Crashes / does not work. After a certain iOS update, this app no longer works. I haven't been able to use it for months. As soon as I open Fun Wedding, it immediately crashes and shuts down. I also agree with the other reviewer that current hits take a long time to show up on their charts. I believe this is because the data spans a 12 month period. It would be great if they had a separate chart just showing requests compiled over the past 4-5 weeks.

Posey DJ and Karaoke Service. Extremely helpful in recalling music of different decades. It makes my job much easier.

Decent needs updating. Super helpful app but it doesn’t seem to have updated songs in a while or I’m just surprised that something like Bruno Mars only hit I see in 2020 is still Uptown Funk. Am I missing something? I have the internet connection so it should update or does it actually need WiFi vs the data plan?

Hasn’t been an update. Wondering if you plan on updating your music lists? It would be nice since I haven’t seen an update in two years. Otherwise helpful.

Really cool!. I love this app! If you're planning a wedding it truly can't be beat for helping you choose music for all your formal events. Great list of "most requested" songs for open dancing. Well worth $.99!

DJ with 35 years.. I really love the helpful lists this app provides, but the only negative is that it requires a live internet connection just to open. I would love a way to cash the list in my device so if there is no internet available,it will bring up the last viewed list. I had a wedding just last night where I had no internet or phone service. Also my iPad is being used as a lightning controller so it is on a closed network with no internet access anyway. So that makes the app unusable. I understand it's just an up to date music listing app. It wasn't intended to be a highly integrated app for every device, but just being able to have a choice to access the last used list the device accessed would be highly recommended.

Does what it says on the box. App works great but has an occasional crash. Don't understand the poor reviews because this is just a reference tool not a full-fledged DJ app. Use it as a tool with your clients and when you need ideas at the party. FEATURE REQUEST: PLEASE ADD BPM TO THE SONG INFO. Would be great when wanting to beat match tracks you aren't totally familiar with and referencing the charts at the gig. SOLID APP.

Latest Update doesn't work. I can't even see anything. It says "No results" for every categories and a pop up error screen comes up stating "Error Processing Data".

Awesome resource, until you try to access the favorites you spent 2 hours adding. App crashes whenever the favorites tab is tapped, locking you out of accessing all the work you put into it. Tried closing via multitasking panel and force quitting with no luck. PLEASE resolve via update and get 5 stars.

My clients love it. I am a professional DJ, have done 100’s of weddings. Some of my clients get stuck on their music planning, and this app has been a big help to them. Does not work.. Since ios8 the app no longer works. Can't open any lists beyond the main screen without locking up. Since iOS8 has been out for some time now, I would not expect an update any time soon. This used to be a really useful app. Now it is just wasting space since it does not look like they are in any hurry to issue an update to fix the problem.

Misleading. I was under the impression that one could preview a song through this app, not the case. To listen to a song preview you are directed to iTunes, which in my case closes the app and opens iTunes. You then have to select the song preview within iTunes, I was looking for a simpler way to preview music...

Very helpful!!. I was a bit skeptical at first about purchasing the app but I'm glad that I did! Awesome list of options for the dances that I wasn't so sure about (bouquet toss, garter toss, etc) and very pleased to see the songs I had selected before purchasing the app on the list as well!

Great reference tool. I use this app all the time. Especially the decades list. A must for mobile DJs.

Great app for a great price.. I am a mobile DJ, and I can see where this will be helpful to me, having my charts with me at all times, not to mention the referrals to my potential clients. The only thing that would make it better is if it were free :-)

Great App by a Great Company!. I have always been impressed with Intelligence Inc. They provide the best tools for my industry. I have been a professional wedding/event DJ, emcee & trivia game show host for over 20 years. Even though everything has an opportunity for improvement, this app is nothing short of being amazing. (I do agree with a previous review that it should have the ability to compile a list of "play" & "do not play" songs to be easily sent to the client's DJ) I look forward to seeing all the exciting updates to this app in the months to come.

Nice app - but. It would be nice for the individual that is emailing a favorites list to be able to add their own name to the list, so the individual receiving the favorites list can identify who it’s from.

