Avg Speed. Would be nice if average speed were presented with a decimal place, i.e. 14.2 mph instead of just 14.

SpeedTracker. It Always WORKS, and I’ve used it on My 3 &4 Wheelers, Go Karts, Dirt Bikes & Street Bikes and All My Cars and Trucks. I’m Very Pleased !

Awful. GPS couldn’t even keep track of 2/3 of most of my trips

Puddle the Duck. Well i really like the layout. It is fun to use. How ever i am puzzled when it comes to the graph. I know one axes shows speed, what is the other. It has to be distance, but what kind of distance, feet miles inches what ? Tracking went great this last 3 hour run. The run before this it quit 3/4 the way down. Don't know why. I did place a call while it was suppose to run in the back ground. It stopped tracking. On to other things. The heads up displayed is really cool and works well. I would like to suggest making some of the other screens heads up also. The data window for one. The map would be good if had a night screen and put put on heads up. The speedometer worked real well. I like the range markers. The speed and the odometer together the heads up I am going to keep playing it. It is at three stars at this point. It will be a five plus once they update with changes. The program is running on a i- phone 4s. You have a good app here. Kick out the bugs and it will be great.

Garbage. I sent an email to the support site. NOTHING BACK! I use this app for work, well I was going to. It stops tracking about 5 minutes after starting. It's definitely NOT worth the $3.99 I paid for it and I want a refund. DONT BUY! TOTAL WASTE.

No activity. Just rode 26mi w/o any response from the speedo and only recorded 4mi for the trip. Had these problems years ago, but now looks like they’re back. 😢

Speedometer. Works great dead on use this to track the speed of my rc cars

Good for tracking but poor export performance. One of the reasons I purchased this app was to save trip information that I could export to spreadsheets but every time try export the app crashes and closes

Super crappy. App shuts down constantly and no response asking for help. Hello anyone home? Support is non existent for this app They also charged me twice for the same app. Nice people these are. Not worth a dollar let alone eight dollars.

So awesome.. I use it on my bike to track how far I ride. Works great.

Possibly the Best GPS Trip Recorder. The Title says it all. A must for anyone on the road long-distance or local. If you need to record trips, this has all the tools. Extremely accurate and easy to export data. Probably best run with extended battery or plugged in; as it appears to drain battery when running in background. I am still testing it and will follow up my review in the near future. Other reviews have point to some weaknesses, I will review them and report back on them. This App warrants a try.

Super easy. This is by far the easiest GPS tracking app I've used! Just wish they would incorporate a track feature for circuit racing with lean angle detection.

Would've been a great review. This app works great on my iPad, but doesn't work that well on my iPhone. If it would've worked as well on the phone it would've been five star review.

One of the better trip apps, but displays aren’t sized right for iPhone CR - Bummer!. Love the features. Upgraded from iPhone 6 to iPhone XR and as with a few other apps the displays are off. Can’t scroll up or down to see the missing parts. Bummer!

Fantastic - couple of requests tho!. I love this app. I’m not sure there are others that do what this does while looking this good. And I love the watch app! Performance is much better than it used to be. A couple of requests: the analog scale jumps between 0-120 and 0-240… which is Honda to Bugatti… we really need a 0-180. Secondly, just a notes field would be great!

Error. Why my app not work ???? Check it nơ pls!!!!

Inconsistent. I tested this and on a 5 km ride it stored all my speeds as 0.5 km/h even though the distance appeared to be calculated okay. Really shoddy programming if even this basic stuff doesn’t work properly.

Speed Tracker. I love this app. Speedo is Awesomely easy to read love the layout. The options of top speed is very nice. The map is a quick way to find yourself. No pun intended. The option for google map or apple is nice. Apple seems to have a much better quality and lets you get a very HQ close view of where you are very important the speedo is right on accurate with fast update. It goes right up and down with your speed. I have other speedos but not anymore this is the only one ill use now. And i've switched from google to apple map. Oh it also has a great tracker for trip. Average everything built in. It will also give you ADDRESSES where you are instead of just Alt and long. Really is awesome. And the odometer is accurate to. Checked it mile to mile marker on the highway. Thank you and you're welcomer. LOL.

Not that good. The whole reason I bought this app was to test my speed on the Japanese bullet train. I have been on the train for over 55 minutes and it still cannot keep up. I allowed the app permission to use my gps. It shows my location on the app, so it is reading my location. Just cannot give me speed, which is the whole reason I paid for it. Is a waste of money.

MajorPhartz. Won’t work on NEW iPad Pro 11... Won’t even load up. Says something about “features on this app wont work on this device”!!! What’s up?

