Very helpfup. Gone are the days when my business cards would stack up on my desk. After a photo of a business card, you still need to check to ensure that the data is correct, however it is significantly easier to input data into your contacts!

Where were you all my life?. The app saves me so much time and is amazingly accurate! Business cards actually make it into my contact list now…

It’s so much better. I’ve used SamCard for a while now. It used to be hit or miss in pulling all the information. I almost never have to make edits anymore. Great job! Great app! Throw the business cards away!

Great productivity app. Used this and found it to be a time saver. Only drawback is for those business cards that are customized with fonts and images not easily recognized by the software. Update: App stopped putting contact info into contacts. Ugh

Best scanning quality. I tried several business card scanner apps and most only recognize about 50% of the text which leaves a lot of data entry to do. This app captures about 90% and us particularly good at capturing names and email addresses

Beyond imagination!!!. As always frustrated to enter the details from a business card... I just wanted to find an app just do that for me. But, was simply shocked to discover the unbelievable power of this magical App!!!

After paying $29 doesn’t work. This app worked fine but I recently upgraded my phone to Apple iPhone 14+ and now the card show up as fuzzy and unreadable. I also tried to take a regular picture which looks fine but then could not be loaded manually. I wrote to the developer and it took them weeks to acknowledge the problem and then they only said they would try to fix it in the future.

Quite practical app for business. This simple yet practical app allows me to quickly add contacts on my smart phone in less than a minute, by simply scanning the customer’s business card. So far I haven’t had major issues with it. Only 1 or 2 contacts or every 20 I have to manually edit something before saving changes to my contacts, but only because the card design is graphically complex ... and even in those case I only had to make small corrections, which again was easy and fast to save that contact ...

I have used This card scanner for several years. Great scanner. Once you confirm the information is correct, or make corrections, you save it to your contact list. Easy-Peasy!

Good. I want to send the namecard to a few partners but there was busy and different schedules so I can not meet them directly. Therefore, this app has helped me a lot. It sent copies of my namecard to them quickly. The namecard shooting is extremely sharp. So, I have more opportunities to develop their own business

Excellent App!. This app truly does what it is supposed to do: take a business card and make a contact out of it. You have to do very little editing. I am very pleased with purchasing this.

Not perfect but better than expected. I have some many cards and looking for a card was too time consuming. I searched for a scanner to store and to search faster. And I found this app. Pretty easy to use but need to make corrections due to mid-reading the card. In particular the gloss finish or some unusual layout. Regular paper and standard format seems to be just fine.

Failed on first scan. The first scan of a relatively plain (black on white, minimal graphics) business card failed with the person's name, the URL and email address. It did get the phone numbers correct however they lacked the visual delimiters normally used for US numbers so they were just a string of ten digits. I understand the technology behind this is hard but other apps (office lens by Microsoft for example) don't fail and moreover they don't ruin the user experience with advertising.

Great App. Scans most information into phone, you can edit before placing in contacts. Highly recommend this App if you acquire many business cards...

Slimy subscription ploy. This is a scam. Wanted to try it after reinstalling, and it went straight to “Thank you for tour subscription!” I’m not going to subscribe. Hard to tell if the subscription was canceled from the app; took a screenshot from Apple App Store showing pricing and a phrase to “Select an option to resubscribe” There’s no customer service, not even a developer website, in the app or anywhere else I could find. Stay away!!!

Never type a contact again!. Easy to use, take a picture of the business card and throw it away. No more piles of cards;)

It Stopped adding cards to my phone contacts. I’m not sure what changed, but now when I scan a card I don’t see the new contact in my phones contact list. This was a major feature I’m in baffled by why it was removed.

Very user friendly w less card data interpretation errors. I tried the free version and noticed it was very accurate in interpreting the card info. When my trials finished (please increase number of trial cards) I went and tried another card app just to find out it was much less accurate and did not have a clean/straightforward connection w my contacts list on the phone. That's when I realized I needed to get the paid version.

