Can’t complain about free books.. I don’t mind having to watch an ad every few chapters and having to click past an ad every now and then. I will tolerate watching the ads for free reading since I know this is how the authors get paid for their work. Lately though, the ads that come up during the chapters have been longer ads that you have to sit through too like the ones that are to unlock new chapters and that is super annoying.

Would have given 5 stars but…. I paid to have ad free reading. $8.99 weekly. However, with this most recent update, it isn’t recognizing my subscription and is making me watch an ad after each chapter. What is the point of me paying then? I really hope they fix this issue soon. It’s currently 4/10 and my subscription renews on 4/14 so I should still have 4 days before I pay again. I’m in the middle of a really good book and not being able to read it through without having to watch an ad is infuriating.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME- Too many ads. This app is not great. Too many ads. I got hooked on a story and want to read to the end to see how the story plays out but this will be the last I read on this app and will delete it immediately when I’m finished with this book. The ads were annoying at first but I put up with them. Now it’s telling me I cannot even watch ads to unlock the chapters! I have to wait 30 minutes between each chapter to unlock and I still have to watch an ad! They are not little 10-15 seconds ads either. These ads are minutes long. It’s ridiculous. Do not waste your time. This app is terrible.

Too many adds. When I first got this app, it was great. I read it chapter 23 before I got an ad now I read one page and I get a quick ad and then I read two pages and I get a two minute ad and then I read two pages or one page and I get more ads. It’s like I’m reading more ads than I am of the book I’ve been reading, this book now for about two hours and I think I’m on chapter 3 or maybe four most of it has been nothing but flipping ads so I think I’m just gonna delete it after I’ve done posting this and I know no one ever see this post because you never show bad post do you? Thanksfor

It truly is free. This is the only app that I have found that is actually free. Yes, you have to watch ads after 2-3 chapters. But it’s worth the money you save. I have had 100s of reading apps that make you pay by the chapter. And some books on those apps have 1000s of chapters. But on NovelFlow, I have yet had to pay for anything. The books are good too. There are some that need editing, but I can usually get around the issues of grammar and translation. If you like reading foreign authors but don’t want to spend money by the chapter, this app is for you! So far everything they say about the app is true, and I have not felt scammed like other novel apps. My only complaint is there are a lot of unfinished books. And I don’t like waiting for chapters to be uploaded. I like to read a story from the beginning till end. But hopefully that will change soon and the authors will finish their stories.

Novel Flow. I like the story I’m currently reading. But an ad every 2 pages (I swipe past) then another ad 2 pages after that, then an audio ad 2 pages later and to top it off a page later another ad. Seriously?!?!? Can’t you at least let us read the 2 chapters or even 1 chapter before showing another stupid ad? It starts getting so good but before you finish the paragraph or even a sentence there’s another annoying ad!!! I realize it’s free and I wouldn’t mind the ads so much if there weren’t so many in such a short time!!! I luv to read, but I hates all the ads! There’s just toooo many for my liking.

Way better than others!. I just found this app and looked at the reviews and saw people weren’t being charged per few chapters they read either with money or coins. NovelFlow will let you watch an ad to continue on every so often or you can pay a flat monthly fee and get no ads. I went ahead and paid the fee. I don’t mind paying by month of its something I’ll use, but I’m not going to pay every couple chapters.

ADS!!. Started off as a great app when I first downloaded it. Still better than a lot of the other reading apps available but the ads are getting ridiculous at the point. I’m spending more time watching ads than it takes to read the chapter, and it has become really inconsistent in terms of chapters available after watching the ads. Two days ago it was 3 chapters per ad, yesterday it was 2 chapters and today it’s only 1! And that was all for the same book. Why am I still having to watch these long ads for less chapters?

Thank goodness it was free. Because I would have been highly upset to have wasted my money. I got a book that was interesting. One of the big issues is it’s a POV story and numerous people have the same story which is repeated over several chapters. It took me over 2 days to get thru 102 chapters, finding there were 180 total chapters. It had not been proofed effectively because of multiple errors. Once you are hooked, the story is issued in 2 ch segments only if you watch ads, my problem is I only got 1 ch each time and then it was not always the entire chapter. I never saw any major writers with available books. I can’t recommend it. Major waste of my time.

