Inferior to even the built in iPhone app. Took a dozen or so photos at different light, stability, and subjects. Although the app does give a higher percentage zoom than normal I saw no detectable stabilization and every photo was of less clarity than that taken side by side with the default camera app.

Terrible. Would not use at football games like eyedoctor2. If I could give it a zero I would. I tried to look at the ocean but all I saw was blue. Terrible quality.

Meh, it's OK, but could be better. For starters, how about allowing users to access both lenses of dual-lens phones? That alone would make it a 5-star app. I found digital zoom useful only up to about 8X. Access to the tele lens would solve that problem.

Binoculars app not worth it. This is a waste of money. I wish I could get a refund. It’s no better than a camera zoom and even if it does enlarge everything is blurry. Don’t easte the money. Pack your real binoculars.

No clue. For some reason my app just runs upside down and mirrored. It’s next to impossible to get any worth while pictures

Watermark. I just paid for this app and the first pictures I took had the logo. I feel this ruined my pictures and I can’t share them with others. I could understand wanting the logo for the free version but once I pay for it I feel the watermark should come off. They already have my money. If they take the watermark off the paid version I will update my review. Until then unless you want to advertise for them and have their logo in your pictures then don’t pay for this.

Wasted money. It’s really disappointing when you spend your hard earned money on a piece of junk… These things do not work well! The pictures and videos are horrible quality

Well... I mean, on iphone 6s it's clear just maybe up to the 4x zoom, similar to the built in ios camera. The 8x and 16x just stretch it, and make it grainy. So it's a bit false in its claim to give you true 16x on older devices. It's just around 4x but beyond that it's just duplicating the same pixels.

Poor quality 720P plus Watermark!!!. Ruined my video with your watermark. Why???? I paid for the app. You said the watermark would be removed. NOT TRUE!! Misleading! Also, can’t see how to shoot video in 4K or at least 1080p. Zoomed in 8x and the quality was terrible! I want my money back!

Doesn’t work. Installed on iPhone 13 pro. When I open the app, all I see is a black screen.

DO NOT PURCHASE! NOT AS ADVERTISED!. If there were zero stars, this app would deserve it. I contacted the company and questioned their false advertising: 1. It does NOT go to 32x as advertised , only 16x on my iPhone 13; 2. Even at 16x, the photos are hopelessly grainy, not “clear” as advertised. As I stated, I contacted the company. No response. A waste of money. DO NOT PURCHASE!

Not clear. I tried to do a small words but is was blurry

Less than 1 star. I bought it hoping to get decent quality video and pictures at a concert at the Hollywood Bowl (since I couldn’t have my camera & could only use my phone ) but all the pictures were blurry no matter what I tried. And the videos I tried recording never saved to my iPhone. Waste of $5 dollars. Wasn't user error either; I’m a photographer.

Don’t bother. Really glad I got this for free. It does not do what it says - image quality is the same as if you just zoom in in the base camera app.

Not Binoculars. This is not what I expected at all. I was hoping this app would work as actual binoculars and allow me to view a comet in the sky. I have zero use for this app and actually find it confusing. Would like my money back.

Finally after quite a wait was contacted via email.. Was able to delete and reload. Still worth the money.

Crashes on magnification. This use to be a good app. But recently it is crashing as soon as I try to magnify the camera. I do hope this gets fixed.

Phone camera is better. I was hoping this app would help me capture the moon but it lags while moving and the photos are just a white blob.

Really Love the Satellite View Feature. It's like having a SUPER telephoto stabilized lens with me at all times.

A watermark...really??. This app worked well for what I wanted, the ability to zoom more than 3x for video, however this PAID app leaves a watermark of their logo on your pictures and videos. Would have been good to know this before I recorded a graduation ceremony that now looks like an ad for this app.

Vision Quest. I’m a person with very poor vision. Thanks to the Binoculars App I’m able to see images close up. And clear. If you’re looking for a very useful app, try the Binocular you can’t go wrong! R. Harper

Only my opinion…Junk!. Absolute trash. Says 32x. Meter goes only to 16x, and It ain’t even that. 5x on my iPhone 13 gives a much clearer image. Image stabilization is awful. Website said $2.99; charged me $5.99. I should have checked. Alas…(plaintive sigh here).

False advertising. This app DOES NOT do what it claims. Photos and videos are incredibly grainy and low-quality. To make matters worse, all your photos and videos get a watermark and there is now way to remove it. I tried getting a refund from Apple (due to the app’s false advertising and bad quality) but they denied it. So Apple doesn’t truly care about apps scamming its consumers.

Crashes. Would be nice if the app didn’t crash Every time you try to use it. Do not buy this app!

Seriously!?!. All this app does is blow up your photo. The resolution is no better than zooming in to your photo. I would not recommend spending the money. And adding a watermark is totally unnecessary!

Works as advertised. Great quality, particularly in good lighting. Looking forward to using it at football games!

