Awesome app.. Does a lot of things you can accomplish in other apps but much faster and more easily. The cons would include lack of the ability to fine tune your generations both before and after you make them, as far as I can tell, at least, but with the ability to reroll again and with just how quick the process is, it’s hard to say much negative about it. I wish it were completely free, but then again, what alas, what great apps are ever free? lol

Do NOT get for photo restoration.. I downloaded specifically to restore a photo of my grandmother which is in good condition outside of the wrinkles on the canvas. It shows the app can create a clear and exact match as seen on the ad, but when I submitted my photo, it completely changed my grandma’s features (which were clearly shown and not at all damaged in the original photo) and she looked very strange-scary even. My assumption is that the photos in the add were restored using something like photoshop. I don’t know. AI is amazing but not your best option here at all if you’re trying to restore an old photo. Hope this helps!

Now I just need to find the auto color pop tool!. So far this is the best of the apps that I have tried, but I am still looking for the tool in this app that would allow me to re-color/Color Pop pictures simply by tapping on the object, example, on a beach scene I would like to be able to tap on a swimsuit and the water and have everything else remain gray. The only tools I have found so far require me to do this with my finger and I just can't be that precise no matter what size brush I use.

“Professional Pic AI”. First, the app will not allow you to use this feature without subscribing for a year, ($40), which is not forced on you until after you’ve gone through the uploading process. Then it says your first AI generation on Pro is free. It never says that the Professional AI is not included in that ($10). Pricing aside, I have never seen such terrible AI creations. I used the exact same pics with Lensa and got significantly better results with them for less money. This app made me patchy, distorted the eyes and nose, added hair, none matching what I gave. I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the regular AI generation where you give prompts was actually good. But otherwise I feel scammed.

UGH!! Pay, then pay more, then pay even more. You pay to use, really expensive but okay. You pay again for an upgrade to use all the bells and whistles, UGH!! even more expensive…but then it is only for a certain number of credits and you pay again to buy more? Good grief, no thanks. Also, when using some of the filters like cartoon for example, it looks nothing like the person in the original photo, it is just a stock image put in place. There are some good things, but not good enough to pay, and pay more, and pay more again, and pay on top of that, and pay, and pay and pay. Now, did it let me cancel? I can’t tell if it did or not. ARGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

Amazing AI images effortlessly. Have no experience using an AI image generator I was amazed at the quality and amazing things that I could do with this program. Everything from creating just a regular poster or editing a photo to creating something imaginary that was just made up in my head. Of course there’s a learning curve, but looking at other people’s example examples this is probably one of the best programs I’ve used hands-down 10 out of 10

This is a trap. I “tried” to try this app, but found out it cheated me, so I deleted it. I first went on it’s website, which encouraged me to have a free try. I did sign up, with credit card etc. After I finish, it did not give me a welcome message that I signed up successfully and may start the trial. Instead I got a message which says something like “download the app and began your free trial”. I downloaded and the app, which asked me again for my credit card. I was alert right then that developer was trying to cheat, as it was trying to convince me that the web sign up for free trial has not been complete yet, and therefore I would not terminate the free trial. I then went back to the web trying to terminate the free trial but there is no link. On the last day of the free trial I watched my credit card app and caught the charge only minutes after the charge went through. I immediately sent all the screen shots of the web and app which I took while completing the free trial sign up to the credit card company which got me the refund. This is a crafty company and is shameless. App Store is also stupid to let it pass.

Good, functional app. Have been using the Fotor mobile app for over a year now. I like what’s available for use for the free users. I mostly make photo collages and it’s simple enough for that. Very nice mobile interface. Can zoom, increase/decrease borders, choose different grid layouts, change aspect ratio (square, wide, narrow) for different projects. I’ve used the web app as well, and it’s a lot more in-depth and allows more fine tuning, such as enlarging and positioning exactly. Great for adding text and so forth. There’s layouts that are pay to use, but I’ve gotten by with the essential free ones, and no complaints here. There isn’t much in the way of ads or in-app purchases, although they are available, like stickers. But I mostly don’t use the app for graphic creation, just collages, so it doesn’t affect me one way or another. If you’d like a free, usable app that doesn’t limit too many of your creative choices, this is a good one, especially for simple collage creation. I do find however that there is a bit of compression for finer, smaller text, and so for graphic creation I give the edge to Canva, another free app.

Ai takes over; doesn’t allow you to bring up a photo to. Cannot edit but ONE photo thy at I wanted it editor. After I edited only one, it slapped their logo across the photo in the way of tying to edit them when I went to choose a subsequent photo to edit all it did was Ai enhance! No other options would allow me to edit it manually or use any of the other tools whatsoever! Not without upgrading! I JUST downloaded it & didn’t even get a chance to explore or edit pics before deciding whether or not I wanted to purchase premium feature but since it’s so glitchy in the free version & Ai just showed up in my photos & took over I don’t want this app whatsoever ! NOT cool...

Warning do not try. I was excited to try this out anyways decided it wasn’t for me and canceled after the second day of the trial. It said I was canceled and thought I was good to go no issue I even deleted the app. To then find I was charged on the 7th day. I immediately reached out to them that minute I was charged, after talking to them for a full week they still are charging me even though I canceled the trial well in advance. I even had proof I canceled. Don't be like me and find another app. The app itself is okay and has potential but the customer service is terrible and only care about making money even though you cancel there trial they still like to charge you for the year.

Fotor is the best of the rest I have ever used. I want to thank the people that created this site. I enjoyed every day. I do a lot of creation with my photos and I like simplicity and it’s very explanatory and I’m very happy with it. You’re making my day even when we’re on vacation. I create a lot of things and thanks to four there’s no problem it does everything I want to know and I want to do and it brings that beautiful picture out of my pretty pictures so I thank you for keep up the good work. It’s worth the money and I’ll pay for every year no wonder what !

Waiting updates. I signed up for a 1-year subscription to this app, hoping it would do a good job of editing faces. The automatic face adjustment by artificial intelligence creates a clear mask on the face that the user cannot adjust the intensity. The makeup section only has women's faces and there is no male makeup to smooth out blemishes on the face. The option to open the eyes created bulging eyes, which was funny but didn't help much. I canceled the subscription and will wait for the next updates to see if these bugs will be fixed, especially for adjustments and corrections on the face.