Recent bug. Generally speaking, speed tracker has been a wonderful app. Only recently the scaling of the display has changed and doesn’t quite fit on my iPhone 8. This is highly disappointing. Noticing that I was using SpeedTracker lite. I opted for SpeedTracker pro. My light version had all the features paid for essentially giving me all the features I now have with pro only they took my money again for the pro version with the eight identical the same scaling problem.

Great for Postal Worker. People love to lie and say you drive to fast. This is a great way to keep you honest and to haveproof you are not speeding.

Can't type in navigation. Can't type in a location in navigation. Cant turn into HUD which is why I wanted the app. Will not recommend not what it says it is.

Chews up data. Good app but I cant believe the amount of data it uses when you are tracking your trip. A twenty minute trip used 2% of data. I would consider that a lot for such a short amount of time.

Beautifully designed, easy intuitive interface.. I have tried several GPS Speed / Tracking related applications and Speed Tracker is one of the best. It has a very easy to use and understand interface with advanced features when reviewing where you have gone and where to go on your next ride.

Disappointed. I bought this for my Apple Watch because I like tracking my speed on runs but after paying the 4 dollars the app doesn’t even show up available for the Apple Watch.

Just what I needed. Just what I needed in a speedometer app for the right price. It records a log of my speed through the journey displayed as a graph, and a map of the route I took. It’s not like google maps that is always running and recording a vague estimate of your route; you have to remember to turn this app on and start tracking when you get in your car, but it does run in the background once it starts. I recommend this app, it works well. I bought this app after being pulled over for speeding, running this app will probably have a preventative effect for getting pulled over again, but if the police get the wrong car I’ll have proof this time.

No odometer. Everything works except the odometer. I don’t know the distance I’m going and I used to. What happened?

Could do better!!. Good app, but not useful for detail travel time analysis. The downloaded data does not output the time down to seconds, only hour and minutes, hence a lot of detail missed!!

Awesome features, inaccurate data. All the features of this app are really great and pretty much record all the data you would need for road trips, etc. I also love the interface, design, and functionality of everything especially the map feature which allows you to see your change in speed through your trip. That said, the actual speed measurement is incredibly unreliable. With cruise control set below 80 the app was reading anywhere from 65mph to over 95, also telling me that I had reached a max speed of over 130mph during my trip. Other free gps apps have much more accurate speed measurements. Bottom line: if it was free I would recommend it but I don't think it's worth buying.

So far. So good. Kinda ticks me off that they keeep asking me to rate this app every time I turn it on. Like dude, I payed $3.99 for this app AND I have to use data? Let me alone and quit asking me to rate your app. But yeah other than that it's ok.

Crash all the time. Doesn’t work with iOS 15, always crash

Terrible. Speed is not even close to being accurate. Speed was from 5-25 miles per hour different then the actual vehicle speed. What a waste of four dollars do not recommend

Almost perfect ... but. Works as advertised, but for it to be perfect (for me) it needs two things. 1. The digital speed readout changes too frequently. I don't care about tenth of a mile per hour, so an option to show only whole numbers of miles per hour would be great. 2.id like to have a view with a large digital readout of the current speed (in whole numbers) similar to the HUD mode, but for regular use (I.e. With the text the correct way round). My primary use case is on a motorcycle, and I want to be able to quickly glance at a large whole number representation of my current speed. This is because speedos on bikes don't tend to that accurate, but GPS is very accurate.

No update for iPhone X. No optimization for iPhone X, recently updated and nothing for the new iPhone.

Wow! Just when you thought it couldn't get any better.... Wow! Just when you thought it couldn't get any better an App like this comes alongs and blows everything out of the water! Simply amazing! I love useful Apps that have a real purpose. This app is so easy to use! I love the "Heads Up Display". What a trip! I take different short cuts during rush hour to beat traffic. It's a great way to compare distance/time travelled between routes. This is an ingenious App that is sure to get a lot of attention. it's worth way more than the offered price. The updates are excellent! Great Job!

Nice app. Very useful and accurate

Syncing error. "Syncing. You'll be able to see the details of this Route when it is downloaded from iCloud. Please wait until this Route is fully synced." I can't access any of my older routes because of this. Even a month after I've waited for it to sync.

Good Idea but Work in Progress. The underlying idea is commendable but the product is still work in progress. Specifically, the tracking is usually delayed and remains at 0 mph for a few seconds even as the vehicle accelerates. Another major shortcoming is the exaggerated maximum speed. I was shocked to read a maximum speed of 93 mph when I never exceeded the posted speed limit of 55 mph. Overall, I give the effort 3 stars. If the aforementioned problems are corrected and the standard deviation speed and number of data (n) are added to the statistics, then the device can deservingly earn a 4.5 stars or 5.0 stars!

