Breath taking. I love this game. From the calming music to the cute little birds, from just playing it this game will have you in a chill mood. I had played this game when I was younger, and coming back to it had not only brought back good nostalgia, but also great vibes for the rest of the day. I honestly feel like more mobile games should be like this, or at least try to be, because it has definitely put an impact on many people, including me. Definitely recommend.

Beautifully and relaxing, simple gameplay. I’ve been playing this game since it came out. Every iPod touch or iPhone I’ve had since has had this game in it. My kids used to play it on my phone when they were little, and now that they have their own phones, it’s installed on all of them as well! The gameplay is simple yet challenging, graphics and environments are gorgeous and colorful, and the music matches up with the aesthetic perfectly. Do not hesitate to purchase this game, you will love it!

Always been great.. Nothing is perfect. Says enough of this game; it isn't perfect either but it surely made my childhood somewhat perfect being one of the great games I'd play all day back then, coming back to it now it is still the same great game it always has been and seemingly it will forever be. Still quite hard to get good at. If you do have the spare change of lunch money to buy this, maybe one lunch can help pay you many memories to make with yourself and friends to a simple bird flying over hills. P.S. The music is beautiful too.

Ode to balance. Have you ever thought about what could possibly be the best app ever created. If so, you need to lower your expectations. This is a free app on the App Store, you can’t possibly believe that you were gaining he key to happiness through downloading this app. However, for what it claims to offer, it delivers four-fold. I don’t think that I’ve ever had so much fun playing a game that I got for free. I would give this game 6 stars out of 5 if I could; not because it is objectively dominant, but because it excels from its humble beginnings.

A delightful classic. My wife and I have played this a lot over the years. It’s simple, fun, and one of the few games I always make sure to install when I upgrade my phone. It’s simple and so much fun. The challenges are nice addition to just trying to get further and further. Love the music too. It does seem like it could use some updating for the latest iPhone X/Xs/Xr models. Mostly the rounded corners seem to slightly get in the way of the day/night indicator. It’s a minor issue though, extremely minor. M

Engaging and relaxing, a sentiment.. I downloaded this game at 18 years old in 2011 after multiple surgeries, a tumor removal, and bone grafts. Tiny Wings was my main focus/distraction during the 3 months I was bed ridden, healing from previous surgeries. Here, at the end of 2019, I’ve decided to revisit this game. Very little has changed, other than the enhanced, beautiful graphics The music and gameplay continue to invoke the same comfort and satisfaction as it had almost a decade ago. I felt compelled to give a 5 star review because of the sentiment I have for this game. But it deserves it because the game is still very fun and enjoyable.

Best smartphone arcade game yet!. To be honest, this is one of my favorite old time classic games! Best of all, no ads or stupid micro-transaction! I remember when I first downloaded it on the iPod touch and everybody likes it. Thank you dev for keeping up-to-date with the latest support on newer phones no matter the reviews on new phones. Just stay up-to-date with every phone release. Works great on my iPhone 8 plus as well as my mom's regular iPhone 8. I hope you can add in something like where we can choose a skin or theme from classic, to tron like, futuristic, retro, etc. I would definitely look forward for those update in the future if you plan to add them.

Please revert changes to standard game. Transitions between islands are messed up not only because the bird doesn’t go as far into the island which is a huge error that I hope gets changed soon, but also there is a bigger cooldown on backflips between islands so the bird can’t flip as fast! Small thing but a downgrade for sure. Also ground contact physics feel different. Imperfect slides feel less punishing, resulting in perfect slides feeling less rewarding. Also please add a settings toggle to remove the ground glow. I have been playing this game for thousands of hours since it first came out and this is the first time I have found the experience disappointing. I have an old phone with the old version on it and enjoy it so much more than the new one. Please Andreas, make it so new features are toggleable but leave the main game alone!

Amazing with the update. I loved playing this as a kid, and just recently got back into it when I was on a very long flight and wanted to kill some time. I found the color scheme pleasing and easy on the eyes, the downplayed/chill aspects of the game also really made it stand out amongst popular overstimulating mobile games today! Whimsical and adorable. Definitely rating it 5 stars for those reasons alone. After seeing the update in game design- the inner child in me lit up! Everything works so well and I’m so happy this game is played and loved by so many, just as it is loved by me. I’m just elated this game got some love. <3

Amazing Game!. I’ve had this game for years and I always go back to it and play it. Controls and everything about it is great and a classic. I wish and hope they had abilities to customize your main bird (not the babies) and give him clothes and change his color and stuff. Also to add more levels and worlds to choose from on the main story (again not the babies lol) but that’s just extra stuff, still amazing!

Great for flow state. I love this game. I think it is brilliant. It is both very engaging for the mind, but also relaxing. It requires soft focus to play well. The music is soothing without being annoying. I find the way that the colors of the islands change over time, like seasons almost, to be mildly enchanting (for a cartoon). The sounds that the little bird makes are so precious. It makes me want him to do good, so that he can feel so cheerful! Seriously though, I play this game in times of my life when I feel overwhelmed and just want to space out in a peaceful way. Like when you are waiting to hear back about your job interview, home loan application, surgery results, never ending existential doom, etc. Warning: it is addictive and gets harder and harder. I've been playing for 8 years, it transfers from phone to phone

No Ads, Doesn’t Take Personal Data. Never left a review for a game before but I had to do this one. Been playing Tiny Wings on and off for a decade now, and it’s definitely my #1 at this point. The fact that it doesn’t have ads alone puts it leagues ahead of basically every other game out there right now. Never mind that it’s so relaxing and fun to play, great game mechanics and it’s nice to have challenges along with free play mode. I could play for hours (uninterrupted! A miracle!). Please never change, Tiny Wings. I love you.

