It has been a great way to track my budget and expenses through the month. I tried several apps for this purpose and this app was the fastest for me to get started on. I strongly recommend it!

Really helpful!. Easy to setup and use. Great app for keeping track of spending. Only one thing needs fixing-when you add categories, you can't move them in the list. So the category you use the most, add last, then it will be on the top of the list.

Just what I was looking for. So far this app is just what I was looking for. I just use it for the budget part I didn't put in any income info, but the budgets work perfectly for what I need. I was looking for a good easy to us app with roll over and this app is working out great so far. Love that you can transfer from budgets to other budgets if needed!

Gets the job done. I LOVE that this app allows me to change the deadline for each budget - I have my rent on a monthly budget, groceries on a weekly budget, and transportation costs on a biweekly budget. Also, I can set each budget to roll over to the next month, so if I over- or under-spend, it's reflected in the next budget cycle.

Super Good!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I've tried Fudget, Goodbudget and Mint and they may be all good and stuff because I've downloaded them thinking their high ratings would meet my expectations, but no they did not. Best Budget is very simplified and it's mainly for my mom, she's old and I needed a budget app for making things SIMPLE and as far as simplicity goes, this is the app for her. She can now manage well here balances, income and expenses very well. This app is amazing if you're looking for simplicit, then this app is especially for that. Another good thing about this app is it doesn't ask you for an account (sign in) or (sign up). I hate doing those things, too many passwords and stuff. I just love how simple this app is. Five stars always🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Seriously really good. I consider myself pretty tech savvy, but for some reason I had the hardest time trying to figure out how to work the other apps. I wanted an app that managed my income and well as expense. I also wanted an app that you can add every expense into the category that you select. This app is really easy to use and functions really well. I would definitely recommend.

Great Budgeting App. It allows you to keep track of the money you spend easily, so that you can see what you've spent vs what you have made in income. I also like that the information is shown on various graphs, so it's a great visual budget app as well. Best part is that you don't have to link your bank account!

I like some things. I live some things about this app. Specifically the green bar that shows how much time I have left in my current budget cycle. What I don't like is that once I put in say 1000 a month for income then all of my transactions have to be entered under income even though they are expenses. It just doesn't make sense in my mind. However, I like the green timeline bar so much that I live with it.

good but needs categories. A straight forward interface and feature set. not complicated. however the app needs to implement a grouping or category function so that similar transactions can be viewed together and tallied.

LOVE this app!!!. I searched through a ton of budget apps before finally deciding to give this one a try. I'm so glad I did! It is amazingly easy to use. I just set up my separate budget categories, then when I'm out shopping I enter the total in the appropriate category. It show me at a quick glance how much I have left, how much I've spent, and how much I started with in each category. This is already saving me big $$$ on overdraft fees, since I loathe using a checkbook and couldn't keep track of my spending needs!!

To many adds. I loved this app years ago when it was basic and simple. Now it has to many adds!

Perfect for using categories. Perfect for using categories instead of a lump sum of all income v. All expense. Can rollover funds from month to month and can transfer funds between categories as needed. No need to link to actual accounts.

Took a while. The app is great, although it is a little confusing when you are trying to get adjusted to having everything under "expenses "when clearly you would like to call you account something like bank and then see the expenses debit from the account called "bank". IJS but overall once you adapt to the setup of the app, it's useful:)

How to retrieve a budget back!. My budget for previous month is missing all of a sudden! Why is it deleted and how to retrieve it back!! Pls assist!

A great little keeping track app. I have been searching for a good app to keep track of my spending in certain categories and have tried many many apps. This one was by far the easiest to use and the best layout for what I wanted. It doesn't have everything I wanted as I can't put in a starting dollar amount, but it came closer than the rest.

Seems easy, confusing though. Seemed easy to set up, but when I started tracking my budget, rather than reducing the remaining balance in a monthly budget, transferring from my account added funds to each budget? How am I supposed to use this to track my monthly expenditures and stay on a budget. If I wanted to manually do all the math to make sure I was stayin in budget, I wouldn't get an app for it. It would be easy enough to do that using the notepad on my phone... Any help here?