Disappointed. I would typically leave a 5 star for the last 5 months but 4 days ago all of a sudden every chapter that I unlock has 5 or 6 pages and they ALL stop mid word or mid sentence!!! I’m reading to books for the past 5 months and am in chapter 930 on one and 486 on the other.. I’m missing a lot by not being able to access full chapters!! Also it will not allow me to comment or report error!! I’m very disappointed and do not wish to lose all the time I’ve put into these books!! Please fix problem

The app might be hacked or is doing this on purpose. Yes the app is free to read as much as you want. I kept the app because I was hugely invested in the story that was partially advertised online. Every 2 or 3 pages of reading on the app brought 1-2 minutes of advertising which I was okay with and I had X’d out of. Free reading means you get advertising. **However, about every 5 minutes of having the app open, it would automatically try to open up my internet search engine and automatically start scanning my phone. No app should ever be able to do that. I tried everything under the sun in settings to limit the app’s capabilities. Nothing worked. Now my phone’s texting alert sound has an echo to it and texting is lagging. I think my phone has a bug now. Not sure how to fix that. Thanks for the story but not happy about the bug in my phone.

Love it, but something is wrong.. I am absolutely stoked to have found an app where you only have to watch and add every so often to continue reading a story. Currently reading a story I absolutely love but lately anytime I read or use the app it takes me to the internet pulling up a tab about scams and whatnot, or my phone starts setting off an alarm and in my notifications it says something is scanning through my phone. I don’t want to delete the app because I’m invested in the story I’m reading but it’s been being a little sketchy. Wondering and hoping it’s just a glitch with the app?

The Trap of the CEO’s Ex-Wife. I am into this book, but the writing is horrible, the writer repeats themselves over and over. This book should be over, it should have a happy ending, but all there is is one tragedy after another. So many misspelled words, many words running together. and chapters not long enough. Get it together please, finish this book, watch what your doing, and please stop with so many tragedies. You can’t have a page half way down it, with very few words, some words repeated then the chapter is over, and you have to wait 24 hours for another chapter the same way.

Done with this app. This app was okay at first. It is free because you have to watch ads between every couple chapters. It is also frustrating because the stories are ongoing and you first get two new chapters a day ( only if you check story everyday). After while it only gives you one new story each day. So i have just given up tryn get to end of story. Before it is even said i also tried starting new story until update shows but same results with new story as well. So now i have two stories i wont be finishing.

Hmm. Yes the app is free. Yes you can read for free, if you watch ads. However waiting for days for the next chapter is excruciating!!! As soon as the 2 books/stories I’ve started are finished-I’m deleting the app. Just isn’t worth the frustration of waiting for days to read the next few pages, only to have to wait again for a few more pages. It’s taking months to read 2 stories. Oh yeah the rewards I’ve earned just keep disappearing. Shows error when I try to collect. When I return to app to try collect, the rewards are just gone😞 Reading is supposed to be fun, relaxing. I’m going back to the fun relaxing part of reading, which will omit novelflow.

Five, If editing was better…or even existed. Yes. It’s really free. Just have to put up with ads…which I can do. The story seems ok and I’m Looking forward to trying others, but editing is nonexistent. Biggest issue is verb tenses are all over the board and often wrong for the situation. Clearly not originally written in English or by a very poor English speaker (or AI, but I’d expect that to do a better job). I just don’t understand why someone would publish something in a language without getting an editor fluent in that language

So far the best reading app. So far this is the best I’ve found as far as price and ease of use. I paid for the subscription so I could finish this one book that caught my attention on fb. This book is dragging out forever though. You can tell the writers on the app are not experienced and these stories are unedited. Many seem to be written in “RP” format (IYKYK) However, I spent $20 on another app before finally giving up and not finishing the book. This one seems to have at least honored the subscription. The other was $9.99 per week and still didn’t allow unlimited reading of a story. I’m sure eventually I will either finish the book or cancel the subscription bc they are really dragging this out.

Truly free and love. I was a little skeptical when they said it was free. Often apps will say stuff like that and you find out they are not free at all. I have used this app for a few days and not once have I had to pay. I do not mind the ads. Ads are how they can keep the app up and running and still offer a free service. I appreciate that. So as someone that likes to read I truly love the app and feel it is worth it.

