This is a wonderful app.. So far I am loving this app. I however am not that typical white wedding, fairytale, roses and girly - girly girl. I am one who wants off the beaten path with possible (more than possibly) a red and black, black and gray, or just completely black dress. I want my wedding to be memorable with all the things that a traditional wedding just does not possess. Skulls and most things gothic, that’s what (well honestly-we) want. This site has opened my eyes to costs involved and the when, how and the great possibility of how much I am going to spend. So if I am wanting to spend more than what my budget is allowed I know that I am going to have to spend less on something else. This app would have gotten 5+ stars if I could have just really put in my wedding style but was only able to click on one out of many options of the choosing my wedding style questionnaire. I still say thank you for this wonderful app though. I just have to search other sites for with our wedding planning.

Very organized app. The Knot has been an indispensable tool during our wedding planning. My fiancé and I have been our own wedding planners so we had a lot to take on! I love the timeline feature and guest list feature. Some things we had to do from a laptop because it wasn’t possible on the app but mostly everything is very accessible. Printing the timeline is a pain though. Something is wrong with that feature. It only prints the first page unless you do some crafty finagling! But minor flaw! I love that you can pick a charity that the Knot will contribute to in accordance with your wedding gifts. Our guests didn’t really use our honeymoon/gift area of the site for some reason but those who did said it was pretty simple. You do have to wait 2-3 weeks to get money which is kind of a bummer. Overall the organization and helpfulness of the app is outstanding. It reminds you of things to do, send helpful emails, and suggests vendors for you. I would’ve honestly been lost without it so thank you for making my wedding day possible!!

Fine if you’re starting from zero. Only took me a couple of days to get really fed up with the app. There’s very little customizing when you get going so if you’re anywhere between ‘I know exactly what I have to do, I just want a reminder/checklist/countdown’ and ‘I have no idea what a bouquet is’ then you’ll either be underserved or annoyed with how many things you don’t need at all they are still throwing at you. For instance, I have my venue booked, checked that off my list, and the app still kept peppering me with nearby venue recommendations. I needed to handle rentals on my own and there was very little help on that front. Advice to developers: do some light screening on the front end BY CATEGORY. Ask if the user is starting from scratch or if they’ve already decided on something. Ask if all events are in the same place or if a venue is needed for different events. Once you get answers to a few ‘what type of wedding are you having’ and ‘is it in the city or the country or somewhere in between’ questions, HAVE YOUR ADVERTISEMENTS AND CHECKLIST ADAPT ACCORDINGLY!!

Somewhat Helpful. When the Knot is not crashing on me, it’s a decent app. As far as organizing goes, it’s been helpful in getting our wedding plans together in one place. My gripes? For one, I thought their RSVP system world aid in organizing who could make it to our rehearsal and who could not. So I set up for 12 recipients to receive an RSVP text. Little did I know, the Knot is only interested in giving you RSVP for your actual wedding date. If you are not seeing that up first, their system can’t help you. I tried sending out the RSVPs for the rehearsal which is 2 days before my wedding. Their system automatically overrode the official wedding date on the website with the rehearsal date. So I just changed all the dates back to the correct wedding date a date everyone to “attending” myself. The last thing I need is for this free service to tell my guests that our destination wedding is two days before it’s actual date. No thanks. Oh and 4/5 times that I open the app, it crashes after my first selection.

How to not forget everything.... I have been using the Knot since the being of our engagement and it has been the biggest help. I am a huge list person. I have a list for everything. If it’s not on the list, it doesn’t get done/bought/etc. It is so easy to use the guest list feature. You can track who you sent invites to, who are you received rsvps from and who you haven’t. All their person info can go in there too so you have there number on hand when they haven’t gotten back to you 6 days after the rsvp date. I also love the checklist. First, there are things that are automatically on there that I never even thought of. Second, it’s so customizable. Not having transportation? No problem. One swipe to delete “Finalize day of transportation”. Having a bridal party yoga bonding session? A few clicks and it’s added to the list. The checklist is broken down into months which was super helpful in not getting behind on things. And if you are still not convinced, go listen to the How I Built This podcast episode with the founders of The Knot. Their disaster wedding will be proof alone as why you should use it.

Saved my life literally. I am a very stressed person- To the point it makes me ill and I shut down often. I stress over every little thing, every minute of the day. If I forgot to stress about it in the day, it’ll come in a stress dream. When my fiancé proposed, I of course ecstatically said yes. But then came the stress- I had no idea how to start or where, but I also know being a perfectionist, I would be doing a lot of research and a lot of it myself or I’d go even crazier. I downloaded all the bridal apps I could find, but after a few months, the Knot was a clear winner. The customizable checklist is EVERYTHING. And the links in the item descriptions brought so much clarity to each point. The website is amazingly simple yet beautiful. The budget really set my mind straight in the beginning and helped me plan/save, since I was paying for everything myself. The app always works smoothly and has all the tools right in front of me whenever my mind decides there’s another thing to do. I was in the midst of a work merger, and family issues, and illnesses, so I am sure I would’ve truly lost my mind without this app. I felt like I was always one step ahead when it came to planning the wedding with this app. THANK YOU.

Great App But.... This is a fantastic app to get your wedding planning started. You can create a vision board, search for any kind of vendor possible, create a website, guest list, and a good bit more. However, i have come to find out with the app vs. the website on a computer it is a little more detailed on the computer. For example, looking at my vision board on the app it lumps all my photos together but on the website it automatically created “Reception” “Ceremony” “Flowers” and “Ideas & Favorites” categories that you can put the photos in. These categories are not visible on the app so if i ever add a photo from my phone i have to then go on the computer to put it in the right category. Also, definitely still use your normal search engine to look for venues. During my search there were quite a few that were either not listed on the app or had no photos to show but turned out to actually be nice and reputable venues after a google search. In general, definitely a great app to begin planning and stay organized but i would not make this your only source of wedding planning.

Love love love. I honestly love using this app! I am an EXTREMELY organized person and this app is perfect for me. It already had to do lists made and I was able to go in and edit them to fit what I needed. I will say, the lists were quite overwhelming at first but they are designed to be able to fit any bride who may be having a very extravagant wedding. I am having a moderately simple wedding so I deleted a lot of things from the list before I even started. Now it’s not so overwhelming and it’s very helpful. One thing that makes it a little more less scary is that it splits everything into months so there is more of a timeline instead of seeing everything I have to do at once. I love using the website too!! In fact, my save the date was very simple and modern with just a picture and a link to our website. The invitations will be a little more detailed but everything will direct people to our website for more information! I have a cute blog about our story and a photo timeline on our website as well. This app makes things a little less stressful and alot more fun!

Organized wedding planning at its finest!. When I became engaged, I immediately purchased the book for wedding planning by the knot. That was a very useful tool in getting started. In there, was the recommendation to use the app. I thought ok, useful to have it on the phone, I’ll check in with it as a backup and the book will be the main tool to use. I was wrong. The app makes it all easy to stay organized and helps with just every facet you can think of; and its for on the go; very easy to use on the phone. The reminders were my favorites and I loved checking them off as I progressed through the planning. For the most part, I used the app more than the book and t was great to have both. I felt in control of the planning and not stressedor worried because we worked on everything in a timely fashion, as recommended by you all!!! Thank you so much for the valued expert organizational tools! It was a beautiful wedding.

A MUST HAVE! And it’s free!. For all my friends getting married: Download “the knot” app on your phone and/or use their website on your computer. It has been ESSENTIAL to all my wedding planning. Unless you’re an expert on planning weddings (which most of us aren’t!), it will list everything you could possibly need to do up until your wedding date. It suggests deadlines of what you need to complete each month, gives vendor suggestions, let’s you track your budget, and build a free website for your guests to look up information, and even rsvp on if you choose to do online, etc etc. It was even super easy to do my day-of timeline. I honestly would have been lost without this. I like having paper in my hand so I also printed the check list just to have it. So, if you have basically no idea what you’re doing or where to start, use The Knot. If someone hadn’t told me about it then I would have never known or had as “smooth” of a planning process.

Great Planning Tool. I have loved using the knot so far on my mobile device because it is truly such a breeze. It felt impossible to research vendors before having the knot to assist in making it possible, and being able to access reviews and portfolios as well. The areas for improvement would for sure be on the laptop/desktop usability as well as the iPad experience. On an iPad, you can’t see the vendors reviews or even company names when browsing different categories without clicking on the photo in the master list first. I I have a 2020 iPad Pro, so there is no lack of software or screen size causing this issue. It makes finding high rated vendors slightly more difficult or even staying away from lower rated ones. I also wish they explained their inexpensive/moderate/high etc pricing guide with more ranges. Other than a few technical components, this app truly is great and I’ve loved the countdown tracker, being able to reach out to vendors, and read reviews from real brides and grooms!

Really like this app. I really like this app it’s very thorough on everything for people planning for a wedding. But it does show a lot of more expensive places to hold a wedding and these places do pay to be on these sites. If you are looking for to be on a smaller budget like I am. I chose to do some offsite looking and using Facebook groups and marketplace and local advice to help me find some great deals for the date I was needing such as the venue and DJ as well reception. Which I totally found off of a wedding expo I visited and ended up being perfect. Because in my city the average venue was 5k-10k and it was just was out of my budget and my fiancé I was not wanting to just spend that on a venue. So do your research do use your resources outside of the knot as well. The knot is great. But just realize it does not show everything out there. I was personally burned by 2 vendors on here through the knot. So be careful sometimes the ads they advertise have some hidden fees you won’t even know until signing papers.

A Planner’s Dream. I do not know what I would have done without The Knot app & planner. I have found and booked the venue, band, dj, photographer, cake and officiant through The Knot. Reading reviews and having a one stop shop to compare prices takes away the headache of planning a wedding. My fiancé enjoys looking through the venue list and we are both very avid planners because of our profession so we enjoy crossing items off our checklist. Its so user friendly and let me tell you how easy it is to build your wedding website! I was able to add my guest list so they can rsvp and even add a honeymoon fund link. According to my checklist I am way ahead of my planning timeline...oh yes ladies this app reminds you what you should be working on before the big day. I am a year away and have already checked off many things off my list. I am a teacher so during the school year I hardly have time to do anything that does not involve teacher duties but the fact that I have been able to plan this far tells you how much help this app has been (all my teachers out there understand what Im trying to say). I highly recommend!

