Make it more intuitive. Make it more intuitive. It is too difficult to figure out how to use it. Love the tape export feature. I have not yet found a total key. Found a GT key but that is not a total key. There is a great need for this app, but it needs to be more intuitive or easier to figure out how to operate it.

Great Practical Application. This is one of the more functional apps I use. Very happy with it. No bugs, no issues at all

Excellent. Not ever having used this type of calculator before, I was a little hesitant to purchase. I found that it is extremely useful to me, easy to use and has great support. I did not understand the function of one of the keys and emailed support. Within an hour I had a response that cleared up for me the keys function. Excellent app and excellent support.

Church finances. I use this to count the church offering and the tape function is great because it provides a record of every check and I can email a copy to the treasure after completing.

Good app. Was a little skeptical since I 10-key by touch. Works well and the touch action is good. I paid for the upgrade and it is my knew portable calculator.

Great Calculator App. This is my favorite calculator to use. Love having the “tape”to show what I have entered.

Outstanding! Highly recommended. Wonderful app for anyone who misses the features missing in almost all other computer & device apps. The old Adding Machines couldn't hold a candle to today's calculators. But what they did well hasn't been matched until now. Having the virtual paper tape, and fast entry without entering a decimal point every time is super. And guilt free: no paper to throw away or recycle! Nice work!!!

Very good 10 key calculator. The latest update is just about the perfect 10 key calculator (the kind of desktop calculator you'd find at an office supply store or business office), long overdue in the app store.

Good app!. I run a ten key and this app is a good one. Not exactly the same feel on an iPad, but as close as you can get.

Mobile adding machine. I always use an adding machine at my office, but found that this app is a great substitute when I am on the go.

Great!. This small business owner loves it! On my iPad it's just like the high priced one in my office. When I'm working at home the calculator on my iPhone, just wasn't cutting it. I wish it made the same sound as the one at work does, though.. That would be cool!

Very helpful. This 10-key app is very helpful when doing accounting. Easier to use than a calculator when doing lots of numbers and large numbers. I would highly recommend this app if you need a good 10-key.

My Go-To Calculator App. As an accountant, this is the best app that simulates an adding machine that I’ve found. It’s always one of the first apps that I make sure gets installed when setting up new devices. I have it on my iPad and iPhone.

Calculator. By far the best app out there and only app out there it works perfect for what we do here at the furniture store. Our customers even say what a handy calculator. The only thing I wish could happen is write in notes beside the numbers.

Great app. Use this app every day. Work in an accounting office and I don't even keep my adding machine on my desk any more. Love that I can export or save my "tape". Also the GRAB feature is useful. Get it!!!

Can’t use keyboard?. I can’t figure out how to use my keyboard. It seems to only work on the touchscreen.

Great digits replacement. SO bummed Digits stopped working. Used the free version of this for about 5 minutes, then bought full version. Love It!

Excellent App. If you are looking for a calculator with a tape read-out, look no further. This is the best one available. It functions flawlessly and is visually attractive. Do not be misled by the "accountant's" 1* rating. The decimal positioning is as flawless as the rest of the program. You can accept the user designated position OR type it in. The only time that the decimal point is not entered as you anticipated is when you are in the tape correction "grouped" mode. You have to exit tape correction by clicking "done" to resume the decimal positioning that you expected. As a rule, I do not like to contradict reviewers but the accountant's review was out of line and unfair to the developers. An accountant would use an HP 12C Platinum Financial calculator which is certainly more refined than this app. But if you use a Casio or similar printing calculator, you will have no problems using this app. Thank you Interlocken for a stellar 10* application.