Simple yet engaging! A longtime favorite.. I became obsessed with this game when I was in middle school when it first came out, before every app had advertisements and in app purchases around every corner. I am happy to say that they have not added that to the game. This game has simple gameplay yet it feels exciting, familiar and engaging. It always made me feel energized yet relaxed as I learned the rhythm of when to get my bird friend to jump and glide on the hills. A game can be played in a minute or two, depending on how far you are able to get. The artwork and design is beautiful from character designs, scenery, background, music, and even the UI. Every element of the game from the type feels cohesive. Not a thing has changed about the game since I played in middle school, as it was already perfect to begin with. I just love this game and I felt after playing it for nearly a decade, it deserved a review. Thank you to the tiny bird friend who comforted me during school trip bus rides, all the way to just an after work game session.

One of the OG games that still holds up. Tiny wings is one of the best games to ever come out of the App Store. It’s quality, design and music is unrivaled and gives you such a tranquil and enjoyable playing experience. I used to play this on my I touch back so many years ago and downloaded it out of nostalgia thinking it wouldn’t have been updated all these years like so many old games but it has been constantly increasing in quality. I’d rate it 6 stars if I could.

A shining example of mobile game design done right. This is a game that I hold very close to my heart. I remember playing it for hours on my mother’s IPad, loving every second of it. I returned to it after a multi-year hiatus, but I was worried at first. Most mobile games from this time period were either left behind after iOS updates, abandoned by their developers, or filled with ads and microtransactions to the point that the game wasn’t fun any more (sometimes all three!). I’m so happy to see that this game is still here, and it serves as a beaming reminder of the good old days of the App Store.

Love it!. I recently redownloaded this game, after loving playing it when I was younger. And it is still so amazing. Relaxing music, pleasing graphics, and easy to play but not so easy it gets boring c: My only suggestion is that maybe introduce a multiplayer race mode, just like flight school but an option to go against real people. The computer controlled birds are great, hard to beat but it is possible, and all have different difficulties, but after beating every level on every bird I’d like to play some rounds a little differently! And I feel it would be fun knowing you were against real people! That said, this game is pretty much perfect the way it is anyway ^^ And the bird noises are the cutest c:

Great game but graphics are jumpy and twitchy with the latest iOS.. I’ve been playing this game for years, love it esp if I want a quick mental break from something. I recently got an iPhone 14 Pro and found the game graphics to be very jumpy when you touch the screen to fly down to the ground. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled the game, no change. I’ve restarted the mobile device, no change. The game is so jumpy that I almost don’t want to play it anymore. Solid 5 stars for everything else, 1 star for the recently jumpy graphics. Average: 3. Fix the graphics for the latest iOS and you be a 5 again.

Addictive delight. I’ve been hooked on this game since it first came out, and have been eagerly awaiting the new islands for months now. The game is relaxing, sometimes challenging, but ultimately adorable because the animation and the colors flow beautifully together. However, trying to pass the level which requires flying through island 4 in fever mode is next to impossible. I swear I’ve been stuck on that level for years. So if you have any tips, please, please let me know. Otherwise, I love this game. But more levels would be appreciated.

Problems with touch response. I love this game & have played it off and on for years. Lately, though, it doesn’t always respond to my touch. At first, I thought maybe I was letting my thumb drift out of the sweet spot, but even if I keep my thumb exactly in the bottom right corner, the game sometimes seems not to know I’ve pressed down, so the bird doesn’t descend. Needless to say, this takes ALL the fun out of playing. I usually just quit before the time runs out when this happens. This is the only app I have a touch-sensitivity issue with, so I’m think there might be a compatibility problem after a recent update, maybe to iPadOS 14 ’cause it’s been doing this for several months.

A casual iOS game that stands the test of time.. I purchased Tiny Wings way back in June of 2011 and it has remained one of my favorite mobile games of all time. It is a casual and satisfying game with a very easy learning curve, but can take time to truly master playing the game. The February 2025 feature update introduces two new game modes, and I’m all for it. It’s a much better way of earning coins to get new birds, instead of having to grind away with the same missions/islands. Andreas, I’m not sure if you read all reviews, but thank you for your continued support of this game after 14 years. It still looks and plays great to this day, and I’m glad to see it’s still being enjoyed by many people.

BEST GAME EVER. I love this game so much because it has no ads and is super fun also don’t buy its evil cousin sand dunes because it has lots of ads and is pay to win and if you’re wondering why tiny wings costs money it’s because it’s beautiful. 3$ is totally worth it for the beauty of this game. it gives me a sense of nostalgia and when mobile games actually had work put into it so you should definitely buy this. Also dear developers: please don’t add ads or pay to win because it will not be fun anymore. I think that you should also add an infinite mode where you can just play until the end because I think that would be fun for long trips or car rides :)

An instant classic game from iOS. Remember well when this game was featured in a Apple Keynote way back in the first years of the App Store starting to thrive with games. The art style really atracted me, and gameplay, promising. Got an iPhone a couple years later and saw why many websites were amazed with the game. The gameplay is very arcade style in you can keep going by skill and rack up points, but unlike many arcade games, its a very relaxing game. The art style has such a happy, feel good, type of setting that gors well with the music and playful physics of jump-sliding through hills. Each hill area also feels like it was random generated, and keeps a feel of variety. Definitely a great example of simple phone controls with depth in gameplay, plus replay value. The race addition mode of playing the chicks to be the first to mama bird is also genius in reusing some assets with new ones, without feeling cheap. I am glad this is still in the app store and will be superior to any other flappy bird ever. Download this instead.

Amazing but.... I love this game so much! It’s been one of my favorite games now for several years but after a while I’m getting bored. After you finish flight school, it says more islands coming soon. But it’s said that for many years so I’ve given up hope that you will add islands. Please add some more islands to flight school as that would make it much more enjoyable. Another suggestion is maybe a shop. After collecting the coins in solo mode, you could go to the shop and buy new birds to play as and new nests. That would be fun and interesting to try out. These are some suggestions that a lot have people have talked about so I hope you think about them. Thank you.