Simple. Easy to use. Exactly what I wanted.. Love the app for 'tracking expenses'. No bells, whistles, or confusion. Wish it could link to family members tho.

Annoying ads. The ads are ruining this app. There's a new one that plays loudly after I've entered the app, while I'm trying to input information. The noise continues in the background and there is no way to stop it other than by closing the app.

Great !. I download 3 budget apps before I found this one. I love it ! I have just had it for a few days. Simple to use. I like it because displays each category and what you spend in each but shows what amount you have budgeted to each category. So if in store and you can look to see if purchase puts you over budget or not.

Just what I needed. I was looking for an app that allowed me to see my monthly budget by category and money spent in each category in one step. This is it. I don't use the income side as I prefer to keep track of outgoing money. Perfect and easy.

Really great. I love to spend money, but this app helps me feel more organized and not want to spend money on practically useless things. I set up money goals on things I need like pet expenses, collage, birthdays, having some fun, and how much I need to save for a laptop I want. I feel like I can save money with this app- something I'm not to great at.

I like it. I've tried a LOT of other apps, I found this one simple to use and it has all the items I need to keep track of my income and expenses. I'll be downloading the paid version this week.

Easy to Use. I was looking for an app to be easy to use and just be an immediate reminder of where I am on my monthly spending for all the different categories. Has an ad ribbon on the bottom (reason for being free) but it's not annoying or in the way. This is a great app!

Excellent app! Exactly what I need!. Not too simple, not too complicated. My favorite features are the recurring and roll over options for each budget. That way I don't have to keep entering new information, just transactions.

Helpful tool. This app is very user friendly. I use it every day and love how easy it is to add budget categories or tweak categories as I grow in making budgeting work for our family. There are ads at the bottom of the app,but they never pop up or get in the way, so don't let that keep you from using this app.

Good app,but can improve. I love the app and the ease of use. I also like that it shows you a time frame to show if you need to slow down your spending for the month. The thing I would like to see is I have it set as a monthly budget; however, it shows the total expenses for the year for things such as insurance. It would be nice to see how much you have left for the month ( income less expenses) and only show 1/12 of the expense for a year or a fraction of the expense over longer periods.

My favorite budgeting app. Awesome app, I love that I can track my expenditures and income right away and it is time stamped. You can even set budgets for different timeframes. I hate tracking, but having this app has really helped control my budget

It's pretty much what I was looking for. I needed a simple tracker just for my household shopping expenses, food, clothing and day to day staples. This free version is perfect for what I need. That said, I only wish it had a database that would auto fill the few stores that I frequently shop rather than my having to type them in each time.

Great vacation budget tool. We used this app for our cash only Caribbean vacation and this kept us on track so we didn't overspend. The transfer from one budget account to another was awesome! Highly recommend.

Awesome app. I'm pretty new to the app, but so far I think the name says it all this is one of the best budget apps and I have found not only does it keep track of all your expenses that you put in you can also set up that budget which is great for keeping finances in order.

Simple budget.. No required categories!!

Great App!. I tried about 10 budget before deciding that this one fit my needs the best. I really like that you can rollover leftover money from one month to another and that you can set up reoccurring expenses too. There are some are reporting capabilities and income options as well, but I don't use that part of the program.

A REAL free money management app. Thank you for making a simple comprehensive budgeting app that doesn't force you to upgrade to get any real help. I have been looking for an app like this that lets you set budgets for unlimited items as well as input your transactions to keep track of your spending. This does everything and it's truly FREE!

Good for tracking budget in several categories. I like that you can create a budget per category and track the expenses per category to make sure you stick to the plan. Other apps I've tried in the past dont let me track expenses vs budget per category and just give me a total of income vs expenses.

Loved it but free version is limited. I loved this app to track expenditures, until I hit 100 transactions and it wouldn't let me enter any more. The free version is limited to 100 transactions total (not per month), so if you like it you will need to upgrade to the $0.99 version.

Good idea but not easy to use and inaccurate. When I put in my budget and I go to add a transaction from that budget it adds to the transaction even though I marked it as an expense. It removes from the budget when I add a transaction as income. That completely does not make sense and I've been sitting here messing with it for almost an hour trying to make sure that I wasn't doing something wrong. I am positive I know the difference between income and expense and this app has it flip-flopped in the way it shows where and how money is being spent and how much u have left. Very frustrated I spent this much time on it.