Well, I never…. I have searched and searched, installed and uninstalled, tried using multiple at once; and I never thought I would find one that creates AI from text, uses AI to enhance old pictures, and allows you the versatility to manipulate your own work with (or without) AI….all in one single app! SO FAR, Fotor has been working out really well! I’m still in awe…. Waiting for other shoe to drop. I’m still learning, which is not difficult; there’s just a TON of settings and it’s going to take time to try out all the features. If you are an avid picture taker and almost obsessive about filtering your images or tweaking photographs to make them ‘perfect’ (OCD much, like me?); this might be the right one for you, too!

Best of the AI Art and image enhancers I’ve experimented with.. I’ve been willing to try the free, and 3-7 day trial apps, and depending on what services and ease of use the app offered, try the full pay services for several. I’ve finally found the one that I will make the primary tool for my online projects (graphic comic and daily illustrations for commentary). It takes several to get all the effects you like. But this one actually has the most user friendly interface, and predictable results.

Poor quality upon saving. I have used the Fotor app for years. I don’t use it enough to justify paying for it, so they may not care about this review, but it’s been my go-to editor for a long time It was perfectly usable in the beginning. I loved it. Slowly more and more features became pro-only. Whatever, I don’t have the money for it atm and, again, I don’t use it enough to justify paying for it After about a month of not using it, I decided to edit a meme for my friend. I just wanted to add some text to an already existing photo. Go it all added, it looked amazing in the app, went to save it and… it’s a blurry mess. Tried to screenshot to see if maybe that would result in it appearing clearer but they’ve made it where any attempt to screenshot has the photo not viewable. I was so frustrated by the quality drop and having no way to fix it, I’m just gonna delete the app atp. I’m sure there are better apps that can fit my needs just fine

Frustrating. Unlike all other photo editing apps, when I go to open a photo to edit in Fotor, it forces you to find it by date and not by latest added in the iPhone camera roll. So if you have 1000 images and you add a new photo from your computer to the camera roll, good luck finding it! You will have to scroll over and over your images until you get to the date the original photo was taken. All other photo apps default is whatever photo you added last to the camera roll. So if a customer send me a photo to edit and I added to the camera roll, it’s incredibly annoying to find it with Fotor.

I’ll Be Honest. I clicked 3 day trial right for their premium? so why is it that when it went to the confirmation/payment section it was then an 8.99/month or some charge per year. I figured that was after the three days if you kept using it and didn’t end the subscription right? WRONG. I just got a charge pending from apple for 8.99 on my card and that is the only subscription that has that specific charge price. as far as I’m concerned that’s pretty shady. what’s even more shady? if you look at their plans closer that’s not the cheapest plan, the cheapest is 4.99 which is half the price. Not only did I get charged when I didn’t want to but I was only given the option to pay twice the possible minimum. That’s kind of shady fotor

First Impressions, Very Disappointing. I had the free version of this app before and liked it. I just now paid the yearly subscription cost to access the pro features. Well, the tools I’ve tried so far have mostly done a terrible job. I tried to unblur an image, and it came out much worse than before. I tried to restore a bad photo, and that tool barely did anything. The colorize feature worked well. But I’m very surprised how incapable this app is to deliver on its promises—to any helpful degree! Don’t pay for this app. Use only its free features or another app for everything you’d pay for here.

One of my all around favorites. There are tons of resources to enhance, edit, beautify etc pictures and videos. some are amazing others not so much. Yet we all the reality of cost. Let me say this value versus tools this is in the top of the list. If you enjoy creating Ai generated images Fotor honestly should be in conversation. If you are a if I content creator or you just upload photos on your socials, this is a must have between that AI and the mini tools they have and continue to add this an amazing app. They offer a few subscription, tiers to meet your needs. Don’t take my opinion download and form your own.

Not for me. I signed up for the free trial to be followed by the annual subscription if all looked good. After trying out a few of the featured ai enhancements, I was surprised to see I needed to buy “credits” to continue. What is the yearly subscription for if you are paying as you go anyway? What software presumes to give you a free trial but then charges you for it? The worst part is, you are “charged” against your “credits” for just trying a feature - not just the images you download. For me, most of the ai renderings I tried I didn’t have a use for. So, I tried others, apparently wasting my precious “credits” doing what I would expect most users to do in a trial before buying: Trying all the features! This “may” be a useful tool but I won’t be ringing up credit purchases to find out. Not good

Absolutely worth the money. I NEVER pay for the “pro” type subscription, but this app was so awesome that I bought it! I’ve told my husband so many times, that this app is my new favorite (even over Photoshop when it comes to ease & quality). I’m pretty proficient with Photoshop, so believe me when I tell you, this app is Photoshop quality editing without the hassle of learning a million steps. It’s so easy, my mother (who isn’t very tech savvy, at all) even loves this app. Even if you don’t pay for the pro, download it for the free version. You’ll be glad you did ;)

FOTOR HAS TRULY DISAPPOINTED ME.... I was a subscriber since Fotor came into existence on both my desktop and iPad. It was always one of my favorites. Now, at the present moment in time, it is failing me. I presently have a yearly subscription that is good until September 20, 2020. Trouble of some kind since start of Subscription. The thing is I have not been able to use it. It does not even open now. I’ve written their Support but have not received a response. This was sent several weeks ago. I had thought that with the Pandemic that has crippled the entire World, they would likely have very few people working. Couldn’t they, at least, write us on their App if they are experiencing difficulties? It would make for good customer relations. I hope I get to use Fotor. It is very good (when working). I also hope I get a response from their Support Team. Sincerely, M. A. B. UPDATE: Still no response. I deleted and then downloaded and installed Fotor again moments ago. A Trial Offer was suggested. Great Editing Tools AI Faceswap is garbage though. The editing tools are really awesome on this app, but I was really disappointed after spending nine dollars to get corporate head shots of my selfies only to find that it completely changed my face my hair color and even threw in some robotic pictures of me, even though I didn’t request it. I can’t use any of the head shots so that’s just thrown away money. Keep that in mind if you think you’re gonna get true corporate headshots that look like you, they absolutely are not going to look like you when they’re done and you’re just going to throw your money away.