This game is amazing. I’ve had this game on and off since it came out and my goodness i’ve always loved it, it’s been one of my favorite ios games ever. It’s so easy and yet complex, and is so cute at the same time. Before the new update came out i STEADY played the race with the four little birds and maxed out all the islands, and never really played the normal daily bird. Since the update it’s gotten so much more interactive and i truly love it. Thank you to whoever made this game, and has kept it going over the years.

Wonderful. I recently downloaded this game onto my phone for the first time since my high school days. It’s a relaxing way to pass time, and as nerdy as it sounds, it gives me a lot of joy to hear how excited the little bird is when you help him touch the clouds or fly over to another island. The music adds a nice element as well. It’s the kind of game I play when I just want to have some fun and zen out, and the challenges give you some cool goals you can work through if you want to try for something other than a new high score or a new best in distance. Simply a wonderful game.

Please bring back the Physics from the previous update. In the update notes you mention it was an accident but it made a new dynamic to the game that made it feel fresh, I strongly disagree with the decision to go back to the original physics, the game was much more fun and there were more possibilities, and the skill ceiling was much more exciting. It feels archaic to go back to the old physics now. At least consider giving us the option to use the last update’s physics that won’t count for leaderboards maybe? Hope you see the appeal, I’ve been a longtime supporter of this game and many of my friends agree that the physics that allowed you and rewarded you by shooting far passed the clouds is a much better experience.

Nostalgia.. My mom got this for my first-generation iPod was I was seven years old, and I LOVED this game. I got to island ten once or twice when I was eight, and it’s been quite a while since I’ve been able to match that. Now I’m back to occasionally hitting islands eight and nine, but I haven’t gotten back to ten yet! I still remember how all the islands (up to eight) are laid out, so it’s even easier for me to play this. When I was seven, I got through the level in which you had to pass through island four in fever mode; it’s not really that hard (you just have to know how the land is laid out). I remember the racing mode, but I’ve never really cared all that much about it. Now I’m fourteen, and I still love to play this on my phone. The game is not glitchy at all, and it never has been. It’s such a beautifully simple game. The colors are amazing, the gameplay is awesome and the nostalgia is MAJOR. Now that I’m a sophomore, looking back at my second-grade self playing this game, I get odd sensations (especially if I’m playing 2008 Taylor Swift or Cyndi Lauper in the background 😂). It really makes me feel warm and safe. As I’ve already said, I’ve loved this game since I was a little girl, and it’s still as great as ever. It’s a classic! Thank you for so much fun over the years! (Ignore your negative reviews, because they’re mostly misspelled. Those people don’t know what they’re talking about 🙄😏😆)

Great, relaxing, & fun game. I’ve been playing this game for years now and I’m never disappointed!! This review might be all over but I have much to say! After mastering the game multiple times within each update I would then play the game to soothe my anxiety, especially when I get really worked up. The music helps a lot too, I love the games music. Tiny wings is a great game to soothe anxiety when needed and to have fun when wanted. It’s a mixed bag of a game and I love it so much!! I don’t make reviews often but I just wanted to congratulate whoever helps make this game great. I will say, at first I was a little upset with the new update because the hills were so pointy and it stressed me out; but then I got use to it because it reminded me of waves. HOWEVER!!! You can go back to the standard hills if you’d like. It’s so great, and now there’s a dark mode too and I’ve been wanting that feature for so long. So so so happy!! Good job Tiny Wings crew!!! 😁🫶🏻✨

Two brothers and this game. Now feels like a fitting time to write this review my younger brother and I just managed to fly through the fourth island in fever mode It was an exciting and at some points frustrating mission but the feeling you get when you finally manage to sore through that island with stars falling from your birds back the way is well worth the effort put in. The game has gorgeous graphics, fun characters, and simple controls that still allow for many optimizations to be made in every game mode. The unlockables in this game are great weather be completing missions to unlock nest or grabbing coins to hatch eggs. The local multiplayer for iPads is a nice touch if you want to race your sibling or friend. I have had a lot of fun and excitement, in flight school climbing up the leader boards, supported by game center. I am slightly annoyed, however at the fact that the world record for clown island is 10 seconds. Which is simply impossible without hacks or glitch in the system. But that’s not the apps fault(please don’t hack)

Most fun in an iOS game I’ve ever had!!. I originally started playing this as a kid and the soundtrack is the sweetest bit of nostalgia. I loved the high score based gameplay, especially in Flight School. It’s a great game, and the new update so far is wonderful! The only issue I sort of have is the difficulty in the AI has sort of changed. 4-1 and 5-1 (at least as Owell, I hadn’t tried it as the others) used to be impossibly hard, and I never beat them. I got very close a few times, though. I really miss that challenge, it was very fun to fight a near perfect cpu. if there was a hard mode I’d be all over that, and this would be a 5 star game for me. So, aside from the new slight lack of difficulty, this game is the best phone game ever. If you haven’t played it already, you just gotta!

Amazing game for chilling, great for all ages. This game has been close to my heart and a favorite for many years, next to Minecraft and Threes, for just general relaxation. Play a few rounds on break at work, when you come home, taking turns with your kids, etc. One thing that I will mention that took me a bit to realize, the perks in the new birds do not work in Day Trip Standard if they affect game play (bounce off hilltops, start with a super jump, speed coins are stronger, etc.). Not a big deal, but it would be cool if everything worked across the board, but I understand why they did it that way. FLY AWAY!

The perfect app. I got this game when it was free on iOS 4 on my iPod Touch 2nd generation as an elementary schooler. A few days ago (now in college) I went to redownload the game only to realize I didn't have it on my new apple ID - I spent the $1.99 without hesitation. The developer has always made sure to keep their game up to date with the latest OS and screen sizes. The game has never had a bug or a glitch. It is a beautiful and soothing wholesome game. It gets me through difficult times. Thank you, kind developer.