App needs updating. This app is excellent and I would give it 5 stars if it updated the music, it hasn’t updated in long long time.

Great for wedding DJs. The most requested and decade lists are handy to have around when you get people on the floor and all of a sudden you get brain freeze for a good song to play next to keep them on the floor. I highly recommend this app. Is it possible to add landscape to the iPad.

Requests are welcome. This app helps you suggest songs to request for almost any situation. Definetly for weddings; but also has lists for the top songs from the 50's through today's hits. Great app to help you build playlists for any party; because you can't remember every good song that makes you dance. If you are a fan of music, you will enjoy this app.

A DJ Must Have!. I'm a mobile DJ and I meet with wedding clients to finalize their special day weeks in advance. Often times there still uncertainty as to what songs to use at certain moments of the wedding. I love to be able to pull this app out and give them song suggestions for various moments of their wedding. They could be struggling to choose ceremony songs, first dance, father/daughter dance etc. This app gives my clients plenty to choose from an helps in the planning process.

Update more often!!. "Uptown funk" has been a massive wedding song for over 3 months now at weddings and here we are in April 2015 and you do not show it. (Plus others) This is only good if you update it monthly with new hits that are working.

App does not work, don't buy!!!. Not working! Can't select theme and freezes.

Great app. Really a great idea for brides and dj's. Perfect for the dj when you need that next song and you are stumped about what to play.

App Freezes. App Freezes when it tells you to choose a category. ( wont open decade list ) This once was a great app but now useless with iphone 5 running ios 8. This App appears to be unsupported. Software version Has not been updated in years!

Fun Wedding App another handy tool from DJI. Great app from DJI. Handy when you are at a loss for choosing a song in a pinch! Great way to help customers choose songs for their event. Whether it is a wedding or just a party, you can find several songs that work especially when you look by decade. Just having the Top 200 in your pocket all the time is worth the .99 I have used this as a quick reference when I have been on the phone talking to a client and they ask about what type of music I have. This rivals any app out there at .99

Great concept but.... Hello McFly... We pay for the DJ Intelligence service and online integration with our website so clients can sign in and create playlists, search our database, view these same popular lists in this app. We love the end of year charts you post to the website. Overall very happy with DJ Intelligence, but man can we get with the times of 2019? This app is a great reference sheet for songs but it is not worth much if you don’t have good internet. Yeah we have our own music on the laptops, yeah we have saved lists in the music program, yeah we have paper lists, yeah we have good memory, but it would be nice if we could reach this app when we want to without staring at the blue screen spinning circle of death. Can you all make the app capable of going offline, saving data locally on mobile devices? That would be awesome, thanks. I am pretty sure I paid more than $1.99 years ago. I would pay even more again if that was possible. Ohh and the screen bigger than the size of a iPhone 5 from 2011.

Working. Finally it is working!!! After a couple months it fixed!!!

Looking for music. This app was highly recommended by my DJ and I loved it at first but started having crashes every time I opened it and now any time I click on a wedding list the app freezes. I can't look at any music unless it is on the main page of the app. Hope this can be fixed before the big day especially since this app is recommended by my DJ to many couples to search for their music list. Please fix!!

New update is still not working. Finally got an update. Unfortunately, still doesn't work on my iPhone 6. It is frozen on the startup screen, even after deleting the app, reinstalling, and resetting my phone. Back to the drawing board guys.

Great app for finding songs to play. So happy they finally updated this app! It was long over due! I use this app at every DJ job I do. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Missing a basic feature. I agree with another reviewer, this is a handy app for DJs except one thing: you should be possible to play the song if you already have it on your iPod. I don't understand why it doesn't do that. From this app you can BUY the song from iTunes, but you can't play it. That's dissappointing. I would've given it 5-stars if it could do that.

Lame app. I bought this app thinking I would be able to play the music since I PAID to get the app. Instead when I click listen it opens up Itunes preview of the song to buy it from Itunes or preview the song. If i wanted to get a list of songs to listen to for my wedding I would have googled it online what song to play.

