Great feature for sharing. I haven’t seen this feature anywhere else. If there are multiple articles on a page the app allows you to isolate and share a specific article without having to send the full page. Ingenious

Works, with problems. I seem to be able to read my magazine, so that is nice. I really think that I should also be able to print a page and cannot. If I had a paper magazine, I could make a photocopy. That would be fair use, and legal. Likewise, I should have the ability to copy text and cannot. Again that would not only be fair use and legal, but is expected behavior for all apps. Finally, some of the pages seem to be out of order. Oh, also, even after I have paid for a subscription, if I want to have the app notify me of new issues, the developer requires me to give them an email address. My other apps are able to notify me without collecting an email address.

Never again. This is the worst app. I can never read my magazines without hunting over and over. It always tells me I have no magazines when I have four. I want my money back and as much as I love simply knitting I won't buy anymore as long as they see fit to take my money and torture me with this app. I'd rather have a PDF.

I like paper magazines, but this is a great alternative. Im finding it more difficult to find magazines at the store. This site has more options, that i didnt know about, on the hobbies i am interested in.

Needs work. The reading experience is good, but the front end is terrible. No matter what issue I tap in my “My Latest Issues” it takes me a folder for the publication with the west on top instead of the actual magazine I tapped. Nearly every time I open a magazine the app crashes. There’s no way to download more than one issue at a time, the only way to trigger a download is to open a magazine and each time you return to the folder containing the magazines it takes you back to the top so you are constantly scrolling down to get older editions. A feature I do like is Article View which allows you to read the articles without any formatting. There’s also an option for the app to read the article aloud but it uses the most robotic voice imaginable. This app needs some professional help.

What a discovery!. I recently discovered Pocket Mags. I was looking for magazines to read on my kindle and found this app. It’s fantastic! Very easy to navigate and I love having my magazines at the touch of a finger. No more stacks of magazines!

New updates letting you down. I have subscribed to PocketMags+ for years, I really enjoy the app, and the new updates. That being said, in the last few weeks, Tech has let you down. They removed the “trash can” in the “manage download” section, making it impossible to removed magazines as you read them. Please reinstall this function. Three days ago the update made it impossible to download certain magazines. I enjoy the LCBO magazine from Canada, which you offer free on the app. The new 2023 Winter edition of this magazine will not download.

Excellent app for digital subscriptions. I love this app to maintain and read my magazines subscriptions. I have never had a single issue with this app in any of my four monthly magazines subscriptions. I like the fact that you can see one or two pages at the same time. Easy to zoom on the pages when you need it.

Love / Hate. Love the magazines. Hate that they “disappear” after I look at them - I mostly buy pattern magazines and frequently reference them. Hate that I can’t print the patterns from magazines so I don’t have to constantly pull them up to review and I can’t mark off items as I complete them. Thank you for such a convenient source for so many crafts.

No longer works on M1 iPad Pro. App worked great on my older iPad Pro 11”, but now that I’ve upgraded to a new M1 iPad Pro, I can’t get the app to open at all, it just crashes immediately upon launch. I’m going to have to cancel my open subscription because it becomes useless if I can’t actually use what I’m buying. Will reconsider if this gets fixed, but for now, it’s 1 star.

Bugs with bookmarks in landscape mode. If you bookmark with the app in landscape mode (2 pages onscreen), the bookmarks get set to some page number greater than the number in an issue. Needless to say the bookmark doesn't work. If you bookmark in portrait mode it works as expected. Believe this was introduced in a (semi)recent update. As the "contact us" link in app is also bugged out, leaving this as a review.

Great app for mobile browsing. There’s not really more that I would want out this app. You can read your magazine as formatted by the publisher, or in a special mobile friendly article view; these views are easy to switch between. It makes the magazines easily accessible in a mobile format.

Love this app. Love this app as it allows access to magazines that are hard to find on other electronic readers. One photo magazine from the UK I became a big fan of on another platform, was discontinued on that platform. I was able to find it on this app and at a cheaper rate. With the subscription I purchased, I also gain access to other publications that are hard to find, at the price of the single subscription I was paying on my other reader.

