Wonderful free book finder. I love this app. It’s just what I was looking for. My daughter reads a lot and I can’t be purchasing a book every day or two for her. This solved that problem. It is easy to use and works great. T adds the downloaded books to my Apple Books quickly and effortlessly.

E books. I love all the choices of free books, and I can read a small detail of what the story is about. If it is in a series, it usually starts with book one, instead of farther in the story. Pudge48

Free Books.. I have access to books that exist in only a few places. All the Classic books written before 1920 are available free. I am interested in history. When studying a certain era, it is best to read books written in that time period. This site is a big help to my ancestors research!

Searching.... Ebook service is truly wonderful, but the search function has too wide a focus. “American Drama” shows a lot of Brit, East Indian, and European pieces.

Free and easy. I learned about this app from a friend. She sent me the link and I thought it probably would not work. I thought I would not find any books I was interested in. Boy was I wrong! As a blind user, I very much enjoyed the accessibility with voiceover. It is so nice to be able to just click the download button, and my book is in the e-books app. As I said very easy. I must have app and any book readers collection.

Wonderful for classics. This app is terrific not only to read the classics but for research, if you are a writer of any kind. Whether you are a journalist, write essays, are working on the great American novel, this can be an in valuable source to research classics and obscure literature of the past. There's so much bad literature today with the ability to self publish it it's helpful to look back and appreciate how eloquent writers were when the standards were higher.

Works as intended. This in an excellent source of free e-books. The older mysteries and thrillers are well written and are fun to read. You can search Project Gutenberg by author. Try searching for R. Austin Freeman or Sax Rohmer. Enjoy!

Great Source for Free Books. I was looking for a copy of a classic mystery that has just been made into a movie. The Ebook was not available from my library, so I decided to give this App a try instead. It works great! Found the book I was looking for (it was free!) & downloaded it into iBooks. Easy to read. Format similar to that for my library reader with options on type and a count of pages so you know where you are at. I highly recommend it.

eASY to use!!. The eBook Search app is likely the easiest tool I’ve used. I selected a book, downloaded with no problems, and then was directed here to write a review (it indicated it would do so beforehand). Very simple but a great deal of stored information!

Excellent!. This ebook search tool is the best! It enables you to search through all the major sources for free publications, and specify author, name, keywords, and genre. Inkstone also makes a fantastic app for locating audiobooks and podiobooks.

iBook store. How can you not like it! Finding the book at my fingertips is better then going through a ton of rows at the library. Although it is still nice to visit the library but not when its outing down with rain (NZ) or blazing hot (Australia). Love this app!!

Gutenberg rival. This is an excellent and easy app for eBook search, download and read..so far, as good as Gutenberg which is almost blasphemy..I could be shot at dawn..but be aware, , like Gutenberg, most books written decades before total social enlightenment and some texts may contain offensive and hurtful material - e.g. racist and homophobic passages - which were tragically part and parcel of the accepted beliefs of those times..(Thank God not acceptable today!)

Great for older books. Another reviewer complained that there seemed to be no new books available. Whether correct or not, this app excels in finding older books that are very well worth reading and re-reading. I commend the developer.

Not worth it. I'm very annoyed that I bought this app. NONE of the books are recent. Even in the "Internet catalogue" which claims to have over a million books listed, NONE of them are recent book. NOT WORTH IT!!!

Fast!. Provides me with opportunities I did not know existed.

It's good. The app is good for what it does, but... for crying out loud, stop with the constant reminders to go write a review -- it's like every second book download. Hate that kind of in-app harrassment. I'll write a review when I'm ready and after I've had time to fully experience what it does and how well it does it. I've been forced to write this to get the constant nagging to stop.

Really?. Great update - now it doesn't work at all. I got thrown out twice when I was trying to search for a book.

So, you want to read a book?. Thousands upon thousands of books, I could get so lost in here, this app is brilliant. ePub format opens in iBooks, very easy to search.

