I just paid $3.99 for this NON WORKING app!. As stated in the subject, I just bought this app, and then I found out it’s so out of date it won’t work with any iOS from the last year or two. Ripoff!

Great App for Campers!. This app is great for finding campgrounds close to you or you can search in other areas. The more people that review and post reviews the better this app will be!

Good Campsite Finding App but Not So Friendly Campsite Review.. The good is easily use to find a campsite. The Bad is when you wanted to review and share your experience of the campsite you were visited then I gave up with very complicated app that is giving you run around. Unlike Trip Advisor, I have found it so easy to use . Hope Trip Advisor will develops RV Camp and Tent Finder as well as Motel around the world.

Seasoned RVers. This app could be better! If you type in a town name it should give you the closest camps to that town - it does not. If you know the name of the campground then it's fine.

Found some nice public spots from site. I do not prefer commercial RV places. This app is good at finding public places. I do not mind the limited map capabilities because the app gives me plenty of information to put into the GPS. I find the app to be very useful.

Good app, with potential to be great.. I originally posted a review with three stars, but I’m changing that to four based on the fantastic response from the developer to my suggestions and requests. Camping Road Trip clearly wants to make this the app that I love. I asked them to consider adding more options for personal annotations (e.g. "my favorite site is #23 for winter camping (full hookup, protected from winter wind) and #54 in the summer (great beach views).”) and to have personal ratings (I’d like to be able to rate a campground as 1 or 5 stars for me, without necessarily writing a review). They responded immediately with lots of great questions about how I would use these features and I feel very confident that they will do their best to incorporate my ideas into future versions. Very impressed.

Extremely Helpful. Sometimes Cumbersome.. This app is a must have utility. However, like many of the other reviewers stated, the fact that after "favoriting" a site, you lose your search list and have to restart you search. Another annoying issue is that it always asks for my password even though i've checked the "remember me" box on the log-in page. These details are aimed at the developers. For the potential buyers, go for it, it's so worth it.

Great app with pictures. This app gives you a chance to read about we're you want to go. You can write a review and add photos from your phone. You need this app if you love camping

Don't travel without it!!!. This app has certainly been our best app this summer. Very useful and great information. Wish we had bought it earlier !

Camp Finder. Easy to use and lots of helpful info is given about the camp sites

Amazing. This app is fantastic, for camping around the U.S. GPS locations of campgrounds built in makes it easy to select and locate a campground on the fly, and as well the accurate information and reviews make sure that I always get exactly what I'm looking for when I pitch my tent

Easy to use. I've been using this app for about 4 months now. So far, it's been accurate and easy to use. I like that it provides phone numbers, directions, links to the actual website. The only downside so far are the lack of reviews and pictures of the different campgrounds. Not sure why there aren't more reviews as I found it really easy to provide feedback and upload pictures from my IPhone.

Camp Finder. Excellent App! Easy to use! Lots of information of Aires and area

Nice app but SLOW and buggy. Search on map feature is buggy and impossible to use (have to go to list function). There should be a "redo search in new map area" option as well. Also, I like to "favorite" campgrounds when planning a trip, but after I add a site to my favorites list, whatever search I was conducting at that moment is lost. There should be a way to return to current search instead of starting all over again. Otherwise, very helpful.

Great app. This app is easy to use and gives the info you need to find a campground that fits your camping style. Easy to set up preferences. Love it.

Requires update. Doesn’t work on newest iPad, requires an update!

Best Camping and RV app. This is my favorite camping app. I have been traveling across the US in my RV since August. It has never failed me. Quick to use, with all the filters I need I can easily find what I'm looking for. I have several other camping apps but whilst some of the others are useful, this has more information, more reviews and photos so this is my favorite.

It works. I have found any campsite we needed. This is easy to use and gives the necessary information.

Seamless. Easy to use, and full of great information, this application does exactly what a camper needs. Goodbye clunky guidebooks, and limiting pre-planning; hello reliable, accessible, natural fun!

Paid for nothing! :(. App does work on my phone. The error message says the app developers need to update the application to work. :(

Showers and restrooms!. The most important feature I'm looking for when trying to find a campsite is whether it has showers and restrooms. You cannot search for either of these things in this app. Come on. Waste of $4.00 for me, sadly.

