False Advertising. Don’t buy this App, it does not sync with your iTunes music.

Great! Except the canned music.... Love this app! And the treadmill and spinning versions. However, unlike my other lolo apps, I cannot get this version to stop playing the pre-canned music. I have to pause my workout at least three times every half hour to reload the playlist so it plays my iPod music. I have a ton of songs with a variety of bpms ... There is no reason why it should keep playing the lolo music. I have deleted/reloaded the app and everything. Nothing works. The setting for playing the lolo music is off. I would really appreciate it of this could be fixed. Then the app would be perfect!

4.5 stars! Great app, could use minor updates. I've been a happy user of LoLo's other apps, including beatburn treadmill/running. I use these for guided interval training as crosstraining for running, swimming, and cycling. I really like having the elliptical app now because I've missed having a good guided training app. Only used it once but I can say it is as great and useful as their other apps. The interval and pyramid training used have helped me improve both endurance and speed. Love the new music in the elliptical app---would like to hear some of this in the treadmill/running app, too! Only a few minor quibbles in terms of setup: Not all ellipticals read in steps/rpm/strides (but I can move to the music); most treadmills can vary both resistance AND ramp (so I've tweaked both). Keep up the good work! I'll happily give this a ful 5 stars in its next version update -- the LoLo folks have been constantly updating and improving their apps and have been very responsive to input.

Even Better than the treadmill app!. I liked their treadmill app so much I decided to give this one a try. I didn't realize I could get such a great workout on an elliptical. I've used them before, but I guess I was just sleepwalking through it. I've done a couple workouts now and they killed me. Just what I needed to get through the holidays. Great buy!

my new best fitness tool!. My elliptical has been collecting dust as I've been collecting pounds. Someone told me about this app and it has become my new best fitness tool. Before LOLO, I could only last 10 minutes before I was bored and ready to quit. Lolo keeps it interesting enough for me to keep going. I get to use my own music, the segments go quickly, and I find myself working harder/smarter than ever. The developers offer great support. Every one of my questions was either answered via email or the support area of their website. I now look forward to my 6 am "class" with Lolo!! : ) Bottom line, I am so glad I found this app. It has put me back on track for my fitness goals. Thanks.

Good app but needs some work. This is a great app that keeps me going on the elliptical. I Love the way the trainer encourages and guides you, and I love what it does with the beats! I just wish the developers would fix the bugs whereas the trainer sometime does not tell you what resistance to use and/or what pace keep up. This is app would be perfect if they can fix that.

Dead?. Is this company dead? No updates in six years? In case someone is listening: I have a few of your apps and LOVE them. I have been using them for Years. One thing I noticed is that the design never changed and is actually quite annoying. In the middle of my work out, if a song comes on that is just not right for the current level, I have to pick my phone up, got to music, hit next, then close out of that. So, I offer 3 suggestions, in order of importance: 1) add a “Next” button to the main screen. At least in horizontal mode. There is a giant unused space right at the bottom of the screen. 2) Add a way to remove a song from the playlist without going through the settings. An example would be while I am working out, I don’t like a song (added for some reason), I can click into the audio part and click a button that says “remove”, or “ignore current song in the future”. 3) add a way to favorite songs. So that way they get played just a little bit more than the rest.

If I could give zero stars I would. Have I used this app in the past,YES! Was is awesome, YES, is it awesome now, NO! Why? I can’t get into it. I have look, bike & treadmill and they work fine. Some reason I can’t even log in, used multiply email addresses, NOTHING. So I say, ok, ill use forgot my password, oh wait, that won’t work either. So I try to start another account under a new address, lo and behold, that won’t work either!!! Deleted and reinstalled...nope, nothing. What is going on, PLEASE FIX!!

Elliptical!!!. Now I can use the elliptical machine at the gym better. I used to spend about an hour on the elliptical. It was boring and took way too long. Now, my workouts are actually enjoyable and the time passes by a quicker. I didn't even notice the time my last workout took and I chose a 45 minute workout. I really like that fact that I can now choose elliptical when I am a little burned out on running. Great app!

