Frustrating. Can access the web site after successfully logging on

Dismal app. Weak app, try to download for offline reading, nothing happens. Kill the app and retry, it downloads. Try to read the magazine, pages won’t turn. Sigh...

Great App. I really like this app and how interactive it is for the user. Many people give low reviews because it does not link with their actual hard copy. That has nothing to do with how interesting and well done this app is. No complaints at all and always look forward to next copy. If you have an iPad, well worth paying for this once your hard copy subscription expires. Thank you. Ps: only issue with app is it gets buggy when new magazine issues are available but they seem to get it repaired quickly.

Stop the Politics. Get woke, go broke. Been a reader for over a decade…I’m done.

Worthless App. I’ve used this app for several years. Enjoyed the functionality of earlier versions more than the current state. However, the current app does not work at all. The issues will not download, all I have are blank screens.

5-6 minutes free is crap. 1/2 the time is spent finding something worth reading, the other 1/2 of the time is for realizing that this is a terrible magazine, full of bait-and-switch covers and shameful articles about fashion.

Subscription. Have a subscription but app won’t let me read for more than 5 minutes

Fantastic !. Without a doubt the best magazine on Biking - informative, knowledgeable, on time and in time to keep one abreast of the things every bicyclist needs to know or be aware of what’s going on in the sport or industry. Thank you !!

Frustrating, clunky, and basically advertising you pay to view when it works.. Not a great app

How do they mess up such a simple thing?. Login process incredibly confusing for subscribers. Doesn’t seem to show new issues. Other than that, great. That is it can display pages. Yeah.

Confused. Print subscriber for years and excited about the iPad/digital version. New to the app and unaware at this time if I will be charged for downloading an issue. If I'm paying for a subscription and have entered my account info during registration for the app, why am I being asked to confirm if I want to "purchase" the download? I'm I repurchasing what I already own? There should be a different prompt for those who already subscribe that makes it clear that I'm simply downloading an issue and not purchasing it. If print subscribers are not entitled to receive the downloadable version for free, then I missed something, somewhere in the description of this app. Disappointing so far.

Great for a Novice. First, I canceled my paper subscription and got a fair refund. I'm uncertain why Rodale suffers all the negative ratings when all that's needed is information that you can have either (at low subscription rates) or both (at twice the price). Then, I love Bicycling and the Rodale app-based approach to distributing e-zines. These are better that the paper versions in virtually all ways. These aren't merely taking the pages of the magazine and putting electronic versions out there. This is an e-zine designed to be an e-zine. The stories flow down and new articles are either left or right. Their advertisers show do more to provide more e-based content. My brother-in-law rides a lot and shared articles on features I might want in a bike. I found the writing good for me and he likes it as well. (He's a reporter for a major metropolitan newspaper. Hint. Hint,)

App freezes all the time. Can’t read my subscription

My app won’t allow me to see content. All of a sudden, my app stopped working. I reached out to CD 2 times and am still waiting for a response a week later.

Cannot Log In. Despite my subscription I cannot login into the digital version. Customer service/customer support has been useless in trying to remedy this.

Should be great - can't download as current subscriber. From looking at the demo issue this looks like it is going to be really great! As a current subscriber I should be able to get all the issues without having to purchase another subscription, as advertised, however after entering my subscription info and successfully logging in, I was still not able to view any full issues without having to pay for another subscription. As per their FAQ, I called customer support and was told they couldn't help me. I have since emailed customer support in hopes of getting helped by someone with more ability and desire to be helpful. Lots of potential, but disappointing so far.

Good luck if you have problems. I actually enjoy this app. Unfortunately the issue that makes me rate this as garbage is that if you a customer service issue, good luck. For some reason my access to the digital version is not working. Tried to sign in. Nothing. Had password resent. Nope. So I called the customer service number listed on the app. That's where the problems began. They only can solve print problems and not digital. Now all I'm asking for is my access be restored as my print subscription runs well into 2013. But the customer service group is not able to provide any customer service for digital. Tried to call the main office and nobody answers even though the recording says they are there and answering the phones until 5:30 est. So after wasting almost an hour to end up more frustrated than I began. I am going to reconsider my subscription. Great magazine, been a subscriber forever, but not worth it after this experience. I'll read Road Bike Action or Velo News instead.

