Perfect app. I've been hoping for an app like this, I wish you could make a search feature and a remember me for password or better login, other than that I just want to say thank you for this app.

Great app. It is such a great and convenient app to help people at anytime, wether days, nights or weekends. I have been using this app as a physician and time after time the information has been so valuable.

Good app. Freezes more than it should. I have had multiple instances where I've tried to answer a question, only to not be able to post after I've written it. It is a great concept, though, and I enjoy being able to help people all over the world.

2 suggestions. This is pretty good so far. I have two suggestions to make it even easier to use: 1. Arrange for an autorotate so when I use my iPad in a horizontal or landscape mode (which is always due to my attached keyboard) I don't have to twist my neck awkwardly to read it. 2. The feedback via notifications is nice, but it would be better if the feedback was included on the same page as the answer that I provided. In other words, the notification says something like "Thank you for...", please click for your answer. I don't always remember my answer, so I click, but then I don't have the patient's response. I then have to click back to see it again. These are small things, but they would improve the user experience significantly.

Better than previous version!. Great mobile companion to make use of time anywhere to be able to help patients by answering their questions. More ability to write answers the way you need to and correct typos before sending out. Ability to add images a plus. Overall much improved functionality!

An APP for everyone: patients, students and Physicians. It's very user friendly. I have patients contacting me at all hours of the day ( night ) from all over the world. They have ordinary questions which they could not ask their doctors, or very complicated issues that were not addressed by their physicians. I have responded to primary care and Ophthalmology patients receiving 190 thank you notes 234 followers 525 Dr agrees. I can help patients anywhere anytime for Free with a smile. Help people around the world. This App makes it easy and fun to answer questions from people around the world who may not have access to medical care.

Healthtap App. An excellent app providing a secure virtual interface that is easy to use for both patients and doctors. It allows access to useful information across the globe at any time in, in any time zone.

Health tap. This app will not allow me, as a Dr, to use the app. I have to go from my email to be able to sign in appropriately to answer pt questions. This is a good app for answers to basic questions. This is a good place to start for medical concerns.

Helpful little app!. As a physician, it's nice to be able to offer quick advice for a spectrum of medical problems and queries. Also nice to see what advice has been given by others. Great app!

Efficient way of disseminating useful info. Nice app that helps patients find useful info and points them into the right direction to get more specific care. The new Virtual consult feature will further enhance the experience for all.

Doctors do house calls. This is the newest trend in medicine where patients from all over the world can reach out and access physicians in all specialties and get expert advice. "It is very rewarding and gratifying to give people advice about their medical concerns in an open forum like this."

Tremendous Concept. The concept of health Is brilliant. I give it five stars not because it is absolutely perfect, it's not, but given the plethora of devices and complex interactions it must keep with users as well as their own idiosyncrasies when it comes to using a program as interactive as this one I think you have to give it a five star rating despite it's minor imperfections. For example, the program sometimes spontaneously makes you "unavailable" and that can be a real downer especially if you're not watching your clock and are off-line for more than five minutes per hour. But usually, a quick call to tech-support and you can fix the problem. Nevertheless, they need to fix that glitch. Then, there is the inability to actually sign out or go to another part of the HealthTap Program or application platform when you are doing a consultation on a smart phone. You literally have to reboot your phone to get out of that consultation note mode and be able to sign back into the program. That is really inconvenient and a time waster as well as potentially causing one to lose consults due to the boot up and boot down time of the phone.

Very cool!. As a physician, I must say this could be one of the first (quoting Steve Jobs) "insanely great" medical apps out there. More accurately, it's not so much the app as it is the concept. Give docs a way to practice and make a living in a "virtual" clinic. Eliminate the excess costs of receptionists, M.A.s, billers, office space rent, medical supplies, office supplies, etc. Let me sell my one valuable asset, my knowledge and problem solving ability (I.e., my brain power) with no overhead cost, in an instantly accessible environment for a very low cost to consumers. It's a win-win for everyone. All they need now is for the world to catch on. If docs would sign up, then patients will follow. They need a few high profile docs to promote it (like Dr. Oz) and it will be revolutionary. Otherwise, it's just a gimmick for geeky physicians like me.