Great, small bugs. Been using Best Budget Free for about a month. It's simple to set up, easy to enter transactions & the reports are great. The only small bug that I've found is in changing the date in categories. If I try to change the date after the category is initially saved, it freezes. I have to delete & recreate the category. Only a problem when first setting categories up, so not really a big deal. Other than that, it's been great so far 👍

Find another app. This started off as enjoyable and easy to use. However the longer you have the app the more ads and pop ups (yes pop ups) start interfering with using the app. It gets to the point that upon initially opening the app, it goes straight to an add before you can even view your account

Great app!!. I love this app. I have a small shopping problem and have been abusing my debit card to an excessive amount. I recently decided that I needed to figure out where all of my money was going, so I threw out the debit card and have been using cash. This app has helped me see just how much I have been spending on gas, groceries, house items and clothes.

Great tool and it's free!. I love this app! It's great for keeping a shopaholic like myself, on track. I have three budgets list and you can make as many list as you want. One is a daily budget, one is for monthly budget and one is for cash money. Sure you can just look at your bank account but this is fast, convenient and easier to figure out. I love it!

Good and simple. It's very simple but to the point. You just fill out the buckets and make entries for each purchase or deposit, and it tells you how much you have left in each bucket for the month. It's the only budget I've ever kept up with

Horrible. It was on its way to being 5 stars. I hate to be the only negative review, but this app has some serious flaws. First, I was about to input an entry and then the "review nag" popped up while I was putting in an amount. I couldn't navigate the screen, so I deleted the app and tried again (from scratch). The second time, I was trying to set up a weekly budget and start recording previous income. I had trouble there... Then the app went to white. So, the app is gone for good. Maybe ur experience will be better than mine, but I do not recommend this app.

Great app. Great for my needs. Fairly easy to use once you have a good play with it

Affective. It s pretty good still tryin to get the hang of it but out of all the others I have tried it is the best. Simple and straight to the point.

Monthly payment possible improvement. Ok but needs to be able to track monthly payments to mirror bank debits, or take into consideration week days and weekends.

Reporting Issues. Does not calculate properly in reporting when you enter your salary as weekly and displays it in monthly. Terrible app. Misinterpretation of data

Needs some work. This app is a great way to break down your expenses and compare to income. Also good to monitor spending. But it can be a little hard to work out what all the data it shows you means. Would be helpful to have a 'How To' or tutorial in setting up and using this app.

Mr. I've managed to sort of work it out, but some things make no sense, like adding 200 income to a savings account with 400 in it and having a 200 balance left instead of 600

Perfect budget app. So much better than all the rest of the free apps, simply allows you to create budget plans of different categories and timelines with easy expense allocations - highly recommend over others!

Do not buy this app on your phone. If you get this app on your phone, when you sync with your computer all of the information will be deleted.

Hard to understand. Tried for 5 seconds and didn't like it. After looked at screenshots, why is expenditure category named budget???

Unfriendly, hard to use. There’s no explanations on how to make budgets work ... I put my income and expenses in to it and it told me I had a huge surplus that I don’t have and no explanation on how to sort it out... I looked a few times, waited for the budget dates I set to roll over, still no idea how to get it to reflect the actual amount of money I have left over after all bills are paid... gave up and deleted it.

Advert sick. New app has lost focus. It is now an advert app instead of a budget app.

Budget tracking. I downloaded this to track my savings for my holiday as well as my expense budget. Im very happy with how easy it is to use. At this stage i haven't gone on my holiday yet but will report back how the tool handles it although I'm not expecting any surprises

GR8 bill management. Only manages bills but does so brilliantly! Have tried a number of times to consolidate multiple financial management apps (like billminder) into one however even though other all singing, all dancing apps claim they manage bills (and they do) haven't found one, paid or free, with the flexibility and features of billminder. Hands down, the best a what it does. Bravo

Excellent for counting down. Tracking all my expenses- weekly groceries, yearly clothing budget. Gives a good summary of you how much you have spent and how much left to spend for each item... As long as you remember to enter all your expenses!

Very cool app... Sort of like a digital envelope budgeting system.

