Good for those with ambition!. If you really know how to dedicate your mind and do well in your commitments, then this app will assist your needs well. It has many different ways or options for learning vocabulary. I still have yet to explore it fully. I really love this because I simply have an immediate, and potent desire to be able to know all about this language.

Much quicker than Doulingo. Try the free version. For me this is much quicker learning a words or phrases in a new language than doulingo. Simple and effective set up with repetition to make it stick

Perfect for what I need. I’m very happy with this app. I’m an absolute beginner, just trying to do what I can. I like the way it’s set up with daily word packs. The active words section lets me replay what I’ve learned. There’s a lot of features for repetition to read or just listen. Also nice to record myself and compare. Very easy to use. Good price.

Love so much of the design, wish it was more configurable. This app has been my favorite for learning Thai aside from having a personal tutor. The audio + visual teachings is so helpful. My only wish is that it was more configurable. I paid for the premium membership but have hit a roadblock since because it’s not as easy to focus on new vocabulary. It continues to include old vocabulary. I wish there was a way to mark a word as “learned” so that it was excluded from exercises ongoing.

Good. Give you good basic thia skills, premium is a little expensive, for more words.

Pretty great app. I downloaded the free version first and within an hour bought the full version. It's very comprehensive and thorough. There's a bit of a learning curve for the app itself but pretty intuitive once you mess with it a bit. If you want to learn Thai, this is the least painful and expensive way.

First 50 words are free. Its a good basic teacher for basic phrases but not a way to actually learn the language unless you purchase the full app. Plus it seems to primarily focus on pronunciation and I’m looking for how to read

Very impressed. I am using several apps to study Thai. This one is my favorite. I like the way it lets me choose the pace of adding new words and learning about them using several methods. I would love to see a few more configuration options in the future. Such as a way to easily add words I need to focus on to a favorites list for review.

Awesome Language App!. The more I learn about this app, the more I like it. It's simple to use. I love the daily reminders and words of the day. I love that you can change how many words per day. I love that I can practice ALL the words that I've learned. The space recognition is great. If I'm having trouble remembering a phrase, I can mark it red so it will keep prompting me on those and the easy ones show up less frequent. And I LOVE that you can practice the words in the recorder and see how close you are to the correct pronunciation and tone. I don't buy apps but after using the free version for over a month, I went ahead and paid for the full version and I think it is well worth the $9.99! My only improvement would be if they also added the alphabet - consonants and vowels. Then it would be a one stop Thai language course.

Love Thai Version. The different modes of learning is perfect for me. I want to learn the words and the spelling. The options make this easier.

Great learning app. I love this app! It’s the first app I’ve ever bought, and it’s been money well spent. I turn it on for my 20 minute drive to and from work. In just a month I’ve learned so much, and can carry on short conversations with Thai friends, or wait staff at Thai restaurants. Did I say I love this app?

just what i was looking for. i was looking for an app that would say the Thai word show its english spelling an Thai spelling.. has remnders an you can form your own phrases 5 of 5 for me...

Better than most. The exclusion of pictures makes it easier to truly learn new words. Definitely appreciation the option to have it play 8 times so I can study while doing something else, as well as the option to slow down my recording to hear if it matches the provided voice. However, I’m very shocked there was no quiz in the paid version. The app needs more gamification assessments. It is up to me to change the color of a tile to demonstrate my level of confidence with a word. There also needs to an option for more use of the feminine and masculine polite particles.

Awesome apps. I have used several Nemo language apps and they do not disappoint. Greater starter for beginning familiarization of non-native languages. Easy controls, multiple learning options... definitely five stars!

Very useful app. Offers about 100 free words or phrases before costs money. It is quite helpful for learning commonly used phrases

i love it🥺. as a student who was wanting to start learning thai, this helps a lot. i payed for the plus version, for only 12 dollars. it’s a great app and it was definitely worth the money. not to mention all of the phrases and words it had without the plus version. it’s a great app, and i would recommend it to anyone! plus it has a voice so you can hear what it sounds like with the accent! it also spaced out the words, because thai is all one sentence and no spaces, it will space out the words so you can see the words in the sentence, making it easy to learn common words such as “you” or “and”. i 100% recommended this app plus the overall company in general. i love it🥺💕

Great!. I love this app! It has phonetics, pronunciation, and more. I wouldn’t change a thing about this app because I’m doing great in Thai and I’m even talking to my Thai friends in the language. The only thing i was recommend for the developers to add is a Alphabet.