Scary. The endorsements this app claims to have convinced my to sign up for this against my better judgement. I have my name and medical license number. It said my account was being processed. The next day, the app said my email was not on file- there was no member with my email and I can't login. I tried writing for help over a day ago- no response. What are they doing with my information?? I can only imagine. I will have to lawyer up, but protect yourself and steer clear!

Poor functionality. Here are the issues that I've brought up to the team too but no improvement despite a few updates!! 1. Can't search questions or subjects. Whatever I enter it takes me to the same general questions page. 2. I get tons of notifications but when I tap on it, it takes me to the same general questions page. 3. The app crashes a lot in iPhone 5. 4. Very slow to open and submit questions.

The future of healthcare. I love being able to see my patients anywhere. The interface is very easy to use. My practice has increased as a result of using HealthTap as I've accepted new patients with this app. Have recommended to peers. A must have.

Doctors can answer general health questions that benefit thousands of patients. Doctors can also invite their own patients and respond to curbside private consults. Telemedicine, Telehealth is a great tool to improve access. Healthtap for Doctors provides the perfect platform to implement Telehealth and Concierge Medicine in your practice. I have used several Telemedicine apps. Healthtap is by far the best and most comprehensive app I have used. It makes implementation and documentation a seamless process. The video conferencing is of superb quality. Doctors are also able to use Healthtap to review and recommend apps for their patients and colleagues. It also enables doctors to publish care guides for common medical conditions and review the usefulness of various treatments. It is a fun app that makes you feel good and do good. It is a must have app.

My favorite health app. HealthTap is my absolute favorite health app. It is a great, safe service for doctors and gives us a great chance to help people in our spare time. Simple and easy to use. Doctors like it too.. As a physician who uses HealthTap, I like this app very much. I find that it is a convenient and effective way to keep in touch with patients, answer their medical questions & solve their medical problems in a manner that traditional practice can not. This app expands the doctor-patient relationship into an area free from the influence (or, rather, encumbrance) of big health insurance companies and mega hospital conglomerates. It's a small but important step towards the future of healthcare: reconnecting a doctor to the patient without anyone else in the room.

NO RECOGNITION FOR THE APRN!. Doesn't surprise me. I downloaded the "doctors" health tap hoping to register and connect with some other psychiatric clinicians to gain some practice insights for my patients. But alas, there is NO RECOGNITION for the advanced practice nurse practitioner. I'm NOT happy. There are EdD, PhD, among other philosophical "doctorates" that MAY or MAY NOT have clinical experience, but no place for the APRN who is often the front line clinician especially in rural areas? I implore the developers to kindly RETHINK this omission. Consider Joy Behar's failure to recognize our position in healthcare...

Giving Back. Except for the occasional freeze requiring reinstallation of the app, it's rewarding to have a forum to "pay it forward" & potentially help someone with a qualified answer. Many are questions patients can Google for themselves, but occasionally, there's a question where you can give useful info. Very nice app, beats playing games to kill time.

Excellent learning tool for doctors. There is so much doctors can get out of helping patients on HealthTap. HealthTap is fun, interesting, and always adding new features. Doctors are recognized for their expertise that is being used to help people. Thank you very much.

Latest update is BAD. HealthTap for Doctors has always thought very highly of itself. It's like going to a basketball game where the flashing lights, color commentary, and video and audio displays make the actual play on the court look dull and wan by comparison. But at least it more or less worked. This latest version is supposed to be a big update and improvement. Maybe it will be eventually, but it isn't yet. It is buggy and balky. Needs a bit of work before it's ready for prime time.

I can't edit my profile on the app or online. Is this a scam?. I'm an approved healthtap doctor but I can't update my profile. I have tons of awards, votes, thanks, and network connections. But I can't edit my profile - I tried on the app and on the web. The red circle goes on forever. What's the point of us doing all the work when it does not really help our reputation like they try to keep indicating. Makes me now wonder if this is all a scam. I will continue to check and will update this review.

