One little flaw. Dude keep up the good work I love the game I have ADHD and have nowhere to be creative and this game finally brought me to a place I could,it's just that I already paid for the game and don't want to pay again to get more levels. please consider changing it

Boring. I loved this game on Nintendo and was excited to get it on my phone. For the first couple of days it was great, but having to repeat the levels 3 times makes it boring. I've kept for awhile thinking I'll want to play again, deleting now as it's just a waste of space.

The only thing giving this a three star is nostalgia. I don’t know if this is happening to anyone else but whenever I complete a level and I press ‘OK’ to go to the level selection to proceed to the next level it just restarts the level and only after about three or four times pressing ‘OK’ will it take me back it’s not at all enjoyable

More avatars. I really love this game but I don't have the money to buy things,if you could add in a avatar pack that's free that would be nice and be able to play the entire game for free. You could also add in a menu where you could create your own character

Awesome plain awesome. First off let me tell everybody who is say that this is a cash grab it is not I understand that you do not want to pay for more levels but it is only a dollar also you do not have to have the skins. But back to the point this is an awesome game that I love. Me and my friend like to play it but because of the coronavirus we have to do it over zoom. I have a couple of suggestions, first can you make more levels and second can you make a multiplayer mode that you can build a world with friends in. I love the game and keep the levels coming.

Good game, but it starts to get bland.... Over time, after you complete all the levels and replay them, the game gets boring. I played on the empty maps for awhile after completing all the missions, but then it just felt empty after a long time of playing. Besides the game getting boring overtime, this game is mostly worth the money and it’s fun if you want to get creative. Though, if anything, I highly recommend the sequel over this game.

Love it!. I also own scribblenauts unlimited and I have a 3ds and own scribblenauts unmasked. This one is my favorite! 1. You can dig holes! 2 you can play unique levels, 3, so many skins! But one question, is there a way to add adjectives?

An Insanely Good Cartoon Like Game.. 😄. The games very unique in many ways. I luv how u can make anything! Just like ur imagination. The games very cartoonish and smooth, kinda like subway surfers. It was cartoony and very smooth. That also one of my fav games. But my personal fav thing bout this game is that it’s characters. The characters remind me of my child hood.. which makes me happy. That u scribblnauts 🙏🙏🙏 .. I’m 10 years old and I wrote this :) ..

Great game but. It's a great game I fell in love with it but if you want the game to last a long time you have to pay for all maps but it's one'll 99 cents and you have to pay for more skins it's like Minecraft you have to pay for packs I think there 5 packs of skins but if you want to get them all at the same time you have to pay 3 or 4$ but each pack is 99cents so if you willing to pay a few bucks for a great game your in luck 🤘🏻👍

Great game but.... Ive had this game before and it was fun... Until i beat all the levels, i think they should add a free roam feature to let people do little tasks that are all different to help keep the game fun also adding a place to customize Maxwell wouldn't hurt

This game was great a few years ago. Really needs some new content.. This was my favorite game for many years and got me interested in other scribblenauts games. However, this game hasn’t been given new content in a VERY long time and doesn’t even work properly for iPhone X, XS, XR, etc users. Please add some new levels or content!

Problem.... I used to have this before I deleted it for storage, it was really fun! I recently decided to download it again, but this time, whenever I click on the notepad button, I try to draw something, even perfectly normal items that are in the game, and it just won’t work. It does nothing, and there’s no way to exit the screen after that without restarting the app. I would give 5 stars, and I still will give 3, but this problem REALLY needs to be fixed.

Super fun!. I really like this game and the mind set that is has! Having the power to create pretty much anything you want just by thinking about it is really cool to me swimming as I really like to draw and think and use my imagination.

Great game! But.... My friend used to have this game and I loved it so much! I decided to download it on my own, but for some reason, it won’t let me in! I tried restarting my phone, clearing out the app and all the other apps, but it just won’t work! 😫 But I did love it when I could play. Anyone have any advice? Thanks😄💖 JUST FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM. Eeeeehhh.... I LOVE the Scribblenauts engine and the fact that you can create anything you want whenever you want. But I feel like Remix is sorta lacking in the freedom to do whatever you want, unlike Unlimited or Unmasked. It seems like the most linear Scribblenauts game I've played, and I'm guessing most of you don't doubt it. So that's why it has 3/5 stars.