Horrible customer Service & Charged for a free trial. Fotor is a horrible app and customer service that’s just getting rich on people looking around. I was looking for an app that would enhance photos and this came up. Before I could even try to edit a photo there was a free trial offer for free. Just like any free offers you have to put in a card info. But I found out that I was charge the full amount and there policy is strictly no REFUNDS no matter what. Thank goodness I didn’t accidentally free trial with the full year or I would’ve been out that money. Their app doesn’t even do what I wanted and I went with another service. Be aware of this app and company just stealing money from you before you ever even get to look at how it works.

What once was free, now is locked. This app has potential, and there are some fun features like stickers and collage templates, but the number of things that are now locked behind their premium paywall is a bit absurd. Want to save a photo to your phone? Hope you didn’t add a frame or adjust the width! Premium required! It’s extremely frustrating how subtle some of these adjustments are that suddenly switch you into pay-to-save mode. Also, the image size/quality when you *can* save is a bit hit and miss; about half of the saves I made were pixelated/artifacted by their save process. I’ve finally uninstalled the app. It’s not useful to me at all anymore, I’ll just be using free web based apps instead.

⚠️⚠️This App is a SCAM stay away⚠️⚠️. If I could give this app zero stars, I would. It requires an initial payment yet continues to impose additional charges for features that should be included. If an app is already paid, there is no justification for repeatedly charging users for essential functions. The lack of transparency is misleading—upon downloading, users are led to believe they have access to various features, only to discover they are locked behind yet another paywall. This deceptive model forces continuous payments on top of an existing subscription, amounting to false advertising and a predatory business practice. Companies engaging in such exploitative tactics should be held accountable. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! ⛔️

AWFUL. I wanted to test out their premium membership and they told me that it was $3 per month and $27 yearly so I choose the $3 per month. They then charged me $27 and when I reached out to them they tried to tell me it was $8.99 a month and then $3 monthly with a down payment of $27. So when I asked them to change my plan over to the $8.99 one they completely shut me down and refused to give me my money back! Money which I didn’t have! The customer service person i talked to was extremely rude and would not listen to my complaints. And they didn’t even ask me if I wanted to confirm my purchase. They just took my debit card information and charged me. At one point the customer service representative stopped answering me which was extremely unprofessional. I would never support this app or this company! They’re a giant rip off and extremely rude to customers who were just trying to fix a situation with their subscription.

Fotor Fan. I’m new to the world of Ai, I’ve tried several platforms that have either confuse me, lured you in with the promise of free image generation only to find after downloading the app you must pay to play for a couple of days then auto renewal at an inflated price, limited number of generations, bare bones tools, token based usage etc.. Some are not user friendly if you are tech illiterate like me. Fotor is a dream, for a learner recovering from a stroke who at times loose my words, Fotor provides me with a no stress open playground.

Amazing free app, shame about so many ads. Should be a 5 star app, and I used to use it religiously, but recently the free version has spiked the number of ads - it’s now every single photo edit you get an ad. There are also some ads that get stuck and don’t let you back to the app after 5 secs. I understand “free” means some ads, but every photo seems overkill and it didn’t used to be that frequent. The fact that there’s a pro version should be the money maker, entice people in with a great free version and they’ll likely upgrade. Can guarantee that nobody enjoys sitting through ads and is willing to pay just to avoid them, not how it works. For now, I just turn off WiFi and data if I’m editing 20ish pics to disable ads because I don’t want to sit through 20 ads. But it’s a shame I have to. Other than that, even the free features are brilliant hence still 4 stars.

So yeah, I may have resisted at first, but now I'm a believer. This app? It's the real deal. From its artistic flair to its powerhouse A.I., it's changed the game for me. So to whoever's behind this masterpiece, kudos to you. You've won over this skeptic, and I'm not ashamed to admit it anymore. This app deserves all the praise it gets and then some.

Great Editor, Stay Away From AI Headshot Generator. I’m loving so many of the options to clean up photos. I tried the AI headshot generator and it cost extra (I’m already a pro member). I thought it would allow me to play with the photos and purchased the 80 image option. It took 1 photo of me and created 80 headshots, not a single one which I can use because it altered me so significantly. That was disappointing and I have been unable to find a manner in which to request a refund. I highly suggest purchasing the pro plan if you use this software for the features, but would suggest staying away from the AI headshot creator.

Ahead of the rest in diversity in AI imaging. As a professional photographer for just over 40trs, Fotor has made staying relevant, implementing todays tools seamlessly,and still allowing the fusion between old and new techniques producing images far beyond expectations.i find Fotor AI generator produces (forme) a more exact image from text,than that from mid journey or Leonardo,they are both great,but the have difficulty recognizing ethnicity Fotor has proven to be ahead of the curve when it comes creating images,that are comparable to any.

Not a good experience and out money.. I downloaded the free trial. Played with the photo enhance tools on a casual headshot. Nothing impressive. I could tell they were AI enhanced. To use their Headshot feature ,which is what I really wanted to try, you have to buy a package. I bought the top pack of 80 thinking I could use them over time and just for the headshots that came out well. No. It does all 80 at once. I’m not happy with any of them - they do not look like the same person - and I see no button to say “these are bad. Let me try with a different picture.” It would’ve been cheaper to go to a photographer and have a greenscreen shot done and added a background with free tools.

Another racist AI that refuses to display whites.. I was trying to edit a photo of My daughter and I to give myself a funny face. I’m the directives I told it to replace my face with another face. It gave me a black face. I thought, ok, that’s weird. I know I’m tan. But I’m clearly white. So I tried again and said replace face with white face. And would you know it. It did it again. Wasn’t there some other AI company who nearly got metaphorically burnt down for doing the same? I don’t pay 47$ a year for an app that refuses to show me as I am and tries to say it’s not ok to be my race. Another perfect example of the corrupt system and world we live in trying to manipulate and turn everyone against one another. Race against race. Religion against religion. When I was growing up we embraced our differences and celebrated one another for them. I will not submit to a world of grey where it’s one size fits all. It’s a sedation of the soul they are imposing on us. I personally will make sure this disgusting app gets the REAL notoriety it DESERVES. Hope it enjoyed its 15 minutes. There’s more of us out there who want to Live in truth and peace more than there is who want to live in forced ideological compliance. Your fight is a losing one.