Great Snowmobile App!. I love this app. I track all my rides with it and it gives data on how long your trip was, how much time you spent moving, and how much time you spent not moving. It also keeps track of your top speed and average speed. I have a loop I like to do every couple of days because it's a very fast loop and it's fun to try to beat my average speed for the loop. Last but not least - my favorite part is that it shows you on a map where you went while it was tracking. This is very cool to screen shot and text/email to buddies that also ride.

Great if your into self quantification.. I am definitely one of those self quantification guys. I like to keep track of my miles per gallon in the car and on the bike, my average resting heart rate,my average time asleep, all of that. For me, this is a great application for tracking my commute to work and back. Provides a ton of stats and even though I really don't use the speedometer function (main selling point) it's handy if you want to compare your vehicles rate of speed with the GPS in your phone. Only downside I can think of is its a little on the pricy side for an iPhone app. .99 or even 1.99 would make this a sweet deal for most folks.

Perfect app, but question on feature. This is a perfect app, but I have a question on a previous feature, though. In the past, when you had the analog speedometer up, it still had the digital meter in the center. Will this possibly ever come back? I really liked it when you could see both where you could see on the gauge, but it also registered the speed digitally in the lower middle of it. It had the speed measured to one decimal place. I would love to see this option come back.

Stopped Working. Has been good for a long time but has recently started to crash on loading.

Functions lost with updates.. I used to be able to set a maximum for the speedometer, that appears to be gone.

Works great!. I own an old VW bus with an inaccurate speedometer. This app does the job and works great. Only feature that I would like to have to make it better, is the ability to display the app on an a car play stereo with touch screen ability.

I sure hope I missed a setting. I purchased this app to use with my electric bike. The interface looks nice and works well while riding, but after every trip the odometer resets back to zero. What is the point of having an odometer if it only lasts one trip and then starts at zero again? How will I ever know how many miles I put on my bike?!? I emailed the app developer. I hope they get back to me with an answer. I hope I’m just missing a setting, otherwise, I am not happy with this purchase.

Great App. Great App! Does all the things it suppose too, good layout. I like the map feature.

Speed Tracker. Great app!, used this on flights in flight mode, window seat and in sight with satellite. Have some upgrade ideas. 1. Allow for a mix of imperial and metric / knots. International standard for aviation is altitude measured in feet and speed in knots. 2. Allow the ability to edit the saved file. To shorten of delete the off line breaks 3. Change the compass to an actual compass heading rather than the general direction. Cheers great app though

Speed Tracker. Logging makes it very usable to argue a speeding ticket in court. The police have one point of reference to determine your vehicles speed, GPS gives you three points of reference. Love it. Unlike one previous review I believe the log should NOT be able to be edited. Therefore giving the app more credibility in court.

Speed Tracker. Great App, very accurate.. Love to see a speed warning alert when you go over a certain speed. Also the 100Kph highlighted in a bigger format as most road speeds in Australia are 100k's Thanks..

It's good. It's really good but when you use the other stuff like maps, settings, HUD and the trip. It doesn't line up when it changes please fix this. Then it will be worth 5 stars

Disappointing junk. The large speedo display, which was the primary reason for buying this app, is upside down and backwards. I want a refund NOW!!! I just downloaded the app update and the HUD display is still upside down and backwards. I also emailed the developer and received no reply. Do not buy this app.

Great App Best for Speed Monitoring. I use this all the time on my motorbike touring trips. Heaps of data is collected and analysed. Great app. Only comment about the app is that the iCloud sync doesn’t work and when in horizontal mode the odometer disappears from the screen. I’ve emailed the developer. Hopefully they can look at these things.

Excellent app. Works well but has horrible bugs since the last upgrade. If application is closed off completely. it doesn't remember the last trip and resets trip to zero, whereas it never used to.. Please bring back the old version, it was just as good looking but more dependable

Crashes with iOS9. Used to use this App a lot, really liked it but since the last major iOS update it crashes as soon as it opens, sad to see, come on people please fix.

Excellent. I recommend this app easy to use and the HUD is excellent. Track you whereabouts, it's worth the money !!!

Needs a few updates. For the price I paid, I would need to see a few feature updates before I give 5 stars. For example - - A condensed version of the data taken. Currently, all I need is the start and stop points, this logs too much data. - The ability to name the start and stop points, and possibly remember the points. - Ability to have the purpose of trip included in log (work, business, pleasure). - have all trips condensed into one spreadsheet file, so I can use the data as a log book (for tax time). - total Km's driven for the year/month/weeks. - the interface needs some work, not very intuitive.