DON’T GET WITH IOS 11 it crashes every time!!. It crashes every time on the last screen title before the game and it’s really annoying!!! I haven’t even got to play it yet!! I think it doesn’t work with iOS 11 bc everyone in the reviews who said they have iOS 11 (including me) has the same problem! But it does work for my brother who doesn’t have iOS 11... I wish we could get refunds😭

Money grab. I used to like this game when I played it on my Nintendo DS because it was so unique and cool. Now it’s on the App Store and I thought I’d pick it up to see what has changed. First of all, you have to pay money to buy the app, which is fine, it’s a good game. I then found out that the first purchase only unlocks 5 levels. Frustrated, I forked out some money to pay for the expansion. Playing through the levels, I realized that the devs really hadn’t spent much time at all creating them and the game started to feel a bit cheap and repetitive. As time went on, I started to lose interest, but then something new sparked my interest. IT COSTS EVEN MORE MONEY IF YOU WANT MAXWELL TO HAVE A DIFFERENT SKIN. They made stupid skin packs with like 9 skins that cost a dollar each. If the expansion thing wasn’t too much, this was for sure. This game has a thumbs down from me now.

Used to love it until now. I recently got this game back because I used to love it so much. I was unpleasantly surprised to find that this game is fundamentally broken. Whenever I beat a level I press “OK” to move on, but I just go back to the same level. I try to beat it the same way and I’m unable to because I’m given a message of “already used that” when I spawn things in. Is this part of the game? If not then this must be fixed. It makes the game unplayable.

Broken.... It worked fine for a long time but after not using it for a while, I logged back in and it just wouldn’t let me progress. I’ve completed world one and the first two levels of the second world and have crowns on all of them but the rest of the levels won’t unlock. I’ve tried to reach customer service but I’ve had no luck at all.... so the game is unplayable now. :/

Could be better.. Basically scribblenauts limited with restrictions and no gripping story and very little motivation. Since Scribblenauts unlimited is by far their most sucsessful and remembered game (in my opinon) I understand this game would be something they would leave as it is, but it needs less limitations. However, with less limitations, it would just be scribblenauts unlimited so, I can’t think of any way I would fix the game personally. If your looking for a time killer, consider it, but if your looking for something more, not worth your time or money.

Bruh. You guys took my money and now you want more just so I can have the full game, dang talk about greed. See it’s funny cause if you guys made the game $2 you could’ve gotten away with it but the fact that you are making us spend another dollar for a “””level pass””” is dumb. Great Game! However.... I’ve gotten scribblenauts multiple times on different devices, and I absolutely loved it! The idea of having the power to make almost anything you can think of (ex. a giant friendly rainbow llama?) is amazing to me! I especially love playing this with my little brother. Unfortunately, this game is costly. First, the game itself costs 99¢, which to me isn’t that big of a deal. However, they proceed to charge for worlds, skin packs, and other silly things. What I personally would suggest is maybe making the game cost $1.50-$1.99 just so you can have the overall game itself. It’s better to do this than to keep doling out money just so you can keep playing a great game that harnesses imagination very well!

Great game. Needs a comeback.. I remember playing this game as a youngster on my iPod. Really needs to make a comeback. A shame that there are no longer updates and some of the levels are broken. If the developers even read these, keep developing, or sell the game to someone who will.

It’s alright. Why are all of the levels unlocked?? and why are there only 4 characters there should be more characters in the game and why can’t you create your own world

Suggestions. I think that the game could use some more cool things like an actual steam shovel, looking like Mary Anne, because I got an excavator when I put in steam shovel; maybe there should be more things added to the game

Great game, but.... This was an amazing game! It lets imagination run wild. I love this game! There is something I do not like though. This game already costs money, but then there is a lot of in app purchases. They only give you 3 boy avatars, and give you a girl if you sign up for something! There are many more avatars, but you have to purchase them in packs! Plus, they only give you 5 worlds to play at, unless you want to purchase more! I think that if you make someone purchase an app for money they should get the unlimited plan. This game is great, but they are crazy to make people have to buy stuff in a game that cost money. 😤😤😤

App glitches out. I love this game however once you get to a certain level the app glitches out like crazy, I can no longer keep the app open because it kicks me out in the middle of the game. Such a bummer since I paid extra for more levels. Please fix

It’s ok........ When I first got the game I was excited for my friend telling me about it but then it costed money. All of the other good games that i play are super fun but don’t cost money. I started playing the game and thought this is a fun game so people who don’t have the money to just buy it can’t play it. Then all of the people who aren’t allowed to buy apps or just this game are missing out in the fun with this game.