Amazing Program. The knot provides so much useful information from having a wedding checklist to developing a website and so much more. The website provides general information that you may need, but you can eliminate it if you don’t need it and add topics that may be beneficial for you. The knot also has ways of connecting with vendors such as photographers as well as beauticians. One adjustment could be trying to update it based on smaller towns since I’m in Wyoming it didn’t have as many options which is understandable. Also the website you couldn’t create your own template yet, but hopefully that may be an option in the future. The checklist was super beneficial and based on the type of planning that you may need as an individual whether you need specific help or generalized help. I was also able to eliminate what I may not need, so those options wouldn’t appear later on in the checklist. They also had useful forms that described more on specific subjects such as an emergency wedding day kit and what to include in it. There was so much information that helped me along the way as I went, and I loved the positive feedback whenever I marked something as complete. I was also able to create a registry onto my website with a cash fund for guests to place funds for our wedding. This was super beneficial and helped to create the unique Harry Potter wedding that I wanted. Thank you 😊

Honest review. The app is good. However, it needs to be updated to meet better technological standing. For instance, when uploading a guest list via the spread sheet method, it should not allow duplicates to come up. It should promp the system to tell us certain guests are already on the list. Also, the app and on computer version of the editing portion does not coincide whatsoever. You would try to edit something you did on the computer and it will be okay but the moment you try to edit it on the phone, you may end up losing it and it would mess up the order. For instance, when you put your guest list and you have more than one event, and the person is invited to one and not the other, on the phone it deletes the whole guest info which you have to go back to put in on the computer. The app is old school it needs to be on social media detailing. I honestly like this site for the timeline organization and the free website, and the fact that it allows you to input two events. Still needs upgrade though.

Pretty Good Overall. The Knot’s app is user-friendly and connects smoothly with the web version. In comparison with other wedding planning apps, I think it’s the best one out there. Other apps are glitchy and contains outdated vendor reccs. I like that The Knots suggests timeline events based on your wedding date, but some of the dates seem incorrect. With Covid wedding makeups still backlogged, finding certain venues/vendors can be pretty competitive and need to be booked ASAP instead of ~4 months out like the app suggests. My other suggestion would be to add a feature where you can add a note to yourself for vendors/venues you’ve favorited. Just a way to keep track of things like their price point, what they offer, etc. And my last suggestion would be a way to send The Knot feedback on outdated vendor/venue information. A lot of times price points had changed, websites were either not listed or broken links, or the company does not exist anymore and it would be nice to have a way to send in that info so it can be updated. But overall the app is incredibly helpful and it’s free!

The best wedding planning app!. I first started with Zola but switched over to The Knot when I found out that I could look for vendors and message them directly through the app. I could also make a website/have a checklist/guest list etc. so it sounded like the more reasonable choice. I think the best part for me so far has been the fact that photographers have gotten back to me right away (day of or day after) through the app. I didn’t have to give much personal information like I would on their website and the conversation was quick and painless. After several failed attempts to get in touch with independent photographers through their website (it’s like they don’t want to photograph for us unless we are willing to pester them about it!) over the course of weeks, my fiancé and I were able to reserve a photographer within days of starting this app. It perfectly fits in with our budget too, since The Knot offers filter options on the search to help find the right price range. We will definitely be using it right up until our wedding day, and I will recommend it to any future couples!

His Queen. I’ve never done this before, so it’s a bit overwhelming. I wished he was sitting next to me now so we could plan this together. He knows everything about me, meanwhile I was learning you....I was hit with a huge surprise and now I feel like I have to be more observant and learning you al over again will it be too tough, because I’ve already fallen in love with my soulmate. I could live my entire life without any of this, because without you, it means nothing. The past few days have been stressful to the max. I’ve wanted to give up, throw my iPad. I’ve felt angry, sick, and mainly....alone. My depression is growing. I know I came about “ US” the wrong way, but my love has always been 1000! You are the other part of me. When it’s dark, you bring upon light, when it’s raining, you are my umbrella. I have never felt so alive and complete until I met you joey and that is REAL! I love u and can not wait to start the next chapter of my life with you. A special Thank you goes out to “The Knot”!! As you can see, I have too much going on and this app is a huge blessing to me and I’m sure my soon to be husband also.

Provides great resources. I love so much about this app but I wish certain things were working properly to love it even more. I have not been using the app very long but from what I’ve been able to use so far, I think it is a great tool to plan a beautiful wedding. I love that the app provides resources, such as venues nearby with the option to search, the venues have ratings and reviews, pictures, virtual tours, some have price ranges, and all the I formation needed to book a tour. Other resources are photographers, DJs, caterers, and so much more to have the options in case you have no idea where to go to book someone near you. I also love that the app provides you with a planning timeline with deadlines. It provides deadlines for planning month to month which is so valuable to someone like me that is not a natural planner and is does not know where to start or end. You can also take a style quiz to get a feel, and begin an Inspiration board, of what you may want your wedding to look like. It may not be 100% accurate but you can adjust it accordingly. My reasoning for only giving the app 4 stars instead of 5, is that there is an inspiration board you can create but it is not working properly. It will not allow me to add inspiration pictures nor link my Pinterest. That saddens me because I would love to keep everything in one place and I love the idea of sharing that board with those helping with the planning process.

A COVID-19 brides Dream. The Knot was so helpful when it can to planning to begin with, since I am a disorganized mess. But it was particularly helpful once COVID-19 hit and we had to change our plans from 150 guests to 22. I never was the girl to dream about my wedding details, dress, or where it was going to be. So having to do that all TWICE was a nightmare. The knot has timelines for details you don’t necessarily think about, great articles to help you figure out what your doing so that you don’t offend anybody, and reliable resources for finding vendors. I especially like that The Knot doesn’t send me spam emails either! The apps always worked well and didn’t have glitches. It’s also extremely user friendly! The best part is that you can use what you want from it, there is not “requirement” to complete one thing before being able to use another resource or feature. I wish I had a life version of this app not just a wedding version!

Great! Very organized!. I preferred using WeddingWire to search for venders just because of the layout. That’s just a personal preference, however The Knot has everything else just about perfect. I used the guest list to figure out who to invite, and the wedding website for my fiancé and I made it SO easy for the guests to RSVP. It for real takes less than 30 seconds to RSVP and we can immediately see who accepted or declined. It’s so helpful! The links to the registry are great also. I’ve been recommending this to my engaged friends ever since. Honestly, I even think the app works better than the website sometimes too. (Maybe it’s operator error, but on my app I can see who has declined/accepted the RSVP in its own section, but the website, I have to scroll through the entire list of names to see what they’ve decided, you can’t click on “declined” and see who all said no. It doesn’t separate it. But the app is really user friendly so I’m a fan. No complaints!)

A very well organized app. When I started planning my wedding, I had no idea what to do. This app has been instrumental in the process of planning. The Knot has thought of everything, and designed a very smart app to incorporate it all. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by planning, but the app’s checklist function helps break the process down into manageable tasks with customizable deadlines to keep you on track. The guest list function is phenomenal, allowing you to keep track of who’s who and has an rsvp tracker which is excellent, especially when used in conjunction with the website rsvp feature. The website builder does everything it needs to do, and offers a modern way to get the details out to your guests. It also has a registry feature so you can connect your various registries or even add a cash fund. Speaking of money, the app has a budget tracker which is top notch. A girl could do all this stuff and keep track with excel spreadsheets, but why go through the trouble when the Knot has this great application? All in all, I highly recommend using the app, even if you don’t plan on using every function.

Nice app but needs some more love and care. My primary issues with the app are largely with the navigation and aspect ratio & differences between portrait and landscape. On an iPad at least, regardless of the orientation, I often find it difficult to press the back button to see other venues or switch to a different tab. Rather than a dedicated button to go back, why not just swipe to go back to the other sheet? The layout is quite beautiful in portrait mode however, when switching to landscape the app zooms in way too close to the pictures and so you have to scroll or zoom out to see everything. It would be nice if there was just an elegant black border to maintain the photos correct aspect ratio. I’m also having trouble accessing my saved venues in the Home tab. I see the venues tab and it shows me the number of saved venues. However, when I go to click them it sends me to suggested venues. Additionally, it seems that the saved venues on my iPhone are somehow not showing up on my iPad, which is strange. Lastly, I really don’t understand how this got past QAQC but presumably marriage requires at least two people and the fact that there isn’t a share your wedding option with your fiancé is strange, we should not have to coordinate logging in and logging out of the app in 2024. Make a great product and you’ll make all the money you need.

Wedding Planned!. This was extremely helpful with keeping the guest list organized. I gave my parents (of the bride) my password so the constantly had access to my guest and vendor list. Nothing is better than the efficiency of everyone in your family being on the same page. This made sending out save the dates, invitations, and (if you kept up with the “gift section as you received them) thank you notes. The wedding website was AMAZING! I personalizes the link so it could fit on invitations and everyone loved it. It was so easy to make it elegant and personalized. My brother and his fiancé used the same app after my glowing recommendations. So did our cousins. This is seriously the way to go with wedding organization. And don’t get me started on how easy it was for everyone to find our registry because it’s simplified on this site. It was amazing. To be able to look back months later on who was able to attend the engagement party vs the wedding and to have all of the addresses and information saved has been amazing and gave us an opportunity to send out our photo booth photos from the wedding as little gifts. This was an invaluable tool and I don’t think I would have got through this stressful ordeal without it.

Best Wedding Planner!. I have used the Knot for about two years now in planning my wedding. With date changes, changes in wedding styles, and vendors, the Knot still made it so easy to use and changed the dates automatically for when things should be done. It was nice that even with date changes, I didn’t have to create new accounts because I have already checked some things off and dates were different (this happened with other wedding planners). The Knot is also wonderful in keeping everything together for styles, websites, registries, vision board and all the essentials of wedding planning. With the Knot, I can keep all of my guests in one spot with their email, phone number and address right there. I can also put in if I sent the invite, if I received the RSVP and the response of it, what meal they chose (if applicable), the gift they gave me, and any notes I had about them. The checklist was also so detailed and hit everything I needed, but also had the option to add items to the checklist myself if I needed them. I highly recommend the Knot, as I have tried using other wedding planning sites, but this is the only one that made it so easy with EVERYTHING in one place!

Convenient features but they never work. The app offers a lot of convenient features however they’re only convenient if they actually work. The app & desktop site are soooo glitchy & there’s a new part of the app/site that’s down literally every day. One a couple weeks ago, my entire guest list disappeared for a whole day on the day I planned to address my Save the Dates. Then there was the problem with the photos tab freezing every time I tried to upload our pictures. Then there was the formatting issues with the “Our Story” section where no matter how many times I went on my desktop & manually added spaces between paragraphs, it still just showed up as one big block of writing. Now it’s the registry tab not syncing my registries & putting all my gifts into one place on the site like it’s supposed to. Not to mention, it isn’t completely user friendly especially if you have older guests trying to use it (i.e. older parents, grandparents & such). There’s a lot of things that your guests can completely miss if they don’t know to actually click or scroll all the way down to the very bottom. All in all, definitely A+ for some good ideas but an almost complete fail in execution. Wish I could give a better review.