Absolutely love it!. This app is amazing! I've been so motivated to go to the gym now. I've been using it for more than a month and I noticed my energy levels go up, as well as my endurance. My legs are getting toned and using the elliptical is not boring any longer. I love how motivating and fun the workouts are.

Still the best out there. Update 2021: So after so many years of using LOLO, still the best enjoying the concept and never get bored while working out! I hope they keep updating the app ... love how their music technology pushes you to do more and more and more!

Just what I needed.. I recently got an elliptical machine for my house and I was excited to see that lolo made an elliptical app. I have their other two, and they're great. This one didn't disappoint either. I've worked out many times on an elliptical and I didn't realize i could great such a challenging workout with one. Thanks lolo, your apps continue to push me.

Great app except cool down. I like this app. The “coach” gives you updates on time left on each interval. I completed the beginner level of 20 days, but I did not feel ready to ramp it up, so I went back and redid some of the previous days. The one thing I don’t like is the cool down section. Almost every time, the “coach” says it’s time to cool it down. (I’m on beginner, so my workout has me working at 40, 45 and 50 rpm) And the workout section ends at a 50 rpm interval. The cool down is an interval of 50 rpm! How can the cool down be at a 50 rpm rate?? It should drop by at least 5 rpm, to 45. And I can’t use the touch control to lower the intensity. It doesn’t work because I’m on beginner level,I think. Other than that, it is a pretty good app. I notice the last update was 2 years ago. This could be a great app with a new update.

Great app. This app is the best for elliptical training in the App Store. The workouts vary day to day to keep you out of a rut. I do wish it could read your heartbeat on the apple watch so it could adjust calories accordingly.

So frustrated.... I have been using this elliptical app for over 3 years. When I started it was really the only one I could find that guided you through a workout. I loved it! I never was bored. Over the last year, my use was more sporadic as I trained for a marathon. However, the weather is getting colder and I plan to use my elliptical again on a regular basis. I opened my app as usual, changed my workout to 60 minutes, and then discovered ALL of my music (3 years worth!) was gone! It has happened before by my own mistake, but I easily (although, not quickly) was able to find my playlist in my music and transfer all of it back into the app. This time, that is not an option. I cannot get my own music into the app. I cannot use the BeatBurn unless I use the 15 or so songs that are stored within the app, that I did not put there & it is music that I do not care to listen to. I can listen to my playlist in the background, but it will not necessarily match the workout/beat I should be doing. The main reason I love this app is no longer available to me within the app and it's really discouraging. If/when the user can transfer their own music back into the workout, this is a 5 star app. Until then, it's not motivating enough to use it.

The bomb!. I was initially wary of buying this program, but I'm so glad I did. It pushed me to do a way harder workout than usual, but the encouragement and countdowns from the trainer made it easier! I'm the kind of person who likes to work to the beat of whatever my music is, so I love the fact that it can change he tempo is cool. It's worth the money!

*Developers* Great start! Now profiles?. I love the app, big time! I can only agree with all the positive reviews, but I would absolutely love to have the option of setting up different user profiles in this and the treadmill apps. Also, I would love to be able to set up my playlist before or after my workout instead of only being able to while my workout is in progress. Thanks for all you do, keep up the great work!!!

Love!. I have had this app for years. I love it. My workouts are always challenging I never get bored. The only thing I’d ask is for the option for longer workouts. I love my hour but some days I’d wish I could go longer without starting a new workout and going through another warm up. Other then that I have loved it and still do! 🙌🏽

Not worth the money. The music on this app is horrible. I try and put my play list in from I Tunes, but it won’t let me. All of the music is downloaded to my phone and it keeps telling me I need to download it. If I knew it was going to be like this I wouldn’t have purchased.

Not quite as expected.... Maybe my 3G iPhone can't support the full BeatBurn. Turns out 15 songs of my library are the limit (I thought it would access my playlist at large). Not a big problem to choose 15 favorites, but I am having trouble getting songs chosen in the 'right' category of BPM (beats per minute). Hmmm. I thought this was going to adjust my tunes to match the beat, but doesn't seem to do that. The chosen songs are uploaded and evaluated for BPM by BeatBurn. Not sure what the criteria are and it offers no suggestions for choosing music in different levels of BPM (seems to need a range from 80 to 150BPM). The 'upbeat 24 songs' included on BeatBurn are all very techno, and so far both monotonous and very unfamiliar to me. I think I am better off making my own playlist and setting my elliptical for 30 minutes if I want to work out to what I like. However, I give the voice and directions 5 stars for pleasantness and planning. If I could just figure out the music (the reason I BOUGHT this app) I will be happy!

