What Happened?. I don't know what happened to this app since the last time I used it, but it is now close to useless. I've built packing lists for trips we take regularly. I used to be able to clear the check marks, but now there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. I loved this app, but they have severely diminished its functionality.

Great app!. I love this packing app. It starts with a detailed categorized list of things people might need for travel, especially including items that I might not have thought of until I needed them. You just choose what what you want. It lets you add your own categories and items, and specify quantities. Then it helps you keep track of how much is packed. This is exactly what I was looking for to help me get ready for any trip. Thank you!

Awesome Checklists. My favorite app for various check list of items if I am going out.

Hate it!!!. This does not have the replanned list of items for you to check off. I like having the pre-made list then I don’t have to think about it. Trying to create categories and then input what I need to take is way more work than I want to do. Unless you have tome to sit and create your categories and then your list I wouldn’t bother. I’m deleting this app from my phone.

Huge help!. I travel a few times a year, and seem to forget something every time (usually something different each time). I like that I can update the list when I think of things, and then use the same list over and over for the same type of trip. I can also create different lists for family car trip vs. flying vs. business travel. My last trip was a lot less stressful because I knew I didn't forget anything.

After update. I used to love this app until I updated it this evening. Now I can only feel disappointed that I updated. It said new features, but absolutely ruined this very artful app. It took all the attractiveness out and made it look like some generic list. It had the nicest art work, and now looks like cheap clip art. I will delete and see if I can find something nice. It reminds me too much of the apple update that got rid of the nice art ( like the French sunflowers for photos) and replaced with ugly looking clip art. I hate when an app changes to unrecognizable with an update. I previously rated this app 5 star. Now I wish I could give less than one star. They really ruined it.

Ads.. The app seemed to work reasonably well, but the pop-up ads were just too much for me. I don't need to be distracted in the middle of my flow of thought while packing- I'll just go back to paper if I have to! I'll find something I can pay for that doesn't have ads.

Love love love this app. Sometimes it is just hard to remember everything when you are leaving in a trip. This app takes the stress out of packing to travel and worrying you are going to forget something important. I love that it is fully customizable, letting me create new lists, new categories and new items. I also love the icons that help me at a glance know if I might have a similar trip already ready to go without creating a new one. The copy feature is terrific if I am planning a similar trip but don’t want to forever change the original one I created. Just love it. Thank you for creating this awesome travel tool!

Pack The Bag. Unfortunately you can't open the app in any of the suggested app within the app. Too bad. How do you print your list out. I've transferred and imported the list but it can't be opened so that I can print it out. It would be helpful if the app had print capabilities. Otherwise… Great App and you can add additional items that you don't want to forget. This is my second year packing by this list. Try it out for size. You can send your list via email when you select all the list will appear in the email and you can print. But it doesn't look neat and prints too many pages.

Great app. This is an awesome, thoughtful app. If you expect it to be as flawless as the human brain and have a list for every possible packing situation, it won't be-- but then again, if that were the case, we wouldn't need an app. If you want helpful lists, reminders for yourself AND for others (your kids, spouse, sitter, etc.) this app is incredible. Custom listing fx could be better, but truly a great app

So much potential time savings. If you make routine trips, say beach vacation every year, you usually end up making a new list each year because the old list is lost or incomplete. Enter Pack The Bag! It not only has great lists to remind you of most categories and items, but you can personalize your lists. So far I love it!

Handy tool for frequent traveller. When you travel frequently, to different types of destinations, and with combinations of business and leisure travel, this is quite a handy little tool to make sure you haven't forgotten something essential. Definitely a worthwhile download, it has many default items to pack, gives the option to add and delete your own, and you can set up predefined lists to be reused for different kinds of trip.

Great app!. This app has a very detailed list to help you get started, but allows editing so that you can customize your lists. It took me a bit to figure out how to edit everything, but once I did, it was perfect. The developer may want to add a simple "how-to" because most things that reviewers wish this app did, it already does!

Solid app. Love this app. My family and I travel on vacation twice a year and I'm able to create lists per person. It's a bit wieldy to maneuver through but the pros outweigh the cons. I would like to see the ability to create default lists so we can dupe them and tweak for each trip. Maybe there's a way to do just that but perhaps I haven't found it. Probably due to wieldiness of maneuverability. Maybe also have a subsection of the app called Load The Car.