Do not use this app!. I was on a temporary trial and I worked all week and on the last night. I decided to try out the app to see what it could do so I unwittingly uploaded eight photos. There was absolutely no warning whatsoever that if I upload my photos that I may not be able to delete them off the app. I just discovered that this company is based out of. My only point in saying that is to say that they are outside of the United States. Apparently they must do things differently than we do them here now I’m stuck. This is the last night of the trial subscription and if I don’t cancel it tonight, I will wind up paying $50 for this app. So I canceled my subscription without deleting my photos because there was no way to delete my photos. it’s a serious invasion of privacy. And I’m gonna file a complaint and if Apple doesn’t do something to resolve this to my satisfaction, I’m gonna sue Apple since I can’t sue the company in China. Do not download this app. I repeat do not download or use this app.

Paying for the subscription, not enough?!?!. I tried their free trial of pro and it did not do what I wanted it to do. Unfortunately I thought I had canceled it prior to the ending of the free trial and I have not, so I paid for Photo pro for the year. Since I already paid for it, I figured I might as well utilize it and started trying to use it. The features are OK. Some are better than others, but the problem I have right now. Is that this app positions itself as an AI app, which it is; however, even though I paid for the pro app now I am prompted to purchase credits to utilize their AI features. This is ridiculous, but also if I recruit other individuals to pay for the app or share it on social media, I can earn these credits as well, so the whole thing is pretty much a sham. I give it two stars because some of the edit in capability is good, but I’m not really sure it’s better than canva pro.

Poor Support Communication. I went to cancel my trial but there was no obvious way to do it on the app. So I contacted support and they told me I can only cancel on a desktop - and then said that I’d be charged for ending the trial. First off there was no payment, they do nothing to prompt you of this “payment” for a FREE TRIAL, and every time I messaged support, the person I talked to wouldn’t help me cancel my account, and kept making excuses. They freaked me out about having to pay something, and then when I told them I didn’t sign up to pay and didn’t receive any notifications, they avoided answering my direct question. They then contradicted themselves and all of a sudden didn’t know what I was talking about. Extremely wishy-washy and all I can say is, at least the support, that this app is poorly managed, regardless of if it has good features. I just never had such an annoying support person who obviously didn’t know what they were taking about and then confused me, claimed I owed money, then when I lashed back acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. They couldn’t even tell me how to cancel it.

Awful. The worst experience I have ever had with a company! Scammers!!!!! I never write reviews but looking at everyone else’s reviews, wow, this is happening a lot do not give them any money they will continue to run your card!!!!!! This company has been awful to work with. This subscription from 2 years ago randomly charged me and I promptly contacted them letting them know I don’t use this service and had cancelled my subscription. They are not helping me with the issue and charged me 40$ for a 1 month period which is suppose to be 8.99 according to the subscriptions … this seems so sketchy to me, yet the help center keeps referring to this as a reasonable charge and won’t offer me a phone number to call! This is awful

Great easy to use App. I’ve had and used the free version of Fotor for years now and have used it many times for the simplicity and easy to use availability. I like it so much I am considering subscribing now. I like that for years it hasn’t changed the app name or has forced you to buy it in order to make beautiful and easy collages, text adding, themes, background, etc. I’ve used many photo editing apps and so far this is my favorite!

READ BEFORE TRIAL Scummy business practices. Fotor charged me before my full 7 days trial was up. I decided not to continue their services because their AI system was just not up to par and I had to eat my losses on this one. Knowing how companies like this are, I’m almost positive no refunds will be issued.. Why I am not continuing: Their AI simply does not perform up to market standards and adds features to portraits that are never there ei) beards on people randomly which was funny at first but you can’t edit commands. They make you go through loops to cancel your subscription so be aware of that as well. Look elsewhere for other editing apps that aren’t so scummy! Also look at the origin country of the development, should tell you something!

Audio issues. I want to first say that I love the Fotor App and I have been loyally subscribed for nearly three years. I have learned so much from using this app and have taken my graphic design and photo editing skills to the next level. I have noticed recently that I can no longer play my music apps or other media from my phone while working on photos and flyers, which was something that I did for hours daily. As someone who loves having music and podcasts in the background, working in silence is definitely discouraging. Is there any way possible that this can be fixed?

Complete lie and not worth the download. I downloaded this to edit out some flyaway hairs in a photo and it took me 30 minutes to get it done and when I was said and done editing it never let me save the photo. Yes I did see that saving photos was a “pro” feature but it said I could get one free save if I shared info about their app on a social media platform and I shared on facebook expecting to be able to download this 1 image, low and behold after sharing their info I was completely unable to save the photo, screenshot shot or even screen record it either. Completely wasted my time because I will not be using this app ever again. Would give 0 stars if I could.

DON’T USE!!!. For years this app was free & would occasionally buy some upgraded features. Now it’s full of a TON of annoying adds & trying to charge $50 a year! You can no longer save photos after editing them for free & lost all the add-on & upgraded features I purchased over the years. Restore purchases feature doesn’t work. However, that doesn’t matter since you can’t save edited photos anymore unless you pay a RIDICULOUS amount of money for an annual subscription. It’s just not worth it anymore. Also, they introduced an AI feature to restore old photos or improve the quality of photos in general but it never works because it jacks up people’s teeth. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Great app, but…. I have been using this app for a few years now. Have enjoyed how it would fix my pictures with a quick touch of a button. When the Ai features were added, was excited to play with them. I have noticed that in most cases, people of color whether Black or Asian they all turn into white people with blue or green eyes. People even change genders 😂. I end up using lots of my points and end up not using any of the images/creations. If my subject is “white” I would use the features to cartoon/anime their image and they turn out awesome. If it is a person of color - I tend not to. Their ethnicity is erased. 😳 Also the App won’t access my pictures anymore. I have to use the web version. Also for the different subscriptions you have items named the same but costs differ and you have no explanations of the different features on each plan. One can not make an informed decision. Why pay more for the same thing if it is offered at cheaper price?

