Skipped through. To many adds, the app went from 1st complete day to final test in 1 day

Bought this when it first came out. 6 years ago?? Maybe it was longer but I need this extra motivation again. I have a nerve problem in my hand so I need a coach right now because I haven’t been able to do more than 40 and it’s been a decade since it’s been 40 so idk where to start haha. We will see how it goes but I believe in the app

What I have been looking for. Great app and a guide. It brings out the best in you

Won’t progress past loading screen. This app may be great but since it just freezes at the main screen I will never know.

Recently turned to trash.. One of my favorite apps till a recent update. It seems to crash frequently and reset during workouts.

Push-up ducky. At 52 years of age currently still a police officer and volunteer fire fighter I can do more push ups in a minute then most mid 30’s guys or girls. I’ve shortened my time and spread arms out further to create a more intense chest work out. Feel the burn. Awesome.

Solid app!. Been using this for almost a decade. It’s simple and gets the job done. It holds me accountable and gives me decent rest when I need it. Nothing like having an app that just does what it needs to.

Great. It's a good app and it helps push me to actually do the exercise. It's nice to be able to see your progress from when you started to how many push-ups you are doing now. I would add that it would be good if you could change the amount of push-ups you did in case you did more and see that reflected in the chart.

App won’t progress past intro screen. This is on an iPhone 12 with iOS up to date. It freezes at the intro screen and never progressed beyond that point.

Waaaaaay too many ads. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE ON THIS APP. Dont get this app. I gave them two stars becasue at least they developed one. Like many apps, it has multiple ads that run EVERY TIME you open it. It pushes you towards the premium paid app as well. I get it, you have to pay for the app development. But this one has entirely too many ads and you can hardly use the app as a result. I deleted and found another one.

Not good for beginners. Starts out with 50 pushups to do on day 1? Not realistic for beginners

Needs more instructions. No good instructions on how to use the app. There should be a quick video imbedded in the app to “show” people what to do.

Frustrating, but not terrible. This is not the best designed app by a long way. It’s visually unappealing, and far from intuitive. There is still a bug after 5 months when trying to set your own sets. Worse still is the voice! It’s awful! Not just the computer generation, but it’s totally distorted. And if I turn it off, I lose my timer for the rest period. BUT… what it does have is the customisability. I guess the good reviews from everyone else show that I’m alone in being frustrated. I only tried this app, because my old favourite app has now been updated to make it no longer a favourite!

iOS 15. App not working with iOS 15, will not load

Great app!. I just started but do far I am highly pleased with the act. It's difficult but is just the challenge I need. It can also be personalized to the user's ability. It lets be listen to my radio/ pandora and even gives me reminders to do my push ups ( I am a highly forgetful person so this is very helpful) this app is great and, what's best, it's free! If you are worried about your ability to do it, don't. I am a sixteen year old girl who has no upper body strength including extremely weak arms. My gym coach actually suggested this app to me because I couldn't do any push ups.

Hmm. Cons - the time on the app watch doesn't give an notification when is time to rest or continue (So put watch in no sleep mode). Sometimes it doesn't record what you did in the journal even if the watch tells you finished. Pros - you get the work out, good starting point Tips - instead of time how about you only time the rest and just have a button to press when you finish each set.

PE teacher. I am a PE teacher who has started this app months ago. I started with week 2 and followed the workouts 3x a week (never skipped a day). I have completed all 6 weeks but I have to pause the app in between rest breaks to finish the workouts. Today, I repeat week 6 weekly to continue the workout. My girlfriend has noticed a difference in my chest and triceps. This is a great at home exercise to do.

It works. Gets difficult on week 6, but I can do more push-ups at 41 years old. than I ever could. Can do more than my 18 year old son who is a high school wrestler in top shape, even though he won't admit I can. This app is the best way for guys to start a fitness program!

Absolutely Fantastic. I've only had this for a week and I am already seeing amazing results. I have used this everyday and I have gone from having to practically prepare myself mentally to do just 10, to being able to drop down and pump out 30 and not even have to think about it. Not to mention that the alarms and subtle intensity increase helps keep me doing them every day. I'd strongly recommend this to anyone looking to improve their health. Can't wait to see what the next five weeks bring. (For those of you who wonder how to use this each day and not drastically increase what you have to do, simply bump up your workout every other day, example: I did week 2, day one today, I'll do it agin tomorrow, then the day after tomorrow I'll do week 2, day 2)

Good motivator. For someone with very poor upper body strength, I have found this app useful. I'm only about halfway through the program and have had to repeat a few sets because I wasn't ready to step up a level but I'm definitely improving. I think it would be better if there was a metronome beep to accompany the push up intervals.

