give you maybe 20 coins each day but that only means that you get to read two chapters. Yet again those chapters are not very long. You get 5 coins every 5 minutes and that sound like an advantage but it’s not. Let’s say that they gave you 20 coins a day you use them 20 coins to read 2 chapters then you have to wait 10 more min if you want to get 10 coins (you hav to wait 5 min to get 5 coins) that is frustrating and it angers me. I hate the fact that I had to get rid of this awesomely developed app that I love soo much.

No new updates. I love the comics this app has and they have frequent updates but after a month of using the app I started having problems. I would get notifications that a comic has been updated with a new chapter but when I would go onto the app it would show no new updates. Even when I would click on next chapter it would say no new updates. It has been like this for two weeks. I have emailed webcomics with the email they left on their site to complain about this issue and to see if it can be resolved and no reply along with issue not being resolved. It’s sad because I really like using this app but am now going to delete it because what’s the point of having it when it won’t work properly and show you new material when obviously there is new material.

Please read if you see this. So, this app is… an app :3 I’ll give more detail. So, the stories in this app are AMAZING. They are some of the best manga stories I’ve read and I really like them… then I saw the word PAY. That word is something us online book readers see a lot and its practically PTSD at this point (jokingly ofc I don’t actually mean that). No one wants to be in the middle of a great story and see that to continue they must pay. I think this app has potential in the books it has, but overall I don’t know if I’ll really use it because I’m not gonna be paying for it. If you are ok with spending money on these apps, then this is a good app for you. If you’re like me and really don’t want to, then try to find a different one. The gem system.... I understand the author’s side to things, and appreciate all the ways the app has for earning free coins. My issue lies in the coin to gem ratio. It takes a few weeks of daily watching ads and saving up coins to be able to convert to enough gems to buy one new chapter of the stories that require gems to read. In comparison to other apps where you can similarly read comics and earn free points/coins by watching ads or completing offers, it would only take approximately a few hours of completing ads/offers to unlock a new chapter. In the old system with just coins, it was much easier to read. And while I understand the author’s need to make a living, this new system deters people like me from reading.

Translation Nightmare. This app has issues. First I don’t like the infinite scrolling setup and would prefer separate chapters. Second, there aren’t author information pages, so no quick way to check if they have other works, Patreon or social media. Third, and most important, the English translations are horrendous. The translations read almost as if someone used google translate. Even their most popular and featured comics suffer from this. It’s to the point that it takes away from the enjoyment of reading. The stories in general are shallow and poorly written...and this is made worse with bad translation. I can’t tell where the app finds all the artists, or if artists can upload their work directly, but there is a consistent low quality to the stories. On Webtoon, there is a lot more variety in quality and styles at little cost. Meanwhile, Tappytoon has great translations and generally higher quality art and stories from extremely popular Korean webcomic artists (so long as you are willing to pay). I’m willing to pay for quality but the stories and translations on this app don’t have it. Also, don’t tell me to leave feedback with translation corrections. That is a lazy response that doesn’t fix the problem. To fix the problem—hire good translators and good quality checkers.

Wonderful! But as always, with flaws. If you want to read webcomics here, I’d say it’s a nice place to read! However, be warned, that a couple comics require gems to unlock. In the store for gems, it states that coins can be swapped for gems. Unfortunately ,it doesn’t work. So I have a small suggestion for the developers. I don’t like writing reviews but I just want to suggest that maybe users can use coins to purchase gems. Perhaps a couple hundred (if not thousand) coins can trade for gems? Some of the comic readers are unable to afford plus since we are tight on money and can’t afford it. I trust that you guys are working on it and I just wanted to put in some input for you guys. On the other hand, Thank you for supplying us with such great content!

It’s great but.... I love this app a lot!!! It has amazing art and wonderful comics and I love reading them. It’s great! But the only problem I’m having is some of the comics I love reading haven’t been working. I can see that it’s updated but it won’t let me get past chapter 30. If I press on the next arrow, it just brings me back to the top of the chapter. It just recently started doing that, so I’m not sure if it has something to do with the new update, but I would like to know what’s happening. It has been happening to many other people as well, and some were suggesting it was because of IOS, but I’m not completely sure. Again it’s an amazing app!!! I would just like to know what’s happening with these comics.

Rip-off. Let me start out by saying that this app was one of my favorites before the new update. The coins system made sense and was fair. I even decided to pay for the membership because I loved the stories so much...and I still do. However, now instead or requiring coins to unlock chapters, A LOT (most tbh) of the stories only give you the option to use gems. Considering that the subscription ($15/month) only gives you 60 gems/month, you are not even able to read through 1 whole comic a month...it’s such a shame that they changed the app to be like this. I’m now considering unsubscribing because I hate the fact that they’re basically giving a paying member a “budget” and limiting how much I can read....please go change the app to how it was previously!!! Otherwise....TOTAL RIP-OFF!!! I DON’T RECOMMEND IT! Download WEBTOON instead, a million times better than this one whether you purchase coins or not.

This app is a ripoff!. Okay so I’ve been using this for years now, and literally all I have to say is that it became such a ripoff. This all used to be so good when I could spend all my coins even though the ads were annoying. I stayed even tho the ads were so much to get a lot of coins. Even the comics were good themselves but as time went by I stopped reading for some time now. I came back on this app to read since it’s been a while but now that I can’t do anything with my coins it’s useless to have them. I don’t want to buy diamonds just for this, if I have so much coins and y’all are telling me it’s a waste now ? It’s such a ripoff for those who are younger and want to start reading in a way they love to. I understand that the writers of these comics are trying to earn money but please consider the audience who’s trying get entertainment in reading their comics.