Super. I love this app. I read several mags regularly with this and love the way I can get around. One thing that would be nice would be a way of bookmarking an article and storing the bookmarks in a separate file so I could search for selected articles from a series of mags, not just the one I have open.

Huge improvements made. The last series of updates, fixed the crashing issue that I had for ages, and finally a bulk download feature is available. Cannot ask for more. Well done Pocketmags. I really enjoy using this app again.

Opens World Of Reading. Wonderful daily dose of information. I read and enjoy magazines I did not know about or would never purchase individually.

Love this app. There are several British magazines that I really love but cannot easily buy in the US. “Olive” is my favorite cooking magazine and I love that I can read it here. There are several other magazines I can only get here. I subscribe to a few and a few others I buy issue by issue, depending on content.

One stop for all my best magazines!. What appeals to me personally about Pocketmags is having one location to go to check on any new editions available for download on my subscriptions. It’s nice to have individual apps that support their individual magazine as well. It’s nice having an interface that allows me to see all my favorite subscriptions at a glance, observe any new editions I may have somehow missed the notification of their coming available, then immediately download it into my personal library. Later, it can be accessed by my Pocketmags app, or by the particular magazines app. seamlessly. Navigation and search is intuitive in nature which enriched my experience as a subscriber. Navigation, utilizing the digital version of my magazines is nicely interactive as well. This allows a more immersive reading experience. PocketMags App Is Great!. The PocketMags app is a great and inexpensive way to read the digital versions of your favorite magazines. As a music fan, I find it a convenient way to read the digital copies of Uncut, Mojo and Vintage Rock magazine. Highly recommended.

Scorned Lover. I loved this app but now I’m just frustrated. I downloaded the app and created an account on my iPhone. The username/password were saved on my phone and I’ve successfully purchased/subscribed to several magazines without an issue. Now, when I want to buy a magazine through their website vs. the app (because it’s cheaper), I’m told I don’t have an account with Pocketmags. I created an account through the website .. but now it doesn’t sync with my Pocketmags app. I’ve gone round and round via email trying to get this figured out and gotten no where. I don’t understand why there isn’t a phone number to call and speak with someone in person instead of waiting a day for each response. Sincerely, Frustrated.

Like it overall. I wish they could add in a search feature for key words. If I know what story and not sure where it is if I run a search it would make it easier to use.

Right now, 1 star is too many - yesterday it would have been 5. The Pocketmags Plus app has stopped working. I’ve been a subscriber for years, with no serious problems. But when I tried to go on yesterday, it announced I had no magazines available. I think I have 30 “favorite”d Thinking maybe it was an internet glitch, I let it be and tried again today. Had the same problem on all my devices (although everything works on my computer - shame thats not at all portable!). I reinstalled the app, and that seems to have made things worse. - the Plus page been stuck on a “loading” screen for hours. Plus, before I could at least access the magazine I was in the middle of reading. Now that’s gone as well. I emailed customer service but received what was clearly an old automatic reply saying replies were delayed by “the holiday period.” Labor Day was days ago… I wonder which one they mean? 72 hours seems to be the minimum wait for assistance - so that’s at least three days out of the latest month I paid for.

If I could rate it a zero stars I would.. If I could rate it a zero stars I would. I’ve been trying to access a single magazine for 5 days, and I’m getting nowhere with the company. I wasn’t allowed to register without getting a free magazine. I didn’t want any of the free/complimentary magazines, but the site wouldn’t let me proceed without choosing one. In addition, when I bought my singe issue decor magazine, I found out after the fact that I can ONLY view it in Pocketmags.

Very Slow Magazine Download. This app is nearly worthless, making a subscription to magazines through this company also worthless! Even using my 600 Mbs network connection, my subscribed magazine pages download so slowly that even overnight they have not downloaded and so are not accessible. I do NOT recommend this app or magazine subscription from this company!