App. App is frustrating. Should have ordered paper

Great Magazine. I love this magazine I got a 3 year subscription.

Easy to use, but missing some features. Much easier to use than previous e-mags, however, I wish I could bookmark my place so I didn’t have to search for where I left off every time I open the App.

Doesn’t work/no support. The app freezes and is unusable. No response from support.

Bad service. The ability 5o access the magazine is terrible

Frustrating. Sparse publications. Don’t purchase!

I love it!. Enjoy the articles and advice.

Bookmark pages. Is there a feature to bookmark pages? If not, def should add that feature

iPad subscription. App is sketchy... content not as good RBA,MBA.. App

Ridiculous app, Cancelled my paper subscription.. I struggled to get this app to work correctly when it first came out. At that time the digital subscription was free for existing paper subscribers. It was never user friendly, but now the digital version of the magazine is no longer free for existing subscribers. It was the final straw for me...two days ago I cancelled my subscription of 15 years, but not solely because of the app. It was as a result of the slow transformation of Bicycling from a fairly practical, honest conduit of information for cyclists to a magazine that completely caters to the industry sales hype by recommending ridiculously priced products (bikes' shoes, etc..) that are unnecessary and overkill for the majority of cyclists (new and experienced). Additionally, Bill Strickland run-on writing style was absolutely maddening. Anyhow, I saw the opportunity for a breakaway and took it. It feels great to have dropped them. They can hang back with the Freds and compare the size of their bottom brackets.

Content is great- App is clumsy. Obviously- the writing and content is great. But Bicycling needs an updated app that features content like a website. This is literally just a digital edition of the magazine.

A complete disaster.. After purchasing a subscription through iTunes I tried to create an account. The app keeps timing out on registration. Now I have to see if a human can help me. Thanks for nothing. (Edit) It turns out that the situation is far worse than I suspected. I learned by talking to customer service that the print magazine, digital magazine and website access are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SUBSCRIPTIONS. So if I wanted a website subscription I would pay an additional $40 to access it ON TOP OF separate digital and print subscriptions. This actually blows my mind that someone could come up with such a Byzantine arrangement, probably Rube as in Goldberg. Just completely not acceptable. You guys need to do better.

App is a total waste of good money. Have had this app for several years. For over a year now, I have had little or no luck in viewing my subscribed issues. Contacted developer and waited several weeks for a response. I deleted app and reinstalled app and it worked for another month. I haven’t tried to use it due to the frustration of not getting what I paid for and tried again this week with no luck. Total piece of crap. Don’t waste your money. If I could give it negative stars it would be a -5

Mag does not open! Constantly crashes. Boooo. Frustrating! The mag does not load... I’ve tried installing and re-installing... which I could switch to hard copy... money wasted... if I can give a negative star I would. Smh... step up...

App destroys magazine. I like the magazine, but the reading experience with this app is unbearable. Not logical, hard to navigate, and horrendous off-line reading. I let my subscription lapse, unfortunately.

Too much interactive stuff -UPDATED. I'm not a print subscriber, so don't have these documented issues. I am a digital subscriber to many iPad mags, and this one is extremely frustrating to use. Many pages have windows where the text is scrollable, some pages require clicking or dragging in certain pages, articles either page down or right. I'm constantly trying figure out how to read the content. It is like a hidden object game; I just want to read the content! Being able to scroll drown to read an entire article without advancing a couple of pages is appreciated, but the methods are too numerous making it way too distracting. We should not have to read navigation cues, in order to read a magazine!!! Macworld and RBA are good examples of online magazines, very simple to use. It's been 18 months since my first review, and it has only gotten worse. I will eventually drop this subscription.

Took away the free digital version with upgrade - UPDATE. Update: I contacted Rodale's customer service about this issue. To my surprise they offered to convert my print subscription to a digital one. For me at least this was ideal since I read it on the iPad 95% of the time. It still stinks that they took away a valuable feature but they are willing to work with subscribers. The best reasons to subscribe to Bicycling was that you could get the digital version along with the print version. With this recent app update this is no longer the case. Taking this feature away from current subscribers reflects poorly on Rodale and I wont be renewing my subscription to Bicycling when its over.