Chowp. This is a great program for learning Thai. The vocabulary gives you everything you need for the basics. The only problem is that once you go through the programmed steps you can't reset it to start again. I am using it to teach my Thai friends English too as it is so easy to use!

Please change back!!!. English is now inaudible in stupid robot voice...at least have option. I bought this app for usable version, not this crap

Great app. Well thought out. I have the attention span of a gnat. I am 72 years young, but have a hard time retaining, this app lets me develop at my own pace and I improved my vocabulary immediately. It has a wide variety of options and can be configured to suit my needs in ways I find to be quite innovative. Best language app I have ever purchased.

Favorite Thai language App!. So far it’s my favorite Thai language app. I started with two other methods and left feeling I would never be capable of learning after each lesson. This app teaches quickly and efficiently. Super grateful!

Wow!. Repetition is the mother of skill and this app provides the best approach to learning through simple and fun repetition . I am fluent in Chinese and Japanese and have tried many study aids , but this is my favorite app I have ever tried for language study and finally feel confident that I can learn Thai !

Extremely Helpful. This app is extremely helpful. I’m only interested in mastering a few important phrases. The app allows me to choose and then organize only the items I’m interested in practicing. I’ve definitely recommended this app to a few other people.

Female perspective only. I wish there was a setting for man/woman learner. In Thai the endings and “I” are different for men/woman. It’s extremely confusing for a man to learn new language when the beginnings and ends are from female speaker. Also you will look like a fool if you didn’t know and learn everything the wrong way.

best free language learning app. this has been the most effective and i had already learned to say 10 words in my first day pf learning thai! i highly recommend for people who want to expand their vocabulary but you shouldn’t rely fully on this app cause if youre a beginner like me use other sources to learn the alphabet

Thai and functionality is superb. I’ve been in Thailand for while and this app is overall best in every respect. All the parameters that are available make the difference, speed, etc. The pronunciations and word syllable descriptions are better than other translators. Confirmed by my Thai wife.

Doesn’t teach Male I (Phom). I noticed they only use Chan which is a mostly female word but neglects to use the Male equivalent Phom. If a guy studies this and didn’t know he might embarrass himself. Otherwise good app to memorize phrases.

Excellent. I have been using this for a few months now to learn Thai before I begin my new job teaching in Thailand. I like that I can hear each word and see it both in Thai writing and phonetic English. Also, I love that I can review as many words as I know, or all in a particular category. I feel I have a good base for my upcoming travels and will continue to enjoy using this app as I travel and teach. Also, when comparing... I tried about 5... this made the most sense and was the most enjoyable by far. My husband has learned way less than me with other methods. Enjoy!

An intuitive way to learn Thai!. This app is so easy to use, and it is set up in a very thoughtful way. The progression of words that enter into the selection helps you learn because they are relative to one another. The words are entered into the selection in a slow progression as well, so you have plenty of time to learn the previous words. I use this app on the go. I listen for the Thai word and I try to guess its English meaning, and vice versa I will see the English word then try to figure out the Thai word, then I check it by clicking the answer button. I am learning pretty fast with the app! Kawp koon mak krap!

The best Thai language app and I have tried them all. The free version was great but I want to head and paid for the full because the design of this app is amazing. I can hit play and the audio of the flashcards will even play in my car. What I try to memorize 10 words it will eventually start adding more. The pronunciation of the voice actor is great. Love it

Great Thai Language Learning Tool. Have been using this for nearly twelve months. I find the software package very flexible in different learning modes, the vocabulary quite good (but now need more words not in the package!), and easy to use. Would like to see better customer support though as questions to the company are not generally answered... at least that has been my experience. Would buy it again though!

Basically get u to a level where u know. Listening and practicing with this ap gets u to a basic proficient level I play while driving the continuous repeating has helped me retain words I would like more short sentences in the next up date but recommend this ap to other non speaking Thai learners

Not a fan.. No explanation of the phonetic tone marks, and they don’t follow other standards. The free version has a 50 words to learn, but only has 15. No explanations of anything, wouldn’t purchase the full version

Great BUT.... Well done guys, great app mechanics, well presented. To know a word is good but repetition in context is needed for learning. Get an education design dude on the team and present consolidation paths and u will have one amazingly effective app. I want to buy add ons but not to learn one word in isolation. Great so far.. Sell me more.

Very functional and easy to use.. I am loving working with this app to brush up on my Thai because I haven’t used Thai language for 15 years. I like the way you can have the app running and practice your words while you are busy doing some other task like driving or cooking dinner. I also like the way you can practice speaking Thai language as well as switching it to practice recognition. There most difficult part of Thai language is getting the tones right and is the option to have the tonal symbols displayed on roman spelling of the Thai words but it would be really good to have some information explaining exactly what these symbols refer to. Ie which one is rising, falling, high, mid, low etc.