Pocketmags - love this app. I’ve used this app to purchase and view a number of magazines that weren't even available by other means and have been very happy with its pricing and interface. It’s my go to for back issues of my favorite mags and works great on iPads, even older models.

Great but…. Don’t get me wrong, having a digital version of my favorite guitar magazines is fantastic… I don’t have anywhere to store hard copies. Taking a star off because the reader experience could be improved- for example if I want to download and print a guitar lesson I can only 2 two pages at a time- it’s a lot of work and wasted time I just can’t afford. Let me chose a range of pages— come on now!

Pocket mags BRM. Been enjoying this app for a number of years now and it’s been enjoyable and easy to use. The latest usage has been reading the digital version of BRITISH RAILWAY MAGAZINE on my tablet and it has worked flawlessly.

Wood turning. I really like the magazine about wood turning I used to get the other magazine before they went out of business now this the only one I get the digital copy about 2 months before the paper copy is at the news stand there is so much information and a lot of projects I like to try

Pocket Mags, a great on the go magazine App. This is an amazing app. Especially for someone like me who uses this app on a daily basis to keep myself up to date on the prices of and latest information about one of my great passions, sports cards and collectibles. The app allows me to check on pricing for my baseball card purchases before I make the purchase with the peace of mind I am paying a fair price by using the prices in Beckett Baseball Card Monthly. I love the app and would recommend it to anyone with a sports card collection if only to see what a fair market value could be on one’s entire collection.

Poor navigation, difficult to use. I'm trying to like this app, but on a mac laptop, the navigation is quite poor. I've purchased a number of magazines, so I must use it, which is frustrating. I'd so much prefer to be able to have the mags as pdf's.

Like it but needs a fix. Overall the app is very good. Easy to navigate and works well. I do find that it crashes mid magazine more often then before. I have archived my mags but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. When I reopen the app it goes back to where it crashed, it’s just annoying to have to restart it often. If this were fixed I would give it five stars.

Good but crashes. Great app but initially it crashed a lot. I had to read my mags through a browser. Looks like they are planning on making some improvements, so looking forward to that

Wonderful app. I am very happy with the efficiency and the selection of the app. Only once there was a mistake on my renewal date but then it was corrected.

Great way to have mags at finger tips. I travel a lot for biz, so it’s nice to have my favorite magazines at my finger tips during long flights. No problems with functionality and I have gotten good support in the rare case of problems. All in all, I’m happy with the app!

Works again as it should. I reported a bug which led to the app crashing yesterday and today a new release has been posted. That’s excellent customers’ servcice. Thank you very much!

Great app. I like this because I do not haveto go to a bookstore and hope that it carries the magazine. I had problems with that in the past. Once I figured out how to move pages, etc. it is great!

Magazine Heaven. Great selection of magazines! I would rather have a magazine in hand to read, but our inept postal system can’t deliver them without magazines being torn up and damaged! 😡 I haven’t had any issues with the app so far.

All my fave’s in one place. For me it’s the convenience of having all my favorite mags in one place! There’s no oh shoot I left it at home and I can bring them ALL with me without worrying about carrying the weight.

Can’t restore purchases… STILL. Here it is a month later and I still cannot restore a purchase on my iPad that was made on my iPhone. This is definitely a SCAM that will be reported to Apple. —— Error. Error. Error… I’ve tried this on two other devices, both of which give errors. This is starting to look like a scam to get you to create an account. I purchased as a guest directly through the app and should be able to restore purchases like every other in-app purchase.

No more running around to read my fav magazines!. The app is convenient, simple to use. Reading my magazines on the app allows me more times to read more articles, during short work breaks, or while waiting in my parked car. Times the printed magazines are piled on my den’s shelf.

Digital changed it all. Getting magazines in the mail was wonderful but it is a new day. I love all these issues at my fingertip with this app. Simply wonderful!