Umm no. Ok it is just like my iOS camera. The zoom is good up to 4x but after that it’s fuzzy and not clear at all. Really with a almost 5 star rate. People most of been paid to write these reviews.

Dynamic Island, sharpness. I love how Binoculars has options to sharpen video more than other camera apps, though causes “bokah” if there is an object much closer to the iPhone than the main subject, prefer everything be sharp. Knocked off a star because the top menu is partially blocked by the Dynamic Island.

Junk. Piece of junk. I can’t get any of the zooms (4,8,16) to work on the iPhone 12 mini. Picture is always 1x. Can’t understand how anyone would give this app more than 1 star.

Simple but works. Probably should be called monocular, but it has nice anti shake functionality

No Support Contact. I purchased this app, recently, to see just how far it can push the limitations of my camera. I was very pleased with the results. However, upgrading to iOS 15, caused some of the camera apps to show a black screen when using but still takes photographs. Hopefully, the developer will push an update to fix this issue. This is why I gave it three stars, obviously if there was a fix, I will change my rating to a higher number. Likewise, if there is not a fix and currently no way to get a hold of the software developer, my rating will go down.

Best Binocular app. I’ve had several binocular apps but this is by far the best one yet. It doesn’t throw up an ad in your face, covering the entire screen right at the moment you need to use it for that possible once in a lifetime view or picture you need to take. I’ve offloaded all of the other binocular apps except this one & don’t see ever needing a different one.

I only have x16. App says x32 but the highest option for me is x32. What do I do?

Not worth it.. I compared this app to what I see with the camera app. This app is no different. Not worth it. Deleted and requested a refund.

All digital zoom's fail - including this one. The 'stabilization' that this app "supports" is also virtually non-existent. When it does kick in you get stable digital image blocks as opposed to unstable digital image blocks. All you get here is something only ever so slightly better than you get with the camera. I got it free some time ago and deleted it within minutes. Yeah, it's that awful... Remember folks, only optical zoom can maintain clarity. Anything else gives your increasingly less fidelity. Please please please🙏 🙏🙏 don't pay for this app folks, you WILL be disappointed. Ignore the paid-for 4/5 star reviews because it really isn't with more than a few pennies for novelty's sake.

Binoculars. Not terribly useful - zooming in close enough to see things from a distance of more than 25 feet or so makes the view fuzzy.

Worst ever. I paid money for this? After I tried to use it it recorded some thing and would never let me use it again. This is the biggest waste of money that I have ever encountered on an app. These people should be put in jail.

Best zoom possible. A great app for offering extended zooming while keeping the best quality possible. Stability also makes the image shake significantly less than camera zoom.

Out of focus. When you zoom to 8x and 16x, the object is very blurry.

Duh. It's the Camera With a Skin. This is pretty much useless. What you have is your camera optics and zoom quality. If you think a crummy digital zoom is going to replace your real binocs... Then you will be happy with this app. Everyone else will realize they threw away a buck. The app can only work with what the phone sensor has to offer, it's not gonna magically make it high res.

Horrible. This app was a total waste of my money. My phones camera zoomed in better and clearer than this app. Forgot binoculars on our camping trip, so we thought we would try these. Total disappointment!

Cool App. I wish I could manually focus it. My vision is a little off but not bad enough for glasses yet. I can't tell if it's not focusing or if it's me. Cool idea though.

Lame. Use your camera. It doesn't do anything that your camera won't do. Just zoom with your camera take a picture. Hi-res mode is jumpy and not any better than low res plus the annoying frame by frame noise. Satellite view is the same as you see in maps with hybrid selected. What a waste!

IT'S OK. This app could be better like the real thing the only problem it has is that when u zoom in the things that your looking at are not that clear & would like 2 have more zoom like the real thing PLEASE CONSIDER THESE 2 THINGS ON YOUR NEXT UPDATE THANK YOU :)

WORK WITH IT!. Does EXACTLY what it said it would do PLUS when you tap on the top left button, it shows the location & an AERIAL VIEW of location with surrounding BUILDINGS & STREETS with NAMES!!! Last i checked my camera wasn't doing that! Oh, & did I mention I got it FREE!!!

Definitely not "there yet". I like the concept of this app, but there must be a way to do this without triggering the shutter, on my iPhone 4 it was so sluggish when fully zoomed in as to be completely useless. And btw it's spelled aerial (not Ariel, which is a mermaid's name)

The Only "Zoom" type app that takes HD, clear pictures. I was very reluctant to spend money on an app like this because I have got burnt so bad in the past by apps claiming to do what this app actually does. I took my chances and it works better than even they said it would! I love it! It's with every penny.

Very blurry! Don't buy!. This is the worst app I've ever downloaded. Like another reviewer said, the camera won't stop taking pictures once the photo quality is changed. The quality is extremely blurry. Don't waste your money on this app.