CPA who has replaced bulky 10 key calculator with this app. I recommend this app to anyone who is familiar with a 10 key adding machine. BENEFITS 1. Most important, the app is accurate and works like a 10 key adding machine! 2. Carrying the iPad is easy to carry to meetings and appointments. 3. I can save tapes for each client job, for future reference. 4. I can easily label sections of the tape. 5. I can print a tape directly to an Apple capable printer, or my HP model that excepts wireless printing. 6. I have emailed two times for support. In both instances, I received a competent answer in a timely manner. Other thoughts 1. So far, the app is been very reliable. I have never had a problem after updating. I usually wait about 10 days before updating. 2. The only thing I miss is that the keys are not 3-D like a manual adding machine key pad. Tip: Turning on the sound option at the first level helps me to know if I my fingers are aligned properly for the keypad. 3. Each tape has 400 lines (I think). If I run out of a of space on a tape for a client, I simply open up another tape for that client with a two after the client name. SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT It would be great to be able to dictate numbers and math operations verbally into the app!

Works like a charm!. Since I do not have a calculator, this app works just like one and I didn't have to go out and buy a calculator. Certainly does what I need it for and more.

Perfect!. I was so happy to find this app! If you're looking for a traditional adding machine, this is the app for you. It works amazingly well on the touch screen because they were clever enough to make it click when you tap a key and it makes a different sound if you don't hit the key squarely, so you can look and make sure you haven't made a mistake. This makes it possible to enter numbers without looking closely at the keys. Great design -- I love it! Also love the latest update... Now able to clear the tape with a quick double tap. Nice!

Handy 10 Key App. This 10 key app works just like my favorite adding machine. I use it often. I find 10 key to be much quicker and easier than a standard calculator for most of my needs.

The best 10 Key calculator. If you prefer 10 key calculators, this is without a doubt the best app for iPad on the App Store. I have been using this app for over a year and highly recommend it.

Cannot even use memory to GST and VAT value. To calculate GST & VAT on sinle item it require a lot of keystroke pretty poor over all

Well worth the fee. Works just like a 3D calculator with the exception of the touch pad. This is a much better version than the Accountants calculator which has some odd logic like pushing minus prior to subtracting a number. Very versatile and saves trees.

Not quite there yet. It's a good start with some things working like an adding machine with tape, but I agree with Jan that it is lacking some things that simple 10-keys do, like being able to put in a decimal point where you want. I would suggest that the developer get an adding machine with tape output and mimic it to make this app exactly behave the way it should and that most accountants are used to. You should be able to multiply 2 numbers (4x.1=) and get 0.40 in the display and then hit + to add it into your stream no matter what fixed decimal format you are in. This is useful for counting change or bills when making deposits. I only got it today and haven't played around with adding things more than two decimals but I would hope it would add and round correctly, but to be frank, I can't even enter the numbers correctly the way it is now since it ignores the decimal point in fixed mode which it shouldn't since you can do this on a simple printing calc. See itabulator for iPhone if needed.

Great app. I'm pretty cheap and tend to pass on any app that I have to pay for.....but I made an exception for this one since I couldn't find a decent free ten key. I'm so glad I did. It is fantastic....I highly recommend this app...well worth the price!

NOPE, NOT THE ONE.. I am a bookkeeper and this does not function at all like a 10 key calculator. It is apparent that the designers do not use one and never consulted with an accounting professional. One key issue is the ability to set the decimal place. There is an option to do that, but once set the app won't even accept the decimal point if you try to enter it manually (I came across that issue in an effort to work with their strange parameters). A major issue, which is just one of the VERY MANY functional deficincies there are with this effort. The feature they are focused on is the "paper tape" which has no practical use. Anyone who would like to catalogue information in the fashion they suggest it would be practical for would use a spreadsheet. This is not at all what it claims to be. I waisted my money on this to save you yours. I stand by my review and scoff at the suggestion that I have something to gain from what I have said. I believe the other person reviewing this would appear to have an interest in this application. I hope that another accounting professional that has purchased this speaks to the ineffectiveness of it.

Great calculator!. This is a great 10 key calculator! It is easy to understand and is very useful. Do not listen to the people who give it bad reviews just because they want people to buy theirs instead, aka NOPE NOT THE ONE, by Bookkeeper Jen. Everything she was bashing about is false, and this calculator works fine. I would recommend this to anyone who uses a 10 key calculator!