Worthless Points. The points earned are worthless. It takes 10,000 points to get ONE day of ad-free reading. I would rather be able to apply the points to reading chapters, and certainly not 10,000 worth of points. The monetary cost is also too much for an app like this. If you don't want to buy a subscription and can't earn points fast enough, which takes forever, you can watch an ad after each chapter. But there are problems with that. The ads are nearly three minutes long. Some chapters end in the middle of a sentence, and a new chapter starts in the last half of the sentence. And some chapters are way too short. On rare occasions, I have been able to look at an article instead of watching an ad. Within 20 seconds, I am back to reading the story. The app needs to do that constantly or start letting readers end the ad after 20 seconds. I am convinced that app creators get a kickback for showing ads. If it’s true, they would still get their kickback money while letting the user end the ads early. I know other apps let users end ads early. If you like watching the same ad several times, this app is for you.

Not worth it. I started reading a story on Instagram that caught my interest. I wanted to see how the story ended so downloaded the app. The Instagram post said you could read the books free. Reviews, which are clearly lies, made the app sound good, that the ads weren’t disruptive. After every chapter, you have to watch an ad. So you read for 1 minute, watch a 2 to 3 minute ad for a stupid game, read for a minute, watch a 2 to 3 minute ad. If you don’t want ads, you pay nine dollars a week. Kindle unlimited is just over that for a full month. Not worth the time, effort or money.

Plot Twists Galore!. Extremely well developed characters and vivid dialogue created a “can’t put this book down “ experience. A very interesting premise begins this story. With having three men, best friends at that in love with the main character would lead to a reverse harem situation, but it doesn’t, at least not so far. Hopefully, this book will continue and end soon. Can’t wait!

So far able to read. So far I’m able to read without having to go through a lot of issues but that’s what happens when you first start so I’m hoping it continues that way. I’m able to just read the book without having to purchase anything or wait days and days until you add enough points to read if that happens I’ll delete the app again

Trap of exwife. The story has been hard to follow with the writer confusing characters. And it’s very annoying to just get to read 2 chapters , then cut off. I won’t read another book. Now a year later I’m still trying to read, some days not updated, then only get 1 chapter, then maybe 2 chapters, I’m at Chapter 949. I’m getting ready to write my own ending and quit this App. I have friends that are also stuck in the same place. In the beginning you got to read 10 or more chapters, but this is ridiculous.

Enjoying the book. I am new to this app. I read the reviews before getting it. The complaints about the adds were in my opinion exaggerated. There are commercials when you watch TV. Just think of the adds as commercials. The chapters are short some could be combined. I’m on SSI I can’t pay a lot of money for these stories. The app and authors have to make money for their craft. Thank you for making it possible for those with limited income to enjoy these stories.

It’s…okay. Okay I got this app because I wanted to read the stories. The stories themselves are okay, right? It’s not gonna be a masterpiece of writing but hey, it’s entertaining. And I was okay with checking in and watching ads to get coins. But tell me why it wants me to allow tracking in my settings? And the way it forces you to either allow tracking or watching ads, is so buggy, it doesn’t let you choose none. I have coins and I have NO IDEA how to use them. I just hate the way it’s set up and the pop up ads, and it genuinely needs to be fixed so that it’s not as ugly to use.

Fantastic reading App.. With all other reading apps I’ve tried, they have all AGGRESSIVELY pushed their “paid services “ which I wouldn’t mind paying if they didn’t also charge separately for every chapter over the allotted 2 a day, if you suddenly find yourself with free time and are addicted to a story. This app lets you read several stories simultaneously with as far as I can tell no limits. Yeah, you have to watch an ad here and there but I’ve yet to have to spend coins ( or buy coins) in order to read chapters. I’ve only been using this for around 3 weeks but, so far so good & if something changes, I’ll update this review. This is my favorite app and I can’t recommend it enough.

Audio/author terrible. I don’t usually use it, but the audio is hard to understand. The first author I chose, RJ Kane, is unfortunate. It’s been really hard to read after about 350 chapters. She has lashed out at readers in her notes at the ends of chapters as well as on Instagram. I purposely chose a story that was marked as complete. It’s not and she’s combined her next book with this one without finishing the original storyline. So here I am waiting for another chapter to be written after she had said she’d be petty and withhold the rest of the story just to spite complaints. She ends chapters abruptly and continues on as if she didn’t mark it as a new chapter. The 3rd person writing is super ridiculous as well and hard to follow. She tells the story from 2 or 3 different perspectives in consecutive chapters. It’s redundant and if you’re paying by the chapter, a waste. I subscribed and will be cancelling. I’d rather pay for books on one of the major platforms than deal with rookie authors with a god complex. Side note: NOT an original title. Searched for this book to see if I could read it elsewhere. There was a book by this title written 3 years ago by another author.