Great app but feels like it’s in its beginning stages. Gives you a guide of what the basics of your wedding should be (dj, planner, make up artist, etc) but it doesn’t have a search button on the main home screen. If you message someone you can only check from the home screen if you have a notification, then the conversation disappears from the home screen. If you want to resend something or view recent conversations you have to go into the certain section (ie; if you wanna look up your florist conversation you have to go into the florist section, find the profile of the florist and then you can click view conversation). You also can’t view all conversations with everyone you have had with every vendor like Instagram or Facebook. Also if a certain vendor hasn’t had a review in the app it’s like the vendor doesn’t exist. They should have a questionnaire in the beginning to get into more detail (destination wedding? Mountain wedding? Barn wedding? How big how small the wedding is? Budget?) I think if they got into detail the search wouldn’t be so hard for the user. I am having a small wedding and everything they suggested had 150+ people, buffet style, etc.

RSVP could use some work. I love using this site but I’ve had a ton of people have a difficult time RSVPing on the site. They find it to be confusing. You have to write your names in then click yes or no and then click on the check mark. A lot of the guests do not know that they need to click the check mark after clinking yes or no and I am getting a lot of requests to do it for them. The reason I built the wedding webpage was so that I didn’t have to worry about doing anything but now I have had to add 15 names so far and only 5 people have figured out that they have to click the check mark after RSVPing. I have 120 guests who haven’t replied yet and I’m guessing they are having the same issues so I’m going to have to personally reach out to everyone to gather the RSVP. I suggest for the site to make it very basic saying “place your names here and respond yes or no” and that is all they need to do instead of clicking yes or no and then having to click the check mark.

Great. It’s my favorite in terms of planning my wedding. It’s great to check things off your list, manage vendors and guest list, and the website is pretty. I wish when my guest go to put their name in, the site will pull up any name similar and a partial address because a lot of people weren’t able to find their name or people have the same last name (there are even people with the same first and last, go figure) and they’re marking the wrong rsvp. Other than that I’ve had a pretty great experience. The app is very easy to use and I tried several different app and ultimately stuck with this. Also, adding registries was pretty simple. It may take a few days for them to upload to the site but eventually it’ll show up. Now for discussions I do use a different app as I’ve found it easier (WeddingWire) who is owned by the knot so it works out. I suggest trying each app and seeing what works best of for you and your needs.

RECOMMEND FOR EVERYONE! Easy to use!. This was so easy to use and figure out. I used this app because I was struggling with my invites and RSVP’s. There was so much more involved than I had ever imagined and with the mail not being as accurate as it use to be, I decided to look into the knot. I am so happy I did! So easy and helpful! All of my guests were able to navigate our wedding website easily. I was able to put pictures of us and stories. Our registry was also on their and there was also an option for just a cash fund! How cool! We added a cash fund for “Honeymoon” and I bet most of our guests contributed to that rather than purchasing a gift. We had our menu options on our website too because our venue requested totals before the event. The meals were so easy to add and guests could also send a note to us. It was super easy. Anytime we got an acceptance or decline we were notified, and anytime someone contributed to our registry or cash fund I was notified. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I would recommend to everyone for ANY event!

Good concept if it worked. When you’re getting married, you constantly hear about the knot. While I love it for advice and all their info, as a planning app...USE A DIFFERENT APP/SITE FOR YOUR WEDDING PAGE AND SAVE YOURSELF COUNTLESS HOURS OF TIME, STRESS, AND FRUSTRATION. As a bride, you can get very stressed. This app/site adds tremendously to that stress. Something is always not working. I am constantly having to add things back on or re-delete things. Things will disappear and then reappear later very often. If you delete something, it will look like it is gone and then come back. I had to add on my registries over and over. Guests are constantly calling and asking about where we’re registered or why they can’t find their name on the guest list! I had to make an entire other spreadsheet with everything I needed in case something was deleted or put back on that shouldn’t be. Huge hassle. I say go with a different site for your wedding page. If they fix the numerous “glitches”, this would be a wonderful app/site. I am sure all sites/apps have a few glitches but I have never used one that have this many. For reference, I also made a WeddingWire site and that has had no issues.

Online website/phone app & rsvp. Great website for wedding planning! Downloaded the app & it’s also great! 2 Big things i didn’t and continue to dislike is — i entered manually all my 300+ guests name & contact information on the website through my laptop which was no issue! I then started to use the app on my iPhone & noticed that there was either no address nor the couples name/plus one, for some reason i was able to see the names & address on my lap top but not my phone app, which made it double the work having to re enter all 300+ guest on top of addresses. The app is super slow, but also any changes/edits made on the wedding website don’t update on the phone app! The app is super slow. Otherwise everything else is good. Though, it should have an option & different section for those guest who were invited to dinner (example: accepts / can’t make it to dinner) and those who were not invited to dinner (ex - Accepts / declines will be there for the party) since not all 300 of my guess were invited for dinner that’s what made it hard.

Amazing wedding planning app. Two of my friends used The Knot for their wedding planning and recommended the site to me as I had no idea where to start with wedding planning besides finding my venue. This app and the website was so helpful with wedding planning and made the process much less stressful (although wedding planning IS definitely super stressful lol). The fact it is a free site is absolutely incredible since weddings are extremely expensive as is. The site allowed you to search for vendors in any category you needed, allowed you to keep track of your budget and how much you have spent, create a wedding vision if you had or wanted one, create a guest list and have everyone RSVP online (which I did not do but others did and they said it was easy to do), and had month to month checklists for you to accomplish which was extremely helpful. Making my wedding website and then my wedding registry was not hard using the app either. I would recommend using the knot for wedding planning for anyone who may need help during the process, especially if you aren’t hiring a wedding planner to help you during the process; which I did not as I could not afford to do so. Can’t recommend the app enough!

Horrible Site & App Since they Updated Logo. I have no idea what’s happened since they decided to change their logo, but literally the entire app is worthless. My wedding is in November and I’ve come very far with vendors and building the website and registry and now I’m literally afraid to update anything because I’m afraid my work won’t be saved. I have most all vendors booked and in the app when I click the vendor management it only shows a vendor as “checked” if they’re a vendor you can search for on The Knot’s list. If it was someone I inputted, it says “get started” which wasn’t the case before and actually what’s more frustrating is that all that vendor information I inputted is still there, it just doesn’t recognize the vendor is booked. The website seems to work better with the vendor management. Also using the checklist I feel like the app and website are not reading each other. If I check something off in the app it still shows up if you go to the website on a PC. This is such a great planning tool and this is coming from someone who started on Zola and made the move to the Knot. However, maybe the app / site developers could do a better job testing and actually work out all the issues before the site decided to change their logo. Which BTW is absolutely hideous. They should go back to using the old style and color scheme. I keep hoping things get fixed with each update, but I see absolutely nothing has changed.

Best wedding planning App. This app has been wonderful to work with! I’ve mainly only used it for guests lists and managing RSVP’s but that alone makes the whole app worth it in my opinion! The only thing I had difficulty with was not being able to change the RSVP deadline. My wedding is May 22 and the app wouldn’t let me set the deadline to any earlier than May 1st. The one other thing was you can’t choose to send rsvp reminders via text to a few people and via email to another group, you have to choose either one or the other OR you can choose both (I think). If you use the website to do this it will show you who responded to your text reminder whereas the app doesn’t do that but that makes total sense. There is always more function ability though a web browser verses an app. All together SUPER great experience. I highly recommend the knot and their app to anyone!

Helpful, but can be better. The Knot is a GREAT planning tool! So many vendors and great offers. I love how it’s so all-in-one with vision, contacts, vendor searches, budget, etc etc! My critiques are more to do with the functionality of the app itself. Some pages/items load very slowly or not at all. Some links you tap and it just shows you a 404 message. I wish I had access to blogs/articles/tips on the app instead of going into the site on my browser. Regarding the website builder, I feel like the user should get feedback messages on why a function is disabled or a change doesn’t occur. For example, I didn’t want my wedding date repeated 3 times on my website preview, so i tried removing the date from the website options, but I figured out when I did that, I removed it from my whole wedding profile! No “Are you sure? This will remove your date from your entire Knot profile” or anything. In the same vein, I wish the website builder was a bit more customizable as far as the blocks of info. Certain items just cannot be turned off, and it’s a little confusing what counts as an “Event” and why there HAS to be at least 1 event listed. I can’t delete them either. A description would be helpful to know what info fits best where! I’d also like to customize my registry so the cash funds appear first. I named our registry link “Registry & Funds” so hopefully at least people are aware they’re there! Anyway, great tool, but definitely could be smoother!!

Wish it was customizable. I don’t know if the problem is that I am using the phone app rather than the full website or if there is some sort of paid upgrade that would resolve these issues, or maybe this app just isn’t ideal for those on a modest budget. For one thing, we know our wedding colors, but on the app, it seems that we can only identify a general color scheme. Second, we have almost all our vendors selected, but I couldn’t enter them in the app unless they popped up in the search options. (We are planning a small wedding, so some of our vendors are friends or small local businesses that don’t appear in the search options.) Finally, the vision/inspiration boards seem difficult and not very helpful. I was just hoping to keep all my vendors’ contact info in one place and maybe put together some inspiration pictures of my choosing based on my colors. Perhaps the problem is just user error; maybe these features exist and I just haven’t figured out how to use them. That still seems like a problem to me, though. I think I’m going to delete this one in the meantime.

Decent app but not as user friendly as many think. At first I loved this app and the desktop website (easier to type quickly). After some use I found it to not be as user friendly as I first thought. There were several times where I was going in circles trying to find a specific part of my wedding details which became most aggravating. I’d recommend better, more intuitive navigation tools. One other MAJOR complaint... my wedding needed to be postponed due to Covid and website updates are not sending to guests who had already rsvp’d. Further, you can only send an email blast to those who have provided an email address, which is only about 5 guests who do that nowadays. Almost every other guest left their cell number for updates but there is no way to send a text blast. Very frustrated because in addition to the other inconveniences of rescheduling a wedding, now I need to find a way to communicate quick updates to my guests which most likely will be individually. Not happy about this at all. Considering changing altogether to Zola.

Great tool to help stay organized, has a couple limitations, though. I used this app for my daughter’s wedding! While it was mostly adaptable for our specific needs, it did not have very many suggested vendors for our local area! Most were big cities miles and miles away with a huge price tag! The app had just a few glitches (some parts of the check list were difficult to edit and when we tried to manually add the event location on the webpage, it would not save it) Also, we tried to go old school at the wedding with a Polaroid photo guest book as we’d seen that done before but the rain put a damper on that idea as guests were having to wait in the rain for that. It got pushed aside so we didn’t get a guest book. That being said, it would be nice to have the capability of allowing guests to be able to upload photos to a digital guestbook on the couple’s webpage, either on the wedding day or afterwards. There’s other apps for that but it would be more convenient to have it all here! (And I did try using “The Guest” app but no one seemed interested in figuring it out and the free version was limited) There is the capability to “send a note to the couple” under the RSVP on The Knot but no way to upload a photo as far as I can tell. I did add a guest book title to the webpage but only a manager can upload a photo and edit. Others can only view it. Overall it’s great to help stay organized and gives helpful time line suggestions and tips!