Easy access to old gems. I was able to find a free download of an obscure book, it took me less than two minutes! I searched in one database of free books, not there. Then I searched in another, and there it was! It was available in two versions, so I chose the Kindle version. No cost, no waiting for delivery!

Like a diamond in the rough. Not only is this a valuable place to just come and find great books, but it’s legitimately a place to find great resources. I have downloaded, no word of a lie, medical textbooks, (specifically for the sake of interest and information- not because I’m in school and super cheap 😛) I’ve downloaded legal documents and their reviews which have helped me understand specific issues I’ve faced. It’s like a goldmine. Never close this beautiful, valuable, treasure trove. I’m on here all the time.

Great Variety. This app contains many books that were considered great literature. It also has a list of books that were banned, such as: Alice in Wonderland, Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Fin, The Great Gatsby, Sons and Lovers etc. It was interesting to see what former generations considered to be so vulgar as to be banned. However its forte is offering some very interesting books for free.

Love It. The new update made the app unusable for me, but the problem disappeared when I updated my iPad to the most recent update. Very useful. An endless collection (or, collections) of books. It's like having a personal library of all the great authors of the last couple hundred years or so in my pocket. I used the free version of this app for a long time. I thought, "Why pay when I can get these books online for free anyway?" I realized I use the app so much it's worth the small one-time price to have the ad-free, expanded pro version. If you only use the app occasionally the free version will suffice, but if you love to read then pro is worth it.

It works. This app searches databases for available downloads, retrieves the item quickly and drops it in your choice of apps to read. I have used this app for about 10 days and still haven't found anything to gripe about. Money well spent.

Excellent. Easy. Fast. So many titles

Super fast download for app! But poor navigation once there!. I haven't used the app yet but the app download, loaded faster and higher priority then all other similar apps! That's PRO. Well worth the cost! Until, I looked for book and it wasn't found. "How to win every argument", wasn't on free catalog so I tried to find my way back to my search and add author's name " ,Nicholas Capaldi or a different catalog, without success. I should have used the catalog to search "ALL books". I'm gonna try again.

Ebook Search Pro. I've used this app for several years and have NEVER had an issue that made me want to kvetch about it. All apps have intermittent issues but whether or not they do as advertised the majority of the time is what I want. I've been working on/in computers since the 1990's so sporadic issues are typical. If it happens to a Windows box I tell people to reboot and try again. Same thing for the Mac or Linux world. Machines/devices have their own idiosyncrasies so don't get your shorts wadded up and give the software the benefit of the doubt. If you just can't tolerate a little hiccup once in a while then delete it and find something else you like. Good luck with that.

I really like this app. I downloaded this app while it was on sale, and it was free. I really like it. It works very well, it's very easy to use, and it is well organized, and it gives me access to a lot of books. It's really easy to search books, and download them on my iPad. It's just working fine without any issues so far.

Can't go wrong. Honestly I only bought this pro Verizon because I liked the free one, and wanted to support it. I give the app 4 stars only because it doesn't have very current books on it. Regardless though, if you find at least 3 books you like (which you shall easily) you got way more than your dollars worth. I would recommend trying the free version first to see if you like it to someone that feels hesitant about buying the app. Overall it's a great app, give it a try!

Good idea, but .... The idea here is a good one, but the search process is frustrating at best. If you have no idea what you are looking for and read something you land on, great. But, if you are looking for something specific; author, title, etc., then forget it. You won't have enough time to read it when you finally find it. The second star is for the intent of this app, but I can't ever picture really using it.

If you like to read this app is loaded. So many books and so little time. Fortunately you won't find any book starting with "It was a dark and stormy night." Every book is unique and you will find it using this app. Happy reading!

Great app. Buy it you won't regret

Nice app but.... ...needs a bulk download feature; one by one gets old real quick especially when after downloading a few books it goes back to the top of the list. Not a huge deal but when you are on the 50th or so book and it does this and you have to scroll all the way back down to download the next book, well, like I said it gets tiresome. P.S. -- Spend the money to get the Pro version or you will be bombarded by ads...Pop-ups, banner ads and commercials.