Bad - save your money and frustration. I am so externally disappointed I HAD to leave this warning for others. I downloaded this app for the express purpose of creating headshots for myself. After agreeing to the annual subscription (which came with a 1 week trial) I began to explore the app and found the headshot option. It had me select my gender and select styles of headshots I might like. I next selected a photo to upload and THEN it asked for an ADDITIONAL PAYMENT because “of the computing power it will take to generate the images.” I paid $9.99 but there were two other more expensive options. I incorrectly assumed that if I did not like the photos it generated I would have the option to re-generate. But, no. And the images it created looked absolutely nothing like me. Not even close. I might as well have just used the first generations of Midjourney or Dall-E because that is how unlike me the photos were. So I am out cash for something not usable. If there are redeeming qualities in this app I wouldn’t know because after leaving such a horrible taste in my mouth I won’t be using it again. Save your money and frustration and go download a different app.

Easy App for the inexperienced photo editor. I tried some of the free apps and just ended up frustrated. Fotor’s AI tools (and undo button), other tools, filters, backgrounds, and frames make this app very easy for an inexperienced photo editor to produce high quality results. I’m still learning about all of the tools but have already impressed my family and friends! I just isolated myself from a group photo and edited / polished to create a new profile picture in about five minutes. Not free but reasonably priced in line with the functionality from my perspective. I started with a monthly subscription and switched to annual after the first month.

Best Photo Editing App Out There. This is the best app purchase I’ve ever made in my 15+ years of being an iPhone user. This photo app is all encompassing so you don’t have to bounce from app to app doing editing over here and then creating over there and back and forth. Plus the online version makes it easy to switch between phone and desktop with real time access. I’m a 40 something stay at home mom with an autistic son in kindergarten and this app has been a game changer for me.

SCAM: They Take Your Money Whether You Like It Or Not. This app is a complete scam, and utter disappointment. Not only am I not satisfied with the app, I was charged before the trial was technically concluded. I’ve requested a refund, with no response. I’ve never seen a graphic design/photo editing company so fraudulent and abhorrent. EVERY brand that offers this kind of product, offers refunds for customers who are no longer interested in their product. If you know what’s good for you, AVOID the free trial and avoid paying for this scam. I doubt they’ll change their policy, and according to many other customers, they keep charging after cancellation. I will never download or endorse any product from the parent company; Chengdu Hengtu Technology, Co. as it’s clear they are making money of the backs of unsuspecting customers via a well calculated subscription fraud.

ANGER AND SADNESS. I got this app because I needed headshots for work asap. Never would have guessed that the smallest pack of ai avatar pictures would be $10 in addition to the $40 I already spent for pro features. I tried a different ai avatar creator once and the pictures looked just like me. The headshots this app generated for $10 extra looked NOTHING LIKE ME. It was like it tried to put my face on other peoples bodies with terrible fashion sense and hair that looks nothing like mine. But it did not even get my face right at all. Nobody could possibly guess the photos were supposed to be me. So disappointed. I was also excited to have an easily accessible basic ai image generator but you only get so many AI generated images for free before you have to PAY FOR MORE CREDITS ON TOP OF THE PRO PRICE. I DON’T LIKE THAT. I have been using the ai image extender though and that is very handy. Overall I just have a terrible taste in my mouth. I never pay for pro versions of apps and the one time I do it’s STILL pay for play. I’m crying.

Racial bias per avatar type !. The AI avatar generator made me white in the professional headshots but had no problem reflecting my true African features as action heroes, water colors etc. Went into this knowing that these AI models are often not trained well on African and east-Asian faces but I am still very disappointed that you would push out a new headshot capability that is miles behind your other features. Seems like a lot of people enjoy this app so I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt for its editing capabilities. Next time, allow users to see a preview or something before paying because now this leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. Won’t be using again.

Amazing AI. Fotor Ai has so many cool effects/corrective imaging/original AI output etc that I originally hadn’t discovered but now use almost every day. The great thing about Fotor is that keep coming up with brilliant ideas that soon become essentials of my creative process. Free editing. This is now my favourite app. It allows me to do simple little edits to my photos WITHOUT having to pay! Most other editing softwares need a payment just to use a small feature but this app is now helping me kickstart my editing career.

Pretty disappointing. The examples looks great and wanted to have a professional looking AI generated photo for business purposes. However, after following all steps (and paying money), I ended up with a photo of me in a suit, in some seductive pose, with 3 arms and looking like I have down syndrome… tried this a few times and gave up. Don’t get your hopes up on this one.

Can’t use half my photos. This app doesn’t tell you size or format necessary for photos to work in the AI generator. I couldn’t use half my photos, but they were all edits from larger images. If I knew detail, I could edit accordingly but this app is tailored to the terminally less able end of the market. Subscription cancelled 😡

Mugshot. I subscribed to this app so I could add a photo to a mugshot background. As Fotor advertised this I subscribed. Nowhere in the app could I see this feature, there is no search button so I simply unsubscribed and gave a 2 star rating!

But now the subscription service has been added and all the filters I’ve been using are now for PRO subscription only. I think I may have even paid for some of these extra filters over the years but can’t remember. Sad to see greedy app developers killing a good app.

Don’t pay for the Pro subscription. Fotor itself isn’t a bad editing app, it’s quite OK but nothing amazing. Despite that i decided to get the Pro subscription for 1 year because the features seemed quite nice. I’m not disappointed with the features of Fotor Pro, what I’m disappointed is that every time I open the app I need to login again. And now I still have 6 months of Fotor pro and I lost access to the Pro feature and I’m getting promoted to subscribe again. I tried restoring my purchase but that haven’t worked!

DO NOT PURCHASE. I NEVER write reviews nor do I pay for apps but did this one. One of the buggest reasons was to avoid ads. I get no ads with the paid version however, the app logs me out every couple of days, if I’m using the app for a reasonable time or just randomly…each time the ads that inundate my screen before I can even get to the login button is disgusting. I am regular encouraged to upgrade which is frustrating. I have also messaged support numerous times with no genuine help or solution. The app at its core is incredible and for editing photos, there is almost nothing I haven’t been able to do (with the exception of using a 3rd party background removal app). However, the app will never be reach it’s capable potential for the reasons mentioned above. Hands down potentially one of the best apps but realistically one of the worst (most frustrating). User Rating: minus12 out of 10

Profile photos looked nothing like me. Spent money to get professional headshots that I needed in a hurry-no time for a real Photo shoot. All my research suggested that I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference-the photo generated literally looked nothing like me. Changed eye colour changed teeth, AI irregularities like one eye much larger than the other head too big for the body it’s imposed on etc. No option to change clothing colour etc so the one photo that bore a vague resemblance was in an awful brown jacket. Fun to play with but don’t waste an hour like I did if you need a headshot.