Great site for personal planning. I started using The Knot as a paperless way to do three things. 1. Track my progress while planning for our wedding. 2. Keep my guests informed about the wedding weekend events and details. and 3. Send my guests save the dates and invites. The Knot is great for the first two but I was very disappointed to learn that they don’t have a feature for the third. You can’t send emails to guests from the website, it takes copying and pasting into your own email or another option like paperless post which is an inconvenient addition step. Positively, The Knot offers a variety of templates for your wedding website and walks you though all the details you may not have thought about and what dates you should be finishing each step. We’ve found it really helpful so far especially with informing guests of hotel accommodations and fun things to do in the city while they’re in town. The Knot allows guests to rsvp to separate events too! Our wedding is on a Saturday and we’re having a casual bonfire on Friday night. Guests are able to rsvp for one or both. In general a helpful wedding planning tool.

Not Shareable. I haven’t done much more than search for venues. It’s all a bit overwhelming and I thought there’d be an option to share my list of saved vendors to my friends so they could help. This isn’t an option. Now I’m trying to change my password to something I don’t use so my friends can log into my account and this is proving impossible. I’m not a tech guru but I definitely am well enough to not be having such an issue to change my password. Additionally, the venues don’t note what the pictures are representative of. It’s just a hodgepodge of images that make it hard to understand what the overall space is. I’m having to use background clues to place where the bar is, the entrance, where the DJ sets up, etc. Dance floor is important for me personally and most don’t have pictures to represent the full size of the dance space either. This isn’t necessarily the app’s issue but it’s affecting my over all experience. And sure I could go to the website (which almost always has sparse information and just prompts you to contact them for more info) but so many venues don’t have an attached link. How do we make the bulk of the wedding planning the groom’s job? I’m having no fun planning this :P

Everything wedding, Endless content, pro tips & organization. Everything you could possibly think of for wedding preparation and through the first year of marriage. I find the information relevant, up to date, and the professional know how they share is valuable information. The articles are interesting and timely based on the stage of planning I’m in. I trust The Knot and enjoy the magazine too. I especially like the checklist reminders. The only thing I would make others aware of is that I almost immediately noticed some of the best venues and vendors are not promoted or even available on the site. I wasn’t sure where we initially wanted to get married so I was researching places from my hometown where I grew up as well as my current area, which I am not as familiar with. Immediately I started realizing some of the most charming places weren’t showing up in searches or “best of”. I can’t be sure of the reason, but I presume it is related to $$ ...some may advertise and therefore get promoted on The Knot kind of like a preferred vendors or they may have built relationships with certain venues. As long as you are aware there are multiple resources out there, your wedding plans will come together beautifully. On The Knot, It’s all in one spot. I would say overall The Knot makes the planning organized, simple and fun!

Best app for vendor suggestions!. I've tried 3 different apps so far, and although I still use all 3 for various things, this one is the one I find myself using the most. It's extremely user friendly and gives the largest selection of vendor suggestions I've seen. It's also very simple to request more info from each vendor through the app. The vendors respond quickly to my requests, and the communication thread is kept organized by vendor type and all in one spot, so I'm not losing it in my massive email inbox. My only suggestion is to make the app easier to use dually with my fiance. He works in a professional where he is away from home quite a bit, and it would be nice if we could link together and use it together. This way he can see who I'm considering, who I've spoken with and vice versa. It also would be nice when creating the budget and guest list. It would be great if our apps were linked together to be able to add suggestions together when we aren't necessarily able to sit down together and discuss it.

Glitchy & the website and app don’t work together well. All the benefits of using The Knot have been so helpful with getting my wedding planned, but I’m so disappointed with how glitchy it is and how the website is so different from the app. If I only used one or the other I’m sure it wouldn’t be as big of a deal, but there are qualities of the website I prefer and vice versa. It also takes awhile to load every time you click on a new section in the app. One particular frustration I’m experiencing right now is that for no apparent reason my fiancé’s “Friends” category emptied itself and out all those guests back under Ungrouped. This wouldn’t be such an issue if it didn’t take ten seconds to load after clicking through each name and switching the group back. Not only that, but once it’s updated the Ungrouped category disappears from Guest List page and I can’t view those guests until I click into another section and come back. For every single guest. It’s been infinitely frustrating and since the website and app aren’t cohesive (there aren’t groups on the website, only households) I can’t do this anywhere but my phone.

Glitchy. I really like that there is a lot that you can do from the app. However it glitches a lot. Multiple duplicate messages, missing messages from/to vendors. When I “heart” a vendor sometimes it stays sometimes it disappears. Which is very annoying. When you make changes, it either takes awhile to update or doesn’t at all. It is however nice to have almost everything in one place. I do like the concept. I would be nice to have an option where both my fiancé and I could collaborate together from different places. We take turns doing communicating with vendors. Mostly because we have different work schedules and it does help when we aren’t together to get things done. As well as it allows both of us to ask questions that we may have. Only problem is, think it would be helpful to the vendor to know which of us is talking. Rather than trying to cater to one person who appears to have multiple personalities. Aside from the above and navigating the different areas could could be improved, I do like the app overall. The glitches though…. When you’re a tad stressed…. 😣

The most fun I’ve had!. This app really became my companion in wedding planning. All of the tools especially the checklist and timeline, are so helpful and easy to use. There are a lot of details I would’ve missed had it not been for the knot. The interface is intuitive and addicting. I live opening the app to see what tasks I can check off. Anytime I had technical issues they were very responsive and fixed this issue in a matter of days. As a black bride, I was disappointed with the selection of beauty vendors(that’s more of a regional problem) that was a bit discouraging. The hotel blocking website isn’t very user friendly so I ended up going directly through the hotels to find room blocks. Maybe ditch the third party app and just offer hotels in proximity to the wedding venue we can contact. It would feel more personalized and easier to access. One thing I do wish they had was a marketplace. place to buy and sell decor or other items for the wedding. Overall I’ve really enjoyed The Knot. I’m gonna be kind of sad once My wedding is over and I have no excuse to use the app.

The Knot is a Game Changer!. When I got engaged late last year, I was so excited but also my mind was going in different directions, “how do we start planning?”, “when do we do this?”, “do we do that?”, etc etc. my fiancé and I were really naive about the whole planning department of our new journey, so (like I always do), I turned to Google. I simply typed in “wedding planning”. There were LOADS of websites listed one after the other but there was one that caught my eye. I clicked on The Knot and the sign up was so simple, that’s the first thing I liked about it. As soon as I signed up, which took seconds, I was relieved to notice that everything that has anything to do with a wedding or just engagement, it was all right there, already organized, all our job was- to look through each section and start picking what we liked! They have a section where they automatically count your guest list for you, to do lists for each little thing that has a due date already there for you, AND you get to be in contact with hopeful venues and get to book at the same time!!!! I really don’t know where or how far along I’d be without The Knot, I started using the app on my phone and it’s become my best wedding coordinator! I really cannot rave enough about this website! It really has changed the game!

Honestly the best app out there for Wedding planning. After trying Wedding Wire/Zola/etc I settled on the knot, it is SO incredibly user friendly, instantly uploads edits to the website, tying in the registries is seamless, the tools and advice/tips are extremely accessible and beneficial. It even helped me find some vendors for my wedding and the messaging app is awesome! The other sites are good too but the knot has everything you could want in one place. The only thing I haven’t liked is the limitations on editing the budget from the app (can’t edit the projected cost just the actual cost) and also when I accidentally mark something complete on the checklist I can’t find it to “uncheck” it.. or the ability to add my own item on the checklist. But I just use the notes section and these are not huge issues.. Thank you for helping me keep my self together, especially since I have an 8 month engagement and need all the help I can get! 💕 5 stars

Like but not love. This is a great app, the wedding planner and budgeter is great I am not a big “pinner” on Pinterest but the vision board is a cute touch. I don’t feel the quizzes are very accurate and I don’t like that it forces you to pick things for the vision board. It was a tiny hassle to figure out how to manually update it. A few suggestions, maybe on the dashboard you could have like a list of things already picked out. Like a picture of the rings and a picture of the dress and the listing for the venue. For the budget page, I’m not a mathematician, maybe you could add a column in the budget screen so you can add an amount to your running total for each item so I don’t have to add it myself and re-input. Large room for error. Also, I’m looking for an all inclusive wedding and the options for the listings don’t let you select one if you have already decided on the venue. Also, the ceremony and reception will be at the same place, I wish I could see all the things I have already completed or decided put together so I feel a little more accomplished. Other than that great app! Definitely recommend!

Completely customizable planning at your fingertips. Planning a wedding of any size is no small feat! The Knot app has been stellar at offering comprehensive, user-friendly solutions for: additions or changes to the guest list, along with contact info and RSVP tracking; an easy-to-use budgeter where you can adjust costs and categories; a FREE customizable wedding website; an editable checklist/day-of timeline...I could go on and on! With the exception of building the wedding website, most of the app is very mobile-responsive and data can be entered right from your phone. The full range of features are available online from a larger device and the transition is seamless to the app. I also like how the vendor/affiliate listings are not constantly popping up as ads, but quick to find if you need suggestions or help. The crashes are rare but inconvenient—there was one point where the app wouldn’t open for weeks, but I just went online to continue the planning process. If you don’t have access to a larger device it may be a slight challenge to do things like embed the registries to the wedding website or export your guest list & contact info as a spreadsheet. Overall I’m loving the UX and everyone is amazed at how far ahead in the planning I am (still 4 months out) Thank you to The Knot for this great resource!!!

Great App. Had everything I need! Easy to use and effective planning tool!

Impossible to send out invites automatically. I really wish someone would have told me not to use theknot. You finish adding everything on the website including guest list only to find out there is no automatic way to send invitations and it all has to be done manually. It’s pretty much 2020 and you would think they have kept up with technology

For USA residents only. Basic list can be used universally but you can’t add or list any vendors or services that aren’t within the American United States. Can not alter pre suggested items to have a more personalized meaning. You have to delete and then type out your own new suggestion. Ex. Ceremony musicians; Reception DJ; cocktail hour DJ…..shouldn’t be 3 separate things. Most people will have 1 to cover the day. Dates of activities are easily altered to give yourself more time. Like addressing and mailing invites to give more time than just 1 mth to receive and RSVP to if you’re really wanting the guest to be available. Especially if the guest lives farther away or wedding is done at a time most people will already have made plans (like summer).

Easy and organized. Easy and organized

Loving it. I recently got engaged and I'm all about perfection and organization. I tried multiple wedding planner apps but this was the best by far. It’s easy to navigate, you don’t have to pay for anything, and there’s no ads. You can add your wedding date as well as make and connect your wedding website. I would definitely recommend this app.