Recommended. In my so far limited experience, this app does not deserve the universal criticisms of other reviews. I discovered this app only after trying to purchase a digital copy of a magazine from this source through Safari on an iMac running Yosemite and on an iPad Air running the latest iOS, both attempts being blocked in some way that I was unable to diagnose. Then, having discovered this app, I was discouraged by the adverse reviews and its very poor star ratings in the Apps Store. However, having failed through Safari there seemed nothing to be lost in trying the free app, so I installed it and am very glad I did so. I was able to select a sample free magazine edition to download from a choice of 17 and it downloaded speedily and was presented in the app in a pleasing manner. I then found the magazine and edition I wanted and purchased it through my iTunes account. Like the free sample, it downloaded speedily and was displayed in an excellent manner. I have not used the app long enough as yet to warrant a 5-star award but I can thoroughly recommend it and the ease with which it provides access to many magazines.

Reading App. I find this a great app - low cost to purchase magazines - I travel a lot and by using this app I have all the magazines in the one place - easy to read and vey confident - highly recommend

Works well for me. I have been using the app for 1 year now and have been very happy with it. The app also recovered the magazines I had purchased through the now defunct Aeromodeller app which was a welcome surprise. I also like the “Article view” feature that operates with some art magazines. It can make them a bit easier to read on a 10” iPad.

App crashing. Unfortunately the app is crashing when i am trying to go back to the library. Is it quite annoying. Other than that it is fine.

Not happy. This app will not work on my iPad. I can only see a small section of the magazine at a time. I've just purchased a years subscription to a magazine and can't read it on your app! How can this be fixed? So disappointed

Great app for magazine subs.. I subscribe to a monthly artist magazine and I love getting my email prompt to checkout each new issue. I find its a reliable platform to view the articles and the journal often includes extra content to the digital platform. Its great having all issues in same place for reference…the hard copies would likely be all over my place!

Update FAILURE. What once was a good app has failed catastrophicaly, I am forced to RE download EVERY issue again! That's could be understandable, BUT the new app fails to download issues, so much so, that after 5 days I still had no issues to read. Now, in week 2 still I can't get at my subscriptions, and their customer support say that maybe in a month they might have a new app that fixes this. AVOID THIS A new app in 2104, are you serious? PATHETIC

Beware! Poor customer service.. Beware subscribing to magazines with Pocketmags. I subsribed to a magazine that stopped production before I even got one issue... Pocketmags didn’t advise me of this. When no issues were released I had to contact the publisher, who said it had ceased production and by then it was past the 90 day limit for refunds. Nobody at Pocketmags contacted the subscribers to inform them, three months later! I had to spend hours online with Apple because Pocketmags would do nothing, zero, zilch but offer me another magazine... so just be aware you might find yourself with nothing if you shell out money up front...

Impossible to understand pricing. Very very difficult (if not impossible) to understand the costs involved, how to monitor and control these. And I consider myself to be very IT literate.

Convenient app. I use this app for a regular monthly magazine. I’m always notified of the next publication and download is quick and easy. A very convenient way to get my regular magazine.

Fantastic!. I have subscriptions across a number of music magazines and they arrive promptly with prior email notification. Regular offers and back issue sales are attractive and inexpensive. Any minor issues are fixed promptly and the helpline is quick and courteous.

Even after latest update it still Won't load magazines. A potentially great app but just refuses to load the magazines. Tried on several iPads and with new IOS updates. Makes no difference. Hope the fix it soon :)

Great for mag reading on iPad. The PocketMags app is easy to use and a great way to manage digital subscriptions (which are often much cheaper than the paper version - and, of course, more eco-friendly). It’s convenient, loads fast and is easy to navigate. Recommended.

Purchase receipts need additional info. Dear Sir/Madam, When purchasing a digital mag subscription the title of the purchase needs to be included as part of the information on purchase receipt. As part of the apple invoice. Regards Paul

A so-so app. This app is a convenient way to read magazines, but the interface and perhaps the coding could be improved. The interface always opens at the ‘shop’, and doesn’t seem to be possible to set it to open at your ‘library’. Downloads (in Australia) are slow, and resolution can be poor. Odd behaviour occurs when magnifying a page, often leading to a jump to some different page. Although cheaper than paper, recently it won’t load anything at all.