Glitch. I usually love this app and love reading on it. It’s definitely one of my better webtoon reading apps, but there is a problem with one of my stories. I read the chapters but after a while, the chapters started to glitch, with the same exact chapter appearing twice but only the VERY TOP of it. I would usually ignore this but since reading many chapters takes coins each time, I ended up paying DOUBLE what I needed to pay, for glitched chapters. I don’t know if this is a problem on the app’s end or the author’s but I don’t appreciate having my hard earned coins used up for no reason. Once I run out of coins, I feel as though I can’t use the app at all. After all, what am I going to do, just sit there for an hour to save up coins? Waste of time. Please either fix this or get rid of coins. I will not use the app otherwise.

I Don't Know And Don't Care!. Ok first of all I want to say is that this app is AWESOME like not kidding it is AWESOME first it has high quality which I look forward to, second the drawings look AMAZING and third they have so many genres and awesome stories for readers like Romance for girls and then Fighting for boys which of course I love Romance and is a girl but I also like Martial Arts where they go from weak to strong you know and they have so many plots and yeah It's just amazing and I look forward to more new comics and 5 Romance Comics I recommend is (1.Empress' Game: Make-Up Master 2.Vampire Adonis 3.Pharaoh's Concubine 4.President's Sweet Trap 5.Holding onto him) and that is all 5 of them so you better make sure to read them!(Part 2) Actually there has been this thing going on that needs to be fixed its like when I read it says "Losing Contact" when I have wifi and three bars man!

Why???. I love this app. I love it and most of the comics it has. But- I don’t like the update, it has been here for awhile, but I haven’t been on here lately so I didn’t pay attention. Every time I try to read a comic, I have to use gems to unlock it (Which is requested my the creator). I thought this was stupid as you can only get gems from the subscription or doing ‘deals’ that don’t even work, or you could unlock the chapter by watching an advertisement. The thing is- you can only watch 5 advertisements a day, and at a certain point, you are forced to pay gems (or maybe it’s just a glitch). And, what’s even the point for coins anymore? Every creator is requesting gems, well, for the comic creators (I’m not interested in novels). Anyways, in my opinion, I think the gems should be removed from the app, it’s just annoying. :/

Always Reliable with good content. I love everything about this app. The content is really good, and at least once a week all the webcomics continue. The app gives you notifications when new comics come out, and everything! There is even a place to find new WebComics you want to read. This app also as you keep all your favorite comics so that you can find your comics quickly without the hassle of having to go through all the comics in the app. This app also offers many Different genres. All the comics are also in color. I gave this five stars because it’s so helpful, and I also enjoyed every single comment that I’ve read so far.

Well, this WAS my favorite app...... however.... Back before, this was my favorite app to start binge reading on all the comics I love. But until recently there was this coin thing. I mean it was fine beforehand, but now the chapters cost more. Additionally, IT’S NOT FREE ANYMORE. In order to read the comics, you must pay 20-40 coins each chapter??? Or you must pay real life money???? What happened to being free?? Honestly if that’s the case, wouldn’t people just jump to WEBTOON? It’s basically the same thing as this app, however they’re free, and the chapters are MUCH longer!! I see many people are complaining about the new updates, so I would really appreciate it if you listen to your viewers. I would definitely change my review if this were to change too! Overall, I really do love this app. But the coins, and the money, I don’t think I can tolerate. I know the authors need to be paid for their content, but can’t you just make it so it’s not mandatory in order to read the comics?

Pay to read. I've had this app for at least a year or two now and have loved it alot. I go through spells of reading though cause ill catch up with everything on an author and wait till there's a lot of new chapters so I can binge read. But its been a few months now and I come back to a pay to read system. I understand it supports creators but I'm like 30 chapters behind on some stories and at 30 coins each there's just no way I can read it all without paying. I can't afford that pay to read kind of luxury which is why I liked this app. I understand why but for stories that have a multitude of chapters there should at least be some sort of pay for all option. Others its a bit of a rip off. One that I can't indulge in. 900 coins so I can catch up on a story I already read 60 chapters of for free is a bit excessive.

🙄. I like the app. I really do but this paying for every chapter, gotta go. I like the other version better. Y’all keep saying it’s for some chapter but that’s a lie. I’m literally paying for every chapter I read. I understand that the author wants to get paid but don’t this company already pay them? And I’ve been trying to get a gift exchange for the longest and now I can never get a gift because they be 200,000 coins and above that, and now y’all taking my coins for every chapter that I read? Incredibly nice. 🙄 I love the content and I love reading the stories, just hate that just to read a chapter like before, I have to pay 20 coins or I can’t read the chapter , which is now taking away from my coins to exchange for a gift. Either get rid of the gifts or make them cheaper. Not every one has money to be buying coins or gems.

It is defined the best. I quickly search in the app engine a few years back, I wanted anime. I consumed anime as if it was a drug I was dealing with. I had downloaded Webtoon and Tapas. I had it for what seemed eternity. Though the starting of webtoon was great and fun- I began to lose interest for I was never able to consume more romance to my liking. Tapas is a great app but You have to pay some episodes... Occasionally I would google MangaRock, but sometimes it can be overbearing. I wanted an app simple, colorful, and easy to use. Few days ago is when I came upon this particular one. Hopefully I wont have to delete it in the future~ It asks you a question in the beginning: adventure or romance? You can pick either. I picked romance. The app then directed you to only romance comics! But at the left top corner you could switch to adventure. I love that i could switch and pick. It was easy to set up my profile and not too personal. The comment section gets me all the tie and i enjoy that! Its organized where you can see the updated, the hottest, and the chronological order. Plus side: it has great comics i know i wont get tired of. Thank you!