Tiny Wings review 💛. Tiny wings is an addicting and fun game you get to fly and race and travel to all different islands. But when it comes to the races it’s not always fun because your running against COMPUTERS. The odds are not in your favor. There is no luck it’s you racing against computers. So yes I love this game I’m addicted to it because it’s so fun and you want to win the race so you go over and over again, but eventually it gets so frustrating because you just can’t win and if you don’t get a fish you can’t move on to the next island, and if you can’t do that you can’t keep moving on with the game. So please unless you want to get frustrated ALOT don’t get this game. I’m sorry tiny wings but it’s just to much. Tiny wings creator if your seeing this improve your game by making the people be able to move on even if they don’t get a fish do something to make them be able to move on. Thank you in advance, love your game but it gets frustrating.

Nostalgic gem. Makes me so happy. Phenomenal.. I started plying this game on my dads phone when I was about six. (2014) I enjoyed the game, but I eventually forgot about it due to me having a tiny attention span. I re-downloaded the game in 2021, and I opened it up while sitting in my bed at my grandparents house (we were living here at the time because our house was being built) and I actually cried. It reminded me of the days when I was on top of the world, in fever mode if you will, and everything just worked out. Now, as a 13 year-old surrounded by schoolwork, endless political drama, and other things I would like to keep to myself, the game just hit me with a wave of nostalgia. I was so happy to see it back. Not only did it make me so deeply happy, but the game itself is incredible. No ads, no purchases, no lag. It is such a rare type of game nowadays, where game developers care only about squeezing as much profit out of a game as possible, user enjoyment being an afterthought. This game truly means something special in todays world. It will always be my favorite piece of technology ever created. I can’t thank Andreas Illiger enough for creating this game.

Love it!. This game is so much fun! I’ve been reading other reviews and many others seem to agree with me. One thing I’ve noticed is that many people who left reviews said that it brings back memories. I couldn’t agree more! When I was six or seven I got this game and played it with my brother. Now many years later, I’m still playing and loving it the same as I did since day one! The music and art is out of this world and even if I tried, I wouldn’t be able to find any errors to this game. It is flawless.

new update is cool. i always loved how timeless and unchanged this game was since I started playing it on and off about 6 years ago. However, i could never complete all the levels on flight school because of how extremely difficult it was to beat the ai. I would do a perfect round over and over again and it would beat me by a millisecond every time. Now i can finally win, but its still not too easy. i also like the egg addition because it gives you the option to change or stay the same. I didnt think i would like any changes to this classic game but this update is cool :)

Gold Standard for Mobile Games. It’s always sad to come back years later to a game you used to love as a kid and find it filled with ads, microtransactions, and obnoxious unlockables that are clearly trying to frustrate you into spending money. Fortunately, Tiny Wings is not one of those games. The game is just as fun as I remember it being with none of the annoying updates that many older mobile games have received over the years. Even then it was a great game. Great music, satisfying gameplay, and perfectly simple controls all make for a game that is easily worth the asking price. Objectives add a great amount of replayability, as if it was needed, and the racing mode is a great way to make the gameplay feel fresh without adding any new mechanics. This is exactly what every mobile game should be.

A minor gripe to an otherwise perfect game. Egg prices get insane, which I guess is realistic to real life lol, but also there should be a better indicator of how much time of the day that you have especially after increasing the duration, numbers with the dial would be ideal, but bros dies all that this is one of the very few games that have stood the test of time that you can still play even if you’re like me and first played this on you iPod touch 4th gen in highschool fantastic work dev, keep it up :)

fantastic game! Must buy!!. This game is a classic and it’s calm atmosphere allows me to play at any time, no ads are fantastic. Making great slides are very satisfying, and having quests to strive for to get more nests adds a lot of replay value on top of the opportunity to collect a multitude of birds giving even more reason to play more, if I were to have one negative it would just be that the game jumps when I get a notification while mid run but it’s a minor gripe overall wonderful game!

Great Game, with one idea.. It’s great to see that this game got a recent update after a few years of silence. I have an idea for a future update, I think we should be able to use the coins we collect to purchase costumes for all of the birds. You can get as creative as you’d like with these if you consider it, I think it would be pretty neat since I don’t see those coins used for anything else. Too many birds. Well the new graphics look cool but the new physics make it impossible to reach my previous high scores. Also they added like 100+ birds to unlock. It places an objective on obtaining coins for unlocking them. It he game is no longer fun because if I want to obtain more birds I have to slow down and collect coins instead of improving my skills. After I get all the birds I don’t think I’ll be playing this game anymore and retiring it. I just don’t find the game fun anymore and it feels like you don’t care about the true fans who stayed with you all these years. I would have preferred more islands than these new color changed birds. At least there was a challenge. Collecting birds feels like a waste of time.

G.O.A.T.. The greatest app game of all time, of all time. Once you get it, never ever delete it. It will still be fun, enjoyable, relaxing, peaceful, joyful, and challenging five years from now, just like it's been for the past five years. I like a lot of games, casual and otherwise, and this is in the top 5 on any console. Seriously, I'm so happy this still exists. And it's from an era when a talented dev could just put out a game, charge 0.99 for it, and then never bother you for freemium money again. Support this dev!!

The update is awesome!. I somehow managed to stumble upon the update only 6 hours after it was released - a very joyous surprise for me, as I never thought the app would ever update again! This charming game is as pleasant as ever, and all of the new additions are fantastic! My nitpicky mind is *especially* happy that doing flips between islands actually effects the trail now, haha! I’ve only just begun unlocking the birds (including the sunbird) and I have noticed that the dark blue bird with spikey hair and orange stars all over it is unusually uninfluenced by the clouds, which I think is a bug. It usually keeps the birds from going to high with a pretty notable push, but this bird in particular practically ignores it! I think I could learn a thing or two from that bird… If you guys ever plan to update again, I have a little wishlist. I think the game could use a handful of new songs, new coins, maybe the birds could have a brief exasperated expression when a combo breaks, and finally I think being able to add your own noises to a custom bird of sorts with your voice would be very neat. All in all I’m glad to this game freshened up. It was one one of the first iPhone games I came across before I ever owned one, and I always have respect for childhood joys that can endure the test of time. Your game is beautiful. 👍

Brings back memories. I’m now 13 years old, but when I was around 7-8 my mother downloaded this game for me. Of course I didn’t really get it, and just though the bright colors were cool. We ended up deleting it, simply because of my short attention span as a little kid. I recently downloaded it again, and was surprised at how smooth the gameplay was. One tap controls make the game nice and simple, while rolling hills make you feel warm and fuzzy, almost. I highly recommend this game! Also... I’ve read a lot of reviews about the objective ‘reach island 4 in fever mode’ being too hard. I finished it in one try. The objective is to simply be in fever mode (starts with a perfect slide) while transferring to island 4. Not being in fever mode nonstop on islands 1-4. Additionally: these aren’t fake reviews, like people are saying! SOME people just don’t understand the simple beauty of the game!

