The app is so glitchy!!!!. It won’t cast or airplay without causing me a headache! The app can’t be downloaded to my Vizio smart tv!!!! I want my News! Please fix the slow viewing! Fix the app so it can be played on Vizio smart tv’s!!!! The app will barely play on my phone. Fix it to where I can see the news without trying to watch on my phone or cast or airplay and I’ll give 5 ⭐️’s!!!

My opinion of the weather reports received to my phone.. I have become disappointed in the overall weather reports. The adds that dominate my phone louder than the weather volume and the wait time for the actual verbal report and forecast is frustrating!

First Alert. I truly enjoy the radar but some days it just blinks where you can’t tell what it’s doing. Thank you all for keeping me updated. And the alerts really help knowing when to look for bad weather.

Favorite news station!. Always on top of of the current conditions and news around our areas. Love this station since I was young and the news was the best part of the day to watch.

GREAT LIFE SAVING APP!. FOX 6 is the best hands down! Always on point with the weather! Love the notifications settings where you know when bad weather is coming or just rain, floods, etc! And if you lose power and have a smart phone it can be a life saver to keep up with dangerous storms! One thing I wish you guys could work on are the short forecast videos make them a little bit longer with a little more detail about when rain and stuff will hit. Maybe put a list of the counties and times it’ll be hitting because the videos are so fast you can’t really tell what time to except rain. Overall I LOVE THIS APP and ALL of YOU at FOX 6. Local weather add machine. This app for one is way too busy for two slow to navigate but third and worst off filled with so many ads. The app is literally unusable. You wait through one or two ads just to click on what you want then a few seconds of Weather than another ad to navigate to another section it’s just ridiculous, it makes it way faster to look up the less accurate national weather, which is a shame when the station pay so much for local radar that makes it accessible for 100 window world ads

Love the Fox 6 weather crew!. All of the meteorologists at Fox 6 are the most knowledgeable, professional yet care like your next door neighbor or best friend! I know I can always depend on them to give us the most up-to-date weather information possible. We watch them all the time. No one else matches up!

Ads have taken over!. This used to be my go-to weather app, but the ads are now ridiculous. They pop up and move around so you easily touch accidentally. It's bad enough to watch the full-screen ad at the beginning. Don't need the videos popping up either. Sad that I need to look for another app now. ☹️

The Only Weather App on my phone!. Def the most accurate— my fav feature is the interactive radar. I love the notification options. I receive alerts for where I live, work, and travel most. Always on time ✅ THANK YOU WBRC

Too many ads!. Love getting up-to-the-hour weather reports, but if I see that couple stand on their windows one more time you’ll hear me scream! It’s especially annoying to have to watch a commercial when you’re trying to see whether there’s a tornado headed your way. Have noticed last couple of times I’ve had option to skip ads, but option wasn’t there during all those storms last week. I’d rather pay a subscription fee than watch ads!

Watch Live Doesn’t Work. Everything on the app is great but you can’t watch live anymore. It hasn’t worked in weeks. I have an iPhone 11 and since the latest updates, I can’t watch live. I’ve had to switch to another station’s live coverage.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!. Over the past several years I’ve tried what feels like every weather app that’s on the market and the WBRC Fox 6 Weather App is the weather app that I go to when I need to know what the weather is REALLY GOING TO BE IN MY TOWN. Sure some of the other apps have a lot of cool “bells and whistles”, but those things don’t help me when there’s a tornado heading for my home and I need to protect my wife and my girls (Sayde: black lab, Sophie: pitbull and Bitsy: pitbull/lab mix). I can depend on JP and the weather team at Fox 6 to help me protect myself, my wife and my girls. This app is one of the top 3 most used apps on my phone. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP TO ANYONE IN THE WBRC FOX 6 VIEWING AREA. On a side note I want to say THANK YOU to JP Dice and all of the weather team at Fox 6 for helping me keep my family safe.

Best Weather App. I just wanted to say thank you for making this app available. It was literally a life saving app alert for me and my family when the F-4 and F-5 tornadoes were on the ground for so long a few years ago. When y’all were the ONLY station that predicted them days ahead of time. When my app warning alert went off, I knew then to get to our “Safe Place” immediately. My two young sons and I knew ahead of time, thanks to your app, to do just that. Sure enough the tornadoes hit and did severe damage to my neighborhood. We were blessed that it passed over my house, and “Skipped”, as tornadoes do, throughout our community. I will always have this app for as long as it’s available! Thank y’all for taking such great care of our state and all the people in it. May God bless you for all that you do for all of us!