Good app but I need a refund. I had recently started using it for a couple of collages, although had no intention of buying any subscription of any sort, was really just trying it out. I found many pros and really like using it. Still unable to use content I have paid for.. After following all suggestions to restore the content I have already paid for in Fotor, nothing has worked. I also have not received any reply to the ticket I sent a week ago regarding this ongoing issue. If this problem will not be properly resolved by the developer I would like to be refunded for all in-app purchases I have made.

Fake. I uploaded my very nice clean raw photo from my phone. First thing I did was to use the eraser, and removed one small object. The photo then was suddenly appearing in a very low quality (much lower quality), and somehow coincidentally, it asked me to use a high quality photo option. Then magically it showed me how my photo looked before and after, super hi quality. What a scam! Immediately I went back and cancel my free trial! I prefer Polish, perhaps just a few less features, but works flawless and great filters, in addition to the price this app cannot match!

So user friendly, and so many options. I usually don’t write reviews but I had to make an exception for this app. The free version is amazing and I bet the paid version is even better. There are so many cool options and it’s so user-friendly and easy to use when you download what you created it comes in amazing format without a watermark. Thank you so much to whoever created this app you are the best.

I’ve used Fotor for years. This has been my go-to collage app for years, & I use it for personal pics as well as photos for my Etsy shop. It’s easy to use, & creates items with a professional appearance. I’ve given it a 4-star rating because there have been instances where I wish it had MORE - colors, background options, fonts, & a way to fully enlarge text boxes. All in all, it’s a really solid app, & I definitely recommend it for someone that is a beginner or intermediate designer. (& I’m using it right now)

I use this app for professional edits, I just wish you could use the edit and touch up at the same time so you don’t need to save the photo exit to touch up then open it again. It would be much more efficient. That and the ability to mask would really elevate the app. I Love the recipe feature and everything else. To me it’s more user friendly than LR.

Not bad but... Basically I can perform most of these features with Photo Lab and Snapseed. The “we can fix your old photos beautifully” trend is still a few years away. Didn’t really find a descratcher feature here. Yes there are some good features but for the price it’s just not there yet. AI corrections need work. I wanted to like this app but the colorizer and enhancers just didn’t wow me. At least you can test it out. Just can’t save anything. At least I wasn’t able to. I’ll keep my eye out to see if this app improves.

great basic photoshop. i havent been using this long but its had all the features a basic photoshop app would. the interface is clean and i love how simple it is, it's perfect for editing photos in a simple way but could be used for drastic effect changes if you wanted it to. the only thing i would suggest is, along with the focus tool, a blur brush to blur certain things in the photo rather than picking a single focal point. also, that the vintage tool have an option to choose where the vintage forms around-basically how the current focus tool is but for vintage. other than that, ive been experimenting with different staple photo editing apps and this one has been my favorite so far :)

My go-to app!. I use Fotor for everything from logo creation to AI generated designs with specific detailed prompts to create art for T-shirt collections. I am also a website, designer and often tweak customer photos to use on their websites, that may be need some cleaning up, enhancing and add blurred backgrounds, or use the magic eraser. If there’s some thing in the photo that’s not suitable for their website images I love Fotor. I honestly can’t imagine operating without it.

Find another app, not worth it. Fotor directs customers to pay with auto subscription. I thought I had cancelled the recurring charge when I completed my photo project. I was charged for another annual fee and immediately contacted Fotor customer service. I explained I had not used the service in over a calendar year and would not be using it this year and to please cancel and issue a refund. They refused. Technically my mistake but ethically this is wrong. There are plenty of other apps out there that operate in an ethical, customer-friendly manner. I’m going out of my way to tell everybody about my experience.

Comprehensive & user friendly. I had downloaded this app some time ago but never used it, a few days back I needed to put together an image collage and downloaded a different app that left me with a very bad experience and the I remember this app got it again and voila no problem got the task completed in an even more professional manner! I only wish you guys develop a version compatible with my iPad

The only frustration I have, when erasing a person in the photo - fotor automatically creates another person with a different look. I wish I knew how to erase a person from the photo all together. The Avatars Are Not Capturing Black Featured. I’ve spent a lot of money and time over the past few days on this app and have gotten close to 400 avatars. I’m disappointed because first of all I am a black woman and over half the avatars I receive back have all-white features and white skin. I’m not sure why this is happening but I’ve done avatars for multiple black people and they are all coming back with white features. If the features aren’t white women they are white males. The very first avatar I created was with one photo of myself. The avatars that returned were white males with beards. I DON’T HAVE A BEARD. Can someone explain why this is happening?

Best Photo and AI app!. Fotor Pro is the best photo editing app I’ve used. I have it on my iPhone, iPad, as well as all of my MacBooks. Super simple to use, very fast at making minor or even major edits to photos. The AI photo generator is fantastic. It does take a little bit of time to learn what you mean, but once it does… you’re going to start producing images that look REAL, but are AI generated.

Just another AI SCAM. Bought a Pro license for a month, together with 500 credits, more then half the tools in the app still require extra payment once you try to use them, such as AI Avatar creator. Then I cancelled the subscription, and 10min after the cancellation they took another month out of my credit card. The wrap up a few free services like a background removal that you get for free on any website and then they lower you into a cheap subscription model that includes almost nothing and make you pay AGAIN for anything fancy. Skip this app.

Was my favorite app and now for a month it just freezes.. I love this app what is happened in an update? For the first time ever my app has been freezing and no matter if I uninstall and reinstall it. It’s still freezing after I’ve edited an image. This has been consistent since September 8th, 2019. Please advise. I have no choice but to go to my alternative app I avoided because of this one.