Great price for a great app. I love this app. We recently bought an elliptical and after a month of just plodding through the same workout I was really bored and burnt out. I didn't touch the thing for a few weeks. But then I found this app and now I actually look forward to my daughter's nap time so I can work out. It walks you through the entire workout with short enough intervals that you don't get bored, get plenty of challenge and plenty of recovery and the time goes by really quickly. I love how each workout is a little more challenging than the last but not so much that you dread it. I work up a great sweat! I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't know where to start or who is stuck in a rut in their workout routine.

Needs option to TURN OFF the "interactive personal trainer". I was very excited to try this app, but I am disappointed by its lack of cofigurability. I want to set my own workouts. This "interactive personal trainer" does not know what I need. Also, I hate that pre-recorded voice talking at me all the time. Even though I set "Play Coaching Audio" to OFF, she just keeps talking and talking and talking. Annoying! I can't use this app unless it becomes more configurable to MY needs and preferences. The beat matching function is great, but I want to adjust the BPM to the rate of my choosing.

Almost Perfect. Pros - I've been using this app for the last couple weeks and have been really impressed with how much it improves my elliptical workout, I guess before without a trainer I wasn't pushing myself, so far I've felt it working my whole body a lot more. I love the playlist integration and ability to choose my own songs and have the tempo changed to match the workout, makes it really easy to follow without having to monitor your RPM's the whole time. Overall great app, the price is great, it's similiar to this NextFit thing my wife tried out for a few mos last year but doesn't have a monthly $30 subscription and the iphone interface is a million times better then their cheesy little mp3 player. Love it. Cons - If there were room to improve it would be mostly for me on the way the playlist is played back, I understand the need to have a wide variety of differing tempo songs loaded, but the problem I've noticed is I can't really get into a song before it's cuttoff halfway through when the trainer decides to change the RPM's, if there was a way to keep the same song and just adjust it's tempo to match that'd make it much less anoying and a better experience overall.

Awesome amazing app!. I was having problems with the app after the last update and I reached out to the developer on FB. I received a prompt reply with steps to correct the problems. Everything is working as it should and I'm back to my extreme love of this app. BeatSync is by far the biggest selling feature. Use your own music and tempo is adjusted. Get it. Worth the money & you will have no regrets.

This app is great, people need to learn to do 3rd grade math. This app is great! It really makes your workout fly by. The interval training is really effective. I usually hate working out, but this makes it not so bad. For people complaining about the supposed complexity of calculating the resistance levels, you are idiots. If it says "60% resistance" and your elliptical only goes to level "20", 12/20=0.6 , or 60%. Go back to third grade and learn math.

Nice App. First, let me say that I've been using this for a couple of weeks and I really like this app. I use it every day. There are just a few things, in my opinion, that would make this app great. 1. The ability to change songs with the remote on earbuds! More often than not, songs repeat and it is not very user friendly to have to tap the little arrow to bring up the music controls and then tap the little forward button when you are getting your work in on the elliptical. If that is not possible, how about making the controls much bigger? 2. Why can I only choose 15, 30 and 60? There should be a slider to choose workout duration. Maybe 5 minute increments. 3. Users should be able to use another slider to determine the frequency of how often you switch between forward and backward. In some workouts, I go backward more than forward and I hate that, so I just skip some of the backward time. If anything, I would say music controls is the most important thing. Thanks for reading. Again, I really like the app and this is one of many of the lolo apps that I own.

Great workout but could be better. I have been getting great workouts from this app, but it could be better. It would be nice if there were more instruction about form. It has you crank the resistance up really high - reminding you that you should use your arms and legs to move rather than the force of your body bouncing up and down would be a good thing to do under those circumstances. Also, reminding you to roll your shoulders back and use your core would be helpful. I assume they're trying to make sure this works for people who are using machines with arms as well as those who are not, but I think they could find away around this and give more useful instruction. Even if these are things people should know already, it's always useful to be reminded. It's also true that the interface for including your own music is pretty clunky. But I definitely work much, much harder than I ever have on the ellliptical trainer, and it's worth it for that.