Love this app. This app doesn’t trick you into reading a book and get you hooked on it, just to get 1/4 of the way through it and start making you pay for each chapter. I love that I can read as much as I want. After two chapters, watch a few commercials to get two more chapters. That I can live with! Thank you for not making us pay to buy coins to get the next chapters. Thank you for not saying it’s free then actually turn out to not be free. LOVE this app!!

You get what you pay for. Ads every few words. “Chapters” ending in a middle of a sentence. Spelling is ungodly. Stuff like: You’re, your, back yard vs backyard… But, the ads are just insults. Not only do you have to close them 16 times or so, but they now started with “ scroll down all the way … lower… click on ad… wait… wait, close, wait, close. It doesn’t let go either. Now, I don’t really know what they are selling there, but I do see red trying to close this sht every 2 minutes

Honest app. I have started many stories which require me to download an app where it says reading is free only to find it’s far from free so interesting stories are abandoned. NovelFlow is the first and only one so far that allows you to read chapter after chapter only requiring me to watch a video or pause for a quick ad. I hope they keep it up as the stories are good and keep your interest so you are able to truly enjoy reading them.

Love it. I have several of these apps but so far this one is the best. I’ve found several books I like. There are ads but for most of them you can just turn the page but there are a few that you have to watch. It’s how they get paid and we keep reading for free. I find I’m ok with this yes its a pain but it’s not as bad as other apps. Most of the ads are as I said just a couple of seconds then you may have a 30 second one. I don’t drink enough water so when the ads come on I drink because I have been known to get deep into reading and forget to drink my water lol. So a couple of swallows of water or other drink and I can get back to reading. Love this app very much.

Nice selections of books & free!. An excerpt of a book came up in my Facebook timeline that was very interesting. The comment said it was free. I had similar situations with another app but the free options were not worth it and even the paid options were a joke. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you can actually read all the chapters of a book in this App for free as long as you don’t mind watching adds to access 2 chapters at a time and don’t mind typos!

Disappointed. Got interested in a story online and decided to try app, downloaded it. Spent five days reading book only to be left disappointed after reading 195 chapters and left hanging with no ending book wasn’t finished! Very disappointed on spending all that time and now am not able to finish reading the book since author never finished it! Books incomplete shouldn’t be here! Very sad and was really enjoying it and now am quite upset by not being able to finish the book!

Reading worthwhile/ truly is free reading. I love this app and spend much time on it because the books are great and I love reading them I’m stuck on one book as of now and can’t wait to get to the end it was a relief to see once I download the book it act was free and it give you the option to go ad free if you want but they give you the coins to turn to real money for ad free reading for a couple days……But the app is really great and I like it definitely recommend for readers who like reading worthwhile books that keep you on your toes

King of the underworld. I absolutely love your app the stories are amazing and I love reading Sometimes I read around 6 hours a day because the stories are so interesting The only thing that upsets me is that some of the stories are not complete and I have to wait until the next chapter is put together but in the meantime I just start another book

Actually Completely Free. This app is actually completely free just like it says. I have downloaded other apps and been forced to either pay to unlock chapters or save enough coins to unlock chapters. Every 2 chapters or so I have to watch an ad but I’ll take it for saving on the constant cost. You still get coins on this app which you can save to ‘purchase’ a full day premium. I was also able to find books I was reading on other apps but haven’t been able to finish due to the cost of unlocking chapters.

Best app so far. Normally I DO NOT leave reviews….this app was worth the time. Let me break it down: NO MONEY NEEDED, they ask if you want to buy ad free that is it. Now as for the ads most you swipe past the others are 5 seconds (there is a timer), there are slightly longer ads but nothing that I found too long or made this app not worth using and it didn’t happen in an annoyingly often way. It is honestly a truly good app.

Change-Updated. I’ve been using this app for a few months now and I like it for the most part, but they have gone from reading two chapters then ad to one then ad. I have no problem watching ads considering it’s free, but most ads seem longer than chapters. Ads just seem to got longer and it’s becoming aggravating. UD: The ads are getting longer, even the in between ones when up flip to next page. I appreciate that it’s free but it seems to take longer and longer now to read anything. Not sure how much longer I’ll use this app.