Binoc App. It's an o.k. app, it has a little extra on what it does but not really better or worse than some of my camera apps.

Great toy. I love how much fun I'm having with it. I only wish it had an image stabilizer for when you want to text a picture. But otherwise a great app.

Hey.... Without this app, you wouldn't get clearer pictures from afar. Plain and simple, you really wanna see what's out there, get the thermal imaging OTX-S 70 mm for 10 grand. I'd buy one right now If I had the money.

What a Joke. Gave 1 star only because 0 wasn't an option. Anyone who rated this higher than 1 doesn't know what binoculars are. I knew this wouldn't be as good as the real thing, but since it wasn't free I thought some finer technology might have been used. Wrong. Wasted 99 cents. Don't buy this app. Barely magnifies and is totally blurry.

Not what I hoped for ...at all :(. I have an iPhone 6 and the camera on this iPhone 6 Will zooming on as much as this app will I'm very disappointed I would love to have my money back.. It's a good idea but needs a lot of work thanks

TERRIBLE- ❌DON'T BUY❌. The quality is terrible and it gets so blurry when you zoom in and it takes up a ton of battery life. Holding my ipod like that risks me dropping it and because there is no eye holes to look in, the sun gets in your eyes. Not to mention if you go hunting or fishing with these dumb iPhone binoculars, if it rains you are screwed. Now I know apple will put the low rated reviews on the bottom so if you read this one then take my advice and do not buy this junk app.

Taximan. As a taxi driver, I found this particularly helpful. In San Francisco, the taxi industry, and Public Safety, is under threat from illegal taxis and limousines. It seems with anyone with a top light and paint to write "taxi" on their car can start picking up passengers, and charge whatever the illegal taxi driver wants to charge the victims. The taxi regulatory authority, the SF MTA, has an extremely limited amount of enforcement available to catch illegal taxis and limousines operating as taxis illegally. As a result, we are left to our own devices as taxidrivers to combat the proliferation of fraudulent activities involving taxis. This app proved most valuable in getting the license plate numbers of illegal taxis, to submit to the enforcement authorities. Whether that will result in any amelioration of the fraudulent activities remains to be seen. But thank you for providing the means to at least gather information needed to protect the public from taxis operating unlawfully. Yours Truly Taximan

I can see farther in real life.... Waste of zoom I can see farther and more Clearly than this app... Fix up the zoom to we're the video quality isn't crappy and choppy and be able to see farther away and this app would deserve to be called binoculars.

I like maps. I think I would prefer a clearer view. The binoculars works best at a distance of about 4 to five feet. It's nice that a camera is included. I found the hybrid/satellite view of the earth by accident on this app. By taping twice on the map you get a closer and closer view. I haven't looked at other binocular apps so I have no comparison to offer. I would say look at it and see if it's anything you need or can use.

Fun!. Fun app. Wish it had more options in the map mode. But it works as well as the camera does.

Not Binoculars. Very disappointed. I rarely purchase apps. Was skeptical and should have followed my gut instinct. This is only another magnifying app that works off the camera setting. Hi Res 12X zoom is jumpy and fuzzy. Can't focus or stay still. For simple text reading in your palm, a free magnifying app works much better too. Save your money and look for something better.

Cool. I love this app. I thought it would not be as good as it is. I have used it often it is just not a gimmick it works!

Blurry view!. The app looks good, but the view is blurry when you zoom, even when I changed it to high resolution. I believe you guys are working to improve the app, or else I'll just consider it a waste of money.

Binoculars. I would give 5 stars except that it does NOT zoom in up to 10x. It only goes up to 5x. Another issue is that when pics are taken, it causes the app to shut down. Please fix!!!!!!! If these problems are corrected then I will give it 5 stars. I like the features such as the map and longitude/latitude, but it is not worth buying until issues are corrected.

Useful. Can't complain. I got the free version. The zoom works good. I like the fact it has a timer before it shoots. Eliminates hand shake. The ap is a little slow opening. But like I said earlier, I got the free version. I'm happy with it.

Zoom. Have not been able to find the photos that it keeps taking! And the closer it zooms in the blurrier it gets! Am very unhappy with this one app

Snapping pix. Won't stop. Camera was pushed once, access to my pix was denied. Then it went crazy and kept snapping pix. Snap Snap SnapSnapSnapSnapSnap dozens of times. It won't stop what should I do ???? Now your email won't send. Thank you for your kind consideration,

Not a fan👎. I went to a concert and was sitting higher up, I thought this app would give me a better view, however I was sadly mistaken. It was so blurry, very disappointed.

Great.. In error I gave this a 2 star review a wrote bad things. My mistake. This is a 5 STAR app. It's zoom is much better than my iPhone 6S plus camera. The photos come out clear even in full zoom. It's well worth the money.

Love this app!. I am loving this app for telephoto shots from my phone. My kids play sports and it's just perfect for catching that awesome shot or video!