Quite a useful app. I receive a mountain of business cards from clients. This application does what it says it does. Sometimes the OCR jumbles the wording/numbering a bit, but I have found that it is usually due to the layout and background shading of the card. Very nice for a free app!

Impressive app but needs work. I like this app though sometimes it reads the business card incorrectly and I have to retype the info which defeats the purpose of the app. Would love to see that improve with the annual subscription.

Wow, super. Have been using for close to a month now and it’s working perfectly except that it does not recognise the “+” sign in front of telephone numbers. This you have to add manually yourself. Plus if a card does not state Country in the address then that too you have to load manually . Overall it’s very good and worth the money

Excellent!!!!. Performs just as well as expected. Saves valuable time placing contact information into my outlook contacts. Occasionally I may need to correct some details, but that too, is very easy to do. I recommend this app to anyone that secures business cards that need to be added to contact files.

REE. I will give this app 5 stars 2snaps and a big thank you. It’s so easy accurate and I don’t have to deal with stacks of cards. The proprietors also like not having to use up all their cards. Very impressive.

Sam Card saves me precious time. It has improved greatly since its concept. While I still double check that the info copied correctly, there are less errors that need editing before saving.

Not perfect but seems to work the best of others I've tried. The text to import doesn't always get it right, but it is very easy to go in and correct things that aren't read properly. The first and last name once corrected do not show up as having a space between them in the app, which is a little disconcerting, but they seem to show up properly in contacts.

Excellent App for uploading biz cards. Only takes a few seconds and much easier than typing all the details in the old fashioned way.

Love this App!!. When I downloaded the free version and scanned in a couple business cards, I realized i should've downloaded it a long time ago. It is just what I need to get all those biz cards out of my pockets and into my Contacts list. This app is intuitive and simple, and I immediately upgraded to the paid version. Essential App - Best Business Card Reader. Still the best in the field - not some remote service you have to wait days for. SamCard inputs the data, you can tweak anything you need or want to, and that's it.

Great - one reservation. Love this app because I do a lot of networking and it makes entering all those business cards much easier. I also like being able to save the pic of the card to my photos for viewing later rather than keeping them physically. One minor suggestion to make it perfect - allow the user to edit the save to account/email feature so we can easily know which list we’re saving the contact to without having to figure it out. I happen to have 3 emails I manage and an iPhone so it shows 4 ways to save the contact. This is great except all of my emails are listed as “address book” and I have to figure out which is which and then remember it each time.

OnlyJust starting with this App. It seems a great app. But just starting to use and have not explored all it is supposed to do. So far it displaced name order. And had a lag with connecting to Facebook and Twitter. But optimistic about opportunities to use this to start the year off with a knockout contact update.

The perfect experience.. I tried different biz card apps before but was disappointed with all of them until I came across this one. It records most biz cards info accurately and I don't need to make too many changes. The most important thing is that It doesn't need to connect the network, I can feel the security of the data.

Does the job.. This app does the job and allows me to add people to my mailing list quickly. Speeds up the process of networking and allows me to not have that proverbial "stack" of business cards that used to lay on my desk. It goes straight to my address book and merges with my other mail accounts. One hit against is that it doesn't always pick up cards especially if the font is a little funky. Also have to make sure information goes to the right category. The recognition software could use a bit of tweaking. But overall it works well.

Extremely handy app. How effective and useful this app is, it surely helps me to save tons of time. Instead of typing manually those card's information, now all I need is open this app and take photos of those card and the app will recognize those information and automatically add them into my contact list.

Full use. I really like the program, after going through a few. I really like that there are very few mistakes made in the scan. If there was a dislike it would be the number of cards you can scan before before you in app purchase. I wish they would have made it a 7 or full month trial before limiting the cards scanned. That is the only reason I could say 4 stars out of 5. Wonderful app I've found that I do use it more in everyday meet and greets.