Not bad. I'm half way thru (3rd week), so far so good. Only issue is the reminder doesn't always work when it's suppose to...

Great app. Very good....however probably designed for men....as a woman it is taking longer for the muscles to build up so I am having to repeat sessions before moving up to the next level

I think there are some steps that are very large leaps compared to others. I.e. it can be easy to get stuck in some levels since the next level is much harder. Recommended!

a little guidance maybe?. Great app, but there's nothing to say how to use it. I just went straight to using the 'tutorials' for standard push ups but then, each week's set has only 3 days worth - what does this mean? Do each day twice for each week? Or do a day set every other day? I started week 1 day one for one day, week 1 day 2 the following day, week 1 day 3 the next and so on. I struggle on the last set for week 4 day 2, do I keep doing it until no longer shakey? There's no doubt it's helping me reach my goal (which is why I'm giving 4 vice 3 stars) it just needs some direction on how to make the best use of this app.

Great app. Very useful

Pushes me to work harder!. This app has helped me to gain a lot of upper body strength. It was really hard at first but soon I started noticing that I could get through the sets a little easier, even though the reps are going up. I'm still doing incline push-ups but once I can complete the whole challenge doing incline, I'll change to regular and do it all again. You choose your difficulty level to help prevent feelings of failure. If I can do it, you can too! Good Luck! :)

Easy!!!!. So easy to use! Once you do your initial test it sets up a programme for you. All you have to do is turn it on and do the number of push-ups and reps it tells you! It will even count down you rest time!! Love get'n huge!!

3 workouts per week. If you do not use the reminder - it is three workouts per week, if you do push-ups every day make sure you repeat each workout twice.

This is the push-up app you've been looking for. It's got everything you want. I don't even know what the pro version could have that this Doesn't. The progression is fierce but take your time, you'll get there.

Good up to a point. I love that it gives you a schedule of sets to do, and you can set reminders. It's nice that there are many different kinds of push-up described, but then the app doesn't relate them to the programme! Lets say I can only do a few push-ups on my knees, or inclined. How do I work up to more difficult ones? Do I do the whole programme on my knees and then start again once I reach 100 of that type? Do I mix them up? It gives no indication. I've been doing the programme with "standard" push-ups. I'm just starting, and I got stuck on day 3 of week one. I can do all but the final set—which I have to break up. Is it okay that I stop and rest as long as I finish them? Should I switch to inclined or knee push-ups to finish? It doesn't say. I've decided to keep doing day 3 until I can do it right. Is that the right way to go about it? It doesn't say. If I pause for a rest in the middle of my final set, but ultimately do them all, should I move on? I guess it's good that you can change the reps manually, but I would prefer it if you could just turn the whole difficulty up or down. If I reduce one set of reps, shouldn't that affect the rest of the programme? I don't want to have to change the numbers for 5 sets x 18 days. I got the app to make things simple, so I really want an app that knows more than I do and will just boss me around like a trainer. I was really looking for an app that was like Couch to 5K—one that acted as a coach and took the guesswork away. I see this getting there. I hope it will. Also, tell me why I should pay to upgrade! Because I will if there's a reason! But I won't if you won't tell me why! Also, the voice is a little weird.

Good app. It's a decent app, it motivates you to keep doing your push-ups, especially if your going to have a competition with your brother I friend. Though it is a good app, there are some flaws, such as the voice sounding terrible, and for some people, it might start you off with way to many push-ups, and increase to fast each day. Other than that it's a decent app.

Fantastic!. I got the app after my gym membership expired just to get a break before I renewed. I followed this program and another push up app at the same time. This program is great! At the end of the program my chest toned out and gained mass quite a bit. Wouldn't recommend this for beginners, it builds up a little fast.

Used in prep for APFT. Hi. I'm in the military and had a physical fitness test coming up. I used this app about 2 months before the test. I went from doing 40 push ups in 2 minutes to 61. I am a female and had quite a few males come ask me after the test what did I do to get ready. I have passed this app along to many people already and continue to use it myself.

Great app. I was able to master my push ups ability by using this app. At first thought it would be something I'd use from time to time. But with the reminders I use it regularly plus it only takes up a few minutes of the scheduled days.. Great app!'