Fabulous. I wrote a previous review giving this App one star because as a print subscriber, I could not login and view the issues digitally. My initial contact with support was poor, at best. However, after a couple of emails, I caught the attention of higher powers with the magazine. They quickly got to the bottom the the problem, which was not caused by them, or me, and had it resolved. The App works great on my iPad, and the pictures are fantastic. Great job Bicycling Magazine!! All you print subscribers, try again. But use your account number instead of your email to log in.

Paid for app - but only allows me 5 mins to read!. Totally frustrated. How come this app tells me I have only five minutes to read, and then have to pay 5.99 to see more?? I paid 15 bucks already. Now when I go to the existing users box to log in, it says it doesn’t recognise my email or zip code...what’s going on here? I was avoiding buying a paper subscription, but if this doesn’t resolve itself I’m going cancel this app. I had high hopes for this one....

Still doesn’t work.. Crap app.

A fun read, inspired me to get a bike!. **Firstly, I figured out the download problem after much frustration...you have to hit the LIBRARY button at the bottom, the Store section doesn't work properly. I like newsstand apps designed like this, closer in design to the print magazine than some of the big money mags do, with just enough interactive elements to keep you going. Although I would like a little more juicyness, maybe some diagrams or how-to videos! Overall great editorial if you have any interest in bikes.

Does not give you full access. Does not give you full access to web based material.

From bad to worse.... The worst magazine interface ever. Every other magazine uses its cover page as the “click on me” button for opening the issue. Not Bicycling. They don’t even show the issue date. It’s impossible to go back to a specific issue except by trial and error. You should let ZINIO publish your magazine.

I can’t get in. About half the time I can’t open your posted articles. I’m paying lots of money and I expect things to work right.

Was just OK (when it worked). I love Bicycling magazine but the app has been a complete bust. App hangs constantly, making it completely unusable. Zero customer support. Don’t waste your time. Buy the print version if you want the content.

Terrible App. Save your money. The app doesn’t work.

Administration is Frustrating. I tend to read mags when I travel so it may be weeks between using this app. More than half the time I want one of the mags it makes me re-sign in. Every mag has its own method of signing in, each can have a different email address and all have different passwords so a compromise of one does not expose all. One mag, Consumer Reports, has a limit on the number of characters for the email address and I have to make up one to use since mine exceeds their limit. It is very frustrating to get on the road and discover that I can read few if any mags. Please make the sign in process easier. I find I am not renewing my subscriptions since I do not get to read them when I want to do so.

Quality testing needs.. Crashes. Duplicate content. Seriously disappointing what with a price increase.

Very Happy with Digital Edition. I've been a long time subscriber to Runner's World and like others who have posted, I wish I had access to that digital subscription included with the price of my print subscription. I'd even be happy to just transition my print subscription to digital. That being said, I hadn't been a subscriber of Bicycling and decided to simply try the digital edition. Although I don't recall it being stated, I have been receiving the print editions as well. Personally I think the digital version is pretty awesome. This isn't just a PDF version of the print copy. Unlike in a print version where you need to jump to the back of the magazine to finish an article, you can simply scroll down. There are also cool interactive features and I like how the digital version provides more content (such as additional bike reviews) compared to the print version. I hope Bicycling keeps up the great work with the digital edition.

Keeps crashing. Can’t restore purchases

New Format BLOWS!. The whole thing is a nightmare to navigate, just canceled my subscription.

Terrible. This

Disappointed. This app is no longer supported outside of the US. Why the suden change!? As well, the publisher is no longer allowing subscribers of the print issue to download the digital copy.

Needs work.. I originally subscribed to the printed version and saw in the AppStore that I can get a digital version too.. The only problem is that my printed versions show up earlier than the digital downloads. Case in point: I just rec'd the my July edition in the mail today and it's not even available as a download yet.

Bicycling app. App works okay for, I find the interface a bit clumsy. Sometimes I am not sure which way to scroll to continue with the article. I wish there was an option to change the font and background to make it easier to read, like the book reader has.