Good app. I deleted the app as it no longer worked but am happy to report it has been updated and is even better than ever. Much easier to switch between planning and packing than it was. Thank you!

Great app. This app works really well. I can add & delete categories. I set up a new category for my spouses clothes and was able to duplicate the clothes list deleting anything that did not relate to my spouse. I could add and delete all items I needed to as well as move an item from one category to another. The only problem I found was that one item would not move from one category to another after I hit done to go to the checkbox list.

Very useful. I really found this helpful for my upcoming trip, and will definitely use this on upcoming trips. The only thing I can think of that would make this better is if it integrated with a web-based tool, but for what this app does, I couldn't imagine anything better.

Pretty good app. I've used this app for a dozen or more trips and found it to be pretty good. I find it works best when you are doing the same kind of travel over and over - It is cumbersome to get your lists in order, but once you have input the array of things you usually take, it is very easy to adjust it for an individual trip. I you are going skiing this weekend and surfing next month and travelling to India after that, it's probably not the app for you. We travel out of town with a small child at least once a month, and it works really well for us. In 13 trips this year, I have very rarely been without something I needed. One great advantage of using this app is actually when we are packing to go home. When your initial pack list is comprehensive, you can just use it again to re-pack. I hardly ever leave anything behind now.

Great app but missing one feature. Great app overall. The only thing I would like to see added is the ability to sync lists between my iPad and iPhone. I prefer creating lists on my iPad because it's bigger thus easier but I always check things off on my iPhone because I can have it in my pocket while packing. Keep up the good work, highly recommend this app.

What a great little app!!!!!. I love it! I am a mother of four and packing for vacation, road trips and even grandma and grandpa's house for the day can be extremely frustrating. I always have that feeling in the pit of my stomach that I have forgotten something...and I usually have. Not anymore! This app has proved to be very effective and thorough. I no longer have to worry about getting someplace and not having what I need. Problem solved!

Nice Travel Helper. Now that I'm doing more traveling to various destinations for various purposes it's great to have an app that makes keeping my packing lists organized and at hand. This one is very intuitive and easy, yet I can add everything and anything to a list. I am even setting my opening and closing instructions for the family cottage with this. How great is that!?

Old version better. I've been using this app for years. Just tried the new version...awful. When I start a trip, I like to reset everything as 'not packed'. There's no way to do that now. Now I have to manually uncheck every item. Needs a button to do that, like before. The other thing...previously when you marked an item as packed, it moved off to the Packed tab, so all you had left was the Unpacked. Made it easier to see what was remaining. Now I'm constantly re-read the entire list every time I add something to a bag. The app should make things easier, not more tedious. Without those features, I might as well get out the old pen and paper. Probably won't use anymore.

Well thought out travel app. Although only you know what exactly you need to pack in your bag, this app does a pretty good job compiling a list of typical things you would take depending on what type trip you're doing: beach ski trip, camping etc. I find it very useful as a starting point to make sure I bring the basics and then of course the app lets you add the specific items that you yourself want to travel with. Kudos to the app for also including a checklist of things typically one wants to take care of before they leave on a trip. I've had this app for several years and I really can't think of what they could do to improve upon it.

Great app!. I love this app! I am much more organized on trips because of it. I wish it would automatically save to both my devices, though.

Not responding. Whenever I type to edit, it doesn’t respond. A tap to delete responds, but not typing.

Frequent packer. I really enjoyed using this app! You are able to choose many different categories of travel. So your list is truly customizable. You can also add extras that aren't on the lists provided. If you view your list under the "missing" button you view only the things you still need to pack!!! Great job. Totally recommend.

‘Pack Mode’ Not Showing Items to Pack. Running latest version and Pack Mode won’t display items to be packed when selecting any of the Categories in the Pack List. Currently useless.

Finally-A Good Packing List App!. I have looked for years for a Great Trip Packing App, and I have finally found one that is at least 95% of GREAT! How long have I looked? Since I used a Palm Pilot. All of these apps are simple databases, so what distinguishes them is their user interface. Pack The Bag has the best UI I have run into yet. It starts with A bunch of categories, each of which already contains many items. When you start a trip, all of them are turned off, so you scroll through the list turning on items you want to pack. But then the UI makes it easy to add new categories AND new items to every category that you want to pack, and you can delete categories and items you have mo need for. Need a lot of items? There is a "Pack All" button, as well as a "Click All Off" button, which many competitors lack It's also great to zero out the DB after a trip. I have it 4 stars because it could be easier to add items & categories, but otherwise it's a great interface and App. 4.5 stars really!