Magnificent. This app makes me want to do push-ups. There is room for so much more content. Please add additional workouts into this app, and make the larger set first. It's really difficult to do a lot of push-ups for round 5. Besides that, this app is brilliant, and it is great for anyone looking to include push-ups into his or her workout.

Great App! Does exactly as it says.. I recommend this app to anyone wanting to complete 100 pushups. Only change I made to complete the 100 pushups is do each exercise twice so it takes twice as long to reach your goal.

On my way. In all honesty, this is one of the best fitness apps ever thought of. I have been surprised repeatedly by how many push-ups I've been able to do and have seen a visible difference in my arms and chest. Looking forward to hitting that 100!

Good Progression. I'm just starting out (only been doing push-ups for a few weeks), and this app is good. Like some other reviewers, when I think I need to build strength, I'll simply repeat a day rather than move on to the next day. This is helpful.

Definitely Works. As an older person, I can attest that with our busy lives, our health takes a back seat. I decided to download the free version and while I am only on week two of the program, I can already see benefits of strength training. It is never too late folks. It doesn't take much time for each workout and you can tailor it so that you don't get discouraged. Do a previous days workout if you are struggling with keeping up. Bottom line is...JUST START IT OR SOMETHING!!!

Push Up. Must have app I just tried this app right now and I all ready feel it working after my first set by the end of my training I will be able to do 100 push ups non stop!!!

Great app. Simple and effective. Helps me keep good track of when I need to workout with reminders and gives me a schedule after a minute of programming your profile. Hopefully in 6 weeks I can pass the 100 push-ups test!

Reaching for 100. Always been a long time goal to be able to reach a 100 conservative push-ups no matter what I did on my own I always fell short until now with a program to follow and my progress at my fingertips

Great app. This app is amazing. I have been using it for about 2 weeks. That's about 7 days of workouts. I can already feel myself getting bigger. My triceps and chest look bigger. I feel great and can do about 20 more push-ups than I initially could. Definitely get into this app. Love it.

100 push-ups. I could do 100 push-ups in a couple or few sets but this is great it also tells others I'm great whenever I finish a workout. Not too hard to avoid.... I got away from it though I have used recently.

Great App. This is a great app. Ive been back doing pushups for awhile now so I was able to start at week 5 I had just purchased the book of the same name but using the app makes everything stay easily recorded and organized. My daughter is doing the same and actually started with the beginner steps. She says she can see results and feel like she is getting stronger. She is 20 and I am 48 and it works for both equally well.

It's okay, but could be better. It has a glitch that won't all you to change the skip through the music while in the app. Also, it is a little unclear. I know you have 60s to do the allotted numbers of push-ups, but it just seems like too much time for cool down and the push-ups and cool down.

It works!. I like the push reminders, ability to listen to your music, warmup & cooldown phases (and ability to skip them), and general interface. While week 1 was easy, I am finding week 2 to be difficult, and I wish there was the ability to adjust the difficulty.

Just wish it had a too hard or too easy button. I've been using the app for 2 weeks now. I like it a lot but the first days were a little too easy and now they are getting too hard. I wish they would adjust the number of pushups you do the next day based on how you did the previous day...

Great App. This app is a great way to work towards 100 consecutive push ups! The amounts that the sets increase from day to day is fairly aggressive so you may find yourself doing a day more than once but it will definitely get you to 100 if you keep working at it!

An okay app. It's a standard app that works. I am following the 100 push-ups challenge. I don't like that the numbers I'm supposed to use didn't update when I put in my starting number, but I do like that I can manually update them. I like that it reminds me to take a break between sets.

Perfect. This app is perfect for people wanting to increase upper body strength! You can listen too you i pod and do pushups at the same time! It tells you when to start and counts down for your rest time! I recommend this highly!

Results!. Pushups work, and this is a great program for motivating you to do them. I tested into week 3, saw immediate results, but by week 5 I wasn't able to complete the reps in the time allowed while keeping good form. So if anything the app is too challenging, but that's good...I just redo the workout until I can keep up. Keep with it!

Simple, but effective. Personally reached a hundred. Great system, do not hesitate to start on the day one. It basically creates a certain space in your triceps in order to sequentially increase the quantity of your push ups and eventually achieve desired 100. Everything you might need from the course included in such a little app, cheers to the developer!