Novelflo. I’m reading a great story right now and browsing the library I can tell I’ll be reading more. Like all apps like this there is a chance of running into a story with very obvious errors with grammar and spelling. If you can see past that though it’s still a great read. Be prepared to get hooked enough you get desperate for another chapter. This means spending money, or if you can’t afford that, like me, you are in for a lot of adds for free chapters. I have no regrets.

So Far, so Good. At this point, I've been able to continue the story I had started reading on Facebook. There have been minimal interruptions by advertising--some to which I actually pay attention. The most difficult part about the story are the grammatical errors. I wish they'd actually have a real person edit stories because the errors are most distracting. Overall, I've enjoyed this ap.

I like it, but…long + sketchy ads. I like the app and stories, but there are too many ads. Ads when you swipe while reading and ads after every chapter. Can’t really get into the story with all the frequent interruptions. The chapters are short (like a few paragraphs) and the ads are long. You should be able to read 3 chapters without an ad. The website ads are sketchy. They talked you to a page and want you to click on things to unlock a chapter. I don’t participate in those and they should force you either. Otherwise…i like the app

Free, but…. In the time you spend watching ad after ad after ad, only to read two or three pages and have to set through another ad… You are really paying for this app. I do enjoy reading this particular book or I would’ve already given up and removed this app from my phone. it is frustrating to swipe only to be met with yet another ad that you have to sit through. If I could find this book somewhere else, I would probably read it there. But, the book is full of punctuation and grammar errors, so I’m not sure the author could even get it published anywhere else. The storyline is fair, and the characters are interesting.

Ads. I have had the NovelFlow app for over a year and they claimed at that time that all the reading was free and you only had to pay if you didn’t want ads. I now have to watch an ad after every chapter. I don’t understand why they changed their format. I’m a person who’s on a fixed income and can’t afford a weekly, monthly,,or annual subscription. If this is how it’s going to be they could at least let us read maybe 5 chapters and then watch a ad. At least try and give us more chapters to read before a ad.

Dark mode problem. This app is truly free sometimes the ads can be very annoying when they have 30-60 second ads pop up back to back. Anyway what really kinda grinds my gears is the stupid pop up ad box on the bottom of the screen. I go to turn dark mode on to help my eyes when I read at night. When I do that yes the page gets dark however that ad box on the bottom blinds me as it’s normally white and majority of the time it’s that solitaire ad. So everything on my screen will be dark and grey but that ad box. I wish the ad box would either darken as well or just go away. I watch enough ads as it is don’t really need one on the bottom of my page. It annoys me so much that I just turn my phone off and go to bed.

Love the stories but. I normally read a book in 1 - 2 days depending on number of pages and if it’s a good story. I downloaded this app KNOWING there would be ads to unlock chapters and I had no issue with that, but it’s the ads that pop up ever other page in between the chapters that is so irritating. Some are just as long as the one you have to watch to unlock the next 3 chapters! I’m on chapter 125 so you can imagine how many ads I have already watched. And how many chapters are there? How many pages are remaining to the end of the story? I HAVE NO CLUE! The chapters are very VERY short. So how many chapters are in a book for this app? 130? 150? 200? NO, OVER 500! Needless to say, I will begrudgingly finish this book only because I want to know what happens to a few of the characters in the book, but I won’t be reading any more and will likely delete the app.

Too many. I started reading it today. I’m enjoying the story but almost every three pages. There is a page it comes on and you can just slide it over. There’s also an ad you have to watch. Then every three chapters you have to watch another ad. I don’t mind if I have the slip that one page ad across the page, but I do mine and add before the three chapters are done because it’s taken way too long and it interrupted almost every three minutes. This is my first book. I hope I can get through it because it is interesting it and I like it, but it might be my last.

Really Awesome. I am cure giving this app 4 stars as I just downloaded it and have been reading all day. I’ve read some of the other reviews and they are totally right as far as I’ve experienced. The books do have a couple of misspellings but it’s easy to interpret what is actually meant. You only have to watch the occasional ad and you get right back to reading. I will come back in a month or two and give a reevaluation. I am anticipating that it will be getting 5 stars. I am very impressed so far.

This is ok. Love reading. I usually use kindle. I downloaded this app because I saw an ad for a book that looked good. Hate these apps where you have to watch ads to get coins to move on. I know you can pay but by the time you’re done you could have bought a ton of books. But looks like you can just watch ads to continue with the book so that’s not bad. But what I find ridiculous is that once you get to whatever it is finished with the book you have to wait until the next chapter is available. I just want to read it. I don’t want to wait. Decent stories on here. Guess I’ll go to the books where they are completed.