LLG Logistics. I’m a Driver and I can get weather predictions (accurate) anywhere in the country. Not to mention it kept me from being in the path of a tornado in Dothan, Al last week. I love this app!

Goodbye.. “This application is not available in your current location.” This is what pops up when I open it now. I used it for quite a while. It served me well but doesn’t let me use it anymore so I’ll be downloading another one. Thanks.

Not as good as it used to be. In 2020, we were alerted of a forming tornado about 99 seconds before it hit our home and potentially saved our lives. The app is no longer as responsive and new videos never play. They always error out. Very frustrating from what was once the best of the best.

Bad weather in North Alabama. I’d like to say that James Span does a wonderful job in he’s weather room when it becomes nasty weather. He stays on top of the weather and very good at explaining all the icons that he works with. Again Thanks Mr. Span for what you do for Half of Northern Bama!

Yes & no. Love the layout, lots of good info. But whatever you do don’t turn on notifications! You’ll get an alert for every raindrop that falls & every leaf that moves in a tree, and if you want to turn those off I’m pretty sure you have to write a letter to the president to get permission 😳

Ad, Ad, and more Ads..... I used to love this app and have had it for several years. The only thing that irritates me the most is the constant advertisements! Even if the weather video is only 2 mins long, they have an advertisement pop up at the beginning and sometimes it’s longer than the actual weather video! We had a storm coming one day not too long ago and I was trying to keep up with the weather but every time I was trying to watch a weather update I’d have to wait a few mins for the ads to go away. I don’t know... it’s just frustrating to see one of the pointless ads pop up EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to watch an update. So I’m finally uninstalling it until they can remove so many of them. Every now and then I don’t mind... but every video is ridiculous.

Finicky compared to other weather apps. -weather on radar fails to load sometimes -weather warnings always come late compared to Weather Bug or My Radar -if you want to watch weather updates you have to sit through multiple unskipable window world ads -when the radar does load, it takes forever -ads are in between needed information, such as live radar, hour by hour, and ten day forecast.

Useless voice alerts. Why did Wes’ voice come on to tell me it stopped raining? I can tell that by looking out the window! There needs to be a way to turn him off and keep weather alert tones on. Deleting the app until that’s fix (or easier to fix in settings because I can’t figure it out)

Storm Dreamer. I absolutely love the fox6 weather app! It’s always there with up to date weather when I’m unsure of my weather wardrobe! Living in Alabama you learn to dress for all 4 seasons in one day!

Good App but..... This App would be great if it didn’t send alerts for useless information. I only need emergent alerts. Ive set the notification to severe weather only and that doesn’t work. Your sent useless notifications all the time. The number of notifications are very annoying ... deleting this app.

WBRC Weather App Review. So happy to have this app. We use it many times in place of our weather radio. So glad all of you keep up with the weather so we don’t need to. We are on Dish and loose signal during weather events. Our internet service is not that great either, but we can get your app better than Dish. So glad your app fills the gap.

Ads make this BAD. I feel sorry for the meteorologists. The ads ruin the whole thing. Would you watch a ridiculous old car lot as when you’re worried about the weather? Long ads too! And, if you rewind you have to watch it again. You developers must not care. I see all the similar bad reviews and you haven’t changed a thing. Boo! 👎

Unable to open iPad weather app. Attempting to use iPad app, but it immediately shuts and won’t open.

Use it every day. I check my Fox6 Weather app multiple times a day, from checking the current morning temperature before I walk the dog to checking the hourly forecast to know how to dress for the day. The radar is great. I feel very well prepared for whatever the weather has in store for my day and week ahead.

The worst ever. I thought since they misled people and had children stuck in schools they would be a little more accurate if I’m not mistaken a couple of people died this app is not up to par deleting as soon as I finish this review sad sad sad fox should be ashamed 👎🏻👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Screen Saver. When I open the app it takes approximately 5-10 seconds before the home page shows up. That’s too long for me.

Focus on our Home town. This app is really good not only because it’s simple and it’s got all the right information but mainly because it is focusing on my hometown in my state. I’ve always got the notifications going on my phone and on my Apple Watch which is very nice to have. I definitely download this app every time I switch phones. Plus my favorite part is the notification voice instead of a notification sound.

Life saving app. I moved to Alabama six years ago from a place where tornadoes are virtually nonexistent and a man that I thank to this day told me, “download this app it can save your life”. Between this and a storm radio I feel like I’m able to respond competently to the storm threat.

Annoying notifications. Number of notifications is ridiculous. You get notified every time the news comes on tv and in-between to tell you the sun is shining. Extremely annoying-app deleted

After this last update it’s Shuts down manually u can’t do anything it’s not working at all. I’ve had this app for years probably since it came out it’s always been great and still is but this past month it’s been sketchy and last week just stopped working after about week deleted it redownloaded worked so no clue

Weather. Always good to have a great news app Appreciate everything you all do to help keep the community safe and informed.