Does what it does well, BUT.... Paid for it...expect to see bugs fixed, e.g. difficult at best to add an Inventory Category. But once you learn how to use it, it’s a great app

Has the basics. I’ve evaluated a few packing apps and this one is pretty good (I paid to remove the adds). One of the features I was looking for was the ability to identify quantity, which this has, and for my long trips, a way to identify quantity used (to know quantity remaining), which this app does nit have but I use a work around. A few enhancements I’s like to see: 1) persistent access to search - such a basic feature to have when working with lists! if i’m looking for an item to pack, you have to navigate to filters, then search. should just be at the top of the list or accessible by pull-down 2) notes, for items (or even at the category level), i’d like to add notes to the item being packed. For example, Money - how much to bring based on a budget for the day, or if i’m packing shoes, a note about which outfit to pair. 3) better export formatting - i prefer a list with category header, and checkbox for the items. the current format tries to emulate that, but i don’t find it as user friendly as a simpler list display would be. exported text should be easy to use

Very helpful support!. A simple and elegant app- very helpful to me in mapping out what i need to do before my trip. There are nice design choices. I am enjoying using this app.

Difficult to use.. Not very useful and is difficult to navigate. Don’t bother wit it. Not worth space it uses.

Love it!. Love having the ability to edit and customize it to exactly what my family needs...my clothes, husband's clothes, kid's clothes, etc. It did take a bit of getting used to in order to do that, but it was worth it! It has absolutely taken a load off of my mind and simplified the process, especially with the ability to re-use lists for similar future trips. Love it!

Best I've found but should be confirmation for deleting entire list. Updated review: This a fantastic app for packing, the best I've found. Particularly like the storage location feature so I don't forget anything at my office, for example, and have to go back for it. Item count is particularly useful. When I repeat a trip I edit the counts & neither run out of anything or over pack. I also use the app in reverse to repack before I go home so nothing is left behind. The best packing list just got even better with several new features including the requested confirmation dialogue before being able to delete an entire list.

Awesome!. Exactly what I need! Makes packing easy with different lists for different things. I've made a different packing list for all of the types of trips we take. I can also make lists for each person. Easy to edit and very customizable. I even paid extra to upgrade because it's that good. Thanks!

This app is great!. I love this app. It is awesome. I am a list maker with travel and have lists on word docs, but this app makes that so much better! You can specialize the items on a packing list and type in your own ones. Took me some time to get my lists down like I wanted them, but now it is great!! If you are particular about list making for trips, you will love this. I think even if you don't care so much about the specifics but would like a guideline for packing, that this would help you out a lot! Love it; never going to ditch it!

GREAT App!. I looked at a bunch of packing lists a while back, and stuck with this one. The more I use it, the more I like it. It's really convenient not only for vacations or business trips, but also for day trips and overnights, especially if you have kids and need to stay organized. You can easily customize your own categories, add items and move them around to organize how you pack. You can then create lists, choose which items from the categories you want on the specific list, and once you've built your list, it checks off items as you pack. The user interface is really simply to learn and use. It has some nice usability features like copy lists, create a new category by copying another category, etc. I like the ability to email a list and reminders as well. I haven't used the dropbox support yet, but I plan to. I would highly recommend this app for anyone who travels, frequently or infrequently.

Fantastic free app!. The free features and ease of use on this packing list app surpasses any other free packing app that I've tried. It is just superb. Highly recommend!

Snake. Extremely useful for guiding and focusing for travel.

I love the app but it has its quirks. What I like: I now use it all the time when I travel, but it took a while to get used to it. I can add or eliminate things. It's simple, clean looking. I can email the list or print it. Especially, I had a question and I sent an email which got a very quick reply. So good customer service. For me that's very important. What I don't like: it has these mysterious numbers next to the article. I was told what it was but I forgot, I think they are useless. It takes too many clicks to customize it. I will try to come back with suggestions for improvement.