SAMCARD. The app works great! No more carrying around a bunch of business cards, no more trying to find people's business contact ind, and no more getting upset when you lose the business card! Only issue I am having - might be operator error - is getting the app to recognize when I already have an existing contact that I just want to update vs. brand new. Very easy to use and glad my son showed it to me!

Cancel Subscription. How do I cancel this subscription? It gives instructions to turn off auto renewal in user settings, but there is no auto renewal option. Please advise as I don’t want this monthly subscription.

SamCard is easy to use but..... Very easy to use based on a simple photo, but it doesn’t import it into my contacts so, what’s the point!! So much for the text they type for you below..... This is great and simply tool that makes your life easy to manage all those business cards. Some fields need to be checked in case it misread the text but 95% right for me.

Works but be ready to pay.. Used to love this app. Terrible upgrades lately. I have had to pay for it again just to access regular functions I used to use. Basic settings don't save contacts to your outlook anymore. Need to navigate and set each contact in outlook. Now they want a monthly fee. Boo.

Causes permission glitches. You’ll never be able to erase the pieces of the software that seek permission when new contacts are added. Even if you remove the app manual through settings, you’ll still get a dialog from SAM cars saying you don’t have authority to add CONTACTS TO YOUR OWN PHONE. This app stays with you forever once contracted.

So far so good. I’ve only uploaded a half dozen cards thus far. My only complaint is that it doesn’t recognize Canadian Postal codes. Otherwise it does a decent job of names, titles, phone numbers and email addresses.

Just like magic.. It recognizes about 80% correct. Most cards work great. It saves time as you can review the cards later. It allows me to upload to CRM after the name is added via my contacts.

Pricing is Awful. +Product works fairly well and does exactly what is expected. -$5.99 a year for perpetuity is ridiculous. -Generally speaking, subscription services are dangerous to consumers -Forced to auto renew I would gladly pay a one tine fee for this, hell i may even subscribe but I don't let companies keep their tentacles in my wallet by allowing them to auto renew. Its a parasitic tactic in which they bank on you forgetting to turn it off and call it "convenience." At least make it an option.

Pretty good. Still needs fine tuning - seems to misfire on reading info on pretty much every upload. Names etc will still need a spell check and a few corrections. Still faster and easier than doing it manually.

The need to input. Unfortunately, this app I’ve had for quite some time, and I’ve had to input most of the information by keying it in. Taking the picture just does not work for some reason. Some of my friends have other apps, which works so much better.

Instant input of business card data. Works great. A real time saver if you receive a lot of business cards.

It is now by subscription. I bought this a couple of years ago and went to open it and it now wants $19 a year to use what I had already purchased. Well, it’s a good product but for the person that only uses it four or five times a year....and has ready paid for it once. It’s a ripoff. You can keep it.

Better than manually keying. This app isn't perfect, but it is mostly accurate most of the time. Proof-read the upload and you'll be good to go.

Seems Like a waste of time. I thought it was a app where I could store and retrieve business cards quickly in one location not sure why I need to input information on a app just so it can be saved to my contacts and then have to search the phone in order to remember the name of the business seems like a waste of time.

Worth the Money for sure!. This is a great app and I use it almost everyday! It gets the letters and words mixed up so you do have to double check the email addresses and phone numbers and so on but Fantastic aside from that. Great app!!

Mostly great.... Love that it’s an easy way to add cards to contacts, without them lying all over my desk waiting for me to do it. Take a pic, and toss ‘em. I’d rate it 5 stars just for that, except it only works well (no edits required) about half the time, depending on the card layout.

Great time saver. SamCard is a great tool for converting business card details into contact information with only a few edits if card is not easily readable. I have been very pleased with its performance accuracy.

Money hungry app. This app only allows you to save three business cards per week otherwise they want you to pay per month to use this application you have to take multiple pictures of the same card for to read the card correctly I give this rating zero if I could do not recommend for purchase