Useless. I don’t get the purpose of this app the workouts are weak and it just has zero utility - don’t waste your money.

Really great workout app. I have only been using this for a few days, but I already really like it. It's easy for me to become bored with my elliptical, and this app is just what I needed to make it more challenging and interesting.

Great app. This is a great app that really does work if you stick to it. I have lost more weight than my goal weight by using this along with MyFitnessPal. My only complaint is I don't have much time to squeeze in workouts. Which is why I bought an elliptical. And the workouts say a certain time. But because it pauses the time when she talks, it actually takes longer than it gives. It's only a few minutes but I do it really early in the morning and am in a rush to get ready for work. Other than that..it's great!!

Even Better Than Treadmill Version. I was loving BeatBurn Treadmill but getting sick of the treadmill itself. So glad I decided to see what else LoLo made. The elliptical was a nice change of pace and BeatBurn once again does not disappoint. Makes my workout a breeze. The music really drives you on an elliptical, far more than it does when you're running. This app is a necessity for a good elliptical workout. Thanks LoLo, another winner.

Resistration doesn't work. DONT BUY I bought the app and I cant even registrate, so I cant use it. I sent 3 different emails tu their support area and no answer at all So freaking disappointed. DONT BUY

Love the app, but please fix the music!. The most recent update notwithstanding, this app is pure awesome. It's like having a personal trainer to give you instructions/cues/advice, and the beat of the music changes to match, so your body always knows what to do. Having said that, the music is kind of screwy now. Unlike the other reviews of the latest version, the problem I'm experiencing is that the music ISN'T speeding up when it's supposed to (e.g., when it's supposed to be 90 bpm, it consistently fails to increase beyond 65 through multiple songs).

Work in progress. First, I use this app along with other BeatBurn apps daily and love them all...except this one! I find THIS one and the lack of support for it very frustrating!! An update to fix the crashing and music problems has been promised forever, but they seem more intent on supporting their newer apps! I, too, am sick of the canned music that came with it! I have over 500 songs that I've added covering all BPM needs. I should never be subjected to what someone else thinks I might like! This version crashes constantly, and if it doesn't crash in the middle, it doesn't "finish" completely leaving you to hope that your workout got recorded correctly. I DO love the app, but I would wait for the next version...IF it ever comes! WHEN an update comes that fixes its issues, I will be very excited and will happily/quickly change my rating to five stars!! In the meantime, I'm sick of waiting for empty promises!!

Needs mph option. The trainer and tunes were good for my first workout but you also need a mph option for speed as that is all some newfangled machines display (my gym has "lifeFitness" machines which display "speed" which I assume means mph...) Also - I have a few thousand songs on my itouch and when I try to run them all through for beat analysis it crashes every time. Is there a size limit on how many songs you can add? One last thing - at 80 or 90 rpm's, it feels like the machine is going to fall over, like I'm going to fall over, and I just find it really uncomfortable. I'd rather top out at about 70 rpm's with a higher resistance setting. Perhaps you could add a maximum rpm's setting? Make these changes and you'll get 5 stars. Thanks!

Updated review.... My original review follows this one. At this time, however, i feel it is necessary to downgrade this app from 4 stars to 3. It's very good for its intended purpose, but it is very buggy. With each update, new bugs appear. It's quite annoying. The countdown timer is off, the calories burned that are counted don't match the figure on Facebook sharing. If I try to view my history, it locks up. I changed my Facebook password but can't change it on this app, so the sharing function doesn't work. Losing patience... ---------original review follows----- I've been using this app for about 4.5 months and, combined with the Lose It! app, have lost 21 pounds. It provides challenging workouts with lots of flexibility. I am not a "fitness buff", but I am kinda liking exercise now. I like the ability to post my workouts on Facebook, as it provides a sense of accountability and I have fb friends who cheer me on in my efforts. Only real complaints: first, with the latest update the calories counted are significantly lower than the amount reported on fb. Second, I can't stand the lousy lolo music and have set a varied playlist of my own, but it still sneaks in some of that horrible music on the 30-second intervals. Regardless, I'll continue to use it and have recently started using the boot camp app.