Most Useful Camping App on the Market. Having tried, tested, and put every app in the App Store to use, Camp Finder excels above them all. Quick, easy, and thorough search capabilities, actual traveler reviews, campground pictures, and virtually no "glitches" really makes this app a winner. This app replaced my Woodall's and Trailer Life books with a nimble, smart, and easy-to-use alternative. Certainly worth the purchase!

Helpful tool in planning my family roadtrip. This is a great tool. It was easy to use and helped me plan my North East US trip. Good information on the camp ground locations and contact details as well as the facilities.

Easy to use app. Used to having to carry around a book, but this app contains as much if not more information with the added bonus that it is fast and easy to use. Was able to find lots of campgrounds that didn't show up in other apps I have tried. Lots of details that make it easy to sort out the good from the bad. Would love if I could upload photos and add reviews from the app without having to use their website, but the features already present make it worth the price. Please release an iPad version as well.

Paid for it..still waiting for it to properly open. Hard to review an app (positively, at least) that has failed to open since purchased last week. So for that reason, it gets one star. Can't give it zero, but a total disappointment and feel as if I've been robbed

Horrible map. The map keeps flickering and not really responding to my interacting with it. There should be a button on map view that lets you search right there. I have to go to find screen and type in a city. If I want to look a little off to the side of my original search results, I can't just update the map. I actually have to find a tiny town nearby and go to the search screen and type it in. Every map interface needs an update button. Check out padmapper or roadside attractions. This app is a waste of your 3 bucks. Go buy a latte instead.

Way better than Camp & RV. I've purchased every camping app in the store and this is by far my favorite. Easy to search with all the information and links you need. Would love to know how to submit more campgrounds for inclusion -- especially here in California. Photos would be a nice addition for future updates. Ditto on the IPad version. I'd be a happy camper. Pun intended. :)

Awesome app!!!. Love this app and the upgrades are awesome. I like the sorting you can do now, especially by rates. Not sure what the other guy was going on about. I didn't have any problems with using this app on my phone and iPad. Can't wait for my next RV trip!!

Awesome app!. After a recent trip to Utah this app paid for itself. I never reserve camping and our planned stop was booked three months in advance. We found a new location on the fly in moments.

Pretty good app. I used this app traveling cross country. It helped us find campgrounds and told us how far they were from the interstate. I wish it had some photos tho to tell what the campgrounds really looked like.

Camp Finder. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. It is the worst of the 4 camping apps I have. Why? Because I can drive to the next campground before this app displays it. It is slower than slow. Even scrolling on the map is unacceptably slow. It's speed makes this app frustratingly unusable.

Very good app for RV and camping. I have been using this app for several days now. I am planning a Yellowstone RV trip, and all of the camping sites that I am planning on staying are listed in this app. Very user friendly. Quick response to questions. Does not show map on the app, but has selections to go to the website or directions. Lists telephone number to the sites. Lists amenities available for each location. Can locate by City, State or search by campground name. Would purchase again. Highly recommended for tent campers or RV'ers!

Awesome!!. This app is great! It has helped my boyfriend & I so much during our road trip. It is easy to use.

Excellent App!. Best features - actually shows real campgrounds, including government locations, and provides information on dates of operation. Very pleased with this app. Well worth the purchase price. Picked this app up this weekend for an impromptu camping trip. Was able to identify multiple potential camping locations at the different places we travelled. The "near me" feature rocks. I'm incredibly impressed Sure, it's not perfect and doesn't have everything; but for what I was expecting, the application far exceeded what I planned on getting. I hope the database continues to add locations. And as more people use the application, there will be better information on particular campgrounds and parks. All in all a worthwhile investment.

Very helpful and easy to use.. The Camp Finder app makes finding a GOOD campground easy and quick. I really like that you can easily filter your search to only include campgrounds with specific interests (price, amenities, activities, etc) I love the app. It has come in handy many times and since using it I have been able to avoid sketchy campgrounds lacking basic amenities. I recommend it and Happy camping!

The First Place I Check Looking for a Campsite. I use this app all the time. It will only get better over time as more people enter reviews, which is easy to do.