This is a Con-Job, Unlimited is Better. This Remix version of Scribblenauts is just manipulative I believe. You pay an initial purchase price and you do not receive the full game. If you want more money as a developer, then please just up the initial price. Nickel 'n' diming us with in-app purchases is seriously crooked and distasteful in my opinion. Not that acting shady has ever been an issue for most modern video game developers though, sadly. Trying to find scruples in today's game creators is as hard as trying to find authenticity or intelligence in the world of reality-television. If you enjoy the Scribblenauts series, I'd recommend the first iteration released, Scribblenauts Unlimited, over this lackluster version. Though, I don't actually see the first version on the App Store anymore. Which is most likely because the developer is aware that this version is far inferior to the first release. And they don't want to give anyone the option anymore to just pay one price for a good game. The fact that the original doesn't seem to be offered anymore just exemplifies my point about how crooked this company truly is I believe. Luckily I had already purchased Scribblenauts Unlimited in the past, so I'm still able to download the game. I feel bad other newcomers do not have that same option now. I'd say, though, if this is your first foray into the Scribblenauts series, that I just would not recommend Scribblenauts Remix at all. I believe all this poor iteration will do is leave you with a bad taste of what the IP is in this form. Whereas, I believe that earlier titles really could showcase the fun that was possible in these video games. So, again, this version is a hard pass for me and I regret that I spent any money here. It feels like a complete waste of money ultimately. If you happen to own a handheld Nintendo console/device, just buy one of the Scribblenauts games for that instead is what I'd recommend. Because what you end up with in Remix is a pathetic shame by an reasonable measure. I give this game two big thumbs down 👎🏻👎🏻.

Buggy and broken and unplayable. The screen is buggy with the size and placement of things and when you touch something you have to tap to the left of it in order to hit it was really looking forward to playing this and can't..... Seems it needs to be updated and set to fit the larger screen. Edit: Still not really fixed, also please fix it to fit iPhone x

Ok (devs pls read). When I was browsing for games on the store; I saw this. At first, I thought it would be like old times, as I had this game on several other devices. Sadly, it never was. I thought it can’t be much worse on iPhone, but I was wrong. It is still fun, but not worth the 99 cents I paid for it. A thing I would change is a free play mode.

Great! But.... I love Scribblenauts! It's a great way to think outside the box. It's addicting, and enjoyable! But... there's only 5 worlds, and for a paid app, I think there should be more. Or, like the scribblenauts on computer, after completing all the worlds just be able to mess around with the game in a town, or anywhere in the game. Other wise, great game!

Fix this issue and I’ll give you the other four starites.. I’ve been revisiting this game and have been having a great time, however… I like to listen to podcasts on a different app while I’m playing, and for some reason, the game pauses whatever external music/podcasts/audiobooks I might be playing from another app. I have the sound turned off in the game settings, but this still happens. The game is worth 6 out of 5 stars, but this problem knocks it down to 1, unfortunately. I know the game hasn’t been updated and y’all have basically no incentive to fix this bug on my account, but it would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Bug fix. This game is cool and all, but there is one problem. Even though this game is old, I do enjoy playing it, but I keep getting kicked out of the game. Like, it literally kicks me out of the game and onto my phone home screen. Then when I go back in the game, it actually starts the game from the starting loading screen. Can you fix that please?