This is such a big help!. Love this! This is the app we've all been waiting for. You get to see the most requested songs from around the country that help ease the stress of picking those specialty dance songs. First dance, cake cutting, they got it all covered!!!

Terrible!!!. This may have been an awesome app at one point, when it was released, but now, on my iPhone 5s with iOS 8, you can only see the main list. If you try to click on a different section, like wedding, it locks up. iTunes links don't work either. Great idea, just terrible execution.

Excellent App for Presentaions. Will be great making presentations to new prospective brides to jump start the special song selections. Very cool and impressive to clients. Just wish it could update song selections to DJ Intelligence website.

Constantly Crashing. I mean, if it weren't crashing every single time I tried to use it, perhaps it would be a viable resource. But alas, all it does is crash and go back to the default home page.

Poor performance. When the "app" works it's great but often times you just get a 504 error because the webpage won't load. Not cool at all. I'm glad it was just 1.99 but if the app doesn't work all of the time then I'd rather not spend the money at all.

Does the job and then some. I’m always looking for a better app, but I keep coming back to this one. It does require internet to update and display tracks. It’s simple, intuitive and appropriately priced. I only wish it would link to the DJ Intelligence Account and so we could buy it for our clients.

Junk. The biggest pile of crap app. Hard to use and a lot of confusing b.s.. This app should pay you to download it

Perfect. Amazing tool to start building a wedding playlist. For the bride groom and aspiring DJs.

Event Production. Great app for all mobile Djs and brides-to-be. Easy breakdown of categories to offer up quick suggestions at client meetings and best of all play a sample for them with the touch of a button. Talk about making an impression...

It has potential!. This is a good start but can use a few more improvements. FyI, I am a DJ just reviewing this app and giving my honest feedback. 1: Would be nice to compile a song list to play or not to play with the ability to email that list to a DJ. 2: Is there anway to stream a 30 second sample without leaving the app? .....but still give it an option to buy on iTunes? 3: The Name: "Fun Wedding" You are excluding other parties and events but I can see Weddings being your target. Music Box, Music List, or something intriguing like Pandora - too bad thy was is taken. ;-) Good start guys! This could be very useful for our clients.

Don't buy it's a waste of money!!!!. This App does not work. It only opens up to the main page, and when you try to click on something it freezes and does nothing. I want a refund this is some bull!!!!!!! Don't waste your time or money on this app!!!!!

Got the update...back to rocking!!!. This app IS AWESOME!!! Got the needed update, now it's back to being my favorite and most useful app for quick song ideas and the most useful tool in my toolbox for helping clients (especially weddings) with song selections! Great resource.. A great resource if you are a Wedding DJ.

A Great Resource. Well laid out and practical. Not a lot of bells (no pun intended) and whistles, just a no nonsense chart which is great for referencing without distraction. Accuracy would be my only complaint. "Unforgettable" by Natalie and Nat King Cole (first thing I looked up) is listed as a 50's song. Natalie was born in '51. The "duet" was done in 1991. Just something to watch out for. Other than that, well, still a high rating, right :)

Handy for a diy bride. As a DIY bride that won't be hiring a DJ, Fun Wedding makes it easy to remember great songs to dance to. Thanks for updating the app so you no longer lose your spot when you flip back and fourth between the app and iTunes. And for adding a favorite list. It'd be nice if the lists were even longer and if there were lists by genre. Otherwise nice app that's easy to use.

Great Bride & DJ resource. The list is quite comprehensive considering it uses all the feedback from users of DJ Intelligence. It also includes a list for the Top 200 Most Overplayed songs (which I think almost every DJ plays a good portion of during a night, but there is a reason for that!). What should be included as well is a list of the top 200 most banned songs, which would help couples figure out what they don't want to hear as well. The integration to iTunes to listen to the songs is awesome, except you have to exit the browser to go back to the app, making it a small pain. There is also a link to the lyrics as well, which is slick; great job on that! Listings of the top 100 songs from the 50's to the 00's is phenomenal and will help couples and DJ's alike. What I really liked was the Top 50 lists for the traditional dances, including Bride & Groom, Bride & Father, Groom & Mother, Wedding Party, etc. The Find A DJ link doesn't work in Canada and I don't know if this is for just customers of DJ Intelligence or the networks they are associated with. Overall, if you are getting married or a Professional Mobile DJ that does weddings, you want this app to help with your music selection and spur some thought about what you want to hear, what you don't want to hear, and what can be played for your special night. For $0.99, this App is a STEAL of a DEAL!