Wedding planning. It’s the best app to use while planning your dream wedding. It has so many tools that was very helpful. Creating a website was so easy. The only downside that I had was sending messages to all my guests, some of them didn’t receive the website link to RSVP, some of them received 6-7 messages after replying to the RSVP saying “ We got your message! Replies will be available for the couple to see.” But other than that it’s a very good app to use while planning your wedding.

Glitches & Slow. As I input names onto my guest list the app progressively gets slower with ever new add. To the point where the text is lagging so far behind my typing. Also glitches when trying to save new questions. I have the newest update too.

??????. VERY glitchy… won’t save my progress. Won’t let me set up RSVPs… super annoying.

Just. Keeps. Crashing.. I appreciate what The Knot offers - great resources, great templates for a site and invitations, lots of great content for wedding planning. The website often states to use the app, however, when I use the app it frequently crashes. I mean most of the time I try to use it. The website templates need some work because a lot of formatting is just not possible, so the website looks like a word dump. Please offer languages beyond English. It’s so difficult to try to cater to a guest lists with various language requirements. But the crashing! Lots of crashing. Save content frequently or write it elsewhere and copy and paste into the app so you have the content.

Glitches and loss of progress. I am having nothing but issues w this app. Can’t even use it, bc it is constantly glitching and loosing my progress “Oops something went wrong” is a message I see a lot. Not user friendly as a result

Love this app!. So easy to use, manage and free. No complaints

Mr. Great app

App doesn’t communicate with website, deleted all my work. Useless, the sheets don’t print. The information doesn’t save. I don’t know why people are rating this app so well. It has to be bots because this is sooooo disappointing.

Great App - but I’m Canadian. I spent a few hours detailing and organizing the perfect wedding invitations only to find out they don’t ship to Canada?! Other than that, the app and website has been great at keeping me on tracking and using all of their digital resources!

It’s not loading anything. Not loading any vendors for any category on the app or website. Updated and everything. Wedding is in 2025 in Calgary - no reason why nothing is showing up

Glitches but still useful. I’m currently planning my wedding and using this mainly for the wedding website. On my computer I can navigate the site just fine and it saves my edits. The app does not. I tried changing the design, updating dates, it always reverts back to the original. For our purposes it will do the job, but the app needs work.

Very convenient!. I used The Knot to make our wedding website, and it’s nice to have the app if I want to add or edit things quickly.

Enjoyed it. This app is great to stay organized and get ideas together. It’s quite useful for staying on track and keeping to timelines. I enjoy being able to keep track of all my guests RSVPs and other notes about them such as allergies and what not... however, it is American based so signing up for a money fund registry is only recognized through American accounts. The app glitches out sometimes and needs to be shut down and has to re enter addresses and information quite a few times and it seemed to fix itself over time but was quite a lengthy process because of it. My overall experience was quite nice and I would definitely recommend it. Especially if you are a visual organizer this will work wonders to check off your to dos! Also Canadian addresses can be tricky to input.

No Canadian options. The app is awesome with great options to give structure to your plans, it’s also easy to use. If you don’t know where to start to plan your wedding, this will give you lots of ideas and the overall of a wedding planning, however if you don’t live in the USA you won’t find venues or any other service from other countries. It would be great to see it expand their data base and find options for different countries. Overall I like it and I’m using it as an aid more than as my actual planner.

Poorly executed. This thing is not intuitive at all. They hide extra website features in another tab. I get no results searching for vendors or venues; why have it there if it doesn’t work? Have a Canadian version where you don’t have that option if you’re not going to bother setting it up. Also, why does it take an hour to get a password reset email in 2023? We have had that technology for long enough now. Any other site sends it instantly.

Website is a life saver. I downloaded this app after getting engaged and didn’t touch it much/ understand its function. After setting up the website I’ve realized how much this is a life saver especially for a wedding with many out of town guests. It helps organize all of your information, hotels, travels etc as well as rsvps!

App stopped working. I have been using this app since August and it’s been great up until last month. I can no longer search for vendors. I even tried using this website and something seems very broken. How can there be no vendors for Toronto? When it worked, it worked well. Just sucks that it was short lived.

Amazing App for Weddings. This is so user friendly and easy to use for everyone. I love the interface on both computer and phones.

DOESNT work for Canadians. Everything else is great about the app, but huge issue with glitches. When I first downloaded the app it worked well, then when i went back into it a while later the entire Reception Venue section stopped working. No matter where I search for a reception venue it says there are 0 Reception Venues and it won’t let me click any buttons on the Reception Venue page. I even deleted the app and reinstalled and no change. Kinda hard to plan a wedding when I don’t know where it’s going to be. UPDATE: It no longer works for Canadians. I tried searching for locations in the US to see if this was the issue, and sure enough tons of venues came up, but none for anywhere in Canada. Odd considering when I first downloaded the app in November it worked fine.

Love this app!. Really helped to plan my brothers wedding.

Wedding planning. This app and website made our wedding planning very easy and fast!

A STRESS REDUCER. The knot is seriously amazing. Covers everything from your budget to your honeymoon location. The wedding website you can make for your guests is especially helpful for posting information for away guests and spreading information to a group of people rather than you yourself being the messenger! It’s a great app! Can’t believe it’s free

Love this app!. Everything you need in one spot! So easy to use! Making a website for your wedding can be intimidating but this app makes it so simple and quick! You can have it complete in only a couple hrs! Definitely recommend!

Pretty good !. Definitely helps me feel organized!

Only American vendors…. This app definitely seems to cover everything you need when planning a wedding, HOWEVER, all the vendors etc are all American! Makes it very difficult to use as a Canadian..

Great App. App works great.

Great service provided. The Knot helped us with RSVP and dietary restrictions! The website also came in a lot of handy to keep our guests updated with COVID restrictions. The site is easy to customize and create! Would definitely recommend!

Such a Letdown. Every time I search for a venue or a bridal salon in my area, it says that there are “none available”. Clearly this app is meant for large American cities.

Easy to use!. Very easy to navigate and they have a lot of cute options for the wedding website.

Great!. I have been using The Knot to plan my wedding, my fiancé and I absolutely love the checklist and it makes RSVP and creating the wedding website so easy!

Amazing Wedding app. I’m so happy I stumbled across this app. It’s really enhance my wedding planning journey.

Surprisingly helpful!. Easy to navigate, and the checklist is super helpful when you feel overwhelmed!

Excellent App!. I wish more options were available for searchable locations in Canada. Otherwise, it is an excellent app to stay on top of planning.

Awesome. My only continued annoyance is that I’m from Canada, and this app is made for Americans. Please update. Otherwise, fantastic.

Best App. This app is amazingly easy to use. It makes everything from guest list to making a website so easy! I only wish there was a way to categorize kids on the guest list, maybe there is but I didn’t see it yet?

Rarely works. The site and mobile app are down so frequently it’s frustrating. When it works, it’s great… but that seems to be a rarity.

Do not like the app: Glitches. Every time I try and upload pictures to our wedding website the site crashes or glitches and uploads them all separate instead in an album.

Super user-friendly. A time saver. It’s my first time using The Knot and it’s made planning my daughters wedding a one stop shop. The wedding website looks great, the guest list is easy to manage and generating lists for our reception venue is a breeze. Congrats to the team at The Knot who designed the “Planning Tools” especially, that’s where I’m living these final weeks of wedding planning. A+

Love it. Love this app it helped so much, it made my wedding be not so overwhelming

Great App/Site very user friendly. Great App/Site very user friendly

Great concept, the app needs work. The app lags A LOT when you’re typing. When you add in a new guest name it automatically shows them as ‘invited’. In order for a guest to be invited, you need to send them a save-the-date then an invite but there’s no easy place to check out that you’ve sent those things - as in what stage you’re at with that guest in the invitation process. I also think it would be far better if you could just send out your save-the-dates and invite all at once through the app.

All-in-one Wedding Planner. This app/website has almost everything. The only I would change is that currently only American bank accounts can be connected to The Knots for funds on the registry. Besides that, I can’t think of a single thing I would change.

Super!. Le Knot est une site web fantastique pour des plan simples et pour organisé les évènements de votre marriage. Je n’est pas utilisé tous les fonctions mais ceux que j’ai utilisé était très utile.

Best ever!. Bless this app and its developers! Our planning was low stress from this app’s guidance and all its planning guides. Has song requests and everything like budget planning and tracking and checklists that kept us organized. I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend this app for all marring couples and those looking into tying the knot because there were no surprises left unturned. Love it!

40% functional in Canada, hideous new design update. The new design update it also very ugly, not sure what would make them choose that. Maybe a managers six year old had control of final design??? Anyway it is helpful for things like the guest list, and if you don’t mind manually entering all registry details the website feature isn’t bad, but it is very limited for Canadians. Many registry items won’t work as they will alert you they don’t ship to Canada, and are in US funds. Oh well.

Good app but some issues. I like this app because it has a checklist of things you need to get done and approximately when you should have them done by - for a big procrastinator like me, that helps because there were details I overlooked and didn’t think about how early I need to do these things. So that’s great. But in trying to edit our wedding website, the app was really giving us issues. Trying to edit the address of the venue, making sure the ceremony and reception had the same address, and trying to add our wedding party’s names and titles in the actual order we wanted them (when I was done, the app would rearrange the names in a different order.) Those things were very frustrating. We edited these sections each several times until we finally tried it on a computer instead and it worked better. So I would say the app needs to be adjusted to fix those bugs, but overall a good app to use with helpful tips and suggestions to get ready for the big day!!

Piece of Mind. This is a great app to have. It helps you keep track of spending. It keeps you on track in order to do things in a timely manner. Most importantly it gives you insight on vendors to use, by being able to see how other brides or party planner have made out with using/ hiring certain vendors for such a special day. It also gives you a place to store everything that is needed or will be needed for your special day. The Knot app also helps you remember things you probably would have forgotten or just overlooked not on purpose but just because you have so much on the brain. Thank you, thank you, thank you very much to who ever thought of making such a handy app to help out future brides/ planners. Being able to just pick up your phone and have the app at your fingertips is the best!!

Great for keeping organized. All things considered I really love this app. I use it regularly and wouldn’t have my mind without it. The guest list is probably the main feature I use. The Knot has many great features and wonderful advise. My venue isn’t one that comes up automatically, so I had to really tweak settings in order to get a close address marker for the main page of my website - where I would have loved to be able to input it myself. Also, not being a traditional (nor Christian) bride, there seems to be many articles that I ignore and other app features that I have to regularly look past, and it would be great if I could click a button to say “do not show”. I’d also love to be able to add in things that are significant to my partner and I and find helpful tips related to them. For what it is, which I knew when I signed up, I really do love it. I also would appreciate the inclusion of non-traditional and less common elements.

Highly recommended for ALL brides. I’m a bride-to-be, and I haven’t had any close friends or family get married before so EVERYTHING is new to me. This app helped me understand timetables on when things should be booked, slowly introduces what the next steps should be in your vendor searches, etc. If I had any critique, it would be that the recommended vendors in the searches are all only from the closest metro area (for example, all of them are from Detroit area, which is 2+ hours away from where our wedding is going to be held), and it takes some searching to find more local companies to where we are getting married, even with my location set in the app. Due to this, the vendors I’m communicating with on the app are either out of range for our big day, or would require more transportation fees/overnight stays than if we were able to find people closer.