This was not worth .99¢. I purchased this game because I had friends play it in the past. When I got the game I could only play the first 2 levels of the 1st world. Everything else was locked. After I played those levels the others still didn’t unlock. I paid the .99¢ for the rest of he worlds but I still can’t play the first 5 worlds. This game is a total waste of money

You should be able to have everything unlocked!. If you pay for the game, the rest should be completely free! Plus, I wish the worlds where you build stuff would be bigger. I feel like you should be able to place as many items as you wish

I love it but... Umm what’s up?. PLEASE LISTEN TO ME AND READ PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!! I love this game so much. Are used to play on my DS, and it was the funnest game I had. I could explore a lot of worlds, I had a lot of characters, and I could save my world. Here’s the problem, even though this is the same game- scribblenauts remix- it’s missing a whole lot. There are so little worlds, and we can’t save them. Here’s the other thing, I loved the time machine. The time machine on my DS give us so much power. It was really cool. When we activated the Time Machine, it would pull up little buttons and show if we wanted to go to The time of the dinosaurs, mid evil time, caverns, etc. It was so much Fun to travel through the times. Everywhere you went there was something interesting to do. There was nothing to achieve, it was just like another world with things are set up. There was one in Egypt and it had lots of fruit trees and pyramids, the dinosaur one had a little dinosaur egg you could take, and there’s a whole bunch of fancy stuff. These time machines we have in an iPhone, the smarter machine, just resets our world. Here’s what I want — Monster maker machines, where we can put in a whole bunch of stuff, and it makes it into a monster or human. depending on what we put in. — A time machine with times we can actually travel to, more than three — MORE WORLDS, like a castle, or a modern-day house. The ones on my DS such as the house had more than one level, each with furniture and everything — set up more similar to the DS version —MORE CHARACTERS

I want to be able to save worlds. I personally think you should be able to save your success in scribblenaughts but the game is great. Please fix the bug when the notebook goes grey. I bought this game for my son🙇 originally because there isn't many games I can 'play' due to being criminally unable to operate complicated controls ie anything requiring two hands👐to operate individually👆👇 and separate 🙅to the other :( I have tried everything! Funnily enough I am 30yrs🙎 - I know SO FREAKING OLD 😱- but my other 30yr old friends and I can play the game... if we team up - however the iPad screen makes it very difficult to have one person operate the direction 👈👉and the other the 'go' 🚦or 'shoot' 🔫or whatever sooooooo basically I told my mom 👵I was terribly underprivileged in my childhood because I didn't play computer games hahaha She just shook her head and laughed at me.. This game is easy to operate yet so fun - and a tip to other moms 👩out there - challenge your kids 👶👯to different quests... for instance I have used use only items you could craft from nature🌴, only items you can see👀 right now, only red 🎯items, only 'real' 🐅🐇creatures as opposed to any mythical 🐉etc and even only items featured in 'Harry Potter' 👓movies bahahahahaha that one was funny as :p Anyhows it keeps us playing the game - and has done for a good while now :) The game is as varied as our imaginations 💭and therefore all but infinite 👥7 billion people x how many ideas 💡over a lifetime 👼👶👱👨👴? Too linear. What’s the point if your just gonna play on the title screen and not actually the game play unlimited if you want s good experience but before unlimited creative mode was fun but yeah....

Relic of its former glory. This game was very good in the past. In recent time, through updates, bugs were introduced so that now some levels are not marked as completed when done, advertisements interrupt gameplay with the world pass, levels are slowly added and require non-creative responses.

A little review.... Despite the amazing game-plot, I found the controls difficult to control, and some levels hard to accomplish by younger children. On the second world, the sixth level, as said by many, has a bug which crashes the app and returns us to home. With some levels, the clues are not very direct. Sometimes even with the clue, it would take me am extended period of time to search for the answer of the level. But on to the good side, this game does not require wifi to run on, thus making it one of the best games without using wifi. Hours of lasting fun if you are someone who enjoys creativity games and solving puzzles. It's well-priced for such a game, only one dollar. Hope to see more updates and big crashes throughout the game!

Good. It’s good game

Definitely gets your creative juices flowing!. Absolutely love playing this! All the creative and endless ways to complete levels makes this game special. One thing I used in the playground is "female maxwell" and all these odd things started appearing! Like a clown in a cannon, a dragon with a hard hat on, a scared girl, and a Hawaiian shirt! Try it and see what you get. :) Need to add more worlds though! Already got through them so quickly, and now it's just taking up space. Maybe something like Angry Birds where you have a star rating defined by the points you get? Would make you more willing to go back and get a higher score on each level!