Totally awesome. This app fulfills all of my needs and then some. The Inventory feature is what makes this app usable and reusable for all of your future lists. As a suggestion for improvement, maybe you want to consider adding an optional "time to pack" field along with total time for each pack list. That way, the user will know how much time to set aside to pack for each trip. I often include preparation tasks before my trips like setting the sprinkler schedule, getting a haircut, emptying the litterbox, and filling our automatic cat feeder. Thanks

UPDATED: A Great for the Infrequent Traveler. Since the last update, I had to change my review to three stars. Unable to add items unless you close the app and restart. Seems very clunky now. My wife and I travel a couple times a year for vacation and this little app really helps when we, I mean, I'm feverishly packing my bag last minute. I like the fact that you can add and edit pre populated items within the app. We used to use a paper checklist but this app has done away with that. It's also nice to see how many more days until our next vacation (I use the previous pack list as a template.). Just a few updates since installing which means it's very stable. I highly recommend!

Made for list makers. I am the type of person to make crazy lists for everything important. This app does just that. It breaks all your items down into categories so they're easy to find and sort. It has lots of preprogrammed items to help you remember to put everything on your list. Along with these presets there is a feature that allows you to add your own items to their categories or make your own. It even sorts them alphabetically which I love. The last feature I love is that when you start checking things off there is an option to uncheck everything. So you can check that you have everything and then check that it is packed. And this app being free is great since it does its job perfectly.

Fantastic app!. This app is absolutely perfect for those of us who always seem to forget at least one thing when packing. Whether it be for a week long getaway or just running around town for a day you can create and save lists of whatever you need. The best thing is that you can add your own items if they aren't already listed. LOVE this app! EVERYONE should have it!

Perfect. I tried a bunch of other apps paid/ free. Deleted them all when I found this one. Love this app. This is the best packing list I have seen. It has a good set of categories pre built, and allows you to hide the items you will never need ( ie ciggarettes), and add your own items and categories. I used it to plan a 2 week trip to Hawaii and was able to sleep the night before knowing that I wasn't forgetting anything. The free version does have small ads at bottom, but they are not in the way. I bought the paid app, was worth it support development of more enhancements. Only wish- ability to permanently delete un-needed item/categories. Each enhancement keeps getting better.

Amazing:). I am one of those people who majorly stress when they are packing for a trip. I usually have five separate lists. I recently got my iPad and was tired of wasting ton of paper. I searched for days, going through different apps until I found this one. It was extremely easy to create my list. I recommend this app to anybody that stresses as much as I do, and wants to pack as quickly and smartly as possible.

Keeps me sane. This is a wonderful app!! I just got done using it to pack for a several-day trip and it was awesome. Weeks before the trip, I added things to the packing list as I thought of them, so I didn't have to worry that I would forget something. On packing day it totally kept me sane and calm and stress-free! It comes with just about every item you could think of, but you can also add custom items!

Easiest, most flexible, Period. A++!. I wish I had iOS8 to get the pro version. If you have ever used a list to pack, this is the ONLY app that lets you set stuff up like you think. All the others have a learning curve and are hard to add your own items. Great initial list of items with the familiar slider to add / include in your list. I tried about 14 before this own and deleted all the others.

Love this. Great app, easy to use. Only one thing-makeup is not one thing. I needed type in everything ie foundation, primer, mascara, lipstick, concealer etc etc. apart from that-love it!

Packing. Very handy app, well designed and easy to use. I use it every time I travel and the existing pack item categories mean that I include things I may otherwise have forgotten....

Simple to use. I have always been a "list-maker" and especially when preparing to travel. This app makes it so easy and even allows you to keep an eye on the status of your packing. It's flexible and comprehensive enough to sue for any trip. A very good app.

Excellent App. I downloaded this app and four other apps for planning and organising what to pack on a trip. This app was by far the best. It this app is well structured, straight forward and intuitive to use. It contains well grouped and comprehensive prepared suggested packing lists. The app enables you to easily select the lists that are relevant for your trip and then the specific items from those lists that you will need. The prepared lists have undoubtedly ensured I have remembered to pack things I would otherwise have forgotten. In addition to having the prepared lists available the app makes it very easy to add your own items to those lists. Since starting to use it I have had zero technical problems with it.

OK. It's a reasonable packing list, but you have to get rid of a lot of junk items.

