Excellent app / great value. I use it many times a day. So nice not having to carry a separate - more expensive - calculator. Easily shared across devices. My update as of Sept 2017- have used it for more than a year. Still one of the best apps I have. 5+ stars! My update as of August 2018: still nothing better. still use it daily. great for professionals. However, everyone over the age of 15 should have it and know how to use it for both loans and investments/retirement projections. As of September 2019, still my go-to finance app - daily - if not several times a day. I don’t know if Apple allows it, but the developer should have a means of being compensated - even voluntarily by the user. I would happily pay a modest monthly or annual fee as long as I continue to use it. It IS that good!!

Great Calculator. As a financial advisor i am able to use this calculator to show my clients where they stand regarding their Financial Independence Number and what they need to do to get there at retirement and STAY retired without running out of money.

Perfect app for financial planning. The time-value of money is a subject rarely taught in school and barely understood in the real world. This app replaces my trusty Texas Instruments Business Analyst II which previously accompanied me to every client meeting. Now it’s as close as my phone, always available, and not another piece of equipment to lug around. Congratulations on a very well-designed tool!

Still the best calculator. This app has been on my phone since the IPhone 3. I love it. It’s easy to use, works, and the developer has never asked for a penny to keep it up and running. If you need a finance calculator this is the app you ought to put on your device.

Great just like the physical version. BA2 Plus but now on an app, with neat feature like being able to see the calculations without having to go into the functions. I hope they add the BA-2 Plus with silver skin as a future update.

Superb. This is very high quality software. I have encountered no bugs or glitches. It emulates the BA II Plus Professional exactly, with subtle and useful additions, such as contextual help and keyboard enhancements enabled by it being a touchscreen.

My Go To Calculator. This is an excellent calculator. I find myself using it for all of my CRE work and even the simplest calculations. Thanks for keeping it updated and user friendly.

Just like the real one only better. Takes me back to when I first discovered the time value of money. The original set me on the road to financial success.

Easy to use. I had used the actual calculator for several years & still have it. But since using this app for at least 4 years, I have replaced the calculator with my phone with no problems.

It doesn't work in IPads. Since last version, it doesn't work in IPads. ----- After the developer's response, I changed my review to five stars, thanks to the developer's customer service. However, either because of Apple's fault or because of the developer, I do not understand how a hardware that works well should have these difficulties because it is old. This is the first time in an application update that it is incompatible with the IOS version of the IPad. Finally, I do not think it's sustainable for the planet to turn a functional IPad into future "junk".

Only fin calculator you need.. Is an excellent tool. The developer updates the app as and when necessary. As a retired commercial finance professional, I strongly recommend. My Reliable Calculator Since Early 90’s. As a Finance & Sales Manager thru my 41 year auto industry career, my Texas Instruments Financial Calculator was always by my side, when the systems would go down I’d write the contracts by hand accurately with this device, to this date I now use it for my new job as a Real Estate agent, I’ve bought several of them because I’ve lost them, I carry one in my briefcase and the digital version in my iPhone, probably your best investment if you work with numbers, highly highly recommended!!

Great application. It works similar to a actual Financial Calculator but without the big cost. The app has inbuilt Q&A for any doubts or questions you might have and You can also contact the developer if the Q&A is not helpful, have not used this as I have found my answers.

Wonderful implementation!. I really love the color changes when the 2nd button is presseed and I love the haptic feedback. It is also very impressive that the values in the TVM variables are displayed all the time so you don't have to wonder if the right values are in there. Altogether I am very impressed with this app!

Best BA Financial calculator. I have not used my TI BA Financial calculator for over 30 years, and I can’t find the calculator manual. Recently I have a need to calculate IRR to compare different annuity products. Before I came across this app, I tried a few other financial calculator emulators and was frustrated with the instructions. This includes the TI user manual. Needless to say I lost confidence in the results those apps yield. This app outshines all other emulator apps in several ways. 1) it’s built in manual with sample problems clearly shows you how to enter each key to come up with the right answer. 2) it explains the concept behind the calculator. Things like work sheet and time value of money. 3) it’s enhanced keys will show additional info to clarify the parameter you are using. The most useful one is is periods per year (P/Y). If you are working on mortgage, most likely you are working on monthly payment, so you need to set P/Y to 12. Once set, the P/Y key shows 12 on it. Clever design! 4) print worksheet will print the parameters of the worksheet you are working on to tape, and you can view the tape to trace back your key strokes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED cause you can learn or refresh quickly how to use this wonderful app.

Great calculator app. This is the perfect substitute for a fin. calculator, and actually better than an actual device as you can see numbers keyed already on top of buttons (like pv), and the main display adjusts to fit in more digits.

Really good but not for iphone 5. The app works perfectly, has all BA II plus functions. The big con is that it wasn't "stretched" for iphone 5, which could make the buttons larger.

Works, buttons are small though. I still have the same calculator from my days as a finance undergrad. I was looking forward to using it on my phone, until I experienced the small buttons. That took a familiar and desired design, and made it a pain in the rear. I don't use the app because of this, I still use the real version, since the small buttons caused too many mistakes.

Works great, good support. The calculator works just like it should. I had a problem after download, got tech help by email promptly. After Ernie suggested uninstall/reinstall (which is free) it worked great.

Great program. I work in the financial counseling world and this calculator works as good as my TI handheld. Well written, fast launching, nice appearance. I would give it 5 stars but on the iPad there is quite a bit of wasted space around the calculator. Very good documentation is also built into the program. The author made it resemble a handheld which is really nice but making it larger on the screen would improve it in my opinion.
