Security. App is ok but remembers name and password with no way to delete it without deleting app. Should have a way to clear user info or keep app from remembering it.

Can’t access features. The video stream is usually good quality, but I can’t see a list of names of people on the call (the button does nothing). I cannot share my screen, however I understand if the last point is a limitation of iOS. Would really appreciate an update including these features.

Excellent high definition video conferencing anywhere. Portal. What does portal mean?

Worked great until latest update.... Daily user of this app on an iPad retina. Previous versions were fast and stable enough to forego using my laptop for vidyo calls. Since updating, the app is laggy and slow to respond. Note to secs, I could care less about the pretty icons and fancy, desktop like menus. As it stands, the app performs more poorly with greater frustration, but no corresponding increase in function or ease of use.

Not good. latest ver of Vidyo Desktop does not login to portal ver 2.1.3

Incredible video quality!. My iPad2 is now a telepresence endpoint! From my home office, I was able to connect with the room system at my company's office and got full HD. I was then able to join my laptop to the conference and the iPad was able to show both video streams beautifully - and this was over WiFi using my Optimum Online Internet service. I shared a PowerPoint presentation from my laptop and the hidden toolbar at the bottom of the app popped up with a new button on it. When I tapped the button, the shared content popped up. I was able to pinch to zoom and slide to scroll the presentation on my screen and when I hit the X in the upper right of the shared presentation, it went into a strip at the bottom. I was then able to double tap to recall it. This is very cool and is going to be a very handy tool. Important note though. If your employer doesn't already offer Vidyo as a service in your organization like mine does, you will have to convince your IT guys to make that happen. If you work remotely as much as I do, believe me, it's well worthwhile.

Just one problem.... I really like the Vidyo system, as it allows everyone in our company to communicate via video. I use the company's video room, my MacBook Air and my iPhone on the system. The only glitch is with the iPhone app. Every time I log off and then back on, my credentials get screwed up. The port (URL) info shows up in the password field, the password is now wrong, and my user name is wrong too. It only takes about 30 seconds to fix, cutting and pasting the info back where it belongs, but it's annoying. I'd guess it's an easy fix that they'll resolve soon.

Not good for this pandemic. I am forced to use this app for work. When this is compared to other video portals, it is absolutely the worst. The app constantly crashes, it’s not easy for my clients to install, and it doesn’t have needed features such as virtual backgrounds or the ability to share sound with the screen share. Im not sure who made this app, but It’s not the best for what we are doing in 2020-2021.

Grat app!. I’ve been using Vidyo’s products for the last year now and I can’t stop to be amazed by the great quality of the video. You cannot move to any other video conferencing mobile product after using this app! Highly recommended.

Worst app ever. Was sent this link to be able to do court over a video conference. Was never able to join. Kept saying joining and then would get no response. Can’t get connected to anything. Awful experience. Wasted 45 minutes trying to get connected

Why. Why would I want a separate on-screen keyboard from my usual one? And why would I want it to look like THAT? If Skype or Zoom is Windows 10, this app is Windows 95.

Base cert issue. Ever since new base cert applied in v 2.2.6, receive error message "unable to resolve server address" when entering portal FQDN. Cannot even get to login screen. Change base cert in iOS version!!!

Bye bye battery. Have Vidyo on premise and the app is the worst. Keeps degrading in quality and frame rate. Putting a monitor on my iPad Pro showed it using 1.5 cores of its two cores on the CPU. Battery was still draining even plugged in. Logs show lowering of frame rate due to critical CPU levels. This happens on all my devices. Video becomes unusable.

Camera won't zoom out. The service is fantastic. However on the new ipad the camera won't zoom out. The resolution is 270x360 whereas the desktop style zoom and quality is 640x480. As a result you have to keep the ipad really far away which makes it hard to see the participants. If anything can be done to fix the zoom/optimal resolution problem, I would rate this app 5 out of 5 stars.

Need a way to save h.323 to Address book. Update to 1.2.1 still broke my login on iPhone 5. It will no longer allow me to login to my company vidyo services. I know my login information works because the same login works for iPad, Mac and PC. Please fix! It would say "Sever indicates no more licenses!" When I know I have licenses available at the server and the login works on other devices. I wish there's a way to save legacy h.323 and sip numbers to address book. Also provide far end camera controls for legacy endpoints that allow it and for auto attendants that need transport control.

Bogus app. Does not work!!

Great app. Reliable and functional.

Not optimized for iPhone X. Vidyo interface is outdated and not optimized for iPhone X.

Garbage app. This app is pure trash. Either you can’t connect at all or the app just crashes upon startup. Unfortunate but completely on brand that UPMC uses this for patient visits!

Great tele presence. I have no issues at all with zoom in or out on new iPad. This is very handy when on the go. Great technology and will continue to grow.

Best Mobile Video Client. This is easily using the best technology available for mobile video. Scalable to large systems and capable of having thousands of users in one call, this is truly amazing technology. If you have used the extremely well reviewed Google Hangout you've used this technology already! It's finally here!