Scribblenauts Remix Review. Scribblenauts first appeared on the DS, and boy, that was fun. Now this game has blossomed to be a popular sandbox game, with 4 Scribblenauts games! This ios is just as exceptional, except for the lack of things to do. These constant updates just fix bugs and being back old worlds, we need a major update! Bigger areas with people to interact with and help out and more avatars for free. I also think that you should be able to add adjectives and buffs to your avatar, it's just not the same when you're riding you fire breathing T-Rex and I don't favour all of the in app purchases, considering I already paid for this game. I mean, for more missions (the Season Pass) is $1.29 and there's about 5 avatar packs containing about five avatars each, $1.29, it just brings out the fun in the game, couldn't you at least get one pack for free? There are some major improvements needed to make this game more enjoyable to audiences, I mean the only reason we bought this game is because of its amazing gameplay on the DS. It is definitely the downgraded brother to the DS one.* 3/5 stars *And yes, I know I sound like a critical and negative person, but I'm not! I just expected more from this game because of its amazing quality on the previous version. That's all, I'm sure of it. Oh and by the way, if you haven't played Scribblenauts before, definitely play the DS version before you play this one, or if you don't have a DS, play Scribblenauts Unmasked on the Wii U, and if you don't have a Wii U, stuff it! Get this version! Can’t even load it up. This game doesn’t even deserve a star because when I try to load it up it just glitches out. I have tried deleting it and tried to do everything that I can possibly do but it won’t load up

A disgrace to the Scribblenauts name. This game is so hard I had to use a fricking guide Also it’s riddled with bugs and glitches And you have to pay to get the game, then pay to unlock the full game like why

Disappointed. Just downloaded it again after playing it a few years ago and wanting to play again. Constant asking if it can share on my behalf on Facebook. I pass levels and it just makes me keep doing the same one, not acknowledging anywhere that I completed it.

Not impressed.. Just redownloaded this after deleting it a while ago. Unskippable ads, constant pop ups asking for permission to 'post to my friends' (like I want to tell them I just created a Pegasus, then rode the Pegasus, then finished the part of the tutorial where you have to create and ride a Pegasus...???) On top of that, the sound doesn't work. I'm beginning to remember why I deleted this app...

I find it quite good in the sense that it is fun and challenging but after I bought the dlc pack1 on my iPad, it still wants me to buy the pack on my iPod!!! and also I think it was a rip offf to buy the next pack as we are already paying to get the app anyway. at this rate no one will be getting scribblenauts anymore. you really have to up the thinking and consideration of this app. otherwise i won't be buying anything from you again, scribblenauts, apps or otherwise. it was great when I first got it, but now you're trying to get MONEHHH. not going to work on me anymore to say the least. but anyway I wish you could like posts on the app store! Not compatible with iPhone X. Just downloaded this app and IT DOESNT WORK WITH MY PHONE I’ve paid for this app and I can’t even play it because it crashes every time I open up the app before I even get to the menu screen!... very disappointing

Fun but problems.... Great game! But seriously, u need to add more animal designs because when I write up meerkat, then ferret, mongoose and stoat- also red panda, they all look the same! I mean, red pandas look like orange raccoons, and stoats are mostly white. The lions mane needs to have more detail, also the animals attitude-how they act is kinda weird.. Hippos only attack when angry, and it's dumb how you cannot make real baby animals, you have to wright up baby, which is just a smaller clone of the mother or father animal. The humans and objects are fine, but I think you should change the animals a bit-and I mean a lot a bit. Also, like others said, add that thing like on unlimited on PC how you can use other parts of objects to create your own animal or object- also add it to the scribblenauts unlimited on 3DS too. the animals a bit- I mean a lot a bit.