Separate Egg Stores!. I love the new update but the price for eggs is so high after collecting around 100 birds! I wouldn’t be that upset since I don’t have many left, but now it’s up to chance if you hatch a day bird or a night bird with my 5000 coins and I’d rather finish up the day birds before moving onto the night ones. I think the night birds should also start at a low price and gradually increase as the day birds do, which is why I think separate stores to buy eggs from is a good idea.

Favorite game on iOS. I don’t say this lightly. I’ve been using iOS for 12 years and I always come back to tiny wings to relax. Today I wanted to share my gratitude because after a horrible week, once I had some time for myself and I wanted to play something, I sat down to relax in my phone and I went straight to tiny wings. Consistently, for about 10 years I’ve had the game somewhere on my devices. Thank you!

Outstanding. This game is a timeless gem. Over the past decade I have come back to it consistently. Gameplay is smooth and addictive, the aesthetics are colorful and stylized, and the music is comforting. The recent update adds even more value, through its currency system that adds new challenges which allow for the collecting of skins to customize for your birds. The currency is easy to collect, and it does not lean on in-app purchases that the market relies on so heavily these days. The only in-app purchase is a $2.99 golden bird which doubles your coin collection. This game has tons more soul than its competitor, Dune, and is worth your time.

Best game on the App Store. I recently went back in my app history and downloaded games I was into almost ten years ago when I was in middle school. This game is still A++, it has it all. Super smooth playing, beautiful artwork, the music is high quality and sets a great vibe. The birds are very cute and also funny (the “yooohoooo!” from one island to the next gets me every time). It’s engaging yet relaxing, and all the while uplifting. I love that in you can just compete against yourself, and when you lose your momentum you can build it again quickly, so there’s no real frustration, just potential for getting into an exciting “flow” mode; the perfect level of challenging and accessible that can cater to everyone. And what’s new since I re-downloaded is the flight school mode, where you can race the other birds for a faster and more competitive pace. I’m incredibly impressed and grateful that the developers have kept up this game, it really brings me a lot of joy. Thank you!

AMAZING GAME. I love this game. It is a great way to kill time and is extremely fun and addicting. There is the option to play with one bird trying to beat your high-score, or race against other birds trying to get first place! Although the game costs money, it it’s totally worth the buy. My friends and I constantly play the game and compete who has the highest score. I do have a few suggestions that I hope the app could include. One being a way to race your friends by playing together online. Another being a way to change your bird by unlocking costumes. These ideas will make the game more interesting and addicting to play. Overall, it is a great app that never gets boring or old as I have had it downloaded for years nows.

The update… Why…. I play this game religiously and just got on today and saw the entire graphics have changed, the mobility of the bird is different, even the physics in this game feel different. I understand the aesthetic changes and find them very beautiful, but the rest is absolutely unnecessary. I love this game and the changes that were made aesthetically are very nice and do make the game feel more fun, but the rest is just turning an overtly simple and relaxing game into yet another complicated blue light saturated nightmare. Sometimes it’s okay to keep things simple.

One of the best video games ever conceived. Okay, so like, here’s the dirty, dirty low down. When I was a wee lad I literally played the livin’ daylights out of this game. Though, honestly I hesitate to call it merely a game, this is a work of art. Every creative choice woven into the gorgeous quilt that is this masterpiece was done so with only the utmost care. The noises our protag makes as they sail effortlessly through the clouds, the seamless day/night cycle and the music, I cri everytim. Whomsoever you are, drop what you’re doing, quit ya day job and play some mf tiny wings, you shan’t be dissatisfied. 11/10 would birb again.

This game is my childhood😭. I remember downloading this in highschool and it bringing me soothing peace whenever I would play it. It’s been a few years, and I’m finally back with apple and wow this game is the same. It make me feel soft n weepy when I think about how I get to still enjoy this game as I did years ago. Friggin amazing. I got this game a few years ago on a different device and when I got a new phone I forgot about. It was only recently that I saw this game pop up on the App Store home screen. I immediately remembered all the times I used to absolutely enjoy this game, so I decided to get it again. This game is the cutest thing ever and is so much fun to play! The game of my childhood. I’m a 2000s kid, and playing this game for 30mins while waiting for food at a restaurant on my mum’s phone was the best time ever for 7 yr old me at the time. Nowadays, even though it now costs money, it is definitely worth it. Only $5 for one of the App Store greats, it’s an offline game that is one of the best pass the time experiences on mobile. 120% recommend to anyone of all ages :)

Good game. Disappointing dev. Fantastic game, not much i can say that is negative. Extremely disappointed that the only reason an update has come out after years of not having any - is due to a free game with similar gameplay being released. BEST GAME IVE EVER PLAYED!!!!!!. i honestly love this game so much, it’s a big time consumer for me. i’ve never found so much enjoyment in a game. my only problem is trying to pass an objective, it triggers me so much when i can’t complete one i just close the app after a while, it would be amazing if there was an option to spend coins to pass an objective. other than that it is an amazing app. the fact that it keeps me occupied is astounding cause i get bored very easily. 5 starts for sure!!!

