Some data issues. This app hasn’t been updated in a long time and I’ve noticed that the solar data it uses isn’t up-to-date. That causes the calls to be wrong. I’d love to see the developer update the software connection to the data sources. Thanks.

DX Toolbox. Handy propagation display. Lots of useful information and radio applications instantly available at almost anywhere.

Has the info, but rough around the edges.. This really feels like beta software. The interface is bare bones and feels unfinished. In the Setup menu, why do you have to enter your lat/long by hand, when the iPhone can usually figure that out by itself. The purpose of the buttons under the gray line map is unclear. Graphs need titles and legends and descriptions and such. This isn't very useful in its current form. A shame, because I WANT to like it. 😥

Useful & Well Documented. This App is a good iPad tool. It saves me a lot of knob spinning listening for which bands would be good to operate and which locations I might be able to reach. More specifically I can see whether or not to work QRP. I would appreciate a Settings field to optionally display kilometers or miles. Also a Windows App would be very nice. Good job overall.

Not a bad app in the lot.. I'm enjoying the info and was able to enter two locations where I SWL to. I set the watts to max and got a picture of good times to listen. This is with little knowledge of propagation.

Great Sun App!. This is one of the best Sun App that is out there for Apple IOS. Has practically everything to follow the Sun and helps for Ham Radio.

Meh. Contains some handy information, but nothing you can't get from other sources using a web browser. The user interface needs A LOT of work; leaving the program and coming back starts you at the main page again, no access to internal GPS for obtaining coordinates, creating "Custom Locations" rotates your screen whether you want it or not, etc.

Works great.. I use this app quite a bit, mostly to just check space weather, but occasionally for point to point propagation predictions . The only added thing I'd want is something like VOAAREA.

Propagation for Time Calc Crashes. Looks pretty good so far. The Propagation for Time calculation crashes the app hard every time I attempt to use it.

Needs work. The graphs do not show values in the x axis. Location entry for stations do not support a grid square. Did this app make it through testing for iphone 12? I am requesting a refund.

Great app. This app is very useful for planning DX contacts. Interested in reaching a specific geographic location on a specific frequency? You can check to find the optimum time to do so. Are you interested in contacting them NOW? This app helps you determine which band will give you the best results. I’m still learning the app, but it’s already very useful to me.

A Must-have.... The iPad version is extremely useful, especially when mobile Dxing. Love it.

Great for someone learning. I started keying when I was 13 years old I will be 51 this year but I never gotten this serious about amateur radio, my past experiences enabled me to pickup very quickly on this app and I find the propagation map to be extremely accurate for all frequencies, I tested the map trajectory on frequency 27.385 LSB and I got skip from those areas the map predicted, your transmission wattage is also taken to determine proper propagation prediction from app. Get a good SWR Meter to ensure your getting out !!! Great App. This app is great and has really helped me get a tactical edge on my QRP operations. It is my go to app when using my KX3.

Doesn’t work anymore. I can’t get most of it to work anymore. None of the maps work. Only the home page. What gives?

Really bad data presentation. Various graphs claimed in description are useless as the horizontal axes ARE NOT LABELED! The axis is time presumably but without units it is not possible to interpret. Really bad presentation of data. If one was interested in this app as a source of the various solar weather data, it is pointless compared to other apps. Waste of money for that. No opinion on the maps.

The "Go-To" app. It only gets better. If you like something different, ask.

Does not work. Looks like a work in progress, this app is not ready for release, needs serious work. Can I get my money back?

Solar image support. With latest IOS update solar images no longer work or are coincidentally no longer a available. Great app other wise.

2021. Woefully outdated.. Needs an updated. Wonky interface, requiring tapping through rows, unsaved settings, strange UX. Please update.

Almost perfect. This is a wonderful tool at a great price. I’m glad I found this app. To make this app even better, I think there should be an option near each parameter where I can tap for tips and definitions. I’m a newbie at this stuff, and it would be great to get in-app help regarding, say, how to interpret the A index, or whether a solar flux of 70 is good or bad, for example. Also, a dark mode would be fantastic.

Great app for Hams and shortwave monitors. Pretty much everything you need is here.

Handy DX APP. Using a new IPhone 16… The app has a lot of links to solar data. Half of the info links don’t download. If the data does download, it takes a long time. ( cell network connection) The graphs and pictures are small and hard to see on my IPhone. The link labels could be little more informative as to the data origin. Some of the downloaded data pages display about half of the document and will not scroll down to see the remainder of the document. Some graphs’ X and Y axis are not labeled. Some of the data, of course is useful. But, you have to hunt and peck through the copious menu items to determine which menu item will download or provide the common ham operator useful displayed data. Overall, I use it occasionally. However, it’s just as convenient to go to the NASA’s Space Weather website.

Not a good iPhone app. Many displays are too small to be of value; even enlarging does not fit on screen. Grayline Map displays limited bands 20-10 what happened to 40,80? Map cannot be zoomed/enlarged; location between points is difficult to move or see name of location. Clearly this app is really not meant for the iPhone screen size. There are other apps available which provide real information that give the information an amateur needs for propagation in their location or between points. If this app does that, find it.

Promising - but frustrating. Promises to be useful - only it's unstable (crashes repeatedly). I'm using an iPad Air 2 with iOS 10.2. Were it not for the crashes, I'd have rated it 5-Stars - for the comprehensiveness and innovativeness.

Pity about the UI. This is a very useful app with lots of good stuff for radio amateurs. The problem is withe the user interface which is clumsy, ugly, clunky and obscure. That stops a useful app from being very good.

DX toolbox. DX tool box is quite a useful app for anyone who is interested in short wave radio propagation who use HF radio, or Amateur radio. Like other black cat apps it does what Black Cat suggest and it does it well. I have been using it foe over a year now and I would give it five stars. Have fun Helen retired coms manager. Vic Gov.

DX Toolbox. I have the PC and Mac version and while this program gives you the same technical data it takes little advantage of the iPad nor the services available in the iOS (e.g. you have to enter your Lat/Long when iOS can provide that data). It is pretty much a crude port into the iOS environment. It's saving grace is that it has all the propagation data you want to look at while contesting and DXing and the grey line chart, while crude in the context of a graphic, still portrays the data in a useful format. Combine with the iPads compact size, it is a useful addition to shack. Given this is a version 1 product, I hope to see improvements and better integration into the iOS environment. VE5CPU