Misrepresentation. BEWARE: The free version of this app is not a free version, it’s a “TRIAL VERSION”. The app restricts you to 100 transactions and will not allow you to enter any further transactions beyond this point. And given that this is all the app is intended for, this essentially renders it useless until you pay for the upgraded version. Worse still, by the time you are in this position you already have a couple of weeks of history so you are essentially locked into paying for the upgrade or losing your history. Apple should force these guys to clearly label this as a trial version only.

So far so good.. This app has motivated me to take hold of the family's budget with 2 hands and realise our dream of our own home sooner.

Pretty good. Takes a while to work out the differences in accounts, and isn't documented in the help, as sometimes an expense adds rather than subtracts which is weird until you suss it out. It looks good and the email reports are excellent. Deffo one of the better ones.

Ms. Seems ok so far like that it has yearly & monthly but only just got it so not sure yet when the 'rate it' msg came up & I can't continue till I rate it!!

Basic, but a keeper.. I like it. It definitely is a very basic budget app, but, it does exactly what I need. It would be better to see some upgrades done to it, and maybe some more customisation, but all in all, it's good enough, for a very basic budge app.

Works great. It's simple. It does a budget that rolls over weekly so it shows surpluses and deficits. It also allows adding to a budget incase you want to give yourself more money. Also it keeps a full history of weekly transactions and where you were regarding your funds (deficit or surplus). The budget is built easily. You give yourself a weekly allowance and it adds that much every period which is determined by you (weekly monthly daily etc)

Great - simple !. I've downloaded every free app on this topic but this one is the simplest and for that reason it's forever staying on my phone

Like the biweekly option. I like to budget per pay cheque instead of monthly, it was hard to find an app that had that as an option so I was thrilled when I found that. It is easy to set up and adjust budgets. Cannot figure out how to adjust expenses once entered though. Also wish the pie chart showed expense categories.

It helps to control your budget. With a little discipline, entering all your expenses... Help you to keep track of your money and you can actually cap the maximum to spend on certain things... 5 starts

Great. Very great app with all the categories we can create. There is just a total earnings missing. I would really like to see how much I've earned (incomes - expenses). With that, the app would be very close to perfect.

Great help. Great app. Really easy to track my expenses and I enjoy being able to split into different budget categories. Summary helps with reviewing my spending habits and where I can improve. I can even take pics of receipts so I can refer to them in the future without having to store a bunch of paper. Get a lot of features especially considering it is free!

Awesome App!!!. Into second month of using for our entire Household Budget and am very impressed so far. We’ve stayed on budget and have even saved money by using it Happy with the interphase and features, especially the rollover. Would also like to see share ability so husband could add expenses or at least view.

I deleted it. Idiotic lay out No instructions Cannot insert bills And most importantly i cannot just write down my income and expenses to follow up family budget. I need to create a "budget" for any small item and then the program substracts from it.

Simple, convenient and great graphics. I love this app and it would be THE perfect app with a multi-users fonction so all the members of the family could enter theirs expenses on the same budgets on the same account.

Best app I have tried so far !!. The functionality of this app being able to create budgets, add expenses to the budgets, track where you sit with your budgets / expenses is awesome. I have been using for two weeks at this point so time will tell the true story. Only thing I wish I could do is save digital copy for my records. Maybe I can but haven’t figured out how yet.

Great app. I really like how you get to make different budgets for different types of expenses (transportation, food, etc) and see how much remains for each budget and the total remainder. This is the longest budgeting app I’ve ever used

Missing Something. I needed a budget for Real Time use to see my “flexible” expenses on différent item. ( exemple on grocery, resto and party’s, etc) It Works but we can’t add a budget under a budget and because of that, I can have an overview from my stuff including the incomes ... Amazing app! A must have!. Instrumental in organizing the entire financial aspect of my life! It forces me to determine a monthly budget for each category of my life and as I enter an expense, it calculates how much I still have left.

Good app, would be nice if multiple users could use it tho. I've only had the app for a few days now, but so far it seems pretty easy to use. The only thing that's missing that I'd like to see is the ability of multiple users to be able to use the same budget and have them synced together so that couples who aren't always together when they spend money can make entries and it show up in the budget of the other persons too. Otherwise, great app so far!