Great new version & feature request. Excellent improvements in this new version. Someone has but a lot of thought into this upgrade. It is even more user friendly, and I love being able to assign items to "Storage Locations". I would love it even more if I could select a bunch of items and assign them to, say the suitcase all at once, instead of having to deal with them one by one. It is just a bit too tedious otherwise. But once all items are in their "bag" it is a breeze to actually pack everything. Very intuitive app. Thank you!

Great app for travelling. I find this app very useful to keep track of what we have stored in our caravan and what needs to be packed each trip. I can highly recommend it as its very user friendly

Not intuitive. Cannot work out how to add items to a list can only use what's there. No bulk remove have to swipe individually.

Bags all packed. Great app. Took a little bit to figure out how to customise with my own items and changing categories around. All sorted now and have different bags for overseas adventures, week getaways and sporting pursuits. A definite keeper.

Pack bag. Excellent use it a lot memory is not good very helpfull.

A Have to Have. This is the best App. It is entirely customisable and very easy to use. It allows you to list all the things you need to do before you go as well as list everything you want to take. To make it easy, you can set up master lists which you can then choose for the relevant occasion. I'm sold and have told all my friends.

What happened?. I had not used the app since running an update for it a while ago, but now find I have lost one of my lists and that the app is not nearly as easy to use. I used to love this app and be able to pack in an hour! I wish I didn't update.

Great App for Business Professionals. Makes it easy to track what you need for each business trip

I love it but..... This is the best packing app I have tried so far... the only thing missing is to be able to sync lists and items between devices using the same app. Please consider adding this!! It would make the app a perfect five star.

Ok, but needs to be updated. It is a good way to remember all of your packing items but needs to be updated for iOS 8.1.3

Easy to use. My iPad is always with me so by having the Pack The Bag App I can add to my packing list at any time. Used to have a list on an office computer that had to be printed each time. This saves paper and time.

Very Handy. Works well. Only thing I wished it has was iCloud support. There is Dropbox support but iCloud would be better. Quite flexible but some editing is not all that intuitive.

Awesome!. Looks great, works great, love it. At first it takes a while to choose what categories and items to include in the list (there are so many), but once it's done you can copy this exact list for future trips.

Pack Itself. I gave it a 4 star because the only thing this useful app doesn't do is pack your bag for you. It lists, it sorts, it reminds you and it's there for you when you need to repack for another journey. I highly recommend this app! Thank you!!

Great app ... But .... ... I'd love to see an option to easily (one tap) add new items to your current packing list. It takes way too many taps to add items. Also, sub-checks lists and the ability to star items would be helpful. These 3 changes would make this the perfect packing app!

Won't work. This application used to eork fine. Suddenly, after I select some bagage categories and click "continu", I receive the following message: "no bagage categories selected". I can't go any further??

Makes it so I don't forget anything. Also love that I create lists I can use over and over. LOVE this app. The only thing that would make it even better is being able to sync between devices. Good basic list u can add/subtract to. Good basic packing app. Could use a little work on ease of adding items to list with out having to touch multiple screens.

Too helpful. App was ridiculously helpful, only thing I suggest is being able to add descriptions to things like shorts or underwear etc so that you can explain what shorts (for example) you actually brought

Great app!. Everything is editable, it's not too tough once you get the hang of it... I created my owe "carry-on" category. But a cool new feature would be to add bags and have an option to assign items to bags.

Very Customizable. I love the pre-loaded categories and the ability to change/edit just about everything!! It is very user-friendly. The option to choose "multiples" of certain items is clever. Just forwarded this app to my whole family =)

Deleted - maybe paid version is better?. You can't change colors like they said. There was no menu option anywhere for that. I couldn't delete or edit the dates / times of the packing reminders. The categories seem helpful, but would be better if you could consolidate items after the list is constructed to put similar items together.

The Newest Version DOES NOT WORK!. After I updated to the newest version of this app, it does not let you continue after selection of either all or some of the Bag Categories. No matter you select what and how many categories, it just shows "No Bag Category is selected"! Bad thing is: I deleted the backup file of the older version, and it would not allow retroback to the older version either. If it continues doing it, I will have to delete this app permanently!

Great app. From a quick out-of-state weekend getaway to my son's ten day European trip, this app has served its purpose well. Items that we would not have expected to be on the lists were there. Very user friendly, very useful app.