No problems here.... Works fine...

Disappointed. No updates, simply put useless

Wow. Really great use of gestures to make the great content even more engaging. Thank you!

Glad I read the reviews first. As has been said, seems cheesy to charge twice for the same content. Why not just do what the Economist does? Charge more and give access to both mediums? Any good alternatives?

Great app!. Great application and functionality - improves the overall reading experience!

Looks fantastic but.... It works really well except for the problem of being unable to download the magazines that are part of my print subscription. Just an endless cycle (I recognise that word from somewhere) of login and relogins and no recognition that I am a subscriber. I will likely delete it till the next version arrives.

Poor app. Can't restore old issues. Customer support page doesn't work either.

Completely frozen. App was frozen at the last screen I viewed. I reinstalled the app and now it is frozen at the splash screen. Might be since the last IOS update. It's obvious that this was not tested at even the most rudimentary level. Pretty typical of a lot of stuff you buy through the App Store.

Really bad. S s

Crash and crash some more. I'd love to give a rating on how the app presents the magazine but I have no idea since I can't get past the splash screen. I've restarted reinstalled and it still just crashes.

Crap. Thought I was buying a monthly subscription. No updates to the " magazine" - what a rip off - and no way to lodge a complaint other than via reviews....

The best cycling iPad app.. This app will NOT download new issues, it's flawed, they email me saying they are aware of the problem but still not working . Avoid this app until they update.

A fun extension of print version. I enjoy this and like the extra content. I have found it stable on my gen one ipad.

Great magazine app. Great content and great functionality!

Hmmmm....... What gives? I subscribe, get a couple of issues, then with the September issue, the system tells me I need a newer version of the app (which does not apparently exist) or I cannot download the issue. I question this in an email to customer service and I get back a generic response that does not even mention any new app! Very frustrating, disappointing and annoying. Update: same deal with October. Getting ready to cancel my subscription.

Good magazine and great use of IPad functions. I like the magazine! Never been a print subscriber, but I've heard the complaints of others regarding the price. Still, this is one of the better examples of the potential of using the iPad as a medium for delivering content in a magazine form.

Will not open. I was thrilled to have bicycling in digital, until I tried to use it. I can't get the any editions to open. Every time I try to download, it says that it can't and tells me to re-open the app. I re-open the app and the same thing. I tried emailing bicycling, good luck with that. The former magazine editor Steve Madden is the VP of the digital magazine. With all of the complaints, Steve, get it fixed!

Excellent interface. The magazine is vibrant and easy to navigate. There are a few extras over the print version, as well as dynamic web links. A good price too, if you're not already a print subscriber.

Great material but app is lacking. Love this magazine HATE the app. iPhone version works ok but too small to be useful. iPad version doesn't pick up iPhone purchases and wants to make me re-buy issues. Can't login to fix it. GIVE US PORTRAIT VIEWING Make the app as good as the magazine and you'll be my hero!

Text view is mistranslated, PDF view has no way finding. UPDATE: cancelled in favor of Texture app. It's not perfect either but better than this. This new version of the Bicycling app is worse in every way. The new text view is often mistranslated, not to mention that is just plain ugly. I could read most of this content online, I pay to have beautiful magazine. The PDF version has no way finding, it's just a PDF, no links, no way to jump from article to article. This is just plain out bad! I won't be renewing, I might just request a refund and start getting a physical copy.

Love the iPad specific features. I have the print subscription so it was nice to get the free iPad version as a bonus. I'll be sticking with the digital version from now on as it saves the recycling of old issues and is quite convenient to read. The latest issue has some iPad specific features that were nice. I'd like to see more of these features in the future.

Over-the-bars. Bicycling has been the best print magazine in the country for avid and entry-level bikers alike. I have been a subscriber for 15 years. However, I will not renew in 2013. Basic bad management, dishonesty and misrepresentation were evident when the publishers chose to blind-side faithful readers by canceling the joint online access to existing print customers. Regardless of being cut or not, new subscribers should ask, "Do I want to do business with a company that is not trustworthy?"