Better than the others; could get better. I liked the app; it was certainly better than other alternatives. We had less than a year-long engagement and all the other apps just said I immediately had several things overdue—not what a stressed bride wants to hear. The Knot scaled my to-do list to my timeline so I could actually keep up. I could also delete or add tasks based on my style. It seemed to be the only app with a built-in budgeter, but I wish that feature would also help me track how much money I *actually* spent. I ended up keeping a transaction notebook by hand. It would also be helpful to have a notes section where I could jot down simple notes (again, I kept a physical notebook for this). The Knot kept me sane, and allowed for a great interface with my guests! Built-in website included rsvps, registry, and a list of invitations and thank you notes sent. I loved the guest features!

Worst app ever!!!!. If I could give less than 1 star I would! This app has been nothing but trouble from the beginning. It CONSTANTLY changes my wedding date and confuses my guests. I have seen it change dates every few minutes. At this point the date on the website is an entire week off! I have to constantly go back in and change it only for it to be wrong again 5 min later. I have put in several help requests and all I get is an email 2 days later saying that I need to change it on a computer, which doesn’t work by the way. Now it has deleted all of registry’s and only put a registry for REI which I don’t have and has nothing in it. It also doesn’t let my guests actually view my website. If it wasn’t already on my invitations I would delete the entire account. Please learn from my mistakes and do not use the Knot. They do not care that this is the most special day of your life, they don’t care if you’re guests all get the wrong information. They simply do not care and don’t even care that they’re selling a flawed product!

A BRIDE FOR THE WORLD!. Hello all, and specially, to all of the beautiful brides who will have the opportunity of downloading this extraordinary wedding planning app. It have been an amazing journey, my wedding will take place in only 30 days. I recommend this app to any bride to be out there who will enjoy planning step by step her wedding. If you are on a budget and want to save a lot of $$ this app is definitely for you. On a daily basis, I check in, follow the checklist, connect with local vendors, booking professionals with incredible positive reviews and experience, meeting with expert of different areas in wedding planning and organization. The part I love the most is ordering save the date, wedding invitation, thank you, bridal shower, rehearsal and information/details cards because it save me time and money. If you really want to plan your wedding yourself this app is all you need besides the love of your family and friends. Enjoy!!! From the future Mrs. Durante

Helpful with countdown, free website, and keeps my vendors and guest list handy. I like the app. I have a free wedding website I can share with my guests, with a ton of selections for a theme. I can find my vendors quickly in case I need to contact them when I don’t have my folder with me. I don’t even need the folder except I like to have my documents all in one place. Guests can rsvp on the website too. I can introduce my wedding party and share photos. I love the inspiration also. I can see lots of photos from other weddings. From dresses and tuxes to rings and locations. I can find a vendor for anything I might want, including centerpieces, back lighting, venues, salons, destinations, DJ’s or bands, even photo booth vendors. There is a countdown that I can view the second I log in. I can change it to show #of months, weeks, or even days left. I don’t mind the emails to remind me of things I should have planned at a certain time. Some vendors need extra time to get scheduled and paid. Everything I need or might want. I am half way through my planning and I am feeling organized and not so overwhelmed anymore. Not a fan of the Look Book, by The Knot. That has a big white banner in the center that doesn’t go away. I have to view idea pictures that slide behind the banner. I don’t use the look book anymore.

Great, just wish it had sharing capability. I’ve been very happy with the setup of the knot including the helpful tips you can opt to get via emails or notifications. However, the one thing that bothers me is that it’s hard for my fiancé to keep up with what’s going on. He can access the knot via my password and look on a desktop computer. But in order for him to have the same app setup he would have to download the app and use my same login info. My fiancé gets frustrated not knowing what he can do to help or what still has left to get done. I wish there was a feature that let you have two users, and then each person gets notified of things to do. Additionally, it would be super sweet if you could share notifications of when things were done or who did them, but that might be too advanced. Just wish it was easier for him to stay as connected as I am on my phone, so that I didn’t have to feel overbearing by writing him to-do lists all the time.

Waters Edge Centerport. Our daughters wedding reception took place September 3rd at Waters edge This is an outstanding venue with decorator finishing The venue the people who run your party are the most professional and friendly I have ever seen and I hav been going to weddings for 60 plus years. The general manager Kevin was incredible in suggestions and in implementing touches we determined we wanted for this event. His personality is God sent and the team he has around him are outstanding. Jessica our event person was a blessing it was impossible to find fault anywhere because none existed The cleanliness of the bathrooms through the evening were spotless Now best for last the FOOD 5 star restaurant presentation and flavors totally amazing. I hav another daughter and one day her special day will be there as well. Everything was over the top excellence

Makes wedding planning a breeze!. Getting everything planned for your wedding literally can be stressful and figuring out when things need to be done by can be a nightmare!! This app has made everything so easy!! To finding vendors and figuring out your wedding checklist there are so many different things that help you stay organized! 5 stars all the way..... Edit: While it can be easy it is a total glitch nightmare sometimes. Uploading photos is always glitchy and I always have to do it more than once. I’ve recently added my rehearsal dinner info to my website but it is not showing up at all on the website but still shows on my edit option. It also kept telling me that my website was only a certain percentage complete but would never tell me what I needed to add. It can be seriously frustrating sometimes. I hope the knot can figure out their technical issues and make it a bit more user friendly and then I can post a positive review again.

Good idea but poor execution. The wedding website, the main reason that I and many other brides use the knot, is quite possibly the worst wedding website template on the internet. For example, you cannot change the color of the text on your site. It lets you *think* you can, because you can pick what colors you want on the editing page, but no changes are reflected on the actual site. In addition, you can change the size of the text on the editing page, but so far, only my name and my fiancee’s name have shown the changes in text size. My wedding date, location, and countdown are so small you cannot even make them out, and no matter how many times I’ve tried to make it bigger, the words get bigger on the editing page but not the actual website. Also, when you bounce back and forth between pages, the fonts change. So so frustrating. I have this beautiful font for my fiancée and I’s names on the main page, but if you go to any of the other pages of the site and then return to the main page, the font is changed and ugly.

Great planning organizer. The Knot is pretty standard to have in any wedding planning arsenal. The app is extremely easy to use and does a generally good job of keeping track of what you have accomplished. The website is also really easy to use and keeps everything in one place for you. Sometimes I had an issue with it saving my wedding date correctly - at times a random date would be listed as the wedding date on my home screen, even well into using the app. But otherwise no issues. I do like how many vendors are listed when searching and how you can filter through them, but it can be a little more difficult if you are looking with budget restraints or are getting married in a smaller city/town as not all available vendors in the area are listed with The Knot. There are tons of vendors listed for couples getting married in more populated areas though, so it’s more related to our personal choices.

Absolute must have for brides-to-be!. This is an all-in-one planner right on your phone or tablet! It has a checklist of things that need to be done as well as how far in advance they should get done. They have a list of vendors and reviews for them! You can build a guest list in the app, you can build a registry, you can build a website for your guests to visit and RSVP and look at your registry. This app has everything you could need. Planning my wedding has been a breeze. Sometimes I check the checklist just to make sure I’m on track and can settle my stresses. It’s really great and I highly recommend it. Especially if you’re a huge planner type person. Or even if you’re someone who doesn’t even know where to start. The knot will help you figure out what to do next. It’s great. AND FREE! You can’t beat free.

Lost Bride Found Her Way. This app has helped me stay on top of every detail related to our wedding! I was never the little girl that dreamed of her big day. I always had an idea of what I wanted, but had no idea how to execute it. In every other aspect of life, I am very decisive and know what I like and what kind of woman I wanted to be. This wedding stuff had me completely stumped. Without this checklist and timeline, I would have been completely and utterly lost. I don’t like to reach out to family for too many things, especially things I can do on my own. This list, which tells you exactly what to do and in a specific timeline, allowed me to complete a lot of tasks without outside assistance. I was not overwhelmed; I was not behind on tasks, and I was organized. I found almost all of my vendors through this app as well. Thank you THE KNOT! You guys/gals have been a godsend and I am super grateful! ♥️

This is a WONDERFUL wedding planning app. Our engagement period was a year long and early on in the process we were advised to download this app and buy a copy of the ultimate wedding planning binder. So glad we listened. We check this app several times a week to keep up with our guest list as well as our registry. The interface is fairly easy to navigate. We are huge fans of the functions like the timeline and listing of local vendors. It was moderately easy to build and customize a wedding website. I just held back on giving it a final star because importing our guest list excel file was very consuming. There have been several changes made through the website so we wanted to export the list of only the guests that will be able to attend. Though there is a button displayed that Exports your data, it currently isn’t available. Would have been super helpful when compiling the table seating chart.

It’s Alright. The good: The thing this app is best for is the checklist and timeline to help keep your dates and tasks organized. This app does that incredibly well. The not-so-good: I am planning a very non-traditional destination wedding (in Europe), and The Knot does not seem to support destination weddings very well. It’s been really hard to update our wedding website with details because none of our vendors are listed or able to be located using the search feature. Also, using a gift registry outside of the Knot isn’t great to interface with your personal “The Knot” website. Honestly overall, the personal wedding website options are very plain, basic, and generic. I’m essentially only sticking with the Knot because I don’t feel like starting over with another app or company. The style quiz feature is also pointless and incredibly cliched. All of my results clashed with each other. The Knot is fine. Not amazing, not horrible. Again, best feature by far is the task checklist and timeline.

It stopped worked screen is frozen. It just stopped working. It had a pop up that asked if it was going to be a religious ceremony. I didn’t feel like answering questions as I’m in the middle of a task, so I clicked skip or not now or whatever that option was. The pop up screen went white and it’s frozen. I tried several solutions but the pop up is frozen and it won’t go away. I’m not impressed with the app anyway, but in the last 2-3 days I’ve had it, I’ve contacted many vendors I’m waiting on responses from, and now I can’t use the app! I wanted an app that has a checklist which it has, but it’s weird. It has everything as passed due when the wedding is next year. I also can’t find any of the vendors we are interested in on the searches. They aren’t in the searches at all. Some are parks so that could be why, but some are event venues, and restaurants. I don’t know what to do now that the screen is frozen and I can’t access emails from vendors or LEEP track of everything I’ve finished on that app! This is frustrating.

A must for every new bride!!!. At the beginning of wedding planning I had no idea where to start. One of my friends happened to mention this app and I downloaded it not knowing all of its features and capabilities. Needless to say, I would not have been able to plan a wedding so seamlessly (as seamless as wedding planning could get) without this app!!! From verified reviews on vendors to vendor chats to daily, thought out check lists, to the emails with reminders and useful premarital reads/tips, to the free website and registry linkage, The Knot was a one-stop shop that integrated everything I would could possibly get from a wedding planner in one app. All for free... speechless and just grateful to have something that ties everything you need in one place for such a crazy time of your life. This is absolutely a must for all brides!

