Easy. This made learning phrases in Italian very easy for having such a busy schedule

Exactly what I need. Sadly to say, never got the time to actually learn some basic Italian before my trip. Luckily most people can speak English there, this app help you learn the basic, most essential phrases. I like that you can save the ones you know you'll need for easy access.

A good starting point. This has been my starting point for learning the basics and for a quick check when I get stuck with my progress- best of the basic apps I have tried

My rate. I think this is the best thing to choose if u want to speak italian because it is the easiest thing to pick to speak italian

Learn Italian. You should also have a girl saying the words you know when u get board of the boy change to the girl.

Good, but not awesome. I think this app is really good, it helps at certain points, but I wish some of the things were not in the Pro's. Like family I think should not be in the Pro's or Towns. Also when you search something you should be able to search sentences, like I tried to search "hello, Grandpa" ,because my grandpa speaks Italian, but nothing came up. I also think there should be a test thing or something. Otherwise this app is really good and I like it a lot!

Will only play one speed I paid for this. I have purchased several apps Rosetta Stone being the best one… But I like some of these R ones because of the flashcards and other advantages they have… I find nothing in this one that is useful as far as being one of the less expensive ones… You cannot slow the speech down unless you do it one at a time so if you want the whole playlist to go a little bit slower so you can catch on you can’t do that it goes with the speed… It is very limited on the words that it has available to teach. Add more words change your speed and I will raise it at least a four star for the price possibly a 5. However it is so annoying to try and send in this review I’m about to lower it till one

Handy App. Like the ability to save some phrases to practice over and over. Should come in handy for a future trip to Italy.

Grazie Grazie Grazie!!!. I love this app, really good for learning the basics. I am lucky I found this because uno, I am like, the only person in my school that knows Italian besides "Si". Due, I raised my hand in class today to say my short term goal aloud in class (drug abuse and how it can change your life), and I said "I want to finish my Conversational Italian by the end of next week." (I got a lecture because I said 'I want' instead of saying "I will", but I'm here to rate the app, not tell you about my day on… FRIDAY THE 13th!). Anyway, I said "Prenditi cura di te" and "Ciao". They wanted me to sing Happy Birthday, and I was like "NO." I didn't tell them why though… HAHAHA EVVVIIIL Well, I bet you will see my reviews on here plenty, so I will leave you with a HUGE grazie and a signature. Grazie, Sarah

Useless. I paid 5 dollars for nothing! Free version diffintly worth it but to pay 5 dollars for more few words is not worth it at all!!! Plus many words are not available and am talking about simple main words such as good morning and good evening! Total waste of money.

Best Italian Learners App!!!. Ive gone through just about every italian app in the store and this ones my personal favorite. The phrases you learn will get you through any conversation you might have. From ordering from a menu, to introducing yourself to a lovely italian lady ;) Arrivaderci =) and Buona Fortuna!!

Great app!. This a wonderful app. The only thing about it that I don't like is, the person speaks too fast. But over all it's great!

Simply Handy. This is VERY simple tool for getting through basic conversations. Just visited Rome and it performed very well. I still relied on a translator app but this one was a handy, quick-reference guide for when I needed a reminder on the basics. It has some quirky references, but overall it was accurate. The main downside is the robotic voice. Entertaining for children, but a bit embarrassing in adult company.

Great!. Very good app for traveling. So parlare un po' in italiano. But this app helps me refresh my conversation for those phrases I've forgotten. I would give it a five star, but when I was looking at the page that shows the other apps the company offers, it crashed so it gets four.

Best Italian learning app. My family just obtained Italian citizenship, and now we need to learn the language. This app helped me learn conversational Italian in just a short period of time. I'm so happy to have found this educational tool.

Just what I was looking for. Tomorrow me and my brother fly to Italy and he knows some Italian, more than I do...this is just what I needed to find just to get up to speed and be able to handle any emergency that arises if my brother is unable to speak or we get split up for any reason

My favorite app!!!. I love this app! It's very clear wording and makes it easier to pronounce! If you truly want to learn italian and take the time to learn I highly recommend this app! I've already learned a ton of new words and phrase and they have stuck with me! Also, like many others , I like free stuff. While that is true, I recommend paying only $4.99 to get the pro! I would however learn the basics first ( which is already provided) once again, this app is by far the best of the best. 5 stars!

Easy and basic. I like using this app, but I am using Human Japanese to learn the Japanese language as well...and well...that's a whole year of classes turned into an app. As for Learn Italian, i think its helpful for an "on the go" effect. You'll learn enough to get by, but not a fluent FULL conversation. Order food, ask "where is ___", and "how much is___". I wish there was a Human Japanese for other languages.

Xpat04. I enjoy using this app. It has good vocabulary and phrase choices. However, there is not enough time allotted for me to practice especially when comes to phrases and sentences. Also, I wish I don't have to leave the device opens/on while listening to it. My battery goes down quite fast due to this.

Really great app!. My inlaws are from Italy and they have relatives that visit us in the states and we have been to visit them in Italy. This app is very helpful to me when I see the relatives. I love it ! It is a lot of fun to learn and I will be showing this app to children to use as well. My inlaws love that I am learning Italian.

Eh.. It's good, but it's not what I'm looking for. I take Italian in school and I need help with homework so I use apps. All the things don't know what I'm talking about and wouldn't let me search any English or Italian words. ? Is this just me or am I doing something wrong.

Really useful and relevant for travel. I've been trying a lot of apps for my upcoming trip to Italy. This is one of the very best for relevant phrases that I know I will need and use. I like the ability to mark words & phrases as favorites so I can access them quickly. Good job! The free version gives access to a lot of categories, and I'd like to upgrade to the pro version but I cannot find the pro version anywhere! UPDATE: found the upgrade is purchased within the app, not as a separate app in iTunes store. While $4.99 is pretty high for me to pay for an app, I think it will be the most used app on my trip.

useful words and phrases for first time travellers to Italy. The free version gave me a wide variety of words and phrases for me to learn. Well, I'm a slow learner, so I saved them to my favourites. I've found 10 - 20 useful phrases that I might need on my next trip to Italy.

Great for beginners. This app is really handy for beginners. The phrases are incredibly useful and the favourites option is a great way to quickly brush up on the phrases you find most challenging. The tips were also very helpful in how to pronounce certain letters and where to place the emphasis in words. The only down side was that some of the sections weren't as comprehensive as I would have liked (for example, Numbers). However, overall, this was a great app for learning the basics of speaking Italian.

My review. I like this app ,it gives you tips and translations ,and a spot for your faves, the only that dissapointed me was when I had to pay for some of some things, and it just annoyed me that it was like every other app where you have to pay, but other than that it's great!👍😊

Vocab words need to show gender eg if looking for the word for "plate" it is a bit useless simply having "piatto" as the translation, rather than having "il piatto" or "un piatto", which you can then relate to the rest of a sentence you may want to compose. In Italian, gender is everything! Audio pronunciations are good though . Ciao Filippo

You'll. This is a ok app but like many you need to pay to unlock a lot of words.

Italian pronunciation. I like the voice and the fact that it can be slowed down. I play it over and over to help with the pronunciation. A few more simple sentences would be great. E.g I forgot to buy bread, I need to go to the shops to buy..., are you having a good time?...or are they in the pro edition which I haven't bought yet?

Handy little app!. I purchased the pro version of this app to supplement an Italian class I was taking. To me, the pronunciation seemed the closest to my instructor between the three apps I tried. I also like the fact that you can slow down the speech to hear the sounds a little better. Now all I need is practise!