Works for me. I've used this app on 4s, 5, and 6+, and it has worked fine for me.

Stability problems. If i didn't pay for it i would have deleted it by now. Crashes alot, not all the time though. When in map mode the Satellite view doesn't work at all. And if the phone or pad goes into lock, you will end up with a straight line from the point of lock till the point of unlock. Not a happy customer

Best and most reliable. Tried several to find this was best and most responsive ! Others I’d travel at known 15kmph and didn’t change ! Over said doing 5kmph and phone was sitting on the table

Good features but peak inaccurate. The feature set is great for reviewing performance in Motorsport such as stage rallies. But the max speed value is simply wrong, being much too high. If that could be fixed it would be invaluable. Perhaps using input from the accelerometer could be used to correct obvious errors in the calculation based on gps.

Great Potential. This is going to be great to use to log and record different road trips. Hoping it will soon have further customization to remember default startup settings (map view, trip view etc) along with iOS shortcut support (start log, stop log etc)

Doesn’t work .... On the iPhone X. Sent email to app developer but no response. Can’t find GPS so it’s absolutely useless unless upgrade to iPhone X

Disappointin. Cannot get it to work on bullet train in Japan. Feel rather ripped off by the purchase. My apologies, Have now ggot it working through Settings/privacy/tracking It works fine Doing 250Kmh it does what it says it will. :)

Buy it!. This is by far the most used app on my phone - and the only navaid I use. Absolutely the best application in its category. You won't regret buying this. Ps I never drive without it.

Doesnt work. Its turned on. The map is okay and shows where am. I can turn the tracking on and off - the speedo function simply doesn't work. I purchased it and its worth nothing.

Dosnt work for me. It won’t save or calculate. I can not find the fault. I have paid for the upgraded version and the pro version, over $10 and it still didn’t work.

Speed tracker. Great app when it works..... Worked ok first tome after installation. Never works again, have to delete and reinstall then works ok only once. Delete reinstall not good.

tracker. When braking the HUD does reverse itself, most annoying, works great in all other modes

Good !!. The speed seems to be a little erratic lately. I've been using it for a while, so don't know what has changed, but it was ok before.. I wish there was an option for a large digital speed display as well as the analog clock... essentially this app does what it's supposed to do...

Brilliant. Brilliant app. Very handy for timing trips and the GPS speedo is most likely more accurate than the one in your vehicle.

Problem. App crashes when opening. Definitely a bug in the app. Hate it when you pay full price and nothing works.

Froze. First time I used it it froze. Unacceptable for a $5 app

Speetracker. Seule petite chose que je n'ai pas apprécié, c'est qu'il ne fait pas la navigation, on ne peut entrer une adresse pour qu'il nous dirige à l'endroit désiré, il enregistre les trajets mais quand tu n'a jamais été dans un endroit et que tu veux t'y rendre sans te perdre ce n'est pas vraiment pratique ! Mais malgré tout l'apps a des gadgets assez pratique pour la conduite de nuit !

It's working. Well I just purchased this app and it was flashing like crazy asking my use my current location but won't allow me to push the ok. So fix that please. Other than that it's good so far

Muy buena. La tengo desde hace tiempo y la he podido usar en varios viajes en tren de alta velocidad y en algún tour, me dio la información y seguridad.

Accurate but.... Crashes on startup. Screens don't scroll properly. Battery hog. When it works it's very accurate, and the information it provides is useful. If the developers could fix the above issues they would have a great app. I still use it despite its shortcomings, but a paid app shouldn't be so flawed IMHO.

Non-functional with iOS9. Have been happy with this product until I upgraded to iOS9 on my iPhone 5 and it shows startup screen then closes. Occasionally will work if I am out away from city but still not anywhere close to previous functionality.

Very useful for motorcycling, but.... The app crashes everytine I whip out my iPhone (4S) to take a picture. The annoying thing is, you dont realize it until you get home that the app crashed midway through the ride, and you've lost half the data you're supposed to have collected. I realized the crashes happened when I took pictures simply because the last data collected is always at the very spot I stopped to photograph something. Now that I know this, I simply have to re-launch the app again and it automatically resumes recording, fortunately. Very useful, if it could only be reliable...

Needs a major tweak. I need to open up maps to search addresses - this app either needs to have address searches and routing info built in or continue to track when I open up maps. Currently I lose my active trip currently. Kinda makes the app useless to me.

