It focuses primarily on those people that are new to recovery or considering if they have a problem. The podcast is equally useful to longer term recovered persons looking to enhance their own recovery. Host Mark combines his own experience, strength and hope with those of his varied cohosts to provide an essential tool for the recovery community. Anonymous. Anonymous Newcomer (4mos) w a lifetime in and out highly supports this app because it has supported me in early recovery. I would imagine it is useful to the person wondering if they have problems with alcohol or drugs, or concerned about someone they know, or the person who just got their first 24 hrs without using. As well as the person who has worked the program and is working the Steps again or is ready to reach out and serve the recovery community with their experience. I love this podcast. Grateful For This App!. Like others who've found this app by accident, I've incorporated it as part of my own recovery program and has benefitted me tremendously. Being fairly new to the recovering community (9 months and counting, yay!), this app provides a wealth of knowledge on suggestions on maintaining sobriety in a smart, entertaining way where you feel PART OF the conversation instead of being spoken at. Mark and his cohosts are likeable and listenable and in value their opinions and approaches on how they've been able to successfully stay on the right path. It gives me the courage, strength, and hope that I, too, can live this life to the fullest without ever having to use.

It works.. Mark and his guests always say something I need to hear. There's never lecturing or condescension. Just people sharing they're experiences. I started listening two years before I decided it was time to get sober. At the very least, Mark's voice makes great company during that self-loathing hungover commute to work.

Recovered pod cast review. I am an Al Anon member and listen to this podcast regularly. The open talks are worth the premium membership charge $7.99/year) as they provide insight into the suffering of the alcoholic and freedom of recovery, and are often funny. The talk show portion of insightful and thoughtful conversation on a wide variety of great topics is very well moderated by Mark. I give the app a 5 star rating for content, but subtracted stars because it crashes too often and could be better indexed. Keep up the good work.

Complete Game Changer. So happy to have found this app/podcast. Mark and Cast deliver a powerful message with their experience, strength and hope. This tool has been added as a key component to program. Have just over 14 months and found this on a flight to CA in July. Was worried about not being able to make meeting with a tight schedule. Had 6 hours of flight time to get the message. Best part, whether I am traveling or exercising, Recovery is only a click away. Excellent resource for both, the Newcomer and people with some time. Honestly. I have been sober for 43 hours and this has help me tremendously I'm still fighting with daemons every time I go to the store or for a walk it hard to stay sober I want was sober for two years the becoming homeless made it easer to drink but that was an excuses but this time I'm give my all because staying sober is the biggest reward in the world not only will you save money but you'll get closer to the god of your own understanding and you get to make healthier choices and make your family happier but first you have to get sober for you I know this is suppose to be a review but I had to vent thanx for having this online so a person like me can get knowledge and a understanding much love

Keeping the solution close. I am very grateful to have this app! I can use it when I need it for reflection and for reminding me I cannot do this alone. The fellowship and carrying the message is a huge part of my recovery. When I know I'm in trouble, when I find a fellow member in trouble or when I see a newcomer, I use this app as a tool to stay in the solution rather than the problem. Best recovery podcast. When I'm on the road (I'm an outside salesman) I listen to episodes in between meetings and even call in sometimes. These guys are carrying the message!!!!

Saved my marriage and family. The Recovered Podcast literally saved me from complete self destruction. I was in a bad way, trying over and over to stop drinking on my own. The episode about Acceptance got me to my first meeting, and I have been sober for 9 months. I was immediately accepted into the community of recovery. I am so thankful for this podcast.

Recovered. I don't even qualify for AA, but I have a couple other addictions. I am an Adult Child attending 4 meetings regularly every week. I believe this podcast is so good, I would almost rather try living with no water or air than to try to make it without this podcast. It really is that good.

OA'er. I am an OA'er and have found these podcasts very helpful in my own recovery. The speakers and interactions with those present in the broadcast room are always enlightening and very real. This is not a podcast of actual local meetings, although some are. These are more like talk-show format conversations. Great to put on and go for a walk!