Really nice app!. I think this app is wonderfully made. It allows you to make profiles for multiple people, keeps track of progress (amount of push-ups done and calories you have burned), and looks great overall. It's nice to have it there to help remind me to get off the couch at the end of the day.

Works for me. I'm in week 4 and am pleased with the progress so far. When I started I couldn't imagine being able to get here. The gradual increases work for me. Just what I needed to motivate me to actually try it. One small bug, if you use the app earlier in the day, the alarm still goes off to remind you at the designated time. Id prefer if it was smart enough to know that I already had used it today.

Great. Non intrusive ads, good reminder, and looking at your progress is fun. It doesn't explicitly mention this, but I figure you should use it 3 times a week (for your body to rest, and because each week has 3 days in the program). Good app, keeps you on he ball.

Great motivator. I use this app on and off for about a year now. Great motivator, I try to use it every day. I like the reminders, they are not annoying, just once. I started from the very beginning and feel I'm making progress. Thank you.

Slightly above average Joe (seriously). I work out with some consistency, am not a body builder by any means, just like simple things to keep in shape and perhaps a little challenge. I was able to keep up with the schedule (complete each set, no rest within set) up to about week 4. Then by the end of week 5 I was having to pause the timer in order to complete the set without going on to the "rest" time. By week 7 (final week) I was having to pause the timer by the third set. For me, the schedule was too difficult to achieve as written. I haven't tested the "100" reps yet, but I imagine I'll have to repeat week 7 possibly a couple times first. Overall though, I'd still recommend this app, just be patient and considerate for yourself, because you may not finish in the time stated.

This would get a higher rating if the tracking was better.. Also, if you could edit what you actually did after you start. I do as many push-ups as I am able. Sometimes that is more or less than what I estimate when I'm creating the sets. But you can't edit. So I do the push-ups, then fill in what I did. Then I start the timers for the sets after they are complete. Additionally, sometimes I do several sets in one day. But the set names will suggest it is different days. There should be more ability to edit, more explanations, and the graphs leave much to be desired. Too simple and clumsy with little data and no accounting for time. Also, this is geared to men. Women (even those of us who are very fit) do not build tricep strength as quickly since we have different musculature. Thanks.

Pleased with the results. The only things I dislike about this app is the brown color and when the workout starts it should say how many you have to do instead of just saying "push-ups" but I'm on week 3 day 2 doing twice as many as I started put doing. Pleased

Help section needs serious HELP. Maybe I'm a grammar snob, but I get a headache trying to read the instructions. They are very poorly written, but also just difficult to follow. Do the instructions in the free version refer to features in the full version or something? No offense intended to the obviously very skilled programmers, but the instructions desperately need to be proof read and tested by a newbie before being put up like that in a public release. What the user reads is just as important as the language in which the program is written.

Could have progressed more before the 100 test. Before the "Final Test" of one set of one hundred push ups you do 5 sets.. I think it would've been easier for the user of the app to do 2 big sets before the "final test" but besides that it was an awesome app! You can play your music it has a warm up and cool down.

Exactly what you are looking for!. Started with only being able to complete 18 push ups now that is less than a warm up set for me! If you are motivated then this app is for you, if you can't handle the intensity of 3-5 times a week go ahead and stay on the couch.

Well Put Together!. At first I thought that this was another gimmic to try to get my to purchase the full version, but as I am on the beginning of the third week starting on Sunday, I can already feel the results in both my chest, biceps, upper back, and parts of my core. So far I feel that this app is a success, and I will update when I completely finish my workout, by then I hope to be able to do 100 consecutive pushups, as with what others have said I do feel it moves a little quick, but I also feel it's a good thing and calls for a quicker intense workout! Hmm, so far it does what it said. Seems to be quite a few little errors. How do you fail in grammar and spelling, surely this app wasn't made by a room full of meat heads! Right? The app is to the point, but maybe moves a little too fast. If I were to be able to customize my intensity by way of a slider, five stars - would purchase for sure. With a legit polish and customized intensity adjustable as you proceed, this app would be a mega winner!

Outstanding with a few comments. This is great as I follow it to the letter. But maybe it's just me and being 40 something, I find it a bit challenging to bust out tons of reps on sets 4 and 5. I would think by set 4 you would be doing less reps than set 3 etc. Regardless I feel like a million bucks. Thanks!!

Easy to use.. Easy and effective way to increase your strength and endurance. This app is all you need to improve your push-up quantity. It also tracks your progress and allows you to play music.