Excellent app for public service. Most people play angry birds in their free time . Instead, I like to log into this app and help people all over the world pro bono by answering medical questions for people who do not have access to medical resources for a myriad of reasons. The questions are organized so you can choose to answer questions in a particular category, or you can jump in anywhere at random. The patients are always very grateful and they send you thank you notes. I have answered questions for people in India, Pakistan, the USA, and lots of other places. You don't have to answer any question you don't want to. It's the best volunteer activity I have ever had, but there is now an option where you can develop a FFS type online practice. I love it!

Fun to share. We're all busy, but sometimes it ls fun just to drop a bit of advice here and there. Good app, easy to use, and a good way to share information with colleagues.

Amazing service. The app is smooth, clean, and works great on my iPhone 6. The Concierge service is amazing. For all those things that doctors do that don't get reimbursed (especially things like phone visit follow ups, refills, etc), Concierge can be a great way to expand access and do it in a way that makes sense financially for doctor and patient.

Makes me love being a doctor. With this app I can provide people with timely medical information about the topics they want to hear about most. Those little questions they were embarrassed to ask their doctor, the thoughts they had just after the end of the visit, and the second opinion they really need can be answered by doctors who really want to spend the extra time and give that extra attention.

Glitches. Good overall. Some glitches. Like when trying to write in the tag area (or similar input areas) when answering a question; I'm unable to write the complete word. Sometimes refreshing takes forever. And sometimes the screen is not responsive when sliding from the menu to the main screen.

Love & not Lovable. HealthTap and this app are outstanding. What I don't appreciate about this app is that it ls locked in the Portrait position. I'm left-handed and have a keyboard case on my iPad. I need to turn the iPad sideways to type and my left hand is smashed against the keyboard as I do. Thus, lots of errors and wasted time.

Finally. A company that designs software to make a doctors life EASIER! Love how fast the design in this app improves! Keep it up!

HealthTap is doing a great job. Breaking into the healthcare field is challenging. Healthtap is doing a great job at navigating the waters, rolling out updates and new services. Overall a great concept with great people behind it.

A nice virtual patient care app. I'm an internal medicine physician who uses this app to see patients after hours (patients who work during normal hours and cannot take time off) and because I enjoy answering patient questions (it's fun). This is a reasonably well designed app for virtual patient care for my needs (mostly casual use). The main problem with this application is that patient questions are submitted "raw" and are usually poorly worded and ambiguous. Thus, a common reply to patients is "see your doctor" because there is no sensible answer to what the patient asked. There should be a patient question "moderation" or "question review" where questions are reviewed with respect to are they appropriate. The patient questions should be filtered in some way: is this question something that should be asked on this system ... i.e., "What should I do about this crushing chest pain?" Is not an appropriate question --- the patient needs to dial 911 and get help live and in person. In some cases the question is not even coherent ... something like "I have big fingers" ... which may be a poor Google translation of a complicated question; incoherent questions should be returned to sender for clarification. The system is set up so that physicians can "invite" patients to see them over this system. For many older / non-internet using patients, this system is too difficult to use. Otherwise, this is a nice system and has a "free" and a "paid" mode of use. Thus, it may be possible to build an online patient base with the free mode and then switch to the paid mode when the demand / volume of patients justifies making the switch.

Friendly and easy to use. Excellent way to connect with people who have medical concerns and worries- worldwide. As well as consult with board-certified experts in their respective fields.

Can be better. To answer questions you must scroll through same posted questions over and over again. Very time consuming.

Refreshing to have information you can trust.. Fast answers and confirmation from other Dr in their speciality at your fingertips.

Great app, in portrait mode. The app is very user friendly. Only recommendation would be to allow for landscape mode. Unfortunately with the iPad app stuck in portrait mode, using keyboard case is very difficult/limited.