Need exact time. I have been using this app for the last 6 months. I like it, however there are a few areas to improve on. 1. This is NOT the app to use for couch to elliptical. You need to have some stamina and familiarity with the elliptical before you use the beginner setting. It took me 6 months of using the elliptical on my own to feel comfortable using this app. 2. The narrator/coach talks in between intervals and the timer stops. This drives me nuts! Give me an exact time that this session will be. The elliptical I use at the gym times down from the time set. With the narrator gabbing in between intervals, this has screwed up my total time on the elliptical.

Not like the other beatburn apps. I love my other apps from lolo ... This one has had trouble since this get go. It would crash while loading songs so they told me to load less songs at a time. It wouldn't pick my songs even when I had it set to only pick my songs ... They told me I needed slower songs! What is the point ? It is supposed to take your songs and slow them down. half the workout is that awful techno stuff they provide ... I'd rather listen to my songs at half speed that their stuff. Now the app won't even load. It crashes everytime ... They told me to reinstall ... So I'll have to reload all my song. App not even worth 3.99 ... Wish I could return it for all the time I've put into setting it up.

Persistent Issues Since iOS 8. This used to be a great app but persistent bugs since the release of iOS 8 have not been addressed. The app looses workout history and always reverts to Day 1 of the program. Music doesn't cycle properly - I have over 100 songs on my iPhone app playlist but sometimes the app repeats the same song 3 times during a 45 minute workout. The app has a lot of potential. When working properly it provides great motivation and measurable fitness gains. The company, however, has been extremely slow to address the flaws they acknowledge have appeared since iOS 8.

DO NOT BUY Not a beginner work out. This is in no way a beginner exercise on the elliptical. If you are looking for something for someone with no endurance and little muscle mass go someplace else. The music is terrible, but I don’t like to workout to music so I shut it off and put on a podcast anyway. There needs to be more information on what any of these setting mean for a beginner. This app assumes institutional knowledge. What is elliptical resistance scale? How can I set it if I don’t even know what it means? A quick google brings up nothing. What is RMP vs SPM? Is 4.5 on a LTF elliptical the same? Thats about how fast I run, but this app says 45 rpm. Calorie adjustment? You’d think that the website would explain some, but it doesn’t. I can only assume that lolo doesn’t care since they have their money.

Good workout. Am using the Lolo apps for elliptical and treadmill. I hate aerobics but these are sufficiently varied and motivational to keep me going. I do wish that the elliptical resistance was better explained. The machines I use have a scale from 0 - 20. When lolo instructs me to do 50 % does that mean setting the resistance at 10 ? I am at a beginner level and found 10 to be way too hard to do. I like to vary my equipment. Is there hope for a stationary bike program?

great app, but a few tweaks could be made.... i do love this app and find that it helps me to push hard. also, it's nice having a different "workout" every time. and i love the simplicity of it! however, a couple of things could be better: 1) this is my biggest complaint… the time stops when she is talking. so my 60 minute workout, actually ends up being around 70 minutes. i do these over my lunch break and i simply do not have that extra 10 minutes. i'm still moving while she is talking, so the time should continue to move as well. 2) once a playlist is loaded, it should stay loaded. it takes too long to load a playlist every time and often crashes when i'm trying to load it. other than that, it's a fantastic app!!

GET THIS APP!! It will change your workout routine, motivate you, and get results!!. I have a hard time sticking to exercise programs. We bought a nice elliptical trainer over a year ago, and it's been used less than 10x by my wife and I combined! However, this app has been rocking my world for the last 2 weeks. The app changes the BPM of the music to set the pace for fast/slow cycles, which really helps keep you going strong and keeps the workout interesting. The coach is appropriately motivating without being overbearing. I will admit that I have spouted profanities at her during workouts, and if she were real, she may well have received a few punches to the face!! (mostly because I'm an out of shape slug, and she pushes me harder than I would push myself!). However, I find that I've responded positively and push myself, not wanting to disappoint her (myself, really). Only complaint is that there seems to be a limit on how much music you can import into the beat mixer. I have a Workout playlist with around 90 songs, and I was only able to import about half of them. Would be nice to have additional variety, but I imagine they limit the number of songs because the analysis of the BPM takes extra storage space for each song. I can deal with that. GET THIS APP!! It will change your workout routine, motivate you, and get results!!