Useless app for me. Very deceiving as the App is billed as a GPS when in fact it's just a fancy speedometer with extras. I can imagine some people might have a use for it but in my case I was expecting a GPS with maps and all, I wasted 3.99 $ to find out it's useless to me...

Finally good HUD. This definitely is the best HUD for a pad out there. Very smooth in operation, large display, so it's easy to read even just at glance. Really good information available to you, like average speed and total stop time, so you can actually see how much time is waisted sitting at red lights (not as long as one might think :)) especially useful if you're trying to find a good routes around the city. Accuracy of the actual GPS is little off at times, chiefly at acceleration, it lags, but I'm pretty sure it's the pad's GPS unit itself and not the app. If you have a pad installed in your car, this is a very nice addition to your dash. To developers: little more options for GUI, maybe different skins and layouts, but overall good job, thanks :)

Was better. Since updating to IOS 7.0 on my iPhone, it no longer shows movements in colours ( green to yellow to red) in the map view... I no longer use it .

Amazing App!. App does everything it says and more. Is very reliable, doesn't crash, let's you store your driving history, and provides accurate and important data in a clear and concise way. Things to improve and/or include: speed can sometimes be off a little bit (up to 10k slow at high speeds), ability to add notes for your runs (things like the car you used, weather conditions, general notes, ect...), and it would be useful to have an elevation function. Highest and lowest elevation could be stated, and the elevation over the course of the drive could be graphed relative to the speed and distance in the graph function of the app. I am a car and racing enthusiast, and this app has become essential to my racing practises. I have tried out several other apps, and this one is my far the best. I highly recommend it for anybody that wants to log their driving stats.

Garbage. Used it for a year they have tried to fix it many times. Lasts a month or so and crash city is all it can do. So if you saved any trips you lose them when u reinstall it. Junk, garbage and crap size this app up adequately. But hey don't beleive. Load it up and pay and you will see.

Small display. Yes, this app works as advertised. No complaints there. However the display readout is too small. Don't know why it goes up to 160mph. I'd like to see it reduced to 120 or have the option. Also like to see the HUD display reversible so it can be used as primary speed readout. With those changes it would get 5 stars.

Hard to find flaw. Don't even mess with other GPS apps, this one is the best I've tried. The entire interface is so logical and intuitive I'd swear this was an Apple app. I was easily able to map a route and email the route. You'll love this app, just get it.

Almost there.. App icon has a notification badge that I can't figure out, 1- why its there, 2- how to get rid of it. (No Notifications option under Settings.) Doesn't seem to want to keep tracking in the background. If this app had a trip tracker function similar to RunKeeper, it would get 5 stars. Maybe in the future add support for OBD devices like the PLX Kiwi?

Excellent GPS speedometer. My motorcycle had a broke speedometer. I used several GPS based speedometers, but this one was far better than the others I tried. It is accurate and fast. Nice big display and the odometer is accurate. Very satisfied with this ap.

Functional but inaccurate. The app is highly functional for trip tracking, time, mileage, etc. However the actual speed monitoring/tracking appears to be inaccurate. I suppose it could be related to losing data coverage or inconsistent data ping cycles, but what I see on my motorcycle display and iPhone display are often wildly divergent.

I love this app!. This app is amazing for use as a trip tracker or as a speedometer if the one in your vehicle is broken. The detail in the trip tracker is spectacular. I would love to see gps guidance built in and this app would be the best app in the app store!

What a neat app!. There are so many great features here! I especially like the HUD feature. It seems quite accurate and it's fun to see all this data attached to my driving. Just remember to be safe while driving

Do Not Buy. I bought this App because I thought the features sounded decent. I have an i-phone 5 and wanted to put a GPS feature on it. The APP is worthless. First, the HUD feature only works when it is dark; second the speed tracker is so inaccurate - I was doing 60MPH and the speed tracker had me clocked at 114 MPH; lastly, the one feature I wanted, the GPS, I have yet to figure how to get it to work. Good thing I only spent $3.99 plus tax. Guess it is true, you get what you pay for.

Accurate. Been using this app for a few months now. I use it on my RC cars to get an estimated mph on them. The app is as accurate as it comes. I like the graph that it provides and the fact that I can save the session/trip. I also like the interface. I definitely recommend it.

Great app I use it for my speedometer. The speedometer on my electric car is not working, nothing to connect it to after the conversion. So I started to look for an app that I could use. This is one of many I tried. It has worked great for my needs. The only complaint I have is on initial acceleration it my jump up in its reading of how fast I am going. For example I may be accelerating from 0 to 25 mph but the app reads 50 mph for a brief few seconds. This only happens some times during normal use other than those instances, it works perfect.