Nice to see this game on iOS. I was surprised to see that this game made its way onto iOS. There really isn't much to say about this game outside of what other reviews have said already. The biggest issue I had with this game was the lack of content. The game can be completed literally in one sitting and it's sort of disappointing. You can replay levels and attempt to complete them in different ways, but this can only go so far before you get bored of the same puzzles over and over... Especially when a certain puzzle requires that you create a particular item or do something without variation. It destroys any sense of longevity the game may have had. Every single challenge in this game feels as though it is a tutorial, and then all of a sudden the game finishes when you feel like you're just about to get control. The most annoying levels are the ones that give you direct orders, such as delivering an item to a certain person, or placing items in a certain box. There's nothing fun about following orders, especially when you're given a checklist like it's a chore of some kind. Really, the only reason I'm being hard on this game is because it has so much potential to be absolutely fantastic. Instead, the developers squander the potential and it give us levels with very basic and mundane tasks. Some more variation, and open ended freedom would be really appreciated. I will give this app five out of five stars when they implement more levels with more freedom. As for now, this just seems like a tech demo... Not a full game.

I just brought this game expecting it to be like the old DS one, it’s not, it glitches out and every time i complete a level, it does not go onto the next level instead it repeats the level over and over, also it does not say you’ve passed the level successfully. Waste of time and money, very disappointing.

Not Good. While it is really cool and great for glitching, it just is kinda boring. Most of the levels are the same as Super Scribblenauts. You need to pay for almost everything, and it's just boring. Even though I love these games, this one was just bad. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because I'm a glitch exploiter, and this was really fun for me to glitch. Please improve this game. And add the Scribblenaut character as a free playable character instead of paid. No one is gonna buy anything on this game.

Unlimited is Unlimitedly Better. Only five stages? Five bucks? Look at Scriblenauts UNLIMITED! There you can give descriptive adjectives to already existing entities. PLUS! Super addicting but oddly worded st times. Love this game, it’s so relaxed and really lets you stretch your imagination! I’m really enjoying the ‘crown’ challenge of beating the same level 3 times in 3 different ways - it has me thinking outside my regular train of thought. Some level descriptions are deceivingly worded though; like (SPOILERS) world 2-4, an aquarium is usually just aquatic animals not any animal near water. And 3-1 where you ‘use potions on the man’ - you can use more than potions! (END SPOILERS)

The levels aren’t working. I remembered this game from the ds and forgot that I had bought it a little while back. I tried to play the levels but once I complete them, the level restarts and it doesn’t say that I completed it on the map. Some levels get stuck and even if I do the tasks correctly the doors do not open up or I do not get the star.

7-6. It won’t let me complete the level u have put it all the teachers I can think of and it won’t count then but it’s the teachers they want

Game bug. The first level of the third world is literally impossible to beat. After the first time it won't let me select any kind of potion, says I already used it. But I put different adjectives and it still says already used that. Broken level. Not happy. Fix it. Now.

Fun! but Loading Screen Bug. Greatly fun game. Running iOS 10.3.2 and on load up you're forced to click open the Lego Star Wars screen just to get past it to the actual start screen. Please fix this. Also same bug on 9.3.2. Late-May 2017.

THE GAME IS COMPLETELY BROKEN. Whenever you beat a level, it doesn’t give you any of the points and just restarts the same level in an infinite loop. This is probably the biggest bug I’ve ever seen in a professional mobile game before. This version of Scribblenauts is completely broken, DO NOT PURCHASE.

Level 1-9 is a NO GO. Was starting to like this game until me and my 4yr old son got to Level 1-9 the "Evolution Level". It is suppose to be a game but I do not want my child learning this as a Christian.. Really not that great. The game is ok. It would be fun if it required more creativity and thinking, but every level is essentially the same, even if you buy more levels. Also, the game starts pushing an agenda in the first level pack when it has an evolution level.

compatible for iPhone 7?. I loved playing this game on my iPad years ago and I got it on my iPhone 7... but the graphics are pretty blurry and there's no music? Would love if you could fix that! 3 stars for now :)

DOES NOT WORK ON IPHONE 8/X. This app crashes before you even get to the main menu. A quick internet search reveals that anybody with an iPhone X or an iPhone 8/8+ appears to have this problem. Until the publisher updates to fix this bug, DO NOT BUY. And shame on Apple for allowing the publisher to claim this works on the iPhone X/8/8+ when it doesn’t.
