Quick and easy. This app is very location sensitive...I mean extremely sensitive! The information it provides is rock solid accurate. In juvenile terms "it rocks."

Very usefull. I am a pilot and I use this app. on every layover to find the food (via restaurant or groceries) that I want to eat plus things to do.

Not as Reliable as it Should Be.. This app finds some of the most obvious places you might be searching for in a city, but it is not reliable, useful or comprehensive in non-urban areas, which is where you really need it. It is a great idea that was released before it was finished.

Very Useful!!. This App is just like a map except more accessible. I can check out all the zoos, museums, restaurants, parks, stores, and whatnot near me with this simple app.

Fabulous tool. This is a must have app when exploring a new city.

Km ---> Miles. I need miles for my distance not KM. The app looks promising but the distance is way off. I hope there is an upgrade soon. I won't beagle to use this app while I'm on vacation.

One correction. Looks like a fantastic app. I haven't had a chance to use it much yet though, just playing around w/ the features at home. The only problem so far is a typo in the keyword search list. 'Florist', I assume, is missing the F, so it says Lorist. Therefore, when you tap on it to search, it doesn't find anything. Otherwise it is a very well designed, intuitive app.

Great. This app is great for finding a place fast and easy.

Liked it better before updates. After the last update, FindNearMe is not as easy or functional to use. The old version had menus which came in and out from each side so you could see the map and menu at the same time. Now you have to go back and forth from one screen to another. Also, the white instructions that overlay every time you begin can't be disabled and keep popping up. We have used FineNearMe when traveling for years and loved it but could someone please tell me how to undo this update on my iPad?!

Very helpful. Needs some tweaking for more categories but very helpful while out of town.

Travel a lot. This app has been very helpful in my travels. Do agree it would be better if it added a navigation link, and a website link. That being said, I have found several necessary and fun things with this app.

Really helps. Had relatives visiting from California. Unfortunately we all had to work, so they were on their own heading into NYC. I had them download this app, so they could find things to do! Really gave great choices, and suggestions!

My favorite. Of all the "find" apps I've tried, so far this one is still my favorite.

Useful app. This app is helpful. I used it on a long motorcycle trip where I didn't know where I would spend the night until late in the day.

The Nothing Near Me App. Doesn't work... always brings up a dialog warning box that says the keyword could not find any results for the area... a waste of time and space on your device!

Straight & Direct. What I love about this app is its quick and intuitive. Pretty accurate for "on the fly" searches. Great when out of town and looking for a variety of services.

ADDS ADVENTURE TO YOUR LIFE!. What I said. One of the few Apps that can actually add adventure to your life. Try it with a group of your foodie friends! Finds great places around you you've never heard of. It's Vegas with a win-win outcome.

All ads no help. Your search is immediatedly buried in ads and unwanted links. This app is built to sell, not inform. There's info in the first window, just enough so you'll waste time trying for more. Stay away!!

Excellent app!. This has been a great help to me as I've been traveling between two states and it's made finding everything I need a breeze.

Find Near Me is worthless. Actually, less than worthless. Since the last update, this app has been frozen on my iPad. Can't use it. Can't update it. And can't remove it. Total waste and I paid for the ad-less version. Worked fine until that last "improvement." Zero stars.

To many advertisements. You have to watch an advertisement every time you try to find a destination. Some advertisements won't let you exit out of them. I'm deleting this app. I'll find one that doesn't require me to watch an advertisement each time.

Lots of issues. I know its supposed to be able to search somewhere other than where you are... But it wont work. Also cant figure out how to give it a radius for searching.

Easy yo use & always helpful. I travel a lot and this app comes in handy with all the quick categories which are readily available. In addition, when you add a Catagory, boom it gives you their best info they have at hand.

Near Me. This app works for me. I find it easy to introduce new items, and the save tag is great too. Recently traveling I ended up at a great coffee shop Made the start to my day better.

Coverage. After trying 5-6 apps of this kind 'finally' found this one. It shows far more location/subjects than all others. Used it every day while on vacation and never failed.

Works 20% of the time. I'd love this app if it actually worked. It's very buggy on iPad 3 with current updates. Most of the time it just doesn't show anything. When trying to move around the map and change size, the app freezes or crashes or does nothing. I rarely even try to use it anymore.

Awesome. Love this app. The only thing I would like is the ability to put in the name of a place to seach for. Or maybe I can and haven't dsicovered how.

Nice App - Will Use From Now On. I've been testing this for awhile now. Appears to be very accurate. I especially like how they have individual categories for Restaurants, Pizza, Pubs, etc and don't lump them together like other apps do.

Never Fail. I've used this apt many times with outstanding results!

Pawfam. This is a great app. It works best when you search for sites close to you home. It shows the streets and pin points your home location. I like the phone number feature so I don't have to call 411. Maps and locations need updating some businesses are closed down. Still a great app.

Tried three similar apps, all worthless. This app just drops pins on a map showing locations of what you are looking for. No names or descriptions; you'd have to drive there to see what it actually is. This is a great idea in search of a really well done app, which apparently does not yet exist.

A reluctant 5. Helpful out of town: yes A wide variety: yes Searches for non listed categories: not so good Better than google for quick geographical searches: yes due to the map when traveling. Overall: very helpful but not so thorough.

Unusable. Ads cover the content. Useless.

Pretty good, but.... It does give a long list of options, but directions, as are available in the "Around Me" app would make it much better. For now I'll stick to that one.

Find me. Sometimes it can't find key words , sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't , you could make this a awesome program !

Handy app. Good for looking things near where you are, or where you are going to be. It is like Google, except easier to switch between say, restaurants and coffee shops with a tap. For a free app, it's pretty good.

Not ready for 'prime time'. The concept is good, albeit not new. The interface is good, simple, clean, with nice icons. But it lacks many features and settings. To begin with, it is slow, very slow loading the pins corresponding to different categories, at least the first time. The data are inaccurate for several categories (it might not be the app's fault; apparently data came from Google). It lacks customization: one can't save searches, can't keep two categories, no ratings or links, etc. Needs a lot of work (it is fast delivering and changing ads, though; quite annoying).

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. Disconnects with ipad mini2. App does not appear to be compatible with ipad mini 2. It disconnects and returns to homepage every time I try to go to any location. I finally deleted app.

Crashes. Every time I search for POI's near me it crashes...

Totally Useless. Does not show 3 major supermarkets that are within 2 miles of me. Restaurants - shows several that have changed names or are closed. show a restaurants in my subdivision! Need an app like poynt that is available for the iPhone.

Crashy Crashy. Someone told me this was not working for them and would not pin point places on the map. I downloaded it and it crashed whenever I picked something to locate. I have an iPad 2.

Worthless spyware. Location services are available full time only, to be shared with advertisers. Showed me nothing not on Apple maps.

Find near me. I downloaded "Around Me"first,then decided to try "Find Near Me" I like this app better.It uses Google maps and looks better.

Bozo bob. Used recently on an out of state trip. Excellent resource for Locating various types of services.

Good. Its an ok app... Not sure how to change km to miles for the distance. Maybe there will be improvements on the future updates. I will be using it when I travel and need to find nearby coffee shops, etc. But I believe I will need to get a different app for attractions & to find fun activities.