If your a 2000’s kid like me, going to the apple store to check out the new tech was one hell of an experience, i would always dip in there just to play the games they had on the ipads. Tiny Wings has been in melbourne apple stores for as long as i can remember as well as a game called sprinkle. these games are amongst the best i’ve ever played. simple, yet emotional. games like this are hard to find nowadays as they are all money grabs, this however tells a story through its soundtrack, colours and characters. I have nothing bad to say about this game as the nostalgia it brings to me is upon another level. Angry Birds, Sprinkle and Tiny Wings, three early life building blocks i am cherished to have. Well done on making a timeless piece of art, and an unforgettable memory. Cheers from the little kid in the apple store.

Doesn’t support iOS 16 (edited: it’s fine now). I bought the game but couldn’t open it. I reckon it’s because the iOS 16 system (currently on 16.3) requires the game to be updated, given that it was last updated 2 years ago. It’d be really sad if I couldn’t access this nostalgic and fun game anymore. Could the developer please update the game? Edit: Not sure what happened before, but it works fine now. I’m stuck on the objective “Be 34s in fever mode”. Can you please allow players to skip missions if they are stuck. Can you add a coin system so it can be used for buying more birds, buying upgrades and boosts, and skipping missions.

Great overhaul. I love the new changes to the game. It adds more replayability while keeping the nostalgia aspect the same. Maybe the missions can be updated next eg a way to reroll for a new task.

Fun, relaxing all ages game. I first played Tiny Wings when it came out a number of years ago. It was an exciting and challenging arcade game to play when you were waiting to get somewhere. Many years later I’ve downloaded it again because it is the best and most forgiving arcade game that pleases the pure physics desire in all of us of seeing something go up and down along the curves of hills. There are plenty of other games like this however this one is the best in terms of only having to use two commands, one tap and one release. Finally this game is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and to the ears. It’s a really well made game.

I think this game is rigged. This game gets you addicted and it's fun- for some reason I've been on the same nest for 50 hrs now- it is impossible to get past the challenge where you fly through the 4th island in fever mode.

An Excellent Waste of Time. It takes a few rounds to get the hang of it, but as your skill in this game develops, l and your avatar’s speed increases, it becomes very satisfying. It’s more exciting than you would expect.

new update made it too easy :/. maybe i’m wrong, but i’ve been playing this game for YEARS with some breaks… and i think after the most recent update, the game mode ‘flight school’ got way easier. it is no longer a challenge to complete an island, and to even get 3 stars on a bird. it takes me maybe an hour to fully max out a bird. it used to be harder, because i played not to long before the update and it was more of a challenge to progress in the game, which is what i loved most about it. it actually took skill and practice to beat levels. still love this game because of the nostalgia, but i'm disappointed.

A Nostalgic Classic. I remember playing tiny wings years and years ago, when there was only the main teal bird, then competing with the new nestling birds when I unlocked those and upgrading the nests to ridiculously fancy colours. It warms my heart that the game is still doing well, and I can’t wait to see how things have changed.

The only game I’ve been able to pick up again and again. I remember downloading this around the time it initially came out and it became my go to time killer. Obviously, as with all iOS games, it wears out after a while but this the one game I’ve always came back to and have just as much fun as when I first started playing it.

This developer somehow managed to make it so that even when you lose you don’t get upset. The little noises the bird makes never fail to make me smile. No ads no in app purchases. Just happiness.

All-time classic. 2 years after the last game update and NINE years after its release, this game is STILL #4 on the top casual games. It’s not hard to see why. Incredibly addictive, cute, very catchy music, unique art style and even more unique game mechanic. One of my favourite pick-up-and-play games of all time, on any platform. Other great games have disappeared, for example when Apple cutover to 64-bit-only, and that was a great shame. I hope this game persists forever. It’s timeless.

One of my favorite mobile games. I played this game a long time ago, probably right around when it first came out. Ever since then up until now, this has been one of my favorite games. The gentle and chill mood, the difficulty and the simple gameplay and story are a perfect storm that help create this gem of a game.

Unable to accomplish further success. Once you hit level ten (hard enough to accomplish that obstacle) it is, in my experience, impossible to go further. Thus, after hundreds of tries, I lose interest in playing the same 8 or 9 levels. In other words, I feel that further efforts to “get better” are a waste of time. And this no longer play this app. It was really fun for a while, but simply got too hard to move up to higher levels. So I moved on.

Good game but tough. I like this game, have been playing it for a decade on and off since it’s a quick game for passing a few minutes of time. My only gripe is that the later stages are brutally difficult to try and win. I have only been able to get 1st in one level in the back half of the game because the AI basically plays the game perfectly every time

Instant classic. I had this game a few years ago and totally forgot about it. But today I was looking on the App Store, I saw it and said “Hey, I think I remember this game.” And I remembered a while ago saying that this game was so good, and it still is to this day. The quintessential mobile game. I've had Tiny Wings since I got my iPod touch 4th gen, and it still holds up surprisingly well today! It combines simple gameplay (that's easy to learn, hard to master) with bright graphics that provide a constant stream of satisfaction from your device to your thumb. Recommended it years, still recommended it now!

The chocolate bar of games. This game provides a lot of satisfying sensations. It is easy enough but not too easy. I can pick it up or put it down without angst. The colors and sounds are soothing and totally not annoying or frustrating, and there are no negative associations whatsoever. Used to play this game all the time, now i’m in chiropractic school and i downloaded this game to play while listening to a lecture on my laptop instead of zoning out, it actually helped me focus better. i play this game while i’m stressed or have something on my mind and it’s really satisfying and soothing to play

Great, classic game. I have been playing this game pretty much since it came out. Such a relaxing and cute game and always enjoy it. Was so happy to log on after a little over a year of not playing to see a wonderful new update with new birds. I almost instantly bought the new bird too to support this game. Love tiny wings!