Greed. I subscribed recently to the print edition expecting to be able log into and download a copy of the digital edition, but it seems the policy no longer allows for a free download. There's not a discounted rate for print subscribers. I learned this only after struggling for an hour to log into the app with no help whatsoever from the help files that only showed information for Men's Health. If that was the quality of this app, I'm all too happy to delete it. Additionally the greed of this company to ask for a full fee or full priced subscription from print subscribers, I will gladly let this subscription lapse.

Why is it so difficult. I subscribed through iTunes and I cannot get the issue downloaded. Why is it so difficult? There is one positive, they give a 30 trial period before I get charged, I'm sure that I'll cancel before I see an issue to read. Too bad, it's a great magazine, enjoyed the print version for many years. Maybe time to look for something different.

Should be better. I am very happy to see this great magazine on the IPad. However, please consider using more of what the device can offer. Take Golf Digest as an example. They offer portrait and landscape viewing, as well as in app scrolling, video, and specific font size for each article. It is a special experience and totally worth $4.99 per issue. Unfortunately, your version is essentially PDF's that you can zoom in on. I definitely expected more. How about an update for the retina display. The text looks blurry on iPad 3.

Bicycling Magazine. The app is so good. I have no problem paying for an app that shows you how to perform certain stretches with 3-D movement. When you read about performing a certain stretch in a magazine you might not quite get it . If on the other hand you see it done like watching a video or dimensionally you really get it! First year subscriber to the magazine and the app well worth the cost.

Print subscribers no longer have access to iPad downloads?. It seems with the latest update on Jan. 22nd, 2013, I have lost access to the download version of the magazine. My subscription is paid until August. I had been enjoying both versions (download and print) since my wife and I share our iPad. But suddenly I won't have access through the app without paying for another online subscription for the download version. I have a better idea. I'll let my subscription end in August and delete this app today since I will not pay twice for the same magazine. Bye.

Who at Rodale thought this was a good idea?. To keep it simple, I have had a magazine subscription for about 6 years to many Rodale magazines. Rodale keeps suggesting that I grab this app and go digital...so I'm like sure why not, save on paper. Only do I find out I can't get the digital copies. Really? Why not offer existing customers the option to switch? Seems logical. That said, the UI is not ideal and the month fonts are overlaying on top of the magazines covers. The sign in link is not on every page, I should be. Took me a good minute to find it. Good news, it has not crashed but I'm deleting it cause I can't switch over and I refuse to pay twice. Enjoy!

No longer working. I am a print subscriber and previously was able to log in and download issues. However, every time I log in now, my only options are to subscribe or buy. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and talked to customer service three times. Three days ago, I was told the rep would contact technical support for more help... But I've heard nothing more. I tried another install tonight, same failure. It would be a great app if it just worked.

Buyer's Guide. Love the app. Yes, it needs to be tweaked. Other magazine apps do a better job in taking advantage of iPad capabilities. Also, the sign up process for print subscribers works fine but is more convoluted than necessary. And where is the 2012 Buyer's Guide? The print edition promised that as available for the iPad.

Trying. VERY trying. Trying to buy an issue and subscribe for several days now. When I tap the subscribe or buy link the little "waiting" circle just turns and turns and turns. Happened with several dozen different wifi services with which I have NO other problems. Would really like to get the magazine, but, after reading the one other review, maybe I'm dodging a bullet.

Nice app. Nice app, but a little confusing how to navigate the pages. Sometimes you swipe up, sometimes left - depending on of you're in an article or going to next page. Can't combine paper and electronic subscriptions. What's up with that? Nice content.

Crap. The app is absolute crap initially subscribed paid my fee, bought previously issued months. For some unknown reason the subscription stopped working, tried to open it again and they billed me a secondary time, it crashed again and I have been unable to download any new magazines for months. I tried contacting their support which did not work twice and I am still without any new magazines for several months and have paid two years of subscriptions. Their app appears be be a huge scam especially since they cannot resolve a simple problem and pocket the money a customer pays and not providing service or a digitally formatted magazine.

Great app except.... The digital version is only available 5-7 days after the print version shows up in my mailbox. Magazine is obviously done, why not make it available same time if not beforehand like many other mags? The delay is annoying because I prefer the digital version. Update: Still not fixed. Until this delay is gone, I cannot rate this app higher than three stars.