Safety first.. no wait we have to watch this LOUD Commercial first. This could be App but it forces you to listen to a long LOUD ad as the tornado is getting closer to your house. And it really is loud!!!! It can wake up sleeping family members. Really! As you are scrambling to turn down the volume the weather finally comes on and you miss the first part as you try to turn the volume back up. Ridiculous. I have it but rarely use it as there are quieter weather apps out there.

Always inaccurate. Every time a major storm is coming in I will look at the radar every 5 minutes and they will have the storm front moving northeast and have you thinking that the bad stuff will miss your home but every single time it always shifts last second and hits can’t who ever runs this app be more accurate than this

Weather app. I love the fact I can see the temps all over the world especially in Angola Africa where my Son N Law works also California Washington Texas Mississippi and Florida where my Grandchildren reside. Thank You

Great app, but would love two things.. Would like compatibility with Apple watch and a widget for the home screen and lock screen on IOS 16, that would be great.

Unnecessary ads along with a radar that's consistently WRONG.. Maybe I should read this radar like I'm dyslexic because when it shows rain, it doesn't rain and when it shows no rain, the sky falls. I can not depend on this app nor radar. Also, I shouldn’t have to watch an ad — let alone a one minute ad — about someone’s roofing company when there’s a severe thunderstorm or tornado warning ongoing. On top of that, when I exit the app, I shouldn’t have to completely reload the app; what happened to caching?

Radar screen. Every time I log on the radar screen is black. The screen is no good to me when I need it.

To many notifications. I use this app but it has to many adds and notifications. It would be ok if it notifies you of bad weather and not going off every few sec wanting you to see how hot it’s going to be. If you want a app that just gives you notifications when the weather gets bad get DarkSky.

Used to be great. Used to be a great app. Now you get full screen ads that take forever to skip and are sometimes in Spanish. It’s the same on the Fox 6 weather app too. God help you if you’re checking the weather in a hurry because you got an alert in the middle of the night.

🤷🏻‍♀️what’s wrong. The app has not shown the news on time all week, why? Every since they have changed this app there have been troubles with normal news feeds showing. Hope they fix it cause it was a great local news app.

Needs work. The notification are off really bad and it seems there only concern is Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. The radar is off it will show clear and there’s rain.

Too many ads. I’m so sick of seeing ads for window companies and casinos I am tempted to look at another station’s weather app.

Slow loading time. Please fix the issue with slow loading when opening the app. Whether in WiFi or cellular data it takes forever to load up since the last update.

Weather. The Daily says “60% chance of rain”, but the Hourly shows “light rain” at times or 20% chance of rain. The two never state the same thing.

Ads to many, too long. Please do away with the ads. Including the ones with the fox news app as well. I’m at the point of turning it off because of having to wait 15-30 secs on WINDOW WORLD ads and other random advertisements. Thank so much

Weather app.. This is the Best app I have ever used for local weather and forecasts!

Weather radar. Radar does not show more often than it appears. Past and future view is wonderful when it works but useless if there is no radar.

Notifications. I have my notifications set for severe weather only; however, I constantly get updates about any type of weather!!! If it’s sunny and warm, I get updates! I ONLY WANT SEVERE WEATHER UPDATES. I DO NOT WANT warm, sunny weather or there’s ONE cloud updates!!!

Y’all really don’t know weather. Y’all claim storm. Or first alert weather and nothing happen. Can’t believe y’all can’t setup your day or nite off what y’all say about rain. Way too many notifications. Great app except for the excessive amount of notifications it sends out. Have to turn off notifications except on severe weather days or else my phone and watch will blow up.

Not Reliable Anymore. This use to be the best radar app, but now it is so glitchy. The radar doesn’t load. I have to close and open the app multiple times in order to finally get it to load. It’s the same on Wi-Fi and cellular. Please fix this issue and bring it back to the best radar app.

Best Weather App for Central Alabama. I know I can always rely on WBRC radar and alerts for everything from daily forecast to severe weather!

Was great until…. Stop with the cutesy updates from Lauren. No one needs those cluttering the Notification Center. I want notifications of actual weather issues, not constant stupid warnings that it might be chilly tomorrow.

Has taken off my exact location.. Have had this app for a long time with my location, 1277 Elbethel Road, Fayette, AL 3555. Now from downtown and does not even show my location. Notifications keep coming about alerts but when open, nothing near where I am located just down town Fayette . Did nothing to change my info.