Great App Response Support. Everything in one place. Includes some hard to find or hard to subscribe to products. When I raised a problem with one of their Mags I contacted them and it got fixed, they reached out to the publisher.

Poor technical support. I continue to experience log in issues using my iPad whereby my password is not recognised but I can log in without issues on my Windows laptop. I've contacted support several times seeking advice/support on the issue but they have ignored me. I assume the problem relates to the iOS operating system and possibly my internet connection configuration as I can log when tethering to my iPhone. Any decent app developer would be interested in investigating problems experienced by customers/users but given the wall of silence, apparently not on this issue.

Can’t even login. An app’s basic requirement is to be able to let subscribers login. It just won’t let me do that.

Too hard to use. Not working for me. It’s not intuitive. Paid for an annual subscription and so far got nothing to show for it.

Unsuccessful app. App doesn't show mags subscribed 2 annually, nor back issues bought, "download previous purchases" link shows that my library is empty (but the specific magazine app (not associ8ed with pocket mags thru whom I bought all mags) shows all my purchases) ... pocket mags help line hasn't acknowledged help request, slow 2 respond/no response in fact.

Terrible user experience. Trying to read a favourite mag through this app is an appalling experience. Multiple downloads which freeze, needing to register to another site, an "app within newsstand", bad UI and unable to restore purchases. Lots of simple things not working. Support are helpful but they're dealing with a fundamentally flawed product. These reviews should be available at the time of buying a subscription to the mag: I've wasted money. Avoid this app.

Waiting forever. My magazine has been on the shelf for two weeks now and still hasn't come available on this app. This happens every month. I would be better off buying it at the newsagency

Same old issues. I was told to download this by pocketmags support as I can't download mags in newsstand. Same old issues, nothing downloads! Why break newsstand and make their own app is beyond me? Apple needs to pull this and all pocketmags apps as they just don't work and send some devs over to fix this cluster***k! I have subscriptions that I can't access new or old mags I've bought, it's a waste of money and basically selling faulty goods

Doesn’t Open Properly. I recently subscribed to FlyPast and find the app almost useless. Sometimes it opens, most times it doesn’t. Very frustrating.

Pocketmags. What a great way to get these mags without paying duties an broker fees. I purchase Weathering by AMMO and Damaged by AK and this app lets me get my choice an refer to it digitally!

No option to reset password. This app worked well enough but when I got a new iPad I was prompted to put in my password which I forgot. With no option to reset it . The app is useless to me so Im deleting sand moving on.

Constantly Crashing. This app used to be stable, not sure what changed, can barley download an issue without it crashing 3+ times on ios. pretty disappointing

Changing my review…. I’ve been purchasing magazines from this app for years now. But now it goes through Apple and it’s affected my account. I don’t understand why you have suddenly started doing this? I will no longer be purchasing magazines from you after this.

Keeps freezing. As soon as I open the app to read one of my purchased magazines, it freezes. Cannot do anything except close the app.

Constantly crashing. I do love the app, tons of content to enjoy but the app constantly crashes…I mean like every few min, it’s extremely frustrating.

Love the App. Great app. But would like to see a progress bar for mags I’m reading or at a minimum some form of marking magazines as read.

Excellent magazine subscription app. Lots of magazines to choose from, quick to download and the magazines easy to navigate. Excellent customer service.

Unable to print article. This app imposes restrictions that do not exist if you receive the printed mags. For example only authorizes to print 2 pages at a time. Why not authorize printing entire article which can be many pages (8-15 pages happens) or simply remove any restrictions.

The app that keeps on crashing. This app would be wonderful except for the fact that it keeps on crashing- it is impossible to use!

Crashes & resets. I heard from the developer to let me know that they read my criticism and made changes to the app. I am revising my rating and upgrading it to a 4 star. This update to the app seems to solve my two concerns. I learned on my own that the crashes I was experiencing was partially because I use a VPN. There are no related warnings for those experiencing crash issues that a VPN could affect the performance of the app... this should be included in the app literature.