Works fine. I appreciate being able to read my magazine wherever I have my iPad. Free to subscribers of mag. Don't care for the delay between when publication comes out and when app version is available.

New App Not User Friendly. New App is not intuitive and is cumbersome to say the least. Used to be able to download issues to the app and read anytime (subscription thru Apple App Store), but now I need to create another account to be able to read content offline. Seems a little much. I like flipping thru pages from front to back of the mag and doesn't seem to let you do that anymore. Might as well just make this all web content. No need to waste memory for an app......

Infuriating to read. Trying to read this magazine is like a different puzzle on every page. Just so annoying. I've missed many articles because wherever it is supposed to go either doesn't work or I can figure it out. It's been this way for a long time and if anything it's gotten worse. Avoid at all costs and just read the magazine in the newsstand. It's not like they have a lot of content anyway.

IT DOES WORK for Print Subscribers - Read the screens CAREFULLY. I saw the negative reviews and thought I would try it. If you CAREFULLY read the screens and have the print edition available it does work very well and I have downloaded the Jan/Fed 2012 issue.

Worked for me. Not sure why others are having trouble, but I was able to use the magazine subscription I already have to download complimentary issues on the IPad without any problems. The January issue is the first available for iPad, so perhaps that was the problem for earlier users. No complaints. This is identical to the paper version. Very pleased.

Excellent once you can get started. The app is not easy to get set up and aligned to your subscription and even more difficult to get on multiple devices. Once you get it set up though it is one of the best digital periodicals out there. Creative content delivery and really user friendly

Content is there but the app itself needs some tweaking. You can't read in landscape mode. It has a hard time switching back to the application if you haven't closed it. Simple needs some tuning and it will be as good as it gets.

Current subscriber. I have been a longtime subscriber to the print version and was excited to read on issues on my iPad. I went through the process several times of setting up an account with my subscription number, but I keep getting a "failed authentication" message when I try to sign in. Please get this fixed!

Weak Format. It's really frustrating that the digital versions of Bicycling magazine are so weak. The user experience could and should be sooooo much better. Optimize the iPad version for actual reading and content consumption. Give us text that is real text – text we can search and read in a column. Let us adjust the size of the text. Bit mapped text is pathetic. Please take a cue from Peloton Magazine. I think that it could also stand some improvements, but it actually offers a pleasurable reading experience.

Not everything displays properly. I've been a print subscriber for several years but decided to switch to the iPad version for the September 2014 issue. As I read the issue (I had the print copy too), I noticed that some of the words on the infographics were crunched and/overlapped and unreadable. Other than that, so far, I am enjoying the iPad version better than the print version.

What? Pay twice of the same magazine?. I, like many others, have been a loyal print subscriber for years. Can't believe that Rodale expects me to pay a second time for the privilege of looking on my iPad at the same issue I have on my desk at home. Sorry. You guys need to catch up with the rest of the world. You are only getting one subscription from me for the same periodical...which I love to read.

Good Tech Support. I had the same issue others had but the Tech Support manager worked with me through a week of emails. He would not give up and now it works for me as a print subscriber. Should work right away, though, so I am rating the app low but think tech support getting a bad rap.

Very Good. Thanks so very much for getting this done on Apple's News Stand! I've waited for awhile to get several magazine titles all from one source and now it's possible with one of my favorites, Bicycling, being finally added. I've tried Bicycling on Nook app and Kindle app and this beats them both, hands down. My only wish is that I could read in landscape mode on my iPad Mini Ret. Other than that, excellent job.

Double Dippers. I have subscribed to Bicycling for a few years. I had been excited to find that I could access it via the iPad. While I understand that there might be a cost differential for development, I do not believe it warrants full pricing to already subscribers. I think I will stay with the lower physical price (they always provide deals for physical subscriptions) and kill a tree but save some money.

Rodale does not get it.... Rodale, the publisher of this magazine just does not get it. They seem to think that people will pay TWICE for their content. Rather than follow in the footsteps of other more established magazines like Sports Illustrated, Fortune, and Entertainment Weekly, with those magazine you subscribe to the print edition you also can view your magazine on the Ipad. Simple. Smart. Rodale wants you to purchase a SEPARATE IPAD SUBSCRIPTION, even if you have the print version already! This is a sign of a company that does not seem to understand the new digital media. Good luck with your lousy strategy! I am not renewing.