Very accurate route tracking. I'm amazed at how accurately this app tracks location, it's great for distance traveled and avg. speed. Yeah, as a real time "speedometer" it skips around a bit, but come on, it's tracking you from a frickin' satellite in orbit! What do you expect from a 99 cent app? Great for biking, hiking, etc.

Stopping accuracy. This app is exactly what I need. I want to start it at the beginning of the day and stop it at the end and be able to see my total start and stop times. ONE BIG PROBLEM: when I'm stopped, it doesn't recognize that I'm stopped. Without this working correctly, it's useless and a waste of money for me. I have iPhone 5 with 6.1 so it's not my hardware/software. 2 stars for a good idea. I'll give you 3 more when you fix it.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!. $3.99?! If your going to sell an app, don't deceive your customers. Thinking I'm buying a premium app because I'm paying a premium price, HA! I'll think twice next time I do that. I had to download it twice just to get it to open up! Then once it did open within 5min the orientation got stuck in sideways mode with half the screen missing. And it kept wanting to freeze. I saw that and ran for the hills. It's now deleted from my phone.

Worked for Boat Trip. It did a great job tracking the movements of my boat for an afternoon. I could see every turn I made during the ride. Good data on speed and distance. Wish there was a sensitivity adjustment. Some of our time anchored counted as "moving time" because the boat isn't completely still.

F A N T A S T I C. This is a 5-star app! 2 suggestions that would be useful to me... 1) a small digital clock somewhere in the dead space (maybe under the odometer), and 2) the ability to keep the odometer data countinusly until it is manually reset. But again... a 5-star app! Thank you!

Wow!. How have I not bought this before? What a very cool app. It does so much and does it so well. The heads up display is just too cool. What a killer idea. And the trip logging is really well done. I don't normally pay for apps, but at 99¢ this is a must have. Thanks!

Awesome Travel App. Every aspect of this app is very good and well thought. If there was one addition I would make is to set up the travel plan. I would have several points like A to B to C to D with distance and time so that the driver will know how long it takes to arrive to the destination and then the next destination. I use this for every time I travel within the state and outside.

Crashes. This is a decent app when it works. I'm using version 5.0.6 which crashes on occasion. I've cleared other programs and restarted the iPad to no avail. This afternoon I was using to measure a 20 miles trip and it crashed again. I like the usability of the programming but wouldn't recommend it if you are relying on it to collect data on trips.

Awesome app. Keeps track of everything!. I thought it was just going to keep track of my speed but to my surprise it maps your entire trip to and shows you every turn on the map very accurate

Does not work. Garbage. Waste of money.. App shuts itself off randomly. Has some great features, but they don't work. Have on both iPad and iPhone, neither will stay running in the background. Wanted to keep record of areas traveled by motorcycle. Kept power hooked up, would run for ten mins the shut down. Next time run four mins, shut down. Once ran for 22 mins before shutting down. Got good data from that run, but shut down before trip was over, incomplete. Turned off auto-lock, made no difference. Any tips, suggestions, what else to do? Great idea, FAIL in execution of idea.

Erratic Speed Indication. When using this application in my car, on my boat, and even on my lawnmower, it provides extremely erratic speeds. In my car at 80 mph indicated, the application shows speeds bouncing all over the place, with reading as low as 10-15 mph bouncing as high as 100+ mph. THis is all with a very good cphone connection - an urban interstate highway. On my boat at a steady 6 mph (by Garmin GPS chart-plotter), the application bounced between 1 and 64 mph. The numeical display is never steady enough to really read, and the needle display just jumps all over. there is no way to tell how fast you are really going with this application. This was not a well-spent 99 cents. If I an doing something wrong, please someone tell me.

Buzz kill. I really like this app, I used it almost everyday.....now that I updated my iPhone it no longer works! Major buzz kill! Update, I sent an email to the company about the problem. A few days later they sent me a reply on how to fix the problem. So far the app is back up and running with problems.

JUNK!. This does not work! Any other speedometer app, when I turn to on, it pops up, and in a few short seconds, it tells me how fast I'm going. This one wants me to rate it. Then after I cancel out that nonsense, it still stays on 0, for 10 - 20 miles, as long as I leave it on. Turn on the other one, 3 seconds, it's reading the speed! When I'm running 85 mph down the interstate, I don't have time to rate an app, (yes, I live in Texas, we have 85 mph speed limits here) and I don't have time for an app that doesn't function! This one was a waste of money!