Poor connection ability.. My counseling office uses this app to meet with their clients. Everytime i try to log in to meet with my counselor it takes 20+ minutes to login and i give a least ten minutes ahead to login and stuff. I dont know if the app developers need to give this app an update or what but everyone is saying this works great for ios but it doesnt for mine. Very disappointed

Great video quality. Great video quality and can hear people fine, but mic doesn't always work when unmuted for iOS 9.3.1 and 9.3.3.

Portal???. Cant get anywhere on this app. My kid’s doc asked me to download to use for telehealth Appt but as soon as I bring it up it asks for a Portal(!?) and it won’t let me do anything else!

Worst app. Was told to download by the hospital my grandpa is in. They set up a call time, sent the link, and it never lets me join. I’ve continually tried to “join” for the last two hours, thinking too many people may be in at once, but it never goes through. Glitches or what — This is unacceptable. Especially when the hospital is using Vidyo as their main form of contact for families and dying patients. Will never use or recommend this app to anyone.

Landscape issue with text messages. I use this app daily for a solid, clean, clear video between my phone and a conference room. The only issue is the iOS version for the iPhone 6s plus has a bug where the video rotates from landscape to portrait if a text message comes in. This happens for both ends of the conference call. Once the preview of the text message disappears the video flips back to landscape mode. This makes my video feed look incredibly unprofessional.

Does not work. Downloaded to use for video conference. After agreeing to terms of use there is no way to move forward to use any functionality. I have an iPhone 6.

Piece of junk. I haven't seen yet it is working.

Constant failures. I’ve had to give up on this program multiple times due to “general failures”. Doximity video calls much easier for physician patient connections. Laptop interface is bad with very small window/font size. Seems like this is still in beta test mode.

Vidyo's updates are not cool.. My review was formerly 5 stars. The app is not backwards compatible and after an apple employee 'update all apps' on my phone I am unable to use this and get the awful response from the app saying 'old portal' Please don't break your clients when you upgrade. Not all companies update as soon as a new release comes out.

Don't buy it. Doesn't work

Crashes on latest iOS 8. After the latest update the Vidyo app instantly crashes on both my iPad Mini and my iPhone 5S.

Fix update!. Cannot log onto portal. You have 1 week to fix. Then my enterprise will need to move to the competition. Please fix.

IPad Landscape issue. The quality is very good. Would like the app to recognize landscape vs. portrait when iPad is flipped so that image of attendees are not flipped 90 degrees.

Still buggy, poor connection, no features. All in all, this is a pretty terrible app with terrible connection. Super limited in functionally, you can basically connect sometimes and mute yourself, but that’s it. Can’t see who all is in a meeting (you can see a few of the people), can’t share screen well, can’t mute others. It’s like they got a few customers, then stopped development, and happy just collecting a few bucks because big companies don’t change eco systems that fast.

Awesome!!. This app rocks. The clarity is unfathomable and the support supercedes that of Any competitor. Brought the iPhone to a new level!

What the heck. It wouldn’t let me get into conferences that were unlocked. It loaded for 5 minutes and said; “unable to join locked conference’ FIX THIS PLEASE

Fails to join meetings. Reports operation failure: general failure... helpful.

The best VC experience. Vidyo is the best video conferencing solution around, and this great app is only part of the reason. I have tried most major competing solutions, from Cisco (CUPC, WebEx and Movi), LifeSize (Connections and ClearSea), and more. Vidyo is the clear winner. Ease of use. The way it handles low bandwidth conditions. None of that annoying MCU-induced delay. (And cost.) Try it out!

Great app needs update. I love this app but it won't work after I upgrade to ios 5....

It sucked. It was awful, literally could not get past the first screen.

Works but Missing features. Joining a meeting was easy, but on iOS at least, the button with the person icon (attendee list?) did nothing (as another reviewer noted 6 months ago) and there was no way to participate in chat with the presenter. It must have been an option on a laptop or other devices, but I found no way to do that on the phone.

Chemo class on VidyoMobile. Not in sync with instructions given verbally: “Well send the email all you do is click on the numbered link” No such link appeared, needs improvement.

Very useful. Bit crackly when your on but otherwise very good

Didn't work. Deleted right after installing.. couldn't able to use it, not user friendly, no instructions. Just hangs in 2nd screen

Solid performer. Solid performer even in bad conditions (poor bandwidth, high latency, etc). The previous review about data usage is probably due to the wifi assist feature being enabled (use LTE/3G when wifi is bad). In other words, if your data is being used, it’s not Vidyo’s fault, it’s your phone settings.

Uses cell data when device on WiFi. Just blew another months worth of data cap. Hosted an hour session over supposedly wifi (wifi icon was visible) an hour later I got notices that I was over by 120% of my cap and confirmed that Vidyo was using cell data instead of WiFi. If I souls give 0 stars I would. Please fix this.

Works great!. App works very well. Easy to use, and all required features are provided. Some freezing may happen while under 3G but I guess it's common and expectable due to network latencies.

Login fail. Agree with June 13, 2014 login issue. iPad with iOS7 returns failed login, but iPhone with older iOS works fine???