Owner - blacktie productions. This is a GREAT app for even the seasoned entertainer. A nice tool when you need that one song for a right moment. A GREAT help for couples to plan a great night of music. But is does not replace a DJ for the DIY wedding. A reception is much more than picking a bunch of songs and hitting play on the Ipod. A DJ can take the music and create the right mix, energy & flow to create an unforgettable reception. This app is helps both Djs & couples to find the right music for the right moment. Maybe an add on could to have the ability to email the favorites to the DJ Keep up the good work

Wedding fun review. Best of music lists are everywhere, but having one at your fingertips no matter where you are is awesome. The iPhone limitation of not being able to multi-task makes only a small inconvenience when following the links to iTunes and lyrics. I look forward to ongoing enhancements in the program just as djintelligence has done with their online DJ tools. Great job!

A great App, but needs an update. The 2020’s are currently missing and the App feels very old. Keep in mind, it’s February 2022 and there hasn’t been an update in 6 years. Hoping to see that change soon. Otherwise, great categories and seemed to be getting updates for music until I last checked a couple of years ago.

DJ. Great app to access music lists. I can now click my Fun Wedding app from my phone and see the songs hitting the charts. Easy to use and navigate. A must for all DJs!

Now REQUIRES WiFi. I used to be able to use the app offline when I was in an area with no wifi. Now that is not an option.

WOW!!! What an AMAZING App for Weddings!!!. I came across this App as I have used another Intelligence, Inc service since 2002; since I have been a Professional Mobile DJ for (19) years... You folks continue to amaze me!!! This is the PERFECT App for Brides-to-be!!! And even for the Grooms... You can go to the "Weddings" section & get the top song suggestions for the various dances (i.e. Bride/Groom, Bride/Father, Groom/Mother, etc) of a Reception!!! AWESOME!!! All this for just $0.99!!! I will definitely recommend this App to all couples looking to get married & have the perfect Wedding Reception!!! Best App of it's kind to assist them on their "BIG DAY"!!! Don't Buy. Not Useful. The app crashes, it won't connect to iTunes and therefore is simply a list of songs you could easily find online.

Love this app. This is my favorite app for music list, have been using for years now, now I have list available all time including updates. A huge help as I DJ and play every song in everyone of these lists. Every DJ, entertainer, Karaoke and fan of music should purchase this app.

App is broken in ios8. New update freezes at the splash screen on an iPhone 6 plus. Tried deleting and reinstalling. No dice

2 Stars because app doesn't work!. It worked the first time I opened it after downloading it, but now all I get is a blank screen when trying to use it. It really would have been nice to use for the sock hop I had last night. Oh well, that goes to show you can't depend on one piece of technology to do your shows. To the creators of this app, please fix ASAP!

Ummm, it could have been nice!!. I got this a few days ago and haven't even been able to open it since! This is something that I would love to use as I plan my wedding and start picking out some songs for my reception but every time I try to use it, the app just sits as 'Updating' with a little wheel spinning, then eventually closes on it's own. If this gets updated I'd be more than willing to give it a shot as I haven't been able to find much else out there like it!

Good app for music charts. I like this app for the music charts but the option to locate a Dj is poor. When I searched for Djs in my area it returned my company name but the wrong phone number and when I searched again from a location near Pittsburgh it returned listing from 70 miles north of here.

App is not working on iPhone 6+. App will not work on new iPhone. This was a great app that now dose not work. How do I get my money back pls.

Don’t waste your money!. Thought this was great when I got it, but it doesn’t update. Songs are the same as when I bought it and I know that can’t be possible. No Lizzo and No new Dan and Shay songs are as of 12/23/19 a dead give away.

App Won't Open. Downloaded the update and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It freezes on the picture screen??? Please advise.