Suggestions. When I first played the game it was super fun but then I started to realize the levels you start with was the same and the second one too. It started getting repetitive and not as exciting, so I think there should be randomized levels. Another problem was each bird didn’t have their own unique power, I feel like it would make each bird more interesting, when i first unlocked my first bird I was super excited, but then I realized the birds were all the same, and that there were just cosmetics, and It got really boring.

The only reason you should get an iPhone. I’m currently playing on my girls phone and I just remember the good times back then when this game first came out. I switched to Samsung after Steve Jobs passed away, bless his heart. Tim Cook’s just hasn’t been doing the work Steve did back in his prime. Anyways, this game is the most soothing game I’ve ever played and I wouldn’t mind if it was the only immobile game that I played for the rest of my life.

Absolutely beautiful. This game has literally everything that a relaxing mobile game can offer: TV support, great music, nesting system, the works. Competitive gameplay against an AI is the mildly challenging aspect of it that many games oversimplify. However this game is frothy and sweet in it’s graphics, satisfaction and gameplay. Whoever is reading this, please don’t think you will waste 2 dollars on this game. You won’t regret buying this.

Major nostalgia.. I remember playing this on my first gen iPod Touch when i was around six or seven. I saw it again today on my phone and it brought back so many memories. I played it and it is still the classic game I remember. Good job developers for not going down the route of Rovio. Beautiful, Simple, and All-Around Awesome!. First off, I’d like to say that I played this game when I was about six years old on my grandma’s iPad. I loved it then, and I love it now! The concept is very simple and challenging, and the art is phenomenal. The aesthetic of it is great and the soundtrack just hits the spot. I love it and would highly recommend it! I loved it then and I love it now, well over a decade later!

This makes me happy. I remember playing this game a long time ago. And now playing it much later in life I’ve come to see the similarities I have with this small bird. I want to escape I want to get away from my next, to chase the day from morning to night. This game and it’s core gameplay loop hit home for me as It’s very simple and easy to learn. But the small voice lines that come out of the bird mixed with the music are just adorable.

Memories. When I was little, me and my mom used to play this together and eventually with my little sister when she understood the game, I adored this game but eventually we all got older and busier Fast forward 7-8 years later I remembered the game and downloaded it on my phone, it just brings back the good memories when I was small just having fun on my mom’s iPad. $1.99 is completely worth for this awesome game

Wonderful game!. I’ve been playing this game for years, and it is one of the highest quality mobile games out there! I wish they’d add more islands, and birds. The music, sound effects, and gorgeous design of the game make it a soothing experience. A couple suggestions of features to add from a fan. It’d be awesome if you could create your own custom bird, or get little hats and accessories for them. Overall, a fantastic game, and incredibly relaxing.

Why is 4-1 impossible. Love the game, been playing it since it came out, recently redownloaded it and played flight school. Why is 4-1 literally impossible to come in first in? The one time I was about to win, another bird came out of nowhere and passed me after I crossed the finish line. It’s been a literal month and I haven’t been able to come in first for that level

Relaxing, Challenging, Beautiful. I am so happy that this game is still going strong. So many great games I used to play have now been left behind as iOS updates have continued to roll out…but not this one. The details are gorgeous, the gameplay is simple enough to master but the levels are challenging enough to provide interest, and the sounds are so soothing. Thank you for keeping Tiny Wings alive and well!

One of my favorite games gets even better. Tiny Wings is one of favorite iOS games to date, and it just got better with this update. Kudos to the developer for offering this as a free update for existing users. The retina graphics are stunning, and I love the new features including flight school. Keep up the awesome work. I'm off to purchase Tiny Wings on my Apple TV!

Another Bird Game?!?!. I wrote this review YEARS ago and it still holds true! So relaxing, the music is great, Indy game are really missed! Yes...another bird game! I'm a big Angry Birds fan...but as I play it, it takes me a day, two at most to 3-star all the updated levels n find the Golden Eggs. Tiny Wings is a breath of fresh air! Controls are simple and it appears there's no end...this is great as it's something I can play again and again and I'm always trying to get further along n get a higher score! 99ç by far a great deal and worth every penny! If you love bird games, get Tiny Wings!!

Beautiful and Peaceful. I also played this game on my Dad’s phone when I was a little girl. I would lay on his chest while he napped and giggle to myself when I got a new high score. My Dad died abruptly in 2019 and little things like this keep me close to him. The art in the game is beautiful, stylized but not too cartoonish. The music is so peaceful and the controls are very easy to pick up. Outstanding game. I recommend it to anyone.

It’s Amazing!. I remember many years ago, or what seems like it, my mom used to have this game on her phone and she would let my sister and I play it. I loved it then, and a few months ago I was looking for this game but I couldn’t remember the game. I finally found it by searching bird game and it was the 3rd one that came up. It’s great and it definitely entertains me when I’m bored.

Beautiful Game and Brilliant Gameplay. I recently downloaded this game after reminiscing about the times I used to play it on my iPod Touch. The wholesome storyline, textural artwork, and easy to learn game mechanics make it a worthwhile purchase. I’ve been loving this game since 2012. I started playing this game in 2012 while on vacation. I started collecting nests, and at some point that summer reach the goal of making it through the fourth island in fever mode. It is now nine years later, and although I don’t play all the time, I’m still trying to get through the fourth island in fever mode LOL.

Ah, Nostalgia.. I used to play this as a kid when I was younger. It was always a fun game to me and earlier today I started thinking about it. So I decided that once I got home I’d take a trip down nostalgia lane and play my once favorite game again. All of my previous high scores and names were still there, too! This game was fun as a kid and I still have a fun time playing it now.