Could be a really good app. The speedometer works fine and the HUD. It's so close to being a really good app. However, once I change to Landscape mode it won't change back to portrait mode. Also, the link to the tutorial video does not work (I've tried several times on my iPad). It has crashed a couple of times also. And the car icon on the map only points up when in landscape mode. Before you start charging for this app please make sure that these items are at least taken care of or the negative feedback will increase.

View ALL Trips. Love this app so far. One improvement I'd love to see is an ability to view ALL my past trips on a single map rather than having to go through them one by one. It would be really neat to see everywhere I've driven in the past year. Even if I had to upload the data to a computer or website it would be worth it. Add this functionality for 5 stars.

Working good!. It seems they fixed the bugs and now the app. is working correctly for me. A lot of useful functions and great design make it the better app in this niche for only 2 bucks. Must have!

Pretty neat. Would like to see a choice of map-tracking icons in addition to the blue car. Perhaps a person or a bicycle for the slow scale speedo, etc. I tried the HUD last night in the car (phone version) which is nifty; no need to take eyes away from the car's windscreen. An option to turn the screen off while tracking would save battery life. Great start, AppAnnex.

Didn't do what it said. I bought this to log my bike trips, I bike around the perimeter of my hometown lakes and do some side paths on the way. I wanted to know my speed and distance travelled. However, when I went off the main road, it stopped tracking. So my trip record shows a 7 min stop in the middle of my ride, dropping my average mph way down as well. I could do the math if I knew how long the paths were or an accurate average mph, but I don't have an accurate tally of either.

Excellent!. Love the ability to switch the scale! I use this in the car and for bike trips, better functionality than any others I've tried. Much more user friendly while maintaining a lot of data tracking!

Mileage Is Not Entirely Accurate. The app in general works as advertised however, I ran a test by driving to work. I am certain that my work is 26 miles from my house. The app added approximately 1.5 miles to what my vehicles odometer states. I thought it may be a fluke but the app did the same thing on the return trip. We have two vehicles so I know the distance is correct (give or take 1 to 2 tenths of a mile). I understand that using GPS is going to be approximate but 1.5 miles difference is big. Other than the mileage difference, the app works great. Nice layout and the display is awesome. We are going on a 800 trip from Denver to Utah this weekend so I will definitely give it a thorough test.

Works Well. Recently downloaded the app while riding a high speed train from NY to Boston. I wanted to know how fast the train was going. It worked really well. The live tracking on real maps on Hybrid view was a real fun bonus. I could see what I was going to see in advance. Worth every penny. BTW the train was going 125 MPH.

Nice ripoff. App never even opened. White collar criminals should be publicly cained. These other reviews clearly come from this chumps accomplices. All should be escorted off the edge of the planet, given one glow stick and a pack of tic tac's and told to head towards planet FU. Peace on earth can then return to it's green/gray alien uninhabited state of happiness. Just saying...if you chimpanzee's see me in the street...head in the other direction, otherwise hopefully you packed a lunch...cause it's gonna be a long day for you! Love you! Can't wait to meet you!!

Could be better. I really only have two complaints. First is the map is useless to me. Its orientation is locked to north and south. So if your driving west and look at your phone, its going left. How about an option for a forward view? My second complaint was it kept crashing but so far its been stable since the last update.

I was duped. I bought the pay version and just very disappointed. For starters the app does not accurately track quick accelerations and then the top speeds that are not held for long often do not register. I then ran it side by side in my M5 with the BMW lap timer and the accuracy of the speed tracker was nowhere close to the BMW app. Save your money! I can only gather that those impressed with this app are those who drive around like my grandmother.

Needs an Update. After a month of use I'm changing my review and dropping a star. Lack of iPhone 5 optimization (runs in letterbox) and buggy vehicle icon are the reason for my downgrade. The vehicle icon should be changeable to a dot or arrow. The little blue car looks kind of goofy. I also have issues where the car will always point North instead of turning on roads. It requires you to exit the program and relaunch or reboot to clear it. Another feature that would be useful would be to remember the zoom level and last location on the map. If you leave the map screen for any reason, it zooms all the way out and you have to zoom and recenter it manually. Not too easy at 65 mph, in traffic. The speed indicator could also be a bit larger... Very small font hard to see in map mode. All in all a good app but I'll probably look for another that has more of the features I want and performance that it should have.