Pros and Cons to Variety. I love that I can change difficulty mid-workout as needed. I LOVE that the intervals are short (30 seconds to 2 minutes), that the trainer calls out time left in the interval, and there is a 5-second countdown at the end of each interval. I LOVE that the BPM of my own music can be changed to match the RPM's that the trainer wants me to go at. I love that I don't listen to a song for very long before the next interval comes along and the song changes. But it can definitely feel like you're watching TV with someone who can't stop channel-surfing, and sometimes you just want to grab the remote from them and it's driving you crazy and can they PLEASE just stick with one thing for just a FEW minutes!? I also agree with another user's review which points out that the app timer stops while the Lolo trainer is telling me what my next interval is going to be. As a result, in a half hour workout, I am frequently using the elliptical machine for 3-5 minutes longer than the Lolo app predicts. Good thing my elliptical machine tracks calories too. I log the calories burned per my elliptical machine and I see the calories burned per the app as just an estimate.

Even better than treadmill!. I've been using the treadmill version of beat burn and I like it a lot, so I purchased this one to mix it up. I just did a 60 minute elliptical and burned more than 30% more calories than i do in the same time on the treadmill. This thing really pushes you. The beat makes it really easy to maintain a consistent pace and I definitely think it makes you work harder than trying to maintain a pace on elliptical by yourself. Really great app, what's up next lolo?

Apparently Elliptical Machines are Challenging.. I tried elliptical machines in the past before and it never really seemed like much of a workout. I've been using the BeatBurn Treadmill app for a while and I love it so I figured i'd give this one a try at my gym and I was shocked what a tough workout it was. I was a little over confident I suppose since I selected advanced. Guess I forgot that lolo makes tough workouts. I had to drop the intensity a lot but still got a great workout. I think I'm going to switch to the intermediate and swap back and forth between this and the treadmill app. Another great one lolo! Thank you. Update: I had a problem with my music clearing out. Contacted support and they helped me out within minutes. Great app, great support.

Great App!. I am in love with this app. Have been using it for just about three weeks and I'm finding that I actually look forward to my workouts... It's such a great change for me! My only complaints - 1. Despite having over 100 songs loaded, the app uses the same handful of songs every day. Really really annoying. 2. I'm not able to post any of my workouts to Facebook. There's always an error. Aside from this, it's a great app and I would (and have) recommend it!

I heart lolo. I just got back from my first experience with lolo beat burn for the elliptical! I have been using lolo burn for the treadmill for awhile now and love it... but to be honest - ever since I've gotten it, I have ditched the elliptical! SO excited to have it back in the rotation again! Lolo Beat Burn for the elliptical gives you the rpms to shoot for and tells you what level to set your elliptical on. It made my 30 minute workout go by so quickly today! It's nice to again have the option of going on the treadmill or the elliptical and having lolo with me on either machine. It is a great motivator - and honestly, working out without it now - is a bore! I just got a great workout - and am so excited about this new app! Great work! Great app! I'm SO your biggest fan!!! Needs max resistance setting. Overall good app. Would like to ask for a max resistance setting, so that I can choose to have intense workouts (intermediate or advanced) without having to crank up the resistance past 75% (or 15 if max is 20), bc I am not wanting to build bulkier leg muscles. Trying to change this during the workout takes away from the workout, as it then messes with the overall intensity I am looking for. Made my workouts less than satisfying, having to adjust, readjust, adjust again, etc. during the interval portion. Also, the instructions say to tap twice on the portion of the workout you want to skip to, but this hasn't worked for me yet. The bar you tap twice on just blinks for a while, and that is it. Also, an option to skip the warm up would be good, as I often start this workout after I have already warmed up with other exercises.