Very helpful. I use this app to help me every time my family travels, even if for a weekend. It helps me remember all the important items and things to do and reduces my stress. I have a standard list that I can copy and alter each trip. I only gave it a 4 because I wish it was easier to turn on list items.

Extremely helpful. This is the best packing app that I have come across (I've tried at least 11 different ones). I paid .99¢ to remove the ads and have not experienced any problems with the app crashing. It works wonderfully. The only drawback for me is that it does not have iCloud support.

Travel App. Great app for packing and I love that you can set how many sets of things you need like 2 pairs of shoes or 5 shirts and it keeps track every time you clock on the check mark and tells you when have every item in that category

Love it. I always use this app when traveling because I never really know what to pack. The categories list so many items that are useful and unthought of

Good App. I have used the app twice for two different trips. It does a good job with the preselected categories and items but the best part is being able to add categories and items. My only complain is putting in say 5 Shoes isn't as easy as it should be.

Well made app. This is the only packing app I've used, I haven't found it lacking. It has good lists and is completely customizable. You can set reminders to pack, and there's a checklist for before you leave. You'll love it.

Pack this again. Packing again! I love the saved lists plus ability to update. Maybe forget it once but not twice. Easy to specialize. We have a lot of medical equipment. Make a list to pack the whole family. Get the thinking done when you are not stressed or rushed. How great.

Amaaaaazing!!. I'm the type of person who overpacks and forgets everything, so when I went to NY for a weekend with only a carryon I didn't think I could fit everything but with this app I was able to get organized and I didn't have to overpack or forget anything.

Excellent packing app. This app is just what I needed for packing for all kinds of trips - customizable lists remind you of every possible thing you might need and you can save lists to use again. Perfect!

I've tried them all. I've tried them all and decided this packing list app is best. Flexible, yet has a good easy to figure out structure. I save regular trips for reuse. Handy, user friendly, organized well. Wouldn't think of taking a trip without it. Thanks!

Indispensable!. Just started using this, but has made packing less of a chore. No longer afraid I'm going to forget something because I always leave packing until the last minute.

Solved my problem!. Inevitably, I always forget a thing or two...or ten when traveling! Not with this great app though. It works great and the lists even remind me of things I didn't even think about packing. Love it!

Great app. Great app that allows you to plan what to take on a trip and check it off when you pack it. Also helps you remember what you took with you so that you can double check that you have everything when it is time to return home.

Great App & easy to use!. Love it! It is exactly was I was looking for...my only complain is it take a little to get use to the category under each group etc. I love that you could make different list for a category & then able to combine them with different trip!

Good for family trip. I got my teenagers to download this for our family vacation. We leave tomorrow and if they forget something it's because they didn't use the ap. I myself won't be having that problem.

Pack the Bag Review. The app was helpful. I wish that it was easier to find out how to add or delete something from your list. I wound up by creating a new list which I didn't want to do. Otherwise it is useful to keep track of things.

Great. I'm very forgetful so this helps me keep track of exactly what I need to pack. There's nothing like being hundreds of miles from home and realizing you have the wrong item of clothing or forgot to pack a specific medication.

Reliable!!. Used this app for two previous trips within the last couple of years. It's better than a pen and paper. I always seem to lose those when I need them the most, especially when I'm packing to go home and don't want to forget anything.

Love it. I love this program. It's very easy to use and customize to meet your travel needs. The preloaded categories and items are a great starting point, but you have the flexibility to add your own categories and items as needed.

Use it all the time. The only feature I wish it had is to be able to move items to a different category instead of just deleting them

Great free app!. Nice UI, good pre-set categories, and easy to edit items! Tried many free or lower cost packing apps, but this was the best! Free app has a small ad, but I upgraded for 0.99 which was a good price. Would also suggest allowing synchronization between devices, and ability to display a note. (I added a hotel confirmation number in the note field). Other than that, works great!

Less worrying at the airport. Often when I leave home I worry about things I may have forgotten. I felt really confident about my list for my trip across country after using this app to make and check off my list.

I Luv this app!!!. When I pack I always forget what I need to pack so I put it on paper and then I lose it lol so I tried to find an app and I found this it has been a life saver this summer I don't have to worry about forgetting things!!!!!!!!! :)

The older version is better. I used to like this app a lot, very useful when I am preparing for a trip. After the recent updates I am no longer a big fan of this app, less intuitive and not as straight forward as it used to be. I wish I can old version back.