Simple and easy to use - even better with version 2.0. I downloaded Camp finder for an upcoming trip to Rocky Mountain national park. Having played around with it a bit, it's simple, easy to use and quick. Has everything you'd expect - concise information about campgrounds, links to google maps and location, etc. And will get even better as it becomes populated with more reviews and photos. Looking forward to putting it through it's paces on my trip! Updated! Since I wrote my last review, I've used Campfinder (successfully!) for trips to the Rockies and the Smokies. Yes, you are dependent somewhat on having cell phone reception, but it worked well for us most of the time and was very useful in the Rockies when our intended camp grounds were all full and we had to improvise. I like that with Version 2.0 you can review directly on your iPhone - I'm much more likely to do that while I'm sat by the camp fire than when I'm back at work the following week!

Needs work. It has potential but won't allow any of the settings to be changed. Please fix.

Good, but good be better. This app is good, because you get all the sites in one location instead of going from state, private or park sites. With that said it could have better filters for dogs, showers, etc.

Hate to spoil the party, but.... ...before you decide to rely on Camp Finder, think long and hard about how important accuracy is to you. If you're cycling into the distant wilds of the US, like I was, Camp Finder was not only nearly useless (no cell service in the boonies; that's why they're called the boonies) but downright dangerous. It misplaced one campground by 30 miles, which on a bicycle at 7pm with light fading, could be a Very Bad Thing. Since it gets its info from Google, an error in Google is an error in Camp Finder. (The errant campground was apparently caused by a spelling error in the name of a small town in Vermont. Google listed the same town twice with different spellings, so "150 State Route XX, Allsburg VT" was also called 150 State Route XX, Allsburgh VT...30 miles north.) And where cell phone service is spotty, the app is painfully slow. So slow it'll time-out repeatedly. If you're in an RV with a nice 4G connection, 30 miles is a mere inconvenience. Not so on a bike. Camp Finder is great if you're looking for a campground in, say, New York City. Maps are a much better solution. I learned my lesson. Oh--Camp Finder is useless in Canada, too. Even 1 mile away in Canada.

Great app!!. This is a reliable,extensive,well thought out, and overall amazing app. I rate this app 5/5 because there Is no other app like it on the market! Bravo to the people who made it because it is really one of a kind.

Great if you are on the road. This app is a great tool for finding accommodation options while you are on the road. It has concise info on the camping/rv'ing options for the area you are after, and being able to see what facilities/amenities are available ahead of time is great. The google maps integration is also nice. I'd like to be able to submit photos and reviews from the app in a future version.

Not useful. I'm sorry I spent money on this app. As a test I searched areas around where I live that I know have campsites and none appeared in the search. Very disappointing.

Needs update. This app won’t run on iOS 15.1.

Functional camping app. Stumbled across this app, while out on the road in Montana. The app provided me with concise info on campsite options for the night. Very useful. I camp a lot and have been waiting for an app like this!

Extremely helpful. Camp Finder is great for locating campgrounds. There are filters that let a person focus on specific attributes if desired. The Get Directions feature gives driving directions. The database of campgrounds is extensive. The app is well worth the small price.

Canada?. I cannot give it a higher review because it limits it's range to the USA. Some of the best the best camping and outdoors experiences are north of the border, and millions of us travel there.

No Canadian sites. This app has no Canadian sites in the database. Many US sites have no rate info. Will soon delete the app.

App won’t work with my new iPhone. I loved this app. Used it all the time on my road-trips. Unfortunately I had to get a new phone and I switched from android to iPhone. I downloaded the app on my new phone. Paid again for it but it keeps saying developers need to update app for this version of iOS. I’m now in search of a new app. Very disappointed. I would like my money back from the second time I paid. Or update the dam app. So irritated

L. This app is garbage, save your money. For rural campgrounds, the directions are very often wrong, and I am left miles away from the campground that I am looking for, right in the middle of nowhere. Absolute garbage and waste of my money. Look elsewhere for a good camping app.

Excellent App. Wish this App had existed when I did a 2 month cross-country trip years ago. Totally easy to use. Saves hassle of searching each state, multiple maps, etc. Found great campsites (esp for kids) in several states and avoided a few that sounded worth avoiding. Saved my butt when it was getting dark and we needed the nearest campsite ASAP. Good design. Simple to navigate. Get it!!