I don’t mind the ads. I hate the book apps that only allow you to pay money to read more. I am perfectly content watching an ad to read a few more chapters because that is what my pocket money allows so I think it is wonderful this alternative option is provided in order to read a good book without paying or waiting 35+ hours to read the next chapter.

WORTH IT. FINALLY, an app that advertises free reading and actually IS FREE. Sure, you have to watch an add after each chapter but I’d much rather do that than spend money unnecessarily. (Note: You could pay a subscription for add-free reading, but as a full-time student I can’t indulge in this offer. Maybe in the future they will offer a student discount.) You get check-in and task coin rewards, but I still haven’t figured out its purpose because you can’t use them towards unlocking chapters… it seems that once you reach 10,000 coins a you can cash out $1. I wish we could use the coins towards unlocking chapters, but I won’t complain since to pros outweigh this tiny con. So happy I can finally read for free! I’ll take the ads instead of paying any day!

Not free to read a story. This is NOT a free app. Could only read a few chapters when it wanted me to pay. Deleted the app after 15 minutes

Worth Downloading. Downloaded just to read King of the Underworld after getting roped in by the snippet on a FB ad, lol. It also said ‘100% free to read all chapters of all books’ or something along those lines, which was a huge plus as I’m not one to spend $ on apps, lol. The only catch is, after a certain number of chapters, you just have to watch an ad for 2 free chapters, which I’m happy to do. It does offer in-app purchases to read sans ad if you’d rather do that, too.

way too much ads. One Ad every 30 seconds is ridiculous and frustrating, i understand the story is free but jeez make it at least 1 ad per minute or 2 would have been bearable. The stories are good though 😩

Not worth it. You claim to be free but the amount of ads makes this app crippled. Every other page has a swipe ad then you get a video ad in order to get 2 chapters. Which crashes your phone. Got hooked on a story but couldn’t read it and the subscription is stupid - once you go pass the first month the amount is at least doubled. I understand you need subscribers but you don’t have to cripple the app just because we want a free read. Nice little con you have going.

Free. So far the book im reading is free, unlike other apps that you need to keep spending money to read every chapters.

Fated Hands. Good twists and turns keeping you on your toes.

Incomplete book. I paid the subscription costs only to read a “complete” book which is not finished with an expectation that you continue to pay whilst chapters are released every so often. Do yourself a favour and go buy a book from a reputable provider.

Stuck on their Ad Encouraging Me to Subscibe. I am very disappointed. I only got a short way into a story when I got stonewalled by an ad trying to get me to sign up for a subscription. Their ‘free’ books don’t seem so free. I am deleting the app.

Good little app. I have been using the app for a while and I really enjoy it, yes have to watch ads to get more chapters etc, but I don’t have to sell my soul just read a book by new writers. Happy reader

Missing chapters. Was really enjoying reading a book, even though the ads interrupt the flow, but just as it was getting to a good part the book just jumped - found the same book in another app and there were 5 chapters more in it than here.

I can’t cancel. I subscribed to this with my bank information and when I wanted to cancel it says I have to cancel through PayPal. It refuses to let me cancel any other way. I can’t cancel through PayPal as I’ve never used PayPal to pay for the subscription. I’m very mad about this and will be reporting to my bank as a fraudulent charge.

Reading is no longer unlimited. Have been enjoying this platform for online reading for a good year now. Suddenly I’ve lost all my points. Also unlimited reading is no longer available. If you don’t pay you have a limited number of chapters before being blocked. I’m now prevented from reading for an hour. First time block was 10 minutes, then after a chapter it was 35 minutes. Every chapter the time increases. Why the change!

Use to love. I use to love this app. Watch an ad read a chapter. Not any more. You can read a couple chapters then wait. Then read another chapter and wait 30 minutes. Read a chapter wait 35 minutes. I get they want you to buy a membership for free reading. But $20 weekly so $80 a month is ridiculous. Books are ok but typical ppc books. Some are great books but still not worth the price asked. Other subscription reading apps are cheaper but $60 or more a month with edited/grammar checked reads.