Downloaded for Santa Hat, not there!. I did a search online for some thing to add a Santa hat to a person. This app popped up, yet there’s no option for the Christmas hat. I am assuming it’s only available around Christmas time since I can’t seem to find it. I’ve just spent an hour, trying to find that option because I’m trying to get a custom Christmas stocking made and want to ensure it arrives well before Christmas. Looks like it has potential, but it’s not making me too confident since it shows how easy it is to add the Santa hat yet no search available.

How Does the Free Version of Fotor Compare to Photoshop?. Strictly speaking about color correction and enhancement: I made a living for 40 years color correcting photos for press. The go to program was Photoshop. The Fotor app contains some of the same features we relied on every day. Specifically the Curve Gradation Grid, (3 channel RGB manipulating feature) Sharpening, Shadow lightener, Saturation/desaturate Levels, Distort and Mirror Image and Text Features that Fotor has that Photoshop doesn’t. The only Photoshop feature I miss that Fotor doesn’t have (I think) is image scaling/sizing, changing resolution and the ability to isolate areas with masking for localized to correct through. Less features on app than computer. Disappointed. I had found this on google off my iPhone for a red eye remover and although it gives the option on their website for beauty edits it doesn’t work, or should I say cooperate when I tried to use it. The problem was it wouldn’t allow me to pin point edit my photo because there is no “zoom” on the page. It suggests that you use the app for full benefits however, on the app it doesn’t even have the option for the beauty edit! False advertising much?

Fun and easy to use. For a complete novice as myself Fotor has been so fun! Still learning how to layer effects which is helping to ignite my creativity. Definitely been a game changer in helping me turn my photos into artwork. Looking forward to learning all this App offers. I did upgrade to Pro to take advantage of more options and it has been so worth it.

Scam company. Give me my money back. I see I’m not the only one. I decided to subscribe on desktop, and Fotor decided to charge me for a years worth of service when I only signed up for a month. They immediately took out $40 instead of $9. E-mail is the only way to contact them, which already shows red flags. This is a horrid company and they are refusing to correct the issue, saying it’s my problem and essentially gaslighting me. This company is a scam. I’ll review the features as well, which I would also rate 1/5 stars. For the amount of money you pay, the features are elementary and hardly work at all. Please, save your time and bank account and don’t get this product.

Wow. Been looking for a photo app that would do just what this one does. Easy Peasy. I really didn’t expect much as I have tried several others but was left disappointed. I like the one click and you get amazing results. Beginner friendly. Now I will go delete all the other ones that didn’t live up to my expectations.

Used to be really good... It was always a go to app when I needed something quick and fun but now it's so buggy! You can't edit text when doing thumbnails. Didn't work with my iPhone 14, almost paid the subscription but figured maybe my phone was action up. Got a 15 pro max and it's still crappy.. Now I'm certain I won't be paying for it !

One big problem to me …. I’ve used Fotor on and off for a few years and thinks it’s okay. Never did “Wow” me primarily because I do a lot of graphic work on my iPad and unless I’m missing something, there is no landscape mode. I’m guessing it’s designed primarily for phones, since they also have a version for macOS, but I’d love to see landscape mode on my iPad Pro. Also, and this is pretty recent I believe, there should be a way to show new tools once instead of having them pop open every time I start the app.

No longer recognizing subscription. After many attempts to restore my purchase after my pro account suddenly disappeared, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It still will not restore my purchase. I have tried this twice and checked to make sure my subscription is current, and it is. I see from reviews that I’m not the only person with this problem. To the developer, I’m on an iPhone 11 Pro with all software up to date. This is clearly a widespread problem, so I suggest you fix it asap. As it is, I’m going to see if Apple will issue a refund because I’m not getting what I paid for.

Fotor is a fantastic app !. It is The Best being able to make a collage with photos. I have made some of our children or grandchildren in similar moments over the years, as well as a incredible “look alike” collage of our newest grandson and his Daddy at the same age. The app is easy to use, I can save my collages and use them for cards, Facebook posts, etc.

Still new at this but it’s promising!. I just loaded this App the other day and decided to purchase the “pro” version. It did not disappoint! Even with my VERY limited experience (skill), I was able to put together a nice Christmas collage photo to give family members as gifts. I think there’s some kind of tutorial and if so, will take it but first time using “trial and error” my mini project came out very well…

Predatory application with confusing requirements to cancel.. Fotor makes it improbable to cancel subscription. Canceled on the app but doesn’t matter because you also have to cancel on the website. Then you go to the website to cancel/unsubscribe and they make it convoluted so as to confuse and mislead customer into failing to cancel/unsubscribe. Then, finally I get to where it submits the cancel/unsubscribe only for it to not actually work, stating technical issues and then trying to charge you yet another time. Way too expensive for what it’s worth and far too predatory.

Easy to use & robust functionality. The app has multiple ways to utilize ai in editing and image creation. The interface is both user-friendly and quite robust. Compared to PS Express, this app performs better & has more options for fine-tuning images, including object eraser & ai expand. Worth the small monthly fee!

Great app but even better customer service. This app does so much, it’s unbelievable. When I first purchased, there was a slight burp and when I contacted their customer service, they answered promptly, showed me how to fix the problem and offered help on any other issues. The app itself has so many different helps, there is nearly nothing it doesn’t at least improve if not make perfect. I love this app.

Satisfied using it for work photos. The AI generated photos weren’t perfect, but good enough to use in a pinch for a job search. The editing tools are probably the coolest thing. Its very easy to remove the background, edit items out, and basically all the AI stuff they have in other AI software. I’m break very pleased and would recommend, just wish the AI generated photo pack had more career photos and fewer fun ones.

Amazing App!. In all the years I’ve used Fotor they keep delivering improving and excelling. Their products always deliver and the site is fulfilling and fun to use. We are blessed to have been given such an avenue to create and enhance our photos and graphics. They are truly visionaries and have made a way for millions to get their creative juices flowing. Features not there. VERY disappointed in this app, especially after paying an unrefundable fee for features that aren’t even there. No matter how many videos/sites I look at, my screen doesn’t match what’s shown. I can’t find the colorize feature and the help desk never replied to my question about this. The profile picture just adds funky backgrounds that don’t look like avatars at all. While there are some fun features like the frames and the shapes, about 90% of the editing tools can be found for free in Snapseed and other photo apps. Don’t waste your money on this app. If the creators don’t care, take your business elsewhere.