A lot to like and not. So this is a great set of apps...but if you have a large music collection it does struggle with crashes common. It is also a drag to have to set your music lists up for each app individually. It really is crying out for a centralised cloud based beat per minute database that users feed into....but that said...when it works its excellent.

Challenges you to get it done!. I love this app! I have been using it with my new elliptical and it really held me to stay on track with getting my workouts in every day-- which is exactly what I need as a mom!

Difficult to use. I have found this application frustrating to use. Difficult to change any settings. It starts playing music as soon as I start the app, and there doesn't appear to be any way to change that. The controls are difficult to find and not intuitive. Rather than using an available song with the appropriate bpm, it uses a song that is too slow or too fast, and adjusts the speed, which makes it sound unnatural. There are songs with the appropriate bpm in my library, but it won't use them.

Decent. Great motivating app, but has a lot of frustrating bugs on the music side. Adding in your own playlist and it can't calculate the BPM on most new songs. I spent 20 mins adding in music then because I didn't directly go to a workout, it lost all of that music I had added. It has the potential to be a 5 star..fix the little bugs though

Best exercise tool for me. This has really motivated me to use my elliptical. I went from maybe two or three times a week for 20 minutes to 30 minutes everyday. The workouts are challenging and fun. Now I am seeing real results. Lolo literally saved my life. Ever app can have some improvements, but Lolo is a real winner. Whatever Lolo wants Lolo gets and Lolo wants you to be healthy!

Not Good For The Money. If I would have paid $0.99 for this app, I wouldn’t be so incensed. The app closes on me in the middle of my workout, and the machines I work on don’t have resistance levels in percent. This was a total waste of my money; I should have paid attention to the other reviews. I use the Media Mix app for workouts now, where I can create my own playlist, and the songs crossfade into one another. I just pick some fast and slow workout songs and change my resistance depending on the song.

Fantastic. I enjoyed Podfitness, and this is a great upgrade. My first workout with this app I beat my own best time by a full 20%. The motivation, the beat synching and my music is a great combination.. I am going back to get the 5K app for my outdoor days, but this is a great app.

Must have!. Another motivational work out application that keeps my attention with a variation of activities. My knee started hurting from running so I gave the elliptical a try, I am hooked now. The music keeps you engaged and it is awesome to see the increased distance each work out.

Awesome. I actually finish my full workout without hating it! The short change up and music definitely make a difference. Should combine treadmill and elliptical into one app though.

Settings. My only requests are more variety with the music. I've loaded 50 songs and it still plays the same 3. Also wish you could set a minimum RPM setting. It'll ask me to go at 40 or 45 and the elliptical that I'm on wont allow me to go that slow. The machine shuts off and then I have to start my workout over again.

Love this app. This app has revived my elliptical workout. I actually look forward to it! I suggest it to my friends and basically anyone who will listen. I look forward to my workouts now! I haven't had any of the issues others have talked about. I wonder if your IOS is up to date.

Obsessed!. I'm in love with app! I usually find it hard to make it through a 25 minute workout but, since downloading this app its so easy to get through a 45 minute workout because the time flies. It's certainly challenging at points but so worth it.

Crashing!. I liked this app so much. Now just updated it and it keeps crashing if I go into settings and I can't view my workout history anymore. What's the point of an update that makes the app worse?

Can't be beat!. Read the reviews and bought it. Love getting on the elliptical now enjoying every minute of the workout. Beginner level builds up to keep the body guessing. I combine with 5 min workout apps and then stretch. Awesome!

Resistance Issue. Love the concept! My issue is with this thing telling me to set resistance to levels above 20, it told me 60 today. What ellipticala go that high? My home machine goes to 20 and the one at gym stopped at same level. Develop an option for users to enter their machines highest level so that the workout is more accurate. Thx

Fantastic workout!!. This is a great app!! It scans your playlist and adjusts the BPM of your songs (with no loss of pitch) and builds you a 15, 30, or 45 minute workout that includes intervals and progressive resistance. I get in a great workout....and the best part....a 45 minute hard elliptical workout is over in what seems like 10 minutes!! Buy it now!