Love. This app is great , pretty expensive considering kindle is only like 10$ a month and it’s unlimited reading but still good

Scam! Beware!!. Update: After much effort, I was able No way to cancel the subscription but I had to contact them directly via email - it was very stressful and time consuming. Beware of these difficulties if you choose to subscribe. No way to cancel subscription! Says payment was made through PayPal but no way to cancel through mayoral as there is no record of the transaction despite the transaction being processed!! I don’t even have my credit card linked to PayPal!

Yes, it’s free, but…. The quality of the books available is less than stellar, actually, they’re downright bad. Doesn’t anyone use spellcheck anymore or know the proper use of punctuation? Just a small example. Gave me a headache dealing with the s͟a͟m͟e͟ a͟d every few minutes. The books are “free” because every 3 pages a pop-up ad appears, and every 3 chapters, to continue, you must tolerate another ad with no mute button. Once I publish this review, the app is going away. Not worth the kb it uses. Not even worth a single byte.

Time has value. The frequent interruptions are understandable, they serve two purposes. First they get paid to advertise then by the irritating frequency they get people to pay for “ad free” (ummm … not quite). Then they “lock up” on adds where you can’t close them to continue reading. It’s “download or die” to them. They have good stories-if you can get past the garbage and frustration. They say free but I wonder at their definition.

Nice read. Really nice to read a free book without having to keep it on a shelf! There are ads but I don’t mind them as a rule. Would prefer fewer ads but that keeps us readers from paying for the book. Of course you can pay a small fee and get an ad free read. All in all it’s a nice app to have.

Honest marketing. I love reading books on this app. It is honest and tells you upfront you will have to watch ads, but you don’t have to wait on enough coins or spend money to read the book.

Fun reading. Most reading apps charge you to read. “NovelFlow” plays ads to unlock 3 chapters at a time. I ABSOLUTELY love this this app. They give you option to be ad free but still the ads aren’t bad or terribly long and it unlocks a 3 chapters each time. I have deleted all other reading apps and kept this one ONLY.

Don’t believe them!. I thought I finally found a book program that I could read the book. Instead, they bait and switch when you start to read you have to start swiping at the bottom in order to continue reading the page after so many swipes you then have to watch ads. After that you go through the whole process all over again. Not worth it, not worth my time.

So far so good. I've only had the app for 1 day. It does have short ads but has remained free to continue reading. Sometimes it opens up a website ad which is more annoying but is easy to close the website and go back into the app to continue reading. Hopefully, it stays like this longterm 🤞🏻.

Way too many ads. I expected ads and I’m fine with a reasonable amount. However this is getting ridiculous. At first it was an ad for 2 chapters. Then as you get further along it’s an ad each chapter. Now it’s an ad every couple of pages. The story in interesting and I want to see how it ends but at this point I’m probably going to delete the app. Disappointing.

Love the books !. I love reading your books, and first I totally understand the ads and I have no problem watching them to read the next 3 chapters, my issue is once I watch those ads I then have to watch an ad every single time I turn a page. Is that normal or am I just one of the lucky ones ?! Lol

I love novel flow. I absolutely love novel flow it’s nothing like the other ones where you have to pay to continue reading sure it has adds but nothing to big and a few adds that you only have to watch for like 5 seconds and then you can continue reading

I really enjoy this site. What I don’t like is half the ads won’t close. so after waiting for a while, trying to close them. I half to close the ad out. Then I half to reopen the app to continue to read the story.

Best free reading app. This is a fantastic free reading app!! I love that it has all of the werewolf stories I could want! And the mafia bosses! And so much more!! There are a lot of ads, but you can jump right past them, and they are mostly just 1 page ads. You will love all of the free romance novels!!

Love the Stories…however. The stories draw you in. What is frustrating is that some are not complete and there is no end to the stories. There should be a disclaimer that the book is incomplete. I love the Werewolf and vampire books. Long time fan of the horror genre. Keep up the good work.

Keeps crashing.. I’ve made it to chapter 90- something on my first novel. And now, every time I click on the app it loads but when I click to continue my story it crashes and exits to my phones Home Screen. I even tried to start another book to see if it was just that story, but no. It crashes every time I click the app and takes me to my home screen. Please fix it. I enjoy this app and don’t want to uninstall it.

Good reads. I've tried many of these reading apps. This is the first one that doesn't make me jump through crazy hoops to be able to read a book. The ads don't interfere with the flow of the story and the stories, so far, are interesting and enjoyable.

