Comprehensive!. This app is not just entertaining (although it IS that, too) - it's a comprehensive overview of the Enneagram system. Easy to navigate, this is the first app I have ever purchased - and am thoroughly enjoying everything I can do with it. Highly recommended!

Helping myself helps me to help others!. I absolutely LOVE this App! As an enneatype 1, having "self-awareness" tools that I can access easily with my finger tips from anywhere and at anytime has helped me work through unexpected obstacles and challenges positively (particularly with other personality types).

Good ennea- app. I use enneagrams in my work daily, teaching people about how their unthinking patterns of behavior impact their lives. This is the best app I've seen towards that end.

okay, not great, type tips are pretty bad. I'm pretty sure some of the absolutely glowing reviews for this app were written by the author's friends. It's an okay app, but it's not great. There's a lot of information on there, and her enneagram quiz is fun. I like that you can test your knowledge of the different enneagram types as well. Her video clips of the types are pretty bad, however. For example, in her video clip for type Four, the supposed exemplar admits to being prone to an "us versus them" attitude which, if you've read much on the enneagram, you know is almost verbatim how a number of other authors describe type Six! It seems that anyone claiming to have expertise on the enneagram ought not to have video clips as exemplars for one type saying things that are stereotypical of another type. Someone who wasn't very informed about the enneagram might easily mistype themselves based on this. The other problem with her app is the type tips. The type tips are very hit or miss, and some weeks, they can be downright trite. It includes tips like "write down three things you like about yourself," "think of some positive things in your life" and "when you start to feel bad about yourself, stop...just STOP!" Also, she doesn't show an in-depth understanding of the fixations in her type-tips. The type Four ones, for example, are almost always geared towards depression and could be applicable to anyone of any type who was depressed. Her type Six tips have a similar problem with anxiety, in that it seems like the general advice therapists would give someone with GAD, rather than specific to type Six per se. I think if she could "get back to basics" and work the fixations of the types into her tips occasionally, they would improve immensely.

Not worth paying for. There was no test to help you navigate your type- you are given a bunch of cards and then asked if that's like you at all. No probing questions, just large swaths of text that could apply to you (and in some ways all of them kind of apply to everybody). This app should give you a more useful tool for discovering your type- very disappointed. I have never wanted a refund before for an app, but I want one for this.

This app feels like an advertisement to me. The app is initially very pleasing visually. I was excited to try it out. I found the "type yourself" part of the app very superficial. I had hoped it would be a more objective way of determining my type rather than a subjective self-evaluation. I am not sure that people are well enough supported in the world to know themselves well at this deep level. The rest of the app feels like an advertisement for the author more than an actual tool to assist with the exploration of your enneagram type. How were the enneagram types for the famous people determined? Are there other author's of enneagram books and works? Is there any discussion of the differences in their approaches? Which branch of the enneagram originators did the author's work stem from? I know the author did a great deal of work to create this app, but this is information for the world, not a promotional tool for the author. Susan

Marketing tool.. Purchased the app the day it became available. Found it appealing, informative, easy to use and understand, and timely. I allowed some time to pass so that my review would have user credibility. Recently, in one my classes, I witnessed actual and, most probably, the most typical use. I was teaching and a question was asked about a specific wing type. Each member of my classes has been provided with an abundance of materials from simple, explicit cards to books. All of a sudden, out pops out I phones and I see them punching their phones. In unison, they begin reading Gingers app about the questioned wing type. How exciting to see such spontaneity and flexibility when quickly needing information. I experienced the class teaching themselves. Many of their spouses now have the app on their phone as well. Yea Ginger! You may have just developed a great marketing tool.

know your type. The author of this is very knowledgeable of the Enneagram.. Not only is she a gifted teacher she contributes much to all world wide in the Enneagram community. This application is wonderful to have on my phone....I can immediately access information when I'm with others and trying to remember other's types, etc. It's easy to navigate, user friendly and quite colorful! For those not familiar with the Enneagram, but wanting more information this is a wonderful tool! Thanks for this great application!

Accessible and Informative!. Whether you are looking for an introduction to the Enneagram, or a handy reference, Know Your Type is a terrific tool. Easy to navigate, clear and concise, it is jam-packed with information. I am recommending it to clients, friends and family. What a Great Little App. Once you install this app and figure out your personality type there are limited additional features to explore. But those tips per my type that arrive through my notifications are so perfect. It's amazing! Just the right words at just the right time. It's as if the app is in my head. Which I guess it is. Lol.

Not worth the money. This app does not take into account that more then one personality may describe you.

Really helps. For anyone who study the enneagram this app is very useful. The weekly tips help you to live it!

Unique and Exceptional. The information and interactive activities are engaging and insightful. If you want to know more about your personality type and how to interact well with others, this is the best app. The videos of real people of each type were interesting and the exercises were helpful. If you have any desire to learn more about yourself and others, you won't be disappointed in the quality of this app.

Exceptionally engaging. This is a first-class approach to the Enneagram. The card-sort method is a time-tested and efficient method for making choices and its application here is visually and (almost) kinesthetically very engaging. The graphics and transitions work flawlessly on my older iTouch and I particularly enjoyed the approach to relationships between various types. Ginger has obviously worked and reworked, tested and retested the content until it is surgically accurate without being terse. I can easily recommend this App to newbies and veterans alike.

Best Enneagram app available. If you are just discovering the Enneagram, this is the app you want. If you know the Enneagram well, you will appreciate how It makes excellent use of the technology to explore the dynamism between types. Ginger Lapid-Bogda is a recognized authority on the Enneagram in organizational life and personal development. An excellent presentation! Type videos were a little slow to load on my 3G phone but not a major annoyance.

Invaluable knowledge at your finger tips. I use this app before going to meetings to prepare myself for communication and avoiding/ resolving conflict. It is extremely helpful for one-on-one meetings. Reinforcing enneagram frequently reminds me that nothing is really personal it is just our 'types'.

Ok I expected more. Nice interface. Wasn't as informative as I would expected from a paid app.

Super Dissapointed. There's no real 'test' or questionnaire. The app describes each type on a card and asks a vague question that is very circumstantial. Every card will apply to you and without a guided list of question you'll never find out your type. You can't seriously be expected to evaluate yourself this way because the way the mind works, this like the visible self, blind self, and the fact that people tend to evaluate their lives and standing in life differently than it really is. A complete waste of $3. Like another reviewer, I've never actually felt like I needed a refund but this time I really do...

Compelling Resource on the Enneagram by Lapid-Bogda. This app is perfect for those who are new to the Enneagram as well as those who are familiar with it as a system of understanding self and others. This app has incredible content on each type--I feel as if it is the perfect "just in time" resource right at my fingertips. And given I think Ginger Lapid Bogda is one of the most accessible authors on the enneagram, I am grateful that she developed an app. The journey within is one of the most rewarding and it is exceedingly helpful to have this resource available.

Great Application !!. This is a great application for anyone interested in knowing more about themselves, as well as those who already use the Enneagram. What amazed me about this application was the speed at which a colleague was able to not only come to understand her type but also her impact on others and move into exploring development activities related to improving this. She was surprised at the accuracy of the descriptions the app provided and the practical approaches to strengthening relationships. Quick and easy. I think this app is great for anybody that wants to understand themselves, others, and the mechanics of communication. Very well laid out. Easy to find what you looking for. I have many of Ginger's books but never seem to have the time to go downstairs, find the book and look up what I'm looking for. A great personal and business tool.