The knot is my wedding planner. The knot is truly amazing. Okay, FREE, number one. My fiancé and I are budgeting and can’t afford a wedding planner so this is our alternative 😅 it has EVERYTHING you could think of on the checklist… I ended up deleting the unnecessary items on the to do list. Number two, you can make a free wedding website through them that is easy to put together and beautiful design templates. We are using this instead of sending out invites, bc the knot let’s you text people the link to RSVP. The only problem I saw was they promoted “their” vendors, even when I filtered out expensive options, the search results still featured vendors they promote. But, alas, that’s understandable since this app is free, they gotta have sponsors somehow. I highly recommend (also recommend you use some features on computer vs phone app).

Good app but can do better on some things. So we’ve been using the app to plan our wedding in May. Love the fact that you can email vendors and mark who is your vendor. That has been great to keep track of some things. The think that gives the app 4 stars is the guest list part of things. It is just so confusing and when I entered in all of my guests it came up as I was only inviting about less than half the guests. I do not know where the other guests went and although the guests can rsvp on my website I cannot mark it as private as it keeps making me enter in my guests. I ended up putting it on an excel worksheet to finally stop adding guests I already have. It would be nice to have them in the same place and easier to read. I would like there to be a way that we can enter each name and have it on what looks like an excel spreadsheet so we can look at everything all at once. And also have them be entered only once.

So Amazing. Be sure to use ONLY your computer for the guest list so it doesn’t get all messed up!! (I learned the hard way) Other than a ton of guest list confusion, this has been my savior with wedding planning!! The to do list has things I didn’t even think of, my guests can rsvp on the site and specify if they need a specialized meal (vegetarian or vegan), it’s easy for guests to see our registries all in one place (along with customized ones like breakfast in bed for the morning after), and I was able to create a custom FAQ page so guests know what to expect and can be more prepared! I check The Knot app every day to see if there’s anything I can check off my to do list and to see the countdown! I highly recommend this app to any bride or wedding planner to keep things organized and to prevent forgetting any little details!!

My saving grace!. This app is absolutely AMAZING! I’m one of the first in my entire family to have a wedding in almost 20 years so I knew absolutely nothing and everything my parents knew was completely outdated. I was on a tight budget so I couldn’t afford a wedding planner so this app was a life saver! It gives you a countdown until your date then gives you a loooong detailed list of to do’s to check off. It kept me organized and on track for everything and I found all of my vendors and my venue all within the app. The best part is by far the website. It was super easy to build through here it gave us the ability to add our registry and cash funds deposited directly to our bank account. I’m very impressed and would definitely recommend

Not user friendly. This app is basically a crappy checklist. There isn’t a place to list my bridal party or even mark someone as bridal party on the guest list. There’s not a way to mark guests as children. The wedding vision quiz basically just made me an uncustomizable board of photos. I can’t figure out if there’s a way to customize the “loves” or items I’ve saved in my ideas. Pinterest is better for saving ideas, really. When you mark something as done on the checklist that item disappears so it gets difficult to keep track of things that have been done vs things you may not have ever had on the list that slipped your mind. There’s no way (that I can tell) to import info that I’ve chosen that may not already be available through The Knot. There’s not a search bar to easily look for anything. I tried going to the website to see if there’s more content, but the pop-up ad for the iOS app does not go away when you click the x so that’s a no-go as well. I hope there’s a better wedding planner app out there otherwise I’m going old-school with a binder and spreadsheets

Great for Type A brides!. It’s so nice to have all my planning allocated to one app!! Vendor messages, inspiration board, guest list, website! It’s amazing. My only wish is that I could change the descending order of my guest list - I do not like that the most recently added is at the top of the list. The first people added to my guest list are my must haves- family and close friends and are the ones I want to see on the list first, not the “oh yeah remember that guy we should invite him maybe”. My other wish is that there were more website themes that went out of the way of “traditional” themes. We’re what one might call an “alternative” couple and find it hard to find a website theme that goes w one wedding colors. Although it’s nice a wedding website is through this app, I will probably use a different service to host my website that fits our aesthetic better. Otherwise, love this app and it’s been a lifesaver

The cure for your wedding planning woes!. I was so stressed about forgetting things and all of the time I’d have to spend searching for vendors! But this app gave me a full schedule through the wedding date of when to get things done, which was a relief. Best of all, they have recommendations for EVERYTHING you need. I don’t know about anyone else, but I get anxiety just thinking about having to comb through google searches for local makeup artists or photographers with all the reviews and the breakdown of services...the Knot consolidated all of that for me into one website! The wedding website option itself was super helpful, better than the options on other sites I’ve used. It even let me sync my Zola registry! There’s also the online RSVP which is super convenient and straightforward! The Knot is the best wedding planning app out there, plain and simple!

Great Website, App Needs Work. Absolutely love The Knot. It has made wedding planning so easy! The only “complaint” I have is that the app malfunctions a lot! It’s constantly logging me out and I very frequently find myself having to delete the app and redownload it before it will let me log back in. It might just not be super compatible with Apple products but it can be very frustrating. Other than that, I love The Knot! It made rsvps easy and quick (& not to mention cheaper)! It had a to-do list that would remind us when we needed to have things done by. Many of the things, I would have never even thought of so that was very helpful! I could search for venues and caterers and cake bakers... The Knot is 100% the way to go if you’re looking for some simple, easy, and helpful. Everything about planning a wedding is very stressful. The Knot takes a little of that stress off your shoulders! I will be recommending it to my friends when they get married!

Thank you so much!. My Fiancé and I just got engaged on June 26th and we are having our wedding on September 22, 2018. As you can imagine I was tripping over myself with a notebook in one hand and my cellphone in the other with several empty cups of Dutch Bros by my side. Yes, I managed to stress myself out to the max in a matter of 5 days.... now for the thank you. YOU GUYS ARE SAVING MY LIFE! I work 6 days a week and planning a wedding in such a short amount of time is killer. With this app and being able to have all of my stuff with me in my phone actually gave me my one day off to already go get my dress instead of ogling over my notebook and coffee. It is super easy to use and the sweet little notes they have all over the site make my heart melt and bring me confidence and ease. I love it. You guys are amazing! I highly recommend to everyone getting married! If you are getting married soon, congratulations!

AMAZING HELP... No more stressing!. I was contemplating getting my own wedding planner book thinking it would have everything I need to help plan for my wedding, but this app is more than I ever could have hoped for in a planning book! It automatically sets your to do list along with due dates such as when save the dates and invitations should be sent. Along with so many other tasks I did not even think about! It also gave a HUGE list of venues, photographers/ videographers, DJs, makeup artists/hair stylists, caterers, and more. I love that other brides left their personal reviews of everything they used in their weddings, as well. I was feeling very overwhelmed at first, but The Knot Wedding Planner app has eased my mind tremendously. I would give more than 5 stars if that were an option! If you are a newly engaged bride to be... you NEED this!

Very glitchy. I love the idea of this site and the capabilities but when I get on the app on my phone it never works properly and screws with my guest list. My guest list members were under “his” and “hers” groups on the app and then when I logged on online the groups disappeared. I reached out for help and a rep told me that these groups aren’t possible because they don’t exist even though I still see them on the app?? When online I added people in pairs based off of their address (John Smith and John Smith plus one) but the app has them as separate guests not grouped together which can get confusing. Now, my guests are having issues RSVPing from their phones but not as many issues when sending an RSVP online. The online version seems great but the app needs a lot of work. Wish I could give a better rating as The Knot has kept me very organized with planning I just wish the app was less glitchy and didn’t have as many crashes/freezes.

Wedding Planner. The Knot has been so helpful for planning my wedding. The most helpful features for me: 1. Vendor info to help me find top rated venue, florist, makeup, photographer etc 2. The To-do list. At first it was daunting but there were so many things on there I probably wouldnt have thought about until last minute so it helped me yhink of trhe little things. And when you’re planning a wedding- its really fun to ✅ things off the to-fo list. 3. The wedding website. We created our wedding website through the knot and the registry etc worked great, we could add items from any site with one click on “add to the knot”. 4. RSVPs. Instead of sending RSVP cards we had our guests RSVP on the website and saved money. It was easy for guests and we had a real time update on our guest count and could see who was accepting or declining real time. Super easy to set up. The app is great and super helpful, you just need to use it.

A Must-Have for Brides!!. Planning a wedding is, of course, overwhelming for most of us. As a highly organized person, I was stressed trying to sort out the different tasks that planning a wedding required. The Knot made it SO easy and SO stress-free! They make a list of To Do’s for you and when you should complete them by to keep you on top of your planning, but in a spaced out, timely manner. Having all of the tasks laid out was incredibly helpful. On top of it, they give you countless vendor suggestions based on your venue which includes reviews from other couples that used those vendors for their weddings! You can even add items to your registry all without even leaving The Knot app. You can make your save-the-dates, your hotel accommodations, EVERYTHING you need. I promise you, planning a wedding using The Knot actually makes it an enjoyable & fun process!!

THIS APP WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE. Ok honestly, I can’t even begin to explain how useful the knot has been throughout my wedding planning. Thanks to the knot, we do not have to spend money on a wedding coordinator. I loved this app so much I actual bought the knot’s physical wedding planner at Barnes n noble, which I can’t stop showing off to everyone. I have been on several different wedding websites and looked at several different wedding planners, and the knot has been the best by far. I love that the knot provides so many different resources and even a free wedding website and registry (they also have their online money registry!) I am a fan of keeping things organized but I tend to get all over the place. The knot helps me to keep everything in order, in a way that makes sense to me. I really don’t think I could plan this wedding without the help of the knot. Highly recommend!

Many glitches. There are many glitches and features that aren’t user friendly. You can chat with vendors but sometimes the messages will just come up blank because of a glitch. You have to communicate through email instead, which is ok, just a little annoying. If you enter in your details and info, you’d think that you wouldn’t have to do it again but you’d be wrong. You’ll repeatedly be asked about your budget, date, city etc. Also, it will recommend vendors in your area, that don’t actually service your area. I have been told several times by vendors that my location is too far even though I only requested a quote because the knot recommended it for my area. It doesn’t always save your checklist. I have marked “create a budget” off my checklist 3 times. Every morning I tells me I still have to do it. The only reason why I gave it any stars is because the list of venues is easier to navigate than using Google. I’m looking into another app. This one is more trouble than it’s worth.