App crashing. App crashes every time I open it. I’ve tried everything- deleting and redownloading the app, restarting my phone, making more space on my phone (there was already plenty). My suggestion would be to NOT spend ANY money on this app until you have spent at least a few hours reading on it with no issue- because you’re going to pay money for an app that doesn’t work.

Great reading platform. This is a great app for free reading. Yes you have to watch ads but most of the time you can watch one ad and get to read 3 chapters. Plus if you don’t like the book choose another one. There is plenty to choose from.

It really has been free so far!. So far all I’ve had to do is watch ads to unlock chapters which is awesome! (1 ad to unlock 3 chapters at a time!) I don’t have to wait for coins or tokens to unlock chapters and I don’t have to buy anything. I highly recommend this app!

Deceptive practices. The app gives you the option to watch an ad to get two free chapters, but there are still interruptions while you read. I counted after the first error - for chapters 6&7 I had TWELVE interruptions, either ads begging me to get a subscription for them or outside ads entirely, one of which was fanduel. If you’re telling people that they’re getting free chapters, then there should be NO interruptions for that period of time.

Easy to use and wide selection. I appreciate the app and options to read with just a few add interruptions in order to read for free. There is a wide variety of reads to select from.

The Joy of Revenge. So far I am really liking the book. I haven’t seen any grammatical or editorial errors and the ads seem to be in keeping with free reading, so that’s a win in my eyes. Hurt. I recently got back into reading. I love the novels, however; once I got hooked on what I wAs reading has I tried to open new chapters, I was unable to go any further. I don’t understand why this would happen and it would happen with ever novel I would start reading and hooked on. I would really like to finish what I start reading to the end.

It’s one of the best reading apps. I really enjoy reading on this app I can read as much as I want without having to watch hundreds of videos. I can read up to 3 chapters and I have to watch one video and then keep reading, so with this app I give it a 10+.

Where are the other characters?. I love reading but if I’m going to pay for this app the least you can do is finish the books, I paid for the first month but if I can’t finish one book in a month you are going to lose me as a customer. Please finish the books before you uploading them to the app, by not doing this it is faults advertising

Best app ever. I can’t believe it’s actually free to read amazing books, and trust me I have so many apps that said “Free chapters” and the ask for payment to keep reading. Commercials are fine I don’t mind and I really really love the book selections. Finally satisfied!!!!!

Boss of the underworld. Love this book so much. I’m not much of a reader but I can’t put this book down. It holds your interest from one chapter to the next. I love the detail of all of the characters. It’s interesting and exciting.

Best app I have found. The novel I am reading is well written and engaging. This one is free so far with a short ad to watch every three chapters. It is great to be able to read through an interesting book without wiring about buying coins.

I married the CEO. How come I have to wait so long for the rest of the story to upload? It makes no sense to advertise your books if we cannot read it all you get enough of money through the ads there’s enough of them.

It’s too bad…. I paid for the annual ‘premium’ no-ads (which I never do)- and I’m still getting every few pages. Even worse-?? Starting with Chapter 11, you can only see 1 1/2 pages then it cuts off and you go to the next chapter. I’ve gone ahead numerous chapters dealing with ads-!!)- all of them are like that. Pro’s: it really is free Con’s: *While the authors have vivid imaginations, there are some spelling mistakes that are very noticeable. *There are way too many ads that take away from the reading enjoyment. Every time something pivotal occurs an ad pops up. It’s as deflating as watching TV. *There are times it’s not even possible to read two pages before an add pops up and to make it worse, you have to watch an ad to unlock the next three chapters. However, have no fear because as soon as you unlock the next three chapters, another ad pops up right after reading the unlocked page. *So many ads you should download the kindle app and consider kindle unlimited. Definitely a better experience than this.

Free just like it says. The only reason I didn’t do 5 stars is because of the ads. But if you watch the ads, you can read as much as you want for free. Like really free. You don’t have to pay for anything unless you want to get rid of the ads. The ads aren’t that long either

King of the Underworld. I am completely hooked on this novel!! Love the characters! I would normally not be able to continue a book this long but I have been unable to put it down for weeks now and it keeps going. Love it and the writers story telling style. Brianne

Too many ads on paid subscription. Loved this app at first but after the first paid subscription month, there are CONTINUOUS ads. I would understand if it was free, but I am paying for a monthly subscription and every three chapters I have to watch an ad and every two pages within those three chapters I had to swipe an ad away. This is very distracting and takes away from being able to read the book properly. It’s a shame because the book was really good, but it’s just not worth the trouble.