Customizability makes this app AWESOME. I keep customizing this to meet & push my progress - been enjoying this for 9 months - started at 30 push-ups and am now way beyond 100 push-ups!! Annoying that the app keeps asking for a review!!!

Bro! Do you even lift?. With app you wont have to. I started using this app a few weeks ago, and already I have seen resuts. I work in a walnut processing plant and recently received a raise because it has boosted my productivity. I can grab walnuts by the handful and crush them between my pectoral muscles. I have watched coworkers fail and get terminated as they tried unsuccessfully to match my nut crunching production. Don't delay get your moobs ASAP

Great App. This app helped me reach my push-ups goal that I needed to reach for my ROTC Fitness Test. Although some of the workouts are a little extreme for even the strongest guys, this definitely helped me to get where I wanted to be with my upper body endurance when it comes to doing large sets of push-ups. It's a free app, so why wouldn't you try it? Download this app ASAP if you want to increase your push-up ability! Worked for me!

Very solid app. The app is free and gets to the point. Keeps you motivated and on track at a good pace! It only takes a short amount of time to see results from your hard work. Definitely recommend.

Best app ever!. I have had pain in my shoulder for a long time and if I tried to do push ups, I felt like if I didn't do sets of 25, I was wasting my time. I would do them and have to deal with the pain. I started with this app thinking the beginning was too slow, but I looked ahead and weeks 5 and 6 looked tough. Stuck with it every day and I have had amazing results.

Can't do partial workouts.... I like the straightforwardness of this app, but unlike the other push-ups app, I don't believe you can edit how many reps you did at the end. You're either stuck with the full set (which leaves me feeling like a cheater), or you have to restart the entire workout the next time you actually complete all the sets (leaving me feeling cheated). I just want an accurate representation of my progress.

An excellent structured workout plan!. This app has three levels to choose from in the settings - beginner, intermediate, and advance. Although you can't change the number of reps in each set, selecting between the three levels aids in meeting your current physical abilities. I found this app to function efficiently and effectively, and the structure of the app with its reps/sets and timers was exactly what I had been looking to implement. I would also recommend the sit-ups app, pull-ups app, and the squats app!

Try this app!!!!!. I am a 215lbs 22 year old guy, I kinda just let myself go after awhile, I felt that I needed to get into better shape so I downloaded this app and if you follow the plan, you will be amazed at how you feel and look in the end, I'm an average joe and couldn't do more than 15 push-ups in my life, in 4 weeks of a simple workout routine with this app I am now at 190lbs and can do 75 push-ups, I feel great!

Does what it's supposed to. I made it to week 5 before I got a weird hand injury and had to take a break. This is AWESOME because it acts as a coach and forces you to do way more than you thought you could. Having biceps and triceps is pretty cool. Workouts are reasonably staggered, you can look at total pushups for that day (ego boost :) and it lets you listen to music, gives you breaks for warmup etc. it's free so go for it!! Only thing is interface is not that nice and it feels "homemade." but hey it works

Review of App, not Program. This app works okay, however some of the nicer features don't seem to work. The media player controls don't work. Also, the journal does not update correctly when entering manual workout data, for example if you were only able to do 25 reps instead of 30. Nice concept but not polished. Keeps me motivated, which is the point. The program moves forward much too aggressively in my opinion.

It's still to MF'n set!. Bring your discipline and reach your goal thu a good program. Downloaded Abs and Squats too and others are seeing my results. Take notes after each day and track your progress if you don't complete a workout. The 3 combined are effective full body basics. And the reminders are helpful. Do Work!

It worked for me. I've heard about this program before. Never got around to it. I'm a powerlifter, so we mostly train up for one huge lift in whatever category. So I'm not used to doing body weight exercises that much. But I'm also in the military and need to be able to do a bunch of push-ups. So I got this app and following it closely, I've already noticed I can do more push-ups more easily, and I'm only a week in. I'm still powerlifting too. I look forward to seeing more progress.

WIN. It feels good to accomplish. When you set out after a goal, decide to WIN. No excuses! "Earth downs" are no different. 100 push-ups is possible if you decide to do it. This app works just like every other environment you step into in life. It won't do the "earth down" for you but it will keep you accountable. If you plan to 'try it' don't even start. As my wise friend Yoda says, "do...or do not! There is no try!"

Great push-up Coach. Tried other programs to reach 100 push-ups. Not there yet, but this app has a good program and a reasonable timeframe. Interface's voice is jarring but everything else is a joy to work with.