Great selection, easy to use. Love Pocketmags they have a great selection for all my interests, cooking, crafts, travel, womens interests etc. Have no hesitation recommending this app to anyone.

Pocketmags is a great App. This is a great way to browse and buy your magazines. I have some subscriptions and I buy some mags after browsing through to see if there is enough content that I am interested in. You never miss an issue and it is substantially cheaper than hard copies and more environmentally friendly. You can also zoom in on pictures, for example on plastic model airplanes to see more detail in a way that you can not on hard copies.

Massive problems. I have been attempting to use the app on multiple iPads/iPhone and it keeps losing magazines. Also now it is only possible to view a few mags and not past editions. Just using the App and sizing is also awful. Please revise

Terrible App. Slow. Incredibly slow to load, each step along the way. And they make you take 3 exhaustingly slow steps simply to read your own subscriptions. As for downloading to read offline….I have NEVER been able to do that. When I go to “manage downloaded magazines” the only option given is to delete them, not read them. The magazines themselves are enjoyable, but not worth the frustration

Plus service does not load !. As others have noted app is poorly executed. Signed up for Plus and it would not open any of the additional magazines just the ones I had subscriptions for prior.

Impossible to cancel subscriptions. Automatically renew subscriptions. Difficult or impossible to cancel through the Apple store. Scamming customers.

Indispensable app!. Being a fan of Guitarist magazine for years, this app has allowed me to keep the most recent issue downloaded and available on all my electronic devices! I get prompted when the latest issue is available and download and read the second it’s out. It keeps my issues organized and always ready. Love this app!

A Great App. Works between phone, tablet or computer and is super easy to use.

Someday it will load. I am sure that this would be a great app. If it ever loaded without crashing. I am only using this company because it has the magazine that I wanted, for another magazine I would recommend not using Pocketmags. There is always an issue when trying to read my subscription.

Simple and convenient. A more affordable way to get the magazines I couldn’t stop buying, and no piles of paper in the apartment. Plus, I can go back and look at old issues with no loss of storage space! My only complaint is that facing pages don’t always line up correctly, which spoils the pictures which are a major part of the car magazines I read.

Hard to cancel. Im not able to cancel my membership. Make it complicated so you still pay

Great support and service. Awesome app. I have been a subscriber to four magazines on this app now for several years and these people behind it have never disappointed. I’ve rarely had an issue but when one has occurred, the response to any inquiry and results following are always immediate and complete. Great app !!

Worst Magazine App ever!. Does not even deserve 1 star. App is old and clunky. Deletes all your downloads when you re-login. Customer support is non-exisistant. I went so far as tweeting the CEO and CIO for help and did not even receive the courtesy of a response.

Pocket mags delivers. I would like to express how nice this app really is. The content is delivered without difficulty and ready for reading. I have several different reading app subscriptions and am happy to note that Pocketmags is well worth a reader’s joy!

Quite bad compared to the competition. Ok, I've been reading HiFi+ through the Apple Newsstand for quite awhile but it recently started failing an I couldn't load or read the latest edition reliably. When it did (briefly) it looked good. In desperation I downloaded the Pocket Mags app and now it downloads ok (albeit very slowly) and will let me read it. However, the text is fuzzy on my retina iPad in normal view and spindly and thin in zoomed view. You can't pop out of the app and then back in because the app closes the mag you are reading and goes back to the home view. There is potential here but an update better be coming soon or my subscription will be cancelled. I have used Zinio for years with no problems at all. Get with it guys!

Horrible app. Ordered magazines and they do not appear in app, no help or instructions. Why not allow to download into ebooks on Apple?

App on iOS will not close. When reading an issue of a magazine there doesn’t appear to be a way to exit to your library. Instead I have to force close it every time then open the App again to get the next issue.

My subscriptions are not listed in this app. I downloaded 3 different miniaturist magazine apps. All offer an option to read my subscriptions if I am a member of this app. So I download this app, only to find that none of my magazines really are listed here. Waste of time.

FABULOUS MAGAZINE RESOURCE. It has all my faves and you can purchase and download individual mahazines or subscribe and everything transpires smoothly and dependably. A wonderful app.