Help!. I have this app for my elliptical as well as for the treadmill, which I absolutely love! I haven't been able to use the elliptical app yet because mine isn't measured in RPMs or Strides, it's measured in MPH. Any suggestions on how to adjust would be welcomed! Or an update to the app would be great.

lolo Fan!. I bought this app and their running app to give me some options at the gym. I'll admit I've been using the running one a lot more, but this one is great too. I thought the beginner workouts were a little too easy, but I guess that just means I'm awesome.

Would love it if not for the glitches. I bought this because I love the treadmill/jogging version...but every time I start the program, it won't let me pause the program or access music. I can over ride the time left, but nothing else! Hoping there will be an update to fix?!

Game changer!. This app justifies the cost of your iPhone, it's that good. The time flies, your own music keeps you moving, and best of all - no thinking! Worth Every Penny.. This program takes the hard fought time you spend on the elliptical and makes it fun and much more productive. I'm glad I bought it and I highly recommend it.

Something went wrong with the last update. My music is being sped up to crazy speeds. It isn't necessary as I have lots of higher BPM songs. And it used to switch them as necessary. I've loved this app for over 2 years now, but this could be a deal breaker. I hate having to pause or stop arm movement to switch songs.

A few suggestions!. I love this app but I have a few suggestions: 1. Make the History in a Calendar Format, for an increase in motivation in completing streaks. And each completed day shows a check mark and when you click on the day, it still shows you the information or progress you made for that day. 2. Add a little interval timer aside from the total timer. Every time I see a timer, it makes me push myself harder. 3. Add more motivation voice coaching especially for more difficult intervals. 4. Add a reminder notification. Say remind myself every 10am.

Motivating app. Overall, I love this app & the concept behind it really works for me. I have had issued with the screen freezing. Also, regardless of the amount of music I load, it seems there's not much variety in the music it chooses for me.

Another Winner!. I got an elliptical for Christmas, don't worry I asked for one.:) I bought this app right away. I have the treadmill BeatBurn too and this one is even better. The music makes it so easy to settle right into the exact pace without even needing to look at the readout. It's another winner.

Makes me work!. I love to move but exercise is boring. This app has you moving to the beat of your own music while a woman with a really nice voice challenges and encourages you. There so many changes of resistance and changes of strides per minute, times flies, and before you know it, you've done your thirty minutes and you're dripping with sweat. I hope the developer sticks with it.

Won't upload MY Music!!! Screen Locks often... The concept of this app is great, too bad all of the features don't work properly. I have tried multiple x's to upload my usual workout mix, it acts as If the music is uploading but then goes right back to playing the app music, which is not my ideal workout music.... The screen also locked a few times and I couldn't press pause or any other buttons on the screen, had to turn my phone off just to get it to shut off.... Customer serv. Really needs to fix the glitches!!!

Great Cross Training Workout!. If you need a super effective no impact option, this is the perfect app for you. I've never had such an effective workout on an elliptical. Lolo is just amazing!

Non-functional in its current state. I used this app again for half an hour today and it still skipped the instruction parts 7 (!) times. It would speed up the music and not tell you what to do in what resistance level! It's the most distracting thing possible, when you are sweating on a machine. Shame on the developers who hasn't been able to fix this app since ios 8 was introduced almost half a year ago! They made this app, which used to be quiet good, totally useless. Bug fixes, please!!!

Amazing workouts!!. This app is amazing - it lets you customize it to whatever style elliptical you are using and does the "math" for you!! You can eliminate the music and still hear the coaching by simply turning the volume all the way down on the app's music tab. Best elliptical workouts I have ever had!!

The Motivation You Need. Fantastic app. I used my elliptical on a daily basis and then got so bored I stopped. This app has put me back on daily. And I am getting a much better workout. The voice pushing you is very pleasant and motivational. It's worth the money. You won't be disappointed.

Crashes. I was excited about the app and after reading all of the positive reviews, I went ahead and spent the money. I have yet to get past the initial login without it crashing. It now looks like all the positive reviews below were false and I'd love to have money back. I will happily change my review if something is done to make my experience better.

Really good workout. Just what I was looking for. I found that I wasn't using my equipment correctly by leaving controls static. Following this program, the workout was far more effective. Killer app!