Very Helpful. I really didn’t know where to start with wedding planning and wanted to make sure I didn’t forget anything, so the Knot really saved the day for me. The website is a great tool also— the USPS has been very slow and buggy (our save the dates and invitations arrived a month after we mailed them, returned for no apparent reason, etc.) so we made the RSVP online on our website which was so easy for us and our guests to RSVP and keep track of everything. The checklists were helpful and the vendor searches and reviews were great too. Our website also had a place for the registry, our story and other fun stuff. Exporting our guest list to Excel was a little buggy but other than that, great experience! I planned my wedding in 6 months with a little help from my parents but no planner other than the app and everything went smoothly. Thanks!

Love this app!. This app has been so helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. The checklist and budgeter are perfect for keeping us on track! I love checking things off and seeing the progress as we go along. I also love that you can save all of your vendors on the app. It makes it so convenient for me if I need to call them or anything like that. The wedding website we were able to create through the Knot is beautiful and makes it so easy for our guest to figure out everything. The Knot also provides a representative that helps you throughout your entire venue search which was awesome. I really can't say enough good things about The Knot! The only thing I wish The Knot would have offered is a seating chart template. I ended up using the one one wedding wire for my last month of planning.

Pleased. The Knot is a pretty good site for wedding planning. I really like that it keeps everything (guest list, registry, website) in one place and allows for online RSVPs. I also like the many different website background options and how customizable the website is (it’s easy to add tabs, delete features, etc.), and that you can put on as much or as little detail as you want without it looking like there are big holes in your site. The only features I wish it had are 1) An option to keep your website private until you’re ready to publish, 2) The option for the couple to include hyperlinks to registry items within the Newlywed Fund so you don’t need to create a new registry with a store when you only want a single item from them, and 3) a feature that allows couple/guests to mark the Newlywed Fund items as “purchased”. In all, I’m very pleased.

Super helpful. This app was super helpful for us right after we got engaged. We weren’t sure where to start and we had a lot of ideas of what we should do but just didn’t know when to do some of the stuff. Was also very helpful on giving us ideas of other things To consider planning for a wedding that we didn’t even think of. What was great is that it gives you a schedule based on the date that you choose to help you catch up if it’s a short engagement or if it’s a long engagement you can space out the planning. Our engagement was about seven months and we used this as a guideline for majority of what we needed to do. There was one thing though that we thought was a little late for us was the dates they said to get your save the dates out in your wedding invitation out, and so we ended up sending our wedding invitations out much sooner than the date proposed on this app.

Has it’s quirks, but there’s a lot to love... like my fiancé. The biggest issues I’ve had with the interface are some small bugs that make planning frustrating. For example, the line spacing for your story is impossible to customize in a way that looks great on desktop and mobile. When you build your day-of timeline, each event defaults to AM, and even if you have the drop down deliberately clicked to PM, you’ll have to track down that line after you’ve hit save, change it to PM again. Easy fix for dev, just make it a radio button instead of a drop down. It’s unclear what kind of things are contributing toward your completion percentage in the planning process. I’m a competitive person, and detail oriented as well, so if that were an area of the site I understood better, it would really motivate me forward as I plan. I actually searched this and many brides complained about it in their forum, but it’s not been resolved... 4 years later. Finally, the registry section didn’t make it overly obvious that you can also add links to items from a n y site on the web. Awesome feature! But I wish I’d seen it earlier. Also... I want my guests to scroll through my entire collection of gifts, but the location of the linked registry buttons for some of the bigger retailers are prominently at the top of the page, so my concern is my guests will just click through those, and miss the custom linked items. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Easy to use & fun to plan!. I have always heard of The Knot and a few other popular wedding websites, so when I got engaged I made accounts on all of them and played around on each until I decided which one I liked the most. The Knot “takes the cake” by far! It’s simple and easy to use and has all the details you need to wedding plan, including some things I hadn’t even thought of. I like that I can customize my vision (in addition to Pinterest) and edit it online or through the app. The wedding website is so fun to build; I love the themes, the custom fonts, and the way you can hide pages as you edit them before making them public. The Knot is the perfect tool for those like me who aren’t hiring a real-life wedding planner. Additionally, as a newly-engaged gift, my best friend bought me the physical The Knot Wedding Planner book and using it in unison with the website has been PERFECT.

Great resource. For someone who is wanting a streamlined app for your wedding, this is the app to use. It is relatively easy to navigate and can hold a multitude of things for you such as a guest list, budgeter, and registry. The only downside that I have had with using it is when it came to using the “create you’re own website.” When I tried putting pictures up to show to our guest under “Our Story”, it would continuously cut the pictures off, flip the pictures upside down and essentially cause extreme frustration. Now don’t get me wrong, it does give a cropping tool but even after saving it, it reverts back so it’s almost pointless. Additionally, I did try reaching out to customer service but honestly, I don’t think they really served as much help in resolving the issue. All in all, the morale of this frustration when it comes to the website is not to put a picture board under “Our Story” and you should be fine!

Helpful Features and Free. The Knot app and custom website are free. My website was easier to create than I expected, and planning my wedding suddenly became manageable with the use of this app. I love the relevant features especially the 'stay on track' checklist and the Do's & Don'ts advice. The website is very convenient for guests, and keeps track of RSVP's for all events; not just the wedding. You can create your multi-page website using a cell phone or an iPad, but you will not have access to all the features such as font style, color, and size. It’s best to use a laptop or a desktop. My suggestion to make the website even better and more interactive, is to add features that allow linking of “1-question surveys” and/or ‘survey polls” to the rsvp or the sign-in page. The information gathered , (such as favorite song titles), would be very helpful to the wedding planner.

So easy!. The Knot has made my wedding planning so simple and easy so far! ADORE the checklist and the “Hooray!” every time I check something off. I especially like the latest update (might just be on the browser version) where you can see each member of each household. I have a lot of family with the same last names so seeing 3 different “Matos families” was super confusing but now it displays the members of the household members really clearly and I appreciate that a ton. It’s awesome having the registries all in one place. Finally, the articles are just great. I’m a somewhat young bride, the first of my friends to get married so I honestly didn’t (still don’t) know a lot of basics and etiquettes regarding weddings but the Knot offers so many helpful, useful, and APPLICABLE tips for wedding planning that has made this process so incredibly smooth and easy. Can’t wait to get preggers so I can use The Bump!

Invaluable to my fiancé and I, but definitely needs improvements. Overall it’s been helpful and couldn't plan our wedding without it. However, I wish that it can be more personalised (such as with the To Do List and being able to add our own tasks) as well as having some features such as being able to complete a seating chart, and having documents that could be ultimately printed for organisation. I also wish that we could include personalised names on the people involved with the schedule, as there wasn’t a button to add people to designate tasks to, such as our MC or our Coordinator, as well as parents. The app sometimes is slow and won’t allow me to click and update guest information, which may be an issue with the most recent update, as it is a new issue. I love the registry and the wedding website creator, and there are many useful tools. The Knot is invaluable to our wedding and necessary, but many improvements can be made for the future for future wedding planners

Love is an understatement. I have loved every detail in this app and company! They make it so easy to have and create a plan and execute it with precision! I am a bride who hates making decisions and can’t make up her mind but this app offers lots of help and ideas that you can’t find on Pinterest. It has help me stay on track and directs my attention to what needs to be done. My favorite part about the timeline is that it gives you time to make a decision. For example, 5 months in advance it listed “Start saving bridesmaid dresses” and I was able to feel comfortable about finding the right dress for my girls because I was given enough notice! I love the different website ideas AND how everyone can view the specific items from your registry directly from your website! Super happy with how easy planning has become! 10/10 would recommend!

Get ready, stay organized, and have fun!. The Knot is an amazing app that really helped me find vendors who are qualified and worked well within my budget. I enjoy the reminders which are pre-set but you can customize the tasks to your pace! I am getting married in August of this year and was engaged this past December. It was incredible how quick and easy I was able to keep track of all my wedding duties in such a short time. I also enjoyed creating my own website for my wedding and was able to share with so many of my friends and family the great news this way. I love the way I can share and relate to many brides in the forums. It’s one day which holds a lot of pressure, but thanks to the knot, I was able to remain calm and keep up with all the to do’s for my wedding. Highly recommend!!!

Great Desktop & Mobile Planner. The Knot Wedding PlannerIs greatly helping my fiancé and I plan our big day. I love the suggested timelines and I think it’s great that this is adjusted based on when you’re getting married. The checklist is super helpful and has made me think of things that I had not thought of before. My main critique is that you can’t filter by religion on the “diversity” section of the vendors list. My fiancé and I are Catholic and are specifically looking for Catholic wedding photographers who have an intimate knowledge of the Catholic faith so they can capture the true beauty and meaning of the Sacrament of Marriage. Regardless of religion or culture, I think it would be great if there was an easier way for couples to find photographers and other vendors who are familiar with a couple’s culture or faith. Bonus points if they aren’t just familiar with it, but share the same values! I think this could greatly add to many couples’ experiences.

Glitchy, not as customizable as you think. This app glitches on me all the time. I only use it for my guest to RSVP and to have a registry all in one place, but the guest list was not intuitive. Guests with families didn’t know how to RSVP the entire family because when they type in their name, it only shows two spots to type a name, and you have to click randomly for additional name spots to appear. You can’t customize the RSVP reminder. It says: Hey It’s the Knot! And they don’t know what TheKnot is so they ignore it. Any updates to the website I made on the app did not save. The mobile webpage also did not save, I had to do everything on the desktop. You can’t sort the guest list in any way, so I just kept my own in an excel. Can’t resize photos on the homepage. Formatting is not intuitive either, I changed to title font to the largest they had and it didn’t change on the website. The app is good for getting started but I would use other tools for staying organized. Check out the forums with all the questions people have on how to use this app, and no solutions...

Planning Heaven !. Apart from my fiancée this app has truly been what’s keeping me sane. I LOVE this app . I’ve paired it with the Best Wishes Wedding planner and guest book ( which is a physical planner and guest book ) and they are honestly a match made in Heaven ! Both planners literally do ALL the thinking for you ! Even for things that people tend to forget to think about for AFTER the wedding and honeymoon . The app will even send you encouraging or helping quotes everyday . I honestly love that part because it reminds me that this is supposed to be a fun process and it reminds me to take a step back and remember the simple fact that I get to marry my best fiend soon ! The only reason why I gave it 4 stars out of 5 is because I am seriously doing a wedding on a budget and when you look at the suggested companies in the app the lowest offers are VERY expensive . So if you are on a strict budget, I suggest you do research outside of the app for hiring .

Great app w/a few minor issues. We love using this for our wedding planning needs! It has many customizable areas and well thought out categories. The only real glitches are when using a mobile phone. When entering information, such as venue details or "Our Story," the keyboard pops up immediately covering the area you're writing in so you can't see what's being written. Nearly impossible to edit that portion and you can't use the paste or copy features because the prompts are beneath the keyboard. The other issue is that when you toggle windows on a mobile, such as getting contact information to fill in, it often closes you out of The Knot app so anything you've entered but not saved will be lost. Other than those two minor issues it's a really great product and came in so handy for all our wedding planning needs!