I will never stop loving this game. It's more than a game, it a adventure full of memories that truly hooks you in. You feel like your in the game, like your one of the birds flying competitively, but at the same time—without a care in the world. A truly remarkable game that I would rate 100 stars if I could. Thank you for sharing this game, adventure, an experience with us. ♡

So very nostalgic. I love this game so very much, it’s very calming and peaceful, I never thought I would see the day it updated and added new birds though, that was a big surprise! Adds more stuff to work towards collecting in the game! I’ll have to buy the sun bird when I get some cash because I really do wanna show some support! 🤍

Island 11. Andreas, is there an island 11? I have put many hours into this game over the past 1.5years (all in fun) and have gotten to where the end of island 10 should be many times (based on how long the other islands are). I’d like to know if my efforts to reach island 11 are in vain haha. EDIT: After reaching 681m, I will regretfully be uninstalling Tiny Wings. My dreams of reaching Island 11 seem to have been only dreams indeed. Thank you

Awesome and brings back memories but 1 problem. I’ve played this game since I was little and downloaded again because I really missed the nostalgia. For some weird reason, when the bird starts, no music plays. I made sure the settings said music was on, switched it multiple times, deleted and reinstalled, and still nothing. Please get this fixed soon because I truly love this game.

Great game! Could use some updates! :). It has been almost couple of years since the last update of Tiny Wings 2.0. But at long last, on August 13, 2014, Tiny Wings FINALLY receives a new update, featuring a new island with 5 new levels, "Tuna Islands". These new islands now include underground tunnels in the hills. I wish you can be able to skip objectives by using the coins you've collected and get the multipliers and nests, faster. I'm sure it would be a smart choice to update this feature, ESPECIALLY, if anyone has a REALLY HARD time to complete these objectives. 1.) "Fly throught the 4th Island in Fever Mode". 2.) "Reach the 9th Island". Also, I wish there is a way to change the CPU's skill in flight school. :) Have a nice day! :D

Instant Nostalgia. I usually don’t review anything but I love this game so much that I had to. I came across this game again on Twitter and I am so glad that I did! I remember this being free but I definitely understand the charge because it’s such a great game! I played this all the time on my family iPod when I was about 10, almost 20 now. Great game and I’m glad that it is still around!

Great game.. I remember playing this game a long time ago. And to this day it’s still one of my go to’s as far as replay value. The only issue I’m having right now is, I can’t seem to get the music to work. I tried to restart the game and restart my phone, but it doesn’t work. Hopefully a patch comes out soon. Other than that, 10/10!

Relaxing, wholesome, and fun. So glad it’s back!. I remember loving this game years ago and was sad when it was taken off for various reasons by the developer. Other copy cat versions just weren’t the same and ads were everywhere on those making it impossible to chill out and just play. I happily paid the money for this app on the hopes it was what I remembered and I’m so glad I did. Thank you!!

A beloved classic.. Tiny Wings was the first game I played on my cell phone. So simple, yet charming and fun. I started playing on my commute to school and fell in love with the music and colorful world Andreas created. I felt a sense of accomplishment like no other when I completed the final next, and now with new birds to unlock, I can’t wait to play again.

Nostalgia and Calming effects. I had played this game years ago when I was much younger and later forgot about it. I had played it with my siblings, and during a car ride, it was mentioned and I redownloaded it. I was so happy with the music, graphics and simple gameplay as well as the lack of ads.

Worth the Money 👌. I didn’t mind spending 99 cents on this game I thought it was a decent price when I first bought it but now I’d spend more if I had too. The game is extremely fun and addicting. Aside from other games the controls run smoothly and easy. I love the backgrounds and the diverse patterns of the hills. It’s relaxing and can be frustrating at times (depends how good you are) but overall a fun distraction! Not to mention a fun throwback game.

Don’t love the skins system. Tiny Wings is my favorite phone game and as much as I love new content I feel that increasing the coin cost of skin eggs after acquiring a certain amount is a lazy way to artificially increase difficulty and serves more to punish the player for making more progress while keeping the gameplay loop identical. Time sink does not equal added challenge. Otherwise incredible game and appreciate the newer content.

Thank you!. I never leave reviews but this is such a great game. I’ve played it for years and it’s always been a nostalgic experience. I’m so glad that experience hasn’t been ruined by the kind developer not putting ads or power up purchases in the game and keeping it as pay once get the full experience. Rovio and other developers take note, the gaming experience should be fun and nostalgic, not fraudulent!!

Fine Game!. Everything that needs to be said about this game has already been said so I’d just like to make a reply to those who say that the game is too hard or that it’s impossible to complete a given achievement: I’m pushing 70 years old, have never been a serious gamer and yet I’ve have made it to nest 10 and completed 29 out of 30 achievements. If I can do it, so can you!

Perfect. I played this game years and years ago. Now, finally coming back to it, I’m delighted to see that it is still the same game I remember loving. There are no ads and the game looks and runs amazingly. Such mobile games are so hard to find nowadays, but this one still holds up and feels like the classic it certainly is.

It’s a time capsule. I remembered playing this on my iPod 2 my mom bought me. Absolutely no ads then and no adds now, despite it being a free game. At least it was free when I got it, but I would easily spend two dollars any day. For a game from 2011 it especially shocks me because I would of guessed it’s from 2018. I just forget everything that’s happening when I play this game, life feels simple like it was back on my iPod 2

Dune. Wow I guess I came here at the right time! It says updated one minute ago! Anyways, to the developer (if you see this) are you aware of the new app called dune that is very clearly a ripoff of this app? I mean, the entire idea is stripped right from tiny wings and it’s comepletely the same accept it has more boring looking graphics. I don’t know. I guess it’s just something that you should know.

Relaxing, beautiful, nostalgic gold!. I have played this game on and off my whole life. Its challenges are perfectly difficult yet achievable and so satisfying to complete, and the game itself is so satisfying to play in general. The soundtrack is beautiful, I love that there are new birds to choose from and I will more than likely play this game forever. I love tiny wings!!

So fun...no sound?. I love this game so much, and it’s always been so nostalgic for me once I switched back iOS, and part of all that nostalgia for me is the music - but it’s not working in my device! I’ve changed the settings, deleted and downloaded the app again, googled like crazy...it’s the only app on my phone that won’t play volume! I still love and play the game, but I just wish I could have the music too :(