Richard Mittra. I started Thai language classes as I visit the country every year to play in a golf tournament and felt it would be a great idea to be armed with a few words to express myself. As it turned out I am enjoying the challenge and wish I could use it every day and not just two hours a week. This app however is a great extension to the class and affords an opportunity to acquaint myself with new words and revise old words. I find a message that says I have finished the pack. What does that mean?

Not for males. Great app if you are female however there is not a function to switch it to the way a male would pronounce sentences. This is important. I have memorized all my phrases as a woman. Rather annoying as I have to rethink every sentence... Contacted support team, have heard nothing back. Found the app to be rather pricey compared to others too.

Purchase full version. I have purchased the full version on my iPad. The same APP on my iPhone is informing me that I have to pay again for the full version. Surely if you purchase once then it applies to all devices?

The Real Deal. If the mark of a good app is the amount of times you use it successfully, then this NEMO app deserves its five stars as it's always by my side from morning to evening. I use it at least 20 times each day - and have done so for about 2 years. The App is well designed with many options and customisations. It has a superb Search dictionary, an automatic advance feature that means you can learn your customised daily list of Thai words and phrases while going about your other activities and having it play in the background. This is a killer advantage as language acquisition is done by repetition. The only small complaint is a navigation issue where you have to go from top of the screen to the bottom ‘Words of the Day’ then up to the top again to return to home; plus the ‘Player’ button should not be @ the end of the word list rather at the beginning.

...but be WARNED!. I paid the full version and later I reinstalled this app. I thought everything was good because it has 'Restore Purchase' ...but NOT true because it does NOT let me. ...it then reads, 'Cannot do from in-App purchase'. I must pay again! Why?

Excellent App!!. I have purchased a few "learn Thai" apps, and this one by far exceeds any I have tried. Offering useful every day words and short sentences. The app is interactive that you can choose what you want to learn, what you want to work on and what words you want to keep handy for future. Instead of getting frustrated, I look forward to using this App.

Used to be five stars. I came back to refresh my key words and the audio is saying a different word than what’s on screen for my favourites. I can’t seem to fix it and I won’t be able to learn more (I’ve learned 24 words) because the audio is saying something different than the word on screen.

Great vocab app. I love how easy this app makes vocabulary, it sort of feels like a game and I like that it doesn’t force you to review what you already know well. You can move at your own pace. I would just say now to rely solely on this, make sure you are supplementing it with learning about structure and grammar and listening to spoken Thai in context. There are some things that you won’t know just by using this app. For example it says aajaan means teacher but khruu means a k-12 teacher and aajaan is more a professor. Just little nuances like that.

Several poor translations. Fakbuaa for instance means faucet not shower. Kruu is the the word for teacher not ajaan, that means professor.

Well thought out, intuitive, helpful. I am a beginner with no Thai language experience. The word map feature is absolutely brilliant. It enables me to cluster words logically for me and to practice them as long as I need to Reach mastery. Also I like being able to record my pronunciation and immediately hear the correct pronunciation. I have downloaded several language apps and this is by far the best for me.

Far better than your average tourist language app. This app is designed to introduce new vocabulary in a very useful and logical order, at the pace you set. I speak English, Spanish, and French, so I've already got good experience with language learning, but I've never attempted anything outside these western languages. This app makes it accessible and easy, and takes the intimidation out of it. Features I love: -You can tap on words in the player as many times as you like to practice and refine pronunciation before moving on. -You can chance the "temperature" of a word (the frequency with which it shows up in the cards.) If I'm not getting a word consistently, I'll turn up the temperature to see it more often. It's the equivalent of sticking that flash card back in the top of the pile. -The pronunciation on the default "average" settings is clear, but you have the ability to speed it up, slow it down, and increase or reduce spaces between words. This lets me practice good pronunciation, but then speed it up to a quicker, more run-on pace, typical of native speakers. -The player is great, but I can also look at vocab in categories, like greetings and conversation starters. -I really enjoy the stats function to see how my practice times compare one day to the next, how many new words I've seen that day, and how many words I've got so far. I've been using this app's player function for the last two weeks in the mornings while I walk my dog. I'm averaging 35-40 minutes a day and I feel so great about my progress in such a short amount of time. This app is just fantastic. I just upgraded to the pay version ($9.99) to have access to an even broader vocabulary and I hope to keep my pace up! Download this app! You won't regret it.