Gotten much better. 1st purchased this 3 yrs ago on a trip from San Diego to Philadelphia. Worked pretty good the first day, then crashed! Couldn't do anything with it! Trashed it and reloaded it a couple times and now it's working fine. Speedometer is accurate enough as we were coming back thru New Mexico my son got his new Camaro to 150mph on a short stretch of interstate and the two speeds matched! Dislike that on a straight shot it will show time stopped despite always moving. Dislike that the maps take forever, if ever, to load! This should work well on my amped up 70 El Camino with a built 454ci. Speedo stopped working sometime last century! Update !! El Camino is now the HELLCAMINO!! Bored and stoked to 502ci about somewhere in the range of 600hp with nutritional supplements of 400 hp and this this is accurate in the total

Not bad. Apparently the developer must have listened to feedback and removed the pestering message to rate the app that would come up at launch time. That’s 100% unacceptable in any app, and why I previously rated it one star. It no longer does this, and now works extremely well. It’s very accurate and the features set is excellent. The only thing it still needs is a Speed Sensitive Volume function so that I can set my iPhone to deliver different volume levels based on my current speed, that would make it perfect.

Works Great!. Just started using it with my LSV golf cart to check speed and it’s amazingly accurate. I also used it with my car to verify accuracy. My golf cart goes faster than I realized when I’m on the road and this is good to have to watch my speed when I am on the golf cart paths. Simple to use!

Horrible. Don't waste money. Cruise control. 55. App Showing 70 mph, then 50 then 57 then back to 40! Then back up to 60s. Inaccurate and a waste of a dollar. It's so inaccurate that I don't even want to deal with the developer on troubleshooting. I regret this purchase as much as I regret those tequila shots at the bar 5 years ago....let's just say never again. Ps. Phone on the patio outside(no movement that I was aware of) showing 3-10mph. Seriously? It's laying on a flat surface.

Dissappointed but have not given up yet. I wanted a simple speed pgm to measure my golf cart speed. Downloaded the "free" version. Started driving, would not work without buying something. Good old bait and switch. Paid $4.99 for full version. It shows a lot of potential, but after 1 hour, never got it to work! Simple things, like changing from km/hr to mph not explained! So far, USELESS! Have not contacted them yet, ran out of time. Should not be this hard!

Better than expected. I purchased a few of these GPS based speedometer apps and this one is by far the best. I have tested it in my car for accuracy and I was impressed. Obviously the speedometer is slightly laggy, but that was to be expected. The map aspect is perfect, the trip log is an awesome feature that works very well and the overall ease of use and aesthetics are very pleasing. Highly recommend.

Excellent App!!!. I drive a lot and have been wanting an app that logged travel time, stopped time, speed, altitude and so forth. This app does it all. It has become one of my favorites. Even works when I take a walk.

Great App. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see how fast they are going for any situation. It is very accurate but can bug on corners because of calculations that have to be made to figure your speed.

Really Great + One Request. Excellent UI would benefit from a way to set the dial for an upper speed limit, say 3-4 MPH over the posted speed and have it pleasantly beep and/or flash when you exceed it. You could manually enter geolocated speed limits for routes you travel often, and then be tipped off when you enter radar trap territory. Car makers are in the pocket of revenue-augmenting-local-govt. Don't hold your breath for them to offer a ticket-dodging feature. Would turn radar detectors into Palm Pilots!

Used to be good.. This app was great on the iPhone 4, but since upgrading to the 4S, it's useless. Speed jumps all over the place, as does the direction. Other GPS apps work just fine with the 4S, so it's an issue with this app. Spend your money elsewhere or wait for a fix. Update: 2.0.2 fixes none of the issues I noted with 2.0. Speed still jumps all over the place, even with full GPS signal. Direction rotates around like a spinning top, despite the Apple compass app showing a stable, steady direction. I'm going back to an app that works.

Highly Functional. This provides me a more accurate speed of my motorcycle than my speedometer does. I also ride my motorcycle in support of many charitable events & this allows me to keep track of mileage for tax purposes! Great little App!

As Good As Apps Get. It's maybe not everything I wanted, but it IS more than I knew I could have from an app. And you know, we app users can be real pompous pouting punks when it comes to app satisfaction. I'm no developer, but I get the massive challenge it must be to create and maintain one as lovely as Speed Tracker. 5-Stars, ladies & gentlemen. And a virtual Hi-5 to go with it. ✋!

Not to shabby. I have not used this app to its fullest extent yet but I had put it in my rc car and after I figured out how to use the app it worked great. I recommend this app to anyone. It's a little confusing at first but once you figure everything out and get the hang of it, it works great. I love it.

great app!. Recently got burned by an app..."where have i been?"... the app is supposed to track you...anyhow bought this app with some loss of faith in the app system and this one is stellar!! Averages ans graphs tour speed, you can watch tourself on a map and i leanred things about my area! Great app!