Cutting edge edits (if this was 2014). The app has been around for awhile and it shows. It just doesn't exceed or even meet the level of the newer apps out there. Fotor tries to do a lot of everything but comes up short on each feature when compared to newer apps which may not do as many things as Fotor tries to fo, but what those other apps lack in quantity of features, they make up in quality. I think Fotor knows this considering how desperate they try to spam its new users with what can be only be surmised as an avalanche of vomit spam to get them to sign up for their service.

A great app with a future. was surprised to see they upgraded their Ai erase tool, but was disappointed in its performance 🤷‍♂️ luckily they give you the option to use the new version or the original since the original actually works better lol I look forward to seeing how much the app advance’s though 🙏

The Ai cartoonize feature is…. Pretty much every single image I generated using the photo to cartoon AI feature came out extremely light skinned, blue eyed, and looking like they were about to sign up for the aryan youth. I’m of a medium skin tone, so I would hate to see what the feature does to people who have an even darker tone than I do. I get that Ai art is generated using existing art, but come on. The bias for light skin is strong in the data pulled for these ai generations, to say the least.

Love hate relationship. I love this apps editing tools, especially the focus, and curves. This is my go to app for editing my cell photos. I LOVE the focus tool, and is pretty much the reason I use this app over others. The things that seem to need some work are the filters, temperature and the vignette. The filters need to much manipulating to make it look good and worth my while. The vignette goes from 0-100 with it literally being on 1. The temp runs a little orange. Ultimately I do a bulk of my editing on here, and then use filters, temp and Vignette in instagram.

Amazing!. I ran across Fotor while looking for a mobile app to clarify & enhance 70+ year old photos for the funeral of my Uncle James. After scanning the photos with the Google Photos Scanner, I ran them through the AI Upscaler. The improvement was overwhelming. I emailed the Cropped & Upscaled photos to my dear Texas family & they were thrilled to add them to the multimedia presentation of my Uncles life.

Utter garbage and major fail. This is very basic and not developed technology that gives exceptionally bad results. I got their $20 package for 80 AI generated photos. I did not look like myself on any of the pictures. I was so super shocked and in disbelieve how bad this service is. I contacted their customer service which replied with a suggestion to reset and try again. No thank you. They should have reimbursed me or gave me credit for $200 because their product is really bad. The biggest joke was the super lame excuse that the technology is still new. Really??? Do not use and fall for this scam.

Don’t bother. It was fun for the first few projects. I wanted to try it before I paid for Pro. After a couple of projects there are major glitches. Won’t let you edit text. (Cursor disappeared and when you add new text it pasted the old text and put new text somewhere in the middle then won’t let you back up) frustrating to say the least. Problem adding photos. I won’t pay for pro and will keep looking for other apps.

Enchanted. It’s just been such a fun experience using this application on my images. There are a multitude of possibilities, and if you are artistic in any way, shape or form, you’re going to have a ball! If you’re not the overly creative type but you like options and specific information on how to make something look like something different, you’re also going to like this app.

Excellent App. I greatly enjoy Fotor because it helps me be able to bring to reality images that previously I could only visualize in my mind. It is an app that allows people to use their creativity in ways many other apps don’t. The only reason it gets a four star review is because it is a little more on the expensive side if a person just wants to be creative, and not use the app for business.

So much easier than PS for simple edits. I’ve been a Photoshop Elements user for years. Fotor allows me to do much more. The only thing I haven’t figured out is how to increase resolution, but I’m sure if I looked it up it would be easier. This program did a fantastic job of restoring some old family photos. Highly recommend!

Fun app so far?. I should state that I have only a tiny bit of experience editing my photos and haven’t a clue what 95% of the things on this app are (do?) but…., as they threw this review thing at me after having just “barely” began using it (I HaTe when these apps do this!) all I can say is that it seems like a fun app and has alot to offer. As to how I’ll like it once I figure out things a bit more., who knows🤷🏻‍♀️. It’s too early to recommend it to anyone so.., there you go. There’s my review, to date.✌🏼👋🏼

Amazing!!!. I am NOT tech savvy by any means but after 5 minutes of playing around yes “playing” because it is so user friendly that it is FUN to use and am now so excited to start my next project that seemed impossible a few minutes before discovering this amazing app! Download and you will not be disappointed!

A Lifesaver. I needed to present photo clips of videos for evidence in court because the videos were too long. There were too many photos for anyone to go through so I tried combining them by making them line up on my iPhone photo app and taking a screenshot. Then I got smart and looked for a collage maker online. Fotor is easy to use and I’m so grateful they have free access to basic tools. Thank you Team Fotor.

Reasonable request.. There’s a lot of pros to this app. It’s efficient, affordable and affective but one of the main cons is that it doesn’t fit the full screen of my IPad Mini 6th Generation. It’s frustrating that you guys haven’t been diligent enough to update the app so that it can take up the full screen of the newer model IPads. Please be more conscious in today’s generation of mobile devices. I hope that this issue is resolved quickly.

Tina Smithers. This app is so amazing! I have edited many of my pictures on here and they look so professional and amazing. The only reason I gave this app 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I first downloaded this app is because they advertised a beauty button which can get rid of yellow teeth and wrinkles in your pictures but I have not been able to find this feature which I was very upset about. But overall this is a very exceptional app for editing photos and very highly recommended.

Can I make a recommendation?. I absolutely love this app, and I use it very, very often. I would love to see a way to put the same set of edits on a group of photos. For example, I had picked 7 shots of my daughter to edit, but instead of trying to do the exact same edits 7 different times, I'd love to just be able to apply the same edits to all of the photos together. Awesome app, but please roll out this option, and it'll be the best app on the planet!

Please read. It great don’t get me wrong but I wish some of the things are a little over board Example: you can only save a few pictures then you can’t anymore and you only get a few “leaves” which allow access to the Ai stuff. I am just trying to find an app that can do stuff with out me paying $30

Love this app!. I’ve discovered amazing things that you can do to photos and uses for the edited photos that I never thought possible before! The Pro features really open up photo editing to whole new and dazzling level. This app never stops being both very entertaining and very useful.