Really Good app, missing Payment method. This has been the easiest budget app to use by far. The only thing I would love to see is Payment Method when setting up the budget (credit card, cash, PAD, etc) then that could translate into pie charts!

Good. Have been using it for a couple of weeks and so far so good. Much easier to track on the road instead of sitting and catching up at the end of the week or month.

Review. Would prefer full edit like changing dates, see history by day, week, month and year. I like the colours and the graphics used. Maybe after some improvement it can be rated a 5*.

Awesome!. Great great budget app. No envelopes ad confusing BS, just a great budgeting app. Allows you to essentially plan for how much income and expense you expect. Then you add transactions to each category for the actual amounts that come in.

Works great. This app allows me to budget and see my expenses pretty easily. It's also easy to input new expenses into it so I'm not on my phone for 2 hours trying to type in what I just bought.

So far so good. I have been using for a couple weeks and like it. Wish I would have added the names in a different order. Doesn't look like its easy to move them around. I am anxious to see what happens at a new month with the rollover.

Love it. I love that's it's simple and FREE! Just wish it had a estimated pay off date and maybe something that can help you see what monthly payments you should make.

Use for discretionary spending tracking. Able to roll over and track cash. A plus for me. Adding transaction is a bit clunky but works.

Budget App. I looked a long time for a budget app that was easy to use, easy to make changes and kept things very simple. I love this app because it was everything I was looking for!!!

Easy to Use. This app goes great with Checkbook the bank register app. I would suggest both for anyone earning money and using a financial institution.

Great app. It's easier to use than some other apps I have used. The only improvement I would like to see is to have the feature to select major store names from a list.

So so. If have an option to create two separate budgets would be better, or have options to hoof or not join the two budgets would be more awesome.

Great so far, 1wk use. Simple setup and UI, but immense help for tracking my spending of different categories. I love that the data can be exported to email to share with my project partners.

Good app. Could use some tweaking w the interaction of income and expenses. But overall very good. I would also like the ability to have a remainder budget (savings) for end of periods to flow into.

Easy!. This is my go-to budget app! I like that I don't have to link it to any accounts and I can have everything in one place! It resets after my 4 weeks (my time line for my budgets) and I can start fresh!

Works well so far. This app is working great so far. It's straight forward. I wish you could drag the budgets around to change the order of appearance once they are created. As of right now once it's created you can only delete them.

Needs work. App requires many taps and entries to enter simple expense. I am looking for simple app to track my spending cost, the easier it is the more likely I will continue to use. I counted 6 taps and entries in addition to the dollar amount entered. Should be 2 not 6 taps. Not sure if developers actually use app seems like these annoying extra steps would have been removed already.

Budget App. My husband put me on a budget and this app has really helped me stay on track! I have been using this app for two months now and no complaints yet!

Best Budget. This app has been great. I love how organized everything is. My only complaint is that I cannot go back and look at previous months to add late transactions.

Great for budgeting what you spend.. It really helps me see how much I'm spending on food, gas, and stuff of that nature. I haven't found any reason for the income side. I'm just saving what ever I don't use on my budget so maybe it doesn't apply to me.

Good but could be better. The reports are not much user friendly. But good for day to day budget tracking. No annoying ads is also a positive point.

Great cash tracker. Useful way to track your budget progress and how much money you spend in cash. The only thing is that I wish you could put a category at 0.00 or on hold if you don't plan on using it for a specific time period.

Really wanted to like it..... There needs to be a tutorial in the beginning. It is confusing because I don't have a 'budget' yet on how much I want to spend on groceries each month. I need to just monitor to see how much I spend in general on certain categories.

Ok, could be better. I don't like how they list my expense ( money deducted) as income and vice versa. It also could be more fun. It need pizzazz, it also needs a whole section just to manage a savings something separate from the income and expense section. I'm actually going to uninstall it. I just want something to track my money,maybe scan my receipts, encourage me to save and send me alerts when I'm reaching a spending or saving threshold I've created.

Great app. It is a great app. Just encountered a small problem lately. When I tried to add an expense, it does not save the expense after I click save button. Please fix it. Everything else works great so far. Love this app.