Nice app. Good information and easy to navigate. But running into a problem as I write this, some how the new issue (September) won't download keeps prompting me to update app... Problem is that I am use a Gen 1 iPad for a reader. I hope the its just the app not the OS that needs the update, and is the update to app an automatic thing...

Good magazine app. App does what it's supposed to do, it allows you to read bicycling magazine on Ipad. Gives you duplicate of paper magazine so don't subscribe to the paper version if you have this app.

Dosn. Despite the promise of free digital editions for current subscribers, all you get is a preview of the last copy and an invitation to either subscribe or purchase the current edition. Bicycling support was of no help over the phone and they don't answer customer support e-mails.

Awesome Digital Magazine. This is my first digital magazine and it is awesome! I bought the hard copy of September 2014 issue and I liked reading it and thought it would be better to read on the go via iPhone/iPad! Thanks!

Seriously Rodale?. Rodale did you actually test the new format with actual customers?? I'm dumbfounded how this poor of an app could get to market. Not only is it terrible to navigate, previously downloaded content is gone, its slow and lags. I have many Rodale subscriptions because I love the content, but with a platform this disconnected from the customer, I will find my content elsewhere.

Can't turn pages. Just auto down loaded the current issue of bicycle magazine but before I open I looked at a previous issue I was turning pages then it stopped I can't go to another magazine issues tried to close the app and reboot iPad. The only other issue is you can't look up words or hi-light like you can in iBook. Thanks for any help

Great app + features. Disclaimer: Bicycling is nowhere close to what I like in my cycling magazines. However, when I saw the functionality of the iPad app I got a subscription just because it's pretty cool. Most iPad magazines are basically .pdf versions of the print magazine but Bicycling is very interactive which keeps it interesting. I never had the print edition so I can't complain about loosing the subscription.

Bicycle Magazine. Like the magazine, but continual challenges to have latest issue either really available when notice of availability sent, or not have it state one needs to purchase or subscribe issue. Also a bit slow in display and advancing, but that would be more tolerable if general access problems resolved.

Please roll back to Previous Version. I subscribe to several magazines that are supported by MAZ, including Runner's World, Bicycling & Men's Fitness. I have enjoyed them all over the years and they are all now non-functional. I very much enjoyed having the issues download for air travel, no despite following directions (when the app does work) they are not available. Please roll this app back to the previous version. This is not only not an improvement, it is about to cause me to discontinue my subscriptions.

Nice!. I used my current print subscription to create a new account, which apparently signs you in. I had to sign out and sign back in for the current edition to become viewable. I like this digital edition of the magazine, one less magazine to recycle every month. Thanks!

Print subscriber entitlement now works, needs landscape. Happy to be able to now load the Jan issue and take it with me on iPad. However, lack of landscape support is disappointing, when so many other mags have that (like Procycling).

iPad app is great. I really like the new features of the new digital version. I will go digital and allow my other subscription to expire. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because I was told that I could flip my mail subscription over to pay for the digital and customer service did not come through for me.

Beyond the Paper Experience. I read more of what I paid for and no tree dies, no additional clutter to throw out. There are additional features here and I can read it in bed without my glasses and without a light. Now if I could only get the 3 issues I had paid for prior to the upgrade. I will have take that up with management.

Disappointed. One, Rodale's electronic team is definitely not straight on their priorities. Problems and issues do get fixed, eventually. May be the same month, may be months later. Two, feedback falls on deaf ears. Three, the fact that a print subscription is separate AND the same price as their electronic edition is pathetic. It is clear that Rodale is only interested in making $ and is content producing a mediocre product.

New Design Falls Flat. The text and PDF views lack the interactive features that made reading on the iPad interesting. And if you're going to offer a PDF view, why cannot it not be available on a computer? I find the layout uninteresting. Since most of the content is now on social media and Apple News (though not the most current), I may choose to stop the subscription and just read the occassional article offered on these other outlets.