Met the need but confusing to set up. Great idea for various trips, however when i added to the base list, it would move the item to a different list. Don't wait till the last minute before you go away to use this.... You will be frustrated. Corkscrew was not listed as a basic vacation item, not a big deal, but just giving an example.

Great, functional app. This app is easy to use and does what it says. It helps keep me organized. I have been using the free app for years-the ads don't bother me. I am going to upgrade to support the developer. I have never had any issues with the app and I like the latest upgrade. Excellent app.

Great until it started crashing. I have been using this app for several years and depend on it for my travel lists. I have several lists built. Now it crashes saying that "no baggage categories have been selected " Deleted and reloaded and lost all my lists and it still will not let me create a new list with the same message. Not dependable. I'm done with it.

Different categories allow better planning. This app has a list of categories from which to choose for your trip. Those work well as reminders. E.g.: category "Baby" has "formula" on the list. You may also add items that are not originally on the list.

Solid App. After a short time getting used to the app it now does a great job keeping me organized during travel. It would be nice f there was a simpler way to quickly add an item to a current packing list quickly.

Does a hard job well, just not easily. You can make it work just the way you want it to, but if requires patience & persistence. Pretty buggy; glitches out fairly often, but with no consequence; just restart. Not very intuitive, but holds a lot of info. & you can make it work.

Very Helpful App. I finds this app very useful. It is more convent than paper and pen and allows you to check that you have everything before your leave on your vacation and before returning home. The only thing missing is I would love a place for notes for multi items such as shirts so that I can list the specific shirts I plan to pack.

Frees Up Brain for Other Activities. Love this app! Currently have lists for 6 upcoming trips going. All separate and distinctly different. Why walk around with details of things you hope to remember to bring in your head?

Very helpful. I love any app that lets me make lists and plan, and this one does the hard part for me! Everything you could think of is there, you just have to add it to your list! The only thing is, I can't figure out how to change the color scheme...haha, really not that important, I just hate lime green.

Very useful for business trips. I found Pack the Bag very handy in that it allowed me to create my lists at leisure. A few more basic templates for different trip types would help. I also found the procedure for adding something to a category to be confusing. But overall, a very useful app.

The best. I have tried several apps before and this one is the best! Several categories and lots of items preinstalled and you can add new ones :)

Great App for keeping organized!. I love using my iPhone to help me keep organized and this app really helps with that! Great way to make sure you don't forget anything. And by having the themed trips, like camping or beach, it populated items that you might not have thought of on your own! Great app!

Good start. This is a good app. However, it needs the ability to be able to add the quantity of the item; such as 5 shirts, etc. I look forward to future upgrades. The app takes some getting used to, lots of clicks to get to where you want and have to remember how to get there...

Love it and want more. Great app for packing. I have had countless excel spreadsheets and am working towards giving them all up and going to this. Is there a desktop version. Also would love to be able to edit some of the apps items rather than delete and write my own.

Perfect for a free App. This App is perfect in organizing your stuff for a trip. It is easily customizable and coves almost all the basics. It's simple and easy to use, but you will need to put some effort in advance of your trip. So if you'r looking for something free to help you in remembering what you need and want for a trip, look no further. Happy traveling :)

Got stuck. The app got stuck after I deleted one of my packing lists. Now it won't leave the Delete Packing List menu! Each of my remaining packing lists has a red circle on the left side, and it will not go away.... Please please please fix!!! I had all my lists ready to go and now I can't access them!

Pack the Bag. A very useful app. I now use it every time I travel. In company with others, however, I find it hard to remember how to add or delete items - it's not self-evident - so it all takes a bit longer to organize than it should ideally.

Won't stop crashing. I've been using this app for a few years and have never had any problems before. I've tried using it several times over the past few days to make lists for some upcoming trips and it instantly crashes every time. I can barely click the plus to add a new list before it crashes. Please fix this problem because I love using this app!

Love it!. This app has saved me so much time! I am able to start planning way in advance of a trip and add to the list as I remember things. When it is time to start packing, it takes a fraction of the time because I can just breeze through the list. Nothing gets forgotten, now!

Good App. I am a list maker and often travel. This has helped me organize my thoughts and lists and help remind me which things I need on that list from one trip to the next. I definitely don't want to go back to the old way of doing this. I am now spoiled with the help of this app.