Opens and crashes. I downloaded the app to read some of the magazines I got a subscription to, and it crashes as soon as it opens. Tried uninstalling and restarting my phone but does the same. I honestly can’t give anymore review about the app itself cause it crashes before I can do anything.

Very hard to cancel subscriptions.. Very difficult to cancel a subscription. I had to dispute the surprise recurring transaction through my credit card and I’m still not even sure if I’ll get the money back. Shady practices. Don’t bother.

Pocketmags. After some Tec help, reading and navigating is a snap! Looking forward to reading again.

Good ipad magazine app. Good: fast loading; remembers last page viewed; easy subscription management; simple magazine navigation. Bad: 1. can take a long time to search what's downloaded and even then sometimes it can't find any and you have to search again; 2. it's not clear the difference between delete and archive .. they both remove the mag from device and allow viewing the mag again later.

So Far, So Good. I have been using the app for about 1 month and have had no issues with it. Intuitive and easy to navigate.

Vet difficult to login. This app is very difficult. If you’re buying a magazine you should first check to see if the magazine is in the App Store itself and avoid this complicated front end ~ wish I did before I subscribed through this thing.

Very Slow Magazine Download. This app is nearly worthless, making a subscription to magazines through this company also worthless! Even using my 600 Mbs network connection, my subscribed magazine pages download so slowly that even overnight they have not downloaded and so are not accessible. I do NOT recommend this app or magazine subscription from this company!

Car mags. This app is hands down the best app for reading car mags! Better than the Porsche Club mag app in every way.

No longer works on M1 iPad Pro. App worked great on my older iPad Pro 11”, but now that I’ve upgraded to a new M1 iPad Pro, I can’t get the app to open at all, it just crashes immediately upon launch. I’m going to have to cancel my open subscription because it becomes useless if I can’t actually use what I’m buying. Will reconsider if this gets fixed, but for now, it’s 1 star.

Freezes too often. Often freezes on iPad. Can’t even load my magazines right now. Sad that this is my only choice of apps to access my mobile magazines.

Subscription not available to be used. Purchased subscription to Atomic Ranch through Apple ID, was not allowed to read any articles through AR specific app nor the pocket mags app and the help section could not provide assistance. Subscription refund requested.

Worse app and non responsive support. Zinio and Mags apps are better… I paid for subscriptions but sometimes I get them sometimes I don’t. Syncing issues across my devices etc…support doesn’t really support or respond in a timely manner. However, after much complaining, I have received a full refund.

This app is the best for reading N-Photo magazine. For a very low price I was able to get all 154 magazines! Highly recommended.

Bug on latest release. None of the pages display any more. Until you delete each issue and redownload it.

Poor navigation, difficult to use. I'm trying to like this app, but on a mac laptop, the navigation is quite poor. I've purchased a number of magazines, so I must use it, which is frustrating. I'd so much prefer to be able to have the mags as pdf's.

Portrait mode only?. Been using for years. Keep waiting for landscape. And waiting. And waiting. And I'm tired of waiting, which means I'll be getting my content elsewhere from now on. It's unfortunate that content subscriptions are tied your garbage platform. I regret every purchase I've made through your party-like-it's-2009 app.

True crime buff...... Amazing app with great digital mag prices. I love this app although sometimes it crashes on me. I hope this kink can be resolved by next month.

No Free Issues. I would expect the 30 day free trial to include at least one free issue of our choosing for it to be a “trial”. With so many other apps to choose from that are fully free to premium apps that have an “included free” section, I don”t see the purpose of PocketMags. Thank you.

Have worked great! Update. I’m able to get an equestrian magazine from the UK at my fingertips every week. Have had no problems! Update: upgraded to plus and still in 1st month free trial. Got confirmation from apple 3 days ago and still have no access to plus magazines.

Terrible experience, avoid at all costs. New magazines never come across to the app, have to call customer service for them to “force” a magazine into my account; every issue. And trying to cancel a subscription, can’t think of a more difficult awkward process. Stay away!
